Yeah, what's going on when my whole so this morning,
my whole entire family. Now, I'm one of four, three siblings.
I have two parents. My brother's married, so he has
a wife and they have two children.

But Winnie Accory is going to Saratoga Springs right now,
and they're going specifically Wednesday Friday, so the back before
my weekend, my weekend day, I can't go meet them
up there.

way Winnie could join the family. Yeah.

Literally, and they're like, oh, sorry, you can't come in.
Can you water the flowers? Though? Come by water the flowers.
I got some stuff coming from Amazon. We put it
inside the half literally literally, and I was like, yeah, okay, now,
mind you. We put our vacation aside, like a year
in advance. My brother and sister are both teachers, so
they're off all summer, right sure. My little sister has

a flexible job with her time off. My dad is
actually one of the reasons we're doing is my dad
is going through cancer treatments right now, so he has
a big time off right right, And so he just
finished chemo. Now he has like some time off of
four surgery.

So even your dad who's recovering from chemo, didn't want
you along for the vacation.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Did they even ask when your vacation were?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
They asked, but they all my mom knows because we
put it aside like the year before. So I always say, oh,
always July fourth, and like that third week of August,
normally my mom knew.

They went, oh, you know, well, dad, you have to
ask this is well, Dad's chemo ends in you know,
late June. He's not going to feel good for a
few weeks, and then we don't know what surgery is
going to be, so we want to do it too
late in the summer. And you know, it just worked
out that way.

Wow. But if I recall last year's vacation, you guys
all went and got an airbnb in San Diego and
you weren't talking to the family for the whole vacation.

That was two summers ago, twenty twenty three. I was
not talking to my sister because she decided to move
out and didn't tell me, and my mom knew. So
I got mad at my mom and I goes, well,
I wasn't shared so that I was not talking to
my mom.

So it was just yeah, so the way you are
here is the way you are there.

I am Hawaiian, no surprise. I literally am who I
am wherever I am.

know are up there, right, because you know my dad
and my mom loved that, and they well, Saturday's kind
of busy, so we're gonna leave Friday. And I'm like, oh,
because I can come you know Friday after work. It's
like a three hour drive. Oh no, we're going to
come home before that.

So they not only left on vacation when they knew
you couldn't go, but they're ending vacation before you can
get there. Exactly. Wow, and know they are off.

Imagine imagine if they hit it big. It's Saratoga, right,

So a couple of minutes ago on the show, we
found out that when he's entire extended family planned a
vacation so that she wouldn't go. They made sure they
were leaving while she had to work, and they were
coming home when she was able to go. That pretty

I was abandoned by my family after they told me
during COVID I wasn't in their bubble when they all
lived in the same house and I didn't come over
for Thanksgiving.

my husband and I were dating, he had invited me
up on his family vacation to the beach in Maine,
and I was all set to go, so excited. First
week away, gonna be a great time. Well then he
uninvited me.

Boy was I pissed. Oh so the family must have
said she's not coming here.

left me to go on a vacation. But when we
all graduated high school and left our childhood home, my
parents decided to have a huge yard tale without telling
all of us and sold like my prom dress, some
clothes that I forgot to bring with me, some memories
that I put in a box that's spinning on getting So, yeah,

Yeah, it's kind of like you know when you move
out to college or something and then you they turn
your room. Yes it's an office. Yeah, it kind of

out of here.

So Escaper and my parents own the business, and they
would go down to Florida for two months, and so
I would just be home alone for two months with
no work, doing nothing, totally in my thumbs. And I
did that for two years, and then the third year
I was like, this is focus.

And so now I snowbird with my parents.

times and actually forgotten it was my sixteenth birthday one time,
and made plans around that time. But the big one
was when they went to Hawaii without me, the whole family,
and I was lucky enough to be able to stay
home and take care of four of their dogs.

See, I'm like kind of well, that's like, Winnie, you
have to water the plants.

Yeah, they have take care of the house, picked up
in the packages.

I have something coming, can you pick it up at
the house and goes, well, you're here, can you water
the plants? And I'm like okay, sure.

go you go like Wednesday to Sunday, I can come
Friday after. Like I kind of gave off. Yeah, but
it was like, oh, you know if kind of busy

on there. Everyone goes there on the weekend, so we
don't want to we want to beat the crowd.

When I was eight, we live in Chicago. My entire
extended family came over to our super awesome house and

he was dealing with Parkinson's for the first time. And
it was a very very emotional moment. And by the way,
that concert, seventeen days ago, I guess is the highest

could be so competitive, but it was.

my whole entire family. Now, I'm one of four, three siblings.
I have two parents. My brother's married, so he has
a wife and they have two children.

But Winnie Accory is going to Saratoga Springs right now,
and they're going specifically Wednesday Friday, so the back before
my weekend, my weekend day, I can't go meet them
up there.

way Winnie could join the family. Yeah.

Literally, and they're like, oh, sorry, you can't come in.

I got some stuff coming from Amazon. We put it
inside the half literally literally, and I was like, yeah, okay, now,
mind you. We put our vacation aside, like a year
in advance. My brother and sister are both teachers, so
they're off all summer, right sure. My little sister has

a flexible job with her time off. My dad is
actually one of the reasons we're doing is my dad
is going through cancer treatments right now, so he has
a big time off right right, And so he just
finished chemo. Now he has like some time off of
four surgery.

So even your dad who's recovering from chemo, didn't want
you along for the vacation.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Did they even ask when your vacation were?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
They asked, but they all my mom knows because we
put it aside like the year before. So I always say, oh,
always July fourth, and like that third week of August,
normally my mom knew.

They went, oh, you know, well, dad, you have to
ask this is well, Dad's chemo ends in you know,
late June. He's not going to feel good for a
few weeks, and then we don't know what surgery is
going to be, so we want to do it too
late in the summer. And you know, it just worked
out that way.

Wow. But if I recall last year's vacation, you guys
all went and got an airbnb in San Diego and
you weren't talking to the family for the whole vacation.

That was two summers ago, twenty twenty three. I was
not talking to my sister because she decided to move
out and didn't tell me, and my mom knew. So
I got mad at my mom and I goes, well,
I wasn't shared so that I was not talking to
my mom.

So it was just yeah, so the way you are
here is the way you are there.

I am Hawaiian, no surprise. I literally am who I
am wherever I am.

found out that when he's entire extended family planned a

would go down to Florida for two months, and so
I would just be home alone for two months with

And so now I snowbird with my parents.

in the house, like the Kardashians, like the Nulis with
Nicolas and Jessica Simpson.

And it's really crazy to that it was just seventeen
days ago that Ozzy got together with Black Sabbath for
a fundraising concert in the UK. We still have that

Yeah. I was watching for a couple of minutes Good
Morning America this morning and they ran a piece where
Robin Roberts had gone to their home to do an interview,
and it was during that interview that Ozzie admitted that
he was dealing with Parkinson's for the first time. And
it was a very very emotional moment. And by the way,
that concert, seventeen days ago, I guess is the highest

grossing charity concert of all time. It's amazing. It's amazing.

Yeah, it wasn't just you know, obviously he was the
prince of darkness in the metal world, but it was
a pop culture icon.

My favorite the clip from the Osbourne's was when he
gets up he's really tired. He makes a cup of coffee.

drinking it and it's just spilling all over him.

And they all ended up with their own careers after
the reality showing. Me and Kelly ended up with a career,

I was a competitive horseback rider for years growing up.
In the amount of times I saw my trainers and
other trainers fighting with parents over which horses girls got
to ride, or you know how many courses girls got
to ride, or you know why girls got more time training?
Or what are parents fighting with other girls or other

girls parents was crazy. You would never think horseback riding
could be so competitive, but it was.

It happens in every sport. Yeah, yeah, like golf. I've
seen before golf. You think golf is like this, like
genteels for oh no, that parents are yelling at the
kids all the time.

It's horrible, even horseback riding, which led us to our
segment of Winnie's family who went on vacation this week
without her. They planned their vacation while she was working
to go to the horse races in Saratoga, New York.

Yes, every single family member of my immediate family, and poor.

Winnie even like tried to work with them or you know,
extend the vacation or do a weekend so I can come.

brother and sister in law had hosted her whole family
over for Christmas, and everybody opened their gifts simultaneously because
my brother and my sister in law were hosting an
entire trip, all expenses paid to Disneyland for her whole family,
and my other brother and I, who both had young
children between six and twelve, didn't.

Even know about it and we weren't invited.

Wow, I don't feel as bad when.

I don't feel as bad missing the horse races in
