Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, it's time to play kiss want to wait? Secret
Sound presented by six one seven Injured. Find them on
Instagram at Injury Money. The current jackpot is one thousand,
five hundred forty dollars. Listen very carefully, here is the
Secret Sound.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Boy, that's a tough one.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
That is a tough one, but we'll take caller twenty
five at six one seven, nine three one eight.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Hi, guys, book club dazy last night was possibly the
best one. Chris Rideker is amazing, So thank you so
much for doing that. I'm going to cuddle up with
the book today. And also saw m cave out in
the wild with that new stash he's got.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Oh that's a look.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
Oh yeah, McKay was walking around jos and Maine.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah, he's really sticking with the mustache. That's the mighty mccave.
He's on after us at ten am, and you really
have to look for the mustache. Yeah, it doesn't jump
right out because he's blonde.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Blonde.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Stat It also took him twelve months to grow.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, it's still growing.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
I like the commitment.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah, the book club looked amazing. Lisa if this is
really fun, so much, so many good feedback. We had
the clip earlier of Chris what Iquerd talking about meeting
with Will Smith's production company for his book literally a
week after the slap Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Crazy, and he talked about a lot of stuff last night.

Speaker 6 (01:28):
So I asked him one of the questions I like
to ask all of the authors is what is your
writing process?

Speaker 5 (01:34):
And he had such an interesting answer.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
When I was writing it, I found it so hard
to write the patch scenes in the basement that I
would write maybe for an hour, and then switch and
write something nicer, like them sharing their first kiss or
going to prom. And so when I came back in
year three to putting the book back together kind of
like how you put a jig saw back together, I
had all these shorter pieces of writing.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:58):
So he would develop his characters like over years. He
would have conversations with them to the point where he
knew the ins and outs of these characters that he created,
and that's what makes them so powerful and that's what
makes this book so good.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
He also shared that he works. I also said, do
you like write a notebooks? Because like Ellen Hildebrand writes
longhanded notebooks, He's like I Actually he goes because he
used to be a day trader. He goes he actually
works with three screens, so he's got the middle screen
is the manuscript, the left screen are pictures of the
scene he's describing, and the right screen are words and

(02:36):
just things about a character, whether it's like their favorite
food or their favorite perfume, and then he creates the
story out of it.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah. I just had the thought. You know, the book
club is awesome for a lot of reasons, you know, community,
meeting other people reading, encouraging reading, and learning about the
books and the author authors. But it's also good if
you're a writer, an aspiring writer, given in side, look
at the whole process.

Speaker 6 (03:01):
Well, I asked him that question, and he gave us
the most interesting answer. He said, don't start at the beginning,
start in the middle. Just start writing something that you
want to remember and start there with the process.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
And I had never heard that before.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
By the way, when is the next book club?

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Okay, well, I'm doing one in Tampa with Ellen Hildebrand
next week on the seventeenth.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
If you want to come to Tampa, We're doing to Tampa.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
Yeah, we're doing it at Birch Lane, which is another
wayfair store.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Just like joson Maine.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
So they are hosting us there and then I will
be back in Boston October sixth with Patricia Cornwell. She
is another crime thriller novelist from Boston and her new
book is called Sharp Objects. So yeah, we'll be at
the Revier Hotel.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Well, you're getting all the big writers Nunovan's book Club.
I'm just saying, Hey, Ashley's on the phone, Ashley calling
in from Weymouth. I guess just dropped off your daughter, Ashley.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
I did. Hello.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Hell Well, the jackpot is one thousand, five and forty dollars.
We're going to play the secret sound one more time
for you, Ashley. Listen, listen very carefully, Ashley, for one thousand,
five hundred and forty dollars. What is the Kiss one

(04:20):
to eight Secret Sound?

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Okay, is it.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
All right? Let's ask the judge. That is not correct, Ashley.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
That was a good guest.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah. I thought you had it, Ashley, I really did.
But the jackpot now will climb another one hundred eight dollars.
It is the Kiss one to eight Secret Sound, presented
by six one seven Injured Millions one every month on
Instagram at Injury Money.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Good guess though the tube is very small.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Kiss not that tube though, Lisa, It's not that. No,
it's not God anyway, bigger two, can we say? Can
you small please?

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Kissed one?

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Okay? I saw this story last night and I couldn't
believe it. I thought it was a joke. I thought
it was a parody. Apparently Nantucket is booming with cocaine.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
Yeah, they're blows, the neighborhood guys. So they test like sewage.
That they've done it here they used to test for COVID.
So a company went in and tested this sewage on
Nantucket Island in July. And Nantucket Island it has been
discovered they have cocaine levels fifty percent higher than any

(05:40):
other US average.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Oh, I believe it. That's so easy. This is amazing
to me. And Cold Beert was all over it last night.

Speaker 8 (05:47):
Well, there's news from Posh, New England resort island Nantucket
because a new report shows that cocaine levels and Nantucket
sewage are fifty percent above US average.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Surprise there. We all know the famous Limerick.

Speaker 8 (06:02):
There once was a man from Nantucket who bought his
cocaine by the bucket with dust up his nose.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
He said to his bros. We should be DJ's or
go skydiving. Where's my cocaine?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
So they're going to retest it in the winter to
see how much it goes down. Obviously everyone flocks the
Nantucket in the summer.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Exactly, Yeah, the non islanders.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Yeah. I feel like cocaine is a rich man's drug.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
It's it's a wealthy drug.

Speaker 9 (06:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Yeah, it makes a lot of sense for party drug.

Speaker 9 (06:31):
That's all they do on Nantucket from May to September.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
A doctor who works for an addiction solutions company on
Nantucket said, I think it's interesting that cocaine was so high,
and I was surprised that fentanyl, oh, was so low,
because fentanyl is in everything he goes.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
I thought fentanyl would be higher, but it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
It's not a rich man's drug.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
They can afford the better stuff, right, They can spend
the money to make sure that it's it's legit it Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I just like how in the New York Post they
did the whole article and then they pointed out, you know,
it's home to celebrities like Dave Portnoy and Ben Stein.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Yeah, why am I.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
In this article?

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Keep my name out of it.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
You must have a gripe there. You know what I mean? Right?
He was my name in that for God.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, So they test for all these drugs in the
sewage all around the country.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
But but for a time, I'm not true that high.
It's gonna be a lot of kochine.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
They are partying high on that island.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
It's a small place. It's not even a big island.
It's a very small town.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Homes.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
Yes, yeah, it has Yeah, it's like fourteen thousand residents.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
That's it. Billy. You spent a lot of time in
Nantucket in your life, was it? You know? Is it
a lot of partying, a lot of No.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
No, Ironically you were no unless everybody was leaving these
fancy restaurants at night and going to the homes and you.

Speaker 9 (07:55):
Bill, you're oblivious someone next You have no idea they're
doing it.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Never I don't remember a single cocaine experience or seeing
it or hearing about it or but but it's been
a while since I was waking.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
I have to tell you.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
I went over for I did a day trip with
my friends this summer and to Nantucket, and I have
to tell you, when I came back, I said it
to you guys.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
I was like, who are all these people?

Speaker 6 (08:17):
Everyone is gorgeous, everyone is rich, and they've got way
too much disposable income.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Yeah, so much money.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
I just did a one hour TV special a couple
of months ago on Nantucket. Not one time did someone
offer me a line.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Well, not in front of the camera.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Good, I mean that's good.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
By the way, that little thing called the bullet by
the way, kid, Yeah we can't.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Yeah, we're not throwing in drug using.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Just say no, you don't want to be doing cocaine. No,
if you want, Yeah, I head to Nantucket.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
I have a six o'clock reservation at Gali Beach and
I'll die wait a billion.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
Lisa, Now the entertainment update with a Billy constup.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Okay, I've got some breaking news. This is so cool
the way things happen here on the Billy and Lisa
Morning Show. As we roam the halls of iHeartRadio, Justin
came walking down the hall to me and started saying, hey,
I just learned something. You know how we talked about
Jordan Hudson, Bill Belichick's girlfriend, and earlier this morning we

(09:17):
were talking about all those things they applied for the trademarks.
They've all been turned down, although no answer yet on
gold Digger about how about this? Do you remember there
was a rumor that Jordan Hudson would be on Dancing
with the Stars. Yes, well, apparently Jordan Hudson was hired
for Dancing with the Stars and dropped out last minute.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
And that's why they picked Lauren.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Yes, yes, you remember, she said, Yeah, I only found
out two days ago.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
And when they made the announcement on their web page,
her picture was not included.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
The day they announced it, I thought it was really weird.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Where did you get this story?

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Justin I got to give a shout out to listener Danielle.
Alert listener Danielle, Thank you to you. She sent me
the screenshot on my Instagram. It is the landing page
or the you know, the show page on Disney Plus
for the premiere night which is next Tuesday, of Dancing
with the Stars. It has the full episode description, the
cast all the cast members, including Jordan Hudson is written

(10:15):
in as well. So I don't know if that's a mistake.
Obviously it's a mistake. But yeah, if you remember, Lauren
when she got announced, learned two days before.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
I actually learned that I was going to be on
the show two days ago.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Yeah, so I haven't unfortunately.

Speaker 10 (10:28):
Gotten to get in with Brandon yet, but you know,
we're gonna get there.

Speaker 6 (10:32):
But yeah, I literally texted them this morning and was like, hey, guys, just.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
So you know, so we don't know what's true or
what's not, but I am looking at the screenshot now
and it does kind of make sense. It is kind
of lining up.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Yeah, I wonder why she pulled out, and she's in
a picture right with the rest of the cast. I
think somebody said to me that they saw a picture
of the entire cast of Dancing with the Stars and
it's before Jordan dropped out.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Possible. I'm not sure what Her name is listed as
an official cast member on Disney Plus. So there you go.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
This is what is it about Jordan Jordan. I'm sorry,
Jordan Hudson. Jordan is it because she's such a ticking
bomb that everybody is drawn to her and her story
and they want her.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Well, she keeps her name in the news. She's really
good at that.

Speaker 11 (11:18):
You know.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Look at yesterday we were talking about her. She was
on the Daily Mail because she had a clear perse
on with the movie script highlighted inside that you could
clearly read.

Speaker 6 (11:26):
Yeah, she knows people are gonna like telescope in and
try and figure out what she's working on.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
I mean, she was like she was dangling out that
she was going to that baby shower that when he
went right and then she was going right.

Speaker 9 (11:40):
That's probably because we were going to tell We talked
about it before and after I went to the baby shower.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
But why would Jordan Hudson get that far into it
where she's actually been cash for Dancing with the Stars
and then drop out?

Speaker 2 (11:53):
No idea, but bad week for her or a bad
couple of weeks she dropped out or was pulled out
of Dancing with the Stars and then her trademarks didn't
go through.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Yeah, all those trade margins she and Bill applied for,
like ignore the rules.

Speaker 6 (12:07):
Well maybe she thought that if she did do Dancing
with the Stars and she was voted out very early,
that that would affect her brand.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Oh that's possible, right, Yeah, do your Job did not
get approved, Winnie.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Whinnie, do your job. I think some of the ones
they applied for that Belichick applied for they should have gotten.
I mean, do your job, even though it's owned by
the Patriots. It's a Bill Belichick thing, but they own it.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
I could say something right now and someone could go
take it, and they own it.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
I don't own no days off. That's a Belichick thing.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
They were smart enough to, you know.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
No word on gold Digger yet.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
Well, what would we do if Billy tried to trademark,
you know, going up for some boudict Oh right, like
I think iHeart owns that.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Well, I think his wife would divorce him.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Yeah, wait a minute, does iHeart own everything we said?
What they own?

Speaker 9 (12:59):
Yeah, yeah, they're gonna have it.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Okay, all right, There's so many Billy Costa ones that
we could actually this is this, We could do something
with this.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Yeah, I want to apply for trademarks. What would I trade?

Speaker 6 (13:15):
I wanted to do merch with with famous lines from
this show and sell them, like on T shirts. But
then I thought I can't because we don't own any
of them.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Oh yeah, there's so many good ones.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
The dripping flesh, that's the vision I had in my
brain of his flesh dripping down off his stove. Is
that something I want to know?

Speaker 5 (13:36):
And chop the heads off their pets.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
I'm running over the one he runs run them over there.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Yeah, parked on your face.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Now I'm parking on your face.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Now I'm parked on.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Your Wait a minute, we're onto something. These would be
good shirts and hoodies.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
I had them all lined up and then it was
not happen.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Now and big letters on the front and then on
the back will be I'm parked on your face. I
will chop their heads off their pets. I was talking
about the sales. Oh yeah, I don't think iHeart wants
ownership of any of these, So maybe we should launch them.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Maybe maybe the parked one.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Yeah, there are some good ones. Think of it all right. Meantime,
the cast of the new season of Saturday Night Live
is has been finalized, and it turns out a lot
of the regulars are coming back. All those rumors about
everybody leaving the show. Well, Bowen Yang, Keenan Thompson, Chloe Fineman,
Michael Chay, and Colin Jost all coming back for season

(14:46):
fifty one, which kicks off October fourth.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
Well maybe they maybe they were looking for a raise
after the fiftieth or like, we're not coming back unless
you give us more money.

Speaker 9 (14:56):
Yeah, I think they paid up because I kind of
heard we're thinking about leaving and they.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah, yeah, well maybe they you know, sent threats.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
I will chop the head. Well, there were some rumors
like running around that they're being paid dirt and that
they should be paid a lot more. Michaels. Yeah, so
maybe Michael's stepped up. We mentioned this earlier. Ryan Reynolds
is launching a nationwide tour with the John Candy documentary

(15:25):

in from London and he had so much to say
about his book and how it's being turned into a
TV project.

Speaker 7 (17:10):
Before the book came out, I took loads of producer meetings,
which is I thought I was going to have to
go and pitch the book, but you actually fly all
over the place and they pitch their ideas to you,
like big TV companies. And that was when I met Jenna,
but I'd also met I met with Will Smith's production company.
But this was like a week after he had slapped

(17:32):
Chris from and so I kept saying to my agent,
you know, I have to mention the slab. They were like,
don't mention the slab. And then I went to the
meeting and they mentioned the slab, but they spun it
in such a funny way. They said, really, such a
passionate guy, but sometimes the passion balls over into a slab.

Speaker 1 (17:56):

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah, I'm sorry, hold on, you're doing a book club
in Naples, you know. I happened to have a little
I know.

Speaker 6 (21:28):
Yeah, So we're going to be doing with Allen Hildebrand
again for the Academy, and we might be doing one
with Chris Whitaker and Florida as well.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Oh you're not a little book tour.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Yeah, the think about it. The writers go on a
book tour, and now you've got a book tour of
the writers, right.

Speaker 6 (21:48):
Well, they like iHeart and they like our network, and
they like what I'm doing with Lisa's Book Club.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
And they all have books that they want to borrow.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
And we have Wayfair and we.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
Have birch Lane and Johnson Maine and all modern modern
and they love our book club, but Lisa's Book Club.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
So, by the way, I think it's next week I
will be announcing another Meat to Eat with Billy. Yes,
that are all modern in Lynnfield, that's coming up in
about a week. But who else is inque Well?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
You know talking about reading. That's something you do when
you unplod.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
So Hi, they're happy Tuesday.

Speaker 11 (22:17):
I'm just getting back from a ten day vacation where
my main goal is to disconnect from the world. So
I didn't listen too much last week, but I'm catching
up on the podcast podcast now and just on to
say that you guys, in the show you've created while
being relative strangers, just brings such a sense of comfort
and familiarity to not only myself, but so many others

(22:39):
and it's just so appreciated.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
I hope you guys have a great day.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
I can't tell the listeners how much we appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
We do.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
We really, we really really do, but.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
We appreciate them yes for being there for us. So
thank you so much for kids.

Speaker 6 (22:55):
One way into the morning, wrap up on Billy and
Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
All right. Two main things you need to know from
this morning show the secret sound no Winner at seven
ten and eight ten. The jackpot one six hundred and
forty eight dollars. Your next chance to play and win
that jackpot two ten and four ten with the v
Bros And Gianna. This is a tough one, the very
first sound, and nobody has gotten it thus far, but
two o'clock you never know, so a lot of money

(23:21):
up for grabs. The other thing you need to know
is the High School Catfish show Unknown number number one
on Netflix. Everyone's talking about its spoiler alert. We did
reveal the story and who the person was and all
the details. So if you have not watched that show,
you might want to just turn down the radio for
a couple of minutes. Because everybody wanted to talk about
this show.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Hey, Dustin, it's Rachel from the Seacoast Again.

Speaker 10 (23:41):
I'm like, you absolutely sell off the couch when they
revealed that it was the mom and then burst into
tears and literally have not been able to stop thinking
about it four days since I watched. It's horrifying and
shocking and unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Really, Yeah, this monstrous.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
It's disturbing. Yeah, she's so sick.

Speaker 10 (24:10):
You know.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I always say that becoming a parent, you look at
life differently, you watch movies differently, you TV shows differently,
because you know you're now a parent and you are
in charge of children. Yeah, and this is a good example, Like,
it really hits parents like myself so hard. So U
go watch it if you have, Well, we just ruined it,
but if you still worth the watch, I'm just saying, yeah, definitely,
it's definitely worth the watch.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (24:31):
With that whole catfish thing, I just don't understand how
she would want to have a relationship with her mother.
It's just unforgivable. In my book, that changed the whole
course of her childhood. It's just not right and it's
just very upsetting.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Yeah, it's not forget she was cyber bullying her own daughter,
telling her to kill herself, that she was anorexic sexual things.
I mean, this is just a rotten woman.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Yeah, and I going to tell you somebody you told
me the outcome before I saw the show, and it
was just as mind blowing to me. Knowing the ending
did not affect what I thought about the show anyway.
