Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, best morning show in Boston.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the morning. It's just a great
start to my day on Kiss one Away.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Well we're mad.
Speaker 4 (00:11):
Good morning everybody. It's a Billy and Lisa morning show.
And yes we are back live.
Speaker 5 (00:16):
Say hello, Bill Yello Yellow.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Yeah, we all are.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
We all made it back.
Speaker 4 (00:23):
Yeah, we're back on the property. The vacation is over,
and obviously we all have stories to tell from vacation,
and we'll get to them a little bit later in
the show. Suffice it to say two critical things for
Lisa Dunovan. One is she broke a rib. Another is
that she took home a trophy. She won a road race.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
I did my first ever.
Speaker 5 (00:45):
Yeah, best best time, right.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Best time in my in my like group, in my class,
and yeah, I was like Florida, the one they used
to when they announced my name and you go up
and you get your trophy.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Oh yeah, she's in the record books in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
You know what it felt like, your son Riley, he
wins trophies all the time.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Yeah, and they did.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, he did too.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
They all won their respective Anyway, we're gonna break down
our vacations. We do have a little bit we'd like
to share everything with our listeners, and we do have
a bit of a format change to the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show. We're going to kick it off this morning.
The Entertainment Report typically would be at six forty the
first one every morning. We're moving that to sevent ten
(01:30):
every morning. And boy do we have a pack to
entertainment report. But at six forty this morning, where you
would normally find the Entertainment Report, we're going to break
down Justin Bieber's new album, which he released over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Huge entertainment story.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yes, I have so much to say.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
I know, I can't wait to talk about this.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Yeah, it's it's kind of a different sound the very
little of it that I've.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Heard, but it reminds you of the King that Justin
Bieber is so talented.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, so we're gonna break it down, play some tracks
coming up at six poin forty this morning. And I
don't know if you caught it over the weekend, but
a fair Haven police officer named Ryan went on social
sending a message out to Benson Boone about his three
year old son's obsession with Benson Boone. I think we
(02:20):
have the clip.
Speaker 6 (02:21):
Hey Benson Boone, my name is Ryan, I'm a police
officer at a small town in Massachusetts, and this is
my son Rider Writers, one of your biggest fans. He
loves singing your songs. He listens to him literally every
single day. Writers. Three years old. He's gonna be turning
(02:44):
four in September, and all he's asked for is a
Benson Boone birthday party.
Speaker 7 (02:51):
He sits there and talks about it all the time.
Speaker 6 (02:54):
He is asked if he wants a different kind of party.
Speaker 7 (02:58):
If he wants something more along a kid's party.
Speaker 6 (03:02):
And every time he says no, he says, I want
Benson Boone. He is the most kind, sweethearted kid, and
the way he belts out your songs, I would think
that he's on stage with you. His birthday is the
day after you leave Massachusetts. We want to bring him
(03:24):
to your concert. I'm not sure if that's going to happen,
So I know this is a long shot. And I'm
sure you've gotten a letter or two, or tagged in
a video or reel on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok whatever
(03:44):
it may be from my wife and possibly me, but.
Speaker 7 (03:49):
You are invited to his birthday party.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Oh now that video got all the way to Benson
Boone it.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Did and over a million views as well.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Yeah, so now we have the update from run and
check it out.
Speaker 6 (04:05):
Update time. So figured i'd get back on here and
kind of give everybody a quick update as to what's
going on. Ryder and I got reached out to by
Kiss One Away iHeartRadio Boston. They asked us to come
into their studio and do an on air.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
Interview with them. We're going tomorrow on Monday, and it
sounds like we're going to be doing their eight am show.
Speaker 6 (04:36):
So far, all we know is they want us to
come into the studio and.
Speaker 7 (04:43):
Do an interview.
Speaker 6 (04:44):
They mentioned that they have some exciting news.
Speaker 7 (04:46):
For us, oh and some small surprises.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
So if you guys want to listen.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
In tomorrow morning, eight am Eastern time, it's gonna be
Kiss one Await Boston. Let's see what they have in
store for us.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
So now we're part of the viral video from the
fair Haven police officer and his three year old son,
both of whom yes are coming in studio. They're going
to be on the show this morning.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I can't wait to meet Ryder.
Speaker 8 (05:16):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
You've got a big surprise coming to you. Yeah. They'll
be in the studio around eight point fifteen or so.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Coming from Fairhaven. They're probably in the car.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Already told I told him to leave plenty of times.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, Yeah, this is gonna be fun. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Now, the three year old, he said, belts out Benson Boone,
So we're gonna have to belt out a couple of
Benson Boone tracks when he's in here.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
But it's a cool story. I mean the fact that
over a million you.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Said, yeah, I have this thing. It's just it's crazy.
But Benson Boone, it's so cool.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
And Benson saw it. Yeah, he's the one that saw it.
We saw it. We were partnering with Benson. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I think it's gonna be really special. You don't want
to miss this.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Could be some surprise. Store could be the young lad
big surprise, Yeah, a big surprise.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Man.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
We're back and already we're jumping in. We're all in from.
Speaker 9 (06:12):
The Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight studio. So we're
back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Kiss.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Yeah, we're back and back from vacation and welcome in everybody.
We missed you all if you're listening and tuning in early,
we really missed you. But we're back and we have
a slight format change. In fact, right now, typically we
would do the Entertainment Report, we're moving it to just
after seven o'clock at seven ten, so that's coming up.
And we were on vacation, so we missed the talkback
(06:42):
Mafia justin Oh my god, I was looking through all
the talkbacks while we were gone. People were still checking
in even though we were on vacation.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
Good. Yeah, we love that. You could always check into
the Billion Lisa Show via the talkback feature, which is
essentially a voicemail, a message you send in to us
and I can play it on the radio and you
do it on the iHeart app. You can download it.
It's free. You start us up, kiss want to wait,
you're listening, You press that little microphone button and check in,
just like this guy does every day.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Happy Monday.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
It's the Mayor of the South Bed.
Speaker 10 (07:09):
And I'm so happy you guys are back live because
I love you guys live and I want to say
live ten times in this little promo. I want to
say hi to all the beers and beer week down
in Peetown and I had a fabulous time down there.
Hats off to the boat slip bar. Oh yeah, the
number one daddy on Kiss one to Wait will always
(07:32):
be Billy Coffsa.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
Have a great day everyone who loves Petown.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
By the way, Yeah, I'll be going there and during
the August vacation. So if the Mayor of the South
End is going to be down there in Pee Town,
maybe I'll buy him a pink drink invite.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Him on the boat bell.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
I don't want to go that, why not? So this
is bear Week on Pea Time. Apparently I got a
bear's bell. Oh absolutely, Oh yeah, there's lots of bearsy justin.
Speaker 11 (08:02):
This is Pat from Venice, Florida, formerly of Old Orchard Beach.
I listened on Monday hoping to hear an update about
your experience in Old Dorchyd Beach, Lisa's Pizza, Bill's Pizza,
and hopefully you tried Rocco's pizza, which I feel is
the best. But I didn't hear any kind of an update.
(08:27):
Please let me know what's going on.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Yeah, you never told us what happened.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
About of course I didn't try Rocos, but I did
try Bill Bill's pizza and Lisa's pizza, and I have
a clear favorite.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, he said, I'm sorry Lisa again, I have no connection.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
I'm sorry. I got Bill's pizza is some of the
best pizza.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
I really, well.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
What was wrong with the Lisa's pizza?
Speaker 5 (08:56):
Well, it was it was about the Bill's pizza. The
under crust so good, and the cheese was better.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
But we have to explain to our listeners that there
are two pizza places across the street from each other, correct,
and one is named Bill's and one is name correct.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Yeah, and then there's Rocos, which is another fit. I
didn't try Rocos. I mean, I was eating so much food,
but Bill's pizza was so much better. I was going
to do a video review, but that's a portnoy thing.
I'm not gonna you can't ya, that's his thing.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
So what you're saying is I'm the prize, you.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
Know what till that weekend last weekend, you were definitely
the prize. And by the way, Oldocha Beach a great time,
a fantastic time.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Yeah, okay, we got to do it. So Justin Bieber,
while we're on vacation, came out with an album and
Justin this really came out of nowhere.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Well, he announced it on Thursday, out of literally nowhere.
He was like, all of a sudden, billboards went up
in New York and LA showing promoting an album.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
It was a well orchestrated release, right, I mean, yeah,
it really was.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Weird.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Thing is, before the announcement that came out of nowhere,
all we talked about and heard about was how Justin
and Haley were having problems and they weren't together anymore.
And yet she's on the cover art.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, and exactly with the baby in one of the pictures.
And they're on vacation right now in Europe together, posting
all over the place. So what was with all of
that stuff about them breaking up?
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Right? Was it all made up? And because he's got
a song on the album dedicated to her.
Speaker 5 (10:29):
Right, it's actually my favorite song on the album, you know,
I was saying to Lisa for the show. One of
my biggest takeaways from this album it's very R and B,
it's very soulful. One of my biggest takeaways was, you know,
all these these these talk about be re lately, with
the weird posting and all that, it's almost like you
forget who he is, the talent that he has, and
I was listening to it and I'm like, wow, Okay,
(10:49):
I think I think I got a misled hair.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
So this is the album that's the end result of
all those pictures we would see him randomly inside a
studio or something, and so this is what is going down.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Well, you know what the rail story is. So on
the same day he announced the album, it was announced
he settled the Scooter bron th yees. Yeah, So what
had happened was he was sitting on the album, but
he owed Scooter Brown all this money, so he had
to wait till that was settled and then the album
could come out.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
I have to say one of my favorite tracks is
walking Away. That's a good one, which is talking about
his marriage and his basically saying like we're having trouble,
but I'm not walking away from my commitment to you, Haley,
And I like Daisy's.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Daisy's is probably one of the best ones.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
It's the lead single. Yeah, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
What could it possibly be like being in Justin Bieber's bed.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
I'm sure it's a good time. He seems like he's
a good time.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, I think it's great.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Yeah, I'd like to be there.
Speaker 5 (11:44):
I don't know if I want to be there, but okay,
have fun. Bill.
Speaker 12 (11:48):
So growing up it was my two jbs Jonas brother.
This isn't Justin Bieber and I love him so much.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
My issue. I do have issues with this album though.
Speaker 12 (11:56):
The first like four or five songs I love, and
then he loses me in the middle and then he
back towards the end. The Sexy Right collab was horrible,
literally ruined the song sweet Spot with Sexy Right.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
He ruined that song.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
I left that one off the list. Bill, Sorry, very sexual.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
It's disgusting, honestly sexual.
Speaker 12 (12:11):
What she's saying stramon on beat and the thing she's
saying is like, oh, like, oh my god, like it's gross.
I think it would have been better with like a
Scissa singing on it.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
What do you think Sexy Red is filthier than Cardi
B which is hard to do.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Yes, she is.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
She is raised the bar on filth, but.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yet he loses me in the middle.
Speaker 12 (12:28):
I don't need the skits with drewski Like, they were fine,
but I didn't need that.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
But the cool pot about that about those skits is
he trademarked the Paparazzi video. You know this the beat?
You know standing on business, I'm standing on business. I
love that he found the paparazzi paid for the video
so he could use that audio on the album.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
I have to say, I love all the cover art.
I love it. It's the same guy who did Kendrick
Lamar's twenty two cover, the same photographer I liked. I
like the whole vibe of that Justin.
Speaker 12 (12:58):
Can I ask you a question, hip hop guy? Yes,
did you notice on Yukon anything the song Yukon?
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Did you notice anything?
Speaker 5 (13:05):
Well? He said, he pitches his voice, but did.
Speaker 12 (13:07):
You hear two chains in the back saying you so?
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Can we come back to the Haley Justin thing for
a second, because that we talked about that week after
week after week. Oh my god, they're breaking up. She's
not wearing her ring. What's going on? I think that
was just all like planned, she said.
Speaker 12 (13:26):
It wasn't clocking to us that they're locked in basically
like we don't get them.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
But I feel like they probably do have d ups
and downs.
Speaker 12 (13:32):
He clearly has a mental illness, and I don't think
it's easy being with someone like that.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
But I don't know.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Yeah, I don't know what would be gained. I was
wondering the same thing. So was it all for show?
But what's to be gained making up problems with the
marriage to promote it now?
Speaker 2 (13:46):
But she obviously was involved because they're all the cover
art had to be shot, so she's around with the baby.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
I don't think it was planned. I think like any marriage,
they have problems. Yeah, they're public figures and.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Where are they're vacationing?
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Now? They're in your He's on a yacht. He was
drinking red wine.
Speaker 5 (14:03):
Yeah, post he posts NonStop all day long.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Yeah, you better not bring red wine around here.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
Oh no, not on your boat. No, what do you say?
Speaker 13 (14:15):
Hayley?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Leave meet alone?
Speaker 9 (14:19):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss One Away Studios. We're back
with Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah, we're back. Slight change to the format the Billy
and Lisa Morning Show. We have moved or we're about
to move. The Entertainment Report typically heard at like six forty.
We're doing it now at sevent ten every morning, and
then we'll do it again at a forty later in
the morning.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
But you know what, I think we'll get one talk
back in Justin, Well, we had a big celebrity sighting
while we were on vacation.
Speaker 14 (14:48):
Good morning Justin, Billy, Lisa, and Winnie. This is Karen
calling from Braintreet, also back from vacation. I travel a lot.
I take you guys everywhere with me, but this flight
home was extra special because I got to meet Lisa Donovan. Lisa,
you are as warm and as genuine as you are
on the radio. It was a true pleasure to meet
(15:09):
you and Max. Thank you for taking the time out
to chats. You're doing everything right, Mama, keep crushing it.
Speaker 15 (15:17):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
I loved her. She was sitting right in front of us. Oh,
she was amazing. She's going to come to one of
my book clubs.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Oh nice.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
Yeah, and you actually have a book club this week?
Speaker 2 (15:25):
I do on Thursday at the Mandarin Hotel. Oh beautiful
with doctor Peric Dermatologist to the stars.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Fancy that.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Yeah, it's gonna be amazing.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
Oh that's that's nicey elease, Yeah, that was awesome. Everyone's
reaching off Aalisa, are you going.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Now the entertainment update with a Billy consta.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Oh, we're just kidding, started Billy.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
So how about those Boston Red Sox hottest team in
baseball right now. Ten game winning streak, first ten game
winning since twenty eighteen, first ten game winning streak ever
as they enter the All Star break. And how about
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Gardner at the Sox game Friday
night with the kids. They have a ban on top
(16:13):
one nothing great Red Sox family. They have been affle
like Jennifer Gardner and their kids.
Speaker 10 (16:18):
They just got the green Monster hats as well, trying
those out.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
It's nice seats, nice seats indeed, front row. Yeah, so cool.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
He is so cool. I wonder why they were here.
I know that their daughter goes to Yale, but she's
probably not going back to school yet. Maybe they were
looking at schools for another child.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Well, Sarafina is sixteen.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Okay, so maybe they're doing the whole like Finn, because
they did it for their daughter too. They came around.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
My name's sir, it's Finn. It's Finn, I believe, Well
that's probably.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
They're going by Finn. Now, I don't know if they're
they them.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
Or hey, you better tell TMZ Winnie.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
Yeah, it's Finn.
Speaker 12 (16:54):
Remember at the funeral, Finn talked and said they were
the grandchild of is Ben's family or Jennifer's fan.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
Okay, okay, I'm wishes. Well, I'll tell you one thing,
what a game to be at Friday night with the
Raphaela walk off swinging around? Doesn't that sucks? They're walking
(17:24):
Tapa Bay?
Speaker 16 (17:25):
Are you kidding?
Speaker 4 (17:27):
I gotta tell you that's electric. One of Dave O'Brien's
one of the best calls ever. Yeah. God, he's good
this season, but he has a lot to talk about
with the ten game winning streak going on. A good family,
just good vibe out there at Finway Park right now.
And uh, the home run derby is tonight. The All
Star Game is tomorrow night.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Question, yes, is it a good or bad thing that
they have a break?
Speaker 5 (17:51):
That's a great question. Yeah, yeah, just does it kind
of put the fire out?
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Yeah. By the way, three members of your Boston Red
Sox at the All Star Game. Alex Bregman back from injury.
I'm thinking he'll play. He did play last night. Also
Chapman and Gary Crochet. By the way, went the distance
the other night. You don't see that often these days.
Subfaela is not going. He had another home run last night.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
Yeah, yes, and he did.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
By the way, Edelman and Gronk going to do their
podcast live at the MGM Music Theater August twenty eighth.
Here's gronk announcement.
Speaker 8 (18:29):
Announcement, we have a live show coming to you. Tickets
on sale now and use promo code nut House.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Repeat promo code nuthouse.
Speaker 8 (18:41):
Get your tickets now at ticketmaster dot com. The live
show will be at MGM Music Hall at Fenway Thursday,
August twenty eight.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
Yeah, not house. I love that sounds like a cartoon character.
By the way, Edelman had Celtics coach Joe Missoula on
the last week. Coach Missoula apparently has a fascination with
the Joker. Here's your villain, Oh Joker, You're the Joker.
Speaker 13 (19:07):
That's my guy. Yeah, yeah, I mean I got this.
Are you so serious for him? Because of like that
perfect balance of like you know, it's a great question.
And he goes into like telling the story as to
like how he got to that point. If you look
at the Batman and the Joker, it's like the Joker
had no rules, but he really just wanted honesty. But
he just went to the wrong depths to try and
get that honesty. Meanwhile, Batman was like, I'm doing this
(19:28):
for all the right reasons, when in reality, like was he,
They're not much different.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
You need to do a movie podcast. I was going
to ask you what do you do in your spare time?
But I'll probably get better at my job first. That's
a good line.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
I love him.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
Yeah, he's like a savant in so many ways. Oh yeah, he's.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Low key, like what's what's up the ray Man? When
it comes to.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
Know everything, he has a photographic memory. He remembers every
single play.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Yeah. I love his postgame interviews. It's like he's just
lost in it, you know. Hey, the new Superman movie
crushed the competition over the weekend, taking in one hundred
and twenty two million in its first weekend. And Lisa,
you saw the Jurassic World movie.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
I did, and I was disappointed. I'm a big Jurassic
World person. I've seen every single one. I loved the
Chris Pratt era, the Scarlett I love Scarlett Johansson. She
was great in it. She's a great actress. But they
were so lacking in story and in like character development
with this whole new cast that it just left me
(20:31):
just I couldn't believe it. I was horrified it was
just all about just big dinosaurs eating people. But it wasn't.
There was legitimately nothing to grab onto.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
I mean from a character standpoint, and like with the
Chris Pratt era, like you really were invested in like
them and like their journey. I don't know. I was
like really disappointed all the dinosaurs looking the dinosaurs were great.
There's like a real weird like mutant dinosaur. H Yeah.
Speaker 5 (20:59):
It was like, well, they have to expand the storyline.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Right like it just yeah, I was I was disappointed.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
I saw her story over the weekend. Because of a
Jurassic World scarlet, Johansson is the highest paid actress right now.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Yes. Wow, But again, I mean, if you like, you
know dinosaur movies, go see it. But I'm just saying
you're gonna miss. You're gonna miss.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
It's lacking in stall lashing and it's lacking and you're
going to see cold Play.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Oh my god, that's not lacking that. I just I
literally can't I can't wait. And I said to Winnie,
I was like, I'm staying until the very end of Gillette,
which can be dicey.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
We were strategizing her best way home?
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Do you have a helicopter?
Speaker 12 (21:44):
I gave her some I will not be giving out
publicly because of what we want to keep it that
way back.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Some walking involved that we're willing to do it.
Speaker 4 (21:52):
Yeah, and tomorrow night is the first of two shows and.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
They start early. I looked on the ticketmaster websites as
six pm. Wow, and there are opening acts now.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
Coldplay is Lisa's dream concerts. So we've got topic time
coming up at about seven forty right, Yeah, and that's
the topic. What is your all time dream concert the
one you've never had a chance to see? And we'll
deal with that meantime. Drake this past weekend headlined three
nights at the Wireless Festival in London. Last night he
(22:24):
brought out Vanessa Carlton.
Speaker 5 (22:27):
I love this woman.
Speaker 17 (22:28):
So she's so kind to come out here and do
this first and I take it away.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Oh yeah, they do.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Every word well, I mean no offense.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
What else is she doing that she couldn't be there?
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (22:52):
You know what you want to stand with Drake?
Speaker 12 (22:54):
When I'm just saying like, she's so kind.
Speaker 18 (22:58):
She is this morning spreading joy and positivity wherever she goes.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Kelly Clarkson canceled the first two shows of her Vegas
residency last week, but she kicked it off this weekend
with the apology I'm so.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Sorry last weekend shows. I'm so sorry. We can't help
our bodies.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Sometimes, you know, and that happens.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
But thank you so much for showing up. We're so excited.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Do I need to worry about Kelly Clarkson? I heard
because there was talk she was going to leave the
daytime show and she was having personal problems, and then
she cancels a Vegas residency the first two shows, the
kick off shows.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
I don't know how true this is by her.
Speaker 12 (23:40):
I remember that her ex husband is not doing well
health wise, so she's kind of had like the only
parent kind of deal. I think that's been some of
the issue. That's what I heard. I don't know how
true it is.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
That's the weird guy we met backstage.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
At Brandon Blackstock. Yeah we knew, Yeah we had you
called it bad vibes from him.
Speaker 12 (23:58):
Before we move on from Billy, we have to talk
about the Backstreet Boys this weekend.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
I saw a video clip from the sphere Lisa.
Speaker 12 (24:05):
When I tell you, I have never had so much
fomo in my life. No, like literally looks like one
of the best performances they've ever done. The Sphere like crazy.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
Still effects were insane.
Speaker 5 (24:18):
Wait, would that be your dream concert, Winnie?
Speaker 4 (24:21):
I didn't think.
Speaker 12 (24:23):
I didn't think so until that, until I saw I
have so much fomo like they do the Home Annual album, like,
which is their biggest album. I mean, they're dancing, they're
singing like, they are incredible. These men are the only
boy band that never really took a break, which I
think shows and why they're still so good. Like, you know,
with choreography and singing, When you take too much of
a break, I think you lose it.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
They've never lost it.
Speaker 12 (24:44):
They're all pushing fifty, if not in their fifties, and
they're amazing.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Road trip, Let's go there July and August.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
You know, I hate Vegas, but I think I have
to go to that.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
I gotta tell you, I never thought I would say
these words in my life, but having seen some of
the footage from the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere, I
think it could be one of my dream comings.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Yeah, this is a road trip.
Speaker 5 (25:03):
Yeah, I said it did look incredible. I would say
any show with this sphere. Yeah, it could be good.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Yeah. Yeah. How about Bad Bunny his residency in Puerto Rico.
They say his shows are going to bring in three
hundred thirty five million dollars as many as eight thousand
jobs to Puerto Rico. He's doing thirty shows.
Speaker 5 (25:23):
There and none in America.
Speaker 12 (25:26):
Technically America, it's it's a territory, yes, not none state
sized that No, Yeah, I would go seed Bad Bunny.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
Yeah, he's good. I saw it fan way really good.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
Yeah. You don't know any anything what he's saying. If
you don't speak Spanish, it's still a good time.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
But it was good time anyway.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
We're brought to you by the ninety nine restaurants. You
really have to try the new burghers at the Nines,
Bigger boulder and beef eer. They're a half pound one
American angus beef, sure to please anybody in the fam.
Try the new Bourbon onion burger and get more ang
for the buck. Gotta love the Nines.
Speaker 7 (26:03):
With Billy Cock.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
Oh, thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Billy and Lisa.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
It's way all right.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
So we get a lot going on in the show.
First of all, the Billy and Lisa Morning Show is back.
We are live. You noticed we came on about a
half second late, right there. You know we're still kind
of sliding in if you will we we Okay, I'm
still kind of sliding in. And Lisa is going to
be so tired this week because she's got a book
(26:31):
club event Thursday night, right.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Right at the Mandarin Hotel with doctor Parracombe. But I'm
going to see Coldplay tomorrow night at Jellette. And we
know how much I love Coldplay. But also I don't
want to leave early. I want to stay until the
last song.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
Oh you're screwed.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
I'm so screwed.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Yes, you're going two am.
Speaker 12 (26:48):
Maybe now home, Lisa, take my method. You'll be home
in thirty minutes when you gets.
Speaker 16 (26:53):
To your car.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
The method, though, requires a lot of walking.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
That's worth it.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
Oh, hold on, it is the method. The seat great entrance.
Speaker 12 (27:01):
The players go no, no, no, no, no, I have
other ways.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I cannot disclose because I need Lisa to get home.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
On you're going to tell her to park a mile down? No,
don't worry about Okay, all right.
Speaker 5 (27:10):
All right, Well it's going to be a late night.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
I hope they close it out with a sky full
of stars that literally I'm literally going to start there.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
I'm looking at some of it right now. So last
week they did not end with it, Okay, they did not.
It feels like I'm falling in love.
Speaker 12 (27:32):
That's what the end of that's probably I don't even
know if is already fallowing crazy.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Smart, I know, I guess I'm not getting that interview.
You tried, we tried, we tried, but you know what, whatever,
I'm so excited that we're going.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
It's gonna be great. That the videos are incredible, just
like the Backstreet Boys. The sphere, all I've been seeing
is cold Play videos of their their shows. It looks unreal.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Well, He's always been unreal, and cold Play has always
been unreal. It's gonna be big night for you least
your dream.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
This is big wow. So what's your dream concert? Dream artists?
Speaker 4 (28:06):
I'm still thinking about it. I'm still thinking about it,
justin what would yours be? Well, you can't pick someone
I'm trying to think of. It's somebody who's dead that
i'd like to see be brought back to life, like
Buddy Holly. No believe it or not. If if it
could happen, it would be Prince Buddy, oh Prince.
Speaker 19 (28:24):
Oh yeah, my dream concert would have been Prince god
Rest his Soul the opening act Mars Day in the time.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
Oh yeah, come on taking it back a little bit.
Then I saw Prince twice, I think, but I'm telling
you I would still love to see Prince again god Rest. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
Well, I I went to my dream concert. Oh man,
this weekend Wu Tang Clan at the TD Garden, a
sold out show. It was incredible, incredible. I want my
three best friends. I did it on the North End
and we went to the show at the Garden and
it's Wu Tang. All the members were there, and I
tell you it was a great show. So like, what's
(29:07):
the number one song?
Speaker 7 (29:09):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (29:09):
They have so many cream I mean man, they were
all on stage and and and the old Dirty Bastard
r I P you ready for this. We're out front
of the garden going in. There's a guy standing in
front who looks just like old Dirty Bastard with the
(29:30):
hair and the braids. And so my friend went up
to him to talk to him and said, you look
like od B. And he played it cool. He goes,
oh no, he had a Wu Tang all access pass too.
He took a picture with my friend. We chopped it
up for a minute and then we went in.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
I thought you were going to tell us there was
a hologram, No dirt.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
It was his son. It was the young dirty bastard.
So we get in there and when Odeb's part came on,
who comes on stage? His son? That was him that
we met on the in the front.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
Just four buddies hanging out at utang Yeah.
Speaker 5 (30:03):
Yeah, well you know what they say.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
Well, tang us for the children, we teach the children.
All right, that's right.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
But yeah, I was living in my dream this weekend.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
And that Winnie Yours is still the Backstreet Boys.
Speaker 12 (30:13):
No, I've been lucky to see them plenty of times.
They're awesome. I really I'm thinking about going to see
them at the Sphere, but again I've seen them plenty
of times. Somebody I've never seen and I will never
see is Michael Jackson. Obviously, he died when I was
like in high school, so I'll never get.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
To see him.
Speaker 12 (30:27):
And then somebody that I wish I could see but
I probably won't see either is in Sync as a union.
I've seen justin Chimberlake obviously by himself in sanc though.
I would have loved to see them at their prime,
but I was like five and now I don't think.
I don't think it's happening. They keep teasing us, but
I don't think it's happening.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
There's probably only one concert that I'd still love to
go to again, and it would be Bruno Mars in
terms of a living arts.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
See, I've never seen Bruno Mars too, so he's that's Buckley's.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
You have to Bruno in the sphere, he always says.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Adobe Theater. He's a big MGM guy.
Speaker 12 (31:02):
I don't know he would like kind of go to
the sphere because I think he's very loyal to MGM.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
He doesn't well, it's also in major debt to little
gambling problems.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
Seen him have.
Speaker 12 (31:12):
Four MGM locations, Yeah, no, seriously, I've seen him have
four diferent MGM locations.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
He's an ankle Bracelett, MGM name on it.
Speaker 5 (31:24):
They're going to do it to him what they did
to the guy in Casino.
Speaker 4 (31:28):
First Dance, Sing for Me, Sing.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
For Me, Dance for Me.
Speaker 9 (31:37):
Now it's topic time for the Billy and Lisa in
the morning.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
And the topic is dream concerts. While Lisa Donovan's going
to see cold Play longtime dream of hers.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
And right, so that got us talking about what's your
dream concert? Dream artists?
Speaker 4 (31:53):
All right, so let's start with the phones. We've got
clear on the line from Wyndham, New Hampshire. Good morning,
Claire morning. All right, your dream what is it?
Speaker 2 (32:03):
My favorite dream crosser I would love to go to
would be Frank Ocean. I like his music, very talented.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
He just kind of goes away and doesn't come back
for a long time. He put, he drops something and
then he goes away for ten years. No, you're not
even exaggerating.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
Yeah, Frank Ocean. Is that our R and B Yeah,
R and B singer.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, Yeah, it's not Billy Ocean.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
Billy got excited there for a second. It's not caked
by the ocean either.
Speaker 5 (32:34):
Not by the ocean. Yeah, Frank Ocean.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
My dream concert would be getting One Direction back together.
I think that they're also talented, and they've all gone
their separate ways, and I think it would be really
sweet for them to all come together and to honor
Liam Payne. And yeah, their music is also just amazing.
(33:00):
I'd love to see it live again.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
She's right, that would be an amazing experience to see
them together honoring Liam.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
I don't know if it's going to happen anytime.
Speaker 5 (33:10):
Really, I'm honestly surprised they haven't.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
Well the thing, I don't know.
Speaker 12 (33:14):
I mean, Nile, Harry and Zane are pretty successful soul artists.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
I can't want to say the same for Louis.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
But you know, I saw a lot of promos over
the vacation for the Building the Band show on Netflix,
which is going to be hosted I guess by aj McLean.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
Yeah, it started already, and then Liam's one of the
judges I believe. So Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
I was kind of torn should they or should they
not do it, given the fact that Liam's gone, But
I think so.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
I'm actually glad that they did.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
I'd love to see a reunion, you know, in memory
of Liam.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
And Harry needs to, like he needs to drive this bus.
He needs to like get on this to make it happen.
He's working on new music.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
Don't you feel like Harry is kind of the holdout?
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Yeah? I actually don't.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
I don't think so either.
Speaker 12 (33:56):
No, Zane left early because he had anxiety. He's just
getting over it now. Chick him like ten years Nile
has an amazing solo.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
And we've met him. He's in a delight.
Speaker 12 (34:07):
Nice guy and when I met I interviewed him two
years ago at Boston, Boston Kong.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
Amazing guy. He had concerts for the whole next he
was booked out for like two years.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
Was that Nile Mile? Yeah, Billy interviewed him too well, Leam,
thank you so, I mean, Nile, thank you so much
for coming in. You know you can't let it go,
can you? You just can't let it go.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
Kill the greatest moments of my life.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
Give me another dream in there.
Speaker 8 (34:31):
My dream concert is Lady Gaga.
Speaker 7 (34:33):
But she's not coming to bust in this time. I
don't know why. So I thought, Hm, why don't I
just fly to Australia in December and go see her?
Speaker 8 (34:42):
So I'm going I'm going to see Lady Gaga in
December and Australia.
Speaker 5 (34:46):
Let's go.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
Australia alone is a dream for a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
Oh yeah, it's my beautify.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
We saw it, Fenway.
Speaker 5 (35:02):
Oh yeah, she was great.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
I feel so bad that man wants to go so bad.
I left after the first song.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Made it very clear how much you didn't like her.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
We had like second row for Lady Park Beautiful Night
and after one song Winnie was seen walking out of
fen Wait to.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Be fair, I did get my tickets to some fans
that are my god.
Speaker 5 (35:33):
I think those are called.
Speaker 19 (35:35):
Morning Morning Crew. I missed everybody welcome back from vacation.
I couldn't do any talkbacks. I did hear myself a
couple of times, so I just talked to myself more instead.
But my dream, one of them the concerts is coming
up in a couple of weeks. I'm seeing the Goo
Goo dolls. I've seen them before, but this time I
have a meet and greet, so I'm gonna be able
(35:56):
to wrap my arms around Johnny Resnik until secure he
comes and pulls.
Speaker 6 (36:00):
Me Ben.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
Johnny res In there he got a little crazy after
a while.
Speaker 5 (36:08):
Google All was a great man.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
Oh Jamie band. They got a lot of hits.
Speaker 12 (36:13):
I feel like there he has so many move like
songs that are in movie yep, oh yeah, Iris, that's
that's a ton of movies.
Speaker 7 (36:19):
Sure.
Speaker 15 (36:20):
My dream concert is Craig David if you remember, I
loved it as in like the two thousands for the
songs like seventies fill me in. But I don't think
he tours the US, so I believe I'd have to
go to London to see him. And I'm thinking I'm
turning forty next year. That might just be my present
to myself.
Speaker 12 (36:40):
She missed him, he was in he was in New
York in November.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
I almost thought about going.
Speaker 12 (36:46):
I love he is such a good arm He's an
armed musinger from like two thousand seven Days is such
a hit.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
You're not surprised.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
I know this that long a trip to see Craig David.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I'm just saying she could have song.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
He did it.
Speaker 12 (36:59):
He did do a US tour last year, like small
Places in England.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
Yeah, a nightmare.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Monday went and asked for the.
Speaker 16 (37:12):
Singing Lisa calling from Hollis, New Hampshire. And my dream
concert would be to see Delores so reared in and
the Cranberry is one more time in concert. Oh we
loved her and them so much. May you rest in
peace to Lauries.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Is that the kiss Me song?
Speaker 7 (37:35):
No?
Speaker 5 (37:36):
They sing lingers.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Yeah, I didn't know that Lauries passed away twenty eighteen.
Speaker 5 (37:45):
What Bell, I'm sure the Cranberries were on your playlist.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Yes they were.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
They were.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Lingers Linkers and Pop.
Speaker 5 (38:00):
It's a good song.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
Why are you laughing about?
Speaker 5 (38:05):
Just say it? I don't We don't know why you're laughing.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
He came out of the left field. That's her dream.
Everybody has a dream. I think harrow Smith said it
best dream on.
Speaker 5 (38:24):
You can't crap on other people's dreams.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
God, Billy, Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Dream concert without a doubt?
Speaker 5 (38:37):
Oh Bill, are you gonna be to hold it together
for this one? All right?
Speaker 2 (38:40):
Queen with the original one and only Freddie Mercury.
Speaker 4 (38:47):
I'm with her on that.
Speaker 13 (38:49):
Sure.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Yeah. I've watched that video from the eighties at Live.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
Aid with all The Bohemian Rhapsody movie ends with that,
and I cry every time. It's amazing.
Speaker 18 (39:00):
Yeah, I would have to say my dream concert would
definitely be Whitney Houston. I love her so much. I
listened to her music all the time, and I would
have loved to have seen her in concert. And that's
coming from someone who has been lucky enough to see
a lot of great artists in concert. But Whitney would
(39:20):
be like it for me. She heard that voice, I mean,
you just can't beat it.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
So d horrible.
Speaker 5 (39:34):
He's on the floor, on the floor
