Speaker 1 (00:00):

and he did our jingle Ball and he's coming back
in September of next year. He'll do a stadium show
out at your let. We've got a pair of tickets
right now for Call of twenty five and the keyword,
Lisa will be what it's la boo boo? La booboo
is the keyword chosen the biggest pop culture moment of
(00:20):
twenty twenty five? Lah boo or la fufu or like
Justin has Lafoufooh.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yeah, I don't really know the difference, but apparently fake
what's are called lafufusright?
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Call her twenty five? Six one seven nine three one
one one. Oh, let's get some talkbacks in, Justine. Well,
the talkbacks are broken. Yeah, I have talkbacks from yesterday
that I did not get to. But yeah, our whole
system is down across the whole country. Wow.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
So we have no talkbacks that are coming in. So
I'm sure people are leaving them, but we're not getting them.
Once it is fixed and then I will be able
to get them. So if you left talkbacks this morning
and you did not hear them, that is why. Okay, Okay,
good morning guys.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
This is Carlos So.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yes, sir, I was reading the Wall Street Journal, and
I was thinking about Billy because sometimes I'm listening to
the radio station and Billy's complaining about when he takes
it over there, sometimes some of the overs got like
a really strong smell. I don't know if it's the
sense or the smell of the perfume. So Auber's going
to launch two things. One is woman to women, so
women can feel safe at night time, and the other
one is cars were no smell. So my guess Billy
(01:24):
Uber was listening to you.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
There you go enough with the fragrance trees. I mean
most of ubers have them all over the car. You
get in you can't even breathe. Instant headache.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah yeah, well they have them in the front, but
then they'll put them in the back, yes, you.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Know, hanging or they hide them under a seat. Yeah
we know they're there.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, I have I'm like sensitive my head. I guess
it's easily, you know, Like my wife will have all
this smelly things all over the house and I get headache,
so get Yeah it's too much.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, if it's ten degrees out, I'm opening the window
to the car if it's got the trees everywhere.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, by the way, I like the black trees. You know,
the little car air fresheners. I haven't seen that black ice. No,
that's the best smelling one. Oh okay, what.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Do you use use that? I don't use anything.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
I don't use anything.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
You don't do anything in your car any air freshness
or anything?
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah my scent.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Okay, yeah, I mean I cleaned the car.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
No, write it down.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
No air freshness or anything. Okay, we crossed that off
your Christmas list. Chemicals okay, chemicals, Well the tree is
you can't use trees now, all chemicals.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
I've been using trees my whole life. Well, maybe it's
time you change.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I mean, I think I'm okay.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
God everything, you can't do anything.
Speaker 6 (02:37):
Hi.
Speaker 7 (02:37):
This is Wilhelmina from Spencer, Massachusetts, and I have listened
to Kiss One Away for thirty seven thousand in eighteen
and a total of fifty nine and nineteen listening to
the podcast. And I'm also in Lisa's book club member.
Awesome since the beginning. Great job you guys, thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Wow, that's a lot of listening thank you very much.
She got that information on the iHeartRadio app, the Rewind.
You have the app we've talked about this go on.
They have a rewind feature that'll give you the highlights
of the year, meaning like how long you listened and
how many talkbacks you left. So we do encourage that
if you haven't done that yet and let us know
how long you've been listening.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
So is that a person there the new leader?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
No, there was someone in the sixties, Okay, something thousand, yeah,
which you know we appreciate.
Speaker 7 (03:26):
So justin I kind of do what your wife does.
I make a schedule, but I don't share it with
my guests, especially on Christmas Eve when we have the
Seven Fishes Love Agelia. We serve a new seafood slash.
Speaker 8 (03:39):
Selfish every half hour and then have a Yankee Swap
at the end.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
It's a whole bunch of fun.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
But they don't know the times or anything. In my mind,
Jeff and now, yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Well happened Christmas Eve at my house. My wife wrote
up a schedule that she sent to our guests that
has everything by the hour, when to arrive, when the
apps are coming out, when the Yankee Swap is, when
the games are, et cetera, et cetera. I thought it
was a little much. She didn't like that, a little
bit of a disagreement, a little bit. Yeah, we don't
(04:09):
really need a schedule per se. Then the food thing, Billy,
this is your worst nightmare. There's going to be so
much food, like so much, so much. Yeah, so many
appetizers and then the main meal is lasagna.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Oh wow, okay, I'll fill you up. So we have.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
She was running through the food list yesterday and there
were so many appetizers, and then she's like, she likes this.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Place, but is it we're making it all but all
the all the apps that are being made.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Then she wants to go get egg rolls. Let's go
the egg roll cafe. She loves to make these, like
really good egg rolls.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
She's mixing egg roll with She's.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Gonna go get the egg rolls. I go, whoa, that's
way too much food. And I love food, way too much.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Good slice of lasagnas like swallowing a sidewalk break. It
fills yourp h yeah, it fills your I mean it's
just it's gonna sit there for a while.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
You were playing the games that well, after lose n
Let me tell you Jamie online too.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Jamie, you there, Yes, I am, Thank god, Jamie. We're
having problems with the talk back. The phone's not working right.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Talk to me, Jamie.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
You go, Jamie your caller twenty five? Do you have
the keyword? I do. It's la booboo? Do you have
one around the house of La Boobo? We have three
and they're just creepy looking? Yeah? How long before you
toss them? I'm waiting, but she knows that they're there.
(05:40):
Oh of course it's hard. All right, Well, Jamie, listen,
you call it twenty five. You got a pair of
tickets see Ed sheeron stadium show Jiete Stadium in September,
and you qualify for the lease. All right.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
We have a signed vinyl from Ed Sheer and he
just did it at Jingle Boss, so that could be
yours too.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh yeah, Jamie, can you say collectors item? Amazing?
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I saw him at Jingle Ball and it was amazing.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Oh thanks for coming too, well, thank you, Jamie. But
hold on, and an added bonus you get to talk
to producer Riley and she's going to make sure you
got everything you got coming to you. Okay and Lisa
All the morning. Okay, Justin, you've got some headlines.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
We'll talk a lot about dating on this show, but
this one, if it's true, could be one of the
creepiest things ever. A new French app is being called
Tinder for kids.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Real or fake. Oh. I have to assume it would
be illegal or certainly inappropriate.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
But well, well.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
It's in France that this makes it suspicious because sometimes
things are different. Yeah, but you're right, this seems like
it would just be not okay on any on any
different level.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
So I'm going to say it's fake.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Me too. I don't trust Justin on this one. Oh
my god, it's real real?
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Oh please tell me.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
The new app called Wiz is facing serious backlash for
creating what critics are calling Tender for kids. The app
uses the same swipe left or right system as dating apps,
but is aimed at users as young as thirteen.
Speaker 6 (07:18):
Is a Tinder like app designed for teenagers that was
actually removed from the app stores after the National Center
on Sexual Exploitation raised concerns about sextortion. Whiz is now
back in the Apple App Store after it implemented and
demonstrated some.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
New safety features.
Speaker 6 (07:35):
Although WIZ officials say they want to create a safe
space for teenagers, those new safety features aren't the best.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, you might want to monitor your kids' phones if
they have.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
Right on this, this doesn't seem safe at all.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Where was this when I was a kid?
Speaker 2 (07:48):
None, it wasn't around.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Bill, be happy that it wasn't around.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
You had spin the bottle, right, that's how Yeah, that's
how you're keeping it simple. You went in the closet, yep, Yeah,
this is great.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Which was weirder? I went in the closet with my
older sister's friends. That was as creepy as a guest.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
He was going to say, my older sister.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Well, that's where I drew the line, all right.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Next up, it is the holiday season. One four hundred
and thirty five couples kiss under the missletoe and break
a world record.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
I'm going to say that this is real, definitely real.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
It seems like something that would be, you know, would
be a world record.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Pretty confident on this.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
I liked it.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yes, Okay, Over fourteen hundred couples in Washington, d DC
broke a world record for most couples kissing under the
mistletoe at the same at the same time, he is
the guy that organized the events.
Speaker 9 (08:48):
We are calling all couples to make kisstory with us
right in the heart of downtown DC and the National
Missletoe is a larger than life our installation that includes
six hundred pound ball of missiletoe feed wide and diameters
ended thirty feet in the air at Anthem Row. This year,
we're calling all couples to help us break the world
record and make history as we kiss under the mistletoe
(09:09):
right here in DC.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
And they did, and they did pretty wo wow.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
It's his calls for some some missletoe.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Holiday.
Speaker 10 (09:18):
But I can stop starving that I should be playing
in the winter snows.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yes see, Bieber should have done that in his live
stream last week. I know on that weird eighteen minute song.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
That was bizarre. I don't know why I like mistletoe.
Mistletoe is good, all right?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Next up real a fake Billy and Lisa a lawsuit
filed against the city of Detroit because there's not enough
strip clubs still open. Now, I've never been to Detroit,
so I can't really comment on this. But do we
think it's a real story or a fake store?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Motor City?
Speaker 4 (09:51):
What are you doing on this one.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Bill a lawsuit, a lawsuit filed against the city that
there's not enough strip clubs open. Well, if it's a
real story, I'll give you the details.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
But if it's fake, I'm going to say fake.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Lise, I'm gonna say fake on this too. I have
some questions.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
You're trusting Bill's judgment, Lisa.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
Man, this is I'm going with the mush he shows right, Okay, yeah,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Sometimes Billy is right, he gets lucky.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
Yeah, no, no, no, but that there's so many things that
don't make sense.
Speaker 11 (10:26):
In this year.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Yeah. Golden Banana, by the way, is still open on
no and flourishing. Yeah, girls in cages on Route one.
All right, last one. We're running out of time here, brailer,
fake story. More than one hundred packages intended for a
local hotel have been delivered to one couple's home. Hmmm,
(10:51):
I think this could happen. Les one hundred packages, that's
a lot. Yeah, we got a delivery last night from Amazon.
It was like seven packages. There was so many bocks.
They were only seven, but some of them were giant,
you know, yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah, yeah, what do you think of Lise, Whatever you
decide I'm going with you on this. I don't trust myself.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Okay again, real or fake? I think this could be fake.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Okay, I don't know, all right, fake too, I'm going
with Lisa. Fake. This happened.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Also in DC, a family says more than one hundred
packages which were intended for a local hotel have been
delivered to their home over the past six months. Wow,
don't believe me. As the homeowner.
Speaker 8 (11:34):
The past six plus months, we've been getting at least
over one hundred packages, I would say, and we've received
everything from cat food to vitamin supplements to even a chainsaw.
For more than half the year, I've been receiving Amazon
packages meant for hotel guests at the Rlow Hotel. They
(11:55):
are inadvertently clicking on our address, which shows up first. Actually,
it's been a lot of late nights, like after eight pm,
where folks are coming and knocking on a door, which
is pretty tough when you have a kid.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Did they get to keep them?
Speaker 2 (12:12):
I'm not sure. I think they gave them back.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
But a chainsaw, let's go justin Do you have a chainsaw?
Speaker 1 (12:23):
You have a chainsaw.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
I do not have a chainsaw. I have a handsaw.
I'm old school. I do it by hand.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
The truth is I don't know how to use a chainsaw,
Otherwise i'd get one.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
It's a little scary.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
It's a little scary.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
Lisa, now the entertainment Update with a Billy Gobsta on
Kiss one A.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
We okay, our own Lisa Dunovan. You're going to be
with the Boston Pops. Is it tomorrow?
Speaker 5 (12:47):
It's tomorrow, it's the three o'clock show. Yeah, so we'll
be with Keith Lockhart. And I'm there because I'm going
to be doing the poem Twas the night before Christmas,
So I'll be reading the poem and they'll be playing
music behind me and I can't wait. It's it's been
like a bucket list thing for me. So I'm so
excited that they asked me to do it this year.
And yeah, you can get you can buy tickets to
the concert Boston Pops dot com. Yeah, exactly, Boston Pops
(13:10):
dot org.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
I believe I get to tell you and I've both
been to the Holiday Pops. It's it's an amazing night
and beautifully done.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
If you need like a pick me up, if you
want like a really fun holiday thing.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
To do with friends and family.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Definitely check out the Boston Pops and just go to
BSO dot org and they've got many different shows.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
But again, I will be at the three o'clock show tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Now, have you rehearsed? Have you practiced your lines?
Speaker 4 (13:37):
I haven't.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
I was just looking at YouTube videos of prior people
doing it so to see what they did, and I
printed out, you know the poem.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
So yeah, I'll be ready.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Twas the night if you rehearsed on this show, you
don't remember I did.
Speaker 5 (13:50):
Yeah, twas the Night before Christmas went all through the house.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The
stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes
that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Yeah. I think it's going to be beautiful. You're going
to be dressed as an elf or something or.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
No, be dressed like a nice little holiday outfit.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Yeah. Yeah, the family and friends going.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
Yep, some family and friends are coming. We have a
table and it's going to be really great.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Well that's good, So tomorrow night and just go to
Boston Pops.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Dot org, BSO dot org.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Yeah, do yourself a favor. Get to this event. If
you've never been to the Holiday Pops, I'm telling you,
it makes your entire holidays.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
It really does.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
And they they said, Donovan up there with the Pops.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Yeah, come at three and then go out for an
early dinner or something.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
So I guess Cardi B was doing some performing with
the Patriots last night or something. What was going down there?
Speaker 5 (14:42):
Well, she was doing a yoga class in full Chanel,
which was impressive.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Chanelle has yoga clothes.
Speaker 5 (14:49):
Well, I mean they well it wasn't really a yoga outfit,
but she was wearing a beautiful Chanelle knit outfit to
do yoga.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Well, she's all in with this Patriots thing. We're dating
Stephan Diggs.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Well, it was his foundation, so she was there to
support him.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Well, she's about to buy a house in Easton allegedly.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Yeah, we get any follow up to that. Yesterday we
had the exclusive report that Cardi B and Stephan Diggs
are buying a place in Easton.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Yeah, apparently that's all the all the talk in Easton.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
I bet it is.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
That she's about to buy a crib.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
You imagine being Cardi M's neighbor.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah, it's going to be a busy neighborhood. Yeah, busy neighborhood.
Patrick Mahomes had the surgery last night on the knee,
you know, he had torn acl serious. I mean, he's
definitely out for the season, but so are they. Yeah,
the Chiefs aren't going to be making the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
It just kind of adds to the bad season, right, Yeah,
not going well for the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
Man Steelers beat the Dolphins, so I think that means
the Dolphins are now mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Don't
the Patriots have the Monday night game next week, Sunday night,
Sunday night?
Speaker 11 (15:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Yeah, they got moved against Baltimore.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
All right, prime time and that was not originally a
primetime game, right, they moved it from an afternoon slot. Yeah,
they bumped it well once you see how well they're
playing well until they met the Bills the other day.
But anyway, yeah, uh so, the trailer for part two,
season five of Stranger Things dropped and of course we
have a collapse.
Speaker 5 (16:17):
This is not over, not by a long shot.
Speaker 8 (16:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (16:26):
This whole time, everything you had ever assumed about the
upside down has one.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Dead wrong, no way dead wrong. What does that mean?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Justin dude, you're missing out, man, You're missing out on
Stranger Things. It's an experience. I'm telling you.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
It's good. But everything you've seen, Yeah, they hadn't heard
about the upside down is wrong.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah, it's all going to come to a conclusion.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
They're going to explain what it really is.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
And Vecna, they're going to explain everything.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
And now you know Will is involved. Yeah, it has powers.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Those a major to wow.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
The last episode eleven. You know, I'm going to take
the next few days off so I can just stay
home and watch. No, you not start to finish Stranger Things.
You really should, you'd like it. I think I think
it'd be weird row a beard and everything, just sitting
in front of the TV eating junk.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
FID I have to say, there's nothing more like relaxing
than being able to do that or ah binging a show.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
Yeah, if you have the time.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
Meantime, Millie Bobby Brown and No Where Not were scheduled
for Good Morning America yesterday, but Millie Bobby Brown had
to cancel because apparently she took a fall. I'm really sorry.
I couldn't be that with you guys.
Speaker 6 (17:38):
I took a fall, so I wanted to still participate
in any way I could, because you know me.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Now I have to make it about me. Yeah. So
she didn't make it to the studio, but she made
it on the screen.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
She took a fall, Yeah, off she went.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
So this is cool. Just announced Mariah Carey's going to
perform opening ceremonies at the twenty twenty six Winter Games
in Milan, Italy.
Speaker 11 (18:02):
Shall get ready for Milano Cortina twenty twenty six. See
you at the Stadio San Siero on the sixth of
February for the Olympic opening ceremony. Chi vidiamo a Milano.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
She's doing that Hilaria thing in Italian.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
It's okay, Maria can do anything.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
She really can, really can't. I love that she's as
big now as she ever was.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Me too.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
I don't mean physically, I meant you know, she's Yeah,
it was a star. She has the Games run from
February six.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Throw that in there well, because he has a history
of it.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Get two classic bacon, egg and cheese colossal sandwiches, Give
one to a friend, or grab two just for you. Mariah. Okay,
I don't know where you got that. What is wrong
with you?
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Not my voice?
Speaker 1 (18:51):
On that Oh not my voice anyway, the Winter Games
going from February sixth to the twenty second, and also
went ounce Mariah Carey. She had this secret grunge album
that was never released. She did it in the nineties,
but it's going to be released now the second half
of next year. Well that I hosted a Mariah show
in a small club in Boston's Financial District years ago,
(19:15):
like what era, Well, it's interesting. She wasn't the main act.
She was a backup singer for what's her name?
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, so I was hired.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
I used to host the live things that happened at
this club. It was called Stocks and Bonds or something.
Mariah Carey was what's her name's Brenda Star, Yeah, Brenda
Starr's backup singer. Star was the backup to Mariah. No, no, no, okay.
(19:46):
Mariah was the backup singer.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
And then she met Tommy Mottola yes right, and married
him and married him.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Yeah. Are you still looking to prove me wrong in there?
This is what fascinating. You're so disappointed you look it up.
Mariah Carey started as someone's backup.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Mariah started as a backup singer for freestyle artist Brenda
K Star in the late eighties.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
Wow, yeah, do you have Brenda K Starr in there
for me?
Speaker 2 (20:10):
No, I want to keep my job in the Boston.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
I played Brenda k Star Justin bieber Back on the
live stream last night. We got a clip your Uh,
he's not going to be drinking for the holidays, and
he tells us why, But.
Speaker 10 (20:28):
I've got stem cells And they said that I have
to do a month without drinking, and so I'm like
a weekend. It's been good, but it's just holidays. Not
drinking is tough, especially going to all these holiday parties
wanting to have like a glass of wine or like
(20:48):
just socially, just you know, it's tough.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Now, Justin you're are in house expert. Why would someone
get stem cells?
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Oh, if you have injuries, it can help hail your injuries.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Because they have injuries.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
He must have done something to his maybe his knee
or his shoulder. And they're controversial. They're not fully legal
per se. They are in some way. It's kind of
a gray area. But he probably traveled out of the
country to like Mexico or Colombia.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
It's funny you should say that because I remember when
I had an injury recently, you were encouraging me, Yeah,
to go else, leave the country to get illegal treatment.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
It's not illegal, it's not. They just don't have it
in America, right. It's very expensive. That's why all the
celebrities are getting them. When they have injuries. They don't
they go get stem cells.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Where were you telling me to go? I forget Tijuana?
Speaker 4 (21:37):
Okay, you could stay with my clinic.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
To go to Tijuana, Mexico. Baby wow. Okay, you might
not come back, but if you do, you'll be out. Yeah. Yeah,
I don't want to go to Tiaa. No, all that
crazy stuff goes down there.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
My sister fives in an attitude one all the time.
They just walk right across the dealing bridge. No, it's
just cheap. Yeah, you're flying to Tijuana, it's easy.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Yeah, you see it in the movies all the time,
walking across the.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Walk across with your luggage.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Really.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Oh yeah, they do have some stem cell in America,
but not to the Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Yeah, it's yeah a little bit different. It's kind of
a knockoff. I love this next story, Chris Martin was
asked by fans to submit a video message for their
wedding and Steady showed up and he performed.
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Okay, yeah, I guess they reached out.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
They just wanted a video and then he was like,
we can do better than that, and then he showed up.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
I love when artists do this. I just don't know
how they choose which one to do.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
You know what Lisa said earlier, They must have somebody.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
That they must like.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
They're searching for these types of stories, and the fact
that he did show up was really cool. In his
you know nip cap that he always wears, well, it's
side piano.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
When I saw Edge Duran's one shot the couple that
was getting engaged, I was wondering, how did they get
that right? With Edge? Shearan just supposedly showing up and
performing for their engagement as he was about to work.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
I'm sure there's a ton of those people, and then
they probably vet a few and so.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
They knew he figure out coming. Probably Oh yeah, like
you know, you want to get Brenda K Star, you can't.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Didn't Mariah end up doing that song? Yes? I thought so.
She stole it from Brenda K Star.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yes, there's actually some controversy that story. We won't get
into right now.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
You know who's not doing the Olympic Games. Brenda k
starw now, but she still believes that's good. Okay, We're
brought to you by the ninety nine Restaurants. Listen, you
can give the perfect gift this year ninety nine restaurant
gift cards. Perfect gift for anybody on your list. And
by the way, for every twenty five dollars you spend,

(23:55):
gotta love the nines in there. You go get two
classic bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches, give one to a friend,
or grab two, Yes for you.
Speaker 5 (24:03):
Mariah from the Planet Fitness Kiss one of eight Studios.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
We're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
So the Brown University shootings are still the lead story
around the country. I should mention the investigation is back
on because whoever they had in custody, they had the
wrong guy and they let the person go. So again
they're still the manhunt is still on. They're asking for
public for help. They do have a few more pictures,
(24:32):
a couple of videos. We haven't talked about it a
lot during the show this morning, but we have had
it in the news at the top of every hour
and Lisa, a reminder to everybody. Your son Max goes
to Brown University.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
Right, So he's a freshman at Brown.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
He was home for the weekend because we had jingle Ball,
But we ended up going down to campus yesterday with
Max because he had to clean out his dorm room
for the break because they've ca anseled all classes and
all exams this week.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
So we went down and gathered his things.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
And you know, my takeaway was there was a growing
memorial by the gates.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
It was very quiet. It was very very quiet.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
Gary, Yeah, not a lot going on.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
Most of the children have gone home.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
There are a lot of people involved with sports, they're
still there. I know that more images were released, like
you said, of this person in question. They did send
out a campus wide email yesterday text saying that if
you were at the Barrison Holly Building Friday or Saturday,
to contact the police and let them know any little
(25:41):
tiny thing you could give them could help them break
the case. And they did ask people to call the
Providence Police Department.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
And there's a fifty thousand dollars reward being offered up
for any information that could lead to the arrest, but
the big deal. At the press conference yesterday, they talked
about this increase in at least presence. Did you notice
that at all.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
When you were on When I was there, No, I
I just thought it was extremely quiet.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
It was it was It was eerie for me.
Speaker 5 (26:10):
We did have one of Max's friends come stay with
us because her flight was out today because a lot
of these kids are international students, so they were trying
to get flights quicker, so it was hard.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
But her roommate was shot and.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Condition. Her friend was one of the people's shot.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Yes, her roommate. Her roommate was shot her.
Speaker 5 (26:33):
Her roommate is still in the hospital in Providence, but
it's in stable condition. She was multiple times in the
Torso the thing that my takeaway from this and speaking
with my son Max and his friend, was that these
were all freshmen and they had just started this journey
together and the fact that they the fact that they
(26:57):
lived through this and now their friends have been so
so impacted from this and are really injured, just hits
home like how just tragic this whole situation is. And
it's still ongoing. There's still no one in custody. They
I just it's so far reaching. I can't even describe
it to you.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Well, I thought it was weird that they lifted the
shelter in place and yet the gunman is still on
the loose. That to me was a little weird. They
have no idea where the shooter is. But everything's go, okay,
go about your business.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
Well, a lot of the students are gone down.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Yeah, so the place is pretty much empty.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
Yeah it was. Yeah, it was very quiet.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
So how many of these of the victims that Max know?
Speaker 5 (27:41):
He knew Muhammad Aziz who was killed. He had just
seen him as as soon as Friday night. He was
actually helping Max with something.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
With his ID.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
My god.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
He refers to him as just a gentle and kind
person who wanted to be a doctor.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
His friend's roommate. They were very close.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
They lived literally two doors down and on the same
hallway and the same floor. Yeah, and he knows a
third victim, another gunshot victim. So again it was it
was the freshman class. So yeah, so he's just really
he's really sad, and he's starting to get angry actually
(28:28):
about how this happened to them and on this campus.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Short.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
First it's shock, yeah, fear, and then it goes to anger, yes, man,
Paul Max.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
I mean, you know you think that your friends, your
close friends, are like running for their lives all of
a sudden. They're just they're looking to wrap up the
semester and go home for the holidays. About the parents, Lisa,
you've talked with family members. I mean, they're looking forward
to having their children come home for the holidays, wrap
up the semester, and move on with their lives. And
instead they're either in the hospital or they're dead. It's
(29:02):
I don't know, this investigation seems weird to me. They
need to get it together down there in profit to.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Catch this guy. But it was I mean when this
news broke Lisa, it was like immediately my phone blew up.
You know, our listeners and people that know you and
know us, you know this like panic.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
You know, well, again, thank you so much for the
outpouring of concern. But we're so close to Rhode Island
and to Providence, and so many of us are connected
to that city in a big way and have been
for a really long time. So it's not just the
Brown community, but it's all the schools around that. It's
such a you know, they've got several. You know, they've
(29:39):
got Moses Brownie a wheeler, they've got Risdy right there.
So there's so many schools and so many children they've
been walking distance of where this happened.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Yeah. I noticed this morning on one of the recent
reports that some of the colleges and schools in the
area are closed, which suggests to me that it's not okay,
not a time to go about your business.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
That's so scary. So Max is now home, lease, he's not,
he's not.
Speaker 5 (30:07):
He's so we picked up his stuff for break and
he saw him now yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Good, good good, oh boy, Hans.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
So many tragedies in one two three day period, so
many the Australia shooting Australia is insane. And that hero
that just this guy just tackled the guy with a
long gun.
Speaker 5 (30:25):
And well, I hope that the pictures that they released
last night, the new video of this guy, I really
hope that's something that that moves things along.
Speaker 4 (30:34):
Now.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
Yeah, and again, if you're listening and you have you
have any information, just give them a call or reach
out to the Providence Police Department tip line.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Yeah, because although there weren't cameras in that engineering building
where it all went down.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
I guess it's a very old building from what the
kids told.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Me, but their cameras all over the campus. Yeah. So anyway,
our hearts, our prayers go out to the family with
the victims, and uh yeah, hopefully don't catch this this
guy monster kids.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Away in the morning, wrap up on Billy and Lisa
in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Yeah, kind of a funky morning today. Our talkbacks are broken. Yeah,
you can leave talkbacks on the iHeartRadio app, which, by
the way, we use a lot of people, leave a
lot of them every single day.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
They're a big part of this show.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
You can leave them, but I just don't get them
because whatever the system is is down. They're working to
fix it.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Are the talkbacks on holiday break?
Speaker 2 (31:26):
No, no, no. I think once the system fixes right,
gets fixed, then they will all show. Somebody's on this apparently. Yes,
it is a national issue. But it was a day
without talkbacks, which was not fun. But we did our
best this morning. We did give away Ed Sharon tickets
Julette Stadium next September, a couple of shots, a couple
of winners like Genord.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Now, be very careful with this. Delivery has to be right.
What is the keyword? Shoot ye word to your mother.
You just don't hear it that much. You don't hear that.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
But yeah, tomorrow morning seven ten, eight ten, we'll have
more Ed Sharon tickets, and today too with the v
Bros And McCabe. Also this morning, our topic time all
about Christmas cards? Do you get them? Do you give them?
Do you like them?
Speaker 9 (32:19):
So I have to I call them my sons.
Speaker 6 (32:21):
They're my dogs.
Speaker 9 (32:22):
They're on the front and then on the back of
my card is a small picture of my daughter.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yeah, she has her dogs on the front and kids
on the back.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
They get the prime position, the dogs.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Think about that, leavest, you know what.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
I love dogs. I mean I love pets. So I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
It's it's the stage.
Speaker 4 (32:41):
That she's in, right.
Speaker 5 (32:42):
They were a little bit older, her kids are older
now she wants to include them, but her dogs seem
like that's the main event.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
Yeah, yeah, I love I think it's sweet.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Yeah, your mother, Oh man, tomorrow the talkbacks will be fixed.
I know a lot of people probably checking in the
mayor of the South End, who leaves a talkback every
single day, had to call in. I picked up the
phone and it was the mayor. I'm like I ain't
another dimension. It was so weird. But don't forget Friday,
(33:15):
we will have the end of year Billion Lisa Show Awards.
This will happen right around eight fifteen, and then at
nine ten Friday, we will announce the Talkbacker of the Year.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
Yeah. And is it tomorrow night that the Best of
jingle Ball is gonna air on ABC? And then Thursday
it'll be on Hulu. On Hulu yep, very good Bill.
How about that? Not company man, But we gotta go.
We'll see you in the morning, Okay, by now,
