Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston, Billie and Lisa in
the morning. It's just a great start to my day
on Kids Runaway.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Well, good morning everybody, and a happy Tuesday to you.
Happy tax day everybody gotta get those returns in by midnight.
And it's One Boston Day, which is this very special
day in the city of Boston, honoring first responders, obviously
the victims and their families. There's going to be a
memorial down on Boylson Street on the finish line just

(00:31):
after ten o'clock this morning.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
It's a day we'll never forget as a city.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Oh my god, what a crazy day. The marathon bombing,
So that's going on, and kind of a weird weather pattern.
It's going to be a little rain early today and
then some clearing later.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
We have a mild temps in the sixties. We actually
have a nice week ahead. I think, you know, the
Easter weekend looks pretty good. Lots of sunshine.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Oh that's right, it's Easter weekend.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, they're saying seventies on Saturday. Wow, yeah, I know.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
We go.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
My pool's opening on Thursday. Oh, slashdown, splash down on Bursday.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I can't wait. How about your pool, justin you opening this,
do we do it in may Ah?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
I just like looking at the blue water. It makes
me feel better.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah, it's so funny you say that. That's what I
enjoyed the most about the pool at night, you know,
when you have the lights on and you're just looking
out of the rippling in the water and anyway, Yeah, memories.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
And I love how I have a pool, Bill, and
you don't. That's the one thing I have up on
I have a pool.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Yeah. Oh you should have had Billy when I when
I bought my house and I had a pool, I
never had a pool. I was so excited because, oh yeah,
it's great. Until you put all this time and money
into it. No one swims in it. Oh yeah, they
throw parties, the kids have all their friends over, they
pee in the pool.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah yeah. And then when the kids get to a
certain days they have no interest in the pool. Then
you realize you built the pool. You dug up the
ground for nothing.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
My kids love the hot tub, like they'll have sixteen
kids in the hot tub.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So you could have just done a hot tub exactly
in a large backyard.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Although Bill, you did make a good point, you know,
you said, when you have all these kids over in
the pool for parties, no one ever asked to use
the bathroom. And you're so.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Right, because they're going why inconvenience themselves? It's actually cool
to pee in the pool.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Right, you know?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
So why not?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Remember when you I was a kid, they had that
that myth that it would change color if you pee.
Do you remember that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Do you guys? Do you guys do that? Do you what?

Speaker 4 (02:36):
I've never peed in a pool, o wire, No, no, no,
I really try not to pee. You have just I'm
not saying I haven't, but I try my best not to.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
Okay, yeah, pean a pool like the ocean.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
I have to say, I've never peed in the pool.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Really, most people happened, Billy, I've never known in the pool.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
You're a different the glass never peede, Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I guess you're beings? You dirty?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Oh? The topic?

Speaker 7 (03:05):
Time?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Have you ever peen in the pool? That was organic?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Wasn't it?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
All of a sudden? Topic time?

Speaker 5 (03:13):
Who's you have gone number two in the ocean? That
to me is way grosser.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
That was one of the most exciting moments of my
entire life.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I was very freeing.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
That was a level of freedom that I mean, as
long as you're sensitive to those around you. And if
you have to go anyway and you're in the middle
of the ocean on a boat, you know, you just
swim off into the distance and it's I gotta tell
you something. Boy, was that nice.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
If you can do that in the ocean, you can
pean a pool.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
No, very different thing, yeah, very different. I remember all
a fish feed off it.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Well, I remember because right after it happened, you with
Mike rocket Yeah, and he called me believe what Billy
just did.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Well, he does it every day.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
I'm like you, I don't need to know this. Mike
rock can't.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Oh god, he's a major pooper in the ocean.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Oh if you guys don't know, Billy's doing a Billy
Eat event with Mike Rockett.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Oh my god, it's on the thing.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I will never look at him the same again.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
The ocean, the ocean it.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Is, and it's constantly flowing.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
So don't cruise ships, don't poop into the ocean.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yes, as long as you're three miles out, I can
dump into the ocean, but I have never done it.
You can dump your waist tanks into the you gotta
be three months again. It's food for the marine loss.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Okay, I'm an issue because I peanut pool, but you
do that and it's okay.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Well, I'm really happy that the weather's going to be
great this weekend.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
So whatever you want to do, just get out and
enjoy it.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yeah, Lisa, you have a book club announcement.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Okay, so we just posted it's in Hertford.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
We talked about this last week a little bit with
Caroline Kepnis, who created the U series, which is literally
you know, dropping in about ten days on Netflix. The
event is May seventh in Hartford with our sister station
ninety five seven, Courtney and Kiss in the morning. So
it'll be me, it'll be Caroline Kepnis, Courtney and Savannah
hosting the book club at Farmington Gardens. It's a beautiful

(05:19):
spot six to eight. It's a Wednesday night. So if
you're like in the western part of you know, Massachusetts,
closer to the Connecticut border, come to the book club.
This is your moment because it's it's super easy, free parking.
We'll have ninety plus sellers, wines, flowing, some food, and
it'll be a nice, nice day.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yeah. Speaking of ninety plus sellers wine. Lisa and I
shared a glass of ninety plus sellers wine in the
office yesterday afternoon.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
We did It's Lisa's book Club one.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yes, yeah, I know I have you have your own wine, Yes,
we do.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
We're going to talk about that, yeah later, but yeah,
it's it's available now.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
You can now buy Lisa's book Club wine.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
And it's it goes to charity. It goes to raising
a reader a portion of the proceeds. It's naughty plus sellars.
It's a limited edition rose from the South of France.
It's fifteen dollars a bottle. It's absolutely delicious. You can
find it at Cappies or wherever, you know, whatever liquor
store you go to, you will be able to find it.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
You know. It's very cool about that. You're having people over,
you know, you serve the wine. This is coming from
the South of France, you know, and you sound really
knowledgeable about wine.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
And the label is from a Boston artist.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
The labels beautiful.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
It's really it's a limited edition Boston Rose. So I
know Curtis Liquors is selling it.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Capies and yeah, well you know what we say here
on the Billy and Lisa the Morning Show Rose all day. Yeah, yeah,
good for you. It's fun, right yeah, it's a beautiful bottle.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
What did Billy do in the water?

Speaker 8 (06:47):
Literally an aqua dump in the water.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Right, thank you, Thanks Mike, this behind us.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
This is fun a moment, It was a moment.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Okay. We're coming up on the entertainment. So the Female
Flight into Space is back on the ground. We're gonna
hear from Katy Perry, We'll hear from Gail King. We've
got that Neo, Mary J. Blige and Mario all did
the TV Garden last night. Neo stopped by the radio station.
We're gonna hear from Neo. Coming up. And don't forget.
We've got Jay Shetty. Okay, global bestselling author, fifty million followers.

(07:24):
We've got him on the show this morning at eight ten.
It's all coming up Sandbay from.

Speaker 9 (07:29):
The Planet Fitness, Kiss one Away Studios. We're back with
Villy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss one O
eight Now the entertainment update with a Billy godstep.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Okay, another reminder. Jay Shetty is going to be joining
us on the show this morning at eight ten.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
He's big let he has fifty million followers on social
and he has ten billion views of his Videosam.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Yep, and now he's really minute and he's on the
billion Lisa Morning Show this morning.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah, and I want to see how blue his eyes
really are.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
I'm like, yeah, right, it could get uncomfortable.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Don't make it weird, please.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
So Neo, Mary J. Blige, and Mario had their show
in the TV Garden last night. Neo stopped by the
Kiss Studios yesterday and sat down with mikey V and
Pop Dog. He talked about one of his big songs,
this song make Me Better Pustin Goodgether, That's a jam

(08:33):
and apparently he wrote that song about jay Z and
Beyonce's marriage.

Speaker 10 (08:39):
It was the first time I seen them together outside
of you know, outside of the world. They go outside.
One thing I love about jay Z and Beyonce in
public is that you see them together, like if you've
ever seen them at a at a party or anything,
you know, they walking together and then they split because
they understand that as a power couple, I have to
I have to, you know, express my power and she

(08:59):
has to express her power. You know, that's what makes
a power couple. The two of them are powerful separately,
and then they come together and become a force. So
like I'm looking at them like all right, and I'm
he's certainly a movement on his own, but with her
it's like vultron. So I wrote a for him. He
heard it, he dug it that night. But then a
couple of days later he called me and said, you

(09:19):
know what, with all due respect, this feels a little
bit more like an R and B song.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I'm gonna let you have it. There you go, they
talk about the elephant in the room.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Yeah, I think he did not ask about his stuff.
Poor girlfriends, all right, but he.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Was very open about it, so I'm sure he would
have answered.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yeah, they didn't got he didn't go there.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
So all four of them are considered number ones.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
Do they all travel with y'all all go out together?
Like all five of y'all?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, absolutely all the time. Now, who schedules?

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Like you know what I'm saying, is it a money schedule?

Speaker 10 (09:53):
Because I'm the busiest and I'm the one that always
got something to do, Like nine nights are random, it's random.
But I'll go all right, So for example, on this tour,
you know, I'll let this one come out for seven days,
then she go home. Then this will out for seven days,
and then this will come out for seven days, and
then we do something altogether.

Speaker 11 (10:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Yeah. He caught some flak this past week because he
revealed that the girlfriends are not allowed to date anybody else.
Oh but he still can what an arrangement.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yeah, they're fully evolved as a group. Yes, right, I
don't think I would be okay with that.

Speaker 5 (10:28):
They're all participating, they're all willing, pure But.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Again, they're they're fully evolved.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Seems like the ladies are well.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Isn't it ironic that he just talked about writing a
song about a strong relationship in one making the other
better and he's got four Yeah, maybe that makes them better.

Speaker 8 (10:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Anyway, you'll get the entire interview with the b Bros
Today between two and seven o'clock. Big announcement to Lisa's
book club today.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Lids Yeah, so go to my instagram Lisa Donovan one away,
we are doing a book club in Hartford. So Lisa's
Boklub is on the road. We're doing with ninety five
to seven our sister station down there. Courtney in the morning,
Courtney and Kissing in the Morning with Savannah and we're
bringing Caroline Kepnis, who created the U series on Netflix.
So the last season is dropping April twenty fourth.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
It's the perfect time. It's May seventh. The link is live.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
So if you live in the western part of the
state and you haven't been to a book club event,
this is an opportunity for you to go.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
It's free.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
It's at Farmington Gardens, which is a beautiful space. I
went down last week to visit and it's from six
to eight. Caroline will be there meeting everyone, telling stories
from the last season, and she has a new project
that has something to do with you that she will
announce at this book club.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Good timing. The new season of You kicks off in
a couple of weeks. Yep Wow April twenty fourth, all
Right Blue Origins, All female mission went up and it
came down yesterday, the flight lasting ten minutes twenty one seconds.
Gail King minutes after touching down to me, it's such.

Speaker 12 (11:52):
A reminder about how we need to do better, be better,
do better, be better human beings.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
It's so nasty and so.

Speaker 12 (11:59):
Bitry nowadays, and I mean, if everybody could experience that
peace that we had up there and the kindness and
what it takes to do what we did.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah, she kissed the ground as she exited the capsule.
Didn't Bezos fall in his face.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
He face planted. He was rushing to open the door
of the truck.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Imagine like if he landed on a face first on
a cactus. Katie Perry did sing up there in space.
She sang, what a wonderful world? Why that song?

Speaker 1 (12:31):
It's not about me, It's not about singing my songs.

Speaker 13 (12:34):
It's about a collective.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Energy in there. It's about us.

Speaker 13 (12:38):
It's about making space for future women and taking up
space and belonging, and it's about this wonderful world that
we see right out there and appreciating it.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
This is all for the benefit of Earth. Katy Perry
is an embarrassment to women. It's the mathematics.

Speaker 7 (12:58):
That's all I have to say.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Oh wow, and then there's that oh wow.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Yeah, she says, we all need to embrace the unknown.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
This isn't for me.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Yeah, at least you want to share with the what
Wendy's tweeted.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yeah, so we didn't know if this was real or fake,
but we think it's real. So Wendy's yesterday a picture
of Katie Perry and said can we send her back?
Kasha posted herself holding a Wendy's drink with the same thing.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Oh boy, so they're just trolling all the leaders.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Well they had to see that coming up.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Probably.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah, Drake is definitely coming out with the new album.
He's calling it.

Speaker 14 (13:36):
A slap working on a new album right now. It's
a what slap already solo album. Yeah, And then shout
out to everybody that that's been showing.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Us love though for real, well not everybody has, not
so much Kendrick.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
But he also tells a Dana White story, Dana famous
for his legendary tipping.

Speaker 7 (13:59):
Here.

Speaker 14 (13:59):
I remember I saw Dana White tip this girl who
was just like super engaged with him at the bar,
just like you know, like just being a great, just
just being a great, like human being of service at
the end that moment. And Dana White, this is years ago,
like probably two thousand fourteen, he tipped this girl fifteen

(14:20):
K because she was like, I want to be a
photographer and he said, well fifteen k sh she get
you every everything that you would want and she floored.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
So shout out to Dana White.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
That was one of the best things I've ever seen
ever since. Then I tipped crazy.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yeah, yeah, he's a legendary tip or actually your son, Chris.
Chris Costa is friends with Dana White, oh yeah, and
has spent some time with him when he's come to Boston,
and he mentioned that going everywhere he goes, Dana tips.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Wow, yeah too, bet it never came to your restaurant down.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
I was just thinking that, I know, Oh my god,
some walking around money right here.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
I need to go back to serving latest on the
Minecraft madness out there. Jack black Black, who was in
the movie, stopped by a screening. He was making pre
movie announcements about not making a mess, and it took
the audience quite a while to realize, Hey, that's Jack Blackert.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Of the Minecraft movie. Please no throwing pulps corn and also.

Speaker 15 (15:18):
No lackness alzutaly and also absolutely no shit.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
That's so cool.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Well, the Bruins have their final game tonight and then
they clean out the lockers. That's always a sad day.
It seems to come sooner every year for the Beasts.
Celts are waiting for the playoffs. This weekend. They'll play
the winner of tonight's game between the Hawks and the
Magic Red Sox lost sixteen to one to the Rais.
What a mess that game was. The Socks had fourteen

(15:56):
strikeouts in the game. Manager Alex Gore is a.

Speaker 16 (15:59):
Team that was for the other one. The on one
wasn't prepared for them. No, and that goes from top
all the way to the bottom. You know, that wasn't
a good night for us, And I'll take the blame,
you know, because it seemed like our team wasn't ready
to go.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Yeah, another season of listening to Alex Quorra after every loss,
same statement.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Yeah, I love him. I actually like him too, but
like I think he's getting like off on the fact
that he won originally, like his first season he won.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
The World Series.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Well you know what I mean, a lot of people
would have been fired by now.

Speaker 12 (16:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yeah, I think I have a little crush on Alex Cora.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Yeah, that's understandable.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
As expected. Paige Beckers went first in the WNBA draft.
She went to Dallas.

Speaker 16 (16:43):
Ups and downs, the everything, the relationships, experiences, the bonds
that I built, I've just it's just been amazing and
I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
So to be where my feet are tonight.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
To share this moment with the people that I love
just means everything.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Dallas Wings Yep, good for her. You go girl, You
go girl. Yeah, Lisa, your Savannah Bananas are coming back
to Fenway July fifth. And they got some good news.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Okay, so none of us got tickets.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Okay, So there's an announcement April through August for their games.
They're ten games ESPN ESPN two along with Disney Plus
and ESPN Plus will carry all of the games. So
that's big news. So at least we can watch all
of the frivolity.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Yeah, and they'll carry the game at Fenway July fifth.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Yeah, it's awesome.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Wow, we're on vacation July fifth.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
I think you are.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Field trip to Fenway billion. You're not going to be here.
We're brought to you by the ninety nine Restaurant, and
why not. You can celebrate Easter this Saturday and Sunday
at the ninety nine Restaurant enjoyed delicious menu specials like
pan roasted lemon, caper swordfish. Are you kidding me? They're famous,
colossal lobster rolls or primary dinner, Gotta love the Nines

(17:55):
And there you go.

Speaker 11 (17:56):
How a bunch of millionaires going into space reminds her
to you better or be better? How about taking that
money and actually doing good with it for the people
on Earth who are struggling and trying to make ends meet.
This is ridiculous.

Speaker 9 (18:13):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one Await Studios, we're back
with a Villy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss
one O.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Wait, hey guys, so welcome back. And this is no joke.
This is so cool. We're actually giving away a car at.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Least, I know this is huge news.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
I mean a free car.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
And it's a.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Really beautiful car. It's a Hyundai and it's like futuristic looking.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
It's gorgeous.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
And thanks to our friends at the government, they're always there.
They're giving us the car so we can give it away.
So and it's real easy too. All you have to
do first and foremost justin they should pay attention all
the time to Kiss one to wait right.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
The Instagram page is where you enter. It's the pinpost
right at the top there, that's where you enter.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
And it's such a small effort and such a big
prize for God's sakes. Uh So I'm gonna call out
a name and that person has fifteen minutes to get
back to us, and if they get back to us
in fifteen minutes, they get a qualifying prize. Immediately they do.

(19:37):

Speaker 4 (19:37):
That's it. You gotta be lean minutes.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Six one seventy nine is the number to call within
fifteen minutes.

the Road, Gracie Abrams, Tate McCrae, Hozier, Teddy Swims, Cold Play, Yep,
Wow and The Weekend and Post Malone. All of those

(20:33):
fifteen minutes. In the meantime, you've got a big book
Club announcement least, all.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Right, So the book Club is headed to Hartford. We're
going on the road and it's May seventh at Farmington Gardens,
beautiful event space with Caroline Kabnis, who created the U series.
The U series is dropping its fifth and final season
April twenty fourth on Netflix, so it's perfect timing to
have Carolyn come back and she's going to be there.
You can meet her if you're a big fan of

(20:56):
the U series, if you read her books. May seventh.
The link is live on my Instagram. Lisa Donovan one O. Wait,
we're doing with our sister station down there. Ninety five
point seven Courtney and Kiss in the Morning with Savannah.
So it'll be the four of us on stage and
talking about the books and talking about the show. I
will say that Caroline has something planned around the U
series and she's going to give us details at the event.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Also you'll get breaking news a new project.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Yes, And she's just very cool. She lives in LA
She's like friends with so many different celebrities. We always
have such a great conversation with her.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
And I love that the book club has gotten so big.
You're already taking.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
It on the road.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Well, it's because of ninety plus sellers. They're are lead
sponsor or presenting sponsor, I should say. And yeah, so
it's there. We're gonna be drinking ninety plus sellers wines
in Hartford.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
So and the.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Hartford is really a hopskip in a jump and it's
pretty cool town.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
It's honest. I this is a weird fact about me.
I do a day trip there like once a year.
They have the West Farm Mall, which is a great mall.
They have this is really good foot spot place I
go and get my foot Oh my feet rubbs. I
think it's called Green Spot. Bracos a really good Italian
Place in West Hartford. It's like if you're on the
Cell shore the self, you know, south coast, it's only
like an hour hour and a half morning on where

(22:07):
you are right down ninety five. It's like the perfect
day trip. There's so much fun things to do, great food,
like I highly recommend going.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Plus if you live in like Framingham, Nateeck, like out
that way on the pike and then you hit eighty four.
It's a quick forty five minute trip. And if you've
never been to a book club, this is your opportunity.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
Wow, and on a beautiful venue, which traffic it's going
to take you just as wanting to get to Boston's
around here.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
I'm telling you it does. It's like it's so true.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Okay, I think we have to go to the phones. Right,
We've got Caitlin on the phone. Good morning, Caitlyn, Good morning, Caitlyn.
I need to ask are you at Chanafant thirteen?

Speaker 7 (22:46):
I am, It's Caitlyn Hannifin Hannafin.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
Oh my goodness. Well, Caitlin, First and foremost, you do qualify,
which means that you're getting tickets immediately to what show is.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Kate McCrae at the garden on October seventeenth.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
How you do so far?

Speaker 7 (23:00):
Case, I'm so excited because my window just broke yesterday, well,
a couple.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Of weeks ago, so that's perfect timing for you.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
How did your window break?

Speaker 12 (23:10):
I have no idea.

Speaker 7 (23:11):
I was driving down the highway and it so yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Oh yeah, okay. Well, the good news is you've got
concert tickets, and the even better news is you're qualified
now for a free car. Tell her about the car list.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Okay, it's from mc governor Auto Group and it's a
new Hyundai Centa fe It's gorgeous.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 18 (23:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
What are you driving now, Kaitlyn?

Speaker 7 (23:33):
Currently my dad's car.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Oh god, Dad is as happy as you are.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
Dad's over the moon.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Caitlyn, hold on, okay, and producer Riley will give you
all your instructions. Do not hang up.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
Awesome, okay, thank you?

Speaker 2 (23:49):
All right?

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Wow? Okay, well two tens your next shot. So if
you have not entered, go to the kids Instagram, follow
the directions there, enter and at two ten they'll call
the next U. So it's April fifteenth, it's tax day
and filed an extension. You have until midnight to follow
your taxes. But we have a crazy list of the
craziest tax deductions that people can make that you might

(24:12):
not be aware of just saying good morning, guys.

Speaker 14 (24:15):
The craziest thing I ever tried to write off in
my tax is with the box instead of dieting playbooks.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
I couldn't get it up a billy. I guess what.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
It didn't work.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
That's text on kids kiss.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Okay, so we got to talking. By the way, it
is one Boston Day today. Keep that in mind and
try to remember, you know, the families, the victims and
the first responders. Don't forget the marathon Monday. But the
bombing was insane.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
It was horrific. We will never forget it.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
So many people's lives were affected permanently by the marathon bombing.
So it is one Boston Day, just you know, you know,
they're asking that everybody be kind throughout the day today
and again there will be a memorial of shorts down
on Boylston Street just after ten o'clock. I think it
starts to tenh three. But it's also tax day and
the rule is that you're supposed to get your returns

(25:06):
in by midnight tonight. And it got us to thinking
about this list that you Foundly, it's all the strange
and weird deductions.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
It's weird tax deductions that are actually legal. Okay, So
I'm going to start with the first one because it
has to do with justin.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Let me get a pen here.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
So I consider you a friend and I think you're
the only person I know who's like a bodybuilder.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
I mean you really are, Like you're in the gym
all the time, lifting weights.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Well, if you use body oil, you can deduct body oil.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
But I think you have to be a professional bodybuilder.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
I'm not competing.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Okay, Well, if you were, maybe in the future you
can actually deduct that, which I thought was really weird.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Yeah, he just oils up for pleasure.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Right, You can deduct justin a swimming pool if you
get a doctor to say that you need it for
water through.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Great, now he's going to pool.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
I did write off my sauna. Okay, I just got
a sauna.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
How do you do that?

Speaker 4 (26:08):
Well, because it's therapy, you know, y therapy.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Sauna is therapeutic, right, and the pool can be as well.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
I didn't know that either. Another weird one is clarinet lessons.
So if you have a son or daughter and they
play an instrument, you can get a doctor to actually
say that it's good for someone with an overbyte.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Oh my god, that is weird. Does it have to
be a clarinet? Can it be any read introment?

Speaker 3 (26:35):
It could probably be any read instrument, like an obo,
right exactly, so it will help with it over and
all that kind of stuff. Another one is the.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
Overvide is getting better. I can see it.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
Another one again would be like, if you're in this
type of business, but breast implants.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Wait a minute, what business does that require breast implants?

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Well, if you're an exotic dancer.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
You can write off your yes, fake boo.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
That's what this list is saying. It's a business success
cosmetic surgery. If you are in a business, in the
entertainment business and you have to look a certain way,
there are some cosmetic procedures that you could write off.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Oh, Bill, you can run off your boatox.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Okay, I haven't had both talks in years, but but
I happen to be on television.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
So anything that you do, do you do anything to
your face? Not lately, doesn't Michelle use certain creams or creams. Yeah,
she gets very expensive cream at least would that count
for Bill?

Speaker 3 (27:34):
I don't know if the creams would count. But if
you had any type of surgery for your TV show.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
You might be able to facelift.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Well maybe I should do it so that I can
deduct it.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
Sure, Yeah, I would probably just talk to your accountant
first before.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
You go through it. Diversity in the hospital right now.
But listen, here's the deal. There's legal when it comes
to deductions, but then there are red right, because that's
what I always hear from the accountant, Like if you
say you want to deduct a certain thing and say, okay,
you really want to throw that red flag in there,
because the red flag can trigger an audit.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
Yes, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
You don't want them saying, you know, questioning anything on
your deduction list.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
Well you can. The thing is is you can lie,
yeah and say whatever you want. Sure, But that's why
they have IRS agents that go through everything and then
you get audited, which isn't Yeah, well.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
It's like I have a small business, so I have
a lot of deductions. You know, when I go out
shooting TV, I probably park in three different parking garages
every day.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
I shoot.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
At the end of the day, it gets expensive. At
the end of the week, it gets even more expensive.
So things like that I deduct for sure. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
I did save all my receipts the last couple of years,
medical receipts, things like that.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, for proof. And you don't even need the receipts.
Just use your credit card statement.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
If you're a big gambler out there, I guess gambling
winnings are taxable, but you can deduct your gambling losses
up to the amount of your of the winnings.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Wow, that seems wrong.

Speaker 18 (28:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
That's what this Isn't that why they call gambling? You win,
you lose.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
I'm just saying, well, you know you write it off.
It disappears, right.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
That's a rite off.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
That's a write off. Do you even know what a
write off is?

Speaker 4 (29:11):
Yeah, it's when you buy something for your business and
the government pays you back for it. Oh and who
pays for it? Nobody?

Speaker 2 (29:19):
You write it off? Who writes it off?

Speaker 4 (29:22):
I don't know the government?

Speaker 2 (29:23):
The right off people? Oh, I love this. We could
get some ideas from this topic. Because topic time is next.
It is tax day. Okay, you have any crazy deductions.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Or have you not done your taxes yet?

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Yeah? And from what I hear, there's a report out
that say very few people have, right. But anyways, six
one seven is the number to call, but they can
also send a talk back justin.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
Yeah, you do that in the iHeartRadio app. You can
download it. It's one free and you listen into the
Billion Lisa Show. Just press that microphone button. You record
it right into your phone. It's like magic.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Are you one of the right off people? Give us
a call six one seven nine.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
Eight.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
It's topic time.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Next time.

Speaker 9 (30:08):
Now, it's topic time for the Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
It's topic time. It's also tax day, and it got
us talking about this weird list that came out about
just weird things you can deduct on your taxes that
we weren't aware of, especially just in the weightlifter. You
can deduct your body. We'll do it.

Speaker 4 (30:26):
I did deduct some gym stuff that I bought this year.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Really, you know, you know what's interesting, you know, like
outfits that we wear for like kiss concert, you know whatever,
like jingle You cannot deduct those.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
It's funny you say that because years ago I was
able to deduct wardrobe for TV. You can't do that.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
You can't because they argue that you can wear it
to something else only if you are buying clothes like
gym clothes that you wouldn't normally wear for an event.
Like if I had to buy like an outfit, I
could deduct that.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Interesting, right, The pool one you gave was interesting. Have
a pool? I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
I didn't know that either.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
What are you writing off from the pool?

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Having a pool?

Speaker 1 (31:05):
The cost like aqua therapy?

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah, oh, if you can prove that you need aqua therapy.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Yeah I don't.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
If it's just a recreational pool, No, you can't write
it off that. You know what that is a red flag?

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Well you're not.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
You're not going to call you on it and say,
I don't understand what you need with the pool.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
This is a man that's been added more than one.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Well, you have to have a doctor's I mean you
have to have a doctor prescribe it for you.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Yeah, okay, thank you.

Speaker 8 (31:30):
Although theirs is a thankless business, employees of the Internal
Revenue Service take great pains to see that you pay
no more than your share. They work, however, in the
knowledge that for your taxes. You are getting value received
public works, justice, progress, education, and freedom. That is a
bargain in history.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
American citizenship biggest bargain in history. That is true. You
get a lot in return for your taxes.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
Okay, yeah, what, okay, I'm sorry, I'm single with no kids.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
Well you don't own too. You can win your monthly rent.

Speaker 18 (32:06):
Good, I'm doing a tax right off that. Not a
lot of people I think know is you can actually
write off your monthly rent. I don't know if it's
for everybody, but this is my second year doing it,
and yeah, you just put in if you send a
rent monthly to a landlord, you'll be able to get
a percentage of that back, which is pretty amazing.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Did you do that?

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Of course I didn't.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
But you can only write off up to like seven
thousand dollars. I'm paying thirty thousand dollars in rent.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
Some day they're not giving you your rent back, I know.

Speaker 5 (32:36):
But I'm saying I'm doing it. I'm doing it every whatever.
I'm doing the most, and I think I get back
like two hundred bucks.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yeah, but you still it all adds up?

Speaker 5 (32:43):
Yeah, no, yeah, do it? Oh yeah, but like you're
not cann get rich off your rent right off.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
I'm playing that. You know.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Well, they have gotten more strict on the deductions. Like
a long time ago, you could write off if you had,
you would write off I have an office in the house,
but then you had to really that you're using it
as an office and you don't have another office to
work from.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
My wife works from home, and we had to do that.
She had to prove that she does. Another big one
you have to be careful about is crypto. I really
cracked it cracked down on crypto. If you pull the
money out, if you buy cryptocurrency bitcoin and you take
money out from your winnings, you have to write that.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Off, right it's a it's cash received.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Yeah no, but they're really really cracking down on that,
so be aware of that.

Speaker 16 (33:27):
So there's an episode of The Sopranos where David Lee
Roth is there playing CODs with the guys and he
says that he used to be able to write off condoms.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
I wonder how true that.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
Is if you're a film star, an adult film star,
or because you probably could exactly.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
I used to be able to write off condoms.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yeah, that's a legitimate deduction if you're a porn star
and that's what you do for a living.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
Well, it's like the breast implants if you're an exotic dancer.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
It so if you're old dancer, can you write off
the pole?

Speaker 5 (34:02):
Well, no, that's provided by the place.

Speaker 17 (34:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
I don't think you bring your pull to work, but
if you.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Had one at home, you probably.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
If you're an instructor, a pole dance instructor at home,
absolutely all right.

Speaker 11 (34:11):
So I was good this year and filed our taxes
in March thirty first.

Speaker 19 (34:15):
Last weekend, I got a letter from the mass Department
of Revenue letting me know that we didn't claim all
of our gambling winnings.

Speaker 17 (34:21):
I don't have any gambling winnings, so I asked.

Speaker 19 (34:23):
My husband and it turns out that he won money
on a scratch ticket and didn't tell me about it,
which is fine. We keep our money separate, that's his business.
But he didn't realize that it needed to go on.

Speaker 11 (34:34):
Our tax return.

Speaker 19 (34:35):
And I guess it explains where those new golf clubs
came from last year.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
I can't believe he didn't tell her.

Speaker 5 (34:41):
If we had to file taxes together, legally, you should
be telling me if you win the water.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
I think so, so he'll go to jail. And that
was a big scratch ticket.

Speaker 5 (34:49):
Yeah, it was at least over six hundred dollars. It
had be taxable.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
I can't believe he's kept it from her.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
One time I hit two thousand at Encore and the
game came out and take my Social Security And I
was like all happy and making jokes like oh, this
is when you run my name and if I don't
pay my child support, you're going to take my money.
And so then he came back and he said, sir,
we're taking one thousand dollars because of back child support.
And then I was like, what, we know, what are

(35:16):
you talking about? And so I ended up calling and
it was taxes. I owed. Yeah, ah, they take it
for either taxes or if you owe child support. So yeah,
look like an idiot.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Oh boy, there are so many different deductions. Again, you
just have to be careful because you know, I mean,
getting on it. It is fine. I mean as as
long as you're doing everything right. So it's a lot
of work.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
Yeah, yeah, it is.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
A lot of work.

Speaker 7 (35:39):
Yeah, good morning, guys. I haven't done my taxes yet,
but you know, driving in to work, and I had
a box. Why can't I claim my dog as a dependent?
He's freaking expensive.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
I think you can write off certain amounts of like
dog and cat food based on if you own a
business that has something to do with that. Again, it
has to make sense.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
Yeah, and across the board, you can write off a
percentage of pretty much everything. Like if you're using your
car to go to and from work or using your
car for work, you get to write off certain percentage
of your insurance, a certain percentage of the expenses your
repairs on the car. Yeah, I mean it's a lot
of work doing them and getting them back.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Did you do your taxes? Yes? I have.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
All of my information is at my accountant's office. Unfortunately,
he's in the hospital.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Is he okay?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Yeah he seems to be.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
But yeah, Billy's annoyed about that.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
That he's he's like the fault. Oh is he okay?
He's okay? Okay, good, that's all that matters. What's it
like to sit next to her?

Speaker 5 (36:42):
It's a good time.

Speaker 6 (36:43):
How I know it's tax day every years because it's
my big sister's birthday. Just not to test your SoundBite skills,
but if you can find the New Kids Happy Birthday
song and play it for my big sister Becca, Happy
birthday back.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
I love you, Happy Birthday back. I'd be going the
vault from that.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
I didn't know. I didn't know they did they do
that one.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
They were young.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
You weren't there for that book, the birthday everything else.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
They were actually singing it to me.

Speaker 16 (37:19):
Just a correction some of us to actually bring our
polls to the script club.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Do I get to write that off?

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Okay, I think we're going to wrap up this time.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
Today. I think we need to transition to some chapel
Roma is Pinkney Club, Kiss and Lisa.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
Well, justin looking back at the seven o'clock hour, we
had our first winner, our first qualifier for the free car.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
Yeah, big shout out to Caitlyn. She want to take
mccraye tickets, qualifying for our brand new Hyundai Santa Fe.
Thanks to Kiss want to Wait and mcgovernent Auto. And
you know what, it couldn't couldn't have come at a
better time.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
I'm so excited because my window just broke.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
How did your window break?

Speaker 7 (38:02):
I have no idea. I was driving down the highway
and it felt well.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
She could have a brand new window or windows I should.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Say yeah, And she's been driving Dad's car, so he's
happy too.

Speaker 4 (38:12):
Yeah, so listen, this is the deal. Caitlin was listening
at seven ten when we called her name out her username,
she entered like you can on the kiss Instagram. Just
follow the directions they're all listed. Enter listen win seven ten,
two ten, four ten. We understand you're not always in
your car or near a radio, and that's why we
have the iHeartRadio app. You could take us with you

(38:32):
anywhere you go. You download it. It's free, so make
sure you are listening. It's very important. So two ten
is your next shot. Also, this morning weird start of
the show U we we're talking about Billy, you know,
going number two in the ocean. You know he also,
you know, went number two in a parking lot. I
don't know what's going on with Bill, but you know what,
he won't pee in the pool.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
That's where he draws the line.

Speaker 4 (38:54):
That's where he draws the line. So Billy, let me
get this straight. You've pooped in a parking lot, You've
ooped in the ocean, but you're telling me you haven't
peed in a pool.

Speaker 5 (39:04):
Come on, yeah, Okay, my point.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
That's my point.

Speaker 15 (39:07):
The parking lot was a medical emergency, and the ocean
was just a freeing moment. As you say, more than
you can ever imagine until you've done it. But again,
you don't do it around people. You swim out, you know.

Speaker 5 (39:21):
It's nature's po day.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Yes, okay, all right, very nice.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (39:25):

in which he I've never heard of in.

Speaker 11 (39:30):
My life of anyone doing that.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
But I just need to.

Speaker 11 (39:33):

that is troubling to me.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Okay, First of all, I blame my friend Mike Rockett
justin you know him, Lisa, you know him. He wouldn't
let it go. He kept talking me into it, talking
me into it. You have to do it. It's such
an experience and.

Speaker 4 (40:12):
You did it. You loved it. Yes, it's fine man,
We just move.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
On the floats is all floating off?

Speaker 5 (40:17):
Oh my god, all right off.

Speaker 8 (40:18):
