The keyword is going to be fluff. Fluff is the keyword.
The phone number to call six one seven nine three
one one one eight And while we wait for Caller

(00:23):
twenty five, the keyword is fluff. Justin because we had
a brilliant listener who reached out to Lisa. It turns
out we have a correction. You can get fluff outside
of Massachusetts.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
You can't.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
You can.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yeah, this person lives in Beaufort, South Carolina, and she
can buy fluff there.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Okay, so maybe not everywhere some places, Yeah, because I
have heard about that people trying to send or bringing
fluff elsewhere because we can't get it.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Okay, I'd love for the definitive word on fluff. So
let's fluff it.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Up so good. That was a dirty joke, but we'll
just move on there. So the talkbacks are back. They
were broken, Yes, today. So I came. I came in
this morning to a lot of people got talkbacks between
yesterday and today. But yeah, we're back.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Good morning, it's the mayor this.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
You know, the mayor was freaking out.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Well, then as I come to the end of my
talkbacker of the Year reign, I would like to tell
people about a special day. Today is today is national
Say it nowaday? And what is that? Say it now
means tell the important people in your life what they
mean to you. So life is short, and say it

(01:32):
now before it's too late. So say it now and
have a great day.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Okay, say.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
It now. Oh and by the way, go your mother,
Like why does that exist?

Speaker 5 (01:47):
How?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (01:50):
You say crazy?

Speaker 1 (01:51):
That was a doctored thing. You know. That's what he does.
That's why he's respected.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
All over the Wait till Friday morning, the awards, the
End of the Year Awards.

the singing and crazy. Anyway, we're back.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Oh, thank god, this is Kim. You're back.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
I was on well yesterday just wasn't myself. I was
a real cranky witch at work.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
And I do have to admit.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
When I heard this morning so the talkbacks were back,
I arched my back. It was like the scene. I
was like John Hamm in that club scene. And if
I was tech savy, you know, if I would have
done a TikTok seeing the talkbacks are back and then
entered John Ham, it would not enter John Hammn.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yeah that's another dream, dude.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
John Ham is all over my my on social media.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I've got one of those John ham things.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah you do actually dining Playbo posted.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
It yea and then turning into John.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
The scene is from You've probably seen it on Instagram
or TikTok. It's from the neighbors.

Speaker 7 (02:55):
Neighbor.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah, there's like a dream sequence when he's in a
club and they mash it up with the song and
they use it everywhere. I like the song, by the
way I said it. Yeah, that's everywhere. All right, let's
go to caller to call it twenty five online too?
Oh it's Hunter.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Where's Hunter? You got to mind here? He's online too?
A Hunter? Hey?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Every long?

Speaker 5 (03:19):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
You know what's weird? That would be the name I
would like if I could change my name, right, Lisa,
I've always said I want to be called Hunter.

Speaker 8 (03:28):
Well, I've loved the name myself.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, so you were cool because I always think of
Hunters as cool dudes. Are you a cool dude? Hunter?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
I think so?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah, jury might be out. Yeah, would anybody else consider
you cool?

Speaker 8 (03:44):
I hope my wife thinks some cool.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Oh okay, good, so at least somebody out there. Thanks,
you're cool. So Hunter, Uh, your Calle twenty five. You
have the keyword fluff. Fluff as in fluff or nudder.
I guess you can get fluff outside of Massachusetts somewhere
in the country, in supermarkets somewhere. But Hunter, you got
your pay tickets for Edge almost said jingle Ball. I
was so used to saying it for Edge. Heear in

(04:08):
September of next year out at your light Stadium. What's
the grand prize? He qualifies for Lea's.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
I'm ed sign a vinyl backstage at jingle Ball, so
we're gonna throw that into the prize.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
There you go, Hunter, do not hang up. Okay, you'll
talk to producer Riley and congratulations on the tickets. You'll
love a ball out at your let in September, and
good luck on the grand prize.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Amazing.

Speaker 8 (04:28):
Thanks everyone.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, we go, thanks hunter.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Oh and by the way, go your mother Lisa kiss
one awak okay, justin put us to the test. You've
got some headlines.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah, real or fake headlines? That's what this is all about.
I'll read a headline. You tell me whether you think
it's real or fake. You can play along too, if
you're listening, driving to work or at home, wherever you are.
First headline, a woman claims a delivery driver stole her
cat while dropping off a package at her home. Real

(04:59):
or fake.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Oh, A lot of packages are being delivered right now.
I mean a lot of people are out his delivery drivers.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
The cat could have just popped into the van while
he wasn't looking exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Cats tend to do that. So I'm going to say
this is real.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
This is real. I'm in on this.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
You're both saying real, yes, sir?

Speaker 1 (05:18):
All right?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Or on the board.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
An Amazon delivery driver dropped off a package at a
home in California and then took a cat from the
front porch. Actually caught it on camera. They're calling him
the Cat porch Pirate. As the owner, she's not happy,
but I.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
Thought he was just petting her for a second.

Speaker 9 (05:34):
I had to rewatch it a couple of times because
it is hard to see.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
It's dark, and he doesn't carry her very nicely. I
see her little tail, and.

Speaker 10 (05:40):
I'm like, oh my god. I couldn't believe what I
was seeing.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
So he did take the cat.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, he took the cat and put in his little
van there and drove away.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Wow, I stole the cat.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, that's not.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Good, busted. I wonder if it was like a special
What was special about the cat?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Maybe he was just lonely and needed a companion.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
I have an orange cat named Jack's, pretty ram anxious.
Yeah I think they want Jack's. It's a great cat. Yeah,
you know.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Okay, the way.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
This morning, my wife got up drinking her coffee on
the couch. Here comes Jacks to cat mouse in his mouth,
off right in front of her.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
A good boy, his job.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Doing his job, all right? Next up rail or fake headline.
A Christmas tradition in Spain requires a smiling log that
poops out presence. We could ask Hilaria Baldwin, she might
know she spa. This is a tradition tradition in Spain

(06:40):
of a log that poops out presents. Maybe or maybe not.
I could have made this up.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I don't know. The Spaniards are a little crazy. This
is a crazy one. They fight bulls. This is a
crazy one. I'm gonna how's he going to make that up?

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Go to school for journal?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Right, I'm gonna say it's real.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Okay, I'm gonna say it's real too.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Both saying real, yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Right.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
There is a Christmas tradition in Spain called Teo de
Nadal where children sing to a Christmas log and then
beat it with sticks until yes, it poops out presents.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Buddy, why is it named nadal?

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Like, here's an explanation for you.

Speaker 11 (07:27):
Each house gets a theoda and allowed before Christmas. That
comes with a smiley face, a cattle and red bretino
two legs in the front, and a blanket to hide
the present. Kids feed the theo and allowed before Christmas.
This way, on Christmas Eve, ITAs belly will be full
and ready to pop a lot of presents.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
But how do you need to bring that here?

Speaker 11 (07:47):
Like?

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Is there like an assembly belt or something inside the log?
How the house get pooped out?

Speaker 3 (07:52):
How didn't I make that up?

Speaker 5 (07:54):
I hate that?

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Right?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I mean, if there's ever a headline I thought I
would make up, it would be that one exactly, But
it's all right. Next up, Billy, we know you're a
dog lover. Gal's best Palace canna be calling in a
couple of minutes. Ten they need our help stand by
for that. But a missing dog found in another country
working as a guide dog, but with no training.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
I mean a lot of dogs have natural instinct, right,
so it's it's possible this could happen.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Okay, it's real.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
I'm thinking real.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
What about you, Lise, a missing guide dog in another country?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
No, there was a missing dog found in another country
working as a guide dog, but it has no training.
Is that a rail or fake story?

Speaker 2 (08:43):
It's fake?

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Okay, you're going against me.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
No, right now, I'll go with you. Now I'm gonna
say it's real.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
I wouldn't go with me if I were you.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Yeah, at least bad move all the way, fake all
the way.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
First, the instinct was right, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Bill's you know, Bill's a I never know. You know,
he's a mush, but sometimes he gets it right. All right,
one moll before we run out of time. Here, a
woman is being attacked online for purchasing dollar store brands
for a child's angel tree list.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I'm gonna say this is real.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Yeah, it's definitely real. Make real creepy.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
I think it's real.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
It's creepy.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Well, it's the Internet. The Internet is undefeated, especially in
bad things like this. Yes, it is reel. A woman
has been dealing with a ton of backlash Billy because
she bought Angel Tree gifts for poor kids at Dollar Tree.
She said she's been getting a lot of hate online.
She said she got generic colored pencils instead of Crayola,

(09:48):
and people are not happy.

Speaker 12 (09:49):
For the past twenty four hours, I have been relentlessly
harassed from buying off brand colored pencils for an Angel
Tree gift she wanted arts Craft, skincare and McDonald's.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
I purchased what.

Speaker 12 (09:59):
I thought I myself would have enjoyed at her age,
and the Internet felt that I did not spend enough
time or money and has certainly let me know. While
admittedly feeling very discouraged and in the moments very angry
at personal attacks on my character, I have to remember
that the same people who impulsively are ripping me apart
with no awareness of who I am, my intentions, or
the recommended requirements of this donation program, which by the way,

(10:21):
the recommended spending rate was fifty to eighty dollars.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
What do you think about this?

Speaker 2 (10:25):
I think that this woman was doing a really good thing.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
I think that the trolls online are just that they
need it needs to stop.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Well, especially because you know, we don't know that woman's situation. Yeah,
maybe she had a tough year, maybe she lost her job.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Right, she was trying to do a good thing, and
you don't judge get a package together.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Yeah. Yeah. By the way, last year I bought some
Abilli's gifts at the Dollar Tase Billy and.

Speaker 13 (10:50):
Lisa now the Entertainment Update with a Billy constat on
Kiss one Away.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
So we just played Mariah's Christmas song right lately? How
about this? I was listening yesterday to something. That song
is number two in the world. Ask me what the
number one song in the world is.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
What's the number one song?

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Wham last Christmas?

Speaker 2 (11:10):
My favorite?

Speaker 1 (11:10):
It's out Mariah.

Speaker 14 (11:11):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
No, I'm happy because that's my favorite song.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah. Anyways, Sabrina Carpenter was at our jingle Ball a
couple of years ago. She went on with Seth Meyers
last night and they did that drinking segment. They played
the game Spill the Tea, where they either answer each
other's questions or they have to take a drink.

Speaker 15 (11:30):
We don't know each other super well, so for this
next segment, spill the tea. We're gonna ask each other
personal questions that neither you or I have seen, and
we can either answer truthfully or take a huge sip
from this Long Island iced tea, and we each have
our own whoa Straws? Who did you write the song

(11:51):
Manchild about? Either answer or take a sip? Not no hesitation?

Speaker 16 (11:57):
Okay, great Straws, but it's really good oat.

Speaker 11 (12:02):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (12:03):
I hosted SNL for the first time this season.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
What was my worst sketch?

Speaker 15 (12:08):
You know, I have an answer, but I have a
lot of respects that people put that show together.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Oh that's so nice.

Speaker 15 (12:15):
I know I'm not a one and I know I'm
not a ten.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
What am I seven? Sure you want to go? By
the way? She was amazing on Saturday Night Live. She
was the guest host and the musical guest. She was phenomenal.
Justin Bieber back on the live stream last night, covering
all kinds of music including Shaggy. Oh this time, I

(12:42):
gotta tell you Justin Bieber has had his ups and downs, right,
I think he's having the time of his life right now.
I think so too, with these live streams and this
special room, this space, this giant warehouse he's set up
with ball pits and everything else.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
I mean I would too. Have you seen this thing?

Speaker 14 (12:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Everything from a baby's crib to a skate park, to
a putting green to a ball pit.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I can't wait to see what his Coachella performance is
going to be like. By the way, it's Sabrina Carpenter's
co Hostingella with him.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
He seems to be really enjoying music and the process
of making music again, which is used to say, because
that's what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
I'll watch with him. Yeah, that's a cool part. Yeah,
you can watch the stream he's taking us inside, which,
by the way.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
I think we're the only show that's covering the stream
every day.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Definitely.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Well he needs to give us a shout out.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Yeah, just announced christinag.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
To do the eminem. Huh, you're not going to do
the eminem.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Well you told me, okay, we're going in late. I
know were Okay, he also did eminem. Let's go there
to search a bid babies say he's been with a
windows up.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
Do you have the video of that justin Yeah, you
can watch it.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I want to see it the stream when I come
back in studio. Just announced, Christina Aguilera will have a
Christmas special on CBS celebrating the twenty five year anniversary
offer a Christmas album and that's airing by the way,
this coming night on CBS. Olivia rod Rigo says she
was a huge One Direction fan when she was very young.

(14:07):
Actually used to write fan fiction on One Direction and
then one day actually met Harry Stiles.

Speaker 17 (14:13):
We like got tea and we like walked around and
I got home and I was like, I feel like
I like wrote that in a fan fiction and I
like lived it, Like that is so crazy how that
can happen in your life.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
And he's so sweet and tipically. Shalla May finally opening
up about why he missed the met Gala last year
with Kylie Jenner. It was a guess all about the Knicks.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Well, I had to be locked in, man.

Speaker 16 (14:38):
I mean that that Knicks run last year was the
most fun, uh, not just being a fac I think
that was the most fun period of my life. Yeah,
was four months I mean, I'm not even kidding, like
that was just the garden being electric.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Yeah, he's a huge Knicks fan. He was at most
of the playoff games in the row pretty much everyone does.

Speaker 18 (14:55):
Anybody else love the fact that Billy has to say
Timothy Chalomy like I'm Saandler. It's the highlight of his
entertainment report for me every day, Like every time he
brings up chall ma, come on justin you.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Know you've got it in there.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Well, he didn't do it this time because he's feeling
rushed because we're late, but he does it. He did
it last time, Timothy.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
The first trailer for the much anticipated Spielberg new UFO
movie is out. It's called Disclosure Day, and we've got
a clip. Good morning, Kansas City, Let's take a look
at today.

Speaker 15 (15:34):
Let's today is Today's.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
What are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Full disclosure to the whole world.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
So my wife's always complaining abody about my eating that
it's loud and obnoxious because I might chew my mouth
open when you're paying attention. I would imagine it sounds
like that, right, at least that's how she hears it.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
It comes out June twelfth, whoa Emily Blunt does it.
She plays the weather girl.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
It looks like all right, Spielberg, isn't there?

Speaker 3 (16:31):
That sounds like the Seinfeld theme.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
And finally, justin, I'm gonna squeeze this in. I know
you've got me on a clock, but rip this morning
to Carl Carlton, who gave us this classic bad Mamma Jama.
Carlton is gone, rest in peace, and we're brought to
you by Wilson Farm. Listen. Wilson Farm in Lexington is

(17:01):

and easy. Go to Wilson Farm in Lexington, do it today,
or just go online Wilsonfarm dot com and there you go.
Timothy Chalonay from the Planet.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Fitness Kiss one Await Studios, We're back with a Billy
and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
One of the cool things about the Billy and Lisa
the Morning Show is I think our listeners, for the
most part, they all know pretty much everything about us.
I mean, they know our children's names, they know where
we live, they know our pets' names, and so they
must know that I'm very committed, My wife and I
very committed to dog fostering and rescuing. Our dog, Titus
is a rescue. Our previous dog, Bessie, was a rescue,

(17:52):
and we got Titus thanks to a place called Gal's
Best Pal. And Felicia's on the phone right now. Good morning, Felicia,
Good morning.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
How are you.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
I'm fine for starters, Michelle and I. Oh, you guys
are life. I mean, every time I look in Titus's
beautiful face, I'm thinking imagine Titus was very close to
being put down when you folks found him for us.

Speaker 5 (18:17):
Yeah, and he's just an incredible dog. It's so sad,
and there's so many like him that unfortunately you end up,
you know, losing their lives and not getting the chance
to live the life that Titus Scott. And it had
a lot to do with the look of Titus. And
some may not know he's a pity mix or a pitbull. Yeah,

(18:37):
and we appreciate you guys for taking a chance. Right now,
more than ever, we need people like you willing to
bring bully breeds into their homes.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Well, that's the main reason I wanted to talk to
you this morning, Felicia, because a lot of us don't realize,
even I, that the holidays could be the toughest time
of the year when it comes to rescuing animals, right,
it really is.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
It's been such a slow month because of the holidays
and everybody's traveling. We actually just had to cut our
transport in half. We had to leave behind about fourteen dogs,
which means that fourteen more dogs can't get pulled from
the shelter because there's no spot in their southern foster
homes because we didn't take them up here this round.
We just simply aren't moving dogs we really needed opters.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
I got to tell you a story. I walked into
the house the other day, and I'm not exaggerating. My wife,
Michelle was hysterically crying and I'm like, oh my God,
what happened. And it turns out she had seen a
post on Instagram for you guys, because we both followed
Gal's best pal, and she got the news that, you know,
so many dogs can't be fostered or rescued, or especially

(19:45):
fostered this time of year because a lot of people
go away for the holidays, So you currently have a
batch of dogs that could very well be put down
because of the holidays.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
Absolutely, and you know, once we make a commitment to
a dog, we're here to see it through. We'll make
something work, whether that's myself having five dogs in my
house or you know, we do two days here, two
days there with different fosters willing to do what they can.
But our our team is able to help more of
these dogs that are on the us AN Angel list

(20:22):
if we can move the dogs that we currently are
committed to and have. So you know, there's a lot
of dogs just today that will be on the us
AN AGEA list and might not make it out because
of that.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Felicia, you have to know that within seconds of seeing
your post on Instagram, my wife Michelle basically informed me
that we're fostering a dog.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
I did hear. I may or may not have been
part of that plan.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
So Titus is going to have a pal an.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
We'll check out somebody great for you.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
But I'm sure Michelle I was probably talked to you
in detail, but in terms of people listening who have
thought about in the past fostering a dog because they
could do it for a couple of weeks or even
a month, right and then decide for themselves if it
works for the family for sure.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
So I mean any dog that anybody is interested in.
We do do a two week adoption trial where you
have two weeks even if you think you want to
adopt the dog, you have two weeks to make sure
that it's a good fit for your home and your family.
We never want you, guys to have to be, you know,
trying to make something work that's just simply not working.
Albeit you've got to give these dogs time. They've been

(21:34):
through a lot. But we'll take any amount of help
that we can, you know, whether it be a foster's
going on vacations for the weekend, we need a two
day foster, you know, any amount of time also a
big thing. If you can't foster, we are always looking
for people that can give rides to the dogs in
our foster programs to that appointment and to training and grooming,

(21:57):
because a lot of our fosters work and they have
a lot of responsibilities, so driving the dog, you know,
to a different town isn't always feasible.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
So there's a process that people need to follow, and
what is that process.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
So if you go to our website gals ga LS,
best pal dot com, we've got three different areas of
the website depending on where people are entrusted. The adoption
section you can put in an application to adopt, and
like I mentioned, the adoption trial kind of falls under
that roof. Then we've got our foster hub where you

(22:34):
can apply to foster if you live in Massachusetts. And
then the volunteer area would be where anybody that can't
foster but has time to whether it's give a dog
a ride or come and help us at our small
facility in Amesbury. We're always looking for volunteers, so there's
a way to help in any way. And the last

(22:54):
way to help is sharing our posts online. Networking is huge,
so if anybody's listening that might not be able to
help in one of those three ways, just give us
a share of a post and it means the world.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
And by the way, the holidays could be a good
time of the year for somebody who does not have
a pet to kind of foster one and get a
feel for it, you know.

Speaker 11 (23:14):
What I mean.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Absolutely, it's one of the most heartwarming moments to see
a dog just kind of get comfortable in your home
that might have never had that.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
And to think, if you foster a dog for a
couple of weeks, you may actually be saving that dog's life.

Speaker 5 (23:29):
And another yeah, a dog that it opens up a
space for in Texas.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Okay, So, Felicia, one more time, where do people go?
I know a lot of people are listening. Let's get
some people fostering dogs.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
So galsvestpal dot com. You can go to either the adoption,
foster or volunteer section and then follow us on Instagram
at galsvest pal. There's tons of opportunities on there, tons
of posts and fun videos to share. Just give us
a follow and help us save these dogs.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
And what you point out, a lot of these dogs
are already great, trained and everything.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
Oh yeah, you know we have our dogs aren't asking
for much, They're just asking for a little bit of love.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
All right, Felicia, thank you so much. And I hope
we get a lot of dogs though, so too.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
And plus you know a lot of people have time
offer on the holidays, yes, and they're going to be.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Home, and so are their children. They're grown child.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
It's the perfect opportunity to say you'll have help, you'll
have time.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Felicia, best of luck, and thank you so much, and
thank you for Titus.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
Thank you. Well.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Oh they're doing the Lord's work.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
I always get emotional when I talk about dogs.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
I'm sorry, that's all right, but yeah, thank you, Felicia, Felicia.

Speaker 18 (24:35):
I love Billy and Lisa kiss.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
So justin the talkbacks were shut down yesterday, but we
got them back today.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Yeah, finally we had no talkbacks yesterday. The system was down.
Thank god, it's back up. But people were very concerned
and it kind of affected their day, which means a
lot to us.

Speaker 7 (24:52):
You know, I'm coming to the talk Bark Mike uh
nine to fifty pm because I was just listening to
like a different podcast.

Speaker 17 (25:01):
And it's like only on like Spotify, Apple Music not iHeart, and.

Speaker 7 (25:07):
Like, I just wish that every podcast had a talkback
feature because I just have so many comments on this
podcast and I just had to come and say that
I love.

Speaker 14 (25:18):
This talk feature.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Oh thank you there.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
You got to admit, right, when you're listening to something,
if you're listening live to a podcast, you can boom
hit a button and send a message that comes right
to us. Yeah, it's really cool. Yeah, we really like it.
It's really a special thing.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Good morning, everybody.

Speaker 8 (25:37):
It's Lucy.

Speaker 19 (25:37):
I'm on my way to the gym.

Speaker 14 (25:39):
I hope you all have a great day.

Speaker 19 (25:41):
Just checking in because I've got a crazy day ahead
of me. Still want you to know it's an honor
to be nominated for Talkbacker of the Year. Still need
to finish up my Billy in the Morning show swag.

Speaker 10 (25:54):
So have a great day.

Speaker 13 (25:55):
Love you guys.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Now you just hit a button and you're part of
the show.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
Yeah, and by the way, that's gonna happened Friday at
nine ten, we will award the Talkbacker of the Year.
A lot of people vying for that, but they can
only be one winner. Okay, but we'll recognize all tach
talkbackers from the year twenty twenty five.

Speaker 14 (26:12):
So I'm listening this morning, and I really need to
hear Lisa's rant. My regular anxiety turned to my Christmas
anxiety at about one am this morning, and I've been
up since then and I'm on my way to work.
So that would be really much appreciated.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
Well, it's a holiday classic, it is. Yeah, you have
to be at this place, just place, this place, this place.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
Gain me.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
We never got the items place, this place, this place,
this place, dog.

Speaker 14 (26:37):
Gain in me.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
That doesn't sum up Christmas. I don't know what does.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
It just hits home with everybody it started.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
It really does. On my Instagram, my algorithm is a
lot of these rails of you know, what the dad's
going to look like when the kids opened the presence,
when they didn't buy any of the presents, they're just
as shocked as everybody.

Speaker 14 (26:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
Yet, And that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
It's like, it's the mom's list, right, Yeah, you do everything. Yes,
I'm decorating to like planning the meal, to all the
gift giving and gift buying.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
I think Michelle Pfeiffer just did a Christmas movie about
just that.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Yeah, And you know, and you gotta like the dads
have to act all surprised, like, oh wow, wow, that's
really cool.

Speaker 11 (27:17):
You know.

Speaker 13 (27:18):
Morning morning crew. This is totally unrelated to anything you've
been talking about this morning. But I noticed this weekend
Billy was rocking some amazing winter boots. They were like
brown with a little pop of orange, and I loved
them and still need to get a gift for my husband. So, Billy,
where are your boots from?

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Gotta go on the UGG website. Those are a couple
of years old now they still are you. Oh that's right.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
And the boot I'm wearing or was wearing, has an
orange soule, but they also have the same boat with
a beige sole.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Yes, they do stand out, I will say that.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
And they're so cool. Yeah, it's a good look, really warm.
Oh yeah, cozy. Okay, so uh they're ugs, they're ug boots.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Yep, Okay, that's good.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Happy hump Day, amazing morning crew. This is just Gabby
calling to ask.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
A question about gifts for Yankee swaps.

Speaker 14 (28:12):
What is the craziest, funniest gift you guys have gotten
or seen as a Yankee swap?

Speaker 17 (28:19):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (28:19):
Yeah, we talked about this the other day. We did
what's the craziest thing I've gotten? I got the squatty
body And that's a good gift. Yep, you haven't used it,
which is a shame, but that's a good gift. Yeah,
that's a good one.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
It's embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
Well, what's happened to me is I've gotten like female
gifts in the Yankee swap. I end up with a
you know, a chick thing. Yeah, you know, what am
I gonna do with that? Just give it to my wife.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Yeah, exactly, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
That's it. So thank you everybody who reaches out in talkbacks.
We appreciate it. Like that first talkbacker said, you can
always hit us up twenty four hours a day. You
can respond to what we're saying. Billy, you know what
I mean. Sometimes we can respond back.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
The Kendon microphone. No one ever knows when he's talking
into the candid microphone. And I wish I could answer
talkbacks with my own talkback. Hey, I tell you what,
why don't you go and penetrate yourself for the working
hot rod? Why don't you complete that mission? Be the
only excitement you've ever had in your life. The hen

(29:21):
did microphone, Happy holidays, all the good things happy Ken.
I never said that.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Okay, it's your voice.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Actually you did, kids run Away.

Speaker 13 (29:31):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
You know a lot of people traveling this holiday season.
Lisa had a list earlier this on the show of
things you can't bring through the tsay, which led to
our topic time of things that were taken, you know,
confiscated at the airports.

Speaker 8 (29:47):
I was waiting in the security line and I usually
travel with some you know, gummies in a little bag
of eminem so they mix in and you can't tell
what they are, and in usually works all the time.
This time I see the dog sniffing people, so I
had to eat three of them that were in my bag.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
That's awesome.

Speaker 8 (30:10):
And I saw people dancing on the wings of the
plane the whole ride.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah as a kite.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
I never did the gummies thing. I just hear stories.
You know, if you take too much.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Yeah, to me, I just never know what's in it
or what you're taking.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
I think a little bit goes a long way and
you build up a tolerance. But you know, you eat
a couple of the little gummies, you think it's gonna
be okay, that's not No, not so much.

Speaker 9 (30:38):
Good morning. I just wanted to tell you. This summer,
I went to visit some family out in Arizona that
were formerly from mass and the one thing that they
love and they can't get out in Arizona is Chinese sausage.
I brought an entire carry on bag full of frozen
Chinese sausage out to Arizona. They I packed it in
dry ice as long as it's completely frozen. They don't care,

(31:00):
but that's what I brought and they were very happy.
On the other ends, is that that.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Bright red sausage?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Yeah, well it's a solid, so I could see why
they probably wouldn't have a problem with.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Yeah. I don't mind the Chinese sausage. It's not my favorite.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Now.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
I like the Fenway sausages whatever that. Ye oh that's
the best sausage guy.

Speaker 14 (31:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (31:19):
I just got to stopped last week coming through TSA
because I bought B and M beans up at market
Basket and they stopped being from my chest beans.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Wait, what did she bring B and M beans?

Speaker 3 (31:28):
Weren't they beans?

Speaker 10 (31:30):
Yeah, point and examine them and gave them back to me.
And yes, they do sell fluff down here. You can
get it public cell, Walmart.

Speaker 19 (31:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Publics are everywhere in Florida. Every block there's a public's market. Yeah,
that market.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
But I also mistakenly said it was made in Somerville.
It's made in Lynn.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yeah. I don't know where you got your fluff information.

Speaker 11 (31:49):
No, I was.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Confusing it with the fluff festival they have every year, yes,
summer Summerville. Yeah, and they also brew a vodka that
I used to drink when I used to called Caldwells.
It's oh yeah, this vodka you can buy Ford. It's
like four dollars for a quart of the most. You know,
it's the vodka they have in the well at a bar. Probably,
so if you don't say a specific vodka, they pour

(32:12):
called Well in your.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Drinking brood and Summer will says it right the bottle. Yeah,
good morning guys, especially Billy.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Listen, Billy, you're just lucky that I don't work for
Tea at day because I would never let.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
You through without a heavy, heavy back down. And we
will see you in the morning. By now,
