Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
It's just a great start to my day on Kids Runaway. Okay, guys,
welcome in. It's the Big Friday Show. I always say
it's the Big Friday Show. But trust me when I
tell you, this is the Big Friday Show. But we're
going to start. We get some wacky weather today, Lisa.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yeah, it's very windy, lots of rain, but it will
clear out quickly.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
But temps like near sixty degrees.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, it's going to be warm, but they're saying the
winds that could gust it like sixty miles an hour,
damaging winds.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Wind huh.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Yeah, Yeah, you gotta tie things down. That lawn furniture
is still out there for some crazy reason. You gotta
tie things down. And if you're a boater, you got
to batten down the hatchet.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
But all of those like inflatable santas that are on
everyone's lawns, I'm worried.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I'm worried about the inflatables.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Yeah, my neighbor has a whole yard full. Yeah, I'm
probably about thirty right across the street from me. This
does all the holidays. I've never met him, of course.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
But he has a giant blow up Santa. But then
he has a really cool thing. He has a giant
blow up helicopter with Santa in it, and then a
bunch of other alves and anything running around. But they're
all giant and they're all lit up airborne. Oh yeah,
that's a good point. Least, you gotta deflate these things

(01:24):
at least day and night.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah, poor Santa.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Imagine if you see them flying through the air going
down the street. Oh it's Santa kid.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Christmas is arriving earlier.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Exactly. Yeah. So we've got all that going on. And
by the way, if you are a boater again, you
want to batten down the hatch and secure the lines
and make sure you put it all on the ship's log.
I just thank look for any reason to say in
the ship's log. You never really put anything in the

(01:59):
ship's log anymore. But anyway, it's a big Friday show
because this morning we've got the end of year Billion
Lisa Show Awards. Now justin what's that all about?

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Yeah, we do it every single year, So I'm gonna
hand out awards to all of us. And it's basically
different categories of things that happened during the year, such
as the best mess ups, the best singing, the dirtiest,
the grossest, and the new category that was started last year,
the WTF Award.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Oh what's that award?

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Like?

Speaker 4 (02:28):
What the f are you saying?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (02:31):
You won last year?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Oh shades of madness?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Yes, so eight fifteen ish that will happen.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Oh, that's going to be fun.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
That is going to be fun.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
It's just reliving the year, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
And on the billion Lisa Morning Show, we have the
equivalent I think of the Grammys Album of the Year
because we're giving away the Talkbacker of the Year Award.
And this has been a tough decision, it really has.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Oh hey, happy Friday, it's the Mayor of the Cell.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Then I just want to wish you all a wonderful vacation.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
You guys deserve it.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
You guys are fabulous. And it's Talkbacker the Year day
today and I say to all the talkbackers in contention, You'll.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Never be as good as me. I'm only kidding.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I'm such a pitch. Happy Holidays, everybody.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah. The Mayor of the South End is kind of
like the Miss Universe who shows up to hand over
the Crown.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Yeah, we'll recognize the mayor, don't worry and his contribution
to this show.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
But happy Friday morning, crew. It's Lucy, it's early. I'm up,
I'm out the door. I'm on my way to the gym.
Cannot wait to listen to the show this morning. Just
wanted to say Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and I
love you Talkbacker of the Year nominee right here, have
a great day.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I got to tell you something. The talkbacker thing on
the Billy and Lisa Morning Show has created its own community.
It's been a really cool addition to the show. Don't
you agree.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
I totally agree.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
All of our listeners are so funny and so creative,
and we love having them as a part of the show.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
It's almost like they're in the studio with us, and
you know, it's just a big group having discussions and
we pop them in and out. And I love the
talkback part of the show.

Speaker 7 (04:15):
Justin my boy, Captain Mikeia making my case once again
for the Talkbacker of the Year. It can be in
the studio anytime tomorrow morning man.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Like I said, look, there can only be one winner.
We'll recognize all the top talkbackers. There'll be one winner
Talkbacker of the Year. Please don't get upset.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
What time were do we Talkbacker of the Year?

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Nine and ten?

Speaker 8 (04:37):
All right from the Planet Fitness Kiss One Away Studios,
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Hey guys, Happy Friday. We have a lot going on
in the Billion and Lisa Morning Show this morning. We've
got some wacky weather, wacky wind and rain coming in today.
There's that. We have the end of year awards coming
up in the show this morning. We'll get a name
our Talkbacker of the Year this morning. It's the Big
Friday show. Lease and we have ed sharing tickets, I know.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
I also want to mention there's a lot of wacky
stuff going on traffic wise. There's a jackknife tractor trailer
truck inside the O'Neil Tunnel southbound, so all the lanes
are shut down, so everything's being diverted onto exit sixteen
a while they deal with that, so then it's backing
up on ninety three in Medford right now, so it's
well over an hour and a half to lay.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
That is always my biggest fear in the tunnel if
a truck jackknifs Where are you going?

Speaker 4 (05:30):
You were talking about this yesterday.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well you know what, You're not going
anywhere because oh my joyay goodbye.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Well, the good news is they've got plenty of time
to listen to the billion lease some morning show. And
by the way, feel free to call in or send
us a talk back.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Hey, it's good for us, bad for you, good for us.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
You're just sitting there, Come on the show. It's the
big Friday show. We have to talk about the big
story in the real world this morning. That manhunt for
the shooter on the Brown University campus. Also the person
who's shot in killed the MIT professor. The manhunt is over.
In case you're just waking up, he was tracked down
in Salem, New Hampshire last night at a storage facility

(06:10):
and found dead, apparently of a self inflicted gunshot wounds.

Speaker 9 (06:14):
Suspect was found dead tonight. Our work is not done.
There are many questions that need to be answered. There's
a lot of evidence that needs to be processed. The
FBI and our partners across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New
Hampshire will continue to search for answers.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Now, the whole story took a weird twist late yesterday,
the person whose picture they were posting yesterday calling him
a second person of interest, was actually the one who
led police to the shooter. It was a Reddit post
telling officials you need to take a look at this guy.

Speaker 10 (06:51):
That person led us to the car, which led us
to the name, which led us to the photographs of
that individual renting the car, which matched the clothing of
our shooter here in Providence that matched the satchel.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeahs think that guy's fifty thousand dollars Richardson.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Well, he definitely needs to get the fifty thousand dollars.
He's the one who connected the dots.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
And it's so funny because you and I were sitting
in the office looking at the pictures of this second
guy saying, Oh, I guess they're working together. Oh oh no,
that wasn't the case.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
No, he knew something was suspicious, and he posted on
Reddit that I saw this guy.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
He was acting suspicious.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
He was in the area look for this car, and
that's how they found him.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yep, he saw something and he said something right hey, yes,
And a.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Lot of people were speculating, well, wait a minute, could
there be a connection to the killing of the MIT professor,
and there is apparently there is.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
They went to school together in Portugal early on, and
the MIT professor was a physics professor, and this guy,
Claudia was also a physics major at Brown back in
two thousand.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
The Brown presidents as most of his classes when he
went to Brown were at that building where the shootings
took place. Do we have that clip?

Speaker 11 (08:07):
Justin the majority of physics classes at Brown have always
been held within the Barrison Holly classrooms and lamps. Now,
detailed records indicating where specific courses were held don't extend
back to two thousand and one, but we can say
that physics classes typically require access to specialized equipment.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
So I think it's safe.

Speaker 11 (08:31):
To assume that this man, when he was a student,
spent a great deal of time in that building.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yes, so it turns out there was still a thread
out there because this guy was bouncing around.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
And he was changing his license plate on the car
from Florida to wherever. But the thing that has not
been explained to us yet is why, Yeah, he had
a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
What's that connection?

Speaker 1 (08:59):
But well documented on the show Lease Your Son Max,
Your boy Max goes to Brown University. So fresh parents
like yourself and families like yours must be breathing a
big sigh.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Of really, we absolutely are.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
We were given a lot of information yesterday from the school.
They kept everyone informed about the new details, so that
was great. And yeah, the kids are are relieved that
they finally know who did it. But six out of
the nine kids that are still in the hospital are

(09:31):
now stable.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
That's very good news this morning because one was critical.
That person may still be critical to some degree, but
a lot of them are improving.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
We have been released out of the nine, so six
are stable. Yeah, so that's good news.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
So in some way, like I said yourself, your family
definitely relieved this morning that the shooter is no longer
on the loose and apparently killed themselves in a storage facility.
And justin both you and producer Riley live in Salem,
New Hampshire, and this was a wild scene right over
your heads.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
Absolutely, there were helicopters for about an hour above my house.
Felt like Ray Liota and Goodfellas. Yeah, we know what
it was. And then my phone started blowing up and
shout out to the BILLI and Lisa Show Nation that
were dming me saying, you know it's in he's in Salem.
They're in Salem. So then I jumped on all the
Facebook groups and the live streams and it was right

(10:27):
down from my house, actually closer to producer Riley's house,
that storage unit. I drive by it every single day,
including this morning where police were still there.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
But again, why the story.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
I don't know what they need to tell us and
what's the motive? Those are the two things that are
still out there that we need to know.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
And the rental car is what they tracked down thanks
to the Reddit post. They said this car looked suspicious,
this guy looked suspicious, and that they were able to
track down. They got photos of the guy getting the
rented car at the rental car place and he didn't
have a mask on, so it was a clear shot.
The first clear pictures of this guy.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
He looks a little creepy if I'm just being honest.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Yeah, but what is the motive?

Speaker 4 (11:08):
That'll come out? But you know, they had the place
surrounded for a couple of hours, the FBI agents, the
Providence police.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
His last residence was in Miami, Florida.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
No boy, Yeah, but it's over and again, I don't
know the families of the two kids, two young children
going to Brown University killed, and all these others still
trying to recover in a hospital, and the family of
the MIT professor, well.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Their elves are forever changed, all of them as a group.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
As actually every student class.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
As a Brown student. Yeah, forever changed.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
So the only thing missing right now is the motive.
And hopefully at some point, sometimes soon, we'll find out
the motive. But that's the very latest on the shooter.
If you're just waking up.

Speaker 8 (11:56):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one of eight studios, we're
back with a Billy and Lisa in the morning, and it's.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
The Big Friday Show. Don't forget. Yeah, we've got ed
cheering tickets. In fact, we've got a pair right now
for call it twenty five six, seven, nine three one
uh one one eight. I'll need a keyword, and the
keyword this time around is going to be video. Video
is the keyword. Let's go Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 8 (12:22):
Now the entertainment update with a Billy Cobstap on Kisway.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
And you might ask, hey, why is the video of
the keyword, Well, because there's a beautiful video right at
least it's out right now from jingle Ball here in
Boston last Sunday night.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Yeah, it's a nice compilation.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Whoever did it in our marketing department is like very
good at their job.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
But yeah, check it out.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
It's on our instagram, kiss Wantawait's Instagram. Yeah, and it
shows all the fans and all the performers and backstage
and all of us.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
So yeah, well done.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yeah. Yeah, whoever edited shot and put that video together,
I want to meet that person and I want to
high them for something I haven't figured out yet what.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
But they edited meet me out of the video. But
that's Oh, you're not in it at all. I didn't
make the cut. It's okay, Oh my god. It's a
good video though. Whoever did that?

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Yeah, it's seamless. But they could have used the one
of the three of us on stage.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
No, they cut me out. It would have been nice. Yeah,
they just would have been nice. Well, we're only in
it for a flash second. I'm not even on the
shot of the show shot. Yeah, ed me out of
that too.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
Actually, when you see us, it's not even completely us
right least, it's like it's a section of our torso
or so it's a millisecond. It's not about us, it
really isn't.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
It's about the show and the listen artists, the music.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, listen Big night tomorrow night. On Saturday Night Live,
Ariana Grande is the guest host. Share is the musical
guest and the promos dropped yesterday.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
I'm Ariana Grande and I'll be hosting SNL this week
with Share.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
I'm so happy to have you here and I'm so
happy to be back and Share. Am I dreaming? Snap
out of it? Share? And there's also this one.

Speaker 5 (14:04):

Speaker 3 (14:04):
I'm Ariana Grande and I'll be hosting SNL this week
with Share.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
I got you both gifts. We got a gift from Share.
What is it? My presence? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (14:18):
You know who's happy? Is the Mayor of the South
ends his dream?

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Oh yeah?

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Share.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
On Saturday Night Live, Oh my god. Meantime, Ariana went
on Seth Meyers last night. She says her mom went
crazy collecting all kinds of merge from the Wicked movies.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Well, first of all, my mom has everything.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Oh god, well my mom be like deeply in dat
if she has everything?

Speaker 12 (14:41):
No, no, no, she really she went a little too hard,
and I was like mom, it's okay.

Speaker 13 (14:45):
Universal they're going to send it.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
It's okay.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
And she'd be like no, no, no, no no, I need
like thirty and I was like, okay, perfect.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
And she says her favorite Christmas tradition is Italian cookies.
She makes zeppela.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
I don't know if you know it z like zeppel
these people call them.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
I don't know we call it.

Speaker 12 (15:03):
And my my knowna just passed in June and that
was like our favorite thing to do is make the
zapels with her. My mission this year is to come
up with a plant based zapela.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Oh wow, yes, she would not like that.

Speaker 13 (15:13):
What is.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Actually said? Okay if I don't have the plant based zeppela.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
I didn't know what it was. And then I looked
up a picture. Oh yeah I had them.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yeah they're very powdery if I recall them.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Yeah, cookies.

Speaker 14 (15:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
So Ariana Grande and share tomorrow night on Saturday Night Live.
So many things to watch this weekend. Uh The Leonard
The Leonardo movie One Battle after Another, which you saw
in theaters.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Lace very good, highly recommend seeing it.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
It drops on HBO Max. I have that you pay
for that? Yes, you don't need to borrow.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
I do not need to piggyback on your HBO Max.
Two new episodes of Taylor Swift's docu series dropped today.
The final two episodes have been moved up by the
way to December twenty third now. They announced that yesterday,
But the two episodes that are out today, we actually
have a tease.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
On one episode three and four. At the end of
an era.

Speaker 14 (16:10):
I've never had an alternate outfit for the reputation section
mount once.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Those quick changes are like nothing you've ever seen before.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
One time I trip over the hem of my dress,
skid the palm of my hand off.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Turn wasn't late. Miss sale Sea brings a lot of
happiness to a lot of fans. I can safely say
that was allowed to say. I've forgotten on the Aras tour.
You guys know Sacreena Carpenters.

Speaker 14 (16:39):
I'm gonna get past a phone and I'll write your name.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Okay, I guess Taylor win to Travis's re Union or
something this past week. Don't forget the Pats and the Ravens,
the Sunday night football game this weekend. That's a mussy.
A couple of big movies dropping this weekend the New
Avatar movie and Sidney Sweeney's movie The Housemaid. Those open
in theaters today. And the Jonas Brothers took the tour

(17:10):
to beautiful Manchester, New Hampshire last night and they brought
out I don't know where they found her, but they
brought out Vanessa Carlton for one thousand miles. Okay. I
was so proud of my my buddy Kevin Jonas because
he took the stage by himself and did his solo

(17:31):
song changing, that's my guy.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Yep, he's putting himself out there.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
Been a big fan for many years.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
He walked right out center stage, front stage and banged
it out.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
He took your advice.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Now you know what I did. I called him, I said,
Kevin busted.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Plug that guitar back in right, busy bussy.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
I actually brought them the chord that he could plug
in with, because nobody else will give him the cord.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
He in the guitar. By the way, it's a ton
of video on the his instagram of the Jonas brother
Oh yeah, you want to indulge.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Justin Bieber back on the live stream yesterday doing Mistletoe
is just so cool. It's so good.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
He and Haley took a lesson in how to make sushi.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
They did, and they posted all these pictures.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
And why was he shirtless for the cooking segment? Sagging down?
I don't get that. Like and again, I love Bieber.
I think he's the most creative guy on the planet.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Well, he does have all of those tattoos, so you
gotta show him off.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Yeah, yeah, maybe it's an arrangement he has with the
tattoo artist and whenever he appears somewhere and has to
be shirtless, he gets the tattoos for free if he
shows them enough.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
He's got the neck tattoo going to Yeah, going on there, gangster, Yeah,
buss it bussy.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Hey. The kiss cam woman caught on a giant screen
at the cold Play show and Chilette is breaking her silence.
She released a long statement yesterday leaves she did.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
She claims that she had a crush on her boss
and that she had had too much to drink that
night and that that's when they kissed and that was it.
She has a problem with Gwyneth Paltrow and what Gwyneth
Paltrow did with the astronomer thing.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Oh yeah, and she said she's been getting death threats
since for her family, her children.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Oh, it was very bad, very very very bad. But
that's the Internet.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
And in the statement she said to her children, it's okay,
you're going to make mistakes in your life. It's okay.
Everybody makes mistakes.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
I just love how she said she had a couple
of high noons. Yeah, that's toot. That'll get you every
time your Restaura right over.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Yeah, Jelly Roll just got a full pardon from the
state of Tennessee. A while back. He was arrested, you
remember for a robbery and drugs. Well, he's got the
recovery going on. He's lost one homus now.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
He's been in jail since twenty sixteen, his life around.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
But the full pardon has a lot of meaning to him,
and he talked about it with Joe Rogan just last week.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
I am up for pardon this year.

Speaker 15 (20:08):
My paperwork has been sent into my governor and he
considers pardons in every December.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
So every day I'm just kind of praying, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 15 (20:17):
But even if he gives me the pardon, unfortunately Tennessee
has a zero forgiveness policy for violent offenders. What I'd
have to do is and this is My hope is
that My goal in this is that I want to
reach out to legislation eventually and go, hey, like, if
nothing else, I'd like my runt, my right to hunt,
like it's done a lot for my mental health.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
Wow. Yeah, he wants to hunt. That's he can't. He
can't legally have a weapon, right, He's a convicted felon,
even with the pardon.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
And I think it affects his international travel too.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, but he did work around it, I believe. But yeah,
it follows you for life. I mean I can't. I
can't buy a gun. Oh no, never, no, never, And
that's probably best. Maybe a crossbow. But yeah, anyway, good
news for jelly Roll. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
How much is he lost? How much?

Speaker 4 (21:05):
To over two hundred pounds? Wow? What a jury?

Speaker 1 (21:09):
And by the way, he does it on his own.
He does it the old fashioned way. And he's not

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
This Sunday, I'm going to see the mentalist Os Pearlman,
oh right to Chevalier. Yeah, and I was able to
get into the kind of the pre show thing where
you're guaranteed to get your mind read.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
You've got a VIP pass for Os.

Speaker 14 (24:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Well he offered it to me because we had him
on the show, you know, and he's coming to the show.
He said, come early and you're guaranteed to get your
mind read. That should be interesting. Yeah, because I'm going
to play along, you know, and I really I believe
that he can do it, but I want to see
it firsthand, you know. I want him to ask me
something like think of a childhood friend that nobody knows

(24:21):
that you haven't talked about if he can guess it,
or maybe a prison story or something well that well,
I try to forget those.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Can you mention? Can you mention the book club? Because
I'm trying to get him to come back. He has
a book Plant the Seed.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Yeah, so that should be good. And then the next
weekend after Christmas, I'm going to Kill Tony at the
Box Center, which is a comedy shows a comedian, Tony
Hinchcliffe created it. It's Kill Tony is basically it's a
bunch of comedians and they call people up from the audience.
They submit themselves to go up and they get a
minute of stand up. They rate them live on stage.

(25:00):
I love that they either tear them down or you know.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Yeah, the UK, it could be brutal.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Yeah, I'm very curious. Producer Riley cracking mic on the
what are you doing for the holidays?

Speaker 13 (25:10):
Well, I'll be here for most of this shows vacations
and then I'm working and then I'm working a Bruins game,
multiple games.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
So let's kind of fall onto your busy. I'm very busy.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
So what you're saying is you're not on vacation. No, no, no, no,
not really.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
She takes her vacation when we're working, right, That's the
way it has to Ah, she has to be here.

Speaker 14 (25:30):
Yeah, So if you guys need to call in and
need some answers or anything, I'll be here.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
Yeah, care be doing the traffic in the weather. And
then also We are doing a Top twenty five Moments
of twenty twenty five, a special that will run next
week and the week after. We are Producer Riley and
I worked very hard on.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Wow you Yeah yeah, producer Riley, you're hosting shows now.
You did a Saturday night show recently and yeah, very good. Congratulations.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
Yeah what I'm in the ladder. So what do you
do on Uncle bill?

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Ah?

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Where are you going?

Speaker 4 (26:02):
Well, your birthday is Christmas Eve.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yes, well, we usually start the holiday vacation. It's kind
of a tradition with Michelle and I. So we'll check
into the Lenox Hotel in Boston. Very festive hotel and
romantic weekend there.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
I love the Lennox. They have a great new restaurant.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Yeah, they got the fireplace in the room.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Fireplace in the room, that's where things happen.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Well, there's you actually call down. This is so cool.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
You call down to the front desk when you come
back to the room after dinner or whatever, and he
comes and lights the fire or she and then it's showtime.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Is Titus going to be joining you? No, No, we're
Douglas for the weekend.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
Is that this weekend?

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (26:51):
Okay, and then what are you doing for Christmas Eve?
Your birthday?

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Yeah, Christmas Eve, don't really have a plan during the day,
you know, nobody's really yes, did anything?

Speaker 2 (27:02):
It's breath Yeah, there's still times.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Dad is always the forgotten person in the family.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
So I always say that. And then your boys, like
they come up big well.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Christmas Eve Night, my son Chris is hosting at his
house in Melrose. He did it last year for the
first time. It was phenomenal. His wife Hannah is.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
Such a gracious host and such a wonderful cook and baker,
so the.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Food will be fabulous for Christmas Eve Night. And then
Christmas Eve Day, Michelle's family comes over and Michelle makes
all the food, and her extended family comes in and
we have some fun. And then the morning after Christmas,
we're flying down in Naples.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Oh, Cora cool. I did get a little bit of
a inside inside information on one gift that's coming to
Billy from his children. What, yes, you're talking to my children.
They don't even talk to me. I know I talk
to them all the time, and it's very cool. That's
all I'm gonna say. I would never really.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
You always complain And then they come up this.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Is the only reason I'm saying, at least because he's
here complaining. Yeah, you can't hard. Behind the scenes, they
have been consulting you.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
They love you.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
They obviously love you, and they really appreciate everything that
you do for them.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
So they were thinking of me in advance of the way.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
Way.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Wow, I thought I never crossed their mind.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
Oh come on, you're you're our fearless leader and you're
their fearless leader.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Wow, this is very exciting. It's just going to hit
me out of nowhere or.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah, it's just it's just really cool. That's all I'm
gonna say.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
You know, my dream for Christmas is when they ask
what would you like my perfect gift for Christmas from
my body, I'd like an experience with them, you know.
Like one year we went to California, spent a couple
of nights in Santa Monica, hit Los Angeles, and then
we drove the four of us through the desert to
Vegas and stayed there for a couple of nights.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
It's all about the experience. Yes, that's really something that
we're starting with our children.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
And that's the most in demand thing though. People very
want experiences.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Yeah, like my brother shouts to my brother, who, by
the way, was stuck in that traffic.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
Yeah, this morning.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
Oh yeah, he was texting me this morning saying this
was a nightmare.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
It was a nightmare.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
He always does, you know, extravagant things for the kids. Yeah,
and this year we said experiences. Bro, Yeah, that's no more,
you know, more things. They'll get something, yeah, but you
know things that they'll remember.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
Yeah, they'll open it and push it aside. But an experience.
I still think you should get an RV for the
week and take them on an RV journey.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
Cool boy, I love them, but not that much.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
Yeah, yeah, not that much.

Speaker 4 (29:38):
Yes. So for the next two weeks we are off
on vacation, but like I said, we'll have the top
twenty five moments that special will run. And then also
Billy and I are going to do the countdown, the
year end countdown. That will run a bunch of times
as well.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
And Least is on it too.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Yeah, yes, we do that every year.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
It's going to be great.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Yeah, that's going to run a bunch too. So we
have a ton of content and stuff while we are away,
and a lot of people are probably on vaca. You
know what, I mean that stuff will all be podcasted
as well, or at least the twenty five moments.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Yeah, and we want to know what they're thinking about,
where they're going, what they're doing for the holidays. If
they're listening right now.

Speaker 8 (30:10):
Now, it's topic time for the Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
So we were a couple of minutes ago talking about
the holidays, what we have for plans. I will tell
you this, I'm thrilled with my gifts that I got
from the team this morning. I mean, I'm gonna be
hitting the car wash, thanks Justin. I got some great snacks.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
And wow, really amazing produced.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Sir Riley made like incredible. I don't know how she
doesn't have her own bakery.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
She makes the pretzel with the chocolate and the eminem
on top.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
It's like next level.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
She has a roll a melted rollo on top of
a pretzel.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
She kisses.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
When do you even find rollos? These were a huge
hit at my Christmas bent last year.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Bless Chess.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Yeah, I said to Riley, I said, I don't want
any gifts from you, but I'm requesting the cookies again
because they're so good.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Yeah, it was really it's it's Riley's bake shop. Yeah,
it's open for the holidays.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
And Billy the Freedo's Big Scoops. I got you justin.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Got me free Do's cheese it and flavor blasted goldfish.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
Yeah, so I sent my wife, Well, she was going
to the basket last night, right, Lise, So can you
get a couple of things for Billy? Goldfish cheese it's
Fredo's big Scoop. She comes back with the goldfish extra blasted.
I was so mad. I go, he's not going to
eat these. He wants the regular. She goes, those are
the best ones.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
I've always walked by them and think, oh I don't
need that. Now that I've tasted them this morning, it's
all I'll ever think. Go back the blasted goldfish and
oh yeah, and I.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Wouldn't give for you to just grow to three hundred pounds.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Oh and the Fridos couldn't have come at a better time.
I have a beautiful salsa waiting.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
At home, swollen from all the sun.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
Oh yeah, we'll come back after the New Year's I'm
not coming in. I'll do the show from home. I
can't be seen.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
A lot of water weight from the salt Sonny, let's
go to Becky. Where is Bethy? Becky?

Speaker 4 (32:05):

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Oh mgh okay, hey Becky. First of all, I don't
know what you do there, but thank you for your service.

Speaker 4 (32:13):

wanted to remind all the women out there to get
their yearly mammograms. It matters, and I'm very, very fortunate
that they past us well.

while you go through this.

other way this morning, So glad to hear all your voices,
and I wish you all all a happy holiday, and

Speaker 4 (33:12):

My mom worked for Mass General for thirty five years,
my her twin sister, my aunt forty years.

Speaker 2 (33:21):

Speaker 1 (33:22):

we are. We've got these hospitals right now.

Speaker 2 (33:27):

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Every year Billy says his kids don't come through for him,
and every year his kids are like champions.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
His kids are champions, Billy.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
They love you. Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Well, you know what it is. They're very successful.

Speaker 2 (34:19):

Speaker 14 (34:29):
I'm just laying here in bed with my dog Winnie,
enjoying our first day of a two week vacation for Christmas,
and can't wait to listen to the Talkback Awards. And
I just hope that it inspires more people to jump
on next year and share their stories and their lives
with us, because I love hearing it, and I love
hearing everyone's responses, and I love that you guys include

(34:51):
us as the listeners in the show. So have a
great day, have a fantastic holiday, and love you all.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
Well that's very nice, thank you, Sarah. Yeah, nine ten
we will award the Talkbacker of the Year. And that's
really what the talkbacks are all about. It's about our listeners.
We do nothing without the people that listen to this show,
which are part of our family.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
But we give them a microphone on the show.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
That's right. So nine to ten will announce the winner.

Speaker 17 (35:15):
No, the caddy here a little late for a vote,
but my vote for Kim. She since exploding on the
scene second half of this year, she has crushed it
and for the love of God, give it to her
so her family and friends aren't bombarding us all next year.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
Go Kim, Yeah, go Kim, all right. I met no
other Cadvyle weeks ago yea, Yeah, he's one of our
top talkbackers. Yeah, shout out to.

Him on break As a Christmas present, we're surprising our
three boys with a road trip to go to New Jersey.
But we're hitting up the pass game kind to see
patch Jets and the American Dream Mall is right there
with a huge water park indoor amusement park. So it's
probably going to be a parent nightmare, but they're going

(35:59):
to it and we're gonna get out of here for
a few days.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
Boy, it's like where the Millers. Yeah, with the r V,
you'll meet the Miller's or we are the Millers.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
Yeah, they'll regret it. She'll regret it after like for
the first ten minutes. But the American Dream is a
good good stop. Oh we went last year, actually no
earlier this year, and that water park is insane. It's
huge and by the way, if you're frequenting the American
dream all, make sure you're stopped by card Vault by
Tom Brady.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
It's my son's place.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
Good place.

Speaker 1 (36:27):

Don't really have much planned for Christmas.

Speaker 18 (39:30):
Other than eat a lot of food and maybe have
a couple of cocktails. Other than that, that's pretty much it.
I did get my Amazon package because I was expecting
it to come like at way after Christmas in January,
but it actually came a lot sooner than it did,
which is good.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
So thing go for Amazon. For that, but happy holidays. Yeah,
I'll definitely have a couple of cosmos for the holidays.
It's a very festive drink when you think of at
least it sits there on the bar, in the beautiful
Martini glass with the bright red color.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
And yeah, I have to add that that talkbacker to
my list here. I have a running list of the
top talkbackers. Yeah, I don't. She doesn't go by a name,
but the name she listed, I'm just gonna say it
is Owen Brophy and I looked up you know who
that is, producer Riley Owen Brophy is at least this
person is the character that Liam Helmsworth plays in a movie.

(40:22):
So I think it's a fake name. Oh, unless she
