Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now this morning show in Boston, Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It's just a great start to my day on Kids Runaway.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Hey, guys, welcome in to the Billy and Lisa Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
And I want to give you caution.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
There's something you're gonna hear all day today, and that's
gonna be hot.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It's hot, record breaking heat today all day, record breaking.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
Hey, hot enough for him? Okay, it's hot, huh. Yeah,
it's gonna be Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
And you know, Lisa brought up a good question off
the air a couple of minutes ago. Listen, it's gonna
be very hot, possibly record breaking heat one hundred degrees
at least today in the Boston area. Right, But as
grown adults, do we need to be told to drink water?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
To make sure you drink a lot of water hydrate?

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Yeah, isn't that something you're gonna do anyway?

Speaker 5 (00:56):
I think, Billy, there's people out there that never drink water.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Really yeah, a hundred degrees.

Speaker 6 (01:01):
No, I think they drink like other drinks. But they're
like I like these water like you're a weird water.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
But also older people again, maybe that's for them.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I mean, that's to suggest that they would go on
a safari in the desert without water, like it's going
to be safari like it really.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Well, they're they're not drinking enough fluids. Yeah, you have
to drink a good amount because you're sweating. Yeah, under
staying that.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I like the other tip I saw this morning on
local TV, and it's don't let your dogs walk on
the pavement.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Well, it's going to be one hundred and thirty degrees
on the pavement.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
But if you have an eighty pound dog, are you're
going to carry it to the grass?

Speaker 7 (01:43):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
No, you have to take the dog out to go
to the bathroom. And if you live in the city, right.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Yeah, yesterday very quickly.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
My I have grass where I live, but also pavements,
So I just had my dog on the pavement for
like two seconds to get into the grass.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Yeah, because their paws gets hot.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Just be mindful of it today.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Yeah, I mean it's common sense from those people. But
let's be real. Like people leave pets in their eye,
they leave children, yeah, yea, make sure so it's a
good remind Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
I mean, you leave someone or a pet in a car.
In just a couple of minutes, the car can go
to one hundred and thirty degrees, so yeah, just pay
attention today. Yeah, you don't pay attention. It's going to
be very hot, and watch out for any symptom.

Speaker 8 (02:19):
Symptoms of heat stroke include fever, irritability, dry hot, red skin, confusion,
bizarre behavior, no longer sweating.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Is that you have all of that at once?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Really?

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Yeah? You don't want heat stroke?

Speaker 9 (02:37):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Yeah? Oh no, no, you collapse, you know, yeah, you
collapse to the ground and then everything else hits you.
So yeah, be careful. It's going to be very hot,
record breaking heat today. And you know what else is
very cool about today? Justin is seventeen years sober today, mom.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Man, thank you Bill?

Speaker 7 (03:00):
Hey, justin Tuesday, June the twenty fourth, if I'm not mistaken,
that marks seventeen years of sobriety for you, seventeen years
in recovery. I just wanted to say congratulations, here's to
fifty more years of these milestones, and just all the
best to you and your family.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Just think seventeen years ago I would have robbed a Bill.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Oh yeah, there are actual people that work in this
building that you did.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Rob Okay, well that's what one person, one person? Is
he serious?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (03:33):
There's one new girl and sales around the same age,
and he robbed her dad's or something like that.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I remember that.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Yeah, fire every day. I guys can't do that.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
I don't think we're saying her name.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
She's a blond lady.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
She put her microphone. The microphone.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I'm not saying her name.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
It's another thing that can only happen here.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
By the way.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
By the way, I will say that I was convicted
of that crime and I served one year in prison. Wow, really,
I don't know that I did. Was it armed?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
How much did you get?

Speaker 4 (04:12):
I got a bag of potato chips and trashed tickets?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
And you wait a second, and you spent a year
in jail for that?

Speaker 9 (04:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:18):
U he was armed? No, I was not armed. Did
you have a note? No, they were closed. I worked
in the base, so you didn't walk up and hand.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
And you're not even that cool broad daylight like come on, well,
you know, so he was hungry.

Speaker 10 (04:36):
I said so many things to celebrate that you're out
of the camp. Yeah, seventeen years.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Seventy years, that's that's a big that's a big number.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Now the person that works, she knows, does she feel
safe aroundn't you yeah, yeah, yeah, we're on good ye.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
The funny thing is she's on the account manager of
the Power of Recovery.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
The justice has it comes full start.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I have to go home. I cannot do the show today.
I have the day you can change.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
She saw it happen.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Wow, right now, she is awesome. You know what that's
that's a full circle moment.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah. Shout out to her and shout out to Power
of Recovery. By the way, if you are struggling, Power
of Recovery dot org, it starts what starts with one
day and it could turn to seventeen years.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Yes, Bill, single moment that just happened the last three
minutes or so instantly goes to my top three of
all time career.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Yeah, just fascinating stuff. It's an interesting one. Worse right
outside the studio. Yeah, you walk a year in prison. Robe.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
She doesn't hold a grudge, right well, you want to, Well,
now that we're talking about her brother actually beat me
up because.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Of the care we go, rightfully, so he was defending
his family's. Of course, the door is still there today.
They closed. There wasn't right up. There was a write
up in the local paper, you know, that I got
arrested and said they found me in the basement eating potato.

Speaker 10 (06:19):
Chips and speak again.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
I didn't leave. They had to place surrounded.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Did you make any money on the scratch tickets?

Speaker 9 (06:25):
No?

Speaker 4 (06:25):
No, no, I was just scratching them. Yeah. Oh, you
took like a whole roll. Took the whole roll.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
Got nothing.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Well, we went to exit the premises and they had
the place surrounded.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Now, when you staked out the place and knew you
were going to Robin, did you know what you were
going for.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
We were going to chips priority. No, that was a
final thought on the way out.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Yeah, okay, Cape Cod chips or something rich ship there
were son chips.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
He said, you accomplish what happened to him? Two of
us got arrested. Yeah, I think I think he's in
the cans still for various others. Wow, that is just chips,
you know, I want to pick the French onion sun chips.

(07:20):
Something to write home.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Okay, So, for regular listeners to the billion Lisa Morning Show,
what you just witnessed was a billion Lise Morning Show
Hall of Fame moment.

Speaker 10 (07:31):
It's going to make the end of year top three
right easily.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Well, I love the story and it's great to laugh.
But I do want to, you know, of course, say
that anybody can do it. Anybody can say, yeah, get
clean and live a better life. I work on Kiss
want to Wait, my dream job, and I used to
be in jail, so well, you know, just it's never.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Too late, right Yeah. From the Planet Fitness, Kiss one
Away Studios, We're back with the Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Kiss and Lisa. You've got a big book club announcement.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
We do July seventeenth. I just posted the link. It's
at the Mandarin Hotel. We've never done an event at
the Mandarin. It's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
It's beautiful hotel.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Doctor Para Cone and he has a book out called
The Beauty Molecule. So he's a celebrity dermatologist. He lives
out in la He has roots here in Boston. But yeah,
so he will be talking about everything you should be
doing for your skin. And he came out with the
Paricne principle you know of product line years ago that
I'm telling you this guy is legendary. He will be

(08:32):
joining us July seventeenth. The link is on my story
Kiss one Awaitt. It's also on Kiss oneawaight dot com,
Lisa's book club dot com, Lisa Donovan one oh eight
limited seating, and if you purchase his book at the event,
you get a three hundred and fifty dollars skincare WOA
gift and it's all of the products and there are

(08:53):
large size products.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
So they got to move fast because this is every
single event has sold out so far, every single book
club exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
So you know it's at the Mandarins. We want to
thank them for hosting us. We want to think ninety
plus sellers again. Dental Partners of Boston, dig Our Wealth Management,
Joson Maine, all of our sponsors. But yeah, this will
be really fun.

Speaker 10 (09:11):
By the way, the Mandarin has one of the best
spas in America.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Well, that's that's why we're doing it there because of
his product line. Just saying you took from that now,
but he's right, yeah, now, but I'm glad that he's
mentioned that because that's one of the reasons why we're
doing it there is because of the product line. And
the spotologist and the spa director is going to join
us on stage and talk a little bit about the media.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
I take it you go about the skin. You and
I have a coat of armor that protects our bodies
from the outside world. It's our skin. We wash it
with soap and water.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Now the entertainment updates with a Billy Cobstad.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
I love that, oh man.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
So this morning we'll play the makeup ass game again.
The b Bros had a winner yesterday. Their winner got
to Hosier tickets out at Fenway. Hozier, by the way,
has the second show out at Fenway Park tonight.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
We've got a clip from last night. Oh yeah, what
a voice. He sounds great, What a voice. Nothing like

(10:19):
a show at Fenway Park. Either.

Speaker 10 (10:21):
It's gonna be hot out there tonight, hot day, it's not.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
But fun.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
He sounds the exact same he does.

Speaker 11 (10:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
So we'll play the Mega match game at A ten
this morning. And while we were on break last week,
because we left Wednesday, had a couple of days off,
word came down that Boston Calling will not happen next year.
Several days later, yesterday, Boston may Or Michelle Wood tried
to express I.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Understand they had reached out to me to share that
because next year we'll be so busy between the two
hundred and fiftieth anniversary celebrations between FIFA coming that there
will just be a lot of strain on hotel rooms
and events and sponsorships, and so given all that is
happening in that exact same window in Boston, that it'd

(11:12):
be better not to sort of have different sponsorships that
are conflicting or stretch tooth in and really do it
right so that we can enjoy the Boston Calling event
bigger and better when it does come back.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Boh, I think they'd make it part of the two
hundred and fiftieth celebration.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
I think is probably more of an issue, don't you.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Probably that's a strain on hotel rooms. I mean that's huge.

Speaker 6 (11:35):
Yeah, and it goes on for a week, for a
long ago, a week, a couple weeks, I think FIFA.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Well, we had the Boston Calling co creator Mike Schano
in the studio back in May and he said they
had already lined up ax for next year. So this
must have been the last minute change of plan and anyway, yeah,
we'll have to make different plans for Amoral Day weekend.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
Oh yeah, Bill Be could you go every year?

Speaker 12 (11:58):
Right?

Speaker 5 (11:59):
All three days?

Speaker 11 (12:00):
There?

Speaker 4 (12:00):
I sleep?

Speaker 3 (12:01):
I love that I sleep on the banks of the River,
Charles waiting for I'll dig to the archives and find
the clip of Billy I wouldn't.

Speaker 11 (12:13):
I know?

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Bill's really hurting today and he can't go next year.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Oh yeah, So Maroon five is launching a new album,
a new tour, and a new song. The song is
called All Night, Going All Night. Still the thing's going on.
That good for him?

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Huh?

Speaker 5 (12:27):
Oh boy, oh boy.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Maroon five comes to the TD Garden November twenty second,
and don't forget they're doing our iHeart Radio Music Festival
as well. And then Renee Rapp is launching a new tour.
She'll bring it to Boston the TV Garden October second.
Don't forget. She's got a song called I Hate Boston.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
And now she's a lesbian so oh, just like you
were last year. I don't understand how that poorly. We
need to bring that up.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
Was awesome, that's been for like five days. Yeah. An
experience is gay for the stage. Yeah, she's life's all
about experience, all coming together.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
In the billion show Go to Your Next Door.

Speaker 12 (13:14):
Ah.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Alex Warren and Rose have a new song coming out
this Friday. Alex Warren can sing. Huh. His voice is
very like feeling.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Yeah, it's awesome. Hey uh another national anthem disaster, Christian
Channing with who we like.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
We had her on the show not too long ago and.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
She was in Wicked. Yeah, she's legendary.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Taking some heat for her rendition of the anthem at
Game seven, the Thunder and the Pacers game.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
You be the judge, I.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Know, of the.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Home.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
That was an interesting choice.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Yeah, it's her a Broadway rendition. I just think, Yeah,
people didn't like that specific p right.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
That was a strange choice.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
She was on key, she was she was Yeah, it's funny,
all like the Broadway.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
People are like, you don't understand, like this is how
she sings, like this is the masterpiece.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Sounded good, but it just didn't. It wasn't the right
place for it.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
And it kind of sounds like she's flexing, you know, like,
hey watch this. The Thunder Championship parades is to day
in Oklahoma City.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
I had that quick turnaround only a couple of days.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Celtics yesterday traded Drew Holiday for the Trailblazer. That didn't
take long. Two days into the off season, only the beginning.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
I think, oh yeah, he was such a good guy.
To have on the teams. But they owed him seventy
million and he's thirty five. So do the math.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
The Diddy trial prosecutors expected to rest their case today
and by the way, they say.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
The defense isn't going to call a single witness.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
They don't have to.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yeah, jury could have the case tomorrow. I don't I
don't know. I can't call it.

Speaker 12 (15:14):
What.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Did they prove I mean, they prove that he's a freak.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
Great, yeah, but I think a lot of times the
something proved was that he was flying people through they
have sex, Like that's all they needed, right to prove.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
They just went so deep into all the weird sex stuff.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Oh god, the jury like had to watch the videos
of the freak coughs. Yeah, uh, at least of the
Jeff Bezos. Lawrence Sanchez wedding is in Venice, Italy this weekend.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
It is, and they had a foam party on board
his five hundred million dollar yacht. I guess her son
was having a birthday. But yeah, you're frolicking in the yeah,
in Italy, in the foam.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Now those parties back, because I remember those twenty years ago.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I have to tell you, I want to one an
Abiza years ago.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Oh so awful.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
No, it's like sudsy water. It's not after yeah, after,
Like it's been around for a while. But I have
to say the boat party that Bezos had with the
phone looked really fun.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Yeah, do you have any pictures from that time?

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Oh, visa.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Wow, fortunate.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
They say they're going to be spending fifty thousand dollars
per guest.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
At the wedding.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Honestly that that's a nickel for him.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Oh, it's nothing. But the story is that there are
signs and posters all over Venice, like hating on Jeff Bezos,
like giant posters.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
No place for Bezos. They're just insulted by all the
the lavishness. Yeah, but yeah, they had to move one
of the location. See hired US Marines for security for
this event. This weekend in Venice, Brad Pitt on the
Interview Circuit. He's promoting the F one movie Recovery for
recovering from the Angelina only Divorced, but he's also in

(17:02):
Recovery and talked.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
About it on the Dak Shepherd podcast. I was in
pretty it's pretty much on my back.

Speaker 8 (17:09):
Yeah, you know, on my knees, and I was really
open to I was trying anything and everyone anything, anyone
through at me. It was a particular difficult time. I
needed rebooting, I needed to wake up in some areas.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
And.

Speaker 8 (17:24):
It meant it just meant a lot to me. So yeah,
the first is, oh my god, it's coming around. You know,
it's coming around, getting closer.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
It's going to be yours. But everyone was so open.
It's contagious, it is.

Speaker 8 (17:36):
It gives you permission in a way to go, Okay,
I'm going to step out on this edge and see
what happens.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
And then I really you know, I just really grew
to love it. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (17:45):
By the way, I owned Justin seventeen years sober today.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Yeah, they saved my life. The meetings, that's for sure.

Speaker 12 (17:51):
I just want to congratulate Justin on seventeen years of sobriety.
That's absolutely amazing. I am currently walking out the door
to go to my aam. No one understands how difficult
sobriety is unless you're actually in it, and it's the
hottest thing I've ever done. But I wouldn't have it
any other way. Sober is better. So again, congratulations Justin.
I'm coming up on one thousand days on Friday.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Wow, that's a big one too. Every day is big
every day. Yeah, it just starts with the day that's like.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
Three years ish, three years thousand days.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (18:21):

I'm so excited. I can't wait to see you there, Lisa.
And this is my most favorite topic ever. So it's
gonna be a from.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
The Planet's Fitness Kiss one O wait studios. So we're
back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
Hey, guys, welcome back. In case you missed it.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
A few minutes ago, Lisa had another Lisa's book Club announcement,
and you're going to have to move fast on this one,
right Lisa.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Yes, we posted the link. Lisa Donovan went oweight or
just go to Lisa's book Club dot com, Kiss oneaway
dot com. It's at the Mandarin Hotel. We've never had
an event at the Mandarin. The Mandarin has an amazing spot.
Doctor Nick Paracone is a celebrity dermatologist. He has roots
in Boston. He came out with a new book and
it's all about skincare, like we never do this. So

(19:37):
the book is amazing. I read it last week and
so he'll be there. And plus, if you buy a
book at the event from Winchester Bookends, you get a
three hundred and fifty dollars skincare line kit and their
full size products, all of his products. He came out
with the Para cone, you know, skincare line years ago.

(19:58):
So anyway, go to the and sign up.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
It's July seventeenth and it'll probably set out before this
show is over, so you've got.

Speaker 10 (20:05):
To move you want to mention it.

Speaker 6 (20:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Limited seating thanks to ninety plus sellers, thanks to jos
and Maine. Thanks to Dental Partners of Boston and dig
Our Wealth Management.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
I want to go to this because I have I
have a skin question that I always wanted to ask
a dermatologist. So you know, I'm really into this, like
you know, health and wellness and biohacking and all that
stuff longevity. And one of the things they say is
to get vitamin D through the sun. So when you
wake up in the morning, go outside, get the sun
on your face and your eyes, and how beneficial the

(20:34):
sun is. But the other side is put sunscreen on
to protect yourself from the sun. So it's contradictory.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
It's actually a really good question. Yes, And I'm going
to ask him that on stage because I have the
same question. Is there a delicate balance? Because I really
feel like being healthy and being in an outside is
really good for you. So you know, obviously we're some block.
But he talks about it in his book Beauty Molecule,
all about sort of wellness, right and skincare.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
This is good for me.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Yeah, So Tom again, guys can come to this like
this isn't just like a girl event.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
So okay, So am I supposed to wake up in
the morning, put sunscreen on and then step outside into
the sun.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
That's what dermatologists always say. Okay, like that's the first
thing you should put on in the morning.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
I'll come and ask them. Good to do some earthing too,
you know, take your shoes off and walk around there.
Maybe hugg a tree, always hugger tree, always a good Yeah,
it's all good, Okay, all right.

Speaker 11 (21:30):
Morning morning team.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
It's Carol from a gunk With. Just wanted to shout
out that I saw Marian Hancock at the Loved Fitter
and a gunk With this weekend.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
She was amazing.

Speaker 8 (21:39):
If the medium gig doesn't work out for she could
certainly be a stand up comic.

Speaker 10 (21:43):
She was so funny.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Have a great week Bye bye. She is so funny.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
We love her.

Speaker 10 (21:48):
Is she's still doing the Karen Reid judge.

Speaker 6 (21:51):
No, she's she's stopping the trail, but she was. She
has so many you want to go back and watch
it on her Instagram. Mori Medium, Morin Hancock.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
They're really funny.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
That weird thing that we were looking at earlier.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Just that like Karen Reids supporters or showing up outside
homes and dancing on lawns and everything.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
Well, they're harassing John O'Keefe's family. Really, she's really unfortunate.
It's on TMZ. Yeah, they have ring camera footage of
Karen Reid supporters dancing in front of their house.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
You're disgusted.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
That's just not that's just unacceptable.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
Like dancing in the middle of the street taunting them.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Do you have no wife?

Speaker 4 (22:25):
Do you have no rapport?

Speaker 6 (22:26):
Like, I don't care if you think she did it
or didn't do it or what like his mom nothing,
his mother, that house did nothing wrong.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
That's so wrong.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
It's really, it's really I'm sure it's just a select few, right,
It's like the gangs of people are showing up at people.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
So but just that mentality, it's like, it's not it's
not the super Bowl, like you didn't win, Like you
didn't win a sport.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Everyone lost in this.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
Yeah, that's right. And if you supported her and you
believe that she was innocent and she was found not guilty, fine, yeah,
but there's no need to taunt in the family that
lost the loved one.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Yeah, it's really unfortunate.

Speaker 9 (23:02):
Still Morning Billy, Lisa, Justin Whinnie and Radley Sherry from Draco.
I am now in Rome headed to the Vatican city.
It is really hot here and I feel like I'm melting,
but it's still worth it. Amazing. We went to the
catacombs and crypts yesterday. That's not my cup of tea.

(23:23):
Bones chandily made out of bones.

Speaker 6 (23:26):
What yea?

Speaker 4 (23:28):
Yeah, she's listening all the way in Rome.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Hot, Oh, he gets very hot.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I remember I almost passed out outside the coliseum the
only time I ever had that feeling.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
I remember I was talking to doing the trip to
Pompeii and it was such a hot day, and Pompei
is just like a dust bowl, and like you're standing
in the middle of this dust bowl and you're surrounded
by death basically, And I'm like, okay, you know, I
think I stayed five minutes.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
Okay, now I can say I've been to Pompeii. Is
it hotter there than here?

Speaker 1 (23:58):
It is.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
It's just a different feeling, isn't it.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Least I'm telling you, I've never had heat stroke, and
I had heat strokes.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
It's ninety there right now.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
They also don't have a c like we have.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Ac No, that's why you always have to stay like
an American hotel.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Wait, Lisa, when you went is that when you went
to Abiza.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
No, Abiza was much earlier, like in my early twenties.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Oh okay, justin my boy, they'll call you the best
producer around for nothing. Work your magic can find those
pictures of Lisa, the phone body and Abiza.

Speaker 9 (24:28):

We're going to run over some of the winners and
you can be the judge. We'll open up the phones
and the talkbacks to people if they want to criticize
or degree right.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Because there's so many different categories, you might have your
favorite that wasn't mentioned.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
I'm gonna start with the best neighborhood restaurant the Seaport
District of Boston, and I totally agree with this one.
They gave it to Woodshill Pre four Kristin Kentty. She
does an amazing job there. The outdoor seating area is
easily the best in Boston. And most of what she
serves comes from her own farm in New Hampshire, like
a three hundred acre farm. And by the way, her

(25:51):
new place, same location, same building, called the Block.

Speaker 10 (25:55):
They're taking reservations. It's going to open up in about
a week two now.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Cannot wait for this soap And Kristen's amazing And you're right,
that's the best neighborhood.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
That's a big one.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
I like this one because you're actually your your son
Chris on met Boston and it's my mother's Cutlets Yes,
open to try it, best viral opening. It's Nick Verano's
newest sandwich.

Speaker 10 (26:15):
Shops right on Hanover Street in the North End.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
And yeah, my son Chris did a Hubster segment for
Meat Boston on it and everybody's just raving about it.
Shout out to Davio's Steakhouse. They were acknowledged our buddy
Steve d Filipo, as they should be in terms of
a steakhouse. And I was just this past Friday night,
Michelle and I had dinner at Prima in Charlestown, which

(26:39):
is a beautiful restaurant. But they've got this room in
the back called the Rose Room where you can have
a private event or anything. It's it's like unbelievably beautiful. Wait,
what was that labeled as best private dining Room? Okay,
so they've got the giant restaurant with a huge wraparound bar,
but then in the back of the restaurant you entered
this private room. You can go there any time, but

(27:00):
people can also rent the room for a private event.
So shout out to Prima in Charlestown. That's Prima.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
So best steakhouse went to Grill twenty three. Now, there
are a lot of steakhouses out there, so you might
have your favorite. We want to hear from you, but
Girl twenty three obviously is amazing. They've a great wine list.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Yeah, people ask me over the years, I always say
girl twenty three. You got to go with a girl
twenty three. First steak in Boston, Although, like you say,
there are so many awesome steakhouses, so many. You know,
what was acknowledged rare at the Encore Boston Harper, which
is a Michael Schlaud place, and they've got a great

there are a lot of barbecue places. So if you've
got your favor, we want to hear from you. But
she does a great job.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
They gave her best lobstrow all. I like this because
you pass it all the time. It's over by the
Boston Harbor Hotel James Hooking Company.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
I've never been.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Yeah, it's very casual. You can grab and go or
they have an outdoor seating and you're right on Boston.
So yeah, it's good that they were acknowledged.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Best new bar, got extra dirty cocktail club. It's on

of radio morning radio shows in Boston, but only we
have the Mayor of the South End.

Speaker 11 (34:54):
I got to say my best Boston food definitely the
Greek hero right across from Fenway, or like a block
away from Fenway has got to be some of the
best lamb Hero I have ever had in my entire life.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
You know what else I got to give a shout
out to if you're in the Fenway Park area is
a Joko at the Verb Hotel if you like good
Asian food, and they've got a really cool thing they
call the it's like a challenge where you spin the
wheel and it and it's sushi, but it's the wasabi
challenge where they one of them is hidden with like
five times.

Speaker 5 (35:28):
Was so cool.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
You play a game at the table. I can't play that.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
I would die.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
We had the Tate McCrae listening party. I ever remember
that we did. Oh that's really cool boutique hotel.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
Oh yeah, and it's like the biggest rock and roll
museum in the lobby of the hotel.

Speaker 10 (35:44):
So it's a very cool place anyway, Joko, all right.

Speaker 12 (35:47):
I live in East Cambridge and I walked to a local.

Speaker 9 (35:52):

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Speaking of Cambridge, there's a big festival in Cambridge that
was gonna happen today. It's called Cambridge Taste. It used
to be called the Taste of Cambridge. For some reason
they changed came about.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
Well it must have hurt someone's feelings or something, so
now it's called Cambridge Taste. And it was supposed to
happen today, but because of the heat, they moved it
to tomorrow, five thirty to seven thirty on the Sydney Street.
I think it's called University Park. There'll be thirty or
forty restaurants. There are some great restaurants in Cambridge. Harvest
is going to be there. Oh, let's not forget barbecue

(36:41):
with our buddy Andy Husbands in Smoke Shop. They'll be
featured at Cambridge Taste tomorrow as well. So it's moved
to tomorrow because of the heat. Yeah, I'm looking at
all the restaurants here.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
Oh my god. Harvest Crazy Julia is.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
An Italian restaurant in Cambridge.

also a great restaurant. Yeah, there'll be at least thirty
restaurants there.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
Will you be attending?

Speaker 10 (37:05):
Quite possibly. It's like two blocks from where I grew
up as a little boy.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
Oh, you could take a stroll around the old neighborhood.

Speaker 8 (37:11):
Oh yeah, good morning, guys. My favorite pizza places is
Chripoli's and then Regina is in the North End.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
The original Regiina. Yeah, it's unlike all the other Regina pizza.
The original is like amazing, those are that's interesting.

Speaker 4 (37:28):
That's two different types of pizza, right, obviously you have
reginas and then Tripoli's is beach pizza. What's beach pizza
sweet sauce?

Speaker 5 (37:35):
Oh bea pizza? Oh really, I've never heard pizza.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
Oh yeah, is that a north Shore thing? It must
be interesting, you know, you know, beach pizza. There's bar
pizza versus beach pizza. Each pizzas.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
The square pizza has a sice of prevalon. On top
of that, a lot of people call it bakery pizza.
If it's square, it's basically Sicilian square. Yeah, but then
people call it bakery pizza because bakeries always would sell
it in the old neighborhoods.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
Yeah, and they have a sweet sauce. Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
My all time.

Speaker 12 (38:01):
