Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
It's just a great start to my day on Kids
Run Away.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Oh well, good morning everybody. Billy here, Lisa here, justin here,
Winnie here. Hey, look, there's producer Riley in the command
center over there, ready to take your calls on the
Billy and Lisa Morning Show. We're bracing for the storm.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
Oh yeah, there is a storm coming.

Speaker 6 (00:26):
Ever seen.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
You?

Speaker 4 (00:34):
But I gotta tell you something. This is a weird storm. Okay,
I'm trying to figure it out. It's like the big
story of the morning. They're talking about one maybe three inches.
So is it the timing of the storm.

Speaker 7 (00:46):
Yeah, Well, my kids, I just got the message there.
School is canceled today.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Yeah, a lot of schools camp.

Speaker 7 (00:52):
Right, So it's between nine and two, So that's that
window of sort of kids, you know, getting out of school.
They're going to their different activity sports things, games. So
I think, yeah, that's what's happening. People are just canceling.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Can I just say, like, who will we becoming? Because yeah,
I was in middle school. I literally walked home in
a way out. I mean, we were getting dismissed in blizzards.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
We went to school. I mean, this is ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
I just put on our boots in our hat and
we would walk to grade school in.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
The second grade three inches, not six inches.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Winning for being the youngest one on the show. That
was such a boomer coming.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I'm like, I'm one. What I'm saying, like this is ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Like, okay, we are home to the Blizzard of seventy
that's right, Okay, that's where the Blizzard of seventy eight
was born, right here. And everybody's freaked out about one
to three inches, and they keep saying unless staying home
is not an option. Okay, it's not an option for me.
My wife, Michelle is making me drive to Newhavior. You're

(01:55):
going to She didn't care if we had sixty mile
an hour August and we were getting thirty inches of
We're still going to New Haven and I have no choice.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
We're gonna talk to Jason Michael again at eight ten.
You know whether our weather guy Meteorology Channel four, he
told you yesterday not to do it.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
I know, but okay, one to three inches Mississippi exactly
a big deal to him. He's the Mississippi Queen.

Speaker 7 (02:20):
It's just going to be slow for you. It's going
to take you longer. That's the reason.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
And you could have a pile up and then that'll
say exactly, we're never getting to New Haven, right.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
There's a spin out.

Speaker 8 (02:31):
You're so screwed if there's a.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
But it's I think you're gonna go. You can't go,
you know, seventy five, little sixty five, the whole way.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Like I just I'm with you, Like this is I
have a.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Hair point at eleven forty five. Okay, I'm making it.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Oh, I don't want to skip the hair I do too.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Actually, yeah, my poor wife, she she's been planning this
day as a day off from works, some eto for
some alone time.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
And look what happens, which she had already taken it off.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Already taken off, had the day planned, and then the
storm and my kids have no school.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
But I got to tell you something, as hardy New Englanders,
we have become so fragile. Yeah, okay, And we're going
to talk to Jason Michael over at wbzs. You know
what's kind of cool. We sit here in the main
studio and we have WBZ News on the big screen
and then we're going to be on the WBZ News.
In a few minutes, we are at.

Speaker 8 (03:20):
Six fifty five.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
It's like magic.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
I literally will be in here running it and I'll
look at you guys on the you guys talk to them.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
I'm watching my studio too. You look great. Yeah. So
they call on us for hot topics and things like that,
and we call on them and Jason Michael for the
weather robots. Well, you know what you can talk about today.
Got to get the bread of milk. That's another thing
I want to address it with them. When we get
a little snow. Right away at the local news, they

(03:48):
go right down to the hardware store. Everybody suddenly is
buying a shovel. Everybody has a shovel. It's New England, okay.
And then they go right to the sand pits and
the salt pits. The trucks are gearing up. You can
see them now loading up the salt in the sand.
Of course they are. We're going to get an icy snow.
I like the ruler in the snow. Oh yeah, they
bring the ruler and they actually the reporters that they

(04:10):
send out in the storm will actually pick up a
little snow and show you what snow looks like. Like,
who doesn't know what snow looks like. I mean, it's
fascinating to me. So we have that going on and
we'll have Jason Michael on still the best name in
the world, Jason Michael Yeah, I love it. And Lisa,
you have a podcast that went up this morning.

Speaker 7 (04:31):
It's See Ellen Hildebrand. It's our first Ellen Hildebrand sit down.
When she did the Hotel Nantucket book, we were at
Memoir at Encore. We had like six hundred people there.
So I'm posting these interviews that we've done for the
book club over the last two Yeah, this is a
really great one because she gives us a behind the
scenes look at how she actually writes her novels and

(04:52):
I can't believe how she writes her novels.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
And that's in the podcast.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
Just go to Lisa's Lisa's book Club podcast, Like on
the Free iHeart app.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Have you noticed that whenever you have somebody on your
book club, they immediately go on to incredible greatness. Well,
I've launched a lot of authors.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Well during that discussion, she gave us the little tea
on the fact that the Perfect Couple had been optioned
by Netflix and then a year later we all watched
The Perfect Couple and she came back into the book Club.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Respectfully, I'm going to see Lisa didn't launch Ellen Hillebrand.
But what I will say is Lisa knows who is
a happening hot yeah writer.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
But I think Ellen was doing okay.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
She's playing the beat reads, but I love Billy.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Sticking with it. You've launched all of their careers.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
She launched Mesick's career too.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Absolutely, Wait a minute, who the hell heard of Ben
Mesick before he came on this show? Yeah? The Facebook movie. Okay, Yeah,
as you know, so you should get some sort of
an award.

Speaker 8 (05:58):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
You know, at least today is the perfect day with
the storm if you're at home stuff exactly.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
Che I'm telling you, Ellen is literally one of my
most favorite authors, and she just gives us such great
like behind the scenes info about what it's like and
how she does what she does and tells great story.
So I would check out this interview on Lisa's book
Club podcast.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
So it's up as of this morning, it's up, all right.

Speaker 8 (06:26):
I want to thank producer Rally because she's been helping
me with that.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Everybody thanks producer Riley. She does so much belind the scenes.
You need to know that. Yeah, okay, did you go
get some coffee?

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Can we think her for that?

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Speaking of that, okay, you're going to be passing by
the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
For Duncan right now.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Actually, when we used to be our coffee girl, she's
ordering others.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
You know what's funny.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
As as soon as I was only the coffee girl, we
no want to go coffee.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
But when I was a coffee girl, we got it
every day.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Well, while we're at it, let's get some food too.
It's on me. Okay, it's on me. It's a storm day.
You're supposed to eat nourish.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Yeah, bu up, get the coffee.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Riley kid, you gotta get the coffee.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Part of the team, you gotta get the coffee.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
And while you're at it, get us a couple of shovels.
We're coming up on entertainment. Giselle had the baby she did.
We're gonna talk about that, And there's a cool twist
to that. Ben Affleck Casey Affleck a commercial that involves
another one of those weird Duncan outfits, which, by the way,
we never got the original anyway. Entertainment's up next, then

(07:32):
by from the.

Speaker 9 (07:33):
Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios. We're back with
the Villy and Lisa in the morning. Kiss Now the
entertainment update with a billy copstep.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
All right, we're coming up on Super Bowl Sunday, Chiefs
and the Eagles on Sunday, Kendrick Lamar the halftime show.
Keep in mind, a song not like Us is the
disc track to Drake. Here's a clip a bitch.

Speaker 10 (07:56):
Ain't you tired?

Speaker 9 (07:57):
Trying to strike a chord?

Speaker 11 (07:58):
And it's probably.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
So. The NFL and Fox still not sure they will
allow Kendrick to do that song, considering there is a
defamation lawsuit going on. Kendrick calls out Drake as a
well certified pedophile in the song here we Go Bell,
so you can understand the NFL's hesitation.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Oh come on, He'll figure out a way to definitely
play the song. I'm not sure if he's gonna play
that part of the song. The an right, that's the
best part, it's the best part.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
His people are expected to turn over the set list
to the NFL and Fox today. Don't forget Scis is
going to be joining Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
And all the lawyers look at all it gets lawyered.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
I hope he does squabble up. You got to squabble up,
squabble up.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
What has that sample that Debbie deb Samp look for
of Buckley keep a horn, Mom, Pete on the ship?

Speaker 4 (08:54):
The blueprint is by me. That's a good one. Yeah, yeah,
Justin and I were talking off there. I mean, Hendrick
Lamar is so creative. He's going to figure out away.
I don't know if he's gonna have scizza do something like,
He'll figure out a way to get it drink during
the Super Bowl halftime show. Definitely.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
One thing we did not mention on the Grammys is
he took a subtle shot at Drake. Drake is from Canada, right,
and he wore a Canadian tuxedo to the show.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
I think with Kendrick, Yes, absolutely, that's what I mean.
It could be subtle on Sunday, but it's going to
get there.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
I love how petty he is.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
So petty, like a professional petty exactly so Tom Brady's
ext Grazelle had the baby yesterday. Lisa, what do we
know so far?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
And we basically know nothing.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
TMZ has reported that she had the baby recently. It's
her third child and it's with Jakeim. They the sex
of the baby has not been announced. The name has
not been announced, so we're waiting to find out did
she because they were waiting and they did not find
out Like that was the story of okay yep.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Meantime, Brady gearing up for the broadcast booth at the
Super Bowl. He was on Jim Gray's podcast yesterday. I
got a big game this week.

Speaker 11 (10:06):
I'm still in game plan, but I did a lot
of prep last week and I kind.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Of treated it like a player.

Speaker 11 (10:13):
I got a lot of film done early in the week,
so now as I get in the super Bowl week,
just little nuanced changes here and there.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
But I'm ready to go for a great game. It
should be a really fun super Bowl. And by the way,
the NFL for the Super Bowl is easing up on
the restrictions that Tom Brady has had in the booth
because of his partial ownership of the Raiders. I didn't
realize this as part of those restrictions, Like he wasn't
allowed near the locker room. Yeah, he wasn't allowed at
practice sessions. But he can do it all for the

(10:41):
Super Bowl on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Because the Raiders can't win, right.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Super Bowl commercial is always a big deal. So that
Duncan commercial with Ben Affleck, Casey Affleck and Jeremy Strong,
which I think is hilarious. It's got a new twist
to it this morning.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
Okay, So today Duncan is dropping a new tracksuit line.
They did a collab with Juicy Couture, which was so
popular in the early two thousands. But it drops today
at nine am. You go to duncangear dot com. But
there's a new six dollars meal deal that supposedly Ben loves,
which includes like a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and

(11:20):
crispy hash browns and a medium hotter rice coffee for
six bucks. But yeah, we've got a new tracksuit that
we need to order.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Okay, Okay, wait a minute. We ordered the original tracksuits
and they never came.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Well, yeah, I don't think you need to order them,
and they're not gonna come.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
They're not gonna come.

Speaker 8 (11:37):
Well, they're gonna sell out.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
Every girl that I dated as a teenager wore a
Juicy Coutu tracksuit.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Absolutely.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
I used to sleep in mind because I was like
so in love with it. It was so comfortable, so
it's the same Forlore and these tracksuits will be in
the Super Bowl. Ad Ben will be wearing them, Casey
will be wearing them.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Velvet their valor.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
They're coming back as vintage. My sister just bought one
because you oh it's so vintage.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
It is and there're been dazzled.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
Yeah, it says Duncan on the back instead of juicy.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Can I also say that if you you know, I've
been on that Sabrina Espresso drank the Brown Chicken espress show.
If you order after twelve, it's now three dollars, which
is insane because I always order after twelve, Like after
I leave here, I go and get one.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
I'm so excited to save like three dollars.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
So what time can we get this super DEALT.

Speaker 7 (12:25):
Nine o'clock this morning, Order your dunkin tracksuit meantime.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
Post Malone, of course, is going to be doing the
Tailgate concert and this just in we didn't know this
until this morning. We're going to carry We're going to
stream that concert the Post Malone show four o'clock Sunday
afternoon prior to the Super Bowl, which is kind of cool.
I like that commercial free by the way, Mountain Dew
has a commercial with Seal. I haven't seen this one yet,

(12:51):
but Seal is a Seal in the commercial.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
That's very clever.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
And the Arrival went to Harvard University yesterday to accept
her putting pod is this year as one Woman of
the Year. So she's got a Tony, she has an Emmy,
she also has a Grammy, and now she's got a
putting pot.

Speaker 12 (13:13):
To still be awarded for things that I've done on
stage means a great deal because it means that it's
still shining through.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
That's quite nice.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Yeah. Blue Man Group was part of the presentation yesterday,
which is kind of cool. Aren't they ending soon? Today?
I see that last year.

Speaker 7 (13:27):
Yeah, I just saw them for the first time last year.
It's a great thing to go see.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
And her co star in Wicked ran A ground Day,
went on Kimmel last night and says she had to
work really hard for this role in Wicked.

Speaker 13 (13:40):
I had to train to learn how to sing it
and make that part of my voice a lot stronger,
and train my vowel sounds and my consonants. And I
started training three months before my first audition. And it's
funny because you could actually, like hear when you go
back and listen to the voice notes, like week by
week the sound evolved and it's really nerdy.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
But it was like lifting weights in some way. Yes, yes, it's.

Speaker 13 (14:04):
Totally like that, because your vocal cords, like any other muscle,
are just muscle, so they have to learn a new habit.
And when you've been singing pop music or doing a
tour or doing one style of singing for such a
long time, they're kind of like accustomed to that. So
Glinda's style of singing is a completely opposite.

Speaker 14 (14:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
So Kimmel's got a segment called wing It and Sing It.
He puts random lyrics up and she's got to sing
to it. And we've got a clear.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
Even though I him in fact, oh god, so very
very small's short.

Speaker 8 (14:44):
And it turns out I am too baby carrot.

Speaker 6 (14:54):
I'm a lay pika che.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
That's the first she sees of the lyrics.

Speaker 8 (15:03):
She sounds like an angel when she Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah. Brunda, Mars and Rose's apt video just passed the
billion mark, and hip hop producer IRV Gotti died yesterday,
fifty four years old. Now you may not recognize his name,
but you'll know the music right justin.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
Oh, he's produced so many hip hop and R and
B hits in the nineties two thousands, talking about a
shanty Jah rule DMX Fat Joe Jennifer Lopez.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
I mean, he was a super.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
Producer, but he had some health complications diabetes, he had
a stroke recently. Yeah, he had a lot of hits,
but famously had a huge feud with fifty.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
God he did.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
Yeah, and fifty cent kind of ended his career a
little bit.

Speaker 8 (15:57):
Yeah, Yeah, it's too bad.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
You don't want to go to war with fifty No,
you really, you really don't know.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
He's actually catching a lot of heat because when the
news came out that IRV Gotti had passed, fifty was
kind of still taking shots out.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Oh no, I don't like that.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
I like that. I don't like that, Petty.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
I'm guessing IRV has no connection to John Gotti.

Speaker 8 (16:16):
Now you can just use the name.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
I'm just saying, Hey, we're brought to you by Boston Vision.

From the Planet Fitness, Kiss one Away Studios with the
Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Hey guys, so welcome back. Look at this least, we're
already into the seven o'clock hour. What a busy show
this is every morning.

Speaker 8 (17:10):
I'm exhausted.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
Yeah, and it's like ten minutes after seven o'clock. You
know what it is. It's the snow. We got snow coming.

Speaker 8 (17:18):
It's stressful.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
We're going to get we might get two inches, one
to three.

Speaker 8 (17:22):
They're saying between nine and two one to three.

Speaker 14 (17:24):
Okay, if it's less than six inches here in the
South and we don't even call the storm.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
I knew the mayor was going to be coming in.
We agree.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Yeah, it is ridiculous if you're only coming with three inches, like,
leave me alone.

Speaker 8 (17:39):
Yeah, it's us.

Speaker 11 (17:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:42):
They do call school so much easier these days, Oh,
they really do. But you know, this storm is different though,
because of the ice, the rain, the temperatures are very.

Speaker 8 (17:52):
Cold, and the timing.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
And the timing. Yeah, yeah, there's no school, but ever
it apparently has school a lot of place.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
We still do have school.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
What I'm hearing?

Speaker 15 (18:01):
Good morning, guys.

Speaker 16 (18:02):
I am a teacher in Everett, and we have school today.

Speaker 12 (18:06):
But that's not why I'm calling in.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
I'm actually calling.

Speaker 16 (18:09):
In because when Billy said about the boots, he forgot
to mention that we had to put our Wonderbread bags
on first have a great day.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
I don't get that.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
So to keep they put like plastic.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
Bags that the bread came and you put it over
your foot before you put the boot in keeps the
foot dry.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Wonderbread yeah, oh, there was a Wonderbread factory and more.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
The two big breads of our childhood were Wonderbred and
Sunbeam Bread. Okay, they don't have Sunbeam any I have Wonderbread.
Yeah yeah, I don't think mister Sunbeam is around anymore.
But you know, funny story. Okay, Justin, you appreciate this.
So we have a really funny comedian coming in this morning,
Jimmy Cash. I can't wait to meet him. He is

(18:53):
a janitor in the WORCESTERFT School system, right Justin. He
actually made the school closing announcement this morning for Worcester right,
seem two here you already.

Speaker 14 (19:02):
Know what it is.

Speaker 17 (19:02):
People have been talking about it all day Tomorrow due
to inclement weather February sixth, twenty twenty five, school is canceled.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Yes, yeah, we've got a snow day.

Speaker 17 (19:14):
We don't know whether it's Pat seeing his shadow or
all the teacher manifestations, but dream true.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
See the kids you're going nots already. See that's the thing.
Worcester could get like several inches.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
They always get the north and west right, Yeah, but yeah,
Jimmy Cash is coming in. He's got a show at
the wilbur February twentieth.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
He's a funny guy.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
He's really funny, and he does a lot of content
around being a janitor custodian and he's worked a long
time in the school system. He's also in sobriety, which
I like to Oh good good so Kaylekman at nine ten, Hey.

Speaker 10 (19:48):
Morning, crew, listen.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
I gotta tell you I love you guys.

Speaker 10 (19:51):
Maybe I'm listening a bit too much, But when you're
in the shower and you think of Justin with defeet
and Billy with the butt and winning with the belly button,
I don't know if Lisa wanted to contribute to the
morning shower routine.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
At all, what kind of show are we? Okay?

Speaker 8 (20:08):
I shaved my legs every morning.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
She does, do every single supple that creates some.

Speaker 8 (20:13):
Just keeps it smooth all all the time.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
You want to keep it smooth, layser hair.

Speaker 8 (20:19):
I'm not really that hairy, so.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
You Lisa has the softer skin on earth. Have you
ever touched her hands? No, they're soft and supple. I
just want to charge.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
You too.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Again, we're a different kind of a show, are What
was her thing with me and the butt? Because you
you know, we can't revisit bar you really okay? I
want to be very clear on the soap bar in
the butt. Okay, you can't do it until the soap
has gotten to a certain size. Would you mess around

(21:01):
with the full blown? Okay? Bar because you didn't specify
this when you first I know, and that's why I
thought it would be important to point out. I don't
want anybody getting her.

Speaker 8 (21:11):
Oh God, thank you for that.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Give me a shot.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
Yeah, thanks, Bill, Jamie and Josh checking in from the
Beautiful Gulf of America.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
In cant Coon.

Speaker 11 (21:21):
Hey.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
This one goes out to Kristin from Taunton, who seemed
like she was checking in from Aruba for like nine
months straight.

Speaker 8 (21:29):
How you doing now, Kristen?

Speaker 4 (21:31):
Okay, remember christ and Arba.

Speaker 10 (21:35):
It's Kristin from Aruba.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Still here every day.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
More and more people every day said, what's Kristen's deal
in Aruba? She's been there for like nine months.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
I know, we never found she was just an extended vacation,
but she would check in every day on the talkbacks
and rub.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
It in our face.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
And I love that. I love the pettiness of the talkback.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
How you doing that?

Speaker 12 (22:01):
That's the longest week ever.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
I'm driving into work right now.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
I'm as on the DAGs under my eyes are designer.

Speaker 5 (22:08):
Okay, there's a long weekend. Storm's coming. But coming up
next to our topic of the day. With egg prices
going up, what's something that you would pay top dollar
for it no matter what the price is.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
That's next.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Billy and Lisa every morning just went to wait.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
Okay, welcome back is the Billion Lisa Morning Show. And
by the way, good luck today. It's going to be
very slippy. We've got some snow, cold temperatures, We've got
some a nicy mix or something later.

Speaker 7 (22:30):
Only exactly nine to two that's your window, that's what
they're saying, one to three inches. But it's just going
to be messy, icy, rainy, snowy, depending on where you are.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
And whatever it is. When you're going somewhere, it could
be worse coming home exactly.

Speaker 7 (22:44):
Just watch for spinouts all that kind of just stuff
that'll make your commute worse.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
Okay, So everybody's talking about the price of eggs.

Speaker 8 (22:53):
I guess thyrocketing fifty more than what they were.

Speaker 7 (22:56):
You go to any grocery store at ten dollars a dozen,
twelve dollars dollars a dozen, depending on what kind of
egg you're getting.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
I saw eighteen dollars for a dozen and a half
at stopping shop that was organic. Yeah, I think it
was like whatever, but still eighteen dollars yeah for eighteen eggs.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Well, they killed millions of chickens because of the bird flew.

Speaker 7 (23:16):
Yeah, And like waffle House is saying that they're increasing
prices by fifty cents. If you're having an egg in
your in your order, you're gonna have to pay more
a single egg.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
But does that mean you have a waffle Is there
egg and a waffle bantner or like, is I also considered?

Speaker 4 (23:30):
I don't know. Well, let me ask you if we order,
like sometimes we'll order breakfast sandwiches. We did the other
day downstairs. Have you guys noticed a jumping price on
a breakfast sandwich because it has an egg in it? Well,
she uses your car.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
I don't think she was a price price.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
Oh my god. Yeah, that's the whole issue. I'm paying
the egg price.

Speaker 13 (23:48):
You are.

Speaker 7 (23:50):
But it kind of made us think, like, are there
things out there it doesn't have to be just food
things that it doesn't matter what it would cost, you
would still buy it.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
I have a list, okay, and then we'll go around
the room. If it's okay, it's your own list. Yeah,
and before I go through my list, justin when you
go to the market, Like, let's say you went to
the market today, do you look. Do you know the
price of things that you get? Would you notice the
difference for oload for bread or something?

Speaker 5 (24:15):
I probably would, yeah, because I go to the basket
market basket, and I get the same things every week,
So I would have a general idea.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
Okay, So me, let's say hypothetically, I'm stepping up to
a bar, and I want a glass of wine. Yep. Okay,
if I'm stepping up to the bar thinking and you
know what, I think, I'll have a glass of wine.
I'll pay anything. I'm the same one. And I don't
know how much you caught like, I don't look at
the wines. Oh, this one's cheaper, this one. It's just
I want a glass of nice white wine. Right, I'll

(24:44):
pay whatever it is. You don't care because in the moment,
I need a glass of wine. Okay. That's one of
the things. Yep, I agree with you on that. The
other thing hair products. Okay, okay, Well you have a
looked at the cost of whatever I buy or you,
because it doesn't matter. I need them. You have a
whole little bag or kit in the office, Yes, of

(25:06):
hair products. I need it because I have like just
thin thing. I've got the thinnest hair on God's planet.
It's amazing. If you saw my hair with no product,
you wouldn't believe it.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Well, you mask it well, because I wouldn't know. It's
that that it looks thick.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
Yeah, it's it's flyaway here it's the product. Yeah, it's crazy.
So that's a bottled water you got to have it, right, Okay,
what's on your listening? All right?

Speaker 8 (25:29):
Glass of wine.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
I totally agree with you, totally totally agree with you.

Speaker 7 (25:32):
My dunkin coffee, I'm going if it's five dollars, ten dollars,
I'm still getting my coffee. I use this stuff and
it's literally I cannot live without it. It's called Linaise.
It's that lip bomb. We talked about it like a
year ago.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
It is fully like it. Literally, if you put it
on your lips, your lips will never ever be dry. Ever.
There's no other product out there like it. It works.

Speaker 8 (25:55):
I have to have it.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
I think you introduced Linnaise to the world. I think, well,
not again, I didn't.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
But anyway, it's great.

Speaker 8 (26:04):
And then the other thing smart food.

Speaker 7 (26:07):
If I'm going to have a snack that is like
my addictions popcorn, Yes, with the cheese on top.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
Oh my god, you can't stop once you start. If
it was twenty dollars a bag, I would still buy it.

Speaker 8 (26:19):
I'm serious.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
What about you justin Uh? Yeah, I mean if you're
talking about food, I love hummus. Oh really your hummus?
Oh I wish I had known that. Yeah, we wouldn't
work together or even know each other. You don't like,
I love Hummus.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
You can not be in the room with humm Yeah,
I'm a Cedars guys, my favorite brand. I like just
the play original Hummus. But you know, I'll eat some
red pep pepper or you know, there's a hot honey
one that I had the other day.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
I saw on my cheat nights on the weekends, I'll
start with hummus. You cheat with hummus.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
It's like the appetizer that's hilarious with Hummas, that's like
a hell.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
It's embarrassing.

Speaker 8 (26:57):
It's healthy, it's not that low in calorie though in fat.

Speaker 11 (27:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
Time, So you go all week yes with your clean food, Yes,
and you finally have a chance to eat Yes, and
you go with Hummus.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
And my wife buys me a new container every week
and I eat the entire container in like five minutes.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Wow. Yeah, I can't stop. Hey, I'll pay whatever one
hundred bucks I have. What would you pay anything for?

Speaker 1 (27:20):
I have a lit I mean cheese Kaye factory.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
Like I'm going regardless, Like I don't know, and it's
it's pretty cost effective for.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
What you're getting.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
But I mean, if it's going to be a forty
five dollars pasta. I'm going and cheesecae factory.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
I don't care.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
It's my happy place. Also, not that we have a choice.
I think about this driving gas. I doesn't Gas is
going to be ten dollars a gallon. I gets them
paying ten dollars a gallon.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Yeah, it doesn't matter, you need it, so true.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Yeah, and I'm big self care girly. So my nails,
I'll get them done no matter what's going on. I'll
find the money. So those are things that But it's funny.
I passed up buying eggs the other day. They were
so expensive.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
You walked away from the eggs.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
I was going my eggs, and I saw how something
I didn't buy that not important to It's not that
important to me.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
Yeah, I guess they have to be. Well, yeah, but
there are some things you absolutely have to have. Gas
is a good one.

Speaker 11 (28:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
I never look at the price in the punk. If
I would have known we were making lists, I would
have made a whole list. You guys all have a list.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
All you gave us was I know. I thought we
all just chose one thing.

Speaker 7 (28:17):
Oh, I have a question for you guys, what if
cell phones like doubled or tripled in price.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
What would you do?

Speaker 4 (28:24):
Yeah, you need a phone, right, you need a phone.
I need one.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Especially on our our industry, we really need to like Yeah,
it's really important. I would try to find a way
to expense it.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Well, think about this. It's in the news. Some schools
around the country are banning cell phones in the classroom.
They're making kids turn them in, put them in a
plastic bag and lock it. Yeah, it's very distracting. What else,
Good morning guys.

Speaker 8 (28:46):
With the economy and everything, price that's going up, it's
getting crazy out there.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
But one thing that I would not change no matter
what it costs. It's five dollars. If it was a
bajillion dollars. There's a lap dance from Bill a Boo.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
I would love to see that.

Speaker 7 (29:02):
I would.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
On the one hand, I want to meet this guy.
But on the other hand, I'm afraid to it. You know,
you know, he never know. You might win the big
award at the end of the year.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
To come in to accept it. Pride.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
Wow, we are coming up on topic time six. Wait,
justin how do they get to the talkback mic?

Speaker 5 (29:24):
Well, you can find the talkback feature on the new
and improved iHeartRadio app. You're streaming us kiss you want
to join in the conversation, it's at that red microphone.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
Just record right into your phone. What would you pay
anything for? Topic time is next.

Speaker 9 (29:36):
Now it's topic time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
Okay. So we opened a topic a few minutes ago
on the show. By the way, welcome in and be
careful today. It's gonna be snow, it's gonna be icy,
it's gonna be slippery, it's gonna be it could be dangerous.
Just take it slow, okay. Okay. So we opened the
topic and all this buzz about the cost of eggs
because of bird flu and everything else. So people are
talking about eggs, and we said, hey, what would we
pay anything for? And we all had our own lists,

(30:03):
and now it's time to hear from the listeners. And
Justin would have be gotten there.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Good morning, Billy, Lisa, Justin and Winnie Alert listener Lily.

Speaker 17 (30:11):
Here.

Speaker 10 (30:13):
If the price of salmon rose up to five hundred
dollars a pound, I would still buy it smoked, canned,
frozen raw salmon all day, air day.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
I love salmon.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
Yeah, I love salmon. I don't know. If it's one
of those things, i'd pay anything for it. I go
to Haddock or something.

Speaker 8 (30:32):
I would do shrimp if I had. If I had
to pick a seafood item.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
Yeah, you're big with shrimp, cop I would pay anything. Okay,
so salmon. I love a good shrimp, right, so good calorie?
Oh yeah, fantastic.

Speaker 14 (30:45):
I would pay anything for diet coke. I have won
a day small bottle, not the leader. I look forward
to that. I have it at lunch. It gets me
through my morning. I can't wait for that glorious diet coke.
I would pay anything for it. Actually, I did a
couple of weeks ago at the Polo to New York City.
I think it was fifteen dollars. But it came in
a tall, thin glass, perfect ratio of ice cubes. It

(31:08):
was crispy, it was delicious. It was like drinking a
glass of crystal.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
I kind of want to die of coke now.

Speaker 8 (31:14):
Yeah, I didn't know that was still in existence.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Will I will say the coke for McDonald's the best.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
It's a dollar whatever, twenty nine, But if it went
up to like ten dollars, I might, But what makes
it so good. So McDonald's has a wave of they're
the only company that does this coke gives them a
canister instead of the bags to make the coke, so
they have in a co two canister so it's extra crispy,
whereas everywhere else is just mixing, you know, the carbonated

(31:43):
water with the syrup.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
Which is still good too. It's it's still great. It's
still good too.

Speaker 5 (31:48):
When I you know, I gained a lot of weight
because I worked at Friendlies and had unlimited process to soda,
so I would just drink the fountain soda.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
They all coke. Yeah, and if you missed it earlier.
Justin would pay anything for hummus. Okay, I don't know why.
That's all. That was kind of a crew ball. Can
somebody get my back on this? Okay, listen, Justin, I
don't fallow you for the hummus thing. I'm right there
with you on that one.

Speaker 17 (32:11):
I don't know what brand it is, but there's a
brand that does a carrot siracha hummus.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
I would give up sex for this stuff. It is
so good.

Speaker 5 (32:20):
Oh yeah, yeah. I think it's called Lantana maybe, but
I'll try it. I like all hummus.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
By the way, I happen to know the Cedars people,
the Cedars Hommess people. Can you hook a brother up?
Very nice people I can reach out.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Would you like homemade hummus?

Speaker 4 (32:35):
I love you?

Speaker 6 (32:35):
No?

Speaker 4 (32:35):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (32:36):
So you have a bex that used to wear working sure,
she was Lebanese and she sent me to my first
ever Lebanese restaurant. It's in Methuen or someone and they
had obviously hummus.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
It was awesome.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Okay. Well as your other Lebanese friend, I can you're Lebanese.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
Yeah, I didn't know that. You didn't know that she's Leanese.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
My last name is a Cory. Like, what do you
what do you think I am?

Speaker 4 (33:00):
I'm not like I thought you were a French. I
got to be honest. When I first first met Winnie,
I wouldn't have guessed Lebanese.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Well, my mom's white, my dad's from Lebanon, so I
favor her.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Okay, where's your recommendation?

Speaker 3 (33:11):
Awadi which our friend? It tastes like my Sitoo's grandmother.
It takes like her cooking.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
It is the best Lebanese suit I've ever had outside
of my house. It is so, so, so so so good.

Speaker 8 (33:24):
Romy's is good to have to say, Where's that a brand?

Speaker 4 (33:29):
It's a restaurant. Wow, I'm surrounded by hummus, peoples and
diet Coke for a.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
Diet good morning, it's Lucy here.

Speaker 16 (33:39):
The one thing that I would pay for, no matter
how expensive it gut, would be my membership to my gym.
I go to a cross at six nine, sixth and Gardener,
and not only does it keep me healthy, it keeps
my sanity and it keeps me from killing people.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
So it's a win win for everybody. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:57):
If I would have known we were making lists for
this top yeah, I would have shows, the gym as probably.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
We're currently in the process of making lists, so shouldn't
keep adding to keep.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
To be fair, shows and Gardener. There's really nothing else.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
I don't want those.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Isn't that the furniture capital of Massachusetts.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
It's like in the it's far out to the Mare.
She loves making enemies with all these town don't want
the turn of Gardener coming at me.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
I'm confined.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Is it a two hour drive?

Speaker 9 (34:27):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (34:27):
God, by the way, Gardner mattresses.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
Yeah, exactly, and they have a CrossFit yet all.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
Right, you are going on. Since we're talking gyms, I
was at a beautiful pilates facility in south of yesterday
called Studio seventy eight. You may want to check out.
I love plates pilates. Farmer. You didn't do pilates, did you?

Speaker 15 (34:51):
No?

Speaker 4 (34:51):
I watched. Yeah, well you have an injury. Yeah yeah.
I had to let them know right away. Yeah, you're out.
It's some stretching there. It's a beautiful play.

Speaker 5 (34:59):
And if you think of it, you've had a long
list of injuries that have happened while shooting your TV show,
right You.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
Want to know what's funny. Before we started shooting yesterday,
I said, I'm not getting involved. You guys have a
bad track record. You keep hurting me.

Speaker 5 (35:13):
Yeah, hockey, you fell and broke your shoulder with the kids.
You did something else too, I forget.

Speaker 4 (35:18):
I hurt my other shoulder playing doing a hockey commercial
with a couple of bruins.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Me, is any trying to kill you so she can
like have the show?

Speaker 4 (35:26):
I gotta tell you, I think they get a certain
sense of comfort at watching me on my back and
paying writhing and paint. It's funny to every You want
to know a funny thing about the Bruins thing when
I took the fall, when I was skating around with
the Beast. I absolutely forbade them from using that video
in any way I know I could couldn't find it.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Yeah, so it's nowhere.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
They deleted it and it's gone. Someone has it and
I'll track it down, don't worry.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
I have to say, getting food delivered.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
I feel like you can't even get a cheese pizza
these days.

Speaker 9 (35:58):
For less than like bucks.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
But as the primary cook of the family, if it's
one of those nights, if I don't feel like cooking
and I just want a hot meal.

Speaker 12 (36:08):
I will pay anything to have someone else bring dinner
to my house.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
So I love door Dash. Yeah. And see, that's the
thing about pizza. You'd never look at the price. You
just want pizza. Hey, you're having a pizza moment, and
the price of pizza has gone up, oh considerably.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
Everything's gone on, I know.

Speaker 5 (36:24):
But if you think about a large cheese pizza cost before,
it's it's way more now.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Because it needs tomatoes, it needs cheese. Everything's very good.

Speaker 15 (36:34):
Hey, everybody, this is Amy from Cedars. Thank you so
much for the Seedars love this morning. We'd love to
get you awesome hummus next week, or we can ship
some to your homes.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
You just let us know.

Speaker 15 (36:45):
I've already messaged Justin and the show on Instagram. As
a local family owned company, we appreciate the shout out.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
I told you Justin, I know the Cedars people, well,
thank you, Amy.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
And why didn't she message you, you know our so well?

Speaker 4 (36:59):
Okay, because she's listening to the storyline. Oh, okay, in
the storyline it's Justin and Hummus. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
I love Hummus. They're just my favorite brand. I like
the other brands too, but Cedars is just the best.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
It is so good. Yeah, you know, eat it every week.
I'm just saying I.

Speaker 12 (37:13):
Would pay anything for coffee. It doesn't matter ten dollars,
forty dollars, I don't care. What I'm really calling for
is Justin. I love Hummus too, and I was always,
thank you super against chocolate hummus because it just seemed
like blasphemous. I'm telling you right now, it is unbelievable.
With a sliced apple or fruit chocolate hummus. Give it

(37:35):
a try.

Speaker 8 (37:35):
Humma, where do you think, Where do you find chocolate hummus?

Speaker 1 (37:38):
I don't know if Sears has it, but I've seen
it at the grocery store. Cedars might have a really yeah,
I've seen it at the grocery store. Maybe mark your
baskets stopping chop.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
I'll bet there are people out there listening right now
who would pay anything for gualk right because I lock
people or guawk lovers.

Speaker 5 (37:54):
Cedars does have a dark chocolate. My girl Amy out
there over some hummusk with hummers for us?

Speaker 8 (38:02):
Yeah, different strawberries or am.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
If you get Cedars hummus with strawberries, I'm going to hummus. Okay,
hummus town baby, Okay, here we go.

Speaker 10 (38:12):
The one thing that I will always always buy, no
matter how expensive it is, if.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
It tripled quadrupled in price.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
Because I always need my sweet treat at night.

Speaker 12 (38:26):
There's ice cream.

Speaker 16 (38:28):
Can't live without it.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
I thought you was going to say sex.

Speaker 8 (38:32):
Yeah, no one said who's paying for sex?

Speaker 4 (38:35):
Well, if you had to you there are people.

Speaker 9 (38:43):
Just getting home.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
There are definitely definitely people out there.

Speaker 16 (38:48):
Definitely easy question this morning, what would I pay anything
for besides eggs, coffee, meat, French vanilla creamer?

Speaker 4 (38:57):
I got nothing.

Speaker 16 (38:58):
I'm ready to go walking around my apartment complex in
just my robe and look for some gotta have my
creama no coffee, no nothing.

Speaker 4 (39:07):
Wow, that's a coffee mate that doesn't say Boston.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
Gotta have my creama love Billy and Lisa kiss one away.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
Okay, So if you weren't able to check out the
entire seven o'clock hour of the Billy and Lisa Morning Show, justin.
It's always nice to take a look back. Right, Yeah,
thank you so much. Bill.

Speaker 5 (39:24):
I've been hard at work in my studio preparing my
little wrap up. That's how Winnie describes this. It's are

Speaker 4 (39:43):
You know, Lisa and I sit here just anxious till

The rep will say that because your big wrap up
the whole show is at nine yeah forty five. Yeah,

a mini wrap up.

Speaker 5 (39:54):
It's like my neighbor that doesn't talk to us when
my son who's eight, drives his bike by her when
she's walked, she just gives him the dismissive hand gesture.
That's winning. Anyway, what did you miss in the seven
o'clock Well, you missed a great topic, right. We talked
about what would you pay anything for egg? Prices?

Speaker 4 (40:10):

wondering what is the name of that lip.

before I know it worked. You're wearing lipstick. I tried.

Speaker 5 (40:45):
Yeah, I tried it at home and it was God,
it was a little glossy. I looked a little.

Speaker 4 (40:50):

And please go take a shower.

Speaker 8 (40:54):
Yeah, you're right, it is glossy, but that's why I
like it.
