Speaker 5 (02:14):
Also, you know, we're not we would never ask Lisa

that would just be inappropriate. Yeah, so we're not going
to do that, Lisa. Yes, so you know, all right,
but if you feel if you're willing to absolutely are
going to do that.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I'm not a pearl clutch.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
It is not for the pearl clutchers.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Oh it is.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
By the way, Ariana Ground, didn't we talk about this
yesterday that she's probably going to go on tour. Who
would she bring out on stage? While she's launching the
tour and it's coming to Boston. We're going to have
the date, the place, everything you need to know coming
up in the Entertainment Report. Also, Halsey is hitting the
road with a new concert tour. She's bringing it to Boston.
We'll give you all the information on that. We've got

(02:58):
Benson Boone tickets at eight this morning, he'll be in Boston.
I think it's Tuesday night. And yeah, we got to
talk about Lisa's book Club.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Oh my god, it was I have like afterglow from
last night. I thought it was the most inspiring night
that I've had in a long time because we were
all there together, our all of our listeners were there
and they just kept coming and coming, and like I
couldn't believe it. We had close to fifteen hundred people

(03:29):
at Big Night Live for Jodi Pico for the book club,
and it was just such a feel good evening, a
feel good room, great conversation.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
I've got to give you so much credit for this
community of people that you've created by way of Lisa's
book Club.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
These people are all so.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Nice and they all seem to like this show and
like us, which is kind of cool. We'll take that,
but very nice people. It was a really spectacular event
last night.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Yeah, congratulations Lisa, And yeah, I just want to you know, second,
what you guys said. Every person that came up to
us and said something nice and they loved the show
and they love being at the book club was very
touching to me. And I don't take that for granted,
and none of us do, like we're not special people,
but there were so many people that just said we

(04:16):
love you guys. We listen every single day and it
really gets me emotional.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Yeah, if you want to go to a real feel
good event, you got to get your way to one
of Lisa's book Club events.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Well, and I have to I'm glad you mentioned that
because last night a lot of the people that came
were first time book club people book club members. So
I've always been like, we need to keep expanding this circle.
And last night was a testament to that. There were
so many new people.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
Oh yeah, I love a lot of first.

Speaker 9 (04:46):
Time first time book club goer here last night was amazing.
Jody Peakle was really funny. She had a great personality.
Lisa asked her great questions and afterwards it even got
to meet Lisa at the bar next or that she
was gracious enough to see.

Speaker 8 (05:00):
The photograph with me.

Speaker 9 (05:01):
But a corride home, my friends and I were having
a conversation. I said, I swear Lisa was a backup
singer at some point for an R and B group.

Speaker 10 (05:08):
Can you guys verify?

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Yeah? Wow, yeah she was, wasn't It was a new edition? No,
a new edition.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Candy Calm, you look so sweet.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Lisa once actually was flown to a recording studio.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Where was it.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
It was in Cincinnati, Ohio, and it was with Blessed
Union of Souls Elliott Sloan.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I was on his solo album.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Wow, yep, backup Okay?

Speaker 5 (05:33):
I thought it was someone else?

Speaker 11 (05:34):
Everybody okay?

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Was there choreography and everything in the in the studio
when you recorded.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Well, we never went out on tour.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
The backup singers. Oh so it was the solo project
of Elliott's lun It wasn't the group one the group
song they had that song they did?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
We played it?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Oh so you sang backup? Yeah, I know that song.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Yeah, that's the song you were in. No, No, she
was in new Edition and.

Speaker 11 (06:07):
Alma was from the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 12 (06:12):
We we're back with A Villy and Lisa in the
morning on Kiss one O eight.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Ah, you want to squeeze into talkback justin No, let's
get right to the entertainment.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Let's go now the entertainment update with a Billy cops out.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Obviously, Sabrina's new album is the big story today. We're
playing songs every hour on the hour. Today we started
at seven o'clock. We'll keep it going all day long.
And don't forget Benson Boone has it sold out show
Tuesday night in the TD Garden. We've got tickets for
Benson Boone show coming up at a ten this morning.

(06:45):
Ariana Grande is launching a tour. We saw that coming
and we talked about it yesterday. It's her first tour
in seven years. She brings it to Boston two nights,
July twenty second and twenty fourth next can't wait.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
I saw her in the garden last time she was here,
and I had seats right up front. It's amazing. Gotta say,
it was really an amazing show. Her voice is next voice,
the dancing, and just the whole production. Not likely you'll
be getting up front seats. I'm going to be in
the balcony and that's okay. It's not a bad seat.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
And Lisa Arianna has another movie project in the works.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
With John Chu, the Wicked director, So it's coming out
March of twenty twenty eight, and it is based on
Doctor Seuss's Oh the Places You'll Go Oh, And Josh
gadd is also included in the cast right now, so
it's going to be a great project.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
So she went away for a while and now she's back,
bigger and more movies.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Wow. Halsey is launching a new tour too.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
She'll bring it to MGM Music Hall at Fenway November
two of this year. Oh and by the way, Lady
guy Got's new song, The Dead Dance is coming out
nixt Wednesday. She announced it during an event for the
TV show Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
I had a wonderful time working on Wednesday season two,
even just being a small part of the show.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I loved working with Jenna.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Everyone here is so incredible. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
I'm also here to confirm that my song.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Yeah, yeah, the song is featured in the show. She
mentioned Jenna Ortega there for a couple of seconds, and
Taylor Swift, Travis Kelcey, and Patrick Mahomes and his wife
all in the box for the Nebraska Cincinnati game at
Arrowhead Stadium.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
Here was the play by Patrick Mahomes watching this game tonight.
Dylan Ryola his protege on the field. How about the
newly engaged couple Travis Kelcey. We saw him on the
field pre game with Taylor Swift. It's Beyonce in the building. Congrats.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
So I guess that's the start of the Travis and
Taylor football tour.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Yes it is. It was good to see them out.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Yeah, And we're all at Least's book club event Big
Night Live last night. And I joke a lot about
this Least, but I swear this thing is growing so beautifully.
You may end up in the TD garden soon.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Well I don't know about that, but we had a
massive crowd. It was almost fifteen hundred people at Big
Night Live.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
And your conversation with Jody Pico, Taylor Swift came up
in the conversation it did.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
I like to ask authors if they had to pick
an artist or a soundtrack to go with the book,
who would you choose?

Speaker 2 (09:20):
And this is what she said.

Speaker 11 (09:21):
First of all, I will give a shout out to
my close personal friend Taylor Swift. When she released The
Tortured Poet Society, I was like, did you get a
bootleg copy of my book? Because honestly I could create
an entire playlist out of it.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah I could.

Speaker 11 (09:41):
Yeah, it was one hundred percent that book, and I
will always associate the two.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah. I felt the same way before I knew that
she had that answer.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Wow, And she had some breaking news during your Conversation Life.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
So when she called into the show about a month ago,
she said she was going to give us the tea.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
So she totally gave it to us.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
There's an Instagram account called post secret and she is
basing her next novel or book on this.

Speaker 11 (10:06):
This book will come out, I believe it's scheduled for
October of twenty twenty six, and it came about from
an old well it's now an Instagram.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Site called postsecret. Does anyone know that. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (10:20):
Okay, So post Secret used to be a Tumblr blog,
then it was a website.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Now it's an Instagram handle.

Speaker 11 (10:26):
Basically, it is this po box where you send an
anonymous postcard with your deepest darkest secrets, right, and they're
published randomly and yeah, you should go follow them as
wild but they can range from anything, like some of
the secrets are like every Friday, I come home and
I get naked and I stay that way until Monday
when I go to work. And some others are like

(10:50):
my husband doesn't know our second child, isn't his right?

Speaker 1 (10:53):
So like they run the gamut.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Okay, so ones ones.

Speaker 11 (10:58):
There was a post hard that said everyone who knew
me before nine to eleven thinks that I'm dead.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Yeah, I got hills when she said that, said that
is what the next book is based on.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
My mouth drop when she said that, I know, and.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
I have to confirm that.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
We have confirmed with her that when that book comes
out in October of twenty twenty six, she will be
doing Lisa's Book Club in Boston once again.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Deepest Darkest Secrets that could be a topic.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Well, I'm on the Instagram post secret right now and
it's insane, like the stuff that people are posting.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
Do we have any I have?

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Well, I like not like these.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Let's do it after your entertainment.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Yeah, we can do it. We can do a deep dive.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
After we will. And also for our listeners out there,
if anybody has a secret that they can share anonymously,
you can do it on the tok back Mike, on
the iHeart app send them in.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Yeah, we want some juicy ones, though, we want some
juicy ones. When are you gonna like this one? Backstreet
Boys in Vegas at the Sphere they're getting four million
dollars a night.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Good for them, but then they have to they have
to split it.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Well, yeah, but what's seven fifty each each.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
Per night, per night, and the nights are they booked? Four?

Speaker 7 (12:19):
Probably overall at least thirty Wow, I mean do the math.
I can't right now, but that's a lot each.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yeah, you probably can't anyway, Well, four.

Speaker 7 (12:28):
Times thirty is one divide by five eight tonight.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Yeah, speaking of boys, it's a Tomorrow is a New
Edition day in the city of Boston. They're having a
block party in Roxbury. They're renaming the street in Roxbury
to New Edition. Way, imagine that block party in the
streets of Roxbury this weekend, the renaming of the street.
You think Bobby Brown will be around for it.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
I would hope I would all of them.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
I think I think they are.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
All of them. Yeh big deal. Yeah, yeah, Mike's going
to talk about it.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Yeah, Michael Bivens calling into this show at eight point
fifteen this morning as part of our Labor Day spectacular.
How about Tommy DeVito on the field with the Patriots yesterday.

Speaker 13 (13:09):
Sure, all of you have probably met my agent at
some point, if not, probably will. But he was like, TD,
You're not going to believe it. It's like what he
said your comments of bust and he was ecstatic.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
You know.

Speaker 13 (13:18):
It was something that I had a feeling was going
to happen, something I was hoping was going to happen,
especially with where they were ranked in the claim's order.
So I was very excited to get here. I've had
a lot of prior coaches who have been a part
of this organization before, know a lot of the coaches
and people in the business, so I had a lot
of good insight with that and was really ready to
get here.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Tommy Cutlets, Tommy has a arrived. We actually had his agent,
Seawan Stillado on this show yesterday.

Speaker 5 (13:46):
But we were on top of things, aren't we, Ohn't we.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
I'm just saying Pat's first game, by the way, September
seventh in Foxboro with the Raiders. Red Sox beat the
Orioles three to two. They'll start a series with the
Pirates out at Fenway tonight. Kyle Schwaber of the Phillies
four home runs in one game last night, Trilly to
right field. He has done it for hard roots in.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
The game, three run home run.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
That's amazing. That is insane.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Wow, four home runs. Boy, he can hit a ball caddy,
what a swing? Hey, Labor Day weekend right Saint Anthony's
Feast kicks off today in the North End. A lot
of people like to check out the North End feasts
and we are commercial free all day on Monday.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
I want to relate people about that.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
And at what point this morning were we ready to
talk about the secret sound coming back?

Speaker 14 (14:45):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (14:47):
Yeah, okay, I'll tell you after nine nine ten. But
I mean it's no secret the secret sound is coming back.
We have a boatload of cash, real cold, hard cash,
thousands of dollars that's coming.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Yeah, we'll give you all the detail and it's one
of our biggest, most popular contest games that we play.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Most popular.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Can I take a leave of absence?

Speaker 5 (15:08):
I can play It's funny, will you were? You're gonna
talk about secrets in a couple of minutes and the
secret sound is coming back a lot of secret stuff
happy in the show.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Hey, it's all brought to you by the ninety nine Restaurant,
The Lobster Lover's Weekend of the Summer. The final one
of summer is this weekend. It's going on, so hurry
and visit the ninety nine restaurants today through Monday and
enjoy their famous colossal or hot buttered lobster roll if
you prefer with the free three course meal upgrade at
your final chance for a great deal on lobster. You

(15:38):
gotta love the nines and there you go. You said
to me, this is a se and you gave it
to me.

Speaker 11 (15:47):
Just like that.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
And Lisa, Hey, guys, welcome back. So earlier this morning,
we featured some of the clips from Lisa's book club
last night, and something came up during your conversation with
Jody pico Be because she had breaking news about a
project that I find very interesting and I think everybody will.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
So this book will be coming out in October of
twenty twenty six, and it is based on an Instagram
handle called post secret, and sheakes this.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Book will come out.

Speaker 11 (16:13):
I believe it's scheduled for October of twenty twenty six.
And it came about from an old well, it's now
an Instagram site called postsecret.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Does anyone know that? Yeah?

Speaker 11 (16:26):
Okay, so post secret used to be a Tumblr blog,
then it was a website.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Now it's an Instagram handle.

Speaker 11 (16:32):
Basically, it is this po box where you send an
anonymous postcard with your deepest, darkest secrets, right, and they're
published randomly.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
And yeah, you should go follow them as wild but.

Speaker 11 (16:46):
They can range from anything, like some of the secrets
are like every Friday, I come home and I get
naked and I stay that way until Monday when I
go to work. And some others are like my husband
doesn't know our second child, isn't his?

Speaker 1 (16:58):
All right?

Speaker 2 (16:59):
So they run the gamut.

Speaker 11 (17:00):
Okay, so ones once there was a postcard that said,
everyone who knew me before nine to eleven thinks that
I'm dead.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
It's that's eerie.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
That's what the book is based on.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
And you've gotten more from the way.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Give it a follow. It's called post secret on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
So one in one post from August fifteenth, I once
drugged my parents because they said I couldn't go to
a party.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Oh my god, My god, it's diabolical that.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Here's another one.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Okay, it takes me days to recover after a dream
with you in it. Hope you're doing well. Oh interesting,
here's another one. My husband is the reason we needed
fertility treatments, but I let everyone think it was me.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Oh my god, you think these are real?

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Oh here's one.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
I wet the bed at a sleepover. Thank you, Thank you,
friend for not ruining my life by telling my whole
middle school.

Speaker 5 (18:04):
Oh that's Billy. I went through that. Yeah, Billy went
through all that.

Speaker 15 (18:07):
God.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Yeah, I would beg my brother, but he had to
tell everybody every time I.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
Wet the bed. We've talked about this, you have for years. Yeah,
but initially that was a secret that you let out
on the air, that you were a bedwetter. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
And we've been racking our brains to see if we
have any deep, dark secrets. And I was in the
studio with Justin a couple of minutes ago, and he said, oh,
you know, I've got one. And I'm not even sure
if I can tell it. In fact, I don't think
you'll ever look at me the same once I do,
So justin what is it?

Speaker 5 (18:42):
It's pretty gross. Nobody knows this, not even my wife.
And before I tell it, Whinnie, is this going to
be put up on video?

Speaker 6 (18:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (18:50):
It could be if it's good enough.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
Ahead, what if I just say no? Go ahead? All right?
So I have a bad habit, my whole life life
of biting my fingernails. Yeah, I've tried to stop. It's gross.
I hate it, but I can't stop. You know, I've
gotten better at it, but they're not the best fingernails.
And I like it. I like chewing on them. And
since I was little, where is this going?

Speaker 2 (19:14):
What's gone on here?

Speaker 5 (19:17):
I'll take a shower, I'll get out, and you know,
once a week, once every couple of weeks, I will
clip my toenails when I'm clean, obviously. Yeah, and since
I was little, Whinny.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Please all right, all right, sorry, I clipped.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
My toenails into a little pile, you know, so I
don't leave them all over the area. And sometimes I'll
chew on them.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Oh you eat them? Oh god, that's so gross.

Speaker 5 (19:47):
Jail at your hold on, hold on.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
I think you should have sent this into Post secret.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Instead you gather them up in the shower into a.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
Little pile on my couch, and after I oh my god,
so some of them are still in the cow No, no,
no no, I make the pile to keep it clean, okay,
And then if there are any good ones that are
nice and thick, I want you on it and that
it's like the big toes like so much. No, I

(20:24):
just chew on them like my fingernail. It's my secret.
Don't shame me. There must be a name for this,
right a conditions.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
It's an obsession.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Yeah, I'm like not.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
So are you constantly.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
Looking down at your feet to see if they're ready
for a cut day?

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Yeah? I did it last week.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
I'm going to like someone try to help you out here.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
I don't need your help.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Well, I'm trying to secret. You need someone to help you.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
We got to call, we got to break. We can't
tell she doesn't.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Are you kissing her?

Speaker 5 (20:57):
I'm not taking any more questions.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
You can I ask you swallow?

Speaker 5 (21:02):
Can you give me a second please. Oh boy, Now,
it's a show. I do not labor day, weekend everything.
It's hold on, get Jen on the phone. I think
you should become clean with her on this. I'm texting
her it's eleven year anniversary today. How did I not
know it's our wedding anniversary? You buried the lead. I'm

(21:24):
about to put like the love you, I love you
message on my Instagram?

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Should I text her?

Speaker 5 (21:28):
Guys?

Speaker 4 (21:29):
Not celeb She's busy, she's doing break with a toe sucker.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
She's well, no, it's I'd rather know he's a toenail eater.

Speaker 5 (21:37):
Well, all right, you know what I am to all.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
What's the thing the pearl u prop cluture?

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Yeah, it's not for the pearl clutch.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
No, it's not. Listen, listen this segment. You tell me this.
See now he's attacking me for the secret that I
provided to the show. Does anybody else have a secret?

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Not like that one? I do?

Speaker 5 (22:03):
I can I tell a little bit more of it
since since we're talking so in the past, I have,
you know, cut my toenails and left a little bit
of a mess, which my wife hates. So it's an
ongoing thing in my house that I make sure to
clean up, so she knows when I'm cutting my toenails,
and you know that I do clean them up. She
doesn't know if you're saving. Sometimes I'll put one in

(22:25):
my mouth and I'll chew on.

Speaker 7 (22:27):
Oh, this is what's the value to it?

Speaker 5 (22:30):
I just I like that. I like the nails, so
my fingernails, but the bigger ones.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
That are okay, this is I just don't even know
what to do with this need to go home?

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Is it like, calm me down? You're anxious?

Speaker 5 (22:42):
It helps with anxiety. I do it usually when I'm
watching Instagram or.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
They don't have any calories and you're like really into
calorie counting, right, I think that's maybe why.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
But you're eating a chip. You're eating your.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Tone in right. But I did it as a kid
when I was like overweight and eating. You know what?

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Making your story this secret even creepier the fact that
we're all looking through the glass at you when you're
wearing Spike Lee glasses.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
And it's just, oh my god.

Speaker 7 (23:09):
You know what you should do because you have the
new metaglasses and everything.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Next time you want to show on your I'm not
doing it.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
You record it. Since it's okay. So in my studio,
I'm looking at the talkback spaceship. Yeah, and they just
keep coming in. That's good because coming up, we're gonna
let them in.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
Yeah, We're gonna hear deep, deepest darkest secrets and secrets
A guy I can't even speak.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
I just want I just want to say, Okay, I
have bared my soul on this radio program. Yeah. That's
the first time I've ever told anybody that if anyone
can beat that and be anonymous, please do.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
Now it's topic time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Oh, we landed on a hot one. Lisa, what is
this site? It came up last night during your book
club Post Secret.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
Jody Pico is basing her next book on it. It's
called post Secret. It is an Instagram account, so go
follow it.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
It's fascinating and Lisa has been reading some of the
best ones on the listed post Secret. I know Jody
had some good ones last night at your book club.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
The theory behind is that people send postcards with their deepest,
darkest secrets on them to a post office box, a
PO box, and now it's been turned into this Instagram account.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Yeah, do you want me to read some of them.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Yeah, you read a couple off air that I thought
were outstanding.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
My boyfriend is deaf, and when we have sex, I
scream my ex's name.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
Oh my god, oh my god, that's on there.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Yes, she could just say nothing awesome.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
Another man's name still doesn't be Justin's eating his toenails.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
But now there's so many. There's one here.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Every time I see your face, it reminds me of
how many years of my life you ruined, and now
you're an overpaid sports icon.

Speaker 7 (24:53):
And and the pictures over a Russell Wilson Weedy bottom.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
Yes, yeah, that sounds like a Sabrina copperd lyrics.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
Yeah right, well a lot of these sound like they
could be Sabrina Carpenter lyrics.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
Yeah. Listen, we all have secrets and sometimes you know,
you got to let them out or not.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
I don't.

Speaker 14 (25:11):
Good morning, it's the day of the celt Then, Justin,
that's the grossest thing I've ever heard of. You know,
some secrets are meant to be secret, that's why they
call them secrets.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Perhaps you should try a bag of chips.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Have a great day. Listen. I love this show, and
I love our audience and this topic came up. I've
been holding onto that my whole life. I've never told
anybody that. Yeah, if you're just tuning in, my secret
is that sometimes when I well, every time I cut
my toenails after I shower, I'll take some of the

(25:48):
toenails and chew on them. Yeah, the bigger ones. There's
something about them, like, you know, I'm getting recommendations.

Speaker 9 (25:54):
Not going to shame Justin for his secret, but merely
make a suggestion.

Speaker 10 (26:00):
What about sunflower seed? Shelly be a similar texture.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
No, no, no, they don't. They don't bend that way.
You've tried it, well, no, no, no, I just I've
had sunflower seeds and they don't bend the way at
the nail.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Do you like to have the hooky bend to the nail?

Speaker 5 (26:16):
I love it. I love the texture.

Speaker 7 (26:19):
When I was younger, I did bite my toenails, but
I was like a kit kid, So.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
I I kind of like when you stopped.

Speaker 7 (26:25):
I stopped because I'm an adult, but like as a
as a child, yeah, I would, because you know, you're
a little bit more flexible. I would literally just put
it to my mouth and you know, to chew your
toenail off to write.

Speaker 5 (26:36):
It you could reach your toenails.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Yeah, I was like, you know, six seventy eight. The
girls are.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
More flexible generally.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (26:43):
Look, we all have our quirks. We all have our
weird little behaviors that make us.

Speaker 9 (26:48):
Who we are.

Speaker 14 (26:48):
And that's okay.

Speaker 8 (26:50):
What I'm trying to figure out is justin where do
you keep this little stash of toenails? Do you have
like a little special container. Is it like a tupperware?
Is it like that special little like zip.

Speaker 10 (27:02):
Block or something.

Speaker 8 (27:03):
Maybe just give Jenna heads up, just so you know
some day she doesn't stumble upon a gruesome discovery pile
of toenails.

Speaker 5 (27:10):
Okay, okay, you want to go further into it. I
forgot you said you keep a stash. No, I don't
keep the sash when i'm cutting them. I will keep
a nice clean pile so I know where they are,
so they're not going all over the couch or wherever
I am because my wife doesn't like that. So I'll
make a little pile and then i'll find ones that
I like that are tempting, I'll chill and the rest
I'll throw away. Yeah, I don't believe it. I don't

(27:32):
have them because toenails. If you didn't know, I won't
have a shelf life. They get really hard and they
are unchewable after no, I just know from I probably
when I was younger, and now that I think about it,
had tried to save them justin. But it's not the same.
They're not fresh.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
There's a show called My Strange Addiction, and I think
you need to apply.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
Yeah, I'm not addicted to.

Speaker 7 (27:54):
No, no, no, but you know the way you're describing
like they'll be like, oh, you know, I eat baby
powder and if they consistency and the way it takes me.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
You sound just like that.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
And given all the other weird things that you do,
you know, with the weightlifting and the cold plunges.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
And everything else, I mean, this is just a weird
just added to the list. Listen, it's something that makes
me feel happy. I look forward to toenail.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
Is there nutritional value?

Speaker 5 (28:20):
There is no nutritional value, but there is some kind
of mental value. I would think it's calming. Yeah, it
makes me listen, you know what, I'm owning this thing?

Speaker 8 (28:28):
Just no, just no, no, no, no, okay.

Speaker 15 (28:38):
I literally just got my steaming hot Duncan Donuts. Order
my crystaic sandwich is just sitting here now, it's going
to be cold because I have zero appetite. That is
a secret you could have kept your.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Yeah, this whole thing was to be other people's secrets.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
It's been everyone just reacting to your secrets.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
I mean there's like three hundred justin buddy something.

Speaker 10 (29:06):
Some things are meant for your brain only.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Or for just a postcard. I like post secret.

Speaker 5 (29:14):
Right, Yeah, I know? But I do you feel.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Better about revealing it?

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Because I think the basis of this Instagram, in this
whole account is that once you do it, you're releasing
it into the world.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
It's almost I'm going to be honest with you. I
feel great, Okay, good, Yeah, I feel great. I held
on to this listen, not only that I don't want
my wife to find out. It's our eleven year anniversary
we are celebrating today. By the way, I love you,
Jen very much. I don't want this to put a
damper on that. But if she does find out, it
would be a weight off of my chest.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Okay, So I'll do it right now for you.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
By the way, can I get one more follow up question?
In sure?

Speaker 4 (29:47):
When you're chewing on your used toenails. Is there anyone
else in the room not aware of what you're doing?

Speaker 5 (29:54):
I have done it around other people, including my wife.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
You know you're doing it.

Speaker 5 (29:58):
She doesn't know. I might have had a pre pile
going and she can like it was done, and then
she came in and you were already gnarring on the
and then and then she has offered in the past,
and sometimes I let her but to cut my toenails
for me because she does it nicely. But I'll politely
the climb.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
So it ruins your whole experience because you didn't cut
the nail.

Speaker 5 (30:20):
I hate to see them thrown away.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Okay, do Owen agree with that? I should text Jen?

Speaker 4 (30:24):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (30:24):
Absolutely?

Speaker 14 (30:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (30:26):
Okay, we gotta get gen. Let's go to Andrea online too. Andrea,
what have you got for us?

Speaker 4 (30:33):
Hi?

Speaker 12 (30:33):
I want to support Justin.

Speaker 9 (30:34):
I don't think it's not bad.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Oh my god, thank you, Andrea, thank thank you and
stand down New Hampshire right now me.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
Wow, Hey, Andrea, are you married? Andrea?

Speaker 9 (30:46):
I am?

Speaker 5 (30:47):
Is your husband aware of what you're doing with your toenails?

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Maybe I don't think he'd be a surprised.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
I'm not saying I do it I'm saying, I support Justine.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
Okay, all right, okay, maybe yeah, this kind of I'm
a hot thing.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
Okay, She's not the only one. There are other people
that do it. Tell him, don't let.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
Them make you feel bad. Justin. I do the same thing,
but it's always after I shower and I just tear
off the big toe one because my nails are that soft.
But you just chew on it. You don't swallow it.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
You just chew on it.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
People chew on their cuticles, People chew on all kinds
of things. It's no big deal. At least they're clean.

Speaker 7 (31:30):
Your wife responded to me, Okay, I said, hey, girl,
did you know that Justin cuts his toes and then
choose on them?

Speaker 1 (31:35):
And she goes. I can't say, but like, w tf.

Speaker 5 (31:40):
Yeah, this is real. This could spoil the anniversary. I'm
gonna tell you some God, it's a big day. I
didn't even put the I love you post up on Instagram.
Might think this is hot. No, No, she's no, not
at all. Oh God, you're killing me.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Thank goodness. I am alone in my office right now because.

Speaker 12 (32:00):
I am audibly gagging and just yelling no stop out
loud after hearing Justin's confession not kind to be judge duty,
but the the idea of it just makes me like, oh.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
My god, Justin, you are brave for sharing that.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
Brave.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Yeah, yeah, I would go with brace and as I
do for this show.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
Irave crazy. Yeah, And we'll get jen on at some
point this morning, you know, the big reveal.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
And now you're as close you possibly.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
On animal right exactly, it's your your you're cleansing Justin.

Speaker 10 (32:37):
I bite my thumbnail, which is probably like a tonio,
and I love when it gets long enough to bite,
because I like you want it, I get it. So
I support you, my friend going.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
On out there. Well see, I'm not there. I knew
I wasn't the one.

Speaker 7 (32:54):
People people bite their fingernails all the time. But the
toe part is the fact that you do like a
ritual of cutting them, flording through them, looking for the
thickest one that you think will be the best one
to suck on or whatever.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Then do you throw them out after it?

Speaker 5 (33:10):
But let's look in Winnie's closet. Oh all right, that's
the thing.

Speaker 7 (33:14):
Wait, she just texts me, Is this why he won't
let me cut them for him?

Speaker 1 (33:17):
I have never witnessed tone, Well, this.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
Could be your first time today, for your anniversary, I'll
let her cut my name I never cut them, and
you eat them.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
As part of my gift to her.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Yeah, yeah, okay, yes, I don't even know what to say.

Speaker 8 (33:35):
Justin I'm speechless.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
I don't even know how to feel.
