Speaker 1 (00:00):
And the Billy and Lisa Morning show studio right now
is packed with all kinds of ice cream from ice
cream makers all over New England. That's because the annual
Scooper Bowl is happening tomorrow. It starts tomorrow through Thursday.
And Jerry's here from Ben and Jerry's. We wait for
this every year. Jerry, welcome back.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
You like it because I bring ice cream.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Happen to be a nice guy by the way. You
do great hugs, legendary hugs. But yeah, it's always great
to see.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
It's a funny thing being Jerry from Ben and Jerry's
is because people just expect you're going to bring ice
cream or.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Is that the same in your personal life? If you
go to somebody's house, they expect you're bringing ice cream.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I have a freezer in my house that generally has
about thirty pints of Ben and Jerry's in it.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Wowl time at all times. I never know.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
The bad thing is I eat most of it, of course, so.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
This is amazing. Last night my wife broke out a
container of ice cream. Now we don't eat ice cream
a whole lot, but I'm like, oh, I have an
ice cream The Weather's coming in this week and it
was Van Lewin. Van Lewin, Yeah, and so I had
a couple of bites whether and it was a pistachio
and it was fine.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
But it's not Ben and Jerry's pistachio.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I just want to go out there and say it
because your pistachio pistachio is mind blowing.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Well, thank you. But Van Lewin has great products and
they are at the Jimmy Fun scuper Bowl for the
first time this year. There's going to be sixteen different
ice creams at the scuper Bowl.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Now, that's the biggest ever, right.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Biggest ever. Plus there's an extra one Krem de Lecoeur
on Adult Night.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
What happens during Adult Night is that.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
It's called Night. It's on Thursday from five to eight,
and so there's Krem de Lecoeur. There's four breweries. You
get two beverages when you're there, and the Krem de
Lacueur is either sorbet that's infused with liqueur or frozen custard.

(01:58):
So it's an extra special thing. You can go to
the scuper Bowl regular on Thursday and then cap it
off with Scoop at.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Night and it's gonna be like ninety degrees on Thursday.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yes, it's gonna be great.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Now, how do you qualify for adult Night?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I think you need to say yeah. But you know,
as you said, it's it's gonna be the greatest scuper
Bowl ever. It's the most ice creams there. The weather's
going to be incredible. Can I tell you all the
ice creams that.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Are gonna be there for you?

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Do?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I just want to say, I don't think the weather
and the scuper Bowl have aligned this well ever, Like
the weather's gonna be perfect ice cream.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I think it's because of you guys, not just Ben
and Jerry's. We've got Brigham's, a long time supporter, Krem
del licoraz I mentioned Edies, Friendlies, local guys, hagandas Holy
Cow from Gloucester Hood. Local guys, Johnny Pops their first
year it's organic ice pops.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
And we've got somebody here who's a ye yeah, Lactade.
They've been here. Lizzie's ice Cream first year for them,
they're from Waltham. Lucky Day their first year, their non dairy.
They're local. Also, McConnell's from Santa Barbara, California. Wow, Malona
from South Korea. They've got this honeydew ice cream that

(03:20):
is unbelieved.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Have South Koreans flying in for the Scooper Bowl. I
think their ice cream is fing Jerry, come on, it's
a radio show.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Philadelphia water ice their first year, Tillamook from Oregon. They're exploding,
and then Van Lewin uh So and everybody brings I
don't know, four or five flavors. There's sorbet, there's non dairy,
there's ice cream, you name it. You are gonna love it.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Justin, You're gonna love this because Friendlies is of course
back again for the scuper Bowl and they've got superhero
ice cream son Abel.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Oh yeah, I'd love that for Justin. It's for his son.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
I just killed one. Yeah, it's like blue ice cream
and now ice cream with is really like a candy
coated corunch.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
So fun fact, Jerry, I worked at Friendlies for years
and went to the scuper Bowl with Friendlies and worked it.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
That's great. Now I have a question for you. People
often ask me, do you ever get tired of eating
ice cream after you work at an ice cream place?

Speaker 3 (04:20):
No, that's exactly did you have ice cream last night?
I need to know, I have.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Ice cream on a very regular basis.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Do you have a favorite flavor?

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I do American Dream, which is vanilla ice cream with
a caramel swirl fudge covered pieces of waffle cool.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
The other thing people often ask me is do I
eat other ice creams beyond Ben and Jerry's. And I
love ice cream. I typically eat Ben and Jerri's because
I like it and I get it for free. So
if one of these wonderful companies wants to provide maybe
ice cream on a regular.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Show up any time of any day and just grab
ice cream whenever you want.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Ice cream, so be. Ben's been promoting ice cream for
breakfast for many years. He claims that it's at least
as nutritious as sugar, cereal and milk, which might be
a low bar.

Speaker 8 (05:18):
But.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, if I had the choice, I'd go with the
ice cream every single time.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, it's good. It's got dairy in it, it's got protein,
it's got whatever you know, vitamin's, vitamin K.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
And we haven't really mentioned. One of the other stars
of the show is that research at Data Farber Cancer Research.
All the money goes there, which is.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
That it's all about so you know, all these ice
cream companies get together, they donate all their ice cream
so that people who pay their money, all the money
goes to the Jimmy Fund and the cancer of the
Dana Farber Cancer Institute. And that's you know, that's really
what it's about. We talk about ice cream, we talk
about having fun, whatever, but it's really about community. All

(05:59):
of us have been touched by people that have cancer,
and anything we can do that that can help that
along we want to be able to do.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Now, I go back far enough with the event that
I remember live cows being there. Do you still have,
like at least a live cow.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
We we don't. So that was that was in the
old old days. The scuper Bowl at that point was
part of the Dairy Festival, Yes, and it was on
Boston Common and they would used to bring school groups
in and they would go over and milk a cow
and whatever. Yeah, and they had.

Speaker 9 (06:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, that what a great memory that.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Yeah, it's really you haven't really lived life until you
have held on one.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
And you don't really see that many cows on Boston Common.
It's really not that frequent a site, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
How did you get into ice cream.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
So Ben and I are friends from seventh grade. We
met in gym class in seventh grade because we were
the two slowest, fattest.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Kids in my class.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
And you know, we went through school and Ben dropped
out of a bunch of colleges. He was trying to
make pottery and nobody would buy his pottery. I was
trying to get into medical school. Never got into medical school.
So we were failing at everything, and we thought, why
don't we just try to do something fun and be
our own bosses. And we always liked to eat, as

(07:28):
you could imagine, and we just picked homemade ice cream.
Didn't know anything about it. We learned from a correspondence
course from Penn State. This is like in nineteen seventy eight,
we opened up in Burlington, Vermont, in an abandoned gas station,
and you know, so no ice cream experience, no business experience,

(07:49):
and we thought we would do it for a couple
of years and then move on to something else. You know,
we talked about becoming cross country truck drivers together.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Well you really skated over a lot of ideas.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
You know, we never thought about this as a long
term career. And you know, so people who knew us
growing up and even starting. They're they're as shocked as
we are that Ben and Jerry's has become what it is.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
But you know what's interesting though, because there's a big
likeness when it comes to ice cream and people who
are now in.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
The brewing business.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Because most of those guys, the big ones like Trillium
and ever, they'll say it all started with an at
home brewing kit because they were doing it in college. Yeah,
and they made it their life, which is similar to
what you and Ben did.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Yeah, it's very much so. And you know the brewers,
as I mentioned it for Scoop at Night, there's going
to be four breweries there.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
So who have you got?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Harpoon, Athletic. I can't remember the other ones, but it's
going to be great. I mean, people don't often think
about mixing beer with ice cream.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, but it works.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
It worked, That's exactly right.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
You know what a bucket and a brew an adult night?

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Now again, is there a website people can go for
all the details they need to do before they get there.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
I'll bet it is scuper bowl dot com. I mean,
I don't know. I think if you google it, you're.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
You're gonna find and tickets start at fifteen dollars.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Fifteen dollars for kids, twenty bucks for adults. Kids under
five free that you want to find some nice under five.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Year old there you go, bring the whole neighborhood.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, and you eat.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
All you want all you want to keep walking around
eating more ice cream.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
I recommend people hold on to their spoons as you
go from one vendor to the next.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah, that's a good tip.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yeah, I got all the good tips.

Speaker 8 (09:36):
You know.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
I've been doing this.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
And you have great hugs. Can we have a hug
on the way out too, all? Okay, Jerry, always good
to see you. We'll see at the scuper Bowl. It
starts tomorrow, Austin.

Speaker 10 (09:47):
It's Meghan Trainer and you're working up with Billy and
Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Want to wait, Hi, Lisa, Hey.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Megan, Megan Trainer right there, Lisa.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Yeah, she was fine at jingle Ball. We had a
good time.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah, she's really cool. I like her. She's a lot
of fun.

Speaker 11 (10:02):
Yeah shets by the way. I won't know what that
costs them.

Speaker 12 (10:05):
Oh whoa, Okay, that's a good get. Justin.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
You want to get a talk back in or two?

Speaker 7 (10:13):
Yes, thank you very much. O. We're running a little
bit late. I'll just do it this one really quickly.

Speaker 12 (10:16):
Hi, Morning Show. We just turned on the radio to
hear I Lose control. And I said to my daughter like, oh,
it's Whinnie song. And she was like, what what do
you mean? It's Whinnie song? And we listened to other times.
I'm like, how do you not know? Can you play
the clip of Winnie playing singing her favorite song?

Speaker 13 (10:37):
No?

Speaker 7 (10:37):
I never want to hear that again, ever, ever, ever,
this is the last time. This is the last time
lose come true.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
I got to go.

Speaker 14 (10:48):
Now.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
The entertainment update with the Billy Codstead to.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Live Theater again.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
He was at the stage Friday night.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Mikey was out there hanging out with him. Right, yep, absolutely,
it's my guy, Mikey V. What's up anyway? The big
Netflix event to air this weekend. There it is right
there and it was action packs, celebrity packed, the primary focus,

(11:18):
what's coming to Netflix, teasers, trailers, everything. It was kind
of an interesting thing to watch, Lise.

Speaker 10 (11:24):
It was, and I'm glad they made it a live event.
But we now know when Stranger Things is coming out,
It's not this summer. It's at the end of this year,
November twenty sixth in three parts, right, and then December
twenty fifth, Christmas Day, and then New Year's Eve wowly.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Wow okay, and the third and final season of Squid Game. Now,
didn't you watch the first season of Scool?

Speaker 4 (11:43):
I watched it and then I couldn't watch it anymore.

Speaker 14 (11:45):
It is.

Speaker 10 (11:46):
It is a terrifying series. It was really tough to watch.
Right before bed.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
My son wants to watch it, but.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Oh no, you cannot know.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
No, we're not.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
It's so violent.

Speaker 7 (11:55):
They have a challenge one that's more kid friendly. They
don't actually kill the contestants paintballs at them. But we're not.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Watching is different up there? And hap sure too.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
By the way, I want him to go back to
Stranger Things really quickly. So my son, you know, obviously,
you know he thinks his dad's cool, but does he really,
I don't know. Started watching Stranger Things. He's obsessed. He
watches it over and over again. And the fact that
I met Joke, we met Joe Carey. He was from Newbery,
what he played, you know, he's on Stranger Things. My
son can't get over. I think it's the coolest thing.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
It is very cool, Steve.

Speaker 7 (12:25):
Steve, you can.

Speaker 11 (12:27):
Tell Jimmy Kay from the reality show of the Squid Games.

Speaker 6 (12:31):
Maybe that.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
All right? Yeah, that's right, the farm guy. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Anyway, third and final season Squid Game starts June twenty seventh. Also,
the new season of Wednesday comes out in two parts
August sixth and September third. Lady Got God is going
to be in the new season of Wednesday. She performed
last night the drama when Lady Gaga performed.

Speaker 10 (13:11):
He's perfect sense though, like she'll be great on that show,
and Jenna Ortago is there.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
I watched it with Riley.

Speaker 10 (13:16):
I loved it. I never thought I would like it.
I watched the whole thing, loved it.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
And wasn't Lady gagat performing last night? Wasn't she dressed
in the character that she'll play on the show. Yes, God,
you gotta give it to Lady Gagah. She doesn't miss
a step.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
And Netflix, right, I know.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yeah, And the cast of Happy Gilmore too, including Adam Sandler,
was there and the new trailer drop my name is.

Speaker 6 (13:40):
Happy Gilmore thirty years ago.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
I decided to give gotha try. But even when you're
at the top.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Of your game. You can always shank one. The happy up,
happy Gilmore, he is breaking in.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
We had another caddy you just met, Happy Gilmore didn't
have things slowing on the first golf fall. It's going
to pull in huge numbers. I think the happy get
more to Everybody.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Loves that first.

Speaker 10 (14:14):
So many cameos from so many different athletes, golfers.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Travis Kelce Eminem was in it.

Speaker 7 (14:20):
He was the big surprise from this trailer.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
It's crazy, Ben Steeller, bad Bunny. It's going to be
hilarious and it was a big weekend for Taylor Swift.
We have our own in house Swifty producer Riley, who
knows and does everything Swifty. So what does this all mean?
I thought she already had control of her whole catalog.

Speaker 15 (14:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (14:38):
So, basically, to make a long story short, when she
was fourteen or fifteen and signed that original contract that
she had with Big Machine Record, it said that she
could not own her Masters, and as a young person,
you don't really know. So she signed it, and after
she recorded reputation, when she then wanted to buy her Masters,
they basically said no, and they sold it to somebody else,

(15:00):
and so she didn't get the opportunity to buy them,
and Kelly Clarkson actually said, hey, you should re record
all of the stuff that you don't own, So then
she did. So Taylor's version then came out, and then
she went on tour to the Era's tour. It brought
in billions of dollars, and then she was able to
buy her Master's back for three hundred and sixty million dollars.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
And now she has everything, and yet it doesn't go
to Scooter Bron because Scooter Bron and whoever else they
sold a long time ago to another company that just
sold to correct yep.

Speaker 13 (15:29):
So Taylor was able to She said that when she
wanted to buy them back, she didn't want Scooter involved,
So Scooter wasn't. He sold them to somebody else, and
then she was able to negotiate with this other party
called Shamrock, where they gave it back to her for
like a better deal.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Basically, was this Taylor's major mission with the Eras tour
to make. I mean, they made a billion dollars, so
three hundred and sixty million isn't that much when you
made it anyway.

Speaker 13 (15:55):
Well, I think the whole point was that she always
wanted to own her masters. She wanted to be able
to own every single thing that she's done, and when
the opportunity wasn't presented to her, she then was like, well,
then I will do what I have to do to
get all my music back, which was re record And
I mean it worked out for her in the long
run because her tailor's version in the Ariostour was kind
of the only reason why she was able to buy

(16:17):
everything back.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
A lot of emotional posting on social did you cry
over the weekend?

Speaker 3 (16:21):
As a swift gay?

Speaker 13 (16:22):
I didn't cry, but you know it felt really I
did feel like giddy, like as if like I knew her,
Like it was.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Like, oh my god, like my friend, you went to
the aristar, you were a part of it.

Speaker 13 (16:32):
Yeah, I helped her buy That's the message here.

Speaker 7 (16:38):
Look what you did.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Riley Shakira is having some problems now. Her show at
Fenway Park the other night last week was canceled because
of a staging a structural problem. But now she was
supposed to perform at a festival, the Crystal Pride Festival Alliance,
and didn't.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Show up for that.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Is that in DC?

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Yeah? Yeah, unforeseen circumstances, which it was.

Speaker 10 (17:03):
Part of the structure that was supposed to be here
was supposed to be there. So that's so it was
like the trickle down effect. But then remember a measles
outbreak happened a couple of weeks ago at one.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Of her shows.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
It's crushed.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
It seems like that.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Yeah, the big post Malone jelly Roll show out at Jillette.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
How did your wife Jen make out?

Speaker 7 (17:20):
Justin Oh, she had the time of her life. She
goes every time they go early, they tailgate.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
You know.

Speaker 7 (17:25):
The Posty fans are like family, much like Taylor Swift fans.
So they all are in the parking lot, grilling, cooking up.
And then she said the show was amazing. Yeah, jelly
Roll was amazing at.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Least, so you were with jelly Rolling in Nashville.

Speaker 10 (17:37):
He was performing at the Rodeo on Friday night with
Tim McGraw and then he flew up and then he
flew up to do Posty And it's like amazing when
you see live horses just walking down the street in Nashville.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
No, I've never seen anything like.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
It, but I did.

Speaker 10 (17:50):
I went to the Jenna Bushager book Festival read with Jenna.
It was next level, so many new England authors were
there like Ellen Hildebrand, Allison as Patch who did the
wedding peace Ball.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
So it was just great to meet all of them.

Speaker 10 (18:02):
And we have some great book club authors coming your
way because.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Of your networking in Nashville.

Speaker 10 (18:09):
Well I know, but also just because we are planning
some great events.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
So we'll be announcing that later this week.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
And Jenna Buschegar is now your best friend.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
But she did. She came up to me at the
airport in Nashville.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Wow, that was very cool.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
New amazing person.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
New ed Sharon song coming out this Friday. It's called Sapphire.

Speaker 13 (18:28):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
That's a summer sound, right there. Yeah, summer sound. I'm
just saying. And justin you have a bonus at cheering story.

Speaker 7 (18:35):
Well yeah. The good Night Bro Challenge is taking over
social media where basically bros like myself call their best
buds before bed and wish them good night, sweet dreams
and tell them that they love them. At Sharon actually
called his bestie Lewis Capaldi.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
Hello, Hello, hello mate, I'm just just calling to uh
to wish.

Speaker 12 (18:56):
You good night.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Good night, mykay, good good night? Are you good name?
Good name?

Speaker 12 (19:03):
My special care?

Speaker 3 (19:03):
What are you doing. I'm just kind of just chill
them off my coat, right man?

Speaker 12 (19:08):
Blow?

Speaker 2 (19:09):
And what are you wearing?

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Okay? Just the usual come up, come up, a little bunkys.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
On it, you know, just hang it.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
Well, well, I just want to let you know that
you you loved and cared for.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
Yeah, and I did the good night bro challenge last
night to our own Billy Costa called them up seven
o'clock at night to say good night, and then I
love him.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
I believe we'll do this, dude. Yeah, what are you doing?

Speaker 16 (19:37):
I want you to show Okay, are you in bed?

Speaker 2 (19:41):
No, I'm just sitting on the couch.

Speaker 16 (19:43):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (19:44):
Uh well, I just want to call and tell you
that I love you and good night and sweet dreams.

Speaker 7 (19:52):
I'm just going to say good night and sweet dreams.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
That is why I'm calling.

Speaker 5 (19:58):
What do you mean I can't call and tell you
that love in goodnight, sweet dreams. I am not.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
I did not relapse so clean.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
What's wrong with that?

Speaker 4 (20:10):
I didn't say to Michelle, God, what a weird out?

Speaker 13 (20:12):
Does hung up?

Speaker 3 (20:13):
I said, what just happened? But ed Sharon's friends seemed
as awkward as I did. Everyone does you mean?

Speaker 6 (20:19):

Speaker 7 (20:22):
Yeah, yeah, you missed that part.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Lewis Cad you want me?

Speaker 3 (20:28):
I know you want me?

Speaker 13 (20:29):
You know I want you?

Speaker 4 (21:02):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios. We're
back with Billy and Lisa in the Morning on Kiss.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Hey, guys, and if you were listening to the show
last week, and we always assume everybody's listening every minute
of every single day, very morning show. Let's face it,
let's be honest with each other. But there was a
weird incident at Lisa's house where her son Max was
celebrating a birthday and they were having a party at

(21:31):
the pool in the backyard and they were all gathered
in the hot tub and there was an incident because
the hot sub tub ceased.

Speaker 10 (21:41):
There were fifteen kids at the party and it was
during that northeastern and I was like, you're really going
to have this, so they did. They went in the
hot tub during the northeaster, and then two days later
I tried to sit in the hot tub to get,
you know, my first time in the hot tub all season.
I've been really busy and I went to turn on
the button to start the jets and nothing was happening.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
And a lot of listeners right justin have been asking, hey,
whatever happened with the hot tub.

Speaker 16 (22:08):
Every day, checking in on yesterday's conversation, Lisa, did you
have a find out what was stuck in the hot tum?

Speaker 8 (22:15):
So listen, have a good day.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
It's a turney cad.

Speaker 7 (22:19):
I was just wondering was there ever an answer to
the hot tub situation at Lisa's house.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
I apologize if I missed it. Thanks, love you guys.

Speaker 7 (22:27):
Yeah, and not only that, they've been trying to guess
as we were what was stuck in the jets.

Speaker 6 (22:33):
There it tape like duct tape?

Speaker 2 (22:35):
No?

Speaker 3 (22:36):
No, right, no no?

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Is it a windshow wiper?

Speaker 3 (22:38):
No?

Speaker 13 (22:39):
No?

Speaker 7 (22:43):
No, okay?

Speaker 9 (22:44):
Is that an automatic car doors.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Yeah. Oh no, I know what it is. It some booty. Wow.
You had the crew in all right.

Speaker 10 (22:55):
So the update is the crew came once and couldn't
figure it out.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
I had to call the crew again. They came back twice.

Speaker 10 (23:04):
Wow, because there was so much unknown debris in the jets.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Are you saying it was indescribable debris?

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Unknown debris?

Speaker 7 (23:14):
So they did not find them?

Speaker 10 (23:15):
No, they wrote it on the on the sheet of
paper the tax but they had to come back twice
justin wow, because they couldn't get it. So it's a
mystery unknown debris. But it's working now.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
The fact that they said unknown debris confirms it was
I think so.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
And I think they're trying to protect the innocent.

Speaker 7 (23:34):
Yes, yes, do they know that they were at high
school kids in the hot tub?

Speaker 4 (23:39):
I'm guessing they probably do.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Now there was a party. Yes, they didn't want to
tell mom what was actually is.

Speaker 14 (23:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
So on the sheet it says unknown debris, which is hilarious.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Well, we don't know. Again, it's we don't know what
else would be unknown? Different then bathing suit, bathing suit,
top tie, bottom, hair tie, a scrungey. Yeah, it could
be that.

Speaker 7 (24:02):
It could be like some kind of elastic yes, yes, right.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Or or all of the above.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Yeah, possibly, And we have jam.

Speaker 10 (24:11):
Enough fifteen grown I mean basically they're all eighteen, you know,
grown adults sitting you know, in a hot tub.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
On how adult like they are? Size yeah, size wise
they are.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
There's no occasion under which it would be a tampon, right,
I mean.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
It honestly, you never know.

Speaker 11 (24:29):
It could happen if the girls, you know, the time
of the month, it could definitely be.

Speaker 7 (24:33):
Honestly, what I what I think it is at least
is they were probably were they using the pool at
the same time, yes, okay, so they were getting out
and they were tracking. Yes, that's you know, things get tracked.
They're walking barefoot into the hot tub out.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
You think it's that innocent.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
Well, the fact that they had to come back twice
it was very telling.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Could you reach back to the hot tub team and
ask if they can define unknown?

Speaker 6 (24:58):
Well they can't. That's why they say it was unknown.
If they could define it.

Speaker 7 (25:02):
They can do further testing. They could send us like
a c s I lab CSI lab, you know, like
the FBI.

Speaker 10 (25:09):
But I have to say the best part is that
it's now working again. Yeah, yeah, so mom can finally
go in.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
The bottom line is it was one hell of a party.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
It really was.

Speaker 8 (25:18):
Yep.

Speaker 10 (25:19):
Remember more to follow because proms tonight and then we
have graduation Friday night.

Speaker 7 (25:23):
You better have them on speed dial be coming back
to Are they coming back in the hot tub?

Speaker 10 (25:28):
I think at some point there it's the same group.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
Okay, so you need to tell them to wear slides
and then out of the hot tub because they're tracking
stuff with their feet.

Speaker 11 (25:38):
The only thing, though, is Lisa's hot tub is actually
attached to the pool in a way.

Speaker 6 (25:43):
You could hop in and out what you do, that's what.

Speaker 11 (25:45):
Yeah, you don't have to get out hop from one
water to the next.

Speaker 10 (25:50):
There's a little bit of bluestone in between.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
Yeah, it's pretty close.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Yeah. Okay, well I think Bill's right then. I think
I think you're right on what it is.

Speaker 7 (26:00):
Again, the appropriate response seems to be, where coming Lisa
kiss one O eight, let's get some talk back left
doors in the brother Yeah. The Billy and Lisa Show
obviously heard worldwide on the iHeartRadio app, which is free

Speaker 16 (26:27):
Good morning, Morning could reporting from New York. How was

It was nice to see the Pacers win.

Speaker 7 (26:43):

on Diggs was wearing it too with Cardi B this week.

Speaker 7 (27:11):
Okay, chrome hearts, Yeah, anyway, thanks for checking in.

Speaker 12 (27:14):
Gigi was so eager, so young, but not too young
to learn about making herself shine in the eyes of
some lucky man.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
I see Gigi running around Milton.

Speaker 7 (27:24):
Oh, that's the same the runner Milton. All right, well,

become a republic and not a monarchy. Celebrated around Italy

for two weeks.

he went to Switzerland.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
He went to Germany, he went to France.

Speaker 4 (28:41):

was the coolest thing ever.

Speaker 3 (28:51):

Billy and Lisa in the morning on Just one o eight,

Speaker 4 (29:00):
Thanks Dad, I love.

Speaker 3 (29:03):

Speaker 7 (29:03):

Speaker 8 (29:13):
This is podcast Penelope listening live this morning. After twenty
three years, I left my job due to management issues,
and I'm starting my new job today in the same field.
Very excited, but very nervous and as usual listening to
you guys. Your voices always calm me down. Thanks so
much for being you. Take care.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
I want to know what the management issues were. There
are always issues with management.

Speaker 7 (29:40):
Yeah, maybe they were downsizing.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (29:44):
Well, they always say people have jobs, not because of
the work, but because of the management or the leadership
or there.

Speaker 7 (29:49):
You know, Penelope bounce back though she's already starting a
new job in the same field. By the way, I
love that name Penelope.

Speaker 10 (29:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (29:56):
My friend's daughter's name is Penelope and they call her
p coming.

Speaker 11 (30:00):
Back because my nieces are eight and five and they
have like two or three penelopees.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
They know. Wow, it must be like making a comeback.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
And can call them Penny. Yeah, they did.

Speaker 6 (30:08):
You call them Penny?

Speaker 7 (30:09):
Yeah, Oh that's a good one.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
Yeah, all right. Cool.

Speaker 7 (30:12):
And this weekend my wife went to post Malone. I
had a very important job. Do you know what that
job was, you, dad? No, I do that job every.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Day, keep the kids safe.

Speaker 7 (30:20):
And yeah, that's that's normal. This is out of my
my normal duties. I had to shut the chicken coop door. Oh,
this was very important. She was facetiming me while post
Malone was on stage to tell them to scream at
me to shut the chicken coop door. You have to
do it by hand.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Can you imagine.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
I know, I had the thought you left the door
open and there was a massacre.

Speaker 7 (30:43):
Yeah, I checked a million times if it was really shut.

Speaker 8 (30:46):
My man.

Speaker 7 (30:46):
Yeah, and there's a little window you have to shut too.
But she did buy the automatic door. We just have
to get it installed so she can do it right
from her phone. What if there's a malfunction, it's a
great quarrel. She it's all has ring cameras. She get
all wired up and then she'll do it anyway. Chicken
Coop Life, Hey.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
Justin, I have a joke for you.

Speaker 14 (31:04):
Why do chicken coops only have two doors? Because if
they had four doors, they would be called a chicken today?

Speaker 4 (31:12):
And oh I like that. That's funny.

Speaker 10 (31:14):
Oh yeah, kiss one Await it's the morning wrap up
on Billy and Lisa in the morning.

a good topic for topic time. A viral debate has
exploded when a mom posted a video saying she is
not sending her kids to the last few days of
school because there's no point right school is basically over.

(32:28):
She's going to keep them home and start the summer early.

Speaker 14 (32:31):
Hey guys, I am a third grade teacher in Milford,
and honestly, like I want all of my students to
come to school. We work so hard all year that
the last few days are really just to spend time
with each other, and a lot of the times, I know,
teachers and myself we plan a lot of fun activities
that kind of serve as like a countdown to the

(32:51):
last day. So it's always sad when students are absent
and miss have a great day.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Yeah, thank you. Yeah, I think we all agree.

Speaker 7 (33:00):
You should send the kids finish the school year and
then summer begins, right, yeah, unless you have a summer house, right, Billy.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Okay, you know I didn't mean anything, but just like
you have summer plans, right, family, early, jump.

Speaker 7 (33:14):
On something, right, right right. Lisa came back from Nashville
this weekend where she met Jenna bush Hagar.

Speaker 17 (33:20):
Good morning, Kiss went away. I just would like to
agree completely with Lisa about Jenna bush Hager. Total fan
girl over here Denver got a chance to meet her.
But I just think she is just so great. I
read Everything Beautiful in its time in the book is
just a beautiful tribute to her grandparents in her story,

(33:42):
and I'm so happy you got a chance to meter.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (33:46):
Jenna bush Hager is the most gracious person. She's really funny,
she's self deprecating, and the book Festival was amazing, and
Ellen Hildebrand was there and Allisonspatch from they're both Boston
authors and Tim Talks Books was there.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Who does the podcast with Ellen?

Speaker 3 (34:00):
So who's coming on our show weekend in Nashville.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Yeah, it was really it was amazing.

Speaker 7 (34:05):
That's networking that you were doing for the book club,
big time, very cool. We also had Jerry Green failed
in from Ben and Jerry's for the scuper Bowl, which
starts tomorrow, goes through Thursday. Major events Scooper Bowl dot
org to get tickets. They're gonna have so many different
types of ice cream.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Not just Ben and Jerry's. We've got Brigham's, a long
time supporter, Kremdel liquoraz I mentioned Edies, Friendlies, local guys, Hogindaus,
Holy Cow from Gloucester Hood, local guys, McConnell's from Santa Barbara, California. Wow,
Malona from South Korea. They've got this honeydew ice cream
that is unbelieved.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Have South Koreans flying in for I think their ice
cream is for Jerry. Come on, it's a radio.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
Come on, Jerry. Yeah, it's gonna be amazing. Fifteen dollars
tickets for kids twenty four adults kids under five are
free and it all raises money for the Jimmy Fun.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
And don't forget the Adult Night Thursday Night.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
I think it is Thursday.

Speaker 7 (34:59):
Yeah, it's a great event. I think we've all gone before,
so check it out. And finally, I did the good
Night Bro Challenge for Billy last night. I called him
before bed to wish him good night and tell him
that I love him and to have sweet dreams. He
didn't know what was going on. He didn't find out
till today.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
I just wanted to call and tell you that I
love you and good night and sweet dreams.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
I don't see the big deal here. Well, if it's
a big deal, you should call me every night now. Okay,
I'll do it. Need Ed Sharon to trigger it.
