The latest from the tragic fire at an assisted living

facility in Fall River. A tenth victim now has died. Yesterday.
Incredible bodycam footage was released from the night of the
fire showing first responders and they're heroic actions. Other stories,
still no deals in the trash workers' strike that continues
to stink up more than a dozen cities and towns

in Massachusetts. Governor Healy calling the strike a major problem
and a health crisis. The affected cities and towns are
mostly on the North Shore. Other stories. Two dogs are dead.
Two women in Bridgewater charged with animal cruelty after the
two dogs were left in a sweltering car in the
middle of an extreme heat wave.

Car was not running, windows were closed, there was no
water available in the vehicle. They took both of the
dogs out of the car. They posed them down and
tried to revive the dogs.

But they were deceased and in Washington, Congress now has
approved more than nine billion in DOGE cuts. Those cuts
include funds for foreign aid programs and funding for NPR
and PBS, and apparently they're not done cutting.

We're going to downsize the scope of government. Government is
too large, it does too many things, and it does
almost nothing well. We believe in a limited government that's
accountable and efficient and effective for the people, and we're
going to continue to demonstrate that through actions here on
the floor.

what their priority is.
