Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
Right now, Lisa Dunohan is going to take us to
the beautiful town of Stowe, Massachusetts. There's something going on there, Lisa.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Okay, this is good news for Stowe, Massachusetts. Remember our
buddy Matt Sharer from w b Z absolutely okay. Remember
he reported that the two Duncan branches closed within thirty
days of each other back in twenty twenty two in Stowe, Massachusetts,
and everyone in the town was really upset.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I think we got match here. Right down of Stowe
is a Duncan desert.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
There is no more Dug Donuts and Stove, absolutely none.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
Those bastards.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Up until this year they had two. Now they're both closed.

Speaker 5 (00:34):
Neighbors are handling it like you might expect.

Speaker 6 (00:36):
Yeah, it sucks.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
There's nothing fun to do, and Duncan Donuts was the
one place where everyone likes to go bummed out.

Speaker 7 (00:43):
Yeah yeah, because I've been traveling further away to go
to Duncan Donuts.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
Yeah yeah, you already have to travel now over a
mile and a half.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Well, you know it's a small town when they're going
to Duncan for fun exactly.

Speaker 8 (00:56):
Well, I have good news, guys.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
There is a new Duncan op in Stowe, Massachusetts on
Great Road.

Speaker 8 (01:02):
And here's the fun part.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
The day they open July twenty fourth, next week, they're
going to rename the town Duncan, Massachusetts for the day.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Oh I love that.

Speaker 8 (01:12):
It's so cute.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
That's so cute.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Wow, what a turnaround.

Speaker 8 (01:16):
Yeah, they got it back.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
That's awesome. Yeah. Did they have Matt she here to thank?

Speaker 8 (01:21):
I hope they need to invite him. He should like
do the ribbon cutting of the new yesh I believe
he's going.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Oh good, Yeah, he posted about it. I did see
that Instagram.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
By the way, Matt Sheer works right down the hall
and it's just a station WBZ News Radio. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
You know, I spent a lot of time in Stow
as a youth.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
Really there.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Moved there when we were children, and I spent a
lot of summers in Stow. There's not much there is
it route too, it's I mean it, yeah, it's actually
don't know where it is.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, there's a good golf course there. We've gone to, like,
you know, tournaments.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Well, there's probably more going on there now than when
you used to go to Stow.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Is it a cousin, Yeah, I guess so. We used
to go to a movie theater and Maynard. How I
knew Maynard was right next door to it?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
You would drive there?

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Yeah, it was my father would take me in my
own Oh okay, yeah, memories as a kid.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
But good for Stow.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
We're happy for them now that you're going to drive
in my own.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Duncan's bastards, Bastards.

Speaker 8 (02:22):
Billy A Lisa every morning.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Just when I wait, hey, we're back.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
We've got our friend Tom Cotter in studio with us.
Welcome back home, Tom.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Welcome back Hotter, like it like welcome back Carring. This
is great.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
So I got to tell everybody a big show is
this tonight or tomorrow night?

Speaker 9 (02:38):
Both tonight, one show at eight thirty tonight and then
six and eight thirty tomorrow night.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
All right, very special event with Tom Cotter from America's
Got Talent and h Lenny Clark. So you can go
to Giggles tickets dot event bright dot com and get
your to it's gonna sell out. I don't have to
really sell this show.

Speaker 9 (02:56):
Almost always does when Lenny's on the marquet. Oh my god,
I gotta be a blizzard for them to sell out there,
and Giggles is legend out there on Route one. So
Lenny and I, you may or may not know, grew
up together in Cambridge.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
I'm sorry to hear that.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I know, I know, and we went to high school together,
and you know, we've known each other for years and years.
So I was on the vineyard last week on vacation
and Lenny, as it turns out, I didn't know in advance,
but Lenny had a show there at.

Speaker 9 (03:23):
The Marthas Vineyard Film Society. We discussed you exactly great place.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
And a handful of my friends were going to the show,
and so I, you know, I texted Lenny to let
him know I was on the island and if you
wanted to go. He ghosted me. Oh my god, Lenny
Clark ghosted me right, So the degree that like a
day and a half later, he started texting me saying,
oh my god, Billy, I'm so sorry. You know, my

(03:48):
phone died. You know you never say that the phone
never dies. Well, okay, the phone died, and I'm only
on the island for one day, twenty four hours. I
had the show. And then I ghosted him.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Oh nice, right and that, and then he texted me back.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
To say, no, really, Billy, I hope you're not mad
at me. And and anyway, I finally texted him back
and I said, Lenny, you know, I'm sorry we missed
each other. But my friend said, and I'm being honest,
that he's the best he's ever been. He did a
full hour show, NonStop rapid fire, and they said he
was unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
The guy is a machine. I mean, he's unbelievable.

Speaker 9 (04:23):
He's his heart stopped like twice, I think, and here
he is out there crushing it all the time.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
He's unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
His wife story is that he almost died two or
three times.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah, I actually reached out to to Lenny to come
in to promote this weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Did he ghost you?

Speaker 10 (04:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
No, he said no. And saient Tom Tom that you
have that Lenny Clark doesn't have. You were on in
the Restroom, You were on America's Got Talent and you
were a finalist. Yeah, and you were invited back, weren't you. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
They've show's been good to me. I've got you know.

Speaker 9 (05:01):
It's nice to say. It was the runner up season
seven Sounds Good lost to a dog act on national television. O.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yes, I'm sorry I thought this.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
That's Okay, maybe it'd like you get up and kick
me in the growing too.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
You know.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
The good news is you came back.

Speaker 9 (05:14):
Yeah, I came back. Yeah, just Herpyes, I'm back to us.
You know, when you come in second to a dog act,
you do feel like number two I.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
Was shared that with you. It was devastating and I
will one day get over it.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Well, what is it that the dogs did that were
so good?

Speaker 5 (05:29):
The dogs were just adorable?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Oh that's nice, think you heckle me.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
That's very nice when you've taken your back there like
I don't have enough PTSD. Thank you? This is great.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Can I get one more dog? Mark?

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Dog got there?

Speaker 6 (05:45):
It is?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
What is it they did that was so good?

Speaker 5 (05:47):
They were adorable?

Speaker 11 (05:48):
W C.

Speaker 9 (05:49):
Fields famously said never try to follow a kid act
or an animal act.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, and he was right, and so.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
They were adorable. I liked the act.

Speaker 9 (05:56):
Uh here's the thing though, my season was twenty twelve.
They're dead now, so who really wants who the real
winners at the end of this There.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
The Rainbow bridge and I'm still here and kiss went away?

Speaker 2 (06:08):
So did you just have a W. C. Field reference?

Speaker 12 (06:11):
I did? I did.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Indeed, He's like from the thirties.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
He was the you know what, Hitler ruined that mustache.
He was the first guy.

Speaker 9 (06:20):
Then Charlie Chaplin had that mustache. Buster all them, Abin Costello,
Hitler had to ruin that mustache. That was a comedy mustache.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
You have one of the funniest bits I think I've
ever heard in comedy.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Okay, well you gotta get out more, but thank you,
appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Remember when they canceled the show, Baby It's cold outside,
and then at the same time, ironically, Cardi B's song
wop was number one in America while they were canceling
Maybe it's cold outside, and on stage you did a mashup.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
We have it.

Speaker 7 (06:54):
Let's start with the hardly offensive Christmas song written just
after World War Two. I really can't stay Baby it's
cold outside. I gotta go away, Baby, it's cold outside.
This evening has been so very nice. Yeah, you're talking
with some wht have a bucket and a moup for

(07:14):
this wet beat it up and we'd extra large, extra hard.
Put this right in your face, swipe your nose like
a credit card.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Now, irony, it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
The fact that you did that on stage, or the
fact that one song was canceled and the other was
number one in the country.

Speaker 9 (07:36):
That's my most viral video, that thing. And it's crazy.
I think people relate to just how crazy canceled culture is.
It's I've had friends that have been canceled. I don't
know how I've dodged that bulletin yet I haven't been.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
It's crazy. And now you know, every week there's someone else.

Speaker 9 (07:51):
The guy who just hosted the Oscar what was the
awards of Seane Gillis who I thought killed it kill
but you know, may have ruffled a few feathers there
and now people are like, oh, you know, they got
to cancel him now, and he lays already. They pulled
him off of the SNL cast they put him on,
and pulled him off of that because of something else.
It's just it's a weird time for comedians because we

(08:13):
have to dodge these bullets, but not as bad as
it wants.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
No, you're right, the pendulum is swinging back.

Speaker 9 (08:17):
You're right, Jil, and I'm so appreciative of that because
we need freedom of speech.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
And you know, people fight it.

Speaker 9 (08:23):
Chappelle's fighting it, Billy Burr's fighting it, but they go
home every night and sleep on a mountain and cash.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
There's a bunch of us who are road warriors out
here that need to you know, we need to work.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
But do you find it easier now? A little, a
little not as nervous about what you may have said
or maybe say terrified before.

Speaker 9 (08:39):
When I did a corporate event in the old days,
that was it. But now you have to have five
conference calls before you do one. You had to talk
to HR and everybody. Yeah, you just don't do anything homophomic,
xenophobic play and they go through this list and so
all they want you to do is self deprecate for
an hour, you know, do short jokes and you know,
et cetera.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
So Billy knows about that.

Speaker 10 (08:59):
Come on to.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Keep going back to the dog that do you have
nightmares about that? They not let me fasal break You
lost her coup. What kind of dogs were they?

Speaker 9 (09:14):
They were adorable dogs, bill adorable dogs or something. Yes,
And it's a great story. The guy who was a
little kid who taught a couple of dogs in the
street of Perue how to do tricks and he ended
up retiring.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
His father worked in a factory. He was the breadburner.

Speaker 9 (09:28):
He made more money as a street performer with these dogs,
and then he came joined the circus, jumped off the
train in America, and now won the million dollar prize.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
In real life, Tom, are you able to have a dog?

Speaker 5 (09:41):
People? They just it's good.

Speaker 9 (09:43):
It's a wound that won't heal. I called home from
the road the other day and I said to my wife,
what's the weather like back.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
In New York?

Speaker 9 (09:47):
And she said, it's raining cats and Talent Show Championship
And that's just not nice. It's I don't know, it's
domestic violence. Domestic violence.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Your wife is a comedian, she is, and how she doing?

Speaker 5 (10:00):
She's doing great.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Yeah, now you have this big show. Do you ever
have here? Come in and do the show with you?

Speaker 5 (10:05):
Forty is her.

Speaker 9 (10:06):
Own thing because she's you know, we make more money
when she's working in I'm working. But they, you know,
we get called in off the bench to do the
comedy team thing all the time because it's rare. There's
not a lot of that out there. The Lucy and
Desi and the Burns and Allen, you know, Gracie and.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
There's another old reference.

Speaker 9 (10:23):
I just turned forty in two thousand and five, but
I wait, a minute hold on another party.

Speaker 11 (10:29):
More than twenty years ago, when I was a teenager,
I saw a Tom Catter show and I thought it
was absolutely hilarious. All thought you were super, super funny,
and I'm so glad that you're still doing stand up
and still doing so well.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
See we're playing the dog bite Tom that we're also
playing that.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
Stuff there that was probably a sibling of mine or
something that for a moment.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
So who's funny are you or your wife? My wife?

Speaker 9 (10:57):
I have to say that if I ever was very
good more, Yeah, she's we did last Comic Standing. I
don't know if you remember that show. And she's further
on that show than I did. And don't think I
don't still hear about that at least weekly I.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Come to the dinner table. Yeah, I have a bigger
played Tom, okay, because I had a bigger run. Wow.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
My wife will tell you.

Speaker 9 (11:16):
Though I may have come in second on America's Got Talent,
I always finished first in the bedroom, and you know
they're very.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
No, no, I don't know what what.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
That's a good one because you got us laughing. I'm saying,
go with it tonight, Tom nothing funny about that, not
for her. Now, Tom, I'm sitting here looking at you, okay,
And I don't think I've ever looked at another man
and said this, but you you look jacked. You hit
in the gym like every day.

Speaker 8 (11:50):
I just keep looking at your arm, Harry Mark.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
As you sit there, mack wall big uh.

Speaker 12 (11:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
No.

Speaker 9 (11:59):
If I work in hour a night, If you can't
stumble into a gym for thirty minutes every once in
a while, that's pretty pathetic.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Tom's guns. Give me a flex there, Bud.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Yeah, get ready, here we go. This is for everybody.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
I can see you try. He couldn't make his stomach
roll like waves. That's pretty cool.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
I can do the boot jiggle too.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Oh I love that. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (12:23):
I work at the Pink Pony Clips, not looking at
Tiggles Comedy Club. One shouldar night too, should tomorrow anyway?

Speaker 12 (12:30):
Now?

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Okay, do you get to work with Lenny often?

Speaker 6 (12:34):
No?

Speaker 9 (12:34):
And you know he's the guy I looked up to
when I started here, and I and I mentioned your backstage.
His aunt was a sister of Mercy Anne sister and
she worked closely with my dad at Saint Joseph's Hospital
in Providence. Rhode Island, and so she became our babysitter.
When they go on trips, you had none for a
babysitter with them, and around no.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
They would pour our cereal and pour the milk, then
wake us up.

Speaker 9 (12:57):
We'd come down. It would be mush and then it
was just humility. And I went to a Holy Name
school and she was Sister Christine. The other nun was
teaching in the same school. She would come down and
make me say grace out loud. None of the other
kids had to say grace before lunch. I did humiliating
and then I had to go home with the nun
at the end of the day.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
It was just brutal. She lived with you. Yeah, they
lived in our house. Well, when my parents went away
for vacancy, the nuns lived in the house. We had
nuns living in our house, little penguins walking around.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
That's as Catholic as catholic.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
One of the first apologies I had to make was
a Giggles where I am tonight tomorrow with Lenny because
I did a joke about a priest and I had
to write a handwritten note to a woman in the
crowd who was offended and that was the first time
you want to talk to cancel culture Now that was
thirty five years ago. Wow, I had to write a
handwritten note saying I'm very sorry about that.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Did you not think I was going to get the
plug in there? Tom? Is that why you snuck it
in there?

Speaker 12 (13:49):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (13:50):
God? Yeah, yeah, I'm a master at that.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Tom Cotter. A very special event with Lenny Clark and
Tom Cotter. Did I mention a finalist on America's Got Talents?

Speaker 12 (14:01):
I know?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Anyway, two shows, one tonight one tomorrow night. For tickets,
go to Giggles tickets dot event bright dot com. Always
great to see it, Tom.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Thank you guys for having me and it's great. I
really enjoyed it. I appreciate it. And no more barking.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Thank you for him one more no.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
In the morning.

Speaker 8 (14:24):
To wait now the entertainment update with a Billy Cobstad.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Okay, a lot of Coldplay talk this past week, But Lisa,
this is interesting. You went to the first show out
at your Let's stadium for Coldplay, and you got invited
to an after party with Chris Martin, yes, and a
handful of other people. And while you were at the party,
you had a conversation. You met Kate Bosworth, the actress, right.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
We were standing next to the Tater Top bar and
she comes walking up and I look at her and
I'm like, are you Kate Bosworth?

Speaker 8 (14:55):
And She's like, yes, I am. I said, well, what
are you doing here? She's like, I'm in cohesive for
the summer. And now we know why.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
It turns out Kate Bosworth and Justin Long just had
a baby girl.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
They did through a surrogate, and maybe that's why she's here.
Maybe she's visiting family, having some wonderful family time. But congratulations.
So a lot of Kate Bosworth news who thought right?
And a lot of Coldplay news this week.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah, how happy is Coldplay? You're talking about that?

Speaker 12 (15:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (15:26):
Like this like they're at the.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Top of every newsfeed. Chris Martin, Coldplay, Chris Martin, Coldplay.

Speaker 12 (15:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Do we know anything new now about this couple that
we didn't know yesterday or last night?

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Well, there was a fake statement that was being circulated.
TMZ had it that that the company did not release
a statement.

Speaker 8 (15:46):
There's no statement.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Well it looks legit until you get to the end
and they quote a cold Play song, yeah boy, which
you know that kind of gave it away. Yeah, but
you can't trust the internet. But I will say that
not one of his sources have reached out to me.
I can't say where I got this information, but it
is apparently true that there's multiple footage, camera and camera

(16:10):
shots of the couple making out, touching each other, grabbing
throughout the whole night. So they were very aggressive with
each other. Sources are telling me so, and I have
an anonymous source as it happened too. I think knows the.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Woman we're not naming names woman, the woman that was
with the guy kiss camp.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Yes, and I have to tell you from being at
the show, those two screens were so visible. They were
huge on either side of the stage. Everyone everyone saw it.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Wow, Chis Martin must be just having a ball.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Well, he said, yesterday, he goes, God, he goes, Did
I just start something bad here?

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Oh, come on, gret I.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
Don't know how big the screen was in the original
shot that I saw, but then I saw one this
morning that showed from a different angle.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Well, oh boy.

Speaker 8 (17:03):
Chris Martin was cheated on famously by Gwyneth Paltrow.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
She ran on it.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yes, she was on Glee with Brad Fauchuk, who was
the executive producer of the show.

Speaker 8 (17:13):
Gwyneth was a guest star on it. Oh, I didn't know,
and they had an affair.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Well, that's right. She used to make appearances on Glee ying.

Speaker 8 (17:20):
And now she's married to Brad Fauchuck.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
She's married.

Speaker 8 (17:25):
No, he's handsome, he's actually from around here.

Speaker 13 (17:27):
She married.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
She married the guy she cheated with. Yes, wow, poor
Chris Mark. I know maybe these.

Speaker 13 (17:35):
Chogument like remember Amy and TJ from ABC.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Yes, it kind of gives me a similar vibe.

Speaker 13 (17:43):
Closely together, there are all these social events and they
start to have, you know, get too comfortable, being very touchy.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Wow, and then someone catches them. Right, Okay, we're gonna
move on. The new Smurfs movie hits theaters this weekend today. Actually,
don't forget. Rihanna is Smurfat. Her song is featured in
the movie. This song. Right, it's a very short song.

Speaker 13 (18:15):
Right, it's like a minute, maybe a minute twenty.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
So can you climb up the charts if you're just
a minute long?

Speaker 13 (18:20):
I mean, any song can go on the charts as
long as it's a considered a song.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
There's twelve words in the whole song. Really, yeah, don't forget. Also,
the new movie I Know What You Did Last Summer,
the latest one hits theaters today, and Jennifer Love hew
At is back with Freddy Prinz Junior.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Yes she is Bilks beautiful.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Oh doesn't she?

Speaker 6 (18:41):
Though?

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I saw her on the red carpet.

Speaker 8 (18:43):
It is Yeah, yep, it's like, oh, there she is.
Billy used to have a huge crush on her.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah, a bizarre crush. It sounds creepy.

Speaker 8 (18:50):
She came into the studio live, he like, couldn't.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
I couldn't certain himself. Yeah, you were right next to her.
For weeks, I just thought about Jennifer Love he It's
fear slowly and then she was on the red carpet
this week. The Odyssey movie Christopher Nolan doesn't hit theaters
until next July, and tickets for IMAX viewings are already

(19:13):
on sale. In fact, initial screenings are already sold out.
That's a year in advance.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
I have to say I saw them filming it in Iceland,
Like what a weird twist that is too. Matt Damon,
Tom Hollins, and day I were all in Iceland when
I was there finishing up the Odyssey.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
I remember you posting pictures saying, oh, look at that.
I'm looking at the they're.

Speaker 8 (19:29):
Shooting the movie, the trailers and everything.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Christopher Nolan is gigantic, but Matt Damon is our favorite, right, yep,
love them, Yeah, don't forget happy. Gilmore too arrives next Friday.
Travis Kelce has a cameo in the movie, and Adam
Sandler has nothing but praise for Travis.

Speaker 14 (19:47):
Travis is such a gentle, nice guy and funny as hell,
and he's like the guys I grew up with. He's
When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my
buddies in high school and just being able to and
say the things you want to say. And he's just
and he certainly is a stud. He's a great actor
and a great human able.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Bath on everybody. He is a stud I love. I mean,
he's a good time And all of a sudden we're
not seeing much of them.

Speaker 8 (20:19):
Well because they're just living their best life right now,
like as a couple.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Also, her dad had surgery, So dad right now major surgery,
quad quintuple. That's five five teries. I know we had five.
I think we have more than five bills we do okay, uh.
CBS yesterday announcing yes, it is canceling the Stephen Colbert Show.

(20:44):
They're going to shut it down next May. He mentioned
it last Before.

Speaker 15 (20:47):
We start the show, I want to let you know
something that I found out just last night. Next year
will be our last season. The network will be ending
the late show in May. And yeah, I share your feelings.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
I bet he does. The speculation is a lot of
the late night shows need to go back to entertainment
and away from politics. That's been a lot of the
hits and the reason why they say ratings have been
dropping for all those shows.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
I'm telling you James Cordon had it locked.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
It was sad to see him walk away the carpool
Karaoke because the majority of the focus of that show
was the social and the ads that they made.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
He was a genius, his show is genius. Jelly Roll
hosting Kimmel last night, he sang us on the features
all of the insults he's received. Jelly Rood is an
embarrassment to society. Chilly Rowl looks like a mythetic grabbing microphone.

(21:52):
Jelly Roll slim look up, looking more like a fruit
roll up Jellia Road has just lizful.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
White People's for white people.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
I love him And did he really lose more than
two hundred Yeah, and.

Speaker 8 (22:09):
He's still losing weight on the journey. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Wow, good for him. Lisa book Club event last night fabulous.
I saw the videos. You posted a total sellout.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Thanks to the Mandarin Hotel for hosting us, and doctor
Pericone for coming in for it, and like ninety plus sellers,
Wine and Dental Partners of Boston, Joson Maine, Dagger Wealth Management,
all of our sponsors were there.

Speaker 8 (22:30):
And yeah, so I asked him a question.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
He's the godfather of inflammation, and I asked him a
question because Tom Brady kind of put it back on
the map.

Speaker 10 (22:39):
And here, I'm really happy that this happened because it
was such a bad time for me when I came
out with my book. The medical doctors were furious with me,
the academics were furious with me, and the only people
that really got it was the average reader. And so
when you have a certain form of education, you feel
like you know it all is closed, and so that's

(23:01):
what happened. It was very difficult for me, and constant
harassment and whatever I did so it's nice to see
someone like Tom Brady not picking it up.

Speaker 8 (23:10):
Yep, she put it on the map.

Speaker 12 (23:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Nice.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
Oh but Bill, you know that your girlfriend Jennifer Love
Hewitt is on with Elvis Duran right now, you're kidding.
It was a fun fact for you.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (23:23):
Is she live in studio?

Speaker 4 (23:24):
YEAHO wow, wow.

Speaker 13 (23:27):
You should have requested Billy get an interview with her.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
I know, come on back, Jennifer love Hewett.

Speaker 8 (23:33):
Amazing.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I'm just saying what. We'll see you in the movie theaters. Yeah,
this weekend you can go see the movie.

Speaker 8 (23:37):
Bill, I'm happy she's back.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I'll see it at Sometimes you like horror movies, Yep,
I don't. I'm not going to go to the movie
theater to see it, although if I went anywhere it
would be showcasing.

Speaker 8 (23:47):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
But you have a Big Book Club announcement next weekly.

Speaker 3 (23:50):

(24:44):
there you go. He's welcome the adorable Jennifer Love here

Speaker 8 (24:48):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
We're back with a Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
On Kits one O eight and justin Billy and Lisa
have a story with your name all over it. This
could be your future, yours and Gen's future, right Lis exactly.

Speaker 8 (25:07):
Be careful This happened in Key West, Florida.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Key West, Florida has about two thousand chickens that run
around the city.

Speaker 8 (25:15):
They're the feral chickens. I'm not drinking this. This is
a true story. No, no, no, this is a true story.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
They close attention.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Cynthia Sosa stopped at an intersection because on July ninth,
she wanted to let a chicken cross the road. Another
driver angrily honked, sped past her and ran over the.

Speaker 8 (25:38):
Chicken, crushed it, crushed it to death.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
Upset, Cynthia Sosa chased the driver in her car, eventually
blocking their path and opening their door.

Speaker 8 (25:49):
Okay, she has been charged now with assault.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Now does this not sound like something that could happen
to your wife, jen One. Imagine if somebody runs over
one of your chicken, that would be her. It would
be yeah, you don't want to mess with my wife.

Speaker 10 (26:04):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Wait, so did the guy get in trouble for running
over the chicken?

Speaker 12 (26:07):
No?

Speaker 2 (26:07):
No, she got your chicken. Well, it's gauzan to say.
She tried to teach them a lesson by pulling out
beer mace bears. They sprang it directly into the passenger's face.
I mean oh god, this has you and New Hampshire
be what are the bear mes in Key Wes?

Speaker 4 (26:27):
So are there bears in keys?

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Lisa? You know everything there is to know about Key West.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
I've never seen a bear in Yeah, but you see
a lot of chickens on the road, a lot of
chickens they run around restaurants. What's kind of weird?

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Well, it's funny because you're talking about this, and very
often I see turkeys, right, We always see the turkeys
crossing the road, and obviously you stop and just relax
and let them cross. But there are people and they've
had them right behind me who will beep and I
want to get out of the car and strangle this
person because I'm like, so, what are you suggesting when

(27:00):
you're beeping? Are you suggesting I run over the turkeys
so that you can get to the nowhere that you're going?

Speaker 6 (27:08):
Like?

Speaker 8 (27:08):
Where are you going?

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Nowhere? Trust me? If you're honking and a family of turkeys,
you have nowhere to go and no one to visit.
Just so you know, if you're out there listening and
you're a turkey honker, okay, leave them alone.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
But also this has happened to me too, is you
stop for It was turkeys. Actually, yeah, I live in Salem,
New Hampshire, and people aren't paying attention and they think
that you're turning and they'll try to go around you. Luckily,
nothing bad happened. The turkeys were okay, but they almost
hit them.

Speaker 8 (27:39):
But that's what happened in usse women did that exactly.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
God, And I think the turkeys are beautiful as they
cross the road all over my e I love them everywhere.
I mean, they're very cool. They travel in a group
or as a family or something like that. But chickens
are so much smaller though.

Speaker 4 (27:53):
They are smaller. Yeah, although the cocks in my house
again pretty big.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Okay, that's personal mind out of the gutter.

Speaker 10 (28:04):
Have them?

Speaker 2 (28:05):
What the chickens? No cocks?

Speaker 4 (28:07):
No, yeah, you can'ts a joke ros. Yeah, we had
to get rid of two of them. We got nine chickens.
But when when you buy them, we don't know if
they're male or female. We had to get rid of two. Anyway.
The turkeys in New Hampshire around my house never bother anybody. Yeah,
that's my kids, no, never ever ever. They just walk

(28:27):
around right by you. But in Massachusetts they're aggressive.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Yeah, and I see it all the time in videos.
I've never been attacked by a turn.

Speaker 8 (28:35):
Well, I've seen turkeys chase people up my street.

Speaker 10 (28:38):
They do.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
Yeah, they're aggressive.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
All the time.

Speaker 13 (28:41):
City turkeys, That's what they are.

Speaker 8 (28:43):
They're angry. They're angry, very angry.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
They need to come to New Hampshire.

Speaker 8 (28:47):
Yes, they need more space.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Yeah, I need to go back to the vision I
have in my head of one of your chickens being
run over and Jen's reaction.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
I mean, it won't be pretty. Yeah, when she gets mad,
you just want to walk away. Would chase them, of
course she would in her car or like run after them.
She would probably both well, you know, whatever she had
to do. And she's she used to be a very
aggressive driver, like really really aggressive. It was actually a
real problem. She was a really aggressive I've told the

(29:18):
story before. But one time there was a car behind
her us in the fast lane and she wouldn't get
over and with the car pass and so I told
her to and she started yelling at me.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
I'm not I'm not getting over.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
She was.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
This is the early days. And so finally I go
get over. He's right behind you. So we moved over
a lane and the car went past us. It was
a police officer. Yeah, And she didn't realize it was
a police officer, and she put her middle finger up
to give the old flip the bird, and the cop
looked over and at the right. At the moment she
saw it was a cop, and she put her finger up,

(29:51):
the blue lights went on.

Speaker 6 (29:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Wow, So they pulled you over.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
They pulled us over, and the cop came to the
window and he goes, how old are you?

Speaker 8 (30:01):
That was the end of her aggressive driving.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
It took some time. Yeah, did you learn a lesson
that day? I think so. Well.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
She lived in Lawrence at the time, which if you
ever been to Lawrence, the driving is not nice there.
Everybody's angrying in a rush. We'll do what's all a favor.
Could you keep an eye on the chickens.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
I'm going to do my best. I'm going home today
to help with the chicken Well, Billy and Lisa kiss
all right, we've got the talk back leftovers justin and
you have a lot of them.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
Good morning. I was wondering, how do I register for
Lisa's book club with Jody Pico if I don't have Instagram?

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Well, Instagram is always the easiest way because we're posting
the link, the registration link on Instagram. You can go
to Lisa's book Club dot com, go to kiss oneawait
dot com slash Lisa's book Club.

Speaker 8 (30:48):

register for it.

Speaker 2 (30:52):

get it right.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Yeah, some people free to download. Yeah yeah, would you
say that's the best way?

Speaker 8 (31:00):
I would absolutely.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (31:02):
We do everything on social for the for at least's
book club.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
Yeah yeah, I mean you can make the Instagram just
for your book club exactly, you know, because there's gonna
be many more events coming.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
Up right least.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
Oh we have.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
I'm telling you we have next level authors coming up
starting in August with Jody Pico through the fall.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yeah, so hot tip.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Get Instagram absolutely because it's going to sell out fast.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
And of course we've been all over the side Gillette
Stadium cheating cold Play story. This thing was it was
our topic time yesterday. We'll have more on that in
the wrap up at nine. But that Coldplay incident may
be huge, but it's not the first cheating.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
The incident inside toilette, Oh good one. I love that
was a good one. They are so creative together.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
And of course our friend uncle Bill likes to drop
little uh little things on the air and then and
then move right on.

Speaker 12 (31:59):
Okay, wait a minute. Philly said he had an anonymous
source about someone that knows the woman, but then everybody
cut him off and he never got to tell us
what the person said. I think Billy needs to finish
his sentence.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Bill. All they said was that they know the woman.
Now I will be finding out more, but I can't
go on the air with it. Okay, that's we respect.
This is my anonymous source.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
I have an anonymous source too. I have an anonymous
source that said there there are multiple videos of the
couple kissing and all that stuff. So okay, who knows.
But we'll follow the story as it as it goes.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Yeah, is that it? That's all they talked about? Leftovers? No,
this is more. Okay, okay, you know everybody give him
that rush? Look no, no, no, no, no, no, Well
he's getting nervous, nervous, nothing for the left. We'll move
away from the call plage lette. Is that all right? Okay,
we'll do that.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Okay, Now, Bill, are you going to take a trip
anytime soon.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Okay, where's this? That's just a question. Fly anywhere?

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Yeah, I think I have a couple of plant Have
you thought about flying private? I have in the past
done it once or twice, but i'd have a hookup
now just what, good morning.

Speaker 6 (33:20):
It is your girl Jet Blue Anonymous. But I have
a confession. I'm now private jet Anonymous. I got a
new job. No, you want any tea on my ex company?

Speaker 5 (33:30):
Please?

Speaker 2 (33:31):
You're just kill it. No, jeflu Anonymous, I need you.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
She hooked me up last time.

Speaker 13 (33:38):
I canceled my Jet Blue credit card that costs me
nine dollars a year because she had the perks for free.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
Oh I'm so upset.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Your Jet Blue card cost you nine hundred dollars.

Speaker 13 (33:47):
The nine nine dollars once you get like the bags
for free inside. But then I had her, so I
canceled it because she was getting my.

Speaker 8 (33:53):
Bags for free.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Oh god, you were calling in favors from the number
I can text her right now. Wow, while she works
at a check company. Now, so her, we want to
take a private rucy stories. You can call in anonymously.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
Yeah yeah, yeah, Oh, I'm so sad.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Private is just there's nothing like it.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
I would imagine not cheapy that. Oh no, not cheap
at all.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
I wasn't paid. I was a guest.

Speaker 8 (34:18):
It's always going to be again. Yeah, okay, kids, away,
it's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 10 (34:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:28):

the wrap up we do every morning at nine forty
where basically, if you miss any of the show, which
starts at six a m. We'll give you everything that
you missed again every single morning.

Speaker 9 (34:41):
Just woke up on keep Cord and I'm so excited
I made it in time for the morning wrap up.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Well, thank you, welcome in. Here's what you missed.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
Well.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
The Coldplay affair cheating saga continues this story everywhere. We
kind of we didn't break the story yesterday, but we
got early word where the something happened at the Cowplay
show on Wednesday night. We were all over it and
that was our topic for topic time, right, craziest way
that you've been cheated on or have cheated Good morning.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
So many years ago, this guy got a hold of
me through my estrange cousin on Facebook because he wanted
me to see screenshots of inappropriate pictures and conversations between
my now ex husband and his lady and let me

(35:32):
know the type of man I was married too.

Speaker 6 (35:34):
So that was awesome.

Speaker 13 (35:36):
Wow, God, that nice. The guy reached out. Yeah, I
mean unless you think you shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
She's a snitch. Stitches get stitches. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Yeah, would you guys do that?

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Would you reach out?

Speaker 6 (35:49):
No?

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Wow, stay out of me. I like to stay out
of things, Stay out of it somehow and come back
to bite you. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
You don't want to get caught in the middle of things.
That's what I always say.

Speaker 6 (35:59):
You know, long time ago, I was the other woman
and one day an exterminator came to the house and
said they were there to get rid of the rats.
And I can't help but think that she sent the
exterminator to my house because there was no other explanation,

(36:20):
so she.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
Didn't have rats, I guess not, so she knowing it
was the other woman.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
There's a big difference between knowing and not knowing.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Well, I mentioned this earlier. There's this like growing trend
I see on social media of girls like I'm the
side piece, I'm the side chip, and they own it.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Yeah, like sorts of pride, which is kind of dirty.

Speaker 13 (36:38):
If you ask me, I think we'll be coming to
sensitized as a human race, so we're not, you know,
like in general.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
Yeah, it's a whole new world out there, that's for sure.
And yeah, the Coldplay thing, the story, it's going to continue.
It has legs, it's running, it's on every media outlet,
so and hopefully we'll have more developments Monday morning.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
Absolutely, Tom caught her a very funny, funny guy. He
was runner up on America's Got Talent. He'll be at
Giggles this weekend tonight, two shows tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Go see.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
He's gonna be with Lenny Clark, which we love. And yeah,
runner up on America's Got Talent. And his wife is
a comedian too. My wife will tell you.

Speaker 9 (37:12):
Though I may have come in second on America's Got Talent,
I always finished first in the bedroom, you know, all.

Speaker 4 (37:18):
Right, Tom, that was a good line. Yeah, yeah, seem funny.
Oh yeah, really really funny. So yeah, and a reminder
