Speaker 1 (00:00):
That's right, And we've got a pair of dingle ball
tickets right now. This jingle Ball is coming up next
week Sunday night, next weeklies, I know, just over a week,
and we've got a pair of tickets. Because this is
the ticket tag, we're going to call a name. You
will get tickets, but you'll qualify for the grand prize,
and the grand prize is probably the biggest thing they'll ever.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Win, right exactly. You're gonna sit in the front row,
which never happens. Then you get to go backstage and
actually meet one of the artists performing. You get to
go to a jingle ball party, and we're gonna put
you up in a fabulous hotel.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
This is crazy. This is crazy. So here it comes.
You'll have fifteen minutes at Cassie Melody with two whys,
not one at the end. At Cassie Melody, we had
a winner earlier. We want to have another one. We
want to have two winners on a Friday morning. Okay,
So Cassie do it for us, Okay. In the meantime,
I want to give a shout out to Ghibli's Fine
Men's Clothing and Danvers.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
You know it's my place, right Yes, we love Alan Ghibli.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah, ay, Allen, what's up Sunday? Every year he does this.
It's an all day lady's day. It's an opportunity for
women to go in and shop for the men in
their lives. Okay, so all day everything in the store
this coming Sunday is fifteen percent off.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Everything in the store fifteen percent off. And he's got
everything in there and the brand new women's department. By
the way, if you want to shop for yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Ladies, I've been in there. It's nice.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yeah, he'll have refreshments and everything, coats and coats and
jackets and skin. You know, they have a full lineup
of Canada goose too, justin you got your Canada Goose there. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Well, I need a new sports jacket because the one
I got from Alan. He said to me a couple
of years ago. He goes, look, I know you're a weightlifter. Yeah,
but we're going to size this thing perfectly. If you
keep lifting weights, especially heavy, you're going to outgrow it.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
And I was like, nah, I'll be fine. Doesn't fit well.
One of his specialties are the custom suits and custom jackets.
They build them right there in the tailor shop. You're
going to have to go in there. He does it
for the Patriots, he does it for the basketball players.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, I'm I'm stop at eleven to one on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, and you know your quads, your Quadzilla, So you're
not gonna be able to wear regular pants now I
don't fit the pants. You'll have to have them made
around your quads, which is very impressive.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Mex got a nice suit there, compliments of Bill Costa
the regulation last year.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Yeah, So eleven to one on Sunday, and Jenny Johnson
and I will be there because also we're going to
be signing copies of our cookbook, A Taste of Boston,
which by the way makes a perfect Christmas gift.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
I'm just saying, are they going to be having food there?
They'll have something there, maybe some pie.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
And this is one of six pies that you'll find
on the menu Rose but in Summerviver one of Daily Base.
That's a lot of pie making. Rachel Ghibli any relation
to Ghibli's Fine men's clothing And yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
You are, Oh my god, I was kidding.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
How did that come from? I guess his sister makes pies.
All right, Well, he'll have stuff there.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
He'll have food and he has a beautiful coffee bar.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yes, a beautiful bar. So yeah, eleven to one on Sunday,
come on by, we can hang out.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
I'll be there. I'm going to Mob Deep in ray
Quan at the House of Blues tomorrow night.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
There you go. Who are they? I'll be rappers. That's right,
it's gonna be a rowdy show. Mob Deep, Mob Deep. Yeah,
what's up ray Kwan? What's his big song? Mob?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
It's half a mob Deep because one of them passed
on rip to Prodigy.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
He passed.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Oh you still have Havoc and then you have ray Kwan.
You're going to who are you going? All my best friends?
Oh okay, that's a fun night. I actually get a
recommendation on where to eat in and around Fenway because
it's at the House of Blues.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
You do, uh, Johnny's at Fenway Johnny's.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yeah, Oh that's a good option. You got to go
to Fenway Johnny's. The place will be mob Okay. Does
he understand the amount of food that we'll be eating?
Then he'll be ready for you. Sure, if you want,
I can make a call in advance. No, nope, nope, nope,
I'm good. I'm good. You do enough favorites for me.
But yeah, I'll be there. So we're waiting for Melody
to call back with two wy's the last one. Last
hour called with one minute left.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I know you gotta.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Listen if you enter on the ticket tag for the
VIP sold all jingle Ball tickets, you gotta enter and
then you gotta listen.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yeah, the winter There was less than a minute left
of the fifteen minute time, right, So I think I said,
you know, she got in by the skin of her teeth.
I never understood what that meant. You don't have any
skin on your teeth? No, you don't. It's good. Where
the hell did that come from? I will we'll see
if she calls, I'll look it up.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Bill, I love billion, Lisa kiss.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
All right, justin let's play with the headlines.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Yeah, I got some real or fake headlines? You maybe
the judge?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
You tell me.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
How about this one Columbia Sports where it's pledging to
give the entire company to anyone that can prove that
the Earth is flat?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Oh, this is always the debate.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Makyrie irvings the Earth was flat? Yeah, several celebrities think
that the Earth is flat, but no one has been
able to prove it.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Right, I'm going to say that this is true based
on that.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I'm gonna say it's false based on the fact that
why do they want to risk of their company, likely a.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Billion dollar company? Yeah, you say no, Bill, you go
either way?

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Right, Okay, I'm gonna say fake. Okay, Well, at least
got it. Of course.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
There's a new ad from Columbia Sports Where that challenges
flat earther is. They're often the gift offering to give
the entire company to anyone who can journey to the
edge and bring back proof that the Earth is flat.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
It's the CEO.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
Hi, i am Tim Boyle. I'm the CEO here at
Columbia Sports Where. And this message is for flat earthers.
You guys claim there's an.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
End to the earth.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
We'll just go snap a picture, send it to us,
and you get the assets of the company, all of it.
No paperwork, no lawyers, no catches.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
There is some paperwork.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Hey, we're giving you all this, Chris at all.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
There's a flat earther at my gym, one of the
gyms that I go to. He believes the earth is flat.
He'll talk all day about it, explain everything is fake
to him.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yeah, well, good luck trying to collect from Tim. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
I can't believe that the like didn't side with me
on this one.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Well, he's a mush good thing. He didn't. Why would
you want to risk your company?

Speaker 7 (06:06):
Man?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I know, because he is very clear on the fact
that the earth is round.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I don't think he's willing to pay the bet though. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
There's also another one. There's a million there's a million
dollar offer that's still standing to anyone that can prove
that spirits exist or ghosts exist, or that they can
talk to the other side, something like that, and no
one has been able to claim that money.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Who's the famous person that believes it's flat.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
There's been several. Kyrie Irving was one. You've gotten some
controversy for that. Yeah, all right. Next up headline real
or fake? Billy and Lisa, I ask you all day Bagels,
A food stand is being sued because they're not open
twenty four to seven.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
I like this one. I am going to go with
it's true.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Me too, I'm going true on Yeah, the name.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I think it's true, but it also came from my head.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Come on, justin fake. That was funny though. That was good, right, Yeah,
I like that. This should be true.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
That's what I do.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
It should be real, producer, all right, impressive. One more hair.
This one may or may not stump you. This is
not a joke. Well maybe a baby seal walked into
a bar and would not leave. That is the headline.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I think I saw this? You think are you know?
I think I saw this?

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Okay, going real?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Some weird news source.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Are we going real?

Speaker 8 (07:38):
Bill?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
I'm gonna go real. I can't make you go with
me because again I am the mush but.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
This is I usually do.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Because he says he thinks he saw it, think I
saw it?

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Well, he is the newsman. So I'm going to go
with Bill, and I'm going to say that it's real.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Okay, Joe and justin.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Okay, this is a real story out of New Zealand.
Once again, a baby seal walked into a bar the
other day, would not leave. Someone ran home to get
a dog crate and they used salmon to lure it in.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Here's the manager of the pub.

Speaker 9 (08:10):
The pubs and a baby steel just walked in the
front door by itself. From there, the seal wandered around
through the bar and it was salmon on the pizza.
So when we were trying to get the seal into
the crate, I just went to my fiance. I said,
grab the salmon, Grab the salmon.

Speaker 8 (08:22):
We'll put it in there.

Speaker 10 (08:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (08:23):
I think we've just enjoyed the feedback and how much
the community has loved it. It's just so funny that
I decided to come to a pub and it's a
craft beer pub as well.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Obviously wanted to drink.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
There's National Bartender's Day too, So that's right, Salmon on
the pizza.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
I love New Zealander.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah, they're great. I bought that a baby seal. It
does sound like a joke, right, it is a joke.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
So baby seal walks into a bar, settles up to
the bar.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Bartender says, so what'll it be?

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Seal says, anything but Canadian Club on the rocks.

Speaker 7 (08:57):
Come on, Lisa, the entertainment update with a Billy copstad
on Kids run Away.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
So the New York Post is a reporting now to
Taylor Strift and Travis Kelcey. The wedding will happen June thirteenth,
And we knew that rightly.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
We I think they could have possibly gotten this from
us because we have an inside source who gave us
the date and also gave us the fact that the
Ocean House will be a part of the wedding that weekend,
and that a bride had to give up her date
and was given a free wedding.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, this is the shocking part of it that Taylor
thought to find out who had that date. She was
thirteenth that Ocean House and that was her dream to
have the wedding there. She reached out to the Ocean
House and then reached out to the couple who had
it booked and paid them up.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Well, I think Ocean House reached out to the couple
because the couple didn't know specifically that it was her,
but they do know that it is her because of
the date and of the fact that Watch Hill is
were her house is what do.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
You think they paid to have a couple cancel their.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Wedding although it's for it's a free wedding.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
All I want all I want to know how many thousand.
I don't think just the free wedding would have been enough.
Would it have been for you, Lisa? If it was
your wedding?

Speaker 3 (10:07):
I think that I would have added a few things
to it.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
We'll see. Yeah, the honeymoon. Yeah, let me give you
a list. I have a honeymoon swift.

Speaker 11 (10:17):
Yeah. I actually got a call from somebody else after
we put our anonymous source on and they said that,
I don't know if it was the same person that,
but they said that she also paid for the honeymoon,
like they had more details and they added, yeah, so
it was the wedding that they paid for. The wedding
and the honeymoon.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Fiji, the Maldives, and I don't think it stops there.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
They paid for the date, the dress, everything.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Maybe the ring. Right, that's very cool.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
It is very cool.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
And to think that part of it came from the
billion leeds. The Morning Show, we had a talkbacker anonymous
that gave us the dirt.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Wait, what if Taylor has agreed to perform at her wedding?

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Oh right, what if I would have made that a demand?

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Right, that would be so cool.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Okay, pay for my wedding and you come perform shop,
do a couple songs.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
You know that conversation would say there's a price for everything. Yeah, okay,
well here's my price. You need to perform at the
wedding that would have been cool or at least invited
to the wedding something. Suddenly, I'm so invested in this wedding.
Is what we do. Gossip, we do it?

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Well, oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Speculate a little bit. Earlier on the show, we talked
about the Google search the most searched things on Google
for twenty twenty five. I should mention Taylor Swift had
three of the top five songs, including a Fate of
Ophelia and wood was the number one searched song of
twenty twenty five. And that was a fairly recent song,

(11:49):
right Riley, You're the swifty in the house.

Speaker 11 (11:51):
Yeah, well, it was off her latest album, The Life
of a Showgirl. But I think people were also searching
for it because it's obviously a song about Travis and
there's like some underlying like double entendres there, but it's
also like it is a love song, and I think
people wanted to know the lyrics, which is why it
was so searched.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
But I don't think they were searching the song. They
were searching the song because of its certain.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Well, because it was so cleverly written.

Speaker 12 (12:17):
Wood Tree and his love was the key to open.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yeah, well, she originally a redwood tree.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
No, she originally went in as knock on wood, that's
the phrase. But then it swiftly, I don't think turned
into something else.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
I don't think love opened her eyes.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
It was the It was the redwood tree.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
What is that you the.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Next like the next weekend, like at the game, there
were like so many memes of him like.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Yeah, yeah, I was Yeah. I never been referred to
as that branch. I should mention. The Kelsey Brothers broadcast
New Heights was also the most searched podcast on Google
of a twenty twenty five. Raven Linnay is coming to
jingle Ball next week and she's featured on the Google
search list and also on the Forbes list of thirty

(13:07):
under thirty. We got a lot of big stars coming
in for jingle Ball next Sunday. That's amazing, and also
on the Forbes thirty under thirty list. Benson Boone, Doci,
Alex Warren, Noah Khan Leve coming in for jingle Ball
and Olivia Dean coming in for jingle Ball justin, Can
I get that Olivia Dean thing that you had earlier?

(13:28):
Is that too much to ask of you? Well?

Speaker 4 (13:29):
She performed at Westminster Abbey. Yeah, and I watched the video.
It's actually really incredible. I hope we can kind of
talk to her about this experience.

Speaker 11 (13:38):
It was.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
It was pretty much unbelievable. Oh it's not there, hold on,
it disappears. Oh we're gonna find it. I'll find it. Yeah,
I'll find a minute. Should I move on while you
find it?

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Yeah? You should? Okay, Sorry to bother you, No, I'm kidding.
Mighty Cyrus went on Fadlin last night. Apparently she's got
a phobia for paper. Check it out.

Speaker 8 (13:59):
Christmas unknown as a little bit of a grinch, because
I have a qualm with Christmas?

Speaker 1 (14:03):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (14:04):
I hate paper?

Speaker 11 (14:06):
Like looking at that makes you want to vomit, don't
even do it?

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Should ay worse? Moving it?

Speaker 9 (14:13):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
And then the real problem for me with paper is
when when people have.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Dry hair, dry hands and.

Speaker 12 (14:22):
They touch paper, and then it's Christmas and it's cold.

Speaker 11 (14:24):
And everyone's hands are dry and they're all touching paper.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
So she's talking about Christmas justin and I think, now
you have Olivia Dean singing about Christmas dress a plum.
Can you imagine living with Olivia Dean?

Speaker 11 (14:46):
Right?

Speaker 1 (14:46):
And you're sitting around having a hot toddy by the tree,
and she can just sing like that too beautiful. Oh my, oh,
my dad's favorite song and my dad's so Lisa had
we had another moment. It's a big day for soccer
fans today. Today's the World Cup draw. It happens in DC.
President Trump is going to be there, but so is

(15:08):
Tom Brady. I think Gronk is going there too today.
So we'll see what happens. Keep in mind, the majority
of the games will take place in eleven US cities,
and we've got a bunch of the games, the matches
happening out at Chillette Stadium, and that all happens in
June right of next year.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Yeah, I'll be watching. Yeah, half soccer fan every four years.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
That's the same with me. I never watched a minute
of soccer, but when the games come along, I'm all in.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
Although my son isn't into like Messi and Ronaldo, he's
really into those two, so I try to find the
games and watch them with them.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, that's justin As Hillary Duff has a Vegas residency.
Three dates in February, more in May, three more in May.
She'll be at the Venetian in Vegas. Patriots have the bye.
We keep that in mind when you're looking for football
on Sunday. The Lions beat the Cowboys. Last night forty
four p thirty was the final Bruins won a game.

(16:05):
They beat the Blues, and the Blues are coached by
Montgomery right, who used to coach the Bruins. They won
five to two last night. And now this you now this? Yes,
I wanted to share it with the group if I could.
I caught myself crying yesterday while watching Office Christmas Party Go.

(16:26):
Can anyone explain that to me? This is a hilarious movie.
Which part and I'm trying to remember the part of
the movie that had me welling up? You don't remember? No,
I think it all ended well for everybody. But yeah,
and for the record, I also watched another episode justin
you're so far behind of the Diddy documentary.

Speaker 10 (16:48):
My wife wants to watch it with me. Oh yeah,
we're going to wait this weekend Episode two that I
watched yesterday. It's got Tupac. It's got the Tupac death Biggie.
It's all about Biggie and the rivalries and everything. So yeah,
you got to check it out and we're brought to
you by Wilson Farm. Santa Claus is coming to Wilson
Farm in Lexington. Get your holiday photo with the jolliest.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Guy in town. Santa is going to be there. Well, no,
I'm doing an appearance kidding about the jolliest guy in town.
Santa's going to be there. Okay, good, thank you. He's
there December sixth and seventh. And while you're there, pick
out the perfect tree and all your holiday decorations. Celebrate
the season at Wilson Farm. Just go to Wilson Farm
dot com and there you go. Oh my god, Santa here.

(17:35):
I know him.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
I know him from the planet Fitness Kiss one of
eight studios.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Hey guys, so welcome back. So we've been goofing around
with this new iHeart rewind and it's actually kind of cool. Lisa,
you got a message from somebody.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Okay, so someone posted on their story yesterday, Lindsey, I'm
going to give her a shout out.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Should I say her last name?

Speaker 1 (18:01):
I don't know, is it part of her handle? It is? Then? Yes?

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Okay, Lindsay goant Okay, Lindsay hey, Lindsay. Okay.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Her top podcast of the year was Billy and Lisa
in the Morning Minutes Listen one, four hundred.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
And fifty nine. Well, thank you, Lindsey, Thanks Lindsay.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Thank you, Lindsey. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
When you go on, it has the rewind feature, so
just open the app. It should be right there on
the home screen. If not, hit the little notifications bell
at the top and it'll come right up.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Rewind.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
It'll tell you all the analytics of the year, how
many minutes you listen, how many talkbacks you left, all
the songs podcasts you listened to.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
It's pretty cool. We want to hear about it.

Speaker 13 (18:36):
Good morning and a happy Friday. It's Mike from New Hampshire.
I left eighty three talkbacks this year and I also
listened to Kiss want to wait for thirty seven thousand
and ten minutes. Oh wow, I'm in the top ten
percent listeners of the radio station.

Speaker 7 (18:52):
Love It.

Speaker 13 (18:52):
Keep doing a great job. You can't wait for more
in twenty twenty six, love you.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
It's a lot of minutes.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
That's Mike Blow.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
It's like gloves lindsayet right out of the water.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Yeah I think so. Yeah, Holy smokes. Justin.

Speaker 14 (19:05):
I apparently left three hundred and sixty six talkbacks this year.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
That's a lot.

Speaker 14 (19:12):
And I've listened to you guys for over thirty thousand,
one hundred and sixty four minutes.

Speaker 7 (19:17):
This is really cool to check out.

Speaker 15 (19:19):
But should I be concerned?

Speaker 3 (19:22):
I love you guys. I think there's a little talkback
addiction there.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Yeah, it is, it is. Yeah, and I think we
might have first and second place there. Mike was thirty
seven thousand and she's thirty thousand.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Well, I think Kim found her way to the rewind feature.
Let's see what she got Happy Friday.

Speaker 16 (19:38):
This is Kim Okay figured out how to find out
the talkbacks I did one hundred and seventy four. Does
this count as one hundred and seventy five?

Speaker 1 (19:45):
It must?

Speaker 16 (19:47):
I talked about my toes toho, I talked about getting
employee a month after forty five years. I have no
idea what the other one hundred and seventy two were.
I know I did embarrass my daughter yesterday by talking
about conceiving her in a parking lot after were Christmas piety.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
So there's that.

Speaker 16 (20:02):
So guess swats I'm just going to keep on talking.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Yeah, you care. So she's the one with the hideous toenail.
She's the tell ho.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Yeah, she came to my house. You know, she walked
for the ninety plus sellers wine tasting. Oh and we
checked out our feet.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
How they look.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
They look fine.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
You know what's cool. We've created this community pea nice feet,
and we definitely have and it can really tell you
a lot about what you did over the course of
the year and how much of it you did. It's
a rewind if.

Speaker 5 (20:28):
You have good morning. I just checked out my iHeartRadio
rewind And I am definitely a podcast girl because my
number one podcast was the Billy and Lisa Morning Show
podcast and that's basically what I listened to on iHeartRadio.
And apparently I listened for seventeen thousand, four hundred and

(20:49):
fifty five minutes and I left one talkback. So now
this is number two. Love the podcast, Love you guys.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Oh she's got to do more talkbacks now. But yeah,
a lot of people forget you can listen to us
any time of the day on the podcast.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
Yeah, we have a lot of podcast listeners. You know,
for whatever reason, they can't listen in the morning live,
so they listen later on in the day.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
You can listen anytime. You're just cruising around.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
Right, you're at the gym, yeah, anywhere.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
And then obviously don't forget. The end of the year
is coming. We're going to have our Talkbacker of the
Year award, which we still have to figure out. That's
gonna be a tough one.

Speaker 17 (21:23):
Hey, it's wedding down Leslie. All right, So I'm going
to start this campaign early. I know it's a bit
before the fact, but I'm going to nominate the Mayor
of the South End for Talkbacker.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
He can't win again. He won last year.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
That's the rule.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
I mean, I'm creating it. You want to be.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
I think he I mean, well, if he's, if he's,
if we're gonna let him in the running, then he's
gonna win.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Well, he should win because he gets up earlier than
anyone else.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Right, how about this. We open up the number one slot,
but we give the Mayor of the South End a
Lifetime Achievement Award. This is a good idea. They do
this at all the awards, right, Okay, the Icon Icon
Icon Awards.

Speaker 17 (22:03):
All right, again, I don't think anybody else has come
close this year. And that gay guy that loves Billy.

Speaker 8 (22:11):
So there was a girl.

Speaker 17 (22:12):
I think her name is Kim. She's pretty funny, but
she hasn't been leaving that many or for that long.
So hey, I think you got to pick the mayor again.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Okay, we'll have to work that around. Yeah, there's a
there's a few really solid ones. I mean Kim, who
we just heard from, and then the mayor, and then
also the Billy's gay lover.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Oh yes, oh you know the lover. Morning guys, especially Billy,
how you doing? Listen?

Speaker 8 (22:35):
Guys are talking about stealing and stuff, but what about
people stealing.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
From me like Billy when he stole my heart in dignity?

Speaker 7 (22:42):
Bil.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
You know, if I were that way, I would date
this guy. I certainly feel loved. Hey, yeah, he loves you.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
So yeah, we'll have to figure out to figure out that.
I like the idea of the mayor winning the Icon Award.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
It's very fitting.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
I feel it's not fair to all the other people,
even though he you know, he's very consistent, he's very funny,
and he's great.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
He did win last year. Yeah, so win or lose,
I mean, we could have an Icon Award.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
Okay, I'm all for that. So yeah, listen, go on
the iHeart app, check out the rewind. Let us know
all your analytics. How many minutes you listened the talkbacks
you left? This is a fun thing, right.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Oh yeah, it was always running for the kitchen doors.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Exit, No, the exit.

Speaker 16 (23:35):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
I love lyrics. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
Did you see that he performed at the Kennedy Space
Center this past week and there were rocket ships going
off behind him while he was performing.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
God, he's had a cool year. Yeah, pretty cool. Anyway,
some talkback leftovers.

Speaker 18 (23:50):
Say morning crew, Nurse Fiona here. I just wanted to
say thank you for having me on your after show
podcast again. I always have so much fun with you guys,
and I hope you guys enjoy your skincare goodies that
I brought in. And I'll see you guys at jingle
Ball and also Justin I'll see you and your wife
pretty soon for your boatox and leisure. I can't wait

(24:11):
to see you again, buddy.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Yeah, yeah, she was amazing.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
She brought gift bags.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Yeah, all this really great skincare.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
She has her own product line and she had a
body scrub which is coconut and coffee.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Yes, I used it last night. It was fantastic.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
It smells so good.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
It was now doing body scrumps.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
I'm telling you, I smelled it. It smelled so good,
and I used it a little bit on my face,
but on my body.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
You get the after shaved stuff. She said.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Yeah, she has a product line called the Man for Men.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
And she did the after show podcast. You can listen
to it. It was really cool. She answered questions about you know,
aging and skin and boatox and weight loss. iHeartRadio app
Billy and Lisa the after show.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
She is such a cool lady.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Yes and yes, my wife and I are doing a
couple's date to the medspot in Framingham and I'm going
to get my Lai hair and mobile for my back
because it's disgusting, and my wife's going to get some boattoks.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
You know. I did something weird at Nurse Fiona once.
I lied on a bed next to one of the
mccordy twins. It was Devin mccordy. Yeah, and we both
got ivs, you know, like banana bags or the equivalent
at Nurse Fiona. So we're both lying next to each other.
We're getting facials while we're having IV's together.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
It was a moment, a special moment. It was a
mo Devin mccorty. I watched that video, so okay, that's
a little weird too. I was a little bit weird
about buy it.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
It's almost weirder than me lying down with Devin. You
watching the video anyway. Shout out to Nurse Siona.

Speaker 7 (25:38):
Hi, guys. I just want to say that I've been
listening to you all for the past four weeks since
my friend reminded me that the morning show is really good,
and I haven't listened to you guys since I was
in middle school. So I just wanted to say thank you,
and I think you're my new favorite morning show.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Well, thank you for listening. And welcome yeah, welcome back.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Yeah yeah. Sometimes people leave and they come back. A
lot of times people move out of the Boston and
they don't know that they listen to us anywhere in
the world.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
So true.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
You know, we were just talking about the iHeart app
a couple of minutes ago in the rewind. You know
that's something that it's on your phone. You know, you
can take it where, you take it with you everywhere
you go in the whole world.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Well, this week we had calls from Liechtenstein and Germany
and people all over the world listening.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Where is that woman she's supposed to call in every
country she goes to.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, her next stop is today, where is she?

Speaker 3 (26:27):
We're a little slice of home, that's right, we really.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Are, Yeah, we really are.

Speaker 19 (26:31):
Just want to say happy fortieth birthday to me and
my twin sister, and that I wouldn't be able to
get through everything without her because I found out right
before this week when I turned forty, that my husband's
been cheating on me and now I'm single mom at forty.
So here's to a new chapter at life. And happy

(26:51):
birthday to my twin sister.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Oh that's got us. So you hate to hear kids
one away.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
It's the morning rap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
So our topic time today was all about fears because
Miley Cyrus says there, our biggest fear is paper, and
the holidays is a tough time for her because of
people wrapping paper. And so we opened our phone lines
and our talkbacks to our listeners. We never know what's
going to happen, what everyone is going to say. But
sure enough, there weren't a lot of fears.

Speaker 8 (27:20):
Hey, you guys, super rare. I think only two people
in the world have it. But my biggest fear in
life is chicken parm on the first date, we.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Guess that's who the other person is.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we got them right here in the studio.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Yeah, i'd be your co host, Bill never on the.

Speaker 19 (27:37):
First Good morning.

Speaker 15 (27:39):
Here's one of my phobias. It's going to sound weird,
but I do live on an island, and I am
afraid of the middle of the ocean and afraid of
a tsunami. Very scary just picturing what that would look like.
I can't even look in the ocean when I'm on
the boat going to the island.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Wow. Well, I love the middle of the ocean, but
tsunami's definitely terrifying fear.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
I had a tough time watching some of the tsunami
videos from the past.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, well, did you watch The Impossible with Naomi Watch?

Speaker 1 (28:12):
I couldn't watch it.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Oh my god, that was terrifying multiple times.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
It's a classic movie.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
It's based on the true story.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
It's very frightening.

Speaker 12 (28:20):
Hey, guys, it's Tanya. I definitely have a fear of
the balloons. It's not about the texture, it's the popping.
I don't even like them.

Speaker 7 (28:30):
In the same room as me.

Speaker 12 (28:31):
I'm just constantly petrified that they're gonna pop, and I
don't like it, so I'm with them at all costs.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Balloons. I guess a lot of people have a thing
about balloon it's the popping. Okay, Hey Minley with the paper.
Maybe she's afraid of paper cuts. Well that too, paper cuts.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Well, if your hands are dry, yeah, oh a lot of.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Paper cuts, now that I think about it, it is
kind of bothersome if you're you know, the dry hands
on the paper.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
That's yeah, true, I kind of get it, Okay.

Speaker 14 (29:02):
I think I might have a strange phobia, if you
want to call it that. It's kind of licking or
putting my tongue on the wood of a popsical stick
or those wooden sticks that come wooden spoons that come
with the Italian ices. I just never could do that
without kind of getting the the he b TV's.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
Yeah, the eck. I can see that.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Too, splinter on the tongue. It's gonna suck.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
Yeah, uh yeah, I'm trying to think of that. It
doesn't bother me, but I know the taste I can
get to yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, yeah, good one.
Good Phobia's. Also this morning, we talked about the iHeartRadio Rewind.
If you have the app, if you're a talkbacker or whatever,
you can open the app and they have the rewind

(29:48):
which shows all your analytics for the year, the minutes
you listened and how many talkbacks you left, and people
were speculating on who the Talkbacker of the year would
be going to be. The mayor of the South End again,
good morning.

Speaker 20 (30:00):
It's the mayor of the Cell Bend.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Well, I hear all.

Speaker 20 (30:04):
My voting fans voting for me, and I don't know,
justin whatever you want to do talkbacks this year? Limitless
time on kiss oneawaight, limitless, So vote for me.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
I'll set you free.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
We might give him the Icon Award.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
I feel like it's not fair to give it to
him again, even though he is our top talkbacker.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Well, I think we're regardless of the outcome, an Icon
award is definitely.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
He's worth absolutely Hall of Famer right there.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Yeah, and then we have a lot of people checking in.
We can't even get to the mall that are leaving talkbacks.
With the minutes listened. We had upwards of twenty thousand.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
Minutes thirty seven thousand. That was the highest until now.

Speaker 20 (30:48):
Hi, this is Shanna.

Speaker 15 (30:50):
I'm apparently a very avid listener.

Speaker 7 (30:51):
I just checked the rewind forty three thousand, one minutes
that first place.

Speaker 19 (30:56):
Right now, I'll have to find out.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
I believe it is.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
She's number one right now. Yeah, I'm looking for the
other ones there. I'm seeing a lot of thirty thousands,
not nothing higher than twenty seven thousand, nothing higher than
forty three.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
And have a great weekend, everybody, do a lot of shopping,
have a lot of fun, go see the lights. It's
the holiday season. Just dress warm. Boy. I just sounded
so small, Marcus, so like you may make sure you
bundle up and you became them. Yeah, say we want
to save bill. Have a great weekend, bitches. Yeah, okay, bitches,

(31:29):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
