They didn't get a chance to see Billy because you know,
you can't take kids to the event. The villa was
doing it and the Patriots won yesterday. Let's go. Let's

in that show. I was trying to watch Weapons this
weekend on Maxah premiered this weekend. I didn't get around
to it. Hopefully this weekend i'll watch it.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Michelle and I are so deep into nineteen twenty three.
We're halfway through the second season. I didn't even know
there was the second season. I'm telling you, it's mind blowing.
I know.
Speaker 7 (01:26):
The thing about that is you have to watch Yellowstone
and then what was after yellow No, you don't really know.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
A standalone it could be Yeah, okay.
Speaker 7 (01:32):
I feel like I have to though, I have to
watch Yellowstone and then nineteen twenty three. Then there's another one, right.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Eighteen eighty three? Eighteen came after Yellowstone? Yeah, yeah, that
was good with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill I.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
Beinge Nobody wants this.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Oh oh, it's so good. You guys have to as
good as the first season.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Yeah, that's good. It's about the Sisters. This is like
really like hardcore about the Sisters. This season.
Speaker 7 (01:54):
Now Lise knowing or like, after doing the Kristen Bell
story from last week and all the controversy, watching kind
of think any differently, Yeah, a little bit.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
I have to say, I'm like, should I really be
watching this?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
And she's refusing to apologize.
Speaker 6 (02:07):
Refusing to pull it down, refusing to apologize.
Speaker 7 (02:10):
She put out a birthday post for Dax or husband yeah,
and said thank you for not killing me, which you know,
it's domestic violence.
Speaker 6 (02:17):
Yeah, it was, it was, it was, it was, you know,
I just thought it was a little.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
It was in bad days.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
Yeah, I toned up a little bit.
Speaker 6 (02:25):
So yeah, and the fact that she's like doubling down
and not taking it down is weird.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Yeah, a little bit. Hey, let's go to Kelly. She's
in Weymouth. Hey, Kelly, you're college twenty five? Hi? Hi?
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Do you have a keyword for us?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
I do?
Speaker 5 (02:40):
Buccaneers?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Buccaneers? Yeah, that's very good. So now you've got tickets
for the jingle ball. But Kelly, you qualify for one
hundred eight thousand dollars jingle ball jackpot?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Oh my god, yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
You bet my magic if you want a hundred that's crazy.
But Kelly, you got a hold on. Okay, did she
drop off? Oh my god, she's amazing and hung up. Yeah,
callback she You got to call back and talk to
produce a ride.
Speaker 7 (03:11):
It happens sometimes. It happens with the phones. Kelly, if
you're listening, just call back. We'll get you. Don't worry,
don't panic. You're the winner. You had the keyword.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Let's go bucks. Yeah there. So coming up next, we're
going to be talking to eropelm Matt Light. Hey, guys,
and welcome back. We have Matt Light on the phone.
Let's get him up here. Hey, Matt, good morning, Billy.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
You know what it is, man, This is why I'm
so excited to talk to you. A. It's you, my friend.
God love you. I have to be on with you.
And b it's a frosty Monday morning. You know you
got that chill in the air. The pond has some
fog rising off and I'm looking at it still even now.
I mean, don't you love that winner's coming?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Listen to you, A big NFL guy, three times super
Bowl champion, getting all sensitive on us.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
I'm watching poetic about this beautiful fall weather. I love it.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Man.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Ah, By the way, just because you're such a food guy,
I have to say that if anybody listening has ever
been up north, and I'm sure you've been there too,
there's a place called Polly's Pancakes. Okay, okay, it's legendary.
It's up near Littleton, like Franconia area.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Oh that's pretty far up Jack.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Oh yeah, yeah, beautiful and especially this time of year.
And I got their gingerbread pancakes and I made it
for my daughter and I this morning. I mean, if
that isn't a good morning buddy, happy Monday to you all.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Hey Matt, if I'm not mistaken, didn't Jenny and I
cook in your kitchen once?
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Uh? Yeah, I think it was many moons ago. Oh yeah, yes,
we did do a little segment.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Oh are you trying to say that was a previous home.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
It was? Yeah, I think it was. I think it
was one.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
We're in Foxboro, Okay, we got to talk to you about
We got to talk about the foundation. We're going to
talk about this massive raffle. But I got to ask
you about this bed scandal thing.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yeah. Yeah, there's a lot going on right now, isn't.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
There whoa man? Well it's NBA right now. But I
thought I saw something over the weekend that it's starting
to filter into the NFL.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah. I think whenever there's like, you know, big organizations, right,
like three letter organizations, government organization. I think when there's
any kind of law enforcement looking at you know, that
kind of thing, it's it's going to probably get worse
before it gets better. Yeah, And you know there's a
part of me I go all the way back when
(05:35):
I first entered the league. I don't even think that
the teams, or maybe it was a team decision, like
they wouldn't even put you know, alcohol sponsorship out there
in the stadium, right, Yeah. I mean they would do
deals for broadcasting and all that stuff, no big deal.
But we've we've really changed in terms of what we allow,
and I think that there was a reason why we
(05:58):
didn't want certain things part of the game, and I
think you're seeing a lot more of that now. And
maybe that means they're going to have to change the
rules and how they do things. But it kind of
seems like the cats out of the bag, right, Oh.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Man, are they going to have to change some rules?
You don't strike me as a gambler, Matt.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
You know, I've never been a gambler. I'm the kind
of guy that if I'm going to go to a casino,
I say, okay, I got five hundred bucks. Once I
lose it, which I know i'm going to, I'm done.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Yeah. I'm the same way. Yeah, it's a scary business.
It's a scary business. Okay, we got to talk about
the Patriots. How about those Patriots first placed AFC East.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Gosh, isn't it nice? The boys are back. The boys
are back, They're in town, they're loving it. And you
know what I love the most. These guys like playing
the game of football and they like being around each other.
I mean the camaraderie and and that's a hard thing
to establish if you're if you're a coach that's been
there for a while, right, But look at the job
that coach Brable and the rest of his staff have
(06:57):
done and help and these guys just be a good teammates,
i e. Good humans and then also doing a pretty
darn good job of putting it out there on the
field and winning these games. I mean bodes well. And
they got a lot of young guys that are playing
well too.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Stefan Diggs looks like he's having the time of his
life on the sidelines, I know.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
And by the way, like in the past, you know,
there were times where you wondered, is this guy happy?
Does he like where he's at? But I think he does.
I think he enjoys playing with a team where it matters.
I mean, guys like Stefan Diggs, they don't. They don't
just go out there and play the game. They put
everything into it, their heart, their soul, their passion. And
when when you have a whole bunch of other guys
(07:39):
doing the same thing, it's easy. Even when things get difficult, right,
it's easy to bounce back and go out there and
get those wins.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
And Drake May is precision.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
I mean, did he not drop one in the basket?
That was just so beautiful? That touchdown throw that I
think it was like maybe a second or third of
the game. It was beautiful, man.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
And the catch was amazing. It was over the shoulder,
a one hander.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
It was man. I mean, it was just I mean,
these guys are just again and I can't stress enough.
I remember back when we were winning consistently, right, and
we worked really hard during the week, We got after
it in practice, Like there were times where May we
may have even fought each other in practice, but when
we were in that locker room, we enjoyed each other's company. Man.
(08:28):
We we were a tight knit, close organization, and I
think that that is a lot of why teams win.
And I like what these guys are doing, man, I mean,
they're they're getting creative in some ways. Josh is such
a great play caller. You know, it's fun to watch
what he's doing offensively. Defensively, these guys, I mean the turnovers,
you know, the big stops. I mean, they're playing really
(08:50):
well complimentary football.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Hey did you play with Vrabel?
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Oh? Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, we were. We came
in in two thousand and one together, right. I was
a I think he was a That was his fourth year,
and I played against Rabel in college. You know, I
was a true freshman playing tight end and I was
getting manhandled by Vrabel, who was a senior I believe
at the time, and of course a much better Ohio
(09:15):
State team than we were a Purdue. But yeah, I've
got a long history with him, and you know, I
think the way he approaches the game is so important. Today.
It's all about toughness, it's all about mentally and physically tough,
and that's that's gonna bode well, especially late in the season.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yeah. I always forget you're a boilermaker.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Yeah, buddy, line them up, let's go well, okay for everyone?
Speaker 1 (09:39):
All right, quick quest.
Speaker 7 (09:40):
He's a boilermaker and a pancake makercakes, baby, I gotta
ask you.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
You and Rabel in the street fight, who wins?
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Listen? It's it's gonna be ugly. I can tell you
one thing. It's gonna be dirty. There's gonna be eye
gouge on both sides. There's gonna be a lot of
clawing going for some areas that are sensitive. Oh yeah,
it's gonna be pretty. Don't let the kids watch it
be like.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
A two man huddle. Rabel looks like an eye poker.
Oh yeah, you have any idea?
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (10:11):
I got to ask you before we get to the
foundation in the raffle, okay, okay, when there's a fumble
and there's a pile up, what's going on under the pile?
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Now? Listen? It all depends on how much chirping there
has been throughout the game, or what the history is
like between the guys that are going against each other,
and at times man, it can get pretty ugly. But
you know, you just reminded me of something we're talking about,
you know, Vrabel and in the great job that he's
doing in that entire staff and that team. Right, the
thing that comes up right now, we got Halloween right
(10:45):
around the corner, right, yeah, I mean it's about here,
and we used to do a Halloween party every year,
and I remember when he walked into the Halloween party.
Now he's got jeans with a belt, right, no shirt, okay,
and he's probably wearing a hat of some kind. But
he may be one of the hairiest humans on the planet.
I mean there's not a square inch of his body
(11:07):
that isn't covered.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
He's got a hairy back all.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Oh, it's not just the back, it's the full shoulders
all the way down to the to the cuffs link right,
I mean, he he is one hairy human. And he
had shaved right about his elbows right down to his wrist,
and then he shaved a v around his neck and
then a couple of circles in his belly button. It
looked like he was wearing a cardigan and it was hilarious.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
I'll bet he lasers now though he probably looks like
a dolphin.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Now, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he can cut water for sure.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Okay, this you do this every year, Matt, and every
year it gets bigger. You're having a raffle for your foundation.
I quickly explained to the listeners what your foundation does.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Matt, Well, Listen, we work with kids all over the
country and it's all about leadership, you know, instilling those
kind of qualities that just make them good people and
great friends and parents. And we love what we do.
We've been doing it since two thousand and one. So yeah, man,
these raffles have been a huge part of us being
able to offer expanded programming. We've moved a lot of
(12:16):
programming here to the Northeast and it's just been an
amazing run. Buddy. But this sweet Stakes special, we're gonna
send some people down to Tampa for a heck of
a matchup with Baker Mayfield and Drake may Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
So it's a November ninth a Sunday game in Tampa,
and you get two really good seats, I mean really good, right,
and then overnight at a hotel right there in Tampa,
pregame tailgate passes. Oh look at that, you have dinner
with Matt and Susie light the lights. You're gonna have.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Pancakes, Yeah, we're I don't know that Roka does pancakes,
but Rocca is one of the hottest places in Tampa.
Also of mister Gronkowski is a part owner of that.
And it's gonna be It's just gonna be a great trip.
We got the airfare included, so we're pulling two grand
prize winners. So for ten bucks, Hey, look for ten bucks.
(13:05):
You have a chance, and I'm gonna call whoever wins.
It's one of my favorite things in the World'll probably
try to sell them some kind of vinyl stash replacement
windows service, and right before they hang up on me,
I'll tell them, hey, you're going to Tampa, and then
it usually gets better.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
I should mention it also includes as signed Patriots jersey
by Drake May. There's a thousand bucks. This is an
incredible I'm gonna buy like ten tickets today. Uh where
do they go?
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Is it?
Speaker 8 (13:26):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Lighthouse Sweepsteaks dot Org slash sweep Steaks slash takeover.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
No, No, listen, make it way easier, because I was
going to.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Say, you confusing. We gotta make it easier. Yeah, where do.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
They go get easier? Takeover in Tampa dot Com?
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Take Over makes much more. We're going to be going
after No, I'm really but Lisa and I wondering if
we buy tickets and win, do we win?
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Of course you win.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
You're gonna because you're gonna call us and tell us, well,
do you do the right thing? You give them back? Yeah,
you're gonna say, Bill, come on, really you're going to
take the prize? Uh, Matt Light always a pleasure, buddy. Everybody.
Where are they going again? Tampa?
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Takeover in Tampa dot Com? And I hope I'm calling
two of your listeners and we love you guys and
appreciate all what you do.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
All right, Matt, go pats o, pats I'm going to
make my word. That's cool, Mary, He's always great.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Take Over in Tampa dot Com.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Yeah, I might buy some tickets. I'm definitely buying PI Lisa.
Now the entertainment updates with a Billy Concept.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Saw.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
The Patriots have won five games in a row. They
are six and two on the season. Beat the Browns
yesterday thirty two thirteen, still in first place in the
a f C. Each Coach Bravel rape rapel right here.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
Proud of the totality of this of the team, and
I know there's so much more to improve, but we
we got stops in the second half and we and
we scored touchdowns and that's what the difference in the
game was. But it was also the way we finished
the first half.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Drake May by the way, eighteen for twenty four on
the day, three touchdowns at one pick. But he's hearing
the noise. Fans are chanting MVP. The fans have been
awesome all season.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
It's been really cool to really see the different from
from last year to this year. Man, it's been a
it's been a journey and you know, they've been through
it and they've been you know, the fans have been
through it the last couple of years, so it's just
new credit.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
To them the way they're playing good football. Oh so
exciting to watch great plays by Drake.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
I love seeing all the Patriots gear all around town again.
Speaker 7 (15:38):
Oh yeah, he keeps moving up every single week into
the top, you know, candidates for MVP.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, and it's weird. You get very excited now about
game day, like you're planning at the night before. Okay,
what are we getting for football food. We got a
gear up. Hats are on one o'clock. Anyway, they'll play
the falcons out at you. Let this coming sound lot.
How about the whole betting thing that hit the NBA
last week? That was the big star. My dad comes
up yesterday to watch the game.
Speaker 7 (16:02):
He bet on the game. I'm like, you're betting the
standal It didn't scare you. He's like no, and he
hit a parlay too. Oh wow, you bet ten bucks
and one one hundred and fifty bucks.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Good Friday. Hard to hit, you know, one fifty and
the kick Chiefs and the Commanders are the Monday night
football game tonight. Then there's the World Series Game three
tonight Dodgers Blue Jays tied at one game apiece. We
have to talk about this Jonas Brothers thing. We knew.
I think we announced it Friday week the Jonas Brothers
would be performing, but they said it would be on
(16:33):
field before the game Game two, which was Saturday. Well,
they performed, but it was after the fifth inning, between
the fifth and sixth innings. It was part of the
stand up for Cancer moment, which was a beautiful moment,
and then all of a sudden they introduced the Jonas Brothers.
Speaker 9 (16:52):
Now, our friends at MasterCard are proud to bring you
a special performance from the Jonas Brothers of I Can't
Lose Medicated to everyone standing up to cancer.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
It was pretty cool, right, But it was a weird game. Well,
it's so funny. I was watching the game.
Speaker 7 (17:22):
I saw them come out and I thought to myself, Wow,
that's a great moment, and I thought it's kind of weird.
And then I went on Twitter and they were just
getting roasted. You were upset because the game was tied
fifth inning.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
Yeah, you know that's the thing. If you were you know,
a Toronto fan, you were upset.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Yeah. I mean, the stand up for cancer makes sense,
but all ceremonial stuff is before a game. When it
comes to baseball. You've got some of the posts they.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
Said, sorry, this isn't the super Bowl. There's no halftime show,
so ridiculous. We don't do musical theater in the middle
of the World Series. Was one fan.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Wow, it was an interesting choice, man, I'll tell you.
And they were in a weird part of the ballpark too.
They were like, you know, they were like a sweet
right center field in a suite performing and there was Kevin. Yeah,
just never, you know what I mean, he never seems
to fit. Yeah. Now you got Nick and Joe and
(18:18):
incredible entertainers.
Speaker 7 (18:20):
Well, his new single drops November twentieth, Kevin Jonas the
one that he sing solo single November twentieth.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
So we love the Joe brose. Hey ready, I'm Kevin,
I'm Nick, and I'm Joe. We're the Jonas Brothers and
we're hanging with Billy Costa. Yeah. I've hung with him
a few times. They're really nice, that nice, like really nice.
I think the first time they came to Boston, I
met him at the aviation terminal at Hanscomb Air Force Base, yep,
and we had like a little pizza party in the
terminal or something with the Jonas brothers. Anyway, how about
(18:51):
this one new edition Boys to Men Tony Braxton. All
three are heading out on tour his division, all.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
Three of us on the same stage every night, not
taking turns, actually performing together.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Fans on around us, on to trace, no barriers, no separations,
an original music experience. With all this artistry, it feels
like cruelty. This is too big for one city. Let's
take this to the fans. Tony Braxton where she Unbreak
My Heart. Yeah, that's right, and then they did a
twelve inch disco version of it for the night clubs. Yeah,
(19:28):
that's gonna be a good show. And it's the day
after Valentine's Day.
Speaker 5 (19:31):
Yeah, mid February. It's perfect.
Speaker 7 (19:33):
I saw Boys to Men a couple of years ago
at Foxwoods on Valentine's Day and it was cool. The
theater at Foxwoods, the elevator goes right, that went right
up to our room was right outside of the theater.
So we walked out of the Valentine's DHL on the
elevator upstairs.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
And the tour comes here February fifteenth, the day after
Valentine's Right, Wow, we go Andica on our you look
so sweet.
Speaker 5 (19:58):
There we go.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
TD Guard in February fifteenth, and our buddy Lewis Capaldi
heading out on tour two nights. MGM Music Call April
eighteenth and nineteenth of next year. And you interviewed him
justin when he came to Boston, I think for the
first time at MGM.
Speaker 7 (20:13):
Yeah, it was great. We had to sit down with him.
He's just the nicest, most down to earth guy. We
talked about everything, you know, even as Turette's. But at
one point I asked him, you know you make such
emotional music. What songs will make you cry?
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Ooh, I like about Bob Dylan radio Head, that's of
late a song called true Love Weights by them that
makes me cry a little bit. Depends what mediement depends
on pet Boofe, Yeah, Dally, sometimes I'm just like that.
Stuff is as worces are so beautiful. I know you
want me, you know I want it. I know you
(20:46):
want me. You know I want you? Okay, I love
Lewis such a nice guy. So Kim Kardashian apparently is
close to being able to practice law. She says she
could be a full time lawyer in two weeks, and
she saying maybe in ten years she'll give up being
Kim Kay and just be a lawyer. That's what she
really wants to do. She's worked it kind of hard,
(21:09):
right well, she yeah, it's been several years, so this
is a big moment for her. I mean, good for her, yeah, easy.
Speaker 6 (21:17):
I mean, eventually the Kardashians aren't gonna have to fall
out of favor, I mean at least like not be
as popular.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
Well you would have thought it would have happened a wild.
Speaker 6 (21:25):
Yeah, but it kind of makes sense in ten years
that she'll have something to move on to.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Olivia Rodrigo ended her massive Guts World tour with a
secret invite only concert at New York's Park av Armory.
That happened Thursday night of last week. So the Guts
Tour is finally over. That was not as long as
Taylor Swift, but it was a long tour.
Speaker 7 (21:48):
Yeah, she's already working on a new album. She's been
writing a new album while she's been touring. So twenty
twenty six and we will see her come back.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
And Katie Perry and Justin Trudeau are official.
Speaker 5 (21:59):
Yeah, they're official.
Speaker 6 (22:00):
They were out at an event together holding hands that
I have to say. They looked great together, like, they
looked really good.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
She's going to crush him. She's going to crush him
in every possible way.
Speaker 7 (22:12):
She just seems a bit insufferable. Yes, right, he makes
great music, right, Lise, she does. Relationship wise, I don't
know if he knows what he's in for. That's just
a guess. It could be an unfair guest, but it's
a guess. Lisa, what was your communication with Dave Portnoy
over the weekend.
Speaker 6 (22:28):
So I just DMed him. I was like, you know what,
I've got no connection to him. I'm going to see
if I get a reply. I did within like an hour,
and I asked him how to get in touch with
his people for his book it comes out in June
for my book club, and he was nice enough to reply.
So I am moving forward with that communication.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
And when is your next book club?
Speaker 6 (22:49):
But No Number six at the Newberry. It's called It
Girl with MRSA Meltzer. She's coming in from New York.
It's sold out, but I will be having a guest list.
I'll open it up next week.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Can we get onto your guest list? Then? Where is it?
Speaker 5 (23:03):
Think you know somebody? It's at the Newberry Hotel.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Well that's fancy pants. Can we get on that's fancy
pants stuff? Portnoy guest list? Yeah, that's so cool, he responded, Oh,
it's so cool. Well, you never know what day you're
gonna get you know, it could go either way. You kim, Okay,
there's no here. It's like you Roger, Hey, we're quite now.
Speaker 5 (23:29):
It's nice.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
We'll just let his publicist handle it. Yeah, is it
Simon and Schuster. I was in.
Speaker 7 (23:35):
I was in the post office in Salem, New Hampshire,
Saturday morning with my kids getting passport photos and Lisa
called me.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
I texted her. I said, I'm in the post office
with my kids. I call you back. She goes call
me immediately all caps. I was like, whoa, I'm right back.
I go to I got the call. I got the call.
He's in. Well at least he reached out. He responded, Yeah, Hey,
We're brought to you by the ninety nine restaurant. Fourteen
dollars ninety nine cents a big deal meals start the
week off right, and here we are, brand new week,
(24:03):
start of Halloween Week, satisfied the big appetites every Monday
through Wednesday, and you should dry the new grilled tary
Archy chicken for flavor that's always kicking. For big meal
deals and a great time the whole family. By the way,
Lisa goes all the time with the boys. You get
a lot of the knights. And there you go.
Speaker 6 (24:22):
You Kim from the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
We're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
So atleas neurovirus is hitting another cruise ship, you know what,
it's on the loose.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
The Oceana Insignia cruise ship docked in Portland, Maine, yesterday.
Speaker 8 (24:39):
The Oceana Insignia Cruise ship docked in Portland Sunday bringing
tourists amid an onboard outbreak of neurovirus. On Monday, the
ship reported twelve percent of its passengers seventy four people
were ill.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
How do we minimize the risk? How do we protect ourselves?
Speaker 8 (24:55):
It is a requirement that ships from foreign ports docking
in the US alert the CDC if more three percent
of passengers become ill. Co founder of Portland Cruise Ship
Controlled Joe Anne Locktov, said she wants more notice in
these situations.
Speaker 10 (25:07):
I think it's incumbent upon the city to also alert
the residents.
Speaker 7 (25:13):
Excuse me for a moment, as I text my wife,
we are never going on a cruis.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Well, the neuural virus, I mean, I got two words
for your loose tool.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Yeah, it's so contagious.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
And this is twelve percent of their passenger list, has it?
Speaker 5 (25:28):
Seventy four people? That's a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
They're all in their rooms right now puking, yes, well
or all luris.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
Yeah, it's it's just unrelenting. No, I thought I when
I had it, I thought I was I was on the.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
Floor of my bathroom. I thought I was going to die.
Speaker 7 (25:44):
I remember when I got it, I thought to myself
coming out of COVID, and you know, because I had
COVID too, which was like it was like a bad cold,
right for me.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
I remember, I was like COVID the neural virus. I
was bedridden.
Speaker 5 (25:56):
Yes, the worst. I actually googled can you die from
the neuro virus?
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Yeah? It feels like death. Did you get an answer it? Did?
Speaker 5 (26:02):
It said you don't want it?
Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yes you can? Yeah, well right exactly.
Speaker 7 (26:09):
Yeah, you got to drink the fluids. So they're on
the boat, on the cro cruise ship right now in
Portland in their rooms.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yes, okay, Well, because is a certain percentage of the
passengers if they have it, they're not allowed to leave
the dark. Is it scheduled for Boston today? It was
scheduled for today. Oh boy, it's stuck.
Speaker 7 (26:27):
And now the people of Portland are outraged because they
didn't get enough warning.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
They don't they don't think, yeah, there's an outpouring that happens.
Speaker 7 (26:35):
It's yeah, I do not want the Nora virus. I
got it two years ago, and then last year my
whole house got it and I didn't get it.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Isn't that weird? Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Yeah, I went through my house once.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
It's explosive, very much so, very much so. But imagine
if you're on a cruise ship and it spreads like
wildfire on a cruise ship. That's the problem.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
Well, you're on vacation too, you know. We've talked a
lot about that on this show, like vacation nightmare stories.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
That's a nightmare, and it's just a little it's so
fixiated on the well because that's where you live. If
you have the neuro virus, you might as well just
park yourself on the toilet.
Speaker 5 (27:17):
Yeah you do.
Speaker 6 (27:18):
It's horrible. And then on a cruise ship, no, last
you're like stuck.
Speaker 7 (27:21):
But hold on, let's think about this timeline though. Right,
they reported it last Monday that that there was sickness
and it started spreading. So now they're just in their rooms.
Is it still then?
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Is it? People? Are they still sick? Well, it continually spreads,
but it's quick, right, Lisa, It's in there.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
It is, It's quick. That's the one good thing about
the neurovirus.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Oh, it's abovirus. Everything you have ever consumed is all.
It's so not fun. Well, they're going to becoming to Boston.
Maybe around here it's unrecognized.
Speaker 6 (27:53):
But the people in Portland don't want it spreading around
their city.
Speaker 7 (27:56):
I know, I don't, justin, don't hit the Portland button.
Don't hit the Portland button. I can't help it.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Up there for.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
Right now.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
No roads aren't leading there. Yeah, now, that's terrible to
happen on a cruise ship though.
Speaker 9 (28:18):
God.
Speaker 11 (28:19):
Oh so I left a talk back a while back
about how going on a cruise was not desirable to
me because of my irrational fear of contagions or the
apocalypse you know who knows, and you're out like in
the middle of the ocean. Okay, So if this doesn't
prove my point, come on, come on, say no to
(28:40):
the cruise.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Okay. Well, I gotta tell you, most circumstances, your cruise
is going to be fine, absolutely, you know what I mean.
A cruise is a lot of fun, especially for families.
If you've got young kids. Your kids, justin, are the
perfect age for a cruise right.
Speaker 5 (28:55):
Now, especially like the Disney cruise.
Speaker 7 (28:57):
Yeah, I know it's on the list. My wife wants
to do it. But listen, things canna happen on any vacation,
not just cruises exactly. It just sucks that you're like,
it's so contained, you know, it's once it hits.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Yeah, and you've got thousands of people in that.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Container and the odor is wafting from the hall. Just
everybody's sitting on the toilet.
Speaker 7 (29:19):
Oh my god. Well, I don't I don't know. We'll
follow this story and see if it's going to come
to Boston.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Maybe, just maybe she'd just go back out to.
Speaker 12 (29:30):
See Billy and Lisa every morning.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Just went to wait, justin talk back leftovers. You've got
to have some good ones from this morning show.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (29:40):
Let's give a shout out though to everybody listening around
the world on the iHeartRadio app. A reminder you can
listen to us on Kiss Want to Wait, the old
fashioned way, the old school ay in your car. You
can also listen on the app, which is clear as
day from anywhere in the world.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
He Kiss went away, Just letting you know that I'm
listening to you.
Speaker 13 (29:58):
Well, I'm in Venice, you guys, son clearest day.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
See that point proven Oh all the way in Venice.
Venice is cool. Yeah, and I just love that.
Speaker 7 (30:09):
I love that people go away on vacation or even
if they move away, and they still check in.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah, and they still listen to us. We appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Well, let people call and say, yeah, I'm jogging a
nice France right now on the beach. Yeah, I'm listening
to you guys. So cool.
Speaker 7 (30:23):
This weekend, I meant to watch the movie Weapons. It
just hit HBO Max on streaming. I did not get
around to it. It was a busy weekend baseball and all
that stuff. But I am looking forward to it. I've
heard good things.
Speaker 8 (30:34):
Hi, justin just calling about the Weapons, So you're looking
forward to watching.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
My wife and I watched that and it was it
was bizarre, weird. I don't know.
Speaker 13 (30:43):
I thought it'd be very different and kind of alecto
o man oh eleto.
Speaker 7 (30:49):
It did big numbers at the box office, said Julia Garner.
Speaker 5 (30:52):
Yeah, yeah, I want to see that.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Yeah, broke all kinds of records. I'm looking. It's Halloween week.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
It had a really good trailer.
Speaker 7 (30:58):
Very good. Yeah, but I I thought I saw the
reviews were good on it.
Speaker 6 (31:02):
So that's a horror movie.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
That's a horror movie.
Speaker 7 (31:05):
Yeah, it's supposed to have it. I think a shocking
twist and it's perfect. It is Halloween week.
Speaker 10 (31:10):
Hey everyone, I'm a Salem mask ghost tour guide. Check
us out this week Salem Night Tours. But I give
tours at the most haunted spots in Salem. And there
is this giant mansion at the corner of Essex Street
near the Hawthorn and it is where the brutal murder
took place of a man named Captain White. He was
stabbed thirteen times and the murder actually inspired the game Clue.
(31:32):
I've had tons of people take photos of that window
and get a face in their pictures.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
Well, now, yeah, you're familiar with the Captain White story. No,
why do you always ask me questions because I lived
in Salem for a while. Well, I don't know. You know,
it's actually a brutal story.
Speaker 14 (31:49):
The eighty two year old merchant was allegedly targeted in
a money motivated crime by two greedy brothers hoping to
secure his fortune. Brothers Joseph and Francis nat enlisted Richard
Crowninshield to carry out out the plan. Late in the evening,
when Captain White is asleep, Dick crowninshields.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Like the little sound effects a sin.
Speaker 14 (32:07):
Goes upstairs to the second floor and bludgeons the captain
with the club and crushing his skull. Alibiso tells today
dot Com the murder led to a scandalous trial and
is said to have inspired Edgar Allen Poe's The Telltale
Heart and even the board game Clue.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
Yeah. I love that word bludgeoning. Wow. Well yeah, check
out that tour. That's cool. Gift so ferocious.
Speaker 7 (32:32):
By the way, Billy hosted the Wicked Night at the
Salem Waterfront Hotel this weekend. It sounded like a great
event that was awesome, went off and out a hitch,
But there's a psychic reader that was there that that
does readings in Salem. She dm me and she was
doing readings there for the event. Ah yeah, So she
dm me to see if I was going. I said
it was not, And I said, but Billy is there
do a reading for him? She said, I'm going to
(32:53):
track him down and give Billy Costa a reading. So
then she dm me the next day and said that
she thinks you were scan of her and you were
avoiding her at all costs.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
Did you remember meeting her?
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Of course not, she read because I didn't meet her.
She didn't come up and say, hey, can I do
a reading on you? Okay?
Speaker 7 (33:09):
Well you know how Bill, it's skittish, you know what
I mean? He's Yeah, she was probably sitting there doing reading.
Bill saw it went the other way.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
I love doing that.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Kind of stuff.
Speaker 5 (33:19):
Yeah, what's wrong with that?
Speaker 1 (33:21):
Are you afraid of what she's going to find? The cards? No,
I'd rather sit and have a Cosmo.
Speaker 5 (33:28):
Kids run Away. It's the morning wrap up on Billy
and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
So earlier Lisa had a story.
Speaker 7 (33:35):
Sixty percent or more of people have said they've had
a paranormal experience, they've seen ghosts. It is Halloween weeks,
so we open the phone lines to talk back, to
take your ghost stories and make us feel scared.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Did it work? I don't know.
Speaker 13 (33:48):
When I was pregnant with my first child, I was
having a hard time sleeping. It was probably about one
o'clock in the morning and I felt something staring. I
could just feel this eerie feeling, and when I looked.
There was a man standing over the bed and I
was tapping my husband, petrified to wake up, wake up.
And then as we turned back over, the figure just
(34:11):
faded into the wall. The scariest pot was it was
just the top half of a body.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Okay, okay, oh boygless.
Speaker 7 (34:23):
I got kind of freaked out by that one a
lot bit. But again I said this earlier. I've never
seen a ghost. I'd like to see a ghost. I'll
probably be scared. But what does that say about me?
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Am? I not open minded enough? Again, it comes out
of nowhere. It's whether or not you believe. It just happens, right.
But I'm not a non believer. I just have not
seen them for myself.
Speaker 5 (34:45):
Well, they haven't chosen you yet.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
That's keyword. Yet. Your time will come.
Speaker 12 (34:49):
Yes, Hi, this is Professor Karra from New Jersey, longtime listener,
first time talkbacker.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
You were mentioning ghost stories.
Speaker 12 (34:55):
When my daughter was about one and a half, so
old enough to talk, but young enough to still be
in a crib. I came in to get her one
morning and she said to me, Mommy, the rocking chair
stopped rocking. And I said what, And she said, the
rocking chair. It was rocking and now it's not. So
that was a little frightening. I tried not to act scared.
But those little kids, they have some kind of connection.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Mm.
Speaker 7 (35:19):
The kids thing freaks me out because I do have
this belief that kids can maybe see the other side,
or they see things that we don't, mostly babies.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
No, no, yeah, I want to give me something. I
think I think dogs to see things we don't see.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
You know, I think we see that a lot in movies.
The kids.
Speaker 6 (35:37):
Maybe that's why, because it's always a kid standing next
to someone's bed staring at them.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
Yeah. Well, bills sock, did you see a kid in
the schoolhouse you live in? Yeah, but it was would
appear to be a teacher who was probably a teacher
in the school, and maybe they had some relationship, or
maybe the kid, you know, tragically passed at a young
age or something. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
I think it's something to be scared of.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Though. No, it was very peaceful for me. They're always smiling. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (36:06):
You don't want the ghost attacking you. No, No, you
don't want that.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
No, especially if they're just going to disappear into the wall,
right and only present half there. It's not like that
it's not like what you see in the movies. You
see like horror TV shows. I'm telling you, it comes
out of nowhere and you just lie there and enjoy
it while they're there. Yeah. Well, Hal Colgan visited you
last night, right, was it the Hulk? Okay, somebody in
(36:33):
the middle of the night just shouted at like, Hey,
I don't think it was Hulk. Well, he's just went
to heaven. Like I rolled over, I said, what Like
I thought Michelle was calling me. Yeah, and she was
sound asleep. Yeah, that's freaky. Also, everybody worried. I just
got another headline Boston gearing up for a wet Halloween.
(36:53):
So we keep hearing about rain for the Friday night
Halloween festivities we're gonna have. Hopefully we'll have our guy
Jason Michael, meteorologist over at WBZ. He'll break it all down.
Speaker 5 (37:04):
We need to know.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
He's gonna give us the timeline for Halloween and trick
or treating. Uh, but we'll see you tomorrow morning. All right, then,
