Speaker 1 (00:00):
He welcome back everybody. Sorry, but it's cold out there.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
It is cold out there, biting cold. It was eight
degrees when I got in my car. It was below
zero when you got yours justin.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Yeah, it was negative three when I got in the
car this morning, and I have a giant crack across
my windshield. It's got to be related to the cold, right, Yeah,
definitely interesting.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
It could be the coldest week of like the century,
and the folks here decided this would be the week
to turn off our heat. They literally put governors on.
We saw the guys here last week, right, and they
were putting governors on the heating system. I'm telling you,
I'm going to get a barrel and fill it with
trash and set it on fire. You know how they
do it, And then we all stand around the barrel.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Yes, I'm off for it because I cannot feel my
hands or my feet.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, you stand around the barrel and you're rubbing your hands,
and we gotta thank our friends from Tata Cating. Jamie,
if you're out there, you heard us talking about how
cold we have. Winnie is in a complete ski coat.
Get down to her ankle.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, I have my coat on.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Lisa has a fur and I'm in a shacket lined
with flannel. So ta te catering. Thank you so much, Jamie.
He brought us some hot coffee, some quassle, and a
bunch of other stuff. So here we are. Now. We
don't do a lot of politics on this show. I
am a big fan of the political system. So I

(01:20):
was watching, and I think you were at least the inauguration.
I started at seven yesterday morning and I was still
watching at ten thirty last night.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Are you always you always watch always?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
I'm a fan of the system.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
Did you you have a life?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I mean, it's you know, it's a big deal.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
It was called out.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
It was freezing out.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
So we were talking though yesterday when we were watching
all of this, like everyone every important person in the world.
We're talking bezos, We're talking Tim Kok, the president, the
former presidents, like everyone was in one room.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
What if something happened.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
So then Billy and I were starting to talk about
the role of the designated survivor. There always is one.
They always pick one person to stay behind someone who's
not there. So I went into the Google sphere and
I asked who was the designated survivor yesterday, Well, you
know what popped up? For Trump's second inauguration, no designated

(02:15):
survivor was selected.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
That's inst So what would have happened if there was
an incident? Who would be running the country.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
I don't know, because you know, there's a whole show
based off this show.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
It was so great than you for going back.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
The designated survivor for the twenty twenty one inauguration was
never revealed, but for Trump's previous inauguration in twenty seventeen,
there were two designated survivors, Homeland Security Secretary, which was
chosen by Barack Obama, and then Senator Orrin Hatch, who
was chosen by Trump. But according to Channel four in
New York, they're saying that there was no designated survivor selected.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
And least is right.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
At one point yesterday, we always call each other back
and forth. I was calling you justin I'm sorry. When
Eddie can call.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
You, you never call me.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
But it hit me. I turned to Michelle and I said,
the entire power of the nation is in one room,
and I'm talking about every element of this country. The
top people were all in one room. And that begged
the question who's the designated survivor and there wasn't one.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
It seems very risky, doesn't it.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yes, yeah, yeah, if God forbid everything went down, who
would who would be running things?

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Question for you, is it because it was inside? Do
you think it was more contained they felt safer?

Speaker 6 (03:32):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:32):
To me, inside, it's an easier target.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Well, this this news story says NBC News learned that
there was no government officials set aside for yesterday swearing in,
and there was no immediate explanation given as to why.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Wow, interesting, wow, Well they they don't even care.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Who could Who could it have been? Maybe the Hawk
Tour girl were left with the Hawk t girl.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Isn't she getting arrested for like fraud?

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Then it's with everybody or a.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Coin which Trump just last Yeah, a meme cryptocurrency.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
But think about you had the entire Congress in there, right,
and then you had the whole tech world in there
between Bezos and Elon Musk and Zuckerberg, and you had
the CEO of TikTok in there.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
I'm trying to think of somebody and I can't.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Well, it's normally someone in the cabinet, it is. So
it was like twelve people. I don't know how many
people were in the cabinet. I'm not a political person,
but I mean, you did Home security, defense all that.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
I don't know everybody but the Supreme Court justice everybody
was there.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Oh, Michelle Obama wasn't there. Maybe it was Obama.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Maybe she could step in.

Speaker 5 (04:37):
I don't I would love that. I would love to
either way.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I'm dying on.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Whether the rumors are they're they're splitting up. Yeah, I
don't want to talk about it. That's the.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
Oh, they're such a sweet couple together.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
You know what Another rumor was because she was in Hawaii. Uh,
she may have had plastic surgery and didn't know that
there was a funeral were coming up, because don't forget
she skipped the Carter funeral, which I think is bigger.
I mean, I can understand to some degree the inauguration,
but the Carter funeral.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
I don't think she would skip it on purpose.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
That's what I mean. So maybe she had surgery and
couldn't leave the house.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah, Okay, interesting thing. Okay, several months ago, back in
the summer, I'm not going to reveal any sources, but
a little birdie told us that Giselle was pregnant. This
is before it got announced. Yes, okay, and then turns
out a few months later, Gizelle is pregnant, right. Yeah,
that same Birdie at that same time told us not

(05:36):
only is Jizelle pregnant, but Barack and Michelle are going
to be divorcing, but they're waiting till after the election
to announce it.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
I did hear that, Joel.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
I don't know if one came true. And now all
of a sudden she's missing it's after the election.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I'm just saying, it's weird watching him walking around alone
because you're so used to seeing the Obamas.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
For twenty years.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
The Carter funeral, I was shocked about. Irish shocked too, Yeah,
I mean, come on, and of.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
Course she went to the first Lady Carter's funeral last year.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
Yeah, okay, Joslyn Rosalind Okay, But wasn't didn't it strike
you weird when they showed you Barack walking alone?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Yeah it was.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
It felt right down the hall of the Capitol Building.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
And yeah, he will be the most eligible bachelor, all
the old ladies will be.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
The whole scene is going to change.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Part of that another part of the story that was
part of the leak I'm going to tell you had
to do with Barack that he is dating an A
list celebrity actress.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Okay, yeah, I saw that.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
I saw it.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I say, yeah, Jennifer Aniston.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
I don't I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
This is just that that is.

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Oh, I couldn't connection, I don't wow, imagine.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Okay, this is speculation, Okay, getting mad at the Only.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Reason I'm bringing it up is because the same bird
he told two different things, and the gizelle thing came true,
and the other one was that the Obamas were going
to get a divorce after the election. Here we are
after the election, and what's going on.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Do we know who the birdie is?

Speaker 3 (07:15):
I know, I can't say, but it's somebody that's connected
inside that world. That's all I'll say.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
You know who the birdie is?

Speaker 3 (07:21):
I don't know. No, no, no, I don't know anything.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
Perez Hilton told you this.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Why does that matter who it is?

Speaker 5 (07:28):
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Bell he's around, Yes, he does, well, he exists, Yeah,
very much.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
Yeah, he really has taken on to like the TikTok
like online world for media, like he always has.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
More will be revealed, Yeah, that's all.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
But you know, I tell you I have an incredible curiosity.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Yeah. Well, you know, once we find out what's going on,
if it is in fact true, you can say you
heard it here, and if not, you can call us liars. Well,
not us, but the birdie. Yeah, you know, so crazy. Anyway,
great stories up next to feel Good Story, New Meetings,
to the term right Place, Right Time, that story.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Next to kids Went Away with the Billy and Lisa's
weird Stories. Well, my weird story is actually a heartfelt story.
It happened in Rhode Island over the weekend. A couple
were on the beach and obviously he was proposing to her.
There was a woman, a photographer there, just taking pictures
of birds and surfers, and she saw this whole thing
go down. She took the photo and then left the beach,

(08:27):
and then she went back to her house and looked
at the photo and I guess it was needed.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yeah, the their photographer canceled that morning, they had no
one there went there. Talk about right place at the
right time.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
It was such a blessing that I had like to
cry again.

Speaker 8 (08:42):
And then someone was able to capture this moment because
I was honestly really nervous that it wasn't going to
be captured.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
So this woman was able to track this couple down
and give them the photo.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Yeah, she found them on Facebook, but she didn't know
that their.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Photographer had canceled.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
She was just trying to reach out and be nice
because she thought it was a cute picture of them
and she wanted them to have it.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
And so it's awesome.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
That's awesome. I remember we when I got married, we
had a photographer and she did a beautiful job. And
then weeks or months after our wedding, she had sent
us a huge framed picture of us that was not
part of the planet, was just an added extra. So yeah,
shout outs to all the photographers. Shout out.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Speaking of engagements, our friend Mike Rocket Salem one a
front hotel. His son Thomas Rockett got engaged to Courtney
over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I bet they had a photographer.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I'm not so sure they He popped the question, got
on one knee on the beach Devereux Beach. I think
it was based on the picture in Marblehead and then
they had a little party that follows.

Speaker 7 (09:40):
Yeah, congratulations, So congratulations to Thomas and Courtney.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
And now this guy in Wellesley walking his dog last
week when it ran out on a frozen lake that's
always scary, fell through the ice. He tried to save it,
he fell through, but thankfully both there. Okay, And here's
Tommy's owner, Ed Berger right here.

Speaker 9 (09:59):
Nothing more horrific than not being able to get to
your dog. And there was a dock that made its
way out to the ice, and the dog saw and
birds and just went for it. He was probably in
the water for twenty five thirty minutes. I think I
was probably in there for ten or fifteen.

Speaker 10 (10:12):
My cossage in this case is if your dog goes
in the water, call nine one one and.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Wait for help to come.

Speaker 9 (10:19):
And you can see from the video that just absolutely
so well trained. I mean, it was just like two
guys I was hanging out with, like, okay, do this
They mean they executed flawlessly.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
All due respect. You can't wait for nine to one one.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
I don't think so either.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
My Titus fell in the water last winter in the
harbor in Charlestown. You jump right in, well, we dressed.
You got to jump right in.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Well, that's your instinct. You just go right in.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Oh boy, Oh, everything's okay.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
You're going to stand there and wait, I'm sorry, go ahead, Winnie.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
So this is an interesting story. So a nineteen year
old in Wisconsin is facing arson charges for setting a
fire to a congressman's office because of the Ta Talk band.
So he did three hours after TikTok went dark, which
it only went dark for twelve hours. Right, So this
kid probably he learned a very very good lesson. But
here's the congressman talking about it.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
I got a call earlier this morning.

Speaker 11 (11:12):
Apparently last night, around one o'clock, some nineteen year old
from a nash She came down and decided to try
to set our office on fire. They didn't get in
the office, but nevertheless there was a lot of smoke
in the office, which is obviously going to result in
a lot of damage. A lot of the siding and
air conditioner look like they're quite damaged. I suppose in
today's world, you know, things just keep getting worse, and

(11:34):
rather just call my office and saying let's open up TikTok,
he decided to try to burn it down.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Yeah, this was a big deal. With TikTok being banned
for the show of Time it was. You know, a
lot of people make money on TikTok, you know, influences,
that's their career.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Didn't I say it affected like one hundred and seventy
million people many, Well.

Speaker 5 (11:52):
There's one hundred and teny million American users.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
You know.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Then it came back.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
So I like TikTok. We're coming up on the entertainment.
We'll touch on the inauguration mostly the fashion stuff right lates,
exactly what people were wearing, and a lot of the performances.
One of them didn't go very well. I don't think
a couple of them didn't go that well. Actually two
of them didn't go very well. We've got that up next.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Tan By. Hey, it's Jimmy found a wet them in Boston.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
I like to listen to Billy and Lisa in the
morning on Kiss Went Away.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Hey, Lisa, Lisa, how you doing.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
You get your big book Club event tomorrow night. Yeah,
mel Robbin's coming to town.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
This is gonna be fun.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
That's a hot ticket. If you got tickets, you're lucky.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
I was at a party last week and everyone was
talking about the book and I said, oh my god, yes,
me and my friends are going and they were like
dead stop in their tracks and were like, how.

Speaker 12 (12:43):
Did you get tickets?

Speaker 5 (12:44):
It sold out in like five minutes.

Speaker 6 (12:46):
I said, I don't know, I just have I was
listening and I knew and I went on and got them.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (12:52):
Wow, the entertainment updates with the Billy Cops out.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Mel Robbins is so big right now. She probably has
a motorcade that leaves the Logan Airport, you know, like
six seven cars flashing lights. I mean, it's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
We were just talking about that there was no designated
survivor at the inauguration. Who would it be? Why not
Mel Robbins?

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah, I see, sir.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
Well, she was huge before she got here, before you know,
she came to visit us, and then since the last
two months.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
It's really up. Yeah, it's really since like mid December. Yeah, yeah,
it's just been what.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Does everybody have to know if they're going tomorrow night
or even if they're not going.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Okay, So if you have a ticket five thirty doors
open at Big Night Live. The stream will start at
six thirty with my Q and A with Mel, and
that's pretty much all.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
You need to know.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Wow. Speaking of motorcades have to talk a little bit
about the inauguration all day, well into the night last night.
President Trump was sworn in yesterday and over the weekend
he brought TikTok back to life because it did go down.
How long was it down.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
Winning It was maybe fifteen hours?

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Wow, I think really twelve. But so he's got a
temporary deal, a ninety day deal to make a deal
with the TikTok CEO or it all falls down and
goes dark again. Here's Trump and as of today, TikTok
is back.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
So I like TikTok.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
And we were talking earlier basically the power of the nation,
all fields, all categories, all departments were gathered in one place.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
My poor wife, who was a TikTok user, she loves TikTok.
She posted on her story that vity clip of Trump
talking about I like TikTok, and she is the most
non political person, like, she does not care. She cares
about being a mom, That's what she cares about it.
She posted as like she thought it was funny, you know,
and then they started attacking her and she's like looking

(14:46):
at it, reading to me, She's like, why are they
yelling at me, and I'm like, that's a tough climate
right now.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Yah, yeah, it just is tough.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
But this wait real quick, we just have to make
it like that. He did literally put this into action
a couple of years ago. This is his thing to
ban TikTok, and now he's saving it. Isn't that just serendipitous.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Well, but by saving it, he might get five hundred
billion for the country.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
But he could have kept it that well, that's whatever
it is, what it is, but he did put the
it out there to begin with.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Well, TikTok is on.

Speaker 5 (15:16):
It's very calculated what I'm saying, it's on.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
He likes TikTok. That's all that matters, So I liked it.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
We got to talk about Malania's hat because everybody was
and it's weird. The country seemed to be divided on
the hat least, it's.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
All anyone wanted to talk about. What's with the hat?
So this guy named Eric Javits created it. He's, you know,
a US based designer, American designer. All of her clothes
yesterday were American designers. Even the dress she wore last
night was from a designer Pierre born in France, but
an American citizen. You know, I thought that the look
was like very militaristic. I just I honestly, I wasn't

(15:55):
a fan.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Of the hat.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Yeah, I didn't like the hat. I couldn't see her face.
She's such a beautiful face. This was such a a.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Moment for them that was like, why are you covering?
Why are you covering yourself up?

Speaker 1 (16:08):
It was very severe, very fit. Was kind of severe.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
It was like it was like a military I felt.
I felt like very military.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Justin and I decided she looked like the Hamburglar, not Hamburgler.

Speaker 11 (16:23):
The Hamburgler is very clever and very sneaky.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
But the double breasted I think it made sense of
it outside maybe that's the original thing.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
She was inside the whole time, even at the lunch,
didn't take.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
The hand, never took the hat off. When she changed.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
The named Pierre.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Whoa go Pierre, Carrie Underwood. There was a well, first
of all, before we leave the whole dressed thing, Laurence Sanchez,
uh like, I mean, she was exploding out of her
blouse and she made sure we knew it. Uh So
everybody was kind of peaking. And Zuckerberg went viral because

(17:07):
he was busted peaking.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Well they got him. They got him on camera literally
giving the side eye, trying to sneak a peek.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
And that's everywhere. Couldn't help it. I kept thinking, if
I were there, you're almost like drawn right there.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
It's so true, it was right there. I've been taking.

Speaker 5 (17:22):
I feel like Jeff Bezos gets like some weird satisfaction
out of it.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
I think so too.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Definitely.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
I go from his first wife, who was, you know,
your modern day mom, you know, and then now to
Lauren Sanchez, who he just wants her to keep showing
her boobs. It's very weird.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Well the internet has now, you know. He starts using
the term now for Zuck Zuck the cook.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
Oh, that's.

Speaker 7 (17:51):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
And then there was a moment with Carrie Underwood. There
was a lot of talk about Carrie Underwood too. I
didn't think there was a reason for it, but anyway,
she would schedule to sing America the Beautiful at the
inauguration and they say please welcome Carrie Underwood, and everything
was very formal, you know, and she comes walking down
the aisle and is about to sing, and the music

(18:13):
came on for like a split second and cut right off. Yeah,
it was a glitch. Somebody screwed up. The audio guy's
probably looking for a job this morning. Well, they didn't
do the test they get you got to do the
audio test in the house front of house one too, did.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Not do the test.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Now, so I thought it went even better without the music,
because you know, she sang at a cappella and asked
everybody to sing along. Come on, you all know the words.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
She sound great and it sounded I thought it sounded great.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
It seemed to have even more meaning. Yeah, when she
did it a cappella. Nelly performed. I didn't know he
was a part of the list of performers. Yeah, but
he performed. Snoop performed at the the Crypto Ball and
Jason al Dean I saw him performing. Kid Rock did
his thing. Billy Ray Cyrus was it in the lineup.

(19:00):
I have no idea why, but I'm sure they're wondering
why this morning. Here's how that went down.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Don't take my halls to the town road. I'm going
I can't no more.

Speaker 6 (19:14):
You'll can put your hands together and now like that,
if you encourage you about keep going.

Speaker 9 (19:19):
They told me to kill as much time as possible,
so does anybody.

Speaker 8 (19:23):
Know the words he breaking your heart?

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Well, man tied a little bit, unless, Hey, is my
guitar still on? I think they cut me off?

Speaker 5 (19:33):
Does he sound drunk?

Speaker 1 (19:35):
It's something going on.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Something's going on.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
What is my thinking when.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
They don't talk?

Speaker 2 (19:42):
No, she's she's team.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
Yeah, they took a side with their parents, divorest team.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Is this thing still on?

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Well? If you must ask, must ask, Billy. No, we
we shut it down. We just shut it. Did they
launch a Trump crypto coin in the middle of everything else?

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Justin well? Trump announced it on his X page, Twitter
X page the Trump coin. It's a meme coin, right,
and it went up quickly, seventy billion in valuation. Man,
so a lot of people were investing early, including Dave Portnoy.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Oh yeah, he put in a half million and double
down on his money.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
All right, quick update here.

Speaker 8 (20:22):
I'm trying to think of the most American thing that
can happen to an American, and I think I got
it last night, yesterday evening, I'm seeing Trump coin going
to the moon, and I'm like, I don't want to
miss nothing because I'm an American. I got fomo. I
like easy money, like the next guy. I put five
hundred grand into trump coin, trump Coin. I go to sleep,

(20:45):
wake up five am. Trump coin is through the moon.
I'm like, hey, sell my trump coin. I made a
quick million bucks from five pm to like five am,
I'm up a million cash out. So now I'm plus
a million. What do you do when you plus millie,
I'll tell you what you do. Let's go Buffalo. Tell
me something more American. Then turning five hundred grand into

(21:08):
one point five million, one million profit, taking that one
million profit and putting on the Buffalo Bills to win
their first Super Bowl ever.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Well that's what I did.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Well, Well, that's a kid from Swampscot, Massachusetts, by the way,
Dave Portnoy. And we'll find out if the Bills are
gonna do it. Because we're into the NFL's Final four.
It's all set Eagles Commanders Sunday three o'clock and then
the Chiefs and the Bills Sunday night, six thirty.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (21:37):
I'm feeling like it's the refs versus the Bills. Yeah,
so I don't I don't know. It's gonna be a
tough one for them.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
The Bills taking on the refs, who are totally in
the Chiefs pocket. Yeah, Ohio State buck Eyes are the
national college football champions. They beat Notre Dame last night,
thirty four to twenty three. We've got the final.

Speaker 13 (21:55):
Call August toughest postseason climb in the history of the sport.
And after all that, it's Ohio State together at the mountaintop.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Yeah, didn't really show up.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
I know I was rooting for Marcus Freeman, just didn't
have Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Grad to Ohio State though, Yeah, Yeah, Rober applause to them.
Y'all can put your hands together now.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
Like that, I almost feel like it's harder to win
a national championship and then it's a Super Bowl because
there's so many more teams.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Yeah, something I want to hang out with Billy, right, Cyrus?

Speaker 3 (22:28):
What's going on with hey? Is my guitar still? I
think they cut me off.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Yeah, they just puff a plug, They just pull a plug.
Seuts crushed the Warriors on the road last night. One
twenty five. Eighty five Black Eyed Peas have canceled their
Vegas residency and nobody's saying why, and more artists are
being added to the Fire Aid benefit concerts set for
January thirtieth. No Doubt Olivia Rodrigo, Alanis Morris at Black Crow,

(22:56):
Stevie Wonder Anderson back the show set for January thirtieth,
and we'll be streaming the entire show on the thirtieth
right here on Kiss one Away and were brought to

com and get a quote today and there you go.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
You can put your hands together now.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Like that from the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios,
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning on.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Hey guys, Welcome back, Happy Tuesday. During the course of
the year twenty twenty four, which would be last year,
we opened up a couple of new things on the show.
I think it was last year. You launched the book
club right least two years ago, Like I said, in
twenty twenty three, we launched the book club and then
it was actually low key.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
December twenty twenty two, y.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Right in there, oh boy. And then well last year
for sure, we launched Local Legends, which we're really proud of.
This is a very cool thing. We basically look for
people out there in the community, listeners, whatever, who are
doing something above and beyond. They're basically making a difference
just because that's the kind of people they are. And

(24:23):
we let people vote people to be one of our
local Legends. And by the way, we do want to
thank Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare because we wouldn't have done this
project without them. And the good news is because of
Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, we're continuing in the year twenty twenty five.
So when does it start.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
It starts now.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
You can nominate, you can fill out the forum, go
to kiss oneway dot com, slash legend, or leave us
a talk back on the brand new iHeartRadio app and
tell us why you think this person should be celebrated.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
And it's true, I can unsign hero exactly all of
us go to the place to honor the recipient of
our local legend. Right, so we travel around, we go
wherever they might be. We look for them. Remember one
time we actually looked all over Revere.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Well, he was our first time, he was a mailman.
We loved him. Yeah, and he was on his route.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Yeah. His name was Paul. Yeah, and his daughter nominated him.
He was the very first local legend. And we went
on a hunt in Revere in the middle of the
day and we tracked him down on his route to
award him our local legend and give him a nice
little prize.

Speaker 14 (25:31):
Well, if I have it, I give it. And I've
been fortunate enough to be able to do that. I
mean when Easta, my daughters gave up there east the
stuff to give give to families.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Yeah. So I should add part of the reason why
he was nominated by his daughter is that he buys
gifts for people and get kids on his route that
maybe couldn't afford Christmas gifts.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
He knows, he can see what's going on, and then
he takes it out of his own pocket.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
And it's funny because while we were searching, we're in
touch with his daughter. She's telling us where no, no, no,
I think he's going to be in such a such
a place in five minutes. Yeah, So we kept going
where we think he was going to be and then
we finally tracked him there.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
Well, then we tracked his mail truck. Yeah, so we
torod to his mail truck and he wasn't in it.
So then we stood at his mail truck for like
twenty minutes and waited for him to come out. It
was really good. Another another great moment we went to
Boston to school and the lunch lady yep, was nominated.
She was amazing.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
What was her name when he miss Janique?

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Miss Janique. So we waited till the kids were in
lunch and we snuck in and surprised her, and she
gave us a little taste of how she kind of
runs the lunch room there.

Speaker 15 (26:36):
Good morning Remy, Good morning Remy.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
She might have been my favorite. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yeah, she had command of that lunch room.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Ye.

Speaker 5 (26:50):
A bunch of five year olds and six year olds
were like lazered in on her.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
It was like a military school when she opened her.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
I want my son to go to that school.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Yeah. And it's cool because you know, las year we
gave about jingle sold out jingle Ball tickets to the
to the legend, so there will be a prize involved
for the person you know that we award the Local
Legend Prize too, So you want to nominate you starting today,
Kiss wantawait dot com slash legend. Remember we brought someone
in the name was Kate. We brought her in under
a false story. Yeah, and then while she was live

(27:20):
on the air. She has an organization called Dignity Matters,
and we surprised her live on the air.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
You are a local legend.

Speaker 14 (27:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
This is amazing. Thank you, Meryl. Thank you for the
legend in.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Our eyes for years, but now everybody else knows it too.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Yeah. And she they provide period products for women in need,
for women in need.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
And it's funny. Lisa immediately started crying.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Well, you can hear it in the clip.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
You are a local legend because she saw a need
and she did something about it. Yeah, Like she didn't
wait around, she didn't know what she was doing. She
created this group and now she services a lot of
other organizations like the Wonderfund to be you know, as
an example, she.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Had a Local Legends.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Aren't you doing something with I am? Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
So Legacy Place has something to celebrate International Women's Day,
which is in March, and we're doing this panel. I'm
hosting the panel of women's storytellers, women business owners as
part of it. And I've picked two charities to benefit.
One of them is Dignity Matters and the other is
Raising a Reader, so they will be involved with this

(28:24):
event in March.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Awesome, that's awesome. Yeah, that's awesome. And then we can't
forget Carrie who works at the Senior Center in norwiy Yes,
we showed up, the police were there so nominated her
and she was shocked.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
You guys doing here well, Carrie, all of us from
the Billy and Lista Morning show are here in honor
of you, and thanks to your family and especially your
son Mikey, who said you deserve to be one of
our local legends.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Its us.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
It's really cool, Like we go out and it's a
whole plan that we have to surprise these legends because
it's really important. These are people that you know, there
are they're doing things every day in our community, you know,
and they don't do it for recognition, but we want
to take the time to recognize them.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
So the search twenty twenty five is on for local legends.
Where do they go?

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Once again, Lisa, it't just go to kiss oneway dot com,
slash legend or just leave us a talkback on the
iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
And speaking of talkbacks, coming up next, we'll have some
talkback leftovers for people that checked in during the show.
You can hear your voice on this show.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
Next, Lisa kiss to wait, Justin, let's get some talkback
leftovers in let's go.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
This morning, we learned that Lisa Donovan and I have
something in common. Our hearts skip a beat, and we
did not know what that was called. But I think
we have an.

Speaker 16 (29:54):
Answer Justin and Lisa, I think what you have is
a mitro valve prollapse where your heart skips a beat,
and they used to premedicate when you would go to
the dentist. I don't believe they do that anymore.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
Yeah, so our hearts basically they're out of rhythm, which
apparently is harmless. They tell me. They tell you the.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Same thing, harmless.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah, but I had to get an ey KG done
because it's kind of sounded weird. But apparently it's not
a big deal.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
That's good.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
I hope not. Well.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
I haven't been thinking about it since they told me.
I just keep moving, just keep doing my thing.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Both of you.

Speaker 5 (30:27):
Yeah, I know, he stalk with Billy.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
We were talking about it because I'm going today to
get this whole heart exam at this place called Boston
Men's Health Clinic, and They're going to do all these
tests on my heart just to see where I'm at,
see how I'm doing. So that's where the conversation came from.

Speaker 12 (30:45):
Good morning.

Speaker 15 (30:46):
There must be something in the water, because my son
is going today for an echo for his heart, and
I'm going Friday.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
I have mitro valve prolapse and he has a heart murmur.

Speaker 5 (30:57):
And yeah, our hearts skips to be It's all good.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Love you guys, have a good day.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Wait, so that woman has the same thing that we do.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
Yep, oh okay, it seems like it's two and four
one in one and two.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
I mean, are they going to give you a stress test?
Is that what they do today?

Speaker 3 (31:15):
Stress test? E KG? They're going to give me an echo,
They're going to do a full well he's a cardiologist,
he's a heart specialist, so they're going to kind of
test my fitness, see where I'm at. Wow, there's any
issues there?

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Yeah, well you got to tell him listen, I can
live five hundred pounds doc, how about you?

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Well, the doctor is more ripped than me.

Speaker 5 (31:35):
I've seen this doctor. Okay, no, no, no, Justin showed
me a picture. What's his name?

Speaker 3 (31:39):
I forget doctor Evan Applebom.

Speaker 5 (31:41):
Okay, you want to google doctor Evan Applebaum, ladies, because
he is one handsome man.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Wait a minute, you searched out a doctor that happened
to be ripped.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Oh it's actually what I was looking for is a
doctor that understands me, that lives kind of the same lifestyle.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
It's that thing you do now where you just admire
men's no, no, no.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
But he walked into the room. I was like, here
we go.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
It's a men's clinic. But I want to make an appointment.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
I have an issue. No, no, I have.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
An issue, Lisa, Lisa.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
I have an issue right with going to a doctor.
I would never name a specific doctor, but I go
and they say to me, you know what, you're overweight.
You need to lose weight. Meanwhile, there are one hundred
pounds overweight all the doctor. You know what I mean? Like,
I want someone that's actually, you know, in the gain.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
You can't discriminate against a doctor because he's a little heavy.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
I mean, it's okay, but why are you telling me
to lose weight when clearly you know I'm.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
Just saying, doctor Applebaum, it does not need help.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
I'll let you guys know tomorrow how my heart is.
Tell him, I say hi and skips a beat. Right, Yeah,
Tomorrow night's a big night for the book club, Mel Robbins, Lisa.
People are pumped for this. I'm excited. It's going to
be a great time.

Speaker 12 (32:51):
I am feeling so lucky that I have a ticket
to Mel Robbins book Club tomorrow. I am excited and
nervous and odd, and I'm just going to have so
many emotions. I'm sure, as so many of us are.
We're going to be in the great presence of Mel Robbins,
who's changed so many lives. Her book feels like one

(33:14):
huge hug wrapped around you, saying it's going to be okay, And.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
That's really all we want, right, That's all we want
in life.

Speaker 7 (33:21):
All I really want is someone to hold me and
tell me that everything is going to be all right.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Or keep in mind, the talkback will also be in
the presence of Lisa Donovan. Okay, if that's not a hug,
that's a good time.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
Okay, Yeah, this is I actually tell you. I keep
saying I'm so excited for this. It's going to be
so much fun being on stage with her.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
But also we've got like fourteen hundred people.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
What a community of people that are coming out for this,
and it's all because of Mel Robbins and her message
to people.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
You could have had ten thousand people. Absolutely, yeah, easily.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Yeah, it's a really it's going to be a really
a feel good room.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
I think you have to book your Lette Stadium for
the spring.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
I mean, the thing's growing at a rapid pace.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
This is the hottest ticket in New England right now.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
And Mail's coming in in a motorcade. Now she's got
police escorts. You know, she has one of those cars
the Beast.

Speaker 17 (34:21):
You know.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
Our license plate probably says let them cool, let them
before we go. I do have to give a shout
out to one of our listeners, and actually her husband
or boyfriend who's home with a new baby, shout out
to you, Kyle.

Speaker 12 (34:34):
Hey, guys, I was just wondering if we could give
a shout out to my husband, Kyle.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
He's been home from work with her.

Speaker 5 (34:40):
Newborn and I just want to let him know he's
doing a great job.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
Lets get Kyle on the phone, see how it's going
over there. I'm sure it's not going well the stress level,
because there's no comforting a baby. Like if you're a guy,
you try your best, but you're not like mom.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
No, it's very true.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
You don't have the right hug.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
It's a big thing in my house that the kids
always want mom. You don't want dad. No, you don't
want that at all.

Speaker 10 (35:04):
Oh, yeah, I'm sure Kyle's Yeah, I'm sure he is.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
You do your best. I remember when my son was born.
He was about two weeks old and I had I
had him all alone, and he started crying and he
would not stop crying. And I was so stressed out.
I was calling my mom, my mother in law. Nobody
was answering. It was like the worst night of my life.
He would not stop crying, So I know that failing.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
And eight years later he still won't stop.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
Yeah. Crazy, All right, coming up, we'll have the wrap up.
We'll take a look back at the show. We had
a great topic this morning, the most embarrassing thing you've
ever been caught doing. So many good talk backs, so
many good stories. We'll share them with you in the
wrap up.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Next Kids Away, It's the morning wrap up on Billy
and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
Good morning, everybody. Let's take a look back at the show.
What you missed? What you can catch up on the
podcast page on the new and approved iHeartRadio app is
what you missed? A great topic this came from the
inauguration yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg getting caught sneaking a peek of
Laurence Sanchez and her revealing shirt. There. That meme is everywhere,

(36:11):
But that was a topic, right, what's the most embarrassing
thing you've ever been caught doing?

Speaker 14 (36:16):
So?

Speaker 17 (36:16):
One time in college, I was in the communal bathrooms
and I was the only one in there at the moment,
so I decided to just take a quick peek at myself.
I opened up my towel, and just as I was
doing that, some other girl walked in the bathroom. I
tried really hard and you know, try to close my
towel as quickly as I can, but she definitely saw.

(36:38):
I just looked at her and said, eat, yep, yeah, yep.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
You just got to accept it and it is what
it is, you know.

Speaker 6 (36:45):
So I was using the restroom at my local Walmart
and had to go quite urgently and went right into
a stall and apparently failed to notice that there were
urinals in there.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
I was in the men's room.

Speaker 6 (36:59):
I didn't realize it until a guy came in and
I could see if you're the crack in the wall,
and I said, I think you're in the wrong restroom,
and he goes, no, this is the men's room.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
I died of embarrassment.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
That's a one.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 18 (37:18):
The most embarrassing thing recently has to do with me,
kind of, but it was my husband's fault. We're in
a group chat with a group. My husband meant to
text me to talk crap about somebody on that group,
but he sent it to the group and then he
blamed it on me somehow.

Speaker 5 (37:36):
So I was embarrassed.

Speaker 18 (37:37):
He was embarrassed. It was a mess, but it was
really funny.

Speaker 5 (37:40):
I'm laughing at it now.

Speaker 18 (37:42):
Still embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (37:43):
Yeah, our boss here at the radio station, his name
is Dylan, and I have a thing where I delete
our text thread every single time because I'm scared of
texting him something that is right in appropriate. Maybe that's
meant for my group chat, not about him, but he's
my boss and I don't want to send anything embarrassing,
so I just deleted.

Speaker 5 (38:02):
It every time I did the same thing.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah, it's a good idea. That's a big one to
texting the wrong person. Oh yeah, it sucks. And you
know what iPhone they updated where you can unsend the
text if it hadn't been read, but it tells them
that you uncent it.

Speaker 5 (38:15):
Right, and only at two minutes. Yeah, two minutes not
long enough for me to know if I really made
a mistake.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Stupid.

Speaker 15 (38:20):
Hi guys, this is about my boyfriend. We were laying
in bed scrolling on our phones and I just stopped
and was admiring how handsome he was when he picked
a scab off his face and ate it. Yeah, And
naturally I told my little girl about it. And then
a few weeks after that, we were cooking dinner, everything
was fine, and she decides to ask him why you

(38:43):
pick scabs and eat them? And it was probably the
most embarrassing thing that ever happened to him.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
She was admiring how handsome he is and he had
a scab on his face, Like, the scab's not the issue.

Speaker 5 (38:53):
He picked it, eat it.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
Yeah, It's like, yeah, that's not the only thing he's
picking right.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
Yeah, I actually respect the booger thing more than the scap,
but I think.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
They're both the same. Yeah, disgusting.

Speaker 3 (39:06):
My stomach is now. And one last thing on that
that topic there, Whinnie's embarrassing story. Yeah, she got hot
sticking her finger in her belly button and then smelling
it to make sure that her belly button didn't smell,
which is pretty embarrassing. But now she's being kind of
looked at as like an American hero. It's kind of weird.

Speaker 14 (39:28):
Whinny.

Speaker 15 (39:29):
You get the purple heart being so brave talking about
your belly button.

Speaker 11 (39:35):
Kudos to you. Of course, belly buttons smell.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
Everyone knows that.

Speaker 5 (39:41):
Yeah, do you have an I haven't in out any
in any so I have like, yes, it's not out, gather,
I have.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
More of an. I haven't any audi that's not out,
but just sort of not in.

Speaker 5 (39:55):
It's just sort of mind complete.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
I've got anny. Yeah, and I don't pick at it.
I just wash it when I'm showering.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
I have a friend of mine who is on the
larger side, and when we were growing up, you know,
living the troubled life, he would hide things in a second.
Was that it's big, Yeah, he used to hide, you know,
like bags of substances in his belly bumb I just
wanted my.

Speaker 5 (40:24):
Belly button's like a normal circle dime.

Speaker 3 (40:26):

nominate them at kiss wanawait dot com slash legend, and

we say thank you.
