is it your husband. I'm like, no, my husband is
in a coma. I could come to bed in a
chicken suit and you'd be like, size brass.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
He doesn't know.
Speaker 4 (00:23):
That.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
I had to be beeped on Kiss one Away.
Speaker 5 (00:26):

Speaker 9 (01:30):
Kelly was nice enough to I did my own comedy
special a few years back, and uh, and I was
looking to get into directing more and wonderful Colleen MacFarlane
gave me that opportunity and it came out so good,
and uh, it comes out this Sunday on YouTube on
Kelly's channel, which you can subscribe to a Kelly McFarland
dot com.
Speaker 6 (01:48):
Look at you, mister director promoter. There you go, launch it.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
He was the best director. And I mean, when I've
done some things, no, I will, and we'll obviously we're friends,
right or like little Bostonian comedians, and we have been
friends for years. And his special is so great. And
Will's just so you know, well, you guys love him.
He's if you've met him, he's just a love and
(02:16):
he's so supportive and such a real person too. So
I knew he'd be a straight shooter, and he'd tell
me what's what, and it was really great.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
We had a really good time.
Speaker 9 (02:26):
I also always have weed, so it's great to.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Me if you have that friend that's always like, I know, Ray,
I've been studying.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
Different everybody's studying.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Have you noticed that everybody? Everybody's like, oh, you know what.
I've been seeing it online class where now? If you want,
I can move your energy? Would you like move your energy?
I can just like move it. I'm like, no, actually
I wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Where's well? Where's well? Will have a gummy of some.
Speaker 7 (03:01):
Kind and a smile. That's why you are hitting?
Speaker 6 (03:05):
Such as are.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
You taking classes?
Speaker 5 (03:10):
No?
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (03:13):
Last week I was talking to someone randomly and I
said that my kid won't sleep in her bed.
Speaker 6 (03:18):
She's three, and the girl I know Lie goes. I
can help with that. I do Ki. I can come
to your house and saves the room. I can talk
to her.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Oh my god, I don't even so. I have a
friend who is a legit acupuncturiss. She's amazing that Valerie Smith,
wonderful acupunctress. I've used her. I have TMJ. I grind
my teeth. I'm a whole I'm so fun. Guys, get
you to right grind her because that holds you to
each other. The time I'm turning turn around, you're in
(03:51):
someone's daddy.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Oh gross, I mean.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
Never say Will is a new dad. Said that we
love Will and we do. But then he came with
new dad hair. Tonight, I have a new dad hair.
She's sticking straight up in the air.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
I know.
Speaker 6 (04:07):
I asked for.
Speaker 9 (04:08):
I went to super cousin asked for state trooper about
to retire, and that's what I got. You know, Hey,
I'm sorry I told you all that today.
Speaker 6 (04:21):
Is that on the menu?
Speaker 11 (04:22):
Thank you?
Speaker 5 (04:23):
A bar?
Speaker 7 (04:23):
Yeah, I was like, give me the number nine.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
They're so they're so exasperated with you, right since and registration.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Starro's not a race track.
Speaker 9 (04:36):
Look, okay, buddy, you know, I don't know if you
saw that yellow back there, but I saw it all right.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
Yeah, we're talking with two of the funniest people on
the planet, Kelly McFarland and Will Noonan. Kelly has a
YouTube special which launches this weekend Sunday, right.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Sunday the thirtieth, eight pm.
Speaker 12 (04:53):
So you this is listen.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
I learned all this.
Speaker 12 (04:56):
I sound so old by the way.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
No, I do my steps up.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
My son, my Michael.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
He is twenty, and he goes to you Mass sam Hurst,
go you Mass sam Hurst football team.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I don't know what I say. Yeah, there's no and
they're so bad. Yeah, they give out fireworks when they score.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
They're like, we get it.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
So he was home and he's home for the holidays,
and I got home yesterday and he was like, so, uh,
you excited about your thing?
Speaker 3 (05:30):
And I go, yeah, and make sure that you subscribe
and watch and he's like, oh my, He's like.
Speaker 9 (05:39):
No, He's like, you're gonna mess up my algo mom, Yeah, I'm.
Speaker 7 (05:43):
Gonna watch it.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Of course I'm gonna watch it. I'm gonna have everybody
watch it. I'm gonna stream it on the TV. I
was like, oh, how do you do that? He's like,
you should know that it's you. Like, I just don't
know anything. And the two of us having conversations is hilarious.
Speaker 7 (06:00):
Yeah, you know more than I do a little bit.
Speaker 6 (06:03):
So how did you special if neither of you knows it?
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Well, they don't know how to watch it?
Speaker 7 (06:08):
Yeah, I don't know. I feel a great thing. And
then we were like, how do we show this to people? Well?
Speaker 6 (06:13):
That was fun.
Speaker 7 (06:14):
Yeah, yeah, it's pretty you know, it's I've figured it out.
Speaker 9 (06:17):
You just go to YouTube subscribe and then it shows
up when when we're ready for it.
Speaker 7 (06:21):
But that's the whole thing.
Speaker 9 (06:22):
We need people to subscribe like today so they get
it on sundayfarland dot com.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Yeah, my last name is Mac Farland.
Speaker 6 (06:31):
That's a little picky.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
It's really not billy because what if people were spelling
your last name.
Speaker 8 (06:38):
B I L L E E.
Speaker 7 (06:40):
That's his first name.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Oh yeah, thank you.
Speaker 7 (06:44):
Well that's my job.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
I just go home from Kansas City. I'm real tired,
but I know I'm not even wearing makeup.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Sorry about that.
Speaker 6 (06:54):
We didn't know.
Speaker 7 (06:55):
Did they have makeup in Kansas City?
Speaker 6 (06:57):
Yes they do?
Speaker 7 (06:59):
If I say Travis Kelsey's wearing.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
Did you go to the game?
Speaker 13 (07:03):
No?
Speaker 3 (07:05):
No, I was performing, but I they really love the
Chiefs there.
Speaker 11 (07:09):
Just in case.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
You guys, they really love the Chiefs. Chiefs are hot
in Kansas City and barbecue.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Go to my website.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
So got enough with it again?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Wait, I want you to I thought you were going
to say that Will showed up with his dot dot
thank you.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
Yeah, that was what that's thank you the first in
the history of this show.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
One brought me and you brought the hair up.
Speaker 7 (07:39):
But he brought something else. Tom Brady doesn't bring his
kids in when he comes in here. He doesn't.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
I thought that you brought your baby and your sister.
Speaker 7 (07:48):
I did bring my sister. Yeah, I brought my baby
and my sister. In fact, the rest of my family's
in the car outside, and I was gonna say.
Speaker 6 (07:56):
You're here with the baby that you were thrown out of.
Speaker 9 (07:58):
The house and actually and sleeping in the parking lot.
My YouTube channel, Want to Wait, Van Life is coming
out next month.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
I brought my Amazon driver morning.
Speaker 7 (08:11):
He's cool, though, CARMANI like that guy. Laurel.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
I is your new dog?
Speaker 7 (08:17):
How old is she just turned one? She just turns on?
Speaker 6 (08:20):
How's that going?
Speaker 7 (08:21):
It's going good, it's going good. You know she's already
you know at iHeart Radio. So things are.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
She didn't like me at all. I know that I
tried my best to cuddle up and be nice.
Speaker 7 (08:33):
Yeah, I don't know. We watch a lot of nesson
so maybe she's senior at.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
By the way, that's dining Playbook on Saturdays. Yeah, this
is okay.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
So, well, you're directing this whole thing, and this is
your first gigs as a director.
Speaker 9 (08:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is my first time directing another
comedian besides myself. And since then I've done another one
with Liz Neely and it's become a new sort of
thing I love doing. I love working with these comics
and learning their act and just making you know. I
think I'm a comedian myself, so I just know what
a comedian wants.
Speaker 7 (09:09):
So I just kind of try and.
Speaker 9 (09:10):
Find Kelly's timing and pace and and recreate it visually
for the audience.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
Now, do you get a director's chair?
Speaker 7 (09:18):
Oh yeah, I get everything.
Speaker 9 (09:20):
I get a director's hammer that if anyone says, if
anyone gets in my way, it's it's plastic hamer.
Speaker 7 (09:24):
But I could swing it pretty good.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
It's a ball peam.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
Yeah, it's all h So, which one of you is funnier?
Speaker 7 (09:32):
Oh, Kelly all the way?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
It's Well, here's the problem.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
When Will and I are on shows together, it's like
we I feel like we're always trying to beat each
other there so that we can claim the opening spot.
Speaker 7 (09:45):
Yeah, neither of us wants to follow you.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
I don't want to follow away he's so funny and
likable and.
Speaker 6 (09:50):
Sweet and no, Will just needs to get home a baby.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Oh yeah he has the baby card now oh yeah,
and I'm whipping that car now.
Speaker 7 (09:58):
Define even if today, if I was late for this world,
I'm like this baby, I got this.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Look at this China baby. Look general feet so cute.
Speaker 7 (10:06):
Give me. That's the thing.
Speaker 9 (10:07):
Though, after one year, it's like that card's not working anymore.
Like if I show up and I'm like, oh, I
got a baby, They're like how old?
Speaker 6 (10:12):
And I'm like one.
Speaker 7 (10:12):
They're like, well you should really figure it out by now.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Yeah she's sleeping from yeah least it's right with it,
you know, spoken.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Like a boss.
Speaker 13 (10:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
I mean I get here at three, so I don't
know what you're Yeah.
Speaker 7 (10:24):
She's like every day, I'm fine.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
So I got to ask you about the title of
your special.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yea, you can ask me, hot Gnome, thank you, Hello,
I'm here.
Speaker 6 (10:33):
There she is.
Speaker 13 (10:34):
I am Uh.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
It came from this whole thing.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Where I'm four foot eleven and I was five feet
I lost an inch recently, thoughts and prayers and.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Seriously and so yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
I just I really body type Gnome like, yeah, there's
more of me than there are of others.
Speaker 7 (11:00):
Is that a box on the medical form like gnome?
Speaker 13 (11:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (11:04):
Yeah, that's so Caucasian.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
Yeah no, no, going forward, when you booked for the show,
and did you just say the Hot GNOME's coming.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
Yeah, the hot is coming in. Yeah, I'm like, you know,
I'm short, but I'm cute.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
You love a Gnome.
Speaker 9 (11:16):
Actually they're in the special two. We hid one Gnome
in the set, so it's kind of like an Easter egg.
So if you're watching the special on Siday, keep open
for the other Nome.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Yeah, he's on the stage with me.
Speaker 6 (11:27):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
The show is called Hot Gnome and it's Kelly McFarland's
for a special that I know of right Well, it's.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Not my first, but it's the first one I owned.
Speaker 9 (11:35):
And this is the biggest. This is a big theater.
It looks like like an HBO comedy special, which it
could be one day, but it is a huge, huge,
huge comedy special and it's just going to blow people away.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Long story short, I lost both my parents like within
It was almost two years to the day and my
mom was super sudden and my dad I kind of
lost him the day my mom passed away. This sad
real quick, guys, but I'm going to bring it back.
And losing both of them was just like time.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
You know that's going to happen, but when it happens,
it hits you like a ton of bricks.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
And Will and I have bonded over some of this
parent like you change roles, you know, and I was like,
I'm in my fifties now, I've been doing stand up
for over twenty five years. I respectfully write like, I'm
very happy. I'm happy with my comedy. I like the
way it's going.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
My life is really good. And then I had this
huge loss with.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
All this grief, and I was like, I don't know
what to do with this, and it just kind of
hit me that, like life is short, I want something
I own. I was like sat down with my husband
and was like, are we you know I'm going to
do this?
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Do I have your support?
Speaker 2 (12:50):
He was like one hundred percent, whatever you want to do,
and then yeah, just came together. So it's really it's
like a little love letter to like to them, but
also to just the fact that, like life is short,
do what you want to do and get yourself out there.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Just go get it yourself.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
And because you own it all the more we want
people going to Kelley McFarland dot com and checking it.
Speaker 6 (13:13):
Notice that little slide. Then okay, mister transition, that's your mate.
Speaker 7 (13:18):
You're good.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Yes, my last name is mac farlan.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
Lisa.
Speaker 12 (13:24):
Now the entertainment update with a Billy constup.
Speaker 5 (13:28):
On Kiss one, we saw the Wicked for a Good
Movie dominated movie theaters as expected this weekend. How about
one hundred and fifty million here in the US two
hundred and twenty six million worldwide. And by the way,
that's a new record for a Broadway to movie. A
project and Ariana grande Lease over the weekend sent a really,
(13:48):
really heartfelt message to fans.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
She did about the whole project. She said, becoming your
Glinda the Good and being asked to join the most
amazing group of human beings on a most creatively and
emotionally fulfilling journey was the greatest gift of my life.
I have learned more from my team with Glinda than anyone.
Then she goes before I go, Please remember, whenever things
get scary or you feel alone, home is wherever and
(14:14):
with whomever you want it to be. And there's no
place like home. That's where I got choked up.
Speaker 6 (14:20):
There's no place like home.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Yeah. So she really really loved this project and it's
really heartfelt.
Speaker 6 (14:26):
And justin. You did a peloton class with Cynthia Arrivo.
Not quite.
Speaker 10 (14:30):
She did a peloton class this weekend. I saw them
promoting it all my peloton.
Speaker 6 (14:34):
I have the bike. She did the treadmill. I love
the tread walking run. Yeah, but it's pretty cool. The
promo School's pelotone.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
I'm Crivo, welcome to a forty five minute.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
Walk plus run. I'm thrilled to be here with Natti
and a review.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
She's in such good shape and it's cool because she
was in Vegas anyway for the big F one event
and she went for a workout and said why not
turn it into a peloton thing. In fact, Jay Z
and Beyonce were there right at F one.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah, she walked in. She was in full leather. I
don't know what you would call that. Yeah, she had
the balloons out, Yeah she did showing them off.
Speaker 6 (15:12):
Went in Vegas.
Speaker 10 (15:13):
Jay Z's got the He's brought in that that look
with the dreadlocks. They just keep getting bigger and bigger.
His dreadlock they go higher and hire like the weekend
used to be.
Speaker 6 (15:22):
Oh really, yeah, it's funny you say that.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
Over the weekend, I was watching something and they had
a news story where the woman with the largest afro
in the world, she won an award or something and
it was the size of a small car.
Speaker 6 (15:34):
Oh, okay, it was pretty cool. I'm just saying, I
don't you know. I watched weird We had his stuff,
the biggest afro. Yeah, check this woman. Check it out.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
All right, Okay, you're gonna find it and I'll just
sit here waiting for the apology. Okay, But in the meantime,
Ed Shearon's one shot debuted this weekend, and I got
to tell you, I watched it back to back twice.
I thought it was so good, amazing and by the way,
only about an hour long.
Speaker 6 (16:01):
Lease.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah, it's easy to watch and it's seemless. His people
just set everything up so perfectly so he can just
walk from one thing to the next to the next.
He had a wedding proposal, he sang at someone's birthday party.
He was on the top of a double decker you know,
tourist bus, riding around New York City with his guitar.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
And when I was watching it.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
I was thinking, oh, this is kind of an extended
version of what he was doing here this past summer
when he went to Essex, Massachusetts, and he went to
a but they actually built a makeshift bar so he
could perform for fans.
Speaker 6 (16:32):
Did you find it justin? I saw you look and
you got it right?
Speaker 14 (16:37):
Okay, this avan Juduga and I am the world record
holder for the world's largest bathro Okay.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
It is true.
Speaker 6 (16:45):
What do you do with that?
Speaker 10 (16:46):
I'll walk in the bill land. You know it is
pretty big. Actually, is that her real here? Uh huh right,
uh huh, okay, anyway, go ahead, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
Back to Ede Shearon and his one shot. He actually
released a statement over the weekend talking about the making of.
Speaker 13 (17:01):
I think people like they will hear my hit singles
on the radio, they might come to a gig. Maybe
this is not many times I get to actually show
inherently who I am, what I do and riffing with
an acoustic guitar playing whatever. In terms of scale and impressiveness,
I do think this is the best thing I've ever done.
Speaker 6 (17:20):
In my career.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
You know, you can see exactly who he is and
what he does at jingle Ball because he's our headliner
in December fourteenth, and we have jingle Ball news right
new information on jingle Ball.
Speaker 10 (17:33):
Yeah, I know a lot of people are calling for tickets.
We're switching things up. You know, it's a holiday week,
a short week, so we're doing something different. It's your
favorite jingle Ball memory talk back for tickets. So starting
right now, all through this week, leave us a talk
back with your favorite jingle Ball memory and we'll pick
the best ones to win sold out jingle Ball tickets.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
We all have a few memories, yeah, we have from
jingle Ball, favorite moments of jingle Ball. It's been a
long time. We've been doing jingle Ball for a long time.
Olivia Dean is coming in for a jingle Ball and
over the weekend she was blasting Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
Speaker 6 (18:05):
She's furious with.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
The price of the resale tickets now, and who wouldn't be.
This has been a long standing fight by a lot
of different artists. When they see what their tickets are
reselling for online, it's almost shocking.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Well it's it's not being kind to their fans, and
they want to protect their fans and they want you know,
fans that you know a lot of people can't afford
like hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars. So I
get what she's saying.
Speaker 6 (18:29):
They're gonna bring back the ticket booth.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
Now, I'm telling you, I'm telling you old school stand
in line ticket booth. You know what you're going to get. Yeah, right,
my guys, this is Shawnte calling from Wayland.
Speaker 15 (18:39):
I remember the ticket booth.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
I was waiting in line for Instincts for five.
Speaker 16 (18:44):
Hours over in Summerville, and I remember they did wristbands
and how ticked was I when I was the first
one waiting in line and I got number like two
hundred and thirty seven.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
I was not happy. Bring back the ticket booth.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
I will wait in line.
Speaker 16 (19:02):
Give me number thirty seven insteads of one thousand dollars ticket.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
Right, Yeah, I remember, even for the Red Sox, you'd
go to Fenway Park to the ticket booth and buy
your tickets.
Speaker 10 (19:13):
Whatever the game you wanted. The thing is, you can't
go see your favorite artists. You know, you have an
artist that you love, especially a big.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Time artist, and you're priced out.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
Yeah you can't. You can't. They just resell, they're resold.
And with the ticket booth that was always face value.
It was you know, it's what the ticket costs, and
that's what you pay. That's simple. Yep.
Speaker 5 (19:32):
I looked like the ticket guy, Hey, get your tickets here, tickets?
Speaker 6 (19:37):
Can you leave me alone on the ticket front? Please
call somebody else? Why am I always the ticket guy?
Let it go another story.
Speaker 7 (19:45):
We'll just move on.
Speaker 6 (19:46):
We actually afro woman. Yeah.
Speaker 14 (19:49):
See, all of us ended up contacting me and asking
me to measure it. And the first time I think
I sent a video and it wasn't really that clear.
So I had to end up sitting the measurements and
now here I am and my hair is in an acro.
It is problematic because when I'm driving, I can't see.
Speaker 6 (20:05):
Okay, how do you get through a door? It's ginormous. Yeah,
it's crazyland. It's like the people that have the long nails.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Long see that. I'm like, how can you do your job?
Speaker 5 (20:17):
Like?
Speaker 1 (20:17):
How can you type on like a computer?
Speaker 6 (20:19):
How do you text?
Speaker 1 (20:20):
But I guess you just get used to it.
Speaker 6 (20:22):
It seems like it would be detrimental to your life.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
Yeah, well, Cardi B doesn't she have like extremely long nails?
Speaker 13 (20:27):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
Sabrina Carpenter took the show to Los Angeles. She had
four shows in LA and then the final show she
arrested sisa.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
I've got some competitions.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Okay, New Jersey says, you know what they say, it's
open season, so.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
I'm getting any clustered. Oh so that's for real.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Seems like her tour has been going on forever, doesn't it.
I mean well over a year. I think she had
four shows in LA sold out. Man try to getting
tickets to that show. Good luck on good Luck.
Speaker 9 (21:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
Post Malone has a new song out. It's called Cold
and he collaborates on it with Big X. The plug
Dranger Things Season five, Part one kicks off this coming
Wednesday night at eight o'clock on Netflix.
Speaker 6 (21:27):
The trailer for part one is out.
Speaker 7 (21:29):
We have a plan.
Speaker 6 (21:30):
It's a bit inscene. Yeah, we could go wrong, no idea,
but I think we should find out.
Speaker 12 (21:41):
Everyone in.
Speaker 6 (21:43):
I want to see that dis heart in the platter.
Oh yeah, Wednesday night at eight.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
I can't wait. Yeah, I'll be staying up late.
Speaker 10 (21:50):
Well, there's four episodes in part one, so you got
to figure each one an hour to an hour and
a half. I don't think we'll get through all four
of the first watch a couple and then the on
Thanksgiving night.
Speaker 6 (22:01):
So at eight o'clock Wednesday, four episodes and Part one
has four episodes.
Speaker 10 (22:06):
Wow, another batch on Christmas Day and then the finale
on New Year's Eve.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
Wow. So you know who's in Part one though, Big
X the plug and he's got an afro. Oh man.
Speaker 5 (22:20):
Okay, we're brought to you by Wilson Farm in Lexington.
They've got everything you need for delicious and stress free Thanksgiving, indulgent,
scrumptious sides, family raised turkeys, stundying floral arrangements, and don't
forget their amazing homemade pies. Go to Wilson Farm in
Lexington or online at Wilson Farm dot com and there
you go.
Speaker 6 (22:40):
Thanks Doug, Big X the Plug from.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
The Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios. We're back with
Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 5 (22:50):
And the holidays you're just around the corner. I mean,
Thanksgiving is this coming a thurky and people are starting
to think about entertaining and what wines.
Speaker 6 (22:57):
They should be serving and not serving right exactly.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
And that's why we of Alex here. She's the wine
director of ninety plus sellers in studio and she's going
to tell us how we can pick wines.
Speaker 12 (23:07):
Good morning, good morning.
Speaker 6 (23:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (23:10):
So ninety plus sellers is really all about a great value,
and we partner with highly acclaimed wineries all over the
world to bring customers a great bottle of wine. We've
got three here that we're focusing on today, and one
is a savin Blanc from France, which is delicious.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
I know, I know, I'm a savvy yes, savvy b.
Speaker 12 (23:35):
So I think if you like Sanser, this is a
really great option for under twenty dollars. It's light and
crisp and has that beautiful fresh acidity that you get
from Savignon Blanc, and it's way cheaper than I'm.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
So glad you brought up Cincere because I think I
love Sincere, but I always get Sevignon Blanc.
Speaker 6 (23:56):
Why don't I just get the son, sir.
Speaker 12 (23:57):
Well, Sancere is Savignon Blanc.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
That's it's it's a prettier name.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
Yeah, see, I already learned something. I can seem a
lot smarter at the holidays.
Speaker 12 (24:06):
Oh you're going to be, you know, so smart at
your holiday table this year.
Speaker 6 (24:10):
Okay, yeah, but.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
When I see bottles of Sansere in a liquor store,
they tend to be more expensive than that.
Speaker 12 (24:16):
Long oh and next year they're probably going to be
even more expensive because of tariffs. So look for ninety
plus sellers because you know you'll get a good deal.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
All right, So moving on. So there's a red here.
Speaker 12 (24:31):
Yes, we have a Boujelats village. This is also from France,
southern Burgundy. I think if people are looking for peano
and no war, you know that lighter fresh red fruit
and style, lower tannin, maybe want to chill this down.
This is a really nice option for people that like
pino noir from Burgundy and again under twenty dollars.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
And you said you can chill red wine.
Speaker 12 (24:53):
Absolutely, I would chill all my reds.
Speaker 6 (24:55):
Really, yes. I always thought room temperature no.
Speaker 13 (24:59):
No.
Speaker 12 (25:00):
If you chill the reds, it really brings out the
fruit in the wine and it kind of lowers the tannin.
So if you have something like a Cabernet, even a
little chill on that will sort of bring down the
alcohol and the tannin and let those dark fruit flavors
show same with a lighter style.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
Yeah, it's tie, it's really good, honey, We got to
chill the cab.
Speaker 12 (25:20):
Yeah, fifty five degrees.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Something else I've learned. I should be taking notes so
I can sound intelligent around the holiday.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Tame and we'll post this on the billion Lisa Instagram.
These three bottles that you can look for. They're readily
available at your local liquor store, or you can just
go to Total Wine. You can just go to ninety
plus cellars dot com.
Speaker 12 (25:37):
Right right, ninety plus dollars dot com. You can put
in your zip code, find out where these wines are
sold near you and pick them up. Again.
Speaker 6 (25:45):
What goes best with turkey?
Speaker 12 (25:47):
I would say probably this Bourjelet Village again, because it's
lighter in style and has some really pretty redfruit characteristics,
and it's lower in tannin, so you don't want something
that will overpower the turkey. This will pair perfect.
Speaker 6 (26:00):
So you're thinking read more than white with turkey.
Speaker 12 (26:02):
Or you could do a shard nay Shabbileis maybe or
a lighter oaked style from California. Yeah, we have both
of those options under the ninety plus dollars brand.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
Whatever happened to it?
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Just I love cheve and say they're still out there.
Speaker 12 (26:18):
Really, yes, I think they're gaining popularity.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
I think so too.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
Yeah. So if people are shopping for wine this week
for their Thanksgiving meal, you're recommending what one.
Speaker 6 (26:26):
Two, three?
Speaker 12 (26:27):
Yes, So our third wine is a Cremontdale sauce. So
for those that love champagne but don't want to pay
fifty five sixty sixty five, I mean, what is vufkliko
now on the shelf?
Speaker 7 (26:37):
God?
Speaker 12 (26:38):
Yeah, out of control. So this is made in the
same style as champagne, in the traditional method, and it's
bubbly and crisp and has toasty notes just like you
would get from a Champagne. Eighteen dollars on the shelf.
Speaker 5 (26:52):
And if you just say the word al sauce at
the diner at the Thanksgiving dinner table, you sound like
you know what you're talking about, Nancy.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Yeah, And I love all of your wines. The labels
are always so beautiful. Yeah, they're great to give us
a gift if you're going to someone's house or just
serve them yourself.
Speaker 12 (27:07):
Yeah, you're a great, great fan of ours.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
And I love ninety plus sellers. Well, they sponsor Lisa's
book Club, they sponsor Billy's Me to Me. Yeah, and
we are going to do another Lisa's book Club wine
this spring with all with a new label and a
new charity partner. So we're really excited about this and
they had me involved in picking.
Speaker 6 (27:29):
It's so cool you have your own wine.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
It's yeah, it's for Lisa's book Club.
Speaker 6 (27:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
It did really well last year.
Speaker 12 (27:34):
People were really excited and you got really behind it.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
So it was great. It helped a lot, So look
forward to spring.
Speaker 6 (27:40):
Are they chilled currently?
Speaker 12 (27:41):
I believe they are chilled.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
The building.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
You have the best job, Alex. I'm so jealous. It
gets to travel the world and drink wine for living.
Speaker 6 (27:50):
Let's let the holidays begin. Thank you so much for
coming in. This is great.
Speaker 12 (27:55):
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Thanks tonety plus sellers, here's everyonesa the morning.
Speaker 10 (28:00):
Let's get some chalk back leftover is justin the best
part about having ninety plus dollars on a couple of
minutes ago was the joy that Billy had in pronouncing
all the wine names.
Speaker 6 (28:09):
Anybody catch that lease, it's the best al Sace. He
just kept doing it over and over again.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Okay, il sas fancy bell.
Speaker 10 (28:17):
Anyway, I digress. Listen, we're slacking on the talkbacks today. Okay,
we have not played enough.
Speaker 6 (28:23):
I don't think. Let's go in a very busy show,
a lot of people checking in.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Hey, justin I'm wondering if the Turkey Toss is a
private or public event?
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Can anyone go and watch it? I would love to
see it. And also if it is public, where is
it going to be this year? Well, it is public
and you can come and see it.
Speaker 6 (28:42):
And it's at Assembly rowan Summerville.
Speaker 10 (28:43):
Yep, it's at Tony C's Assembly roll right down the
street here from the radio station. Starts at seven am.
I would get there about six thirty. But it's free
and it's open to the public. So we'll come out
of Tony Seas about seven. That's a big parade outside.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Family friendly.
Speaker 10 (28:57):
Yeah, last about an hour. And let me tell you,
it's one of the most exciting things you will ever see.
It's the Turkey Toss Bowl flying Turkey And if you
can't make it down to the event, you can always
watch it. I kiss went to wait dot com, so
there you go.

topic time.
Speaker 14 (31:33):

on her YouTube channel. You could find that Kelly McFarland.
But I love we love each of them, but together

Loved listening to Will and Kelly this morning. Will Newton
is like the nicest guy ever. I met him after
a show with the Off Cabet in Beverly in the
summer and chatted up with him about how we got
in the stand up and all that stuff, and it
was really awesome. As an inspiring comic, I do some
improv shout out to Essex Improv. So yeah, glad you guys.

Speaker 6 (32:43):
Hey, Kelly. Thanks. She's a little firecracker, isn't she is.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
I loved the two of them together.
Speaker 10 (32:47):
Oh they're the best. They're like brother and sisters. He
directed the special, which is cool. Also, this morning, we
kicked off a talkback giveaway. This is in honor of
jingle Ball and your jingle Ball memories. So if you
have a jingle Ball memory, I mean, we've had so many,
leave us to talkback at any time with the memory
and we'll pick winners based on those talkbacks.
Speaker 17 (33:06):
I would love to go to jingle Ball this year,
but I don't have any memories because I've never been,
so I'd love to go and create some new memories
and just be there this year. So hopefully I don't
have any memories, so hopefully this year I will have
some memories. So I'm really hoping I can win some tickets.
Speaker 10 (33:23):
Okay, well, there'll be other opportunities, but for this week,
it's all about the memories.
Speaker 6 (33:26):
You got a jingle Ball memory, so.
Speaker 15 (33:28):
I unfortunately don't have any jingle Ball memories yet, but
my coworker and I have been trying to win these
tickets every single day since this contest has started. We
teach first grade and we have been calling before work,
during our lunch after work.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
So we are dying to make some memories jingle Ball
and we hope we win.
Speaker 6 (33:55):
I know it's hard. It's hard.
Speaker 10 (33:56):
We will give away more, but this week it's a
short week holiday and you know, jingle Ball is the
traditional least so a lot of people have memories. I
have my own memories. We all have memory, so we
want to hear yours. That's what this is all about
this week, So leave a talk back for that anything else,
Bill big X.
