Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, we're back. It's the big Friday show. Let me
ask you something, Lisa, are you my friend?
Speaker 2 (00:08):
We're going deep in the lyrics.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Oh god, it's a silly Friday. Okay, we're going to
talk about emojis. Now. I need to share something with everybody.
And I'm not making this up. I have never, never,
once used in emoji.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
That's a shame. Okay, they're a lot of fun throwing
it out there.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Okay, we love our emojis. But Lisa, you've got some
research on emoji.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
So there's a story that was popping yesterday on the
Daily Mail and the Post. And it pop because you
know the smiley face emoji that we all use, genuine
smiley face, Well for gen zers don't use it. So
if you're a millennial or even you know, gen X whatever,
they have a totally different feeling about the smiley face emoji.
They think it's passive, aggressive rather than friendly. So if
(00:54):
you use it with somebody younger, they're going to think
you're like, it's like a side It's like a side
eye kind of thing, which I'm so surprised about.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
I can't even believe it.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
So we're misunderstanding the smiley face.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
We are like big time curious to know which which
smiley face are they talking about? Is it the super smile,
is it the one that shows teeth? Is it the
kind of the mid smile?
Speaker 5 (01:15):
Is that regular, like regular regular smile.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
The thumbs up, which I use all the time to
would be like an affirmation like yeah, hi, great, No,
not so much.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
It's sarcastic.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah I knew that one. Yeah, yeah, because that's a
petty thing to do. When I'm in a conversation with
somebody and they annoy me, I do a thumbs up.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
Yeah, you know, I actually take no offense if like
Lisa sends me a thumbs up, But like if Justin
or somebody that I know is being passive with it,
I would be like, oh you're being passive.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yeah yeah, you know the skull emoji, So a lot
of people would think it was like you know, I'm dead,
or like use it yeah yeah, but older people think
it's like, you know, dead tired, like extra size.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Maybe it's a good I don't know, and smart one
not using them, okay, because they could be sending up bad,
wrong meanings.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
So I use the skull or the skull and bones
or a coffin when I'm like, I'm dead, like I'm
dying of laughter.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
I use it for that, the coffin you're dead, that's
you're cracking up really funny.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
If you make me laugh really hard, I'll use the
coffin emoji.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
So what about the sparkle emoji?
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Oh, I don't use that.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Explain that one, okay.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
I When I use it, it's it's like to razzle dazzle.
It's like it's, you know, like a little it's like
a vibe. The sparkle to me, U is a vibe,
like a good vibe.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Well, what's an example of why you'd use the sparkle?
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Like if I'm wearing something like a pretty outfit, or
if I like, just if I glam like if you
do like a glam shot, Like.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
If you're supposed like a selfie of her outfit, you
could put the little spark But.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
They're saying that gen z Ers say sometimes sparkles often
show that someone is being sarcastic.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
I don't know, my god, they're so up in.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
The there are feelings over the emojis.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah, you know what, Bill, any any gen Zer that
you're texting with, I don't know, who that person is.
Just send eggplant.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
No, no, no, no, no, don't do that. Don't do that.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Do that it means like your your area, you're junk.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
It's it's you mean, I'm offering it up.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yeah, so don't do that.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Taking the wrong way, like really creepy.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
Okay, send a peach No no, no, no, okay no
no peach is like as you don't want follow me
for more advice, don't listen to just okay, yeah, no,
no peach, No egg plant for billy.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I'm really stuck on the smile emoji. I don't get that.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
It's this one.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Oh wait, okay, I can see it now. Yeah, because
it's kind of a half smile, so they want a
smiley face. That's the full smile.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Yes, that the teeth is a smile.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
That one's like, okay, this one's like side eye smile,
which could be sarcastic.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
If your feelings are hurt by an emoji, I mean
you really just need.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
To lie down and can kill friendships and relations?
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yes, yes, never using an emoji ever again was the
smart one?
Speaker 5 (04:23):
People can break up over emojis? Why do you be?
Like what why did you send me that one?
Speaker 6 (04:27):
Like?
Speaker 5 (04:27):
What like, are you being sarcastic?
Speaker 3 (04:29):
You mean, like, no, my wife got into a little
bit of a fight with one of her friends a
while back and they were going back and forth on text,
and my wife wrote something to her and the person
wrote a thumbs just a thumbs up, no response, haven't spoken.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, that's because she perceived it as like, yeah, whatever,
I have time for this.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, yeah, it's belittling.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
What a bitch.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Okay, this is crazy.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
It's well, you.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Know, the emojis are their own language and they there's
so much behind it, and it's messed up, but it's
so true. And if that happened to me, if I
was jen, I would never touch that person any there.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
People are a little too sensitive.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Job.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
Okay, that was That was the end in the conversation.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I'm never using another emoji.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
There you go join the party.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Well, now it makes sense. All the emojis that I
sent Bill, he never responds.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
To them because I don't know what they mean. Honestly,
I'm kind of embarrassed for you when you're sending another.
Speaker 7 (05:30):
Grown man in a moment, I'm dead, give me the call, yeah,
the skull.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
The coffin. Yeah, yeah, And I send Lisa, the wink
one with the little heart in the mouth face. That's
a good one.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
That could be an hr little creepy.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
I would go right to Hilly and Lisa.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Okay, So a couple of minutes ago we kicked off
some emoji controversy. Lisa had a story about emojis and
how some people are interpreting them in different ways. And
let's go to the phone to Andrew's calling in from
andover Andrew your thoughts on the emojis?
Speaker 8 (06:15):
Hey, yeah, So I don't know, it's kind of crazy
because I'm a millennial, so I subscribed to a lot
of the idea that like there's nuance there. I totally
get the eggplant and the pizza and everything. You don't
want to send that, But like gen Z has taken
it to an entirely new level.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Seems like it.
Speaker 8 (06:33):
I don't know if I don't know if any of
you guys have seen.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Adolescence, No, I haven't, but I want to.
Speaker 8 (06:41):
Highly recommend it. So it's only four episodes, but like
it talks about just like gen Z and teenager behavior
m hm, and like the way that they interpret emojis, like, oh,
you sent a heart that was this color. Therefore you're
sending the wrong message, or like you sent a pill
and that's referencing Andrew Tait and like the whole macho
alpha like universe, and it blew my mind. I was like,
(07:04):
there's no way that it can mean this much.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Wow. So they don't know they were addressing the controversy
and adolescence then.
Speaker 8 (07:11):
Yeah, I mean because it's one of those things where
there's a dad in the series and he's talking to
a teenage son and the son pulls him aside and says,
this is what this means, and this is what this means.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, Now, Andrew, you said something a couple of minutes
ago that kind of threw me. Did you say there's
a pizza emoji?
Speaker 9 (07:27):
No?
Speaker 5 (07:27):
He said peach oh okay, And there is a pizza
emoji though.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
There is basically and what's the pizza mean?
Speaker 2 (07:35):
A pizza pizza?
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yeah. By the way, Adolescents fantastic show on Netflix. Yeah,
Andrew is right, it's really worth the watch.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Yeah, I rated very highly. Let's go to Alian Woodster, Hi,
Ali Emoji's what do you think?
Speaker 10 (07:48):
So my take is a little different because they also
hate punctuation. My twenty three year old daughter gets so
mad at me if I use a period at the
end of a sentence. She's tells me that it means
I'm mad at her.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
Yeah, don't do that. That's really not do that.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah, you're not supposed to use punctuation like periods.
Speaker 10 (08:09):
Yeah, like periods. Specifically, her boyfriend was late for work,
so he texted his boss and she used a period
at the end of the sentence felt telling him it
was fine, and they both called me freaking out like
he was going to get fired.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Oh my god, I used periods in every single text.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
No, it's it's true. Yesterday I was texting somebody and
I was using Siri and it put period, like three
periods of Oh my god. They think I'm mad at them,
really because it was like this sentence period, this sentence period.
Speaker 11 (08:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
I don't use punctuation and text really because you not to.
I don't when he's right. When I see people use it,
it kind of sticks out to me.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Really, I have to overhaul my entire.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
And I use punctuation outside of texting.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
It's just for texting.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Justin You're a grown man with a lot of muscles
and your feelings are hurt.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
If somebody puts a period on their it just sticks
out to me. I don't think they are meaning anything
by it, but I notice it.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
If you put okay period or k period, you hate
me and we're not friends. We're no longer associated.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Now I know where all the anxiety is coming on.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
If I'm writing a long text, you know, then I
might might use punctuation, but right when he's right, if
it's a shit one word period, I'm like, whoa.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Wow, what did I do?
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Whose new song is anxiety?
Speaker 12 (09:27):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah, that's what she's singing about. Emojis and periods.
Speaker 13 (09:31):
Yeah, good morning. Yes, emojis can have an undertone. I
have a co worker who would send me smile emojis
with teeth, but I knew down deep she really wasn't
happy for me. There was a little bit of a
sarcasm hint.
Speaker 14 (09:48):
There.
Speaker 13 (09:48):
Definitely can be used in all different ways.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
Yeah, that emoji where you like clench your teeth. It's
not happy.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
It's not like a yeah, it's like like an anxious.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
It's like okay. Like if Lisa goes oh, like I'll
be okay Lisa, and like I like.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
My god.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Yeah. So it's a whole language.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
It is it really should be studied, And yet.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
They all look so happy the emojis, right, yeah, the
colors of the emojis look so happy, and yet I
guess it's all angry.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Come on, baby, you gotta jump on board.
Speaker 11 (10:20):
Bill, Hey, Billy, I think you should send Michelle an
egg plant emoji, squirting water emoji, a peach emoji, a
winking emoji, and a heart emoji and see how she responds.
Speaker 15 (10:32):
Today.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
I think a fun Friday for you cover everything.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
You hear, he said, just as soon said the real thing.
Speaker 16 (10:45):
In the morning.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
One to wait, You got that right, So I'm a
little disappointed before we get to entertainment a couple of seconds.
So Lisa and I had a story this morning, the
two of us shared yesterday as we left the building.
We were driving in the same route, side by side,
right outside the building, and then we came up to
a red light and suddenly a van pulled up between us. Okay,
(11:12):
so I'm in the left lane, Lisa's in the right lane,
and this van suddenly showed up right between us.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
But I have to say, you and I were on
the phone with each other yes while this whole thing
was going down, and then we pulled up to the
traffic lighting Wellington Circle and that's when this van yeah, And.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
I said, hey, Lisa, look to your left, a van
just pulled up between us, and the van said Lisa's
Family Pizzeria. And it was a beautifully wrapped van. And
so then the guy's window was rolled down, so I
rolled my passenger window down. Well, I didn't roll it.
I hit the button and I said, hey, buddy, and
(11:48):
he said yeah. I said, do you guys deliver in
the morning and they said yeah, we started eleven. I said, well,
is there any way we can get earlier and we'll
have a pizza party on the Billy and Lisa the
Morning Show. Riddy Pez He said, well, it depends on
how big the order is. And this morning I said,
I was willing. I'll go to ten pizzas if that's
a big enough order for them to deliver during the
(12:10):
Billy and Lisa Morning Show. Now it's too late for
this morning. I guess, okay, unless they think they can
make it here. But nobody got back to us from
Melisa's Family Pizzeria in Medford.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Well, if they are listening now, or anybody's listening, then
I don't know. Hit us up send me a DM
at Justin Beazy on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Well, it's a big day on the Billy and Lisa
Morning Show. We world premiered Rihanna's new song, and we
won't have a party.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
I just want to know what's good you're gonna do
with all the pizza, because you're gonna have one slice,
Lisa' have ones, one or two slices. You'll have one
or two and then you left with nine and a half.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Okay, you don't think Winnie's gonna take two pizzas home.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
I mean I could definitely find people that would like
pizza after the show.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah, Riley will take a couple of pizzas. Do her mom, Jackie.
Lisa will bring it to the boys. Justin you can
bring it up there in New Hampshire and have a
big yard party.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Yeah, I know these cheese pizzas or anything you want? No, no,
you only yeah, no toppings for you.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Good pizza. It's like a good cup of coffee. You
don't need anything now.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
The Entertainment Update with a Billy godsend.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
It is one of America's greatest foods, isn't it a pizza?
Speaker 5 (13:15):
Love pizza hing.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
On Imagine if they never invented the pizza. Anyway, Here
we go Celts in the next Game six in New
York tonight, eight o'clock tip off, win or go home
for the Celtics again tonight. Game seven schedule for Boston
Monday night. The Nuggets did beat the Thunder last night.
They've got a game seven on Sunday. And by the way,
your Red Sox are home all weekend out at Fenway
(13:36):
Park with the Braves. And yeah, we World premiered the
new Rhianna song earlier this morning. I like it. It's
part of the soundtrack for the Smurfs movie which is
coming out. And I think she has a roll of
sorts in the movie too.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
She's smurfat.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Yeah, she literally is smurt fat. And if you listen
to the song, you know some people this some you
know talk online about people are upset that it's not
the lead single to her upcoming album, which we've been
waiting for nine years. Oh yeah, this is for a movie.
You can hear it. It sounds like a movie. It
sounds like a song in a movie. That's what it is.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Yeah, did you know that Kurt Russell isn't it too?
And James Corden.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
I did not know that, but those are very good
voice people.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
I knew James Corden was in it. I wasn't gonna
where Kurt.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Russell, James and John Goodman is papasmar.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
I love John?
Speaker 16 (14:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Wow John Goodman? Oh good? All right, So there you go,
we got to go to the Bill Belichick thing, because, yes,
as anticipated, Bill Belichick was on Good Morning America.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Did you x my new music out?
Speaker 1 (14:34):
No, we're going to get there. Okay, okay, Okay, there buddy,
I know I'm ready. Okay, So Belichick just a couple
of minutes ago, was on Good Morning America. I need
to point out Jordan was not there. Michael Strahan Saturday
says she's not here this morning, but Strayhand did address
the Jordan thing.
Speaker 17 (14:53):
I know that a lot have been made, also in
the professional life, but also your personal life because it's
spilt over into your professional life. A lot of way, then,
I've been made about your relationship with Jordan Hudson. It's
been getting a lot of attention. She isn't here this morning,
But what do you think about all the attention that
your relationship has been getting.
Speaker 16 (15:11):
Yeah, well, she's been terrific to you know, through the
whole process, and she's been very helpful to me. She
does the business things that don't relate to North Carolina
that come up in my life, so I can concentrate
on football, and that's really what I want to do.
You know, I acknowledge her in the book. She was
very helpful on that with the with the tribute pages
and also given a perspective of the book from kind
of a business side. You know, sometimes I get a
little football technical and and so you know, she did
(15:34):
a good job of keep me on balance there.
Speaker 17 (15:36):
So what did Jordan mean to you?
Speaker 12 (15:38):
Oh?
Speaker 16 (15:38):
Boy, Well, we have good personal relationship. And you know,
I'm not talking about personal relationships, Michael.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
You know that.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Okay, I know they could.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
I'm saying, are you happy? Yeah, can you look happy?
Speaker 15 (15:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (15:49):
I never thought I thought i'd seen you doing yoga.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
So okay.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
So he's the one that said we're not talking about
this right now.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
I'm surprised that she's not there me too.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
I thought for sure she would not only be in
the studio, but sitting there on the set like as
they were doing the interview. But there is a new
report this morning, okay, And I need to point out
this is not our report. Okay, this is just something
we saw this morning. And the report is suggesting that
(16:23):
they may have been to get together as far back
as when Jordan was nineteen or twenty. And there's another
piece in the report. This one's shocking. It suggests you
remember that camera video of Bill, Yes, the ringcamvue.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
A shirtless Bill Belichick leaving a house.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
This report is suggesting that Jordan posted that video.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Well, she would have to have access to the ring
camera and she if it's her house, she would have that.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Oh boy. So if this were to turn out to
be true, And again this is not our report, okay,
suggesting if is this is true, that would mean that
they were flying together that day. They didn't meet on
the plane.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
Right, I can't assume at this point.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
That never made sense.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Why is she they were together?
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Right? That's why she didn't want to talk about it,
talking about Okay, and we're not going to talk about
it anymore.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
Oh I thought I wanted to.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
We will, we will anyway. Miley Cyrus got a new
album and an accompanying movie on the way. The movie
hits theaters in the US one night only June twelfth.
The trailer dropped yesterday. Meantime, the album drops May thirtieth.
The movie will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival one
(17:44):
week later June sixth, and The Weekend's new movie, Hurry
Up Tomorrow, is out today. He was on Fallon last
night talking about the days before he became famous as
The Weekend.
Speaker 18 (17:54):
I was working at an American apparel Okay, what we're
doing in the nineteen I was.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
I was trying to folk.
Speaker 18 (18:00):
Yeah, it's interesting because the guy who my boss is
actually my one of my creative directors. That a lot
of my typography for my albums now. But at the time,
nobody knew what I looked like because I was, you know,
I didn't show my face. My music was was out
and I had like local, little bit of local clout.
The people started playing it, people working at American perils
(18:21):
started playing the music and it was your music, and
that was like the validation I needed. I'm like, I'm
quitting this job and I'm this is my.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
You were like, you ever heard this?
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Dude?
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Check this out. It's better than the the Idol god Bomb.
Speaker 5 (18:39):
I don't know what's worth his acting or the script
of that it was yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
It's just yeah. Also in theaters this weekend, the new
Final Destination movie expected to do huge numbers. Tom Cruise
got a standing ovation at the con Film Festival this
week for his latest Mission Impossible movie, The Final Reckoning,
and the Justin Bieber's people putting out a statement yesterday
saying Justin is not, and never was, one of Diddy's victims.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
They're saying he blew between five hundred million and one
billion of his fortune while he's going bankrupt. He blew
through all that money and that's why he sold his
music catalog for two hundred million.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
What did he blow it on?
Speaker 4 (19:21):
That's so much pridey, I mean, I know, but like
how many sprinter van rides do they take?
Speaker 12 (19:26):
I mean?
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Or is he paying for you know, thirty people, right,
you know? An entourage?
Speaker 3 (19:31):
Yeah? Bad investments?
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Maybe maybe that's a lot.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
I wonder if he invested in her makeup company Road, Yes,
which would be a lot of money.
Speaker 5 (19:39):
I would assume, right, well, yeah, although she does have
a lot of feeling money, so I don't know.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
But Kelly Clarkson launching a new show on NBC four
parts special called Songs and stories with Kelly Clarkson. It'll
be conversations and music with stars like Teddy Swims, A, Lizzo,
the Jonas Brothers and Gloria Estefan and Snooped. He talks
about getting high with Ed Sharon and Russell Crowe.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
Yes, me me, Ed sharing and Russell Crowe was in
Australia and I took them to a place that no
one ever been to before. And uh, brother Ed forgot
how to say, he forgot how to play instruments. But
I mean, I love doing things like that. That's that's
the height of my highlights. I love to get people high.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
You know, Snoop's got some good stuff.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
Getting high with Snoops seems like the course he's got
good stuff.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
So Laurence Sanchez had a bachelorette party in Paris this week.
Lisa who was there and what happened?
Speaker 4 (20:36):
So Chris Jenner was there, Katy Perry obviously was there
because they just went up into outer space together, and
Kim Kardashian was there, and a bunch of other women
that I didn't know who they.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Were, but yeah, they did the whole Paris you know.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Deal boy, were they playing dress.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Up they were.
Speaker 5 (20:51):
I have been engaged forever.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
It's been several years.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
A lot of lips in that group, Oh.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
Boy, I mean a lot of They're getting married in
Italy in June.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
Oh good for that.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Of course. They are like Rome or the Amalthfee Coast or.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
I think it's Venice actually, oh Venice.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Okay. Body parts are washing up on the shores of
Rhode Island, right near Taylor Swift's Rhode Island mansion. A leg,
a human leg washed up on shore, like a block
or two from her place.
Speaker 8 (21:23):
Poor guy that lost his leg.
Speaker 12 (21:25):
Yeah, probably never find out who belongs to poor guy.
Speaker 5 (21:29):
He just doesn't have a leg to stand on.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Oh, they just can't help.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Yeah, I said, at least it's gonna be Calvin Harris's leg.
Wasn't he hanging out down there for.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
A while he was, Yeah, he used to party there,
but he.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Had new music recently, so I think he's fine.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
Yeah, he's done.
Speaker 15 (21:47):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Jaws is celebrating fifty years next month, and some guy
is swimming around Martha's venue. He actually started.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Yesterday round did he swam for four hours? He'll do
it daily, twelve days, sixty two miles. So and he's
trying to like raise awareness about how great sharks are.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
We're talking about cold shark infested wise, and he's just.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Wearing a bathing suit. He's not wearing a wet suit.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
And by the way, all he has alongside him is
one guy in a kayak.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
Right, he's I'm telling you, he's taken. He's taken a chance.
He really is.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Tom Bergeron is going to be hosting a Shark Week special.
Remember Tom Dancing with the Star Wars from Boston. Yeh,
good friend of mine.
Speaker 10 (22:27):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
It's called Dancing with the Sharks, and they'll have divers
in the water actually doing choreographed programs with sharks. Actually
it sounds pretty interesting. Are of course Tom Bergeron is
my buddy, and we're brought to you by Wow.
Speaker 5 (22:46):
Yeah, it's crazy, unbelievable Friday.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
No, it's okay.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Oh my god, I'm sorry, justin it's a.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
New music Friday, a theme.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
No no, no, no, no, literally, it's no music Friday.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
It's no music Friday. Well, we did Rhianna's World.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
At three thirty in the morning. I was here pulling them.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Oh my god, I apologie.
Speaker 2 (23:03):

than wan.
Speaker 1 (23:05):

Speaker 4 (23:38):
So we're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
No a special edition of New Music Friday with Justin. Okay, Justin,
how's that? I messed up earlier this morning. I forgot
to put your new music in the Entertainment Report because
we had the Belichick updates.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
So it's not a huge deal. We did tease it
going in. That's why I want to. I want to
pay off the t's as they say we got as well.
I come in early, I get it ready for this
big presentation. It's all good, okay, let's go on the
movie show New Music Friday today. Of course, The Rihanna
We World premiered this morning at seven ten. We had
mccab in here, the Mighty McCabe who's on the air
(24:17):
after us. He also is we don't know what he is.
He's the boss, he's the pro assistant program director. He's
just the guy here a kiss one away, yeah, the
utility guy. Yeah. And it's pretty cool. He told a
cool story, like they flew in from La in this
like a little secret box. To premiere the Rihanna song.
It's from the Smurfs movie that's coming out. She's starring
a Smurfette and the song is called friend of Mine.
(24:38):
It's what he calls a vibe. If you're expecting, you know, work,
you know you're you're not gonna get that. This is
from a.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Movie, right, it's a Smurf's movie.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
It's a Smurfs movie. If you close your eyes, you
can picture the smursh movie.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
If you're DJing at a club, you just insert some
of it and then come right out of it.
Speaker 13 (24:53):
You know.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
And the video is really cute because it's Rihanna.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
And then she kind of walks around the set and
then it goes into the Smurfs.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
It's I liked it.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Yeah, it's something different exactly. That's all. Also today is
the Morgan walln album, which features thirty seven songs.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
That's a lot of songs.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
That's a lot of songs. And you know, I gotta
get props to him because I'm assuming there'll be no
deluxe album that I bother, you know, like that's what
people do. They make a bunch of songs, they picked
some for an album, and then they put the deluxe out.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
What would that have thirty eight songs?
Speaker 3 (25:26):
I don't know. But it does feature the collaboration with
Tate McCray that everybody has been anticipating. It's called What
I Want is kid Leroy?
Speaker 1 (25:34):
Yeah, Oh that's good.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
I know they're so cute.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Yeah, she's out on tour. Obviously, she's she's in Germany,
I think now, but yeah, she's She's doing three shows
in Boston.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
And kid Leroy hasn't done much lately. He's just become
like Tate's.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Boy new song that we did on New Music Friday.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Yeah, he's working on a new album. He's been teasing
a new song. I'll try to pull it up in
a few minutes. Okay, yeah, he's got stuff coming, all right,
Billy leave.
Speaker 5 (25:59):
The girls, which is good. I have the bed right here.
But listen, that's kill Roy.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yeah, let's go.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
He got something going on.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Yeah, I think he's just taking his time putting his music.
Speaker 5 (26:11):
Don't come at kill Roy. What did he do? No?
Speaker 1 (26:13):
I was just asking.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
I liked I know he doesn't care about you anyway, Hey, Lisa,
how you doing? Also new for New Music Friday today,
Lola Young, who has the number one song on the
Kiss Top thirty countown. That's a big deal going for
two weeks this week on the Countdown. But she has
a new song. It's called one Thing.
Speaker 8 (26:35):
I Wanted.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Everybody wants. She's very good.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
It's giving like Gwen Stefani.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Like it vibes.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Yeah, I'm liking it. I'm liking that sound. You guys
like it. We talk about the songs.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Okay, I really liked it, just you know chatter. I
feel like a new person having heard it.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
All right, Well, I guarantee this last one is for Lisa.
It's the new Ketcher song. I think you should added
to your running playlist. Lisa, I was driving to work
this morning and I heard it for the first time,
and I just wanted to go faster on ninety three.
I didn't. I did the speed limit, but I wanted
to anyway. It's called boy Crazy who really it really
does get you going? Yeah you know so? Yeah. Catches
(27:24):
coming to the Expinity Center this summer and has a
new project on the way as well. Good job, buddy,
I liked all of them you did. Yeah, okay, yeah,
the Rihanna can you heard it here first on Kiss,
but you can hear much more all that, all those songs,
plus so much more on the iHeartRadio.

Speaker 12 (28:08):
A quick hike up north, or if I should do
like a day or two trip cross country and do
like some hiking and travel like undecided?
Speaker 8 (28:19):
What do we think?
Speaker 1 (28:21):
What do you think you?
Speaker 2 (28:22):
I don't understand her question. What does she want to do?
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Go up? Either go up north for a hike like
for the day, yeah, or go across country somewhere for
a few days. Maybe not across the whole country, but
basically take a shorter trip or a longer trip cross
country cross No.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
Well this weekend, I think, so I would go go
We're not going to have good weather this weekend.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Take the longer trip, I would yeah. How about yeah,
go a spa. Well, no, those are the options.
Speaker 1 (28:51):

don't know, Johnny Kent.
Speaker 5 (30:15):
I thought Attorney Ken had a man, but I guess not.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
Thinking glass of wine at club Cafe for starters.

Apparently, I guess so. But Happy Birthday, Stephanie, thank you
for listening.
Speaker 19 (31:07):
Happy Friday eighteen. You guys rock. Jennifer Milton here just
head to what you know that. I went to see
Jay Schetti at the Wang Center last night and his
special guest Mel Robbins. Oh my gosh, it was amazing.
She was there at the first half and then it
was just Jane in the second half and he I
(31:27):
just got a colnt down till he comes back. And
you've got to listen to the podcast because it's being found.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
That must have been a nice collaboration.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Friends, yeah, yeah, Yeah, she's been on his podcast and
I think he's been on her podcast.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Jay Schetty on our show and it was it was
one of the highlights of the year. I think, yeah,
really yeah, he drops a lot of gems. And finally
we've been talking about this Lisa's pizza.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
Yeah, oh yeah, we have enough days.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Well not an update, but we have, like you know,
some chiming in on it.
Speaker 19 (31:59):
Lisa is the best pizza. You have got to order
from them, if not today, some other day.
Speaker 5 (32:06):
I hope they're listening and get either pizza.
Speaker 14 (32:08):
It's delicious, and I hope they throw in an order
of the cheesy broccol bites.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Yeah, Lisa's family Pizzai. I guess it's in Medford. Billy
and Lisa saw their truck outside the radio station. Yeah,
and Billy was trying to get them to bring pizza
at six o'clock in the morning.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Well, the truck appeared out of nowhere and it was
right in our face. The guy had the window rolled down.
I said, hey, let's get some pizza. It's Lisa's pizza.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
Yeah. So we haven't heard anything, so I'm going to
call and.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
See if we can get a drop but I want
to buy the pizza Monday morning. How's that?
Speaker 5 (32:38):
But you had to understand they don't open to eleven,
so you got to go.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
In with somebody in there earlier than that. Yeah, somebody's
gotta do the dough and all that, chop up.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
The vegetable sauce, right, not five am.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
So we'll do nine o'clock.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
If the order is big enough. Like the guy told Billy,
they'll come in. They'll come in early. Yeah, they're gonna
do it for one pizza.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Of course, I'll do ten pizzas Lisa's pizza. I'm in
for tenkay.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
Lisa, Lisa? Why is he so obsessed with.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
This next to us? It was a sign.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
He called me yesterday and was talking for like thirty
minutes about Lisa's pizza.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
I'm sorry. This's is spiritual. There's a reason this van
appeared between Lisa and Iron Traffic. It's a sign of
some sort.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
It was an advarition, really was it was.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
It pulled up right between us and we both looked
at the same time on the.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Phone, Yeah, and we're like, oh, look at that. There's
Lisa's pizza in Medford.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
It was almost like it was arranged so hopefully we'll
get them here next week.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
Yeah, I know, what do you care? You're getting free
pizza kids.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
This whole week, we've been giving away three day passes
for Boston Calling, which is coming up next weekend Memorial
Day weekend. Uh. These are VIP passes. We did the
ticket tags. You had to enter on the Kiss Instagram
and then listen at seven ten every morning to hear
your name called out, like Stephanie did today on a Friday.
Speaker 19 (34:05):
Happy Friday to me.
Speaker 5 (34:06):
Yes, thank you?
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Yeah? Whoa who are you going with?
Speaker 3 (34:09):
I don't know yet.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
I have to think about it.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
But do you have any friends?
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Bill with the hard hitting questions? Congratulations to Stephanie, and
I want to mention starting Monday morning, how about this?
So Live Nation has their summer sales starting next week
on Wednesday. That's thirty dollars tickets to all the shows
coming to Boston, a bunch of shows. Thirty bucks. To
support that, we're giving out four different shows to one
(34:38):
person seven to ten Monday morning, and that includes Halsey, Kesha,
Big Time Rush, and AJR.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
All those shows one person.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
One person Wow. Yes, wow. That's happening Monday at seven
ten and again Wednesday, the Live Nation Summer Sale kicks off.
This is a big deal if you like shows and
you want to go this summer, it's a big deal.
Speaking of shows or speaking of songs, I say, Rihanna
dropped her new song today. It's called Friend of Mine
from the Smarts movie comes out this summer. Also stars
(35:07):
Kurt Russell, James Gordon, and James Corden. So yeah, it's more.
It's not like her her first single for her new
up upcoming album. It's a you know, it's a song
from a movie.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Well it's a test movie. It's a big deal. How
big business deal it is?
Speaker 3 (35:20):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah. Our topic time this morning was fun.
You know, on the iHeartRadio app, we have a lyrics
feature where you can read the lyrics as the song plays.
It's pretty cool. So the kind of the topic was,
you know what song? Do you know all the lyrics too?
Can you let us know?
Speaker 16 (35:34):
I'm so impressed by people memorizing these lyrics and here
I'm trying to figure out whether I washed my hair yesterday.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
I gotta say though, the people crushed it. You know,
we asked people to call in and sing these songs
and get the lyrics right, and a lot of them did.
All the time.
Speaker 8 (35:50):
I turned around, but just got the ground. I was
looking on the up and down, looking anyone know.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
What's on that is? That's fur delicious.
Speaker 16 (35:56):
Well, I just want to say it now.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
I'm trying to round up drum a little, mama. I
don't wanted to come in, and you know, I'm coming
off just a little bit sated, and they keep un
revieating how the boys want to.
Speaker 10 (36:03):
But I'm trying to that it can't be treated to
that content because they say, she still.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
The faster songs really got me. That's really impressive.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Yeah, it's impressive.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
It's really impressive.
Speaker 14 (36:11):
Yeah, hi, said Aliat, And I'm gonna say I say
them mind. Yeah, I'm at the Brooklyn now I'm down
a drawback. I mean the the but I be whatever.
I'm in a Sinatra answer to IM made it here,
I can make it any new week.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
I think she got it.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
I'm amazed by the selection of songs we got this morning.
This could be a good contest.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Yeah, we had a lot. That's a good idea. Yeah, Yeah,
we had older songs, newer songs, you know, throwbacks.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
All right, stop collaborate and listen.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Ice is back with a brand new invention. Something grabs
hold of me tightly, flow like a hopo and daily
and nightly.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
Will it ever stop you?
Speaker 3 (36:47):
I don't know, Ice, Ice Baby. That's a going to
fun topic on a Friday. And finally, we had a
little lost story at a ten this morning about emojis
and the emojis that gen zers don't like anymore. They
don't like the smiley face, you know, a bunch of
other ones, and that God is talking about, you know,
ones that we like or don't like, especially the thumbs up.
(37:08):
You know, that can be a passive aggressive.
Speaker 9 (37:10):
So thumbs up definitely can ruin a friendship, relationship or
any emoji, Like if someone sends you the wrong emoji
meant for someone else and it doesn't go with a conversation,
So that's a whole another one. I can say, thumbs
up I gave when I got that and the person knew,
(37:31):
and then I called and they didn't answer, and I
left a message and basically ended.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
It his thumbs up kind of like whatever, Yeah, all right, buddy,
good job, Like okay, bud oh okay, my.
Speaker 4 (37:44):
God, I have I'm never using another emoji because yeah,
I always see thumbs up.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Okay, I thought it was fine, right.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Yeah, I see where it can be passive aggressive, especially know.
What it is for me is when you text somebody
a lengthy text, like a thoughtful text, you know, a
few sentences at least, and the response is thumbs up.
That means they either don't care or they want to
end the conversation. Yeah, it's kind of like whatever, okay,
well it's disrespectful, like you expect a response to go
with your what you said.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
You know, occasionally when I send my wife Michelle a text,
she'll respond with like a face with like a wink.
Oh yeah good or bad?
Speaker 5 (38:24):
Oh that's good?
Speaker 1 (38:25):
Oh really? Oh yeah okay.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Oh that's really good.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
How often does that happen?
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Pretty often?
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Really?
Speaker 1 (38:32):
So what does it mean?
Speaker 3 (38:33):
It means, yeah, I can't wait for you to get home.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Oh really, it's like it's flirtatious.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
