Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, Welcome back and happy Wednesday to you. So
Benson Boone is coming into town next week. So these
concerts are just pouring through the city of Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
And plus his whole tour sold out in like minutes.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Nine minutes.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Yeah, a world.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Tour, I know, nine minutes. And we've got tickets for
Benson Boone right now. All you need is the keyword
and we'll take caller twenty five. But the keyword is jumpsuit.
Jumpsuit is the keyword because that's what he wears on stage.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Very fitting.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Yeah, you guys see what his stage setup looks like.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
Yes, it looks like a giant they're saying it looks
like a giant penish.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
From an aerial of view, it does resemble that.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Why not? You know we can't make this up right, Yeah,
I'm staying out of that conversation.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Good luck to call her twenty five in the meantime, Lisa,
it is eight am, just after eight am, five hours
away from dropping Max off at college.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
You had to remind me.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Yep, it's coming, it's coming.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
Good morning, guys. This message is for Lisa. I recently
saw something on Instagram that said healthy birds leave the nest.
So I just wanted to repeat that to you as
you drop off Max today and with you good luck.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I totally agree with her, totally.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
God's truly well said yea happy birds.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
Yeah, I feel like he is ready. He's excited, obviously nervous,
you know about making new friends and all that kind
of stuff. But we met his roommate last night. We
went out to dinner with them. They're from California, so
that was really great. He feels very confident about that.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So that's good. And yeah, so this is this is exciting, all.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Right, And good luck Max. I know you listen occasionally.
Good luck. It's like my nephew.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
He is, He'll do just fine. He's a great kid.
Be super proud. So I want to give a big
shout out to my son Abel, who starts third grade
today at the Barn School in Salem, New Hampshire. So
he's up, he's ready to go. He was just talking
to Uncle Bill on the phone and FaceTime. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
It was so funny because we're talking and I'm looking
at and to you, what are you wearing the school
first day? And he said, yeah, can you give me
a shout out on the radio?

Speaker 7 (02:12):
I should jump on the bandwagon. My nieces are sharing
fourth and first grade today.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Good luck you guys, all the kids. Good luck to Able.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
And it's all new chapters, right Max going to college,
new chapter, a new grade, third grade, you.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Know, very exciting, very very exciting. Imagine that already third grade.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Remember remember his first ready for this, Remember his first
day Able of kindergarten. We had him on the show
and Billy told him to skip school.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah, don't, yeh, don't listen to Uncle Bill.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Don't, okay, don't listen to him. Well, my child, what
was a little different, a little weird? You know, we
had lots of places to go, a little wear in kindergarten.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
So good luck to Abel, I love you, and good
luck to everybody else, including Winny's nieces. Let's go to
Leanna and Wooburn on nine one.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Okay, Leanna, Hello, Hello, good morning, Wow, good morning to you, Leanna.
Where are you calling, Frohun.

Speaker 8 (03:06):
I'm calling in from Wooburn, just getting home from my
night shift.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Oh your night shift as a nurse. I'm guessing.

Speaker 8 (03:13):
As a nurse.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, any specialty cute care. Oh wow, good for you,
and thank you for your service. Thank you, thank you.
For your sir, thank you, But you are caller twenty five,
so I'm guessing you're a Benson Boone fan.

Speaker 9 (03:31):
I am a Benson Boone fan, and so is my son,
who absolutely loves him.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
And Sam a jingle ball.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
For the first time, so I think he's gonna absolutely
love going again.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
All right, Well, I need a keyword, That's all I need.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
The keyword is jumpsuit.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Jumpsuit is the keyword. And now you're going to see
Benson Boone and you're taking your kid with you.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Thank you guys so.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Much that it's kind of a cute squeak. Hold on, okay,
do not hang up, and Producer Riley's going to give
you all the instructions and Lisa all the morning. So
I just firsthand witnessed the magic that is Taylor Swift.
So we're playing style right now. Is that the song

(04:14):
is about Harry?

Speaker 6 (04:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah. So during the song, I'm looking at Lisa and
I'm looking in the glass at Producer Riley, and as
Taylor is singing, the two of them are as angry
as Taylor is. During the song. They're getting all the
motion all wrapped up in the song.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Oh no, we know every single word. Yeah, that Harry
single word.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Wow, pretty cool stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
That was a short lived romance.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, how queer is that one?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Very quick?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Wow, Harry is a different kind of Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yeah, it's a free spirit.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Free spirit. He's no Brad Pitt. Yeah. And apparently he's
no Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
No, definitely not. And listen. We did our whole topic
time about this this engagement, which took so many calls
and talkbacks. We got so many more we'll get to
them at nine point forty in the wrap up.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Meantime, Monday, we were back from vacation. It was a
big show. We had Karen Reid's lawyer, David Yannetti live
in studio.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
We did that was really cool.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
It was a great interview. He gave us a lot
of important information. Yesterday was the big, highly anticipated hearing.
It's a two day hearing on this trooper that was fired.
He was the lead investigator in the Karen Reid case,
Michael Proctor, and it didn't look good for him at
the hearing. I watched a lot of it yesterday.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
It didn't.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Their lawyer for the state, please, I thought, did a
really good job sort of saying why they should not
reverse this.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
I'd say he was, and we can't even play that.
You know, things that Michael Procter wrote the text messages.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yeah, he was repeating a lot of the stuff that
Proctor was saying during the investigation about Karen read.

Speaker 8 (05:52):
Yeah, his conduct was unprofessional, inappropriate, juvenile, sexist, disgusting us.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
That pretty much sums it up pretty much.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
I don't think he has a shot.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Well. Another thing against him is that they were laying
out evidence that he had leaked a lot of the
information during the trial to people who had no connection
at all to the trial.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
That's the big part for me, is confidential information to civilians.

Speaker 7 (06:17):
Right, And that's the defense, which is weird. They're saying, oh, well,
we it's private. So you know he's texting his friends.
Why are you texting your friends about his suspect?

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Yeah, rules wasn't drunk driving exactly the right.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
And then there's that yeah yeah where was your gun?

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Yeah yeah, yeah, so many things.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
I don't think that's that's going to happen. Who knows.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
But how about this. We just found out that Karen
Reid and her lawyer, Alan Jackson, who some would argue
was the lead attorney right for Karen.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Reich's team and they were Yeah, the two of.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Them, Karen and Alan Jackson are going to be on
Howie Carr Show tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock out. To
the best of our knowledge, this is the first sit
down to interview that Karen has given since the trial, right,
I mean there wasn't a documentary, but in person sit
down to interview. And Howie Carr is on our station

(07:13):
w RKO here at iHeart yep.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Yeah, that's a big deal. This is a big deal.
This is they're promoting it on how He's Twitter two
o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Now does that mean that Karen will be in the building.
I don't think so, because how.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
We Yeah, no, how He's not not here.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah, he does it from his own studios.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
He has his own whole network.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Wow, he's got.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
His own studio.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Meantime, there's another twist to this now justin you got
a message this week from the woman. You've seen it
in the news during the course of the Karen Reid trial.
After the first trial, one of the jurors that served
on the first Karen Reid trial became one of Karen
Reid's lawyers.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
Yeah, that was a big story. We covered that, talked
about it, and then we had David Yanetta on and
we got this talkback from a listener. We didn't know
who it was after he had left.

Speaker 9 (08:06):
I just had to call in and say hi to
my old colleague David. Hi, David, it's Victoria. I also
want to let you guys know that a member of
the talkback Mafia was in fact on Karen's legal team.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
So I just wanted to call in and say, Hey,
So her name is Victoria.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
She DMed me I actually know her, and she went
radio silent from communicating with this show calling talkbacks DMS
three years ago. When the trial started, she couldn't talk
about it. So I've been talking to her a lot,
and basically she wanted so badly to talk to us
and tell us it was her, but she couldn't. But
she couldn't. And so then she was on the jury

(08:43):
and she's coming in tomorrow, she's gonna be live in
the studio. She's gonna tell us all this. But she was, Yeah,
she was on the first jury in the mistrial, and
she felt so strongly about how it all unfolded that
she ended up joining the defense team.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
Exactly the second trial, and she's one of the only
first jurors have talked. We've had a large jurors from
the second trial talk. No one's talked from the first Jersey.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (09:05):
So I'm super excited to talk to her and hear
her point of view because we haven't heard anyone's point
of view from the actual jury.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Yeah, the first trial.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
What time tomorrow do we have her on?

Speaker 4 (09:14):
She'll be here at eight a m.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
And again a member of the talkback Mafia or Unbillian Lisa.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
I think she has like four kids under five. Oh wow, twins.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Oh my gosh. Yeah, what a busy couple of years
she's had.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
They did a really big write up on her on
Vanity Fair. Yeah, it's really good. So she's going to
come in discuss it all. And you know, she can't
talk about like certain strategies. It's just like David Ynetty.
He can answer some of the questions. Yeah, but she
can talk about the whole experience and yeah all that.
So yeah, Karen read tomorrow two pm on How We
car Wow, we're covering that as well. From the Planet's

(09:50):
Fitness Kiss one Away Studios, they're back with a Billy
and Lisa in the morning on Kiss Wait now the entertainment.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Updates with a Billy.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
So Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey are engaged. That is
a huge abuzz story. This morning they confirmed the engagement
with the picture and the post yesterday. That post had
fourteen million likes in the first hour alone. And justin
don't we have a clip of Jason Kelcey, Travis's brother,

(10:21):
announcing the engagement.

Speaker 10 (10:23):
Toward this podcast on Monday, which was Travis's one day off,
so he is not here to address this himself, but
we felt necessary as a team here at New Heights
to get together and send Travis and Taylor a giant
congratulations for being engaged.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
They're so pure.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yeah, boy, Jason Kelsey is all in.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
On this, isn't he He would be such a good
brother in law. I would love him right need too,
that's amazing.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Oh yeah yeah, then he'll be the funk.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Oh yeah, yeah, Oh.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
There's gonna be some fun holiday dinners in the summer, picnics,
backyard picnics. I'm just saying it's a good group. The
ring itself between eight maybe ten carrots, reportedly between a
half million, maybe a little more than a half million,
closer to a million dollars. What else do we know
about that ring.

Speaker 11 (11:21):
Shape of the diamond which people always ask about an
elongated cushion. So a cushion diamond is one that has soft, rounded,
kind of pillowed corners, and an elongated cushion is one
that's more rectangular in shape. The band, the actual ring
design itself is yellow gold. Yellow gold is having a
huge moment, has been and it's thick, really nicely designed
with vintage inspired scroll work.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
It seems I knew about a cushion cut. I never
knew about an elongated cushion.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Can we get a funny talk back this morning about
the cushion? Yeah, I'll try to dig it up.

Speaker 12 (12:00):
Oh my god, Taylor Swift has elongated cushion.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
I have elongated cushion.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
He sleeps aside me every night. As for the timing
of the engagement, I don't know right away, A lot
of speculation, right, Lisa, Did it happen earlier? Was it
two weeks three weeks ago? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Well, I guess Travis's dad called into Cleveland TV station
and he kind of spilled a little bit of the beans.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yeah, he says, they were a little anxious.

Speaker 13 (12:30):
I think she was getting maybe a little anty. But
he was going to put it off to this week,
to you know, make some grand thing, to make it
a big special event. And I told him repeatedly, you know,
you can do it on the side of the road, dude,
or any place that makes it a special event.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
I agree with his sentiment on that, you know what
I mean, the dad being like, Oh, just do it,
you want to do it, just do it. Don't worry
so much about making it this big, splashy thing because
she obviously loves you and wants to marry you.

Speaker 8 (12:56):
Right.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
I remember when I called my mother in law and asked,
or you know, my wife's hand in marriage. Her father
had passed on, so I called her mom, Nannie lives downstairs,
and asked, and she said, I am sure you want
to do that.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
I think my parents would do the same thing.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Well, she's out of my hands and she's all yours.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Yeah, but Nan, he's in your house.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
You got your wife and your mother in law and
your grandmother.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Oh yeah, that.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Is that's your own little love story.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
It is, thank you, you know what it is.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
It's a full house. Anyway. The engagement not only heard
around the world. The news even interrupted President Trump's cabinet
meeting yesterday.

Speaker 14 (13:51):
I didn't tell you the biggest pop culture news of
the year for while we were in this cabinet meeting.

Speaker 15 (13:56):
Charles Kelsey and Taylor Swift are engaged.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
And well, I wish him a lot of luck.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Yeah. I think it's I think he's a great player.

Speaker 13 (14:07):
I think he's a great guy, and I think that
she's a terrific person.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
So I wish him a lot of luck. Yeah. Tate
McCrae had the first of two shows at the TD
Garden last night, and she does that sound check before
the show where she covers somebody else's song and talk
about timing. She covered Taylor's style.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
I love that song. She sounds great.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Yeah. We gave away a lot of Tate tickets yesterday.
By the way, Benson Boone we gave away at eight
ten this morning. When are we doing Benson Boone again?
Justin tomorrow morning?

Speaker 4 (14:56):
Eight ten?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
All right? And Zara Larson is opening on t She's
the opening act. She was the opening act in the
Garden last night and on her way to the Tate
McCrae show at the Garden. She stopped by the Kid
studios and talked to our own mikey Vee about this
tour and uh.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Oh is that I'm sorry, there's a little audio glitch there.
You want to keep going and then'll come back to it.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
I'll just keep going, all right. Zarah Larson touring with
Tate McCrae. The second show in the TD Garden tonight
and Morgan Wallin sold out to Jollette Stadium. I think
we knew that he did two shows at ju Lyte Stadium,
but he went over curfew Friday night and you get
fined for that.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
You did twenty five cents per person, so random, and.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
He went fourteen minutes over. It's a big stadium.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
Yeah, it's almost a thousand a minute.

Speaker 7 (15:47):
Yeah, but if you think about it, it's only twenty
five cents a ticket, right, you know, which is nothing
when they when these tickets are one hundred, two hundred,
three hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Yeah, I thought it would have been more. Yeah, fine, Yeah,
there was a.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Little more than fifteen thousand.

Speaker 15 (16:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
I thought it would have been like, you know, ten
thousand a minute or something like that.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Yeah, And again back to Tate McCrae. She's just announced
yesterday she's going to be doing the MTV Awards coming
up September seven. She was already lined up to do
our iHeart Radio Music Festival, which happens at September nineteenth
and twentieth. How do you do all that? She's on
her own tour. I think she's doing the iHeart Festival,
She's doing the MTV Award.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
It seems like so much fun. Yeah, just so much fun.

Speaker 7 (16:28):
She's young, she's enjoying. Yeah, I think it's good the best.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
And I mentioned that you want to talk look at you?

Speaker 4 (16:36):
How many how many things are you doing? You do
three TV shows, a radio show, hosting Gallas. It works
harder than you.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
He allegedly wrote a book.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
He has a book.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
He does have a Okay, I mean bookstore windows all
over and end.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
I know that we were in Petetown walking down the
main street there by a bookstore. Bill goes, there's my book.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
There was in the bookstore.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
There was.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Okay, you should have gone and signed it.

Speaker 7 (17:01):
You know, like how artists when they're like, you know,
a record store, they go sign their album.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
You should have gone in and signed it.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Bill did give an autograph on a listener on a
receipt for a rest.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
I have a picture. Yeah, the guy came out of
the kitchen.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Okay, he came. You just said that.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
That was an experience. And by the way, slight correction.
It's at three radio.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Shows, oh three?

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Oh well, the morning show, this one, the Kiss, Top
thirty Countdown and your Thought on WBC. I just want
to keep you up on things.

Speaker 7 (17:37):
Okay, So three radio shows, two TV shows, and an
alleged book.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
And an absolutely by the way, that's a taste of Boston.
Billy and Jenny founded a book store near you. Yeah,
or you can get it online.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
I'm just saying you. We got things to do.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Okay, it's crazy ahead. I'm sad. Occasionally I just wish
I could be in the car listening to the show,
don't we.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
If we can make ourselves off, like, oh, I think
I'm hilarious.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
You are your biggest fan.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Can I get my Zara?

Speaker 3 (18:22):
The buildings so fun?

Speaker 2 (18:24):
It really has been.

Speaker 16 (18:26):
It's a beautiful crowd, it's an amazing stage, amazing venues.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Yeah, and we can talk about little Nods X because
we have talked about him this week over the weekend.
This past weekend, he was arrested for walking the streets
in the middle of the night naked in Los Angeles
and apparently assaulted a police officer. And we've been talking
about it. The world's been talking about it, and yesterday
he talked about it. That was terrifying. That was a

(18:54):
terrifying last four days. But your girls gonna be all right.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
I love him, I really do.

Speaker 7 (19:02):
I think he has you know, maybe some issues, but
definitely he has issues.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Yeah, but he's funny.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Yeah, he can take a step back.

Speaker 6 (19:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Do we have an update on the white cowboy boots
that he had on. He took them off, dropped him
in the streets. Some guy picked them up, and as
of yesterday they were on eBay for over ten thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
They're still up. I don't think anybody's bought in them
yet as far as I can see.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
I like, the guy's gonna end up wearing those white
cowboy boots.

Speaker 7 (19:31):
But think about eBay, is you can put it bed in, right,
and you can put yeah, yeah, you can put it in.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Yeah yeah yeah, bid like five bucks.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yeah, I'm guessing the guy put the boots on immediately.
You know they were good looking. Cowboy.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
I'm just saying, Okay, they're size thirteen.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Oh he's big feet, big footed?

Speaker 4 (19:48):
God wow yeah wow yeah, whoa, I learned a lot
about Oh wait, there are zero bids.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Take dollars yesterday, justin.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Putting it for like ten bucks.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Okay, yeah, because in two months you can sell them
for a lot. Possibly. I'm just saying, Hey, speaking of money,
the powerball jack bought tonight about eight hundred and fifty million.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
Oh my god, I might have to put my two
dollars bed in.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Yeah meat to me, we're not doing a group thing anymore.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
That's fry.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
We tried the group thing and every time I was
the only one that bought a ticket with it.

Speaker 7 (20:21):
If I would buy ticket, if I went eight fifty
off a two dollars ticket, you guys can each have
like ten million.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
I like, go ahead, oh thank you.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Even twenty million?

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Do you have that on a file?

Speaker 3 (20:32):
That twenty sixty million? To me, you'd be like nothing,
go ahead.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Red Sox won five nothing. They're on fire. They were
a full game up on the Yankees. Now in the
wild card and.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Uh ohdo can I just read this. We have an
update on the eBay thing. It says little naz X
was seen walking down Ventura Boulevard in his underwear and
boots around four four in the morning by himself. He
kicked these boots off, said I'm tired of these girls.
I don't need them anymore, and started walking fitfoot. Go
bid on them if you want.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Probably could have used him when he got to jail.
Oh yeah, old Town Road, baby, Yeah, take it right
to jail.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
He needs to get the help that he.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Yet he does. He's in he's in crisis.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
We're brought to you by the ninety nine restaurant. Visit
the ninety nine Monday through Wednesday today, by the way,
happens to be Wednesday. You'll get their newest big deal meal.

(21:37):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
It's the Mayor Buddy Show today. I have an elongated
cushion as well.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
His name is Carlos from.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
The Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 12 (21:50):
We we're back with a Billy and Lisa in the
morning on Kiss.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Hey, guys, welcome back. Little gossip here. I guess Bill
Belichick's Nantucket house one of them is up for sale, right.

Speaker 5 (22:02):
Yeah, He's got a big real estate portfolio on Nantucket.
So one of the houses, it's close to four million
dollars is three point nine It's a little beachfront cottage,
two bedrooms selling for three point nine million a week
before he begins as head coach of UNC.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Yeah, it's not an overwhelming looking project, but it's an
overwhelming location exactly. I mean he's inches from the water,
it appears.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
I'm looking at it right now. The inside looks beautiful.
It's very small outside. I guess it looks rustic, but
it's right on the beach.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
I would take it.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, is he been living in the
house or is it one that he rents or like,
why does he have so many houses on the island.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
Well, I know that he has a big place in Sconset, right,
more of like a compound kind of thing. Sure, and
we know that he purchased something in town that I
think Linda is still holiday.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
That's the house that went to Linda. I think so deservedly.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yep, she deserved every every Yeah of that house.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Maybe this one's like the love nest. It's right by
the water. It overlooks the ocean. It looks beautiful on
the inside.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
I'll tell you if it's in Sconset. That's like one
of the furthest tips of the nantucket of the Island.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
Yeah, it's on North Gully Road. I don't know if
you're familiar with that.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Yeah, SCons It is one tip, and then Madikett is
another tip. So yeah, you're out there. It would make
for a perfect love nest.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Definitely. I'm looking at the pictures of the inside right now.
It definitely would. I wonder why he's unloading it.

Speaker 7 (23:34):
Well, I think he's not gonna be there as much,
right since he'll be down North Carolina, right and he
only really needs one house there.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Speaking of North Carolina, the football season starts this weekend, right,
college football? Yes, and he addressed the team UNC. He's
coaching UNC, and I guess he addressed him and let
them know. Yes, he confirmed they would be part of
a Hulu series.

Speaker 17 (23:57):
It's going to.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Feature the players Hard which you guys do.

Speaker 10 (24:02):
All right, it's about the players can be proving ain't
getting better through their hard work, which you do.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
They won't see a dollar that it's going to be
out this fall on Hulu, like you said, Yeah, it's
going to follow the series, the players, the team Belichick.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
And this is the show that's kind of the rebound
because they had The Hard Knocks canceled because Jordans kept
putting her face in about this.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Back it up there, Bill, I didn't think of that.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
She's kind of disappeared since shot into the beauty contest
up north.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
I did see just this morning, I saw a meme
or you know, kind of in relation to the Tailor
and Travis engagement, like a fake engagement announcement of Bill
and Jordan, and Jordan has like a thing sticking in
Bill's back, like.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Making we allowed to talk about this connect. You may
or may not have Winnie to Jordan.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
You have to, but now you just did that.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Okay, good, Yeah, it's fine.

Speaker 7 (25:07):
I think I'm attending a baby shower next week. Her
and I have a mutual friend. I know we were
both invited. I'll be there. I don't know if she'll
be there, but if she is there.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
You could be in the same role.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Does Jordan give up baby shower vibes?

Speaker 3 (25:23):
I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
It is a friend of hers.

Speaker 7 (25:26):
Yeah, yeah, so now you still the story.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
She doesn't have many friends, right, there's been a lot
of written about that.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
Oh Winnie, Okay, this is what this is the plan?

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah, it up.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
So I'm getting these ray band metaglasses.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
Okay, okay, okay, I care.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Yeah, she can just hit a little button, think on
her phone or the glasses and record video.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
This is awesome.

Speaker 7 (25:50):
It's definitely a full This is really random and also
kind of a full circle.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
But this is key though. You have to wear the
meta glasses in like. You can't just suddenly put them on.
You have to act as though because they do come
in prescription too. If you made a prescription. Yeah, and
oh god, for you to go to prison for secretly
recording someone, I would have to retire this morning.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
I should have added, I don't want you just to
record if there's a confrontation, right, that's what.

Speaker 7 (26:18):
Well, I don't think she'll be there, because I'm sure
she'll be down to North Carolina.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
It's it's for football, ye, football season.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
I don't know. She hasn't been seen around the team much. No,
they pulled her from that well because she put the
cowbh on the hard knocks.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
I will say in Jordan's defense, after the whole winning
feud and everything, I did talk to her on the
phone and she was willing and ready and wanted to
come in and make kind of make good with Winnie.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
No, she wanted to butt heads with Winnie in person.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
No, she did. She did kind of switch up.

Speaker 7 (26:49):
I tried to DM her just to shout even privately,
just you know, girl to girl like little because you know,
we have all this public back and forth, but we
never actually spoke. I've never actually had a conversation. So
I reached out. She read it immediately and never responded.
So I'm kind of just like, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
You know what she's thought when she read it.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
Not talking about this.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Lisa every morning just went to wait, justin we are
in talk back overload on this.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Show this morning, especially on the big announcement announcement from
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey. But some people they were sleeping,
they didn't even know. They just woke up.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Wow, Holy crap.

Speaker 16 (27:28):
I just woke up to the news that Taylor and
Travis are I can't even talk, are engaged. I mean,
we knew what was going to happen, but I'm like
in shock, happily shock, hap happy shop.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
It's half asleep the time.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Did you go to bed yesterday after?

Speaker 1 (27:48):
You like a marathon sleep?

Speaker 3 (27:56):
I want to sleep that well, yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Because the announcement came.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
I did.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Yeah, yeah, I know. Some of our sister stations on
the West coast three hours behind, we're live.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Oh lucky man.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
When the news dropped. Wow, you know towards the end
of their show.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
We would have been loved to be live for that.
That would have been awesome.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Oh yeah, it would have been great. Anyway, congrats to them.
Tomorrow night book club at Big Night Live with Lisa.

Speaker 12 (28:19):
Good morning, It's Kim from Marlborough. I am so excited
to go to Lisa's book club tomorrow night. It's my
first one. And my question is do we bring our
favorite Jody Pcoke book or is she giving them out
and signing them?

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Just check in.

Speaker 12 (28:35):
Thank you can't wait to meet you all.

Speaker 5 (28:38):
Well, Kim, your ticket includes the paperback of by any
other Name. So she's going to sign that for you.
And yeah, if you want to bring another book, I'm
sure she would be happy to sign that one too.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
That's so cute. She has multiple books at our house.
She says, she ever my favorite book.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
Well, she's got a massive fan base. Yeah, yeah, this this,
this venue is going to be packed tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
Yeah, I have Yeah, I have Matt Hunting too from her.
We did that a couple of years ago.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
I should never signed that one.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I'm going to.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Yeah, we'll all be there so doors open at five, right.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Yeah, we have Cordelia Fox from Berkeley. Her band will
be performing in Studio B for everybody else. The cocktail
hour rolls on and Jody's signing books and stuff like that.
So yeah, so get there between five and six and
then the Q and A will start at around six
forty five seven.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
I'll be on stage with Jody.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
No, I have a big gash in my face. Is
that going to be any kind of a distraction for me?
Because I can stay away?

Speaker 2 (29:35):
No, I think you need to be there, and I
think just put.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
I was slashed on the streets.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Do you have any cover up or anything?

Speaker 3 (29:42):
I can bring you some? I'll put your face.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
We started you guys.

Speaker 5 (29:48):
We started off in the morning with Billy walking in
with a giant piece of toilet paper.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
I posted you can see it on my Instagram at
just to be easy, I posted the video.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
It was hanging o.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Do I go, okay, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (30:02):
And I was in the studio very early with Justin
and producer Riley was in the studio and I knew
Producer Riley was just zeroed in on the giant piece
of toilet paper but didn't say anything. But I said, look,
could you just stop looking at it? Okay, forget it's there.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
I had to get Billy my hairspray because he lost
his dop kit too.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Doesn't know where it is.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
It's at a crisis. Oh my god, that's the adop
kit is missing. I think it's somewhere on the streets
of Medford.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Well good. The good thing, you know, you work with
the two girls and you can put some cover.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
I would definitely, yeah, yeah, definitely.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
And a couple of minutes ago we were veiled that
Winnie and Jordan Hudson Assi were going to be at
the same events coming up. I mean, the question is,
Whinny you're going right? Will Jordan's show up, Good.

Speaker 17 (30:45):
Morning, Billy and Lisa Crew. I can totally see Jordan
showing up to this baby shower. She's pretty well known
for showing up in places that she's not welcome because
she's an insufferable bitch.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
I have a hard time wrangling my top back.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Woha, man, that's gonna go in the top ten of
the year. I'll be playing at the end of the year.
Go to check mark next to that one to the.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
End of the year, Kids run away into the morning,
wrap up on Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
So, of course, the big story worldwide is the Taylor
Swift Travis Kelsey engagement. We talked about it, gave all
the details, gave our thoughts and also got our listeners
thoughts and their emotions and how they felt. I think
this pretty much sums it up.

Speaker 8 (31:34):
No, Like literally, why am I crying listening to love
Story And the fact that.

Speaker 9 (31:39):
Like someone just finally said this, sir her, this is
what she's in writing arounds.

Speaker 8 (31:42):
She was fifteen, sixteen years old and like finally, like
someone just said this like to her, Like I'm literally
emotional and I don't even know this person, but like
we're so emotionally invested, like I'm so.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Happy for her, Like, oh my god, yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
I mean, listen, I'm not a huge Swifty. I mean
I like Taylor Swift, I like our music. But I
wore my Tailor Swift shirt today in support because I
love love. Right, sometimes you've got a root for love.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
With all the terrible things going on in the world,
all the hate, all.

Speaker 7 (32:17):
The ugliness, isn't it nice to love and be happy
about love?

Speaker 2 (32:22):
It's so true?

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Right we love? Yeah, love is like oxygen. Love is
a many, splendid thing. Love lifts us up, what we belong.
All you need is love. That's what it does.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
Yes, it does.

Speaker 15 (32:35):
I started day one of a new job yesterday, and
I was sitting in the middle of the first day
of training when I watched no less than six text messages, screenshots,
my husband, my friends texting me telling me about Taylor,
and I had to sit there and act like a
normal person and not like the swifty lunatic that I

(32:55):
truly am, because how am I supposed to x normal?

Speaker 3 (33:00):
When Taylor just got engaged, my little sister called me.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
She was like Taylor Swift, she got engaged, posted, posted, posted.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
She was in the middle of the meeting. She was
like and she called me and I was like, okay.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Yes, guys, how did they keep this quiet for a
couple of weeks?

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Well, I think it was. Producer Riley was telling me
that the rumor is they think that it happened after
the podcasting, and there's another story that says that it
happened two weeks ago. And that was two weeks ago, yes,
the day, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Two weeks.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
No one said anything. That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
And Taylor was really kind of gushing during that podcast.

Speaker 7 (33:36):
She was he I mean, he was gushing her a
home like a teddy bear.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
That was a moment.

Speaker 14 (33:45):
I am one of those unbearable swifties that people can't
stand and I am so excited. And I was with
one of my doctors yesterday and found it out and
they were like laughing because they got to see my
live reaction.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
It was about ever.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Yeah, it's that thing that we've always said that Taylor
has that very few artists have. She has an amazing
connection to people, and especially her friend, a.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
Deep connection and everyone knows all of her old loves, her,
past relationships that just didn't work out.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
So and the famous albums and records that were about
the things that didn't work out. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
Yeah, and she writes all her own music, so you
know how she feels. So congratulations, amazing. In the meantime,
we got to open the door and swing things over
to my girl Tip. Yeah, all right, she's up next.

Speaker 16 (34:35):
Let's go.
