to use the bathroom during my lunch.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I'll have to start wearing diapers.
Speaker 6 (01:37):
Can't waste any time in the bathroom. Those delicious creek
salads that I ordered that could feed a FAELI me
A five comes with the peta pocket the size of
a large pizza that takes me an hour to eat.
I can't shove that down my throat in thirty minutes.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
That's what she said. Yeah, okay, and face said. Adult
diapers have come a long way.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Yeah, thank you, Kim.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Thanks.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Kim is really going to the end of this earth.
When this Talkbacker of the Year award, She's definitely in
the running. You don't even know, No, you have no
idea why.
Speaker 7 (02:07):
This is Jimmy from Quincy. I just want to give
another plug for Kim Toho. She is hilarious and mostly
because her life is pathetic. She could succumb to the
on Wii that we all face year after year. Finally,
a glimmer of hope. She could win a kiss one
await that's all she has.
Speaker 8 (02:25):
She's got nothing, She's got nothing.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
She's got every single family member vying for her to
win this. I like it.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I got to rally around your candidate.
Speaker 8 (02:36):
Yes, all weekend, everybody. I'm just calling on behalf of
sausage Toe Kim. She really wants to be the Talkbacker

Speaker 9 (03:10):
Happy Friday. It's the Mayor of the South. Then I
have two fun things to do this weekend. First, the
Christmas Parade is going to take place in the North end,
Santa will be arriving by helicopter at one o'clock and
then Sunday at one o'clock it's the Santa Speedo Run.
Thousands of attracted people running in speedos for charity, and
(03:31):
there will be some shrinkage.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
Ho ho ho.
Speaker 9 (03:34):
Have a great weekend, everybody.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Legendary event, the Speedo Run, Speedo Run.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I like watching the videos on it.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
And Lisa, Okay, we're gonna have some fun with headlines.
Just under these holiday headlines.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
A one is oh, we'll get to that in a moment.
Here these are real or fake headlines, headlines that I've
seen or possibly made up. You be the judge. First up,
this is a fascinating one. A Swedish uti tuber spent
six months teaching an octopus to play piano. Real or fake?
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Okay, this this has Justin's name written all over.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
It, as in.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Well as and I made it up.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yeah, I do live underwater.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Well, they have very long tentacle. You know, they're very regal,
very whatever you could call them.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
I'm going to I'm going to say fake.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
All right, I have to come clean here.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
I already saw this story, you did, okay, I did
so I'm going to say it's real, yes, because I
know it's real.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
One hundred percent real. Yes, thank you for your honesty.
A Sweetish musician successfully trained his pet octopus name I
don't even tak Aoki to play piano after six months
and you know what, he's pretty good. It's amazing.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Okay, hold on, who's playing the guitar?
Speaker 1 (05:07):
No, it's the piano.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
The piano.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
That's a piano.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah. He designed a special keyboard with levers so the
octopus could pull using its tentacles underwater.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Yeah, and they're pretty deep down octopus, they don't float
around the surface.
Speaker 10 (05:21):
All right.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Well, shout out to him. Matteus Krenz, a Swedish musician. Okay,
so there you go. Next up, this is your holiday
headline railer Fake Billy and Lisa. Eighty three four hundred
and twenty seven Christmas cookies were baked for a world
record attempt.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Well, this is a fun holiday one. I'm gonna say.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yes, I'm gonna say real thing real. Sound like you
could make up that number randomly. It was like a
specific note.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
And it seems like that's something someone would do.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Right, Okay, both real, yeah, real?
Speaker 9 (05:57):
Right?
Speaker 2 (05:57):
A bunch of home bakers just had a new record
in Pittsburgh for the largest Christmas cookie exchange. Sixty seven
teams from fourteen states baked and displayed a grand total
of eighty three thousand, four hundred and twenty seven cookies.
Speaker 11 (06:12):
We are very excited to announce the results of the
world's largest Christmas cookie exchange. So you know, you had
everything decorated like snowballs and Santa Claus and reindeer, just
a lot of fun. The best cookies are going to
come from the bubbas in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
There's just no doubt. Abouba Bubba's Bubba's.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Someone doesn't know what's a bubba.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Bubba's A grandmother, a beloved grandmother.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
H never heard that before?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Lace Did you know the bubbas in Pennsylvania growing up there?
Speaker 5 (06:44):
No, there weren't any bubbas in my family, but I
am from that sort of part of the world.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Interesting. Interesting, Okay, one more here rail of fake headline.
A new documentary. It's coming out. The trailer just dropped
and it's all about annoying kids music.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Ah. I have to admit I think I saw this.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
This is getting tougher and tougher to get by.
Speaker 9 (07:07):
You.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
So what are we doing here? I'm gonna say real.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Okay, I have to go with Bill on that one.
If he saw it right.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
HBO Max made a documentary called Happy and You Know
It and it's about the popularity of annoying kids music.
It includes several children's artists like The Wiggles and Baby
Shark and all that. Here's the trailer.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
A lot of petty is an annoying dumped down me
want to brands off.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
The peak of my creativity was my original Baby Shark.
Speaker 12 (07:39):
Baby all of this sudden pink Pong was the Baby
Shark standards.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Yeah, so that's a big part in this movie, right.
The guy who came up with the Baby Shark song
is upset with Pink Pong from making the song such
a massive hit.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
They're gonna explore that that's an interesting project.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, a little baby Sharp.
Speaker 13 (08:03):
Billy and Lisa now the entertainment updates with a Billy
coll set one.

twenty twenty three song called who We Love Y. Sim
(09:11):
Smith is back in a big way. He kind of
went away for a while. Now he's back and we're
happy about that. So talented Anne Hathaway within the audience.
This is a very small, intimate venue in New York City,
maybe seven hundred seats and a win tour also there
and Ed Cheran also joined Brandy Carlyle on stage for
a sing along of I'm Not the only One. Something else.
(09:41):
We'll be talking to it. Sheering about backstage at jingle

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Yeah, and you can be there for the backstage interviews.
Close call for Bad Bunny. He took a spill during
his show in Mexico and it took him a few
seconds to get up, and he managed to get up
and finish the show. And let's face it, we need
a very healthy Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl halftime show.
He took a fall. He took a fall. He took
(10:25):
a fall, not his first time, by the way. When
they reported on it, they said this the second time
he's taking a fall on stage.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Well, he's very active on stage.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Oh yeah, jumps around, Yeah, hops and jumps around. Just announced,
Kelly Clarkson's going to kick off NFL Christmas Game Day.
She'll performed before the Cowboys Commander's game on Christmas Day,
which is pretty cool. She's a big Cowboys fan. And
Cardi b all in on the Patriots, all in on football.
Of course she's dating stuff on Diggs. They have a

I like football, and I already grew up watch football,
and I know, you know, I'm a Dominican beach watching
baseball basketball.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
From time to time. But now I'm a whole football beach.
Like I'm all li it bitch. I want smoke.
Speaker 6 (11:11):
I want to smoke over the Patriots anytime, anything day.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Yeah, that doesn't say happy holiday or.
Speaker 10 (11:19):
New mom.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
It's such a good influence. Uh yeah, yeah, you got
to give her that authentic.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Well, that's just how she shows herself like on you know,
on Instagram, in real life.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Oh man Man's Yeah, okay, Pats Bill Sunday one o'clock kickoff.
I think this is the biggest game of the season
for the Patriots for the regular season.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Yeah, we got a playoff birth if we win, we clinch.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
And let's talk about Timothy shallow May. There is a
rumor that is a secretly there's a UK rapper SD
kid who's never really shown his face.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
He show only shows his eyes he does. I mean,
he strikes a resemblance to him.
Speaker 5 (12:05):
But they have a lot of the same clothes to
like this skull print scarf that everyone keeps talking about.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Oh you think that could be a sanitcher?
Speaker 1 (12:13):
I do?
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Oh subliminal hint.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Well.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Shalla May has a long history with rap, going back
to high school when he actually performed for his statistics classick.
Speaker 14 (12:27):
That masth wrap was awesome. That just reminded me of
boats and hose.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
I'm loving this. Also in high school, he did a
live performance in front of a live audience to meet him.
Speaker 11 (12:47):
Hold up your.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
Pants, hookles, tapping my Way from plants Choppy. You gotta
see the video on this. Where can they get the video?
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Just it's on YouTube. You just look up Timothy Schallomy
wrapping high school bill Up.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
That's my favorite one. It's hilarious with the dance moves
and remember he also wrapped with Pete Davidson on Saturday
Night Live Busted h and for the first time yesterday,
he was asked, are U s d kid?
Speaker 2 (13:17):
I got no comment on that? Oh come on, no,
I got two words on that. Go on in your
own time? Two words, two words? What's wrong with him?
We've losted someone waiting to read book. All will be
revealed in due time.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
Lisa, who's he dating? Isn't it one of the Kardashians
or Jenner's.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
Or yeah, yeah, Timothy Shalomey is dating Kylie Jenner and
they were just seen on the red carpet wearing matching
orange outfits for the Marty Supreme movie premiere. Oh cool,
because there was like speculation that they'd broken up, but
then they were back on the red carpet.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Okay, Jason Kelsey's wife, Kylie I love her. I love her.
She's commenting on that conversation between Jason and Travis on
the podcast about never ever ever having an argument. Check
it out. No notice how my husband was oddly quiet
during this segment.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
He did ask a couple clarifying questions, but.
Speaker 13 (14:15):
For the most part, his knew that he could not
say that after almost eight years married.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
We absolutely argue.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Thank you for being honest, Kylie.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
She's cool. Yeah, she's authentic. Bussy.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Well they also have a couple of kids, you know.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Bussy, you know trying here. So Taylor Swift's a concert
film and docu series are out. They dropped at midnight
last night, Lisa, will you watch them this weekend? I?
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Well, I don't have Disney Plus, so I've got to
like use Justin's Disney account.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Oh that's right, you and I are in a race
to steal from Justin.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
I mean, this is really something.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Else everyone's using my streaming apps.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Well, this is the only one I don't have.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Disney Plus, right, Shuly a good one to.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Have, But multiple people cans can't watch it at the
same time. Right, but we can piggyback it.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Right, But what if I want to watch it? It's
like schedule it.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
No, I'll call you before I'm about to watch it
and say, is it okay? Do I have a green
light on this?
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Fine?
Speaker 4 (15:15):
All right? Right, Disney Plus? Okay, I'll just piggyback off
for either.
Speaker 5 (15:19):
Oh wait, maybe I'll use Riley.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Oh yeah, Billy can use mine. You can use Riley.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Hey, Justin Bieber back on the Live Dream. This time
he went back to the Bowling Alley where he shot
the music video for his song Baby and relived it.
I was like, baby, baby, baby, baby, bab No, his
crew must be like, really, we're going on again? Where
(15:46):
are we going this? Either way? That bowling alley is
not a bowling alley anymore, it's an empty building.
Speaker 9 (15:51):
Now.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
I would love to be his crew. I mean that's
like a full time paycheck.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Yeah, And you never know what to expect, right. We
brought to you by the ninety one restaurant. You can
give the perfect gift this year ninety nine restaurant gift cards.

Speaker 14 (16:29):
Bussy from the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios,
We're back with the Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
Okay, it's h Dingleball weekend. We got the jingle Ball
coming up Sunday night. Justin let's do a little preview.
Let's give everybody a little taste of what's to come
to the gd Garden Sunday night.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Well, we're gonna start with Ed Sharon. He's our headliner.
I mean, let's keep I mean, let's be real. Ed
Sharon amazing. Anytime you see him in concert, we love
it because well, he has all the hits, but also
he builds the beat, he builds a song on stage.
He has no band, it's just him and he's gonna
do that on stage. What does he end with? There's
so many perfect edg Sharing songs that he could end with.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
And you got a really good sampling as to what
it's like to be Ed Sharon on stage watching that
one shot, because you saw up close and now he's
when he started out, he had like two pedals foot pedals,
and now he's got like ten of them across the stage.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Yeah, and he's only doing a couple of jingle Balls
across the country, and Boarson's one of them.
Speaker 15 (17:26):
No surprise, it's always been the first place for me,
like the first biggest theater I played in, the first
arena I played here, and then the first stadium, and
it's always been But I guess there's something to.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Do with the Irish heritage. I guess.
Speaker 8 (17:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
But yeah, I love I love busting. I forget. Jingle
Ball was the first arena that he ever played.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (17:46):
I remember him backstage and he was Remember he was
like asleep on the couch.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
Yeah, I got a speaker right before he went on.
He looked like a roadie. We didn't know him at
the time.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
He was so relaxed.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Yeah, redheaded guy. It's weird. Yeah, twenty two twelve, first
jingle Ball.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
We've got ourselves a celebration going on backstage here at
jingle Ball twenty twelve. First of all, I'm here with
Ed Shearon and my congratulations Grammy nomination last night. Are
you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Listen?
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Good stuff?
Speaker 4 (18:13):
So are you enjoying this tour here?
Speaker 10 (18:15):
I'm loving it.
Speaker 11 (18:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (18:16):
I've never played venues like this in America.
Speaker 11 (18:19):
You know.
Speaker 10 (18:19):
I did this the Snow Patrol Tour, which is all theaters,
and I did my own headline to which was owned
all theaters. As well. And I've never really kind of.
Speaker 15 (18:26):
Delved into this amazing ice hockey kind of places.
Speaker 10 (18:31):
And no, it's it's great. I'm having a new kid time.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Yeah, he's coming back to that ice hockey place. Wow,
thirteen years later, that's crazy. He mentioned snow Patrol. Yeah
that's old school. Oh yeah, yeah, full circum moment for Edi.
He's going to crush it on stage. Also coming in
for jingle Ball Sunday night. I'm excited for this one.
Sean Paul.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
A few years ago during jingle Ball, right before we
had an artist, there was a little mix up on scheduling.
We needed a fill in. We called Sham Paul, who
lives in Jamaica. Yeah, literally hours before the show, and
he hopped on a plane and came.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Hey, Boston and gets love from me because they always
give me love, you know what I mean, So be
up to the entire buston. When you guys hollered at
me and told me come sing a few, I was like,
let's do this. I was actually trying to you know,
this green thumb thing where you try to plant you know,
vegetables like yeah, we called tomatoes and shore onions. I
(19:23):
was doing that in my backyard and they was like, yo,
you gotta stop doing that now. So let me get
down to get flights booked.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
And you were gardening. I was, I was gardening, yeah,
and was it really vegetable?
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Vegetable yeah, tomatoes and onions.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Yeah, yeah, that would have been anything that was I thought,
what kind of green are we talking about?
Speaker 12 (19:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (19:45):
But we called him like maybe twenty four hours before
jingle Ball and he bailed us out big time, hopped
the jet and came to Boston.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Yeah. And so Sean Paul is famous for what they're
called dub plates. Yeah, usually does it for radio stations
DJs like DJ pop dog as a bunch of them,
where it's basically a freestyle where he incorporates the DJ
name or the radio station name. So Billy was kind
of just discovering this and he asked Sean Paul backstage
at jingle Ball to do one on the spot and
he did it.
Speaker 16 (20:12):
Dino, my Joe, Dina might yell and said, then we
want to play Dino my deo, Dina, my d met
Niggers Den Ma Luidnea my dadna do.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Yeah. It was pretty good, pretty cool moment. I gotta
be honest with you. You know, we'd love to poke fun
at Billy, our fairless leader. But one of the cool
things at jingle Balls at Kiss concerts, right at least,
is these artists come backstage and they all remember Billy. Yeah,
because he's been around for so long. He's interviewed so
many people, so when they come back, they always scan
the room and they see Billy, and then it puts.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Them at ease too.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Yeah, honestly, like we're.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
Just trying to have fun with them, you know, yeah, exactly,
tell me about your.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Record, yeah, and they and they so appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, they do. Like Sabrina was the big one a
couple of years ago. God, so we're backstage, Sabrina comes
into the interview room. You know that the camera's on on,
the MIC's aren't even on, right, So she walks and
I'm looking at her, and she scans the room and
she locks eyes with Billy and just be lines it
over And for whatever reason, I knew something was coming,
so I turned the mics on, like, last minute, Hi.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Billy, we've met before.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
How are you going to see you good?
Speaker 3 (21:16):
I remember this interview I did with you backstage.
Speaker 13 (21:19):
I don't know if it was jingle Ball, but I
was wearing a Coca Cola T shirt.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
It's a very vivid memory in my life.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
Oh boy, that was our last name. I'm supposed to apologize.
Speaker 11 (21:28):
No, it was all positive.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
That's why I brought it up, just like.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
I just remember that interview so vividly.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
And I have to say last year when we had
Tate and the kid LaRoy, oh boy, we weren't supposed
to ask about anything, and Billy went there.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
He did and he got it out of him. He
answered the kid LaRoy, he got it out of him.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Yeah, listen, if you're coming to town for jingle Ball,
the managers like, don't tell me something I shouldn't talk about,
because I I'll just feel the need to talk about
it right away.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Yeah. Like Taylor on Colbert this week, you know we
were asking why did he why didn't he go into
the wedding detail and all that, And I'm like, well,
he was probably told not to. Billy would have been
the first question.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Billy and Lisa O morning, justin let's get some talkback leftovers.
We're having a ball this morning.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Yes we are.
Speaker 9 (22:19):
So.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
The Taylor Swift docu DOCTU series concert film out on
Disney Plus this weekend. Billy and Lisa do not have logins.
They're trying to use Riley and Eyes, but a listener's
a head to help.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
Good morning, Hey Lisa, you can use my Disney Plus
anytime you want.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Just let me know. I'll say, just to my information.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
And inviting you to piggyback. I think so, I guess.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
I mean. The thing is I might watch it, and
Riley might watch watch the only one person can watch
it at a time.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
Right, I'll let you know in advance.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
We'll have to schedule who's gonna watch it and when.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
Yeah, I just have so many of these things that
I pay for. I just can't get another one. It's
just it's gonna like make me sick to my stomach.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
I'm not sure I know how to piggyback.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
You're piggybacking.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
You have to add my name to your.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
No, I just give you my my password. Okay, but
you're not supposed to share like that. Yeah, you guys
need your own lug.
Speaker 6 (23:13):
You need access to watch Taylor Swift's documentary. I'll give
you access to my Disney Plus.
Speaker 5 (23:22):
Okay, this is taking a turn, all right, This is
something very homespun like it's a Disney thing and now
it's turned into something.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Well, come on busy, uh and for the love of God,
and I'm speaking to one person and one person only.
That's Kim the Talkbacker. Kim, listen to me. Listen to me.
Listen to me. You don't have to have your whole
family lead talkbacks to nominate you. You're in the top,
(23:51):
You're in the running. We know you want to win.
She has everybody. I'm inundated with Kim's family and friends,
co workers, co workers, everyone, our daughter.
Speaker 14 (24:00):
Good morning team. This is Kim Aka Toho's eldest daughter
calling in. As you can imagine, I am equally as
excited for her to have this new creative outlet with
the talkbacks, and I am extremely horrified by some of
the content that.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
I hear in the mornings. But in all.
Speaker 14 (24:19):
Seriousness, she deserves Talkbacker of the Year. My sisters and
I wake up every single morning to her text to
listen because she loves it so much.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Well, she is getting others to listen to the Billy
and Lisa show.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
You know what She's She's expanding the circle would be like, yes,
we have not heard from Sarah from Maine.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
What's going on? She's she's gotten silent.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Oh no, she's around, Yeah, she's she's around. She's in
the top three. I would say, we're going to give
love to all the talkbackers. There'll only be one winner, though,
but you have a few that are in the running.
Sarah for Maine. Kim, Billy's boyfriend is in the running.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Hey, hey, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
But Kim, you're in that got you. We love you,
we appreciate you. You're in the running. No need you
want to send them all here. Hi.
Speaker 17 (25:06):
I can't tell you my name, but I'm the guy
that Kim likes only seventy five percent of the time.
I'm begging you please make our talkbacker of the Year.
If she wins on them, they hear the end of it.
If she loses on the they hear the end of it.
Do you understand what I'm saying? For the love of God,
help me, please, Hell, love of God, I love.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
That kids run away.
Speaker 14 (25:31):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Hey, guys, welcome back. In place of the wrap up
this morning, we're gonna do something very cool, because you
know we're a family here at Ihard. A lot of
people don't realize this because we are The Billy and
Lisa the Morning Show, but we have a collection of
family of radio stations within the building. We talked about
jamming down the hall with Ashley and Santy, but Jess
is here with us from The Bull Baby Love.
Speaker 15 (25:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
I just.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Cool looking over there.
Speaker 4 (26:03):
And this is kind of old school because you have
a telephone going on down the hall.
Speaker 13 (26:07):
So this is probably my two favorite days to be
on the radio, the two most important days in my opinion.
Shout out to Dylan, our boss, because we let Saint
Jude take over the radio for two full days and
we raise money to end childhood cancer.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
I think I saw the numbers from last year. You
raised a lot of money for Judes.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Last year.
Speaker 13 (26:28):
I think it was a little over five hundred thousand.
I'm not sure what the total is so far today.
I think when we left yesterday we were already at
like the two hundred thousand.
Speaker 10 (26:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Now, do you actually have, like old school a phone
bank of people answering phones?
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Not here, but yes, yes, it's like nationwide.
Speaker 13 (26:47):
But yeah, so we have if anyone wants to donate,
if they're looking to do something good before the year ends,
make a donation to see.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
It and how do they do it?
Speaker 1 (26:57):
So you can go to the Bulls Instagram, the Bowl
one one seven.
Speaker 13 (27:00):
We have everything there. But you can also old school
pick up your phone.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
And call somebody's going to answer the phone.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
What's going to answer?
Speaker 13 (27:08):
And you're just going to help end childhood cancer. So
if you make a donation of nineteen dollars a month,
you'll get this shirt that I just gave you.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
It's a really really cute T.
Speaker 13 (27:17):
Shirt yea, and all the country stars are wearing that
wearing it. But any donation helps. But it's one eight
hundred seven nine five eighteen hundred.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Now I want to do this because Emily is actually
here from St. Jude and is terrified to step up
to a microphone.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Actually great on air.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
So Emily, come on up to the mic, talk right
into it and give us the best Yeah, the best
statement you can give us in terms of Saint Jude's
and what goes on over there.
Speaker 12 (27:42):
Okay, So Saint Jude it's obviously located in Memphis, Tennessee,
but it's so special because we treat kids.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
From all over the world.
Speaker 12 (27:50):
We opened in nineteen sixty two, Danny Thomas had a
vision no child should die in the dawn of life,
so he opened Saint Jude, and since then we've pushed
the overall childhood cancer survival rate from twenty percent to
over eighty percent today, so incredible. Yeah, we're not just
(28:11):
a children's hospital. We're also a research center, so we
share our research freely with hospitals all over so it's
such a special place. Yeah, we shared the hospitals in
Boston and.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Barber All the hospitals here are using it.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
A little behind the scenes. Okay, when you Emily mentioned
the name Danny Thomas, yes, automatically, it looked at me like, yeah, Billy,
you remember Danny Thomas. That was amazing. Okay, it so happens.
I do remember the Danny Thomas shell. Wow, that was
like automatic.
Speaker 13 (28:45):
It does cost one point eight million to keep Saint
Jude running daily, so one point eight million daily, but
no family ever receives a bill. So anyone that's walking
into Saint Jude right now never receives a medical bill.
There's actually no billion department at Saint Jude. So all
these families, like the travel, the housing, the treatment, all
(29:06):
free it's extraordinary. So that's why we do these radiothons,
and it's just the more important.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
It's amazing.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
Well, you mentioned the country stars are wearing the shirts
and everything, and so who's the number one on the bowl?
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Riley Green?
Speaker 13 (29:19):
And actually I think yeah, and I think later today,
So I can't remember what hours, So you have to
listen all day.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
I think maybe it's like the four o'clock or three
o'clock hour.
Speaker 13 (29:28):
But if you become a partner in hope with say't
you during that hour, you'll be in the running too.
When tickets to see Riley is coming to Fenway, you
know he's going to be here for the Yukon Army game.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
He's playing during the Fenway Bowl.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
So that's Saturday the twenty seventh.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
Now I got to ask, is Riley Green number one
on the ball because he's so good or because he's
so cute?
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Honestly?
Speaker 13 (29:52):
So you know he's Yeah, he's a very good looking
country artist.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
You know he was, you know, a quarterback.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
It's all about the package.
Speaker 13 (29:59):
Very nice and you know what I love about country artists.
I'll rate you handwritten thank you notes. So you know
Riley came in here many years ago on his radio tour,
and then two days later there was like a thank
you note, like, thank you for letting me stop by.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
That's so impressive. They're so great.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
So you're saying, Taylors.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Handred us that she started.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
Yeah in country, this is great once again.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
The website, the.
Speaker 13 (30:20):
Phone number to call, follow us on Instagram, the bowl
one oh one seven. All the links are there. But
if you have your phone handy, you're hoping to do
something good before the end of the year.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Pick it up right now.
Speaker 13 (30:31):
Make that donation one eight hundred at seven nine, eighteen hundred.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
Well done.
Speaker 13 (30:36):
It's like a heat wave in here. Yeah, the bolsterdio
is freezing.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
By the way, on your way out, horns up baring, Yeah,
just saying I love saying that horn.
Speaker 13 (30:46):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Have fun at jingle Ball.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
Thank you. But that's it. Okay, we'll see you a
jingle ball or we'll see you first thing Monday morning.
Very tired from jingle Ball.
