Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, good morning everybody, Welcome back to the show. Happy Friday.
Justin here Lisa, Winnie and Mikey v one third of
the v Bros. And Gianna heard every afternoon on Kiss
Want to Wait at two o'clock. Thank you for joining Mikey. Sure,
A lot of people have a lot of questions this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Where Billy.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Well, Billy is on Nantucket. He is there for the
book festival, so he's off today. And a lot of
airline news in the world today. Obviously tragically in India
there was a plane crash or two hundred and forty
people lost their lives. One survivor walked away from the crash.
And then locally, planes were grounded at Logan yesterday as
a Jet Blue flight rolled onto the grass and someone

(00:39):
we know was on one of the planes that could
not make it off, and that person was Billy. Dude,
you're there.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Well, the mush has arrived on nan is alive and
the mush made national news.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
He really did. The news follows you, Billy, wherever you go.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Me the scene when you were on the flight yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Okay, first of all, I'm on the flight and all
I know is we've been sitting on the tarmac, having
taxied away from the gate, and you know, we're sitting
there for about twenty minutes, twenty five minutes, and I
didn't know what was going on. And then my phone
rang and it was Lisa and she said, Billy, did
you make it to Nantucket? And I'm saying no, I'm
actually on the tarmac waiting to take off. I had

(01:26):
no idea what was going on. The pilot never said anything.
All he said was that they were down to one
runway and it was going to be another half hour
or something. So then Lisa tells me what happened, and
I look out the window from the plane and there's
the plane skid it off the runways and flashing lights

(01:47):
and sirens everywhere. And I said, oh my god. And
then I start checking my phone and it's all over
social media. Yeah, and I was part of it. I
was in it.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
So how long did you guys end up staying on
the tarmac?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
H hour? But what's weird is we had no idea
how long we were going to be on the tarmac.
And then you know, I started thinking, are they going
to send us back to the gate. You know, I've
got like a twelve hour visit to Nantucket. I can't
like be three hours late, right.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
And miraculously though, you made it right for the book club.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Club, book club just in time. And by the way,
I'm happy to tell you it was packed our appearance
there sold out and long line of people in line,
Winnie to get my book and my signature.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Wow. So all the people they paid showed up.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, well it was a free event. They didn't want
to spend money.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
They giveaway for dining, playbook in ness and it was
a gay Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I started them all over. I saw the pictures. It
looked like it looked great. It was you and Jenny
and her husband Rob was the host, the moderator. Right, yeah,
we had a better phone connection in Nantucket. What's going on?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Are you not hearing me?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
And he sounded better in Africa?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Well, if you had to guess, where do you think?
I am having a cup of coffee first thing in
the morning on.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
The water on the beach.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
You're at the marinas, yes, warmer, Yes, the Marina. I
came down to look at the boats. I'm standing next
to a eighty five million dollar yacht. Say hello, are
you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Wow? Wow? All right, So what's on the agenda for today.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yesterday we were all over the island. I mean all over.
We went from one Endsconsin to the other end Matticett,
and we you know, we shot it. We shot at
mister Rogers House, which is a famous place in Madicot.
They call it the Crooked House. We shot there. We
shot at a number of different restaurants. We shot all
over town, the dream Land Theater. And this morning I

(03:55):
think we start shooting at ten o'clock. We're gonna shoot
out at Brandt Point at least, you know Brandt Point.
I do and uh and a couple of probably crew
here on the marina, and uh, some downtown shots.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
Maybe do some shopping, Okay, okay, do some shopping to town.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
I told you go to town Pool. That's like a
fun little spot.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Okay, you want to hear a funny story. So I
grabbed a cup of coffee and I'm walking down to
the docks and these two people taught me and they said,
oh my god, Billy Cofa And I said yeah, well,
and they had a bunch of boxes with them, and
the guy says, yeah, I'm Billy FLUTEI it was Doug
Flutie's nephew.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah, I played high school football against him. Really nice kid.
He's a couple of kids now too.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
H yeah, he's very tall.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, tall guy.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
But here's the funny part, well not funny, but the
interesting part. How are you yeah? Free? Karen read? Then
one of the people down there on oh yeah something.
People are here. So anyway, they have these boxes with

(05:06):
them and they're transporting medical supplies. The boxes were filled
with organ implants who liked transport people. Billy, what's like
kidneys and livers? Yeah? Right next to me.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Wow, they is carrying my cardboard boxes. It seems a
little sketchy.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Market, I thought that. But for the most part there
were plastic boxes and and to be like up skill Tupperware.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Okay, that's the same place where just gets his workouts from. Well, Billy,
I know you're going to miss the.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Little wraps, the same stuff to come in in the morning.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Bill, I know you're going to miss the little wrap
ups that I do. So I just want to give
you one little piece that you missed this morning if
you would like to know. Well, you know how we
talked a lot about Mikey's surgery, his nose surgery.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Oh yes, I had a lot of questions.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yeah, what we did too. We got to the bottom
of it, and turns out he did get a nose job.
You just go past the whole story and just go
to the end here and potatoes.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
My wife Michelle and I were talking and Michelle said, well,
you know the dated Septimus code for nose jobs.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I had that as well, and I had the DBA
except from surgery and why they're in there maybe, yeah,
they straightened out a few thinks.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
I'll covered.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Well, let's face it, Mikey, he had a huge honker.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Not anymore.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
I really hope you don't get time back home enough
to give somebody else a full load.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
You know what, maybe in that cardboard box, Yeah, that's
Mikey's nose could be Oh all right, Billy, Well, we
miss you, we love you.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I miss you, guys. Happy Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Happy Father's Day, bell, Oh thank you.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
And by the way, blue skies on Nantucket.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Round Oh awesome, not so much here, not so much.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Hopefully you get home safe. You're flying on Friday the thirteenth.
I don't like that for you.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Oh okay, I actually am flying home on Friday the thirteenth, Mikey,
take care of that, honker.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
And by the way, Bill, she's only when he's only
saying that because she hopes she's in the will. I'm
just saying, I don't know if he's finished. Pay your work.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Yeah, I gotta wait.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
And you're not even kidding, Mike.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
We'll see him Monday.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Have fun, all right, gull you, Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Good morning, everybody. Happy Friday the thirteenth. It's the Billy
and Lisa Show. Justin Lisa, Winnie and Mikey v and
for Billy Costa watching Karen Reid walk into the courtroom
now with her team. This thing's coming to a close.
The Jerry will get the verdict this afternoon.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
At nine o'clock. Closing arguments.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, I know, we move generally what we think, not
guilty or guilty or mistrial. I think we all agree
on mistrial. We think right, I think so yeah, Mikey,
what do you think? I think it's gonna be mistrial too.
It's just so hard to not be at this point.
But I'm not also like overly educated. I'm not uh
not like a lawyer, So I don't know. I don't
think you have to beat it really I mean, there's

(08:18):
just so many pieces of this thing. Yeah, so we'll
be all over it of course. And Cap by the way,
Captain Loftus, who are attorney expert, we've had on There
was a ton of content on the Kiss Instagram, a
ton a ton. We just had Billy Costa on from Nantucket.
He was with the Karen Read people there.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
But here's the funny part, well not funny, but the
interesting part. How are you free Karen Read?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Okay, they're everywhere walking around, are Yeah? So go to
the Kiss Instagram when he put up so many videos.
If you're like Mikey and haven't been following along, you
can scroll down throughout this whole retrial and watch all
the videos every week that we recap. To be honest,
you guys that wanted to keep me caught up on it.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
It's really it really is a good way to just yeah.
And by the way, speaking of the Kiss Instagram, a
couple of minutes ago, we had Benson Boone. We're giving
out passes to hear his album first before anybody else.
His new album comes out next Friday. So if you
go to the Kiss Instagram the pin post, you can
enter it. It's free. You just enter and you and
a friend could come in, hear the album, get some
Benson merch and walk away with some Benton tickets for

(09:20):
a sold out show. That's a big ticket too to
his show. Yeah, he's such a good performer. A lot
of good a lot of good stuff on the Kiss Instagram.
I'm just saying.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
In the morning, all right, I love that.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Oh it's the best on Friday. And that's a little
gray out there today, but anyway, welcome back. Billy and
Lisa showed Billy Billy justin Lisa, Winnie and Mikey v.
Billy is not here, We'll be back on Monday. He
is on Nantucket and Lisa and I were just out
in the hallway talking about Lisa's book Club all the
exciting things that are happening with that team Sama.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
At Boston Harvard now is an amazing spectacle and spectacle event.
Last night and bumped into the ninety sellers Wine team
and we had a great conversation about Lisa's book Club. Lisa,
they love you so much, and they told me I
was crazy for having never been to one of your events.
So now I'm going to have to try to get tickets.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Great weekend, guys, that's amazing. Ninety plus sellers.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Well, when's the next event, Lisa?

Speaker 5 (10:21):
Okay, So it's July seventeenth.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
It's at the Mandarin Hotel in Boston with doctor Nick
Peric and he's a celebrity dermatologist, and we have amazing
things happening at this book club. We will be posting
the link on Tuesday and then my next book club
after that will be a Big Night Live with Jody Pico.
And remember we did a Mel Robbins event there, so

(10:44):
we will have over one thousand people for Jody Pico.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
She sold over forty million books. She's from New Hampshire.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Huge. Now, Mikey, I know you probably haven't read a
book since you were eight, but come one of the events. Yeah,
I need to come to one from there. I feel
like Lisa is like the Boston Taylor Swift. Everyone sells
out seconds.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
It's fun. You should come to the August twenty eighth one,
the Jody Pico one.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
It's gonna be great. The one you do in Burlington's
right near my house and you go to one of those, Oh,
jos May, yeah there are partners. Yeah I don't Yeah,
maybe you can start reading too. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
Now the entertainment update with a Billy consta. Okay, big
shoes to fella. That's right. Billy is not here.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
He's on Nantucket four at the Nantucket Book Festival. Because Billy,
among other things, is an author a cookbook.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Us that loosely, well, I us well the MILLI Vanilly
like joke. It's hilarious.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
I actually told my boys that last night, and they
were like, they thought it was so funny. But we
love Billy and we're so proud of him. We're going
to start off with sports. I know the pink hat here.
The New England Patriots announced yesterday that they plan to
unveil a Tom Brady bronze statue at Julette August eight.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
It is the honor of my life to.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Be officially enshlined. It's the winning legacy of this amazing organization.
I am Tom Brady and I am a Patriot.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
I have the chills, I too.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
I almost have tears in the eyes.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
You guys, yeah, you get you all hyped up.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
I love him, he does, and I love that he's
like all in.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
It's the first statue ever at Gillette, so it's appropriate
and They're going to be playing the Commanders for that
preseason game, so we should all head down there and
hopefully we'll see Tom Brady. The Oilers were in Florida
last night for the Stanley Cup Finals and they tied
it up to two in overtime.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
We have a blue show back Get his Own Zone
now with that hole.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
Drive titles.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Love it.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
I still hope Florida wins. Yep, Florida, Come on. Game
five is tomorrow night back in Edmonton. It starts at eight.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
So Taylor and Travis were at the Stanley Cup game
last night in Florida. They were sitting with Rayne Gretzky
chatting him up.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
But I don't know.

Speaker 8 (13:00):
The rumors have been swirling all day and she is here,
Taylor Swift along with NFL Titan Travis Kelsey taking in
Game four between two teams who you could say, Kenny
have a lot of bad blood.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
Okay, they're still saying that they're secretly married, so I
don't know.

Speaker 6 (13:16):
I think if they were, TMZ would have already had
the wedding certificate pulled up.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Yeah, I feels like a hard thing to hide. I'm
going to say no on that. Yeah, but soon maybe.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Yeah, they're just having the time of their lives. Yeah,
showing up at weddings in Tennessee. They don't like hockey
fan like I don't want to go out.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, I believe Travis was a hockey player. Really, I
can see the double check that, but I think him
and his brother Jason were hockey players. They would be
scary on ice skates. I would not want to get
in their way in ice.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
Well, I mean it adds what like three or four
inches to your heights, like seven feet tall, big guy.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
The oiler.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
Connor McDavid was there after the game and he had
something to say about.

Speaker 9 (13:54):
Show out to Taylor Swift for pulling up like this
was her love story. But tonight wasn't a fairy tale.
You showed up just like the Super Bowl, your team choked.
Maybe next time just stick to concerts. Travis Kelcey couldn't
save the Chiefs and now you couldn't save Florida. You
know that Swift curse is real, and honestly, thank you
for bringing it. And hey, I know you just dropped.

(14:16):
I can do it with a broken heart last year,
but you know, but after that blown three to zero lead,
pretty sure it's the Panthers, Who'll be singing that all
the way to Cancun.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
That was Ai Connordavid. Yeah, it kind of like ye,
like in the beginning we thought.

Speaker 9 (14:30):
It was real.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Justin and I this morning, Oh I heard the first
few seconds. I'm like, this is incredible, and then you
realize halfway through it and almost on too far, Like
at first you had me yeah, like the one quick
load joke when he kept going like, okay, it's not real.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
Crazy.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
By the way, Travis and Jason both played hockey as
kids and they are avid hockey fans. Love it.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
That is so cool. The New Kids on the Block
were on gm A yesterday morning.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
We caught it live, but they had something to say
about their Vegas residency.

Speaker 10 (14:57):
Well, it's all the bills and whistles of Las ve Vegas.
You know, we're we're pulling out all the stops. It's
really the show of a lifetime. We're getting to do
all the dreams we had since we were teenagers. It's
gonna be great, all right.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
So they'll be there next week in June, then in November,
and then in February of twenty twenty six.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
But has Billy heard from so Billy claims that that, uh.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
What's his Donnie Wahlberg, No, not don Joey.

Speaker 6 (15:20):
Joey did message him back, apologizing for missing his text message,
but he has showed nothing from Donnie.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Donnie ghosted him.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Oh, I'm kidding.

Speaker 6 (15:29):
I'm convinced because Mark's I mean, Mark's now been Billy's
little bestie.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
I think there's some like Sibilinator.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Well, Mikey, Billy asked Mark to the forward forward for
his book, Okay, not Donnie, So we were pretty we
think maybe that's why family, because.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
There's definitely something going on because they always get back
to him, like immediately.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
Yeah, he tried calling Donnie.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Blocked.

Speaker 6 (15:58):
I don't I don't know, because there was a time
where Donnie was the only one that was literally he
didn't really talk to Mark. He didn't have Mark's number
because Mark didn't really you know, Mark had issued with
people on the show that weren't Billy, so.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
He kind of all in with Billy.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Yeah, now he's all back, all back.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
We talk a lot about a Shanty on this show
when he has strong feelings about a Shanty and her
talent and how it relates to j Lo. But there's
a new show on Peacock. It's Nelly and a Shanty.
We belong together.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
I'm a wee bit dramatic.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
In the beginning, we were still finding where we were going.

Speaker 11 (16:37):
We would together off and on for eleven years before
the final.

Speaker 12 (16:44):
I hated him.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
I didn't think that we would get back together. He
wanted to get got.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
No, he got got, he got got.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
I have a baby.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Somebody get lines in that little trailer.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Honestly, I watched the whole Triller. It looks like a
really good show.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
I believe it.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Yeah, she's so nice, it's so pretty. Every time she's
ever been in here, we've like, oh my god.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
We love a Chante. It starts June twenty six. If
you want to check that out.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Do a.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Liipa is engaged. We love du Alipa Callum Turner. He's
a I think he's a movie producer. And the thing
I love most about this story is that he asked
her best friends and her sister.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
To help design the ring.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
I love that, like getting the whole group involved. So
congratulations to them. And the Grammys have two new categories.
They're going to be February first, but the first category
is Best Traditional Country Album, and then the second category
they've added is best Album Cover.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
What do you guys think, Oh oh wait, I have
something about the country. Do you think they added that
because of all the you know, Beyonces and postmodel Yeah,
country albums. There's so many artists now that having a
leaning country or almost like a pop country mix.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
Yeah, they're gonna do like contemporary country and then tradition
country instead.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
So you can't just make a country album as a
pop star win Best Country Album of the Year. Basically, well, I.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
Feel like a country has become so poppy. Like our
bulls down this hall. They play very poppy country, like
a shaboozy song, and it's great music, but it's not
the like you know, honky Tonk Willie Nelson country.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Or you can think about the Morgan Valentain mcray song
that we play here in Kiss. Yeah, right in that.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
I think it deserves two categories because it really is
come its own genre of this.

Speaker 5 (18:30):
It has all right, So best album cover.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
We were just talking about this yesterday with the Sabrina
Carpenter album cover Man's Best Friend, where she's on all
fours and you know, little funny little thing there.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
I love the cover.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
I think it's amazing. But we were talking, like, what's
our favorite album cover?

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Do you pay attention to them anymore?

Speaker 5 (18:48):
I don't, But that's why this is so weird.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
I mean, of all time, mine is Nirvana. It's the
most iconic, the baby floating in the pool. I'll I
think of an album cover the think of the ones
from back.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
In the day, the Beatles, the Abbey Road one, which
is so cool.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
See, I grew up on Malania.

Speaker 6 (19:03):
Also, I grew up on boy band, so it was
normally just you know, the three Jonas posing.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
There wasn't anything like really great about to recover.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
You know, talk about like the original boy band member
Hanson Brothers. Yeah, yeah, I somehow remember that album cover.
I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Really.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
I loved the Taylor Swift nineteen eighty nine polaroid cover.
I actually have that on a T shirt and I
wore it to the Ararastur. Loved it, loved it, loved it,
loved it.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
We have new music. It's new music Friday, right justin.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Yeah, Chris Brown has a new single out it. It
sounds a little bit on the pop side. It's called
Holy Blindfold that has a little vintage to it.

Speaker 12 (19:37):
To us.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
It's giving like mid two thousands Chris Brown. Yeah, when
he was like really on pop radio.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Yeah, he'll be here at Fenway in August August twenty.
Great performer, it's a great Have you seen him? Yeah,
such a good show.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Yeah. And he's out of jail too, right See they got.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Him out.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Something crazy eight million.

Speaker 6 (19:57):
I think he gave it, like my God loved in
so he can go on tour, because think how much
money he would have lost if he missed any of
miss storage.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
So he had a bunch of Europe before he comes
to good Thing.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Justin's bail is never eight millions in there. I sat
for I think three months on one hundred dollars bail. Once.
I kept going for bail, be able to get it lowered,
and finally got to one hundred dollars and the judge
looked at me and he was literally goes, does nobody
love you?

Speaker 3 (20:21):
You know what that is?

Speaker 5 (20:22):
That's tough love it is, and look at you now.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
I'll never forget though, is it tough lover? A lack
of love them?

Speaker 2 (20:28):
I think it was the bail amount. So many times
they were like, we can't do it.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
I'd call my dad.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
And this hour's entertainment report is brought to you by
one of my most favorite restaurants, the ninety nine. This
Father's Day weekend, head to the ninety nine for a
great lineup of many specials Dad will absolutely love, like
the new bourbon onion burger which sounds delicious, a juicy
eight ounce t bone steak, or their famous colossal lobster rolls.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
You gotta love the nines And there you go.

Speaker 8 (20:59):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios, we're back
with a Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
In the morning on Kiss all right, so we're back.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Good morning everybody. It's the Billy and Lisa Show. I'm
justin Lisa, Winnie and Mikey v in for Billy. Welcome
back to the Final Hour and Big News, kicking off
Monday morning at eight ten billion. Lisa's match game.

Speaker 12 (21:19):
Is back Kiss one Away. You're killing it every morning
I'm listening to the match game.

Speaker 11 (21:24):
I'm not called twenty five yet, but i will say
this is very entertaining and it's got me hooked to
listening every single day.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
But Lise, it's not just the match game, oh No,
it's the mega match game that we are starting this
Monday at eight to ten on this show.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Huge, huge, so we're making it even bigger. This is
part of the Best Summer Ever, which of course is
driven by Jeep and it's Mega Lease because we've pretty
much doubled the prizes we have.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
And there's something for everyone. So if you're like a
concert goer, we've got the hottest shows. We've got four
tickets to jingle Ball. That's crazy, that's done. That jingle
Ball sells out in minutes. So you've got four tickets
to Drink a Ball. You've got Morgan Wallin and Gillette.
You've got the Jonas Brothers, Tate McCray, Benson Boone which
sold out in seconds.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Yeah, all the biggest shows are on this. I'm looking
at the list now, every single big show is on this,
this match game list, as well as flyaways. That looks
really cool to go see somebody another city. Yes, yeah,
so Gracie Abrams obviously doing the TV Garden the summer
two shows one person. If they get a match on
the Mega match Board, we'll see Gracie in La will
fly you out and also here in Boston.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Now we've done the match game several times in the past,
we've given away flyaways. Remember we gave away the Tate
McCray flyawaylle it's you, Christy, it's you. Yes, she want
to fly away. We give away a trip to the Azores.
I mean it was last time. Okay, okay, number three.

(22:50):
Oh you're in a hurry to go to Portugal number three. Yeah.
This thing is crazy crazy.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
In addition to the fly ways, we've got a thousand
dollars visa gift card.

Speaker 6 (23:03):
Oh that would pay off my credit I just pay
my credit card. Bals, one thousand dollars are going to
use that?

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Guess now when he's going to quit a job to
play the match game.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Might be more lucrative.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
All of a sudden become Amanda. I predict that's going
to be one of the hot prizes. Oh yeah, that's
one thousand bucks. And then summer yeah yeah. And then
if you're a fan of movies going to the movies
showcase cinemas, how about a year's worth of free movie
that's insane.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
That's huge.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
That's one of the prizes as well. There's so much,
so many good ones. Oh my god, and this thing
is going to get heated.

Speaker 12 (23:37):
Listener Lisa here, I have a requirement for the match game.
You should be playing along. You should know what numbers
have been picked, because you're ruining it for the rest
of us. Because now I know two prizes that have
been revealed, and I am going to get through tomorrow
and win one of those prizes. So if you don't know,

(23:59):
don't call.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
I don't like that thought process. I think if you
want to try, there's luck of the draw. You could
randomly pick it and win. And then if I'm playing along,
I want you to lose because I.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Want to win. Why would I want you to win.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
That's actually a positive way to think about it, which
never happens with you winning. That's weird.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
And now it's a positive Friday.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
I guess. So now that's the mega match game too.
Even if you don't play long and you get the
wild card, yep, you still it's a whole new, whole
new game. It's gonna be so exciting like that, like
this whole running of Mike. I'm glad you brought that up.
I almost forgot about the wild gathing. That's so cool
in the match game. So now there's like a wild card.
Is that we're calling it two wild spaces. So if

(24:40):
you land them that you automatically get whatever the.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
Other number is, match with your other with your other choice,
and on.

Speaker 6 (24:47):
The off chance you get two wild spaces, it will
be hard. Because there's fifty spaces. You can pick any
price that you want that's left.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Yeah, that's crazy, don't take it, could happens. One thousand bucks,
don't take. One thousand dollars is off limits. There is
a night out with the v bros on here, here
we go. It's always a good time.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
The Booby prize. I actually looked at the list and
it was honestly one of the worst prices.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
How you look at it, how you look at it, Well,
it was an incident the last time with the v bros.
A night out. Do you remember this, Mikey, the incident. Yeah,
oh they had a lot of fun. Well no, no, no,
not at the night out itself, but giving away the prize.
I ended up where you know, that was one of
the prizes that was left. And then the girl that
called didn't want the prize. Yeah, okay, are you going

(25:34):
for the match? You just want to walk away?

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Just give it up?

Speaker 1 (25:41):
A less I get. But the person that did win
had a great time.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Bike's a great time host.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
I threw all of of the birthday parties before she
was when I had no money. All right, take it easy, Winny.
So this kicks off Monday morning. Billy and lisays mega
match game and and it's three times a day, not
just in the morning. It's gonna be eight ten with us,
twelve ten with McKay. We're throwing them a bone good Friday.

(26:14):
So yeah, Monday morning at eight ten is when it
kicks out. This is gonna be a big deal. I'm
looking forward to it.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Billy and Lisa on the morning walk.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Back, leftover, it's coming your way. Thank you to everybody
who joined the show this morning. You can leave a
talk back at any time of the day. You do
it on the iHeartRadio app, which you can download for free.
It's free to leave a talkback. Just tap a little
microphone button and you listen to us kiss one to wait.

Speaker 13 (26:35):
Hello, it's the mayor again, Mikey. I just want to
tell you you did a great job and you sound
very sexy. And you know this Friday the thirteenth thing,
it's a myth. I just bought a scratchy and I
won one hundred dollars and I'm off to get my
Shawn Mendoes tickets.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Happy bride running from the police. The background.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
Is his lucky Day.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Are you familiar with the mayor of the South then yeah,
through you guys, but yes, who isn't I feel like
legend in Boston now because of the Billion and Lisa Show.
He's our resident gay if you will, maybe good.

Speaker 14 (27:11):
Morning morning crew. So I am currently living in Santoia, Texas.
I'm opicially from Chelsea, and I am driving four hours
to get to the beach, four hours back. At moments
you get to New York, you cross different state lives here. No,
it's just to get to the beach. Thank you for

(27:32):
giving me company this morning. I love you guys.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
You know that's crazy. He's driving four hours to get
to a beach.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
Texas is a big state, a big state.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
So I drove from Dallas to Austin. It was like
four hours.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Yeah, but ask him how much his rent is or
what his house cost and maybe be worth the four
hour drive.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Don't even get me started.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
He probably has a mansion down there. Yeah, yeah, crazy,
but yeah, look he has us on for his road
trip on the iHeart app, which we appreciate. Okay, guys,
I took you up to Maine a Katia National Park.
It's beautiful, Katie of Park's beautiful. Yeah, I love Maine
to you. Guys are everywhere, huh Main, We're big at Maine.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
They love us in Maine. We should just be syndicated
in Maine.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
They alway do it anyways. Exact we're syndicated, Mikey, but
we don't get paid for it. Every day we get
talk backs some people all around the world, all around
the country, all these loopholes radio app there you go.
They're listening everywhere, even in Quinsy.

Speaker 12 (28:29):
Quinsy is having its Flag Day Prairie tomorrow, Quinsy's four
hundredth anniversary.

Speaker 5 (28:35):
Hopefully the rain will hold off. Yeah, flag days everywhere,
having a big parade.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
My mom loves flag Day. We also watched the fireworks,
the fireworks and Quindy for Flag Day.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
That's why that's cool.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
Love a parade, I mean, that's your hometown. You can
try to sound a little excited.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
Listen, anyone, I'm die hard Quinny lover. We all know
that I just can't afford to live there, but I
love Quincy's.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
Doing such a great job with their four hundredths too.
See the amazing events Darius r.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Yes, he is doing is doing their events.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
Like seconds, and they had Ellen Hildebrand and they've had
some great Dennis Lane they have.

Speaker 9 (29:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Okay, are you resentful that you can't afford a place there?

Speaker 3 (29:13):
No?

Speaker 2 (29:14):
No, I love Quincy. Quinsy is my favorite place. M
Quinsey girl through and through. Okay, it was like four
hundreds cheaper for an apartment.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
Much kids, It's the morning wrap up on Billy and
Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
All right, Well, Lisa, I think we did okay today
not having Billy.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
Yep, we held it down.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
Well, you did everything you did, the traffic, the weather,
the news, the entertainment and all your normal talking.

Speaker 13 (29:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Yeah, you need a nap, Yeah, I really do.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Yeah, but it was Billy was off today. He's in Nantucket.
He is at the book festival. He'll be back on Monday.
But he did call in because you know, we had
some airline news. He was stuck on the tarmac at
Logan almost did not make it to Nantucket. So we
called in about that and he was accosted by Karen
Reid supporter.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Here's the funny part. Well, not twenty. But the interesting part,
how are you yeah free? Karen Reid? Okay?

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Which is so funny because when he had just posted
a video on the Kiss Instagram about the pink people,
the people and it's ending today, the jury's gonna get
the case today.

Speaker 5 (30:27):
Well, we were saying, like, you don't really see many
of them.

Speaker 9 (30:29):
No.

Speaker 5 (30:29):
The ironic thing is that they were like following Billy arout.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
They're on Nantucket like this bill. So we'll be following
the case of course as it all unfolds. Also this morning,
we had a good topic, what's the greatest lie you've
ever told? Or been told?

Speaker 11 (30:44):
The biggest lie I've ever been told? My ex and
I broke up, and for about a year he was
begging me back, telling me all of the things he
was going to do to show me and my family
he's changed. He was looking at houses and sending them
to me, all for me to find out that for

(31:04):
the year, in the entire time, he had a girlfriend
and that she was about five months pregnant.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Oh, that's quite the quite the lie development, quite the line.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
That's quite the lie.

Speaker 6 (31:17):
Funny when someone tries to plan a new life with
someone already have a life somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
Yeah, that sounds familiar, like that happens when we know
it's so weird that to lose there. Yeah? Wow, wait
is this my wife?

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Right? Here's why?

Speaker 7 (31:31):
No, I didn't order anything off Amazon.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Every day there's more and more box I think we
can all really every single day. And then we're on
my son's baseball game last night, and during one of
the you know, in between innings, I look down and
I watched her order like six things on Amazon.

Speaker 13 (31:49):
You know, but what it is?

Speaker 6 (31:50):
Wait, okay, watching an eight year old played baseball. I'd
rather be shopping on Amazon too.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Yeah, it was in between innings, I will say that.
And then all so we've been talking about it yesterday
and today. The Mega match Game is back Monday morning
at eight ten. It's the match game, but now it's
Mega yep with billion. Lie's a Monday eight ten.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Good morning, guys.

Speaker 11 (32:10):
I have one question about the match game.

Speaker 14 (32:14):
How many squares are there?

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Have you announced that?

Speaker 1 (32:18):
I'm just curious how many matches there are on the matchboard?

Speaker 3 (32:22):
So thank you.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
So there are twenty four prizes, right, so there's forty
eight squares plus two wild wild space is so fifty
in total Wow.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
That's why it's mega. Yep. We've never done a match
game with this many prizes and some of these are amazing, right,
Let trips, concerts.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
One thousand dollars visa card, You've got four jingle Ball tickets,
a flyway to see Gracie Abrams in La and here
at the Garden.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Two nights it's Muggler's Notch.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (32:49):
Good Night at Encore Yep, I'll get.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
It's basically tickets, experiences, money.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
There's money, something for everybody.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
It's something for everybody. And don't sleep on these jingle
ball tickets. Oh, because I know it's summertime now, we're
not thinking about December, but come October we announced, you know,
end of September. October through December. That's all anybody wants.
It's gonna sell out a media and that's money.

Speaker 6 (33:10):
You can put it for Christ's presence instead of for
jingle ball tickets. Because people at that time of year
are trying to figure out where they want to put
their money. And you don't figure it out.

Speaker 5 (33:17):
Everyone wants to go to jingle great point.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Great point. So Monday morning, a ten billion Lisa's Mega
match game begins. All right, catch up on the podcast.
Do it this weekend. The Weather's Gonna Suck You find
it on the iHeartRadio app. Just search Billy and Lisa
in the morning and also make a number one preset

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Happy Father's say, Dad, love you.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
Happy Father's Day to my daddy.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
Oh Bill, Happy Father's Day to him. We're gonna get
out of here. I have a great day and a
great weekend. The Mighty McCabe is coming up next, and
enjoy
