Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, welcome back. Time to play the Mega match game.

(00:02):
But we need a collar twenty five at six months
seventy nine three one one one eight and uh, while
we wait for college twenty five, my son Chris is
in studios with us. He's about to bord a plane
for Fanatics Fest in New York City.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
This is a big deal, right, It's a big one, huge,
huge show, huge production. Now, about a week ago, you
were at a big UFC event.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Where was that?

Speaker 3 (00:27):
That was in New Jersey at the Prudential Center.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Right, and you were within a couple of feet of
the President of the United States. That's right, Yeah, Commander
in Chief. Were you interrogated by Secret Service at all
or no?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
But I did see the Secret Service activity, which is
impressive to watch the sweeping of the room. They're checking
some people's IDs that they don't know or you know
who they are completely sure. It's a whole operation. Now
very important because you were so close. Did you have
to be screened or something in advance? I wasn't screened.
I assume I was looked into at some point. I'm

(00:59):
assuming anybody in that section was looked into. But no screening,
no follow.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Up questions, facial recognition, Yeah, a lot, get you every intelligence.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Before we get to fanatics, vest and your partnership with
Tom Brady, we should just address the elephant in the
room first. Yeah, please, let's do it, big letdown. You're
all over social media because you're now partnered with Tom Brady.
It's card Vault by Tom Brady and all over social
you're wearing the new merch but these sweatshirts, baseball jerseys, hats, everything.

(01:33):
Father's Day together a week or so ago, and it
was agreed upon that you would bring the new merch
in for the team.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Not here, not a week or so ago, four and
a half days ago. And I don't know if you remember,
Actually I know you don't remember.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
At this point.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
We had a very detailed conversation, you and I during
our lovely Father's Day morning, and I explained to you
that the new merch our restock was ordered and on
its way and we expected maybe a friday delivery, Yeah,
maybe a weekend delivery. Today's Wednesday. Yeah, so that would
mean it's not here. You've been wearing it, clearly, all

(02:10):
of our social media has a right.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Now he's wearing.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Yeah, but I think that was the first run.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
It was a first run. That's a bold move. It
came without merchant.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
War run first run.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Okay, let's go to we're going to play the match game.
If you don't, let's do it. Yeah, Caitlin, what's their

it's still early in the mega match game. What on
the very first day the v bros did have a winner.
They got four jingle ball tickets.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
It's been several plays, so you have to be following along.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay, are you following along?

Speaker 7 (02:57):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Okay, Caitlyn. Lisa is set up up at the game board.
Yes I am.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
It's time to play Kiss one away.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
All right, Caitlin, we're on the board. Let's go. What
do you want to pick first? Caitlin? Oh my god,
she's gone. She seemed a little shaky right at the outset.
I want to be honest with you.

Speaker 6 (03:31):
Just pick up the next The next concern our phones
are working just by so many?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Are you sure with your fat fingers?

Speaker 6 (03:41):
I was not even at the board for a second.
So it was not me.

Speaker 8 (03:44):
Okays, it was definitely not when he's okay, what's what's worse?

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Dropping off in the middle of the match game, the
mega match game, or not showing up with the merks
that you promised?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
What I mean, I'm glad everybody's picking up on that.

Speaker 6 (04:00):
Alison.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Now all right, Alison. Good morning. Oh my god, you're lucky, Alison,
you get to play the game.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
How are you. We're doing fun? Where are you, Alison?

Speaker 7 (04:13):
We are calling from Halifax.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
I'm actually out on a walk with my kids.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Okay, be careful in the streets of Halifax. I'm hearing things. Okay,
be very don't hit any buttons on your phone. Okay,
because Caitlyn hit something and now she's gone. So what's
her name again, al Alison, pick a number? Go ahead.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
The first number is.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Alright, lucky number. It's Benson Boone at the Garden. That's
a that's a big reveal.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Oh Alison, what's going to be your next pick?

Speaker 7 (04:47):
The next one is.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Morgan wall at Gillette.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Two big shows beg see now people, yeah, people listening?
Now you He's got two big unveils. Okay, so make
sure you're taking notes and keeping track. But Alison, I'm
sorry you didn't win, but you seem like a lovely person.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Okay, thanks for listening. You can play any other time
because you didn't win. Yeah, twelve ten is your next.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
Don't worry.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Okay, Billy and Lisa every morning.

Speaker 9 (05:19):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Wait, So a couple of minutes ago, we didn't have
a winner in the Mega match game, but we did
have a couple of big reveals, and we'll do the
Mega match game again justin when.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Twelve ten and three ten today?

Speaker 1 (05:30):
All right? So twelve ten with the mighty McCabe, three
to ten with the big bros who had the very
first winner on the very first day. And my son
Chris Costa is here. I don't know why when I
addressed my son, I call him by Chris Costa.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Well you do it to Lisa too, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
He would do it a weird thing to me, but
he's my last name.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
No mind, neither you. If you were to threaten me
with a weapon, I couldn't tell you your last night.
Isn't that weirdly weird? Anyway? Chris? This weekend, uh, well,
you're gonna be with Tom Brady again this weekend, right, Yeah, Yeah, we're.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Gonna be down in New York City at Fanatics Fest
at the Javit Center all weekend long.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Now, does Tom Brady have any of the new merch?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
He does.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
He certainly does with all of it.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
Yeah, see that wait question for you. Did he help
in designing the merch?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Tom has more of an input than most realize in
everything we're doing. He's very involved, which is I think
the coolest part of this whole thing.

Speaker 8 (06:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
He's always had a good like aesthetic.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, good ay. Yeah. And there's a fact about your business,
our card Vault now by Tom Brady that shocks me
to this minute that your plan is to open one
hundred stores.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
In the next year at least not in the next
one more and the next year would be intense. No,
it's a store a month right now. But until we
get to one hundred and then we'll see where we
go from there.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Wow. So this weekend is Fanatics Fest. It's at the
Javit Center in New York City. What is Fanatics Fest?

Speaker 2 (06:57):
So, Fanatics Fest is a massive production where fanatics. Michael
Ruben's company brings together the entire world of sports fanatics,
everything from leagues, to companies in the space, to memorabilia,
to sports card and trading card dealers. He brings together
all of his own brands, Tops Fanatics, Authentic Mitchell and

(07:20):
Ness Lidds, and all of the leagues and a bunch
of celebrities and athletes come together under one roof and
it's this massive festival of activations and fan engagement and
competitions and buying and selling and trading. It's it's pretty amazing.
So LYDDS is still in the game in a big way.
That's kind of cool, big time. Yeah, over a thousand
stores across countries.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
So listeners can go they want to, right, absolutely, Yeah,
by tickets.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah, it's open to the public. And the athlete and
celebrity roster is nuts.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
I'm looking at it right now.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Tom Brady, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, It's Livvy Dunn, It's
Travis Scott, Travis Scott. And that's not even the hundreds now,
Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Dana White.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
It's nuts.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Aren't you hosting a panel with Tom Brady and actress
Emma Roberts. How does she fit into this? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (08:12):
So Tom Brady, myself Emma Roberts and Logan Paul Oh
are doing yes.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
On a panel at Fanatics in New York this weekend
with my son.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I'm hosting four events throughout the weekend for Fanatics. One
is the panel called Ready Set collect that's.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
What you work now for Michael Rubins too.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
We're very close partners of Michaels and Fanatics and they,
you know, which I'm appreciative of, have leaned into us
and me as kind of a help on the talent
front when it comes to hosting things and mceing events.
I happen to have that in my blood somehow or somewhere.
But yeah, we're doing a panel centered around celebrity collectors,

(08:51):
collectors that are celebrities and how they got started, where
they see the industry going, what are some of the
things that they're going after and targeting. Emma Roberts has
become I'm a well known collector. She's collected movie props
and things along those lines over the years, but got
into trading cards over the last few years.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Interesting, what's the who's the biggest celebrity that you've sold
a card to? Oh?

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Good question, I would say, I mean Dana White, Who's
who's a friend but has become a huge collector.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
He's been to Dana White's home. He's a friend in
his office.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
And Dana has been a great friend of ours, but
has become a huge collector.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
And no, we do not do sleepovers.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
I know and house and all of a sudden it's
a sleep and they're in the cold plunge.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Funny funny story.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
When the Angels were just in town playing the Red Sox,
I sold some cards to Mike Trout.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Mike Trout, the Mike Trout were the.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Greatest baseball players of our generation. Yeah, he he hit
me up. He's in town. He was looking for some
boxes to rip on his flight home. He's a huge
collector and and collects and chases a lot of his
own stuff with his kid. Uh, and he's trying to
build a collection for his kid.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
So that was a cool moment.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Now, what's the most valuable card that you have in
your private collection?

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Private collection? My private collections changed a lot over the years.
As we started the business. I had to start focusing
less on my own stuff and really more treat the
business as my collection because I have to manage.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Our in military.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
What's the most valuable card you're holding at Cardballed by
Tom Brady right now.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Right now, we have a PSA five nineteen fifty two
tops Mickey Mantle. It's probably a two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars card. We have a couple of other cards
that are in that range, some really rare Tom Brady
stuff obviously.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
So when you're set up at Fanatics this weekend in
New York, what is your main goal?

Speaker 10 (10:36):
So?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Card Vault will have a huge booth like a trade
show booth that you'd see at a trade show, and
we're buying and selling and trading all weekend, and we
have an exhibit, a vault room, if you will, that
showcases a lot of Tom's personal collection, getting used memorabilia
from Super Bowls as well as his card collection. But
for us as a team, we're buying, selling and trading.

(10:57):
We have everything on display. We have a retail counter
setup by. They purchased sealed product, they purchased singles.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
It's it's a cool event.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Now, can you do me a couple of favors? When
you're there in New York, you're going to be with
tom My fourth son, So can you remind him that
he did invite me to the house in Miami? He did, Yeah,
you were here. I'll make sure he is that the
opening in Miami for a card Bolts. We'll be in Miami,
we we think before.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
The end of the year.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
If he wants to include all of us from the
Billy and Lisa Morning Show, will actually do an entire
show from his home and road show. Yeah yeah, like
out on the Wall, the Inerasural.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Roadshow from his bedroom. Yeah yeah, No, we all invited
to the opening.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Of course.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
You guys are invited to every single opening.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
I just want to make sure in Miami we're going
to broadcast live from somewhere in my life.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
Well store, we'll at least go. We we have to
work on the details.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
I mean, I'll make sure that the listeners are aware.
The Billy and Lisa team have been invited to every
single grand opening and they have not been at one yet.

Speaker 6 (11:54):
So okay, I didn't know I was anywhere.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
We wanted you to get the kings out. Sure, yeah,
I mean the first two three openings. One other thing, though,
a Fanatics is a merchandise festival, right, So the Billion
Lisa Morning Show was wondering, since you're going to be
there all weekend? Would you be willing to wear a
billion Lisa hoodie in the in the card Ball by

(12:19):
Tom Brady booth and you can bring an extra for Tom.
I'm gonna wear it in the booth.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
You're gonna wear it during the panel on stage.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Everybody's gonna ask nobody else is gonna have it?

Speaker 8 (12:27):
Right, it's super limited conversation star conversation piece.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Yeah, Tom Brady, first thing is going to say to you,
what's with Billy and Lisa?

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Happy to do it?

Speaker 9 (12:37):
Tom?

Speaker 5 (12:38):
I want to buy into a book club.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Is he a big reader? The Brady book Club does
have a book?

Speaker 5 (12:46):
Yeah, we're doing it.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Book need to get it from.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
The workfast, right, Yeah? I well, Tom, we're working on it. Okay,
real quick, Chris, So, I'm looking at the schedule now.
So Tom is gonna be a panel at one thirty
with Travis Scott and Michael Rubin, and then at three thirty,
two hours later he's with you, Emma robertson logan logan Paul. So,
will you be at the earlier thing with him too?

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:11):
I'll be bouncing around. Like I said, I'm hosting four events.
So the morning of Friday We're going to be doing
kind of an activation at the booth with Tom and
a special surprise guest friend. Then we do the panel
at three thirty on Saturday, I'm hosting a VIP Kids
event with Tom, Quavo, Logan, Paul, Livvy Dunn.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Who Livy Done? Who is she? I don't know that Livy.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Dunn is the famous gymnast that dates Paul Skins.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
I love him.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
I though Paul Skins is probably the best pitcher in
Major League based.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
How do you know all this? You're like a sports savants.
My job, all three of my boys sports savants.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I'm actually going to Tom's apartment. This is I'm sorry,
what was a secret, But We're gonna be filming some
content at Tom's apartment for an upcoming episode of his
vlog with was the Mentalist?

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Oh my god, I just listened to his podcast. That's
who I was telling you about The Mentalist on Rogan unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeah, it's unbelievable. So is that going to be a sleepover.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
It's just gonna be some coffee.

Speaker 6 (14:21):
This is really weird that he wants you to have
sleep sleep He wants a bunch of grown men to.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Have sep He wants everyone there, you know, why not?
You know Miami. Remind Tom about Miami and he's not okay,
happy to do it all right? All right, Wow, that's exciting.

sounds like it's like you have to go to this event.

The Florida Paters were their second who. Brad marshaan big
factor in this series, talked last night about the last
minute trade that sent him from the Bruins to the Panther.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Yeah, it was a beautiful message from the killers rorew
so Riley's annoyed because she was rooting for the Oilers.
I mean, god, that's a lovely message from young kids. Anyway.
We like Brad marchhanm too, always been a nice Can
I tell you a quick Brad Marchhan story. Yeah, three
or four years ago I got a least car as

(17:31):
part of a business arrangement. The car before I had
it was Brad Marshan's. Oh and all of his CDs
and everything else in the car and everything.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Oh that's cool. Oh I thought you were going to
tell the donut story.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Oh yeah, Oh, the Brad Marchhan donut. And if you're
a sweet tooth, well you'll want to order the Marchianne,
that glazed donut with Canadian bacon and the sunny side
up quail egg. Strange life we've had. Yeah, I really
am Yeah. Do you think my kids think so? Definitely? Yeah,

(18:07):
they think I'm a little curse.

Speaker 6 (18:08):
It's just here, your oldest and he was just off air,
was just ragged on you to me and Lisa.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Yeah, he talks about me right now, my face. Yeah
to you. NBA Finals Thunder in the Pacers Game six tomorrow,
ninth under lead the series three games too, so we
could have an NBA champion tomorrow night. I'm just saying.
Red Sox six game winning streak stopped in Seattle. Mariner
shout us out eight zip. Meantime, my Raphael dever Is,

(18:34):
in his first game as a Giant, went two for
five with an RBI double. Remember we had our guy
Dan Shaughnessy on the show yesterday. Remember he said this.

Speaker 13 (18:43):
We want to playing first base against the Red Sox
Friday night in San Francisco. You're going to see him
out there, I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
And how about this Devers yesterday suggesting, yeah, he might
be playing first base eventually for the Giants here to
play wherever they want me to do and give. It's
not what he said when he was here. Flatly refused
to play first base. That's where it all started. When
they brought Bregman into third, they took the Devors out

(19:10):
of third. They said, we're gonna put you at first base.
He said, no, I'm not playing first base. Why DOESN'TY
learn English?

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Yeah, we were talking about that about there this morning.
He's been on the Red Sox, was on the Red
Sox for eight years.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
Yeah, he's been here for a long time.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
He just refused to or is he just it's weird.

Speaker 6 (19:25):
Well, sometimes you see him speaking English. Maybe he just
not speaking But no, you don't see. No this point
you figured it would be. I beg you he knows
more English than he lets on.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Well, you know it's going to be interesting. Red Sox
are playing the Giants in San Francisco all this weekend.
Yes they are, boy and.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Some stories just write themself.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
They really do. Don't think they go. Selena Gomez did
a remix of her twenty nineteen song I Can't Get
Enough for the release of her Wacky or Oreos. Yeah,
I can't kid. I king that a big song for her.

Speaker 6 (20:14):
No, I've never read it.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
No, that was we played that song on Kiss. Yeah, yeah,
it's Benny Blanco produced it twenty nineteen.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
What's it called?

Speaker 4 (20:22):
I can't get it? I can't get enough? Yeah for
her her oreos.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Get that a lot?

Speaker 6 (20:28):
What did you say?

Speaker 8 (20:29):
He says that he gets that a lot.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Okay, all right, go have an oreo. Cook it down.
So Justin Bieber and the Scooter Braun are finally settling
their feud. Originally, the rumor was that Scooter Braun owed
Bieber millions. Now the story goes, it's Justin Bieber who

(20:53):
owes Scooter bron millions. And there's been a lot of
speculation that Bieber has spent all his money. What's going
to happen?

Speaker 8 (21:00):
We've been talking about this for years that Bieber is
having money problems. He doesn't anymore because his wife Haley
just signed a deal close to a billion dollars for
her road beauty line with Elf Cosmetics.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
How do you get a billion dollars for a makeup line?

Speaker 5 (21:14):
They're doing it. It's called future sales.

Speaker 8 (21:16):
They think that there's a lot of growth in this
beauty line and Elf is going to help them do it.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
So we think that Haley's going to bail Justin out.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
Yeah, totally.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Well put it this way, if she has to, she can.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
Yeah, she can.

Speaker 6 (21:29):
Yeah, I don't do. They say what it is that
justin otism? I didn't see that.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
There's no number.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
Yeah, it's millions though, yeah, many millions.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
Is it five or fifty?

Speaker 4 (21:38):
No, it's upwards of fifty. I think are above that.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Oh boy, that's that's just speculation.

Speaker 8 (21:43):
No, but isn't it shocking that Justin doesn't have that?
I mean shocking you think he would have that?

Speaker 4 (21:48):
They say he blew through a half a billion?

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Oh my god, that hurts my soul.

Speaker 6 (21:53):
Where is his mom and dad?

Speaker 1 (21:55):
This is like, where are his real friends?

Speaker 6 (21:58):
I don't think he has any left?

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Well, kid Laroy's a real friend. Kid, let's with them sometimes?
Who are these characters he's with?

Speaker 7 (22:06):
Though?

Speaker 5 (22:07):
That's I know nobody knows.

Speaker 6 (22:09):
Yeah, Kilroy is like twenty No, I know he's not
going to give him life advice.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Kit Larroy's got his hand and Tate Gray's pocket. No
no no, no no no no no no.

Speaker 6 (22:26):
Very successful and really nice.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
He's always been so nice to us alone.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
I love kidding. No, I think it's a great thing.
Kid LaRoy top of the world. Now Tate the Great
top of the world, and eventually both of them will
be top of the world. Who's who's on top, that's
up to them any given day.

Speaker 8 (22:48):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Prosecution expected to rest by this Friday in the Diddy trial,
and yesterday the jury was shown videos of the freak Ofughs.

Speaker 6 (23:00):
I can't imagine in that jury room.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
There was some giggling on the jerrors, that's what they're saying.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Nervous laughter. I don't know what it was, but yeah, do.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
You think they saw celebrities on the video?

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Well, it's came out in the trial this week that
a big time mogul was involved in the freak Cops
that did he set up one of the freak offs
with a big time mogul in their wife. They didn't
say who it was.

Speaker 6 (23:26):
Can the jury tell us after what happened, like who
was in those videos?

Speaker 7 (23:31):
Or no?

Speaker 1 (23:32):
I don't know. I think they can speak. Oh boy.
Ariana Grande's grandmother died ninety nine years old. That's incredible
and apparently was on a couple of her songs. You
can hear her voice in this one.

Speaker 15 (23:45):
Bed with the Kiss good Night. It's the worst thing
to don do that, and if you can't, then if
you don't feel comfortable doing it, you're in the wrong place.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Get out, Yeah, just before we go.

Speaker 6 (24:04):
So weird to me that you're such a German phote,
But yet you make out with the dog.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
He's a good boy, that's right, Titus. Yeah, Mariah Carey
doesn't acknowledge her birthday and doesn't acknowledge time. I've got
it right here.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
Ry, Is it true you don't acknowledge the passative time?
That is true.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
What you mean by that? I just don't believe in it.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
What do you mean zones?

Speaker 6 (24:28):
No, No, just time, just time times and no clocks. No, no,
just not into that.

Speaker 5 (24:34):
Yeah, I don't let it go.

Speaker 6 (24:35):
Do you celebrate your birthday? I don't have a birthday?

Speaker 5 (24:38):
No, She explains a lot. She's always late for everything.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Like hours late.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
She doesn't believe in time except for when November first comes.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Right.

Speaker 10 (24:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
Well, I'm making her a lot of money.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
It makes her as a good justice.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Yeah, very good. You know, I do my.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
Best shes guys who are in their thirties, because she's
still thinks she's you know, in her thirties.

Speaker 7 (25:02):
Hey.

Speaker 10 (25:31):
Studios, we're back with a Billy and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Hey guys, welcome back and happy Wednesday to you. It is,
in fact, the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. And Lisa,
you made a good point a couple of minutes ago.
You said, you know, it's against the law to call
nine one one unless you have an actual emergency.

Speaker 5 (25:49):
Definitely against the law.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
All right, Well how about this police say this guy,
Samuel Lee Thomas, this is in Florida. They do wacky things,
you really do. He's called nine one one sixteen thousand
times over five years, with about thirty four hundred of
them coming since January alone. Is this about a neighbor

(26:13):
or something?

Speaker 8 (26:14):
Yeah, it's a family across the street in Saint Petersburg. Yeah,
he just keeps calling about the same family over and
over and over again.

Speaker 9 (26:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
They say he's using emergency calls to stock and harass
this particular family and their relatives. And he also parks
outside the house to yell insults. It's called mental illness.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
I think, yeah, I think he needs some treatment, maybe
some hospitalization or something.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
You know, I got to tell you something justin to
be honest with you. When I saw the headline, I
thought this might be you and your neighbor up there
in New Hampshire.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
No, but you know, it reminds me of the story
recently where my son, you know, he's eight years old,
and you know, one day he asked me randomly, you
know what nine to one woman was for, and I
explained it was for emergencies. You only call if you
really really need help, you are in trouble, and he
said okay. And then fast forward a week later, the
police were at my door, you know. And so apparently

(27:06):
what happened was he was down the street with his friend.
His friend was a couple of years older, had an
iPhone and another kid was kind of giving them trouble
and calling them bad names. And so he said to
his friend, let me use your phone, and he called
nine to one one.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
And they take it very seriously while they shut up
at your door.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
I mean, the Salem Hampshire police are awesome, Like they
were super cool about it. But I had to explain
to Abele. I'm like, he goes, I needed help. What
did I do wrong? And I go, well, you got
a point, but just come home and tell me.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Well, this guy with more than sixteen thousand calls to
nine one one was arrested and charge with misdemeanor stalking,
filing a false police report, and resisting arrest. He also
resisted was a crazy person.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
Yeah, you know, that's actually a good segment idea. I
would love to hear from nine to one one operator
on the craziest things. Oh calls they've gotten?

Speaker 5 (27:57):
Are they allowed to speak on that?

Speaker 1 (27:58):
I don't know. Maybe anonymous question? They may have signed
a form.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
Oh yeah, but what if they just anonymous? Like no,
they can. They can be anonymous and then you know,
not naming it.

Speaker 10 (28:08):
Talk back.

Speaker 6 (28:08):
Yeah, like, think about the amount of crimes that's happened
and like imagine gained the call, like a murder that
becomes like, you know, a dateline story or something like that.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
I never I haven't either me either, I never heard never.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
God forbid, I have.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
To right, You're right, God, we haven't.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
But when do you look like a nine one one?

Speaker 6 (28:26):
I've called nine one, but like for good things, like okay,
like a month ago, I was on the highway and
there was a ladder in the middle of the road,
so I called you because to we need to move it.
Obviously it was a steel ladder in like the middle lane.
Some brush fires I've seen.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
So this Florida thing, though, when you would do that
just to annoy a neighbor, I see that that is
definitely within your makeup. Sixteen thousand calls to nine one,
I mean like a crazy person, right list, I.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
Know if you do sixteen thousand, Yeah, yeah, I would
have a good reason.

Speaker 6 (29:03):
This guy the quarter and think about the family he's
calling it on. Can you imagine?

Speaker 1 (29:07):
I know? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (29:07):
Do we know what the actual reasons were, what the
beef was about?

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (29:12):
He said that.

Speaker 8 (29:13):
Last week he reported in Ar fifteen shooting at their barbecue,
but the police said they found kids playing in absolutely
no gunfire never happened.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Yeah, so he's a crazy person. Yeah, but it is
weird when you think of it. Most people have never
called nine one one. Yeah, I never have. I never have.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
I mean I would if I needed it, I would,
you know, on you we have a nine to one
one operator on the phone. I don't even want to
say her name. Let's just go to her. Let's sholl
be anonymous.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Somebody call nine one one. Well, all right, hello, and
let's keep you anonymous. So you are an Act of
nine one one recipient, like a receptionist.

Speaker 7 (29:56):
Well, technically I'm retired. I left about four you years ago.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Oh, so you can talk about anything you want now.

Speaker 7 (30:04):
Technically, yeah, there are some that have still have court
cases going on. But those ones I can't talk about.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
What's the craziest call you ever got?

Speaker 7 (30:15):
I feel like it would give a lot away. But
I think I can talk about public record. I don't
know if you remember back in Revere the husband that
said there was an intruder in his home that killed
his wife and it turned out it was actually him
who killed his wife.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
Oh and you were on the phone twenty fourteen, I
believe right, Uh.

Speaker 7 (30:38):
No, twenty sixteen, maybe I think that was Yeah, it
was I'm pretty sure it was twenty sixteen. So I
was on the phone with him as well as her
parents who were driving into town to try to figure
out what was going on. So that was like, that
was the craziest and probably the saddest. But I've had
some funny ones too. You know. There was this girl

(31:04):
that had like a phone that she used to just
watch YouTube on and she used to call us and
she'd be like, how are you today? And she would
just call. We'd have to be like hey, her parents,
like she called us again, like can you really turn
that function off on her phone?

Speaker 6 (31:18):
Please?

Speaker 7 (31:19):
But she would just call and they thought she was
pretending to pretend playing on her phone.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
So how intense is the training to become a nine
to one one operator? I mean, you know the training.

Speaker 7 (31:33):
Yeah, the training. We have to go into a like
a learning program and it can range between three and
five weeks depending on your city's requirements.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
That's all.

Speaker 7 (31:44):
It's just well, it's really a lot of like paperwork,
like you not paperwork, like a lot of studying. You
have to know a lot of the commands that come
from like fire fire fires. They have their own language.
Police officers have their own language, and when you work

(32:05):
with both of those people, you have to understand what
they're saying, what they're using. Like so the training is
like officially like four or five weeks, but then you
train with a senior operator for months. I don't even
think I was taking phone calls alone until almost six
months after I started.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Have you ever gotten one of those calls that we
see in the movies all the I'm in the bet
they closet upstairs, but somebody has broken it. I can
hear them downstairs.

Speaker 7 (32:34):
Yes, Well, because of where I live, that does kind
of happen a lot. And I did nine one one
and dispatch for the city that I live in, and
it's kind of a high crime rate, so we did
have a lot of those break in type situations.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
And you can save lives if you give them the
right instructions, right, Yes.

Speaker 7 (32:56):
I actually I give technically not I didn't give first,
but I helped assisted a woman given birth and I
heard the baby be born in she was on the
she was in a car. I almost said the highway,
but she was on the car in the highway.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
That happens pretty regularly.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Yeah, Oh, this is awesome, This is awesome. Thank you
so much for listening, and thanks for the call. I
love this show. You just say something and somebody.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Responds, Yeah, that's all the crazy calls you must get,
all these crazy people.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
I'd watched that person's face burned to a Chris. If
I was within striking distance, I wouldn't even make an
attempt for someone else. I don't give up about Oh
my God, holy kiss. Time for talk back leftovers, justin

(33:52):
you've got a lot in it. I definitely too.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
I thank you to everybody who checked in this morning
about all the various topics that we cover. It was
a busy show. And you know, we just played the
nine to one to one, uh story. We're playing the
Sean Kingston song you know this one? And what are
the chances we have a Sean Kingston on the talkbacks?

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Gone from Kingston, look for your Digestin last day of
fourth grade for my.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Daughter, my wife won a raffle with the PTO and
she got.

Speaker 10 (34:20):
To ride and a fire drug on her way to school.

Speaker 12 (34:23):
Today, lights flashing half day for her as well.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
That's amazing, that's pretty cool. My son won a raffle
last year. He got a ride in the police cars.
They came to the house with the lights flashing.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Did you tell him that you've gotten to ride in
police cars too?

Speaker 1 (34:39):
I did not.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
Yeah, we're sure name in the back of the scene
or something, But he now knows because his friend down
the street showed him the Channel five news story they
did on me.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
That was a conversation.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
Oh, yes, always the friends. It's always the friends, the friends.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
So that was an interesting conversation. But you know what
better that happened now than exactly you know what I mean?
Speaking of nine one one and calling.

Speaker 10 (35:04):
Nine one one, Good morning everyone. I've had to call
nine one one so many times, unfortunately for myself and others.
The last time was when I was walking down the street.
I saw this woman trip off of a step and
she fell on the floor and she didn't realize that

(35:25):
she was gushing blood out of her mouth, and I
saw her teeth on the sidewalk.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
Whoa, that's to help her pick up the teeth to her?

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Billy billy, right, don't even ask. It's just a horrible fall.

Speaker 5 (35:40):
That's horrible.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
Are you laughing at our teeth in the ground?

Speaker 1 (35:43):
Spitting chick lits not forbid?

Speaker 4 (35:47):
Yeah, this is something about stairfall that just hilarious to me.
This is that PBA disorder that we were talking.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Yes, I can.

Speaker 5 (35:59):
There's no give to set of stairs.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
No. Well, okay, let's say you're in the mall or
something and you see someone fall down the escalator.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
You're not going to laugh. Well, I'd ask if they
were okay.

Speaker 8 (36:09):
First, Yeah, that's like really hard, that's a hard fall.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Oh it's cast diron.

Speaker 6 (36:16):
Yeah, just fall down escalator recently. Actually ever, he fell
down escalator.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Yeah, I did not know that. Yeah, he messed up
his legs Cambridge Side Galeria.

Speaker 6 (36:27):
Yeah, someone yelled hey Billy Costas on the escalator.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
He looked up and then he felt I was on
my stomach two seconds later. Oh you didn't tell me
this is the marble floor. You think that hurts?

Speaker 4 (36:37):
Oh well, I'm sure hopefully there was someone to laugh
at you for Drew Riley's laughing hysterically.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Laughing and pointing.

Speaker 13 (36:43):
Yeah, how is Carrie again? Checking in? I was the
one that did the beautiful sailing trip through Croatia and
now we're increased and I want to know can I
come back to Boston? Please tell me the weekends are
getting a little better. And it stopped raining talk too
soon and love listening to you from across the world.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
It's funny. She mentions the weekend, right, because Saturday is
supposed to be nice, but rain is coming in Saturday night.
So if it comes in before midnight, it'll be the
fourteenth right.

Speaker 8 (37:16):
S yes, exactly, and it potentially could nighttime though yes,
not during the day, no nighttime.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
The farm animals, well, we have a party for my daughter,
she turns three on Saturday, my daughter, Gemma, and so
we have this petting zoo coming the pony among other animals,
but the pony is the main attraction. So now this
issue is because the original pony got injured and now
they have a backup pony, which we don't even know
if it's going to be a pony or not.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Yeah, is it going to be a mule or a donkey?

Speaker 6 (37:43):
Convinced donkey.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
And then we have nine chickens. We have a chicken
coop at the house. Yeah, but they're bringing various animals
aside from the pony or whatever, including chickens.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
Now, so will the strange chickens.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
Have access to the No, they'll be our second my
wife does and let our chickens out because there are hawks,
and she doesn't hawks to get the chickens, so she
has the poor farmer bringing his chickens.

Speaker 15 (38:08):
So about Jenna's party, I know you guys are worried
about the hawks attacking your chickens. What about the other
chickens that are going to be there? Is there like
a no Hawks fan that day? Because I'm pretty sure
they're going to show up. What I wouldn't give for
Billy to be the reporting as a mule shows up

(38:29):
dressed in a pony costume and an entire family of
hawks just decimating the poor farmer's chickens.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Yeah, hawks are evil. They're all around, so they couldn't
even attack the mule. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:45):
Well, I'll be there to do my best to show
them away.

Speaker 5 (38:49):
I don't think you can show a hawk away.

Speaker 4 (38:51):
We'll get this right. I know we're out of time here.
You know what my wife wants to do. I said
no to this one, but she's going to convince me.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
I know. Okay. You know how you.

Speaker 4 (38:57):
Drive by like Balveline and they have those those blow
up things. Yeah, I love they sell those and you
put them out near the coop so when the chickens
come out, it deters the hawks blow up thing with
all the arms.

Speaker 6 (39:11):
Go for it.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
I'm putting the Valvelene blow up thing in my yard.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Who cares?

Speaker 6 (39:16):
No one can see back there.

Speaker 5 (39:17):
Just turning into a freezing hawk is afraid of one
of those.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
Apparently the movement Really, yeah, that's what my wife says.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
What's next, the bearded lady. I don't know those damn hawks.

Speaker 6 (39:30):
Kids.

Speaker 15 (39:31):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
All right, you guys ready to get out of here? Yes,
oh yeah, I'm sure you are. Lisa's on our way
to Iceland.

Speaker 5 (39:40):
What times your flight Lisa twelve thirty?

Speaker 4 (39:43):
Oh you gotta go. All right, we gotta go. Let's
wrap this thing up. What'd you miss this morning? Well,
you missed the Mega match game. The first play at
eight ten. We did not have a winner, Allison. She
did her best, but she did not match the numbers.

Speaker 8 (39:54):
The first number is all right, it's Benson boone at
the garden.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
That's a that's a big reveal.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Oh yeah yeah, Alison, what's going to be your next pick?

Speaker 7 (40:06):
The next one?

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Gillette?

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (40:11):
Oh, she was so excited when she heard the Benson tickets. Yeah,
she thought she had it, but Yeah, she helped other
people and she can still play. We'll do it again
at twelve ten with McCabe, three ten with the b
Bros And Gianna. A lot of prizes up for grabs. Also,
this morning, we had Catherine Loftus on. She's our attorney expert,
and she broke down the Karen Reid trial and everything
that's happening and the jury questions and all that stuff,

(40:34):
and you know, she's pretty much summed things up.

Speaker 11 (40:35):
It sounds like they have have reached a not guilty
verdict on two of them and then they're hung on
the other. It doesn't mean if they're hung on count
number two, it doesn't mean the whole entire trial is hung.
They can return a verdict four two and be.

Speaker 6 (40:48):
Hung on a third.

Speaker 4 (40:49):
Yeah, a lot of people reading into some of these
questions that the jury had so the deliberating. Right now,
we have the we have the news on.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
We're waiting. Oh, verdicts could come into any moment.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
Yeah, and once we have a verdict, we will have
Catherine back on because we love her.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
She's our expert.

Speaker 15 (41:04):
It's here again. Just call him to say, uh, I
love when we have with us. I'm hoping can we find.

Speaker 7 (41:12):
Another trial to have her with us if we don't
have this one.

Speaker 11 (41:14):
Maybe it's a Diddy trial that could be fun.

Speaker 6 (41:19):
Sandy Burchmore trials local that might be the thing. Which
one Sandy Burgemore, she was a woman in Canton or
stot In that it looked like she committed suicide, but
actually I think a cop killed her. That she was
having an affair with Okay, really yeah, bad story, yeah,
really bad as a child.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
I don't know if I could sit listen to that. Honestly,
I don't know if I could. It's just awful. But yeah,
we love Catherine Loftus very much. Also, we had Chris
