Home, and the New England Patriots let everybody.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah there you would think the Patriots won the Super
Bowl last night. It feels like it. Oh my god.
Oh I stayed up the whole game, slept the whole
three hours. I feel like Mikey.
Speaker 5 (00:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Anyway, welcome into the show, everybody. It is the Billy
and Lisa Show. I'm justin. Lisa of course is here,
Whinnie's here, and Mikey is sitting in again for Billy Costa.
Thank you, Mikey, sir. I hope everyone had great weekend.
The weather was fantabulous.
Speaker 6 (00:58):
Oh I can't even It was by the pool all weekend.
It's Unbelievablemmer last summer. Yeah, today and tomorrow eighties and
then then it gets back into like what it should be.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Well, let's not think about that. We'll think about today.
Keep it in the day. Yeah, So welcome in, everybody, listen.
First things first, the jingle Ball sold out in one
minute one minute, I think it was three, but yeah, yeah,
they went on sale Friday. We talked about it. We
knew it was going to happen. It's it's a special
show and now the only way in is to win.
(01:28):
It sounds like we feel bad that I saw it
so quick, and it is tough, but it's what it is.
Speaker 7 (01:31):
But the goodness is we give away NonStop tickets. If
you keep kissing way on from now until the fourteenth
of December, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
A good chance you get tickets. And there you go. Yeah, okay,
I'm going to record what Mikey just said right there,
produce a Riley please record that for future use because
people hear that and they're like, I'm gonna win and
they should try to win. But it's not. It's not easy.
You still try, but it's not easy. You think I
tickets period that you know what, it's harder than ever
to get. Yes. So yeah, they went until at noon
(02:02):
on Friday and sold out instantly. So seven ten and
eight ten, we'll have your tickets to jingle Ball. And
we mentioned Mikey's sitting in for Billy Billy is in Africa. Now,
I got to get this in here because Lisa witnessed
this this morning did so they are, I believe, five
or six hours ahead. By the way, he just posted
a bunch of videos and pictures on his Instagram at
(02:22):
the Billy costa really cool elephants, drafts, all that stuff.
So he texts me at four fifty am our time
and he says, I'm having problems calling out on the phone.
I said, okay, work on't it? Let me know. Then
my phone rings. While Lisa and I are literally writing
the Entertainment Report and.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
All that stuff, doing all the works.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Yeah, doing all the work stuff the Billy and I
do every day, well, all of us do. Calls me
at five point fifteen am to join the prep from Africa. Okay,
this guy, you can't get enough.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
What does he want? What do you want to add?
Speaker 6 (02:56):
Well, Okay, Friday was the life of a show girl.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah right, and he is our little show girl.
Speaker 6 (03:02):
So I think he was having a little fomo from
the whole thing on Friday and from the party on
Friday night at the Liberty.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Oh yeah, in his element at that point.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
And I have to tell you that the mayor of
the South End was there.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Oh, we know he was at the life of a
showgirl party.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Good morning, it's the mayor of the South ND.
Speaker 8 (03:20):
I just want to tell you what a wonderful time
I had at the Taylor Swift party at the Liberty Hotel.
I got I helped Mikey b get out prizes. I
met all the people they love me. And also the
most precious thing I got was I got a kiss
from miss Lisa.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Have a great day, everybody a Lisa.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
He gave me a beautiful mask, like a big feathery
like Marti gras Mass.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Really it was gorgeous.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, it was like so thoughtful.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
The irony of the billy thing. Him feeling left out.
Speaker 9 (03:53):
If he was in Medford, where he lives, or at
his boat in Charlestown, he would be nowhere near that
party on Friday. He would have had every reason why
he couldn't go, correct, he wouldn't have went. But also
he just wants to be He loves it. He's a
news guy, he's an entertainment guy. He didn't even know
the Patriots one last night. Yeah, he didn't even know,
so he kind of feels left out, and I'm like, dude,
(04:14):
just enjoy your trip.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Right, It's fine.
Speaker 9 (04:17):
I kind of feel him because when I was on
a vacation, I was sick for like a week and
a half. I didn't know what was going on, and
I decided to just not even talk to you guys
and just be in my own world because I felt
so left out that I was like, let me not
hurt my own feelings, like, let me just try to
heal up, because I was so out of the loop.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
So I do understand his pain.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, he's just you know, he's hooked. He's hooked into it.
And it's Monday too. A lot happened over the weekend,
and he knows that.
Speaker 7 (04:41):
He's got time changing six hours at five forty our
time was at noon is basically yeah, yeah, I forget
it's five or six hours.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
So at nine to ten this morning, we're going to
talk to Billy and get the update, and we'll update.
He'll give us the update, and then we'll update him
on the things he didn't know. The Tailor song about
the meaning of wood.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
That's my favorite song on theory.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
We'll talk about that in the entertainment report coming up.
But Lisa love it.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
It's like so I love it. I ran to it
all weekend.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Yeah, it's well, it was Travis's birthday yesterday and he
was getting lit up on the auto Instagram because of it. Yeah,
it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
From the Planet Fitness, Kiss One Away Studios, we're back
with a Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Hey, good morning friends, welcome back. It is the Billy
and Lisa Show on a Monday morning. Today is October sixth.
Thank you for listening, Thank you for joining as always. Uh,
Lisa Tonight book clubs. Yes the deal.
Speaker 6 (05:35):
Okay, so we're at the Revere Hotel. It's with Patricia Cornwell.
Now Patricia Cornwell. It's a crime novelist. She writes thrillers.
She sold one hundred and twenty million books. Whoa one
hundred and twenty million she paid?
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Seriously, Wow, even if each book was one dollar.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
That's what pretty much what it is. Yeah, so she's
never done my book club. She's from the Boston area.
Her The rights to scar Patta, which is the series,
was purchased by Jamie Lee Curtis and Nicole Kidman. It's
a series coming out on Amazon Prime next year. Already
in the can so yeah, so she will be joining
me at the review I can't wait.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Can people join?
Speaker 10 (06:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (06:16):
I think like there's a link in my in my
on my instagram, lisad on em in one to wait,
So if you want to come, come, I wouldn't miss
this because she's amazing.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
So you've been following the book club, Mikey, how can
you miss the book club? It's like the biggest It's
like jingle Ball and book Club. They're like hand in
hand at this point.
Speaker 11 (06:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
The hardest thing to get into. Yeah, all right, great,
thank you starts at sex. That one's at the review right,
it's at the review place, too, awesome.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Yeah that's great.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
So if you're just waking up this morning, the Patriots
won the Super Bowl. What a game. Unbelievable. I stayed
up for the whole game. I did try to go
to bed, I woke up. I must have slept for
like maybe twenty minutes. I woke up to check the score,
and then I just kept watching. I could. I couldn't
leave it.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
Yeah, you know, those night games are tough for a
Sunday though it was eight twenty kickoff.
Speaker 6 (07:05):
Yeah, usually we could go to bed because we knew
they weren't gonna win, right, lots of time.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
It was crazy. Well, even going into the game yesterday,
I wasn't like hopeful.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Well it was the.
Speaker 6 (07:16):
Second half really, I mean, Drake May kind of lit
it up and put it together and yeah, well.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
What's cool about it too is that, you know, they
say that Drake May is very similar to Josh Allen,
so it was really cool to see them, you know,
kind of face off. Yeah, and Drake won the battle. Yeah,
he won it. That's a tough one.
Speaker 12 (07:30):
I took everybody in the locker room, and the guys
came out in the battle and didn't play the best
in the first half. The defense helped this out and
getting back offensively and get some.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Things going and then stuff on. Diggs had a great game.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
That's the big story.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Back to back games, the Revenge game.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Yeah, fun digs. It was lit.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
It was lit.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
You know, Tom Tong, I'm played here before. I've been
on the other side. There was this electrophund and I
knew that it was going to be a test for us.
Speaker 7 (07:55):
It's not just sports, but whenever you're going even like
an X and every going backwards and you're playing again
to somebody that used to be around is in there,
you you play a different level. Like he went into
that game right to prove a point, and he proved it.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
And he started slow too. This season he kind of had,
you know, a couple of catches here and there. We're
all like, remember Billy going, where is Stefan Diggs? Yeah,
and he showed up. I was monitoring Cardi B's Instagram.
I was just gonna say, should but not his personal
life all coming in hot. Yeah, she did not post anything,
which I thought was weird.
Speaker 9 (08:29):
Well, she's really been busy. I mean this album promotion.
She's been all over the place for that.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Oh it looks like she's in some kind of strip
club three hours ago throwing money dollar dollar bills. Yeah,
there's that. Yeah. Dave Portnoy, of course, was quick to
jump on the press conference, as he always does. We
haven't had.
Speaker 13 (08:48):
One of these post game press conferences in a long time.
Ever since Brady and Belichick and the dynasty went away.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
In our six rings, people have been kicking us.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
They've been beating us up, they've been getting.
Speaker 13 (08:59):
Their shot they're still getting their shots in.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
On Belichick in college. Well, guess what, it's a new day.
Speaker 13 (09:06):
We all just saw that the Bills, the Bills have
run this decision and I like Josh Allen.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
I like him.
Speaker 13 (09:11):
You know what, They've got the show for the last decade,
bup gus zero.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
They haven't won anything.
Speaker 13 (09:16):
Yeah, they won the East, but they won nothing.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
And we've waited and we've rebuilt.
Speaker 13 (09:21):
And what we saw tonight, Drake May outplayed Josh Allen.
Drake May outplayed Josh Allen.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Both things made mistakes.
Speaker 13 (09:29):
Drake May was the better quarterback, the best player on
the field.
Speaker 6 (09:34):
Yeah, this means so much moving forward from a confidence standpoint. Yes,
like he knows he can do it now.
Speaker 9 (09:41):
Absolutely, and it's a divisional win. Yeah, you need to
get those to start, you know somewhere.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
It just feels good as a Pats fan, man, Yeah,
it feels really good. He made He made some plays
that you were like, oh wow, he hasn't in.
Speaker 9 (09:53):
Them And to importing to his point, like what's the
point here winning in the East every year if you
don't go anywhere with it?
Speaker 1 (09:57):
You know what I mean? Like who cares?
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Well? You know what I mean? Pop gets Yeah, okay, yeah,
we need to switch gears here. Can you explain to
me the Mark Sanchez story. Do you have like.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Details on this I do. So he was in town.
He works for Fox.
Speaker 6 (10:12):
He was in Indianapolis, and he was drunk, and it
happened sometimes early Saturday morning. He got into an altercation
with a six sixty nine year old box truck driver.
He slammed the guy up against the wall. The guy
felt threatened. He pulled out pepper spray. He pepper sprayed
(10:32):
Mark and then he stabbed him. So I'm hearing self defense. Yeah,
I'm hearing ironically. Yeah, And I think we have the bartender.
Speaker 12 (10:40):
Right as I was closing, somebody was making on the window.
Saw that the first needed help. The head but on him.
He said that he'd been shot. Brought him go inside,
laid him down, called nine one one, put towels over injuries,
head ahead. I was trying to talk to a little bit.
It was a little bit trying to get his name.
I can't really understand what he was saying. How do
you recognize him?
Speaker 6 (10:56):
Well, he wasn't shot. He was stabbed three times. So
that's how drunk Mark sand was, so he didn't know
the difference. So they brought him to the hospital and
then he was arrested and arraigned for battery and for
a public intoxication.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
God, imagine you're in the hospital stab wounds and then
they come and charge.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
You, but like you're there for work.
Speaker 9 (11:15):
I mean he works for Fox right now for a
sports I mean, if you know he was a Jets quarterback.
I mean he was a quarterback for a couple of places,
but he was that great. But he did play for
a while. And now he's a commentary right, and now
you go and you get drunk and you get stabbed.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Well, they possibly could be an issue there. There's got
more to the story that we don't know. Well, he
was doing wind sprints, so he was wrecked in the
alley behind the bar apparently, and he was doing interval training,
running back and forth and then the confrontation happened with
this guy, and the guy pepper straight straight him and
stabbed him.
Speaker 7 (11:47):
And I will say, I used to live in Indianapolis
or did a radio show out there.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
That's not like a bad area of it.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
That's right downtown, near all the bars, near the main street,
near those two hotels, the JW.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
Mario and the Weston right there are the.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
Two nicest hotels in Indiana, probably definitely Indianapolis.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
So you're in a good area. It's not like he
was looking to sketchy a.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah, so he ran into the wrong guy.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
He brought he was the wrong guy.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
I was the wrong guy.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
The guy answered it big time, right.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
I mean I think over answers exactly right.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
I mean, would be enough, right.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
I feel like it's one of those stories that we
don't know the full story yet. It'll all, it'll all
come out. But I did see the picture of the
guy's injuries, the other guy the guy. Yeah, and the
guy's double his age. He guy's like seventy years old.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
So question does he get fired by Fox?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
I mean, once the full story comes out.
Speaker 7 (12:35):
But I would say I would say big media companies
always moved slow on those things. They want to get
the full story and get it right.
Speaker 14 (12:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Yeah, but you know, if he does have a real
issue or whatever and he goes to get help.
Speaker 9 (12:46):
And they'll do the hole, he's going to go to
rehab and you know, and then he can come back,
you know, like they do that.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
You know, they did the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
So it is crazy. When he played, wasn't he known
for that one big fumble that he had?
Speaker 14 (12:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (12:58):
But yes, but yes, now.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
This as an announcer, now what's he known for.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
From the Planet Fitness Kids one of the studios. We're
back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Well, good morning, everybody, Welcome back to the Billy and
Lisa Show. Justin's here, Lisa, Winnie and Mikey V who
is in for Billy Costa who's in Africa, and we'll
be checking in at nine ten this morning. If you
go to Billy's Instagram at the Billy Costa he did
post a little montage his wife did. Sorry not Yeah, yeah,
a bunch of videos and pictures. Did you guys see this?
(13:32):
Did you look at the video?
Speaker 1 (13:34):
I saw a little something.
Speaker 6 (13:35):
He was sending me stuff over the weekend to the
giraffes and elephants.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (13:39):
Everything once in a lot time vacation that Billy has
done twice in a year.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Yeah, and his wife has done three times this year.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
That's crazy. It was supposed to be just a one
time thing. It was actually a wedding gift for his wife.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
But it is there.
Speaker 6 (13:50):
It was their wedding anniversary and for Wills, this is
like their trip that they do.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
And I feel especially I feel like we're like they're
through Billy.
Speaker 9 (13:56):
Oh I guess now every October we'll be having mikey
here the first talked out Africa.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
You know what, you could have bet on it? All right?
So jingle Ball presented by Capital One sold out on Friday.
I went to went on sale at noon. We kept
saying it's gonna sell out. We just knew it. It's
it's a hard ticket to get. I mean, it's starring
ed Sharon. Yeah, and it's a tradition here in Boston.
We're super excited about it, and you know, we're sorry.
Sorry to everyone that did not get tickets.
Speaker 15 (14:20):
I'm so bummed.
Speaker 14 (14:21):
I went on well before twelve o'clock and got in
the waiting room for tickets, and then I.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Joined the queue.
Speaker 15 (14:28):
I think I was number like two thousand, four hundred,
and by the time I had a chance to get.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Tickets, they were sold out.
Speaker 15 (14:34):
It stinks when you do everything right and still can't
get tickets.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
I know it's true, a lot of people are in
that boat.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
If Lisa could give everybody a ticket that wanted one,
she would, I would, she would. What are you saying, Mike?
Speaker 7 (14:46):
Can you keep kissing the laid on from now until
the fourteenth of December.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
It's a good chance you get tickets from there. Not guaranteed,
but a good chance.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
Do you give away like that, like, well, hundreds of
pairs of tickets?
Speaker 3 (14:57):
You know.
Speaker 7 (14:57):
I was at dinner my mom yesterday the way I
need sixteing of ball tickets, Like there's no way, there's
no way I can't get off framing him in public
school teachers tickets I my mom asked.
Speaker 9 (15:09):
For like her nurse practitioner, Your nurse practitioner, I don't know.
Speaker 7 (15:13):
Yeah, it begins. I'm calling her right now. Olivia Dean,
who's at jingle Ball this year.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Oh yep.
Speaker 7 (15:19):
She is on a rocket ship to being one of
the biggest artists in the world.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
My most favorite song right absolutely.
Speaker 7 (15:24):
Every girl loves her song. Man I need but her
whole album is very good. She's very talented. It's not
a song, it's a talented artist, which is different. She
is going to be a superstar. She already is at
this point, but she's between now and December, she's.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
Going to be like a household man. Yeah, well, if
you want to see Ed Sharon, Olivia Dean and so
many more, you have a pair of tickets, what do
you know, Like Mike, you said, six, one, yeah, one,
one oh eight. You'll need a keyword, and the keyword
nice and easy on this Monday will be sellout now.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
The entertainment update with a Billy constap.
Speaker 6 (15:55):
All right, So it was definitely Taylor took the weekend.
Not only did the album hit number one, and it
also was in the box office and it brought in
thirty three million dollars. This was just basically a sing
along party that she turned into something. She's such a
mastermind when it comes to marketing that everyone can get
involved in something that she's doing, Like we hosted a
(16:17):
party on Friday.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Night at the Liberty.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
So anyway, so the album was also the most streamed
album in a single day for.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Twenty twenty five.
Speaker 6 (16:25):
The other thing was that Taylor mentioned fifty cent in
one of her songs.
Speaker 9 (16:32):
Was loving this because who knows the switches are gonna
go through all his catalog to find what scient is right,
and that's gonna just.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Like launches him all over exactly got a.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Lot of money in his pocket.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
But I want to note, I want to note that
that wasn't the first person that he shouted out. I
just want to let that be known. Oh yeah, I.
Speaker 6 (16:53):
Was the first, so thank you fifty.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
We also had that screening The Kiss went to wait
screening for the movie Saturday morning, which we gave away
passes for Good.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Morning Morning Show.
Speaker 16 (17:04):
I just wanted to say thank you so much for
the tickets to the premiere of the Life of a
Show Girl.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
The movie was great.
Speaker 16 (17:14):
My daughter and I went in Boston Common. We had
such a great time on Saturday.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Just wanted to.
Speaker 16 (17:21):
Say thank you for all the hard work you guys
put in and just what a great show you guys
go on. So have a great day.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
You're very welcome. Glad you enjoyed. She loved it. She
sounded like she was up late last night watching that
Patriots game. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:35):
Yeah, So we're going to move a little bit away
from Taylor now because other stuff happened.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Over the weekend.
Speaker 6 (17:41):
Bad Bunny hosted SNL and he had a pretty interesting monologue.
Speaker 10 (17:45):
No, no, but really, I'm very excited to be doing
the Super Bowl and I know that people all around
the world who love.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
My music are also happy.
Speaker 10 (17:55):
Almen tea Latino, la la ladina and.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Yaqui.
Speaker 10 (18:05):
And if you didn't understand what I just said, you
have four months to learn.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
So hot when a guy speaks Spanish. I gets language.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
It's just so I'm back and forth. So talented. Did
he got four years on Friday? If you miss that?
So I think we have his lawyer out.
Speaker 17 (18:31):
There is a human being now in custody for fifty
months based upon conduct that the jury heard, the jury resolved,
and the jury rejected. It is really a sad day
for everybody.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
So I predicted time served or up to three to
four years. So he ended up getting fifty months. He'll
be out in about two and a half years.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
But you're on the money because he's done fourteen months.
Speaker 9 (19:02):
He's in thirty six months, which three years, and then
you said he'll do like two and a half more.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Yeah. I was waiting all day for the for the
sentencing to come down. A crazy fact. Did he book
the speaking engagement in Miami next week? They thought he
was getting out. He thought he was walking on a narcissist.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yeah, but there was a thinking.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
There was a chance, definitely, But he did not walk
in by the way. He broke down in court on
his knees crying. Never a good look.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
I saw the sketch.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Yeah, oh my god, come on, even let's pull yourself together.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Come on, you know you'd be out in two and
a half. I know it's a long time. So when
they say fifty months, though that you subtract time, serve
correct the fourteen months that he's been in and then
you do eighty five percent, So it's about two and
a half. He has roughly.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Matt Damon.
Speaker 6 (19:49):
You know they have this feud. He has this feud
with Jimmy Kimmel got funny. Yeah, and it's been going
on for so many years. Well, on Friday he was
back on the show.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
We've been at this for a long time. I mean together,
I mean almost together for like twenty three years. I
just want to say goodbye. Wait, this isn't my last
show ever. It isn't. No, we have a show Monday.
This is so. But the President canceled you, which I
(20:20):
was a big fan of, by the way. I mean
when he said you had like zero ratings and no talent.
I was like, I've been saying that for years. We
didn't get canceled. We're off the air for three nights.
You serious?
Speaker 10 (20:35):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Is there like some kind of appeals process.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
That sucks?
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Nice language in low life? You kiss your mother with
that mouth? No, I kiss your mother with you.
Speaker 6 (20:52):
He showed up in this like furry green suit, like
in disguise, so Kimmel didn't know who it was at first. God,
I love that. I love Matt Damon so so much.
We mentioned the Tailor Swift documentary and how it broke
all records. It made thirty three million dollars at the theaters.
You know, it didn't break any records. The Smashing Machine
it came in at a dismal six million, and I
(21:14):
know that Justin went to see it.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
Had a budget of fifty million. Yeah, bombed big time.
It wasn't that good. And you're a big fan, so
for you to say that, so I will say the
Rocks performance was unbelievable. It was so good. He was
so good in it. I mean that that part was great.
The storyline just kind of fell flat. I wanted more
from it, and it's understandable. It's not like a true biopic.
(21:39):
It's only three years of this guy's life, so it
picks up in nineteen ninety seven and just takes him
through three years of his life and career. It's just
like it just was weak, the story, you know what
I mean. But the Rocks performance was good.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
So well, maybe he'll be nominated for that at some
of the you know, the award shows.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
That's what he wants, which would be great he's looking for.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Yeah, but it's gonna lose a bunch of money.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
Money, Yeah, a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
They're not even gonna break even in the rate.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
They're going a lot of money.
Speaker 10 (22:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (22:05):
Justin sounds like that father who's like Sons the quarterback
football team that keeps losing.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
He's like, yeah, they lost, and my son played a
great game. Yeah, four touchdowns trophy. I know it was
a passion project for him, and you know he wants
to be recognized for that as he should.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 6 (22:21):
Okay, So so Brinna Copper and we were talking about her.
She's on the Tailor album. She performed in Austin at
the Austin City Limits Festival this weekend and she brought
Shania Twaina.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
I love that.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
That's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
I love it. Shania Tweens sound a good member.
Speaker 9 (22:41):
She had like a weird batch of shows when she
was on tour like a year or two ago, and
she was wearing like weird wigs, like lip singing, Yeah
she's back.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
She also brought out you know Joe Keary from Stranger
Things Our Guy.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
He was on stage with her too, and they sang Juno.
Speaker 5 (22:59):
You know, Joe, it's it's actually cuffing season.
Speaker 12 (23:02):
I don't know if you know that.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
It's like we're getting.
Speaker 5 (23:07):
I was wondering if you you seem very he grew absolutely,
this is so rare.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Okay, you're the one.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
We did it, Joe.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
And Hancock Joe Carrey from newbury Port, Massachusetts. I guess
the internet is calling for them to be dating. That's
what I'm seeing.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
I don't see it.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Yeah, I could see it.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Maybe she seemed to be a little bit smitten with them.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
I think.
Speaker 6 (23:30):
So she's going to be a grand old opera tomorrow night.
Oh wow, I'm too in Nashville. That's very cool.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Yeah, let's get back to Shania Twain. Okay, she had
a little rough patch. Yeah, she's doing better now.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
She is back and looking great. By the way.
Speaker 6 (23:52):
Another weird story was that Mac Jones they were playing
the Rams there at Marina del Rey. He was leaving
the hotel that they were staying at and he's saw
a dead body floating in the water.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Isn't it weird?
Speaker 3 (24:05):
That is so weird. But where were they.
Speaker 6 (24:07):
They were playing the Rams, So they were Marina Delray
at the hotel and he was out on the balcony
and he just saw this floater whoa really weird off.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Mac Jones had such an interesting year.
Speaker 9 (24:19):
He's playing well.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
He won that game.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Too, He did good for him.
Speaker 7 (24:25):
Yeah, we were the wrong place when he was in
the Patriots. I started like feeling bad for him.
Speaker 9 (24:31):
So I'm happy you're not doing well, Bill Belichick, and
that just warms my heart.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
Yeah, the Bill Belichick thing is a complete failure. Yeah,
it's not It's not a good end to his legacy.
He could have just ended on top.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
He should have.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
Yeah, because if you think about it, right, he was
a losing coach with the Jets, then he won with
the Patriots, obviously in Brady, and then he was a
losing coach when Brady left, and I was a losing
coach at UNC. I would have just ended it.
Speaker 9 (24:57):
And Brady's doing well, Matt Johnes is doing well, even
Mac Jones's doing well.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
You know what's doing well? My book club. There's a
book club tonight.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
That's gonna am I a radiant book club.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
It's at the Revere Hotel, Boston with Patricia Cornwell. She
has sold over one hundred and twenty million copies. Her
new book is coming out actually tomorrow. We have it
tonight before.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
It actually hits. That's awesome, Like, yeah, so it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Good morning, guys, Welcome back Billy and Lisa's show here
justin Lisa, Winnie and MIKEYV sitting in for Billy Costa
A reminder, Billy is in Africa. He'll be checking in
right around nine to ten this morning. We'll find out
what's going on there with the elephants and the giraffes
and all that fun stuff. But it is a Monday morning.
So I was checking in with the crew and what
they did this weekend and some interesting stuff. So, uh
(26:24):
doing some things that we don't want to do, right.
Uh Well Whennie, first of all, you almost broke your neck.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
I did almost chaplion park, Yes, what happened there.
Speaker 9 (26:34):
So my nieces wanted to go to launch, which is
a couple of them, but I know launch, okay, So
I want to do it to a different one that
was like, in my eyes, more friendly for an adult
because I wasn't going to kill myself. So we went
and we took them to the launch and there's like
a little like air thing you can jump into like land,
so you can land into like.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
A big thing of air supposed to be softly.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Right, Okay. So my niece is like, I to do it.
Speaker 9 (26:57):
So I start to get some air like on the
you know, the champoline, and I'm like, okay, I can
do this, Like I'm gonna do this, and I go
to get I got to get some air, and as
I'm coming down to get into the jump, I slip
on the outer part of the trampoline which is more.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Of like that plastic material where.
Speaker 9 (27:14):
You can walk in between, and so I don't clear
anything and I go headfirst into the little air thing. Yes, guys,
I am in so much pain this morning. I literally
thought I broke something like broke my neck. Like I
was in there for like three minutes. My overre had
to come pull me out and I was just like,
oh my god, I'm so sore. I feel so like
(27:35):
it's my half back up. I don't know what I did,
but I landed directly on my neck and my head,
and I just I could have done.
Speaker 6 (27:43):
I didn't think, like I've always taken my kids to those.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Places and I've never participated.
Speaker 15 (27:48):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
I don't participate. I just watched me too. Yeah, because
you get injured, Winnie. Yeah, are you doing the thing
where when you turn you have to turn your.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Whole Oh yeah, running. I woke up like in legit.
Speaker 9 (27:59):
I couldn't get a bed and I took mad tile
and all like I I'm so And I was like
active yesterday all day, so I wasn't stiff. So as
soon as I slept, oh like slept last night, now
I'm so stiff. So I made sure to keep active yesterday.
So I wasn't in the shop at right now.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
I'm just I also went to the corn maze.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
We got lost in the corn maze.
Speaker 9 (28:18):
We went to like a farm and they had a
corn maze, and the girls wanted to do it, so
I'm like, okay, cool, we take the hay ride out.
We go to the corn maze, and I didn't follow
the map. I guess they gave you a map, but
I didn't think it was like legit. So we just
started getting lost. And then eventually we put my niece
on my boyfriend's head so she could like look above
and try to see something. We snuck out of the
(28:39):
corn maze.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
I could.
Speaker 9 (28:40):
I found a little like Entruary that they had blocked
off for like, you know, to knock get out of,
and I just we just went around because I was
not going to be in there longer than I need
to be. It was so hot yesterday, so the sun's
pounding on you. And I also probably spent one hundred
and eighty dollars yesterday.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
That also, all I heard was her boyfriends met family.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Family, Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah them.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
Maybe wedding bells one day, maybe yeah, dj okay. Then
mikey V was also out Out and about the fall festivities.
Oh yeah, well I was like three events.
Speaker 7 (29:13):
When me and Lisa started a Friday night we did
It's all sundam and relaxed, kickback, have a good time,
watch a Patriots game. A night I ended up at
two different farms apple picking.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Oh yeah, in the heat.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah, and the heat. We went in a showba and
we went to Lookout, which.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Is in so they have apples left over.
Speaker 7 (29:30):
I'm gonna be honest. We did apple pick. We just
went there a couple drinks and too a couple of pictures.
That was more of what we did. But I was
at there do whatever my wife wanted. It's all about
the Instagram pick.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
It really is.
Speaker 7 (29:40):
We were walking around and uh, at one point is
like going to perfect spot for a picture, and that's
like it's like all we did.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
For I'll post picture A day of fall stuff. Yeah,
I got out of two apple picking events this weekend.
What's the kick out of it? Yeah? Well, because that's
what you do, especially when you have kids. You know,
you go to all the apple picking and fall stuff.
And my mother in law, who lives downstairs off to
go both times. So I was like, I'll just stay home.
My wife was not happy, especially after the second day
(30:09):
hours with the kids. But you know, she said I
could stay home. You know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (30:12):
It was that like you can stay home, which really
means you better get your butt.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Yeah out there. She wasn't happy about it.
Speaker 6 (30:19):
Well, I was supposed to go apple picking, but I
have a book club tonight, so I.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Read a book.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
You had to cram your book.
Speaker 6 (30:25):
I crammed the book and then I was up at
six yesterday morning doing notes for tonight.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
So it was a busy weekend.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Goes into the book club. Yeah, well, the top Field
Fair is going on beautiful weather for that.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
I went.
Speaker 9 (30:39):
Actually on Saturday, I went to the My god, what
I know, I had I had quite the weekend. We
went and I got we didn't really get the lines
are really long for the ride, so we didn't get
any rides. We did those like you know, arcade games.
I got you stuffed animals.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
I love the arcade games.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
I love them.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
I always go water or whatever, ping punk ball.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Yeah, it didn't even feel like a fall weekend. Those weekends.
I was like sweating.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
It felt like June.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Yeah, yeah, it's good. It's good for the top Field Fair.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Oh yeah, so many people there.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
I think I saw a report this morning. They're projected
to make like have like the biggest attendance of all time,
but which is really cool. Everybody was out this one. Yeah,
well that's what everyone's doing now, the fall festivities. Yeah,
you know what I mean, apple picking and all that stuff. So,
you know what, that's a good talk. Are you doing
any of that stuff?
Speaker 4 (31:25):
Now?
Speaker 5 (31:26):
It's topic time for the Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Oh man, what a beautiful weekend. It was. Whatever you did,
the weather was great. Man, it's great to be outside,
really warm for October. I know, Lisa, you spent the
weekend reading above the.
Speaker 6 (31:41):
Pool, so at least, yeah, I got to sit outside.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
Yeah. Is a pool still open through it though?
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Oh yeah, it's oppened until November first.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
Can I come over and swim?
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (31:52):
I went to Lisa's house with my son Abel, and
he was He saw Lisa's pool and he goes, why
doesn't our pool look like that pool? Yeah? Do it?
So we're talking about fall festivities and things like that.
When he was out this weekend. Mikey V was out
this weekend. I did not go out with my family.
They went out without me, which was a big deal
(32:12):
in my house and my wife was not happy. But
I do want to mention that my favorite place to
go is this place in Amesbury called Cider Hill. That's
a hot tip, miikey for your next outing with your
beautiful wife. That came up when I looked them all
up yesterday. Their donuts, the are ridiculous. Yeah, like the
cider donuts. I probably eat like ten when I go. Yeah,
they're so good, so good.
Speaker 15 (32:33):
Apple picking hate it. I do not understand why New
Englanders are so obsessed, emerging only from Long Island, and
I just don't get it. I've lived here for thirty years.
It is not sinking in. It is boring. It's ridiculous.
Go to stop and hump, I did it all the time.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Go to the grocery store. Oh you can't get that
Instagram picture at the grocery store. Yeah, it's an experience,
especially it's good for kids.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
It's so a week over a year.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
And you're right. You can do the corn maze and
those cider donuts.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
Yeah. And the hay rides. Yeah, the hay rides are
really cool too.
Speaker 18 (33:13):
U morning, guys. I don't go apple picking because I'm
not spending that much money for apples that I can
get better ones at the grocery store for a lot less.
But I do go pumpkin picking. So I love going
to like the farms that have where you can go
out and pick your own pumpkin in the field, and
then they always have like cider, donuts and halftime. They
have hay rides and all sorts of games and mazes
(33:34):
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
I love that.
Speaker 18 (33:35):
So I do mac Farms in Dairy or Marini Farms
down a, mass because I live in New Hampshire.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
I don't know that one.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
I got a Shelburn in Stow, Mass Yeah.
Speaker 9 (33:46):
Yeah, to Wardsberry Farm and Sharing yesterday and they had
the tractor you know, hay ride that brings you out
and you can go pumpkin picking. They have like peppers
or potatoes, like whatever it's crop they have available. You
can actually buy like a bag and then go fill
it up. So in like some flower and stuff.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
Kind of cool.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
I want to hear something interesting about pumpkins. So last
October we had pumpkins, you know, around the house and
in the back of my house we have a patio
that's kind of attached to the house and some pumpkin
seeds must have spilled out maybe when the pumpkins rotted
and I moved it. And I'm growing pumpkins on my patio.
Speaker 14 (34:21):
Up.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
Yeah, there's two pumpkins that are growing. They're actually like
pretty good size. They're growing out of like out of
like concrete. So think about this, right, Like my my grandmother,
my wife's grandmother, who lives downstairs, has a full garden
and she has plants that she waters every day and
takes care of that. Don't grow these pumpkins. I've done nothing.
We've done nothing, and they're growing. That's so cool. It's interesting.
(34:42):
I've saved a whole lot of money by going pumpkin
picking in your backyard.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
I actually have an apple tree in my backyard with
a lot of apples on it. Oh you do, yeah,
swim and go apple wow.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Oh man, they're free.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
Ye.
Speaker 14 (35:00):
Hi, guys, I wanted to let you know that my
fall activity was going golfing for the first time down
on Long Beach Island in New Jersey.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
It was great.
Speaker 14 (35:10):
I can't wait to go again.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
That's fun.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Oh there you go, all right, Hi, I.
Speaker 14 (35:14):
Just left you a message about going golfing. My name
is Sue and I'm from Rhode Island.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
Okay, we got Thank you Sue, thank you golfing? All right,
how about a tip and now golf tips with Riley
dune off it.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
For maximum spin on your tip shots.
Speaker 14 (35:32):
Take the club slightly outside, not inside, and cut down
into the left.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
I love him. He was so much younger back then.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
That's Lisa's sun rise.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
Yeah, he's a good golfer. We golf pretty much every day.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Need a big time golfer.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
He's a big time golfer.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
Yeah, legitimate golfer. Yes to practice.
Speaker 11 (35:48):
Oh yeah, my god, Justin I I'm so happy that
you just mentioned Cider Hill. I love that place. They
have the best donuts and they're cattle corn. Cattle like popcorn.
Is so good. My fiance and I are actually having
our engagement shoot there this week.
Speaker 18 (36:08):
So y cool.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
I love cattle corn. That's a good little tip.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
Yeah. I think all these places are really good. Yeah.
You know, you get a warm apple sided don it,
it's gonna melt in your mouth. It's going to be good,
you know. I know everyone has their favorites, but we
mentioned earlier winning broker in neck at the trampoline Park.
How you failing Winny.
Speaker 13 (36:26):
Not that great.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah, well your next moving Yeah, okay, I'm okay, all.
Speaker 15 (36:30):
Right, Wharney, you have ampty injuries. Oh my goodness, you're
the best Ampty ever. And now look at you. Hey,
call the doctor if they'll give you some muscle relaxers
and then do an ig live while you're on those,
because they're entertaining better.
Speaker 9 (36:47):
Okay, okay, he's rather just pop an audible or something
instead of going to Yeah, I don't do that.
Speaker 11 (36:52):
I took my son apple picking at Cider Hill Firm
this weekend.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
It was awesome and them, Yeah, we.
Speaker 18 (36:59):
Got a whole bushel of apples and we made apple crisp,
apple pie.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
We're gonna make apple cider, and we're gonna do apple sauce.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
Also.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Oh that's fun.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
Apple cris is made. So think about apple picking. Though
you get all the apples, you do that stuff you make,
you know, the apple crisp, but then you have all
these leftover apples that you don't know what to do with.
But now we have chickens at my house and if
you know that, mikeyickens, and they eat everything. We give
them everything. Yeah, leftovers like we had. I had leftover
(37:32):
ground beef from like my mail prep for the week.
We gave them that they eat themselves. They eat chicken,
well you feed them chicken, yeah, chicken nuggets. They eat
literally everything. They pumpkins. She brought home many pumpkins from
apple picking and they ate the pumpkins. Did want the chickens?
My wife, she wanted the chickens. Yeah, yeah, if you
(37:55):
follow them on my Instagram at justin Beezy, I posted
a video of ring camera footage. So the predators are
getting closer and closer. We had a possum the other night. Yeah,
you can see the video.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Just not an attractive creature.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Awesome. Yeah, they're not at all. And then last week
we had a different I forget what kind of animal
it was, but she has all these booby traps around
the chicken coop, so like when an animal steps close,
the light goes on. Yeah, and then the possum was
was crawling on the side of the chicken coop and
if the alarm she has an alarm on her phone.
It woke her up while she was sleeping. She turned
on the camera and saw the possum trying to get in,
(38:32):
and she turned the light on inside the chicken coop
so the light you can see the light flash on
