Hey, guys, they hated Billy.
Speaker 9 (05:16):
We're at the beach in Naples, Florida, at the Turtle Club.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Billy here a turtle club having a nice glass of
wine at a stroke.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
Of high noon, and Billy is always working. You'd be
so impressed by this guy.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
I'm not on vacation at all. He's talking about new
segments all the time.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Now, who were those people?
Speaker 4 (05:36):
I have no idea, but they very nice. They came
up to me at the Turtle Club, which is a
very cool place in Naples. You were day drinking, well,
vacation time, you know. Well, when you're sitting at a
table and somebody else orders a drink at noon, you
feel compelled. You know what, I'll have a glass of wine.
He jump in.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
He doesn't even remember leaving that, Lisa. Really, he was
blocked out at noon. I mean it's you have earned it.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Yeah, hey, Lisa, how much Mexico?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Mexico was good? It was. I feel like I've been
back for a while though, but it was. It was
literally eighty five and Sonny every day. It was hard
to come back.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
Yeah, it's crazy freezing, it was.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Yeah, we've just been in this cold snot but by
the end of the week it's going to warm up.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Absolutely. Justin. You won big at the slot machines this weekend, right.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Well, I wouldn't say big, but yeah, I'm not a
big gambler. But I went to Foxwoods and I put
one hundred dollars in the machine and like the third spin,
I hit five hundred.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Oh good for you.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
Yeah, and you know I took the money and I left.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
That's what you're supposed to do.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
You're supposed to do.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
I know, I learned that.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Get out of there.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Yeah, but there's a story behind the story. Your wife
Jen wanted you to play the penny slots, and you,
without telling her, went to the dollar slots and that's
how you hit.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Yeah, she was. She was making fun of me that
I'm going to lose the money in ten minutes, and
I said okay, and then I won. So I took
the money. Lisa a good husband, and I walked over
to her and I showed her the money. I said,
look at me, now hundred bucks.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
And you got a new car over the weekend I
made over the bakery.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
She'd get a new car. Yeah. I like to, you know,
update my car for a couple of years because I
drive so much from Sale, New Hampshire. So I got
a brand new car. You know, it's not brand, it's used,
but it's about a year old. But big shout out
to Kevin Highline Auto and Salem. Oh yeah, no affiliation
with Kiss or whatever. It's just a great business, great guy, Kevin.
He tracked the car down in New York because I
wanted kind of a specific car, so he's able to
(07:25):
lock it down. So new will wow six.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
Should I be calling this guy because I've got a
little issue with a car. Yeah, you can give him
a call. You can can help me out. I need
to get a least car out of the lease. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
Great guy went in there, really nice guy. He tracked
it down.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
So you're still dealing with that. That was a twenty
twenty five problem.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
It's twenty twenty six, bro.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
Yeah it's six.
Speaker 5 (07:50):

the new year. Any traffic issues out there, which you.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Don't know, it's pretty light this morning. The only thing
I'm going to say is it's it's freezing so just
and we're going to get snow tonight.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
And people are still trying to get home from the Caribbean.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Yeah, this major story. Some people are delayed a week.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
This is crazy.
Speaker 1 (08:17):

Speaker 4 (08:18):

waiting for somebody to come home, or you're trying to
go off on vacation, but you can't go to the
Caribbean because the airspace around Venezuela has been shut down.
Feel free to give us a call at our new number.
And that new number is eight seven seven six one
seven one one eight.
Speaker 5 (08:38):

because we have some things coming Secret Sound next week,
you should mention that it's coming back, so.
Speaker 1 (08:48):

I know I have a really good friend going through
chemo too, so identify with Kristin. Yet you know, yeah,
take our health for granted, you know.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
We certainly do. And by the way, a shout out
to my best friend Mike Rockett who's still fighting the
fight recovering. He had a stroke two and a half
months ago or so and he's still doing his best.
The shoutouts to Mike and his family. Let's go to

Speaker 14 (12:51):
No?
Speaker 13 (12:51):
Just when I work from home usually I have to
commute into Boston, so that takes about an hour and
a half of my morning.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Oh boy, well north Borough? I mean, what are you
doing up there?
Speaker 14 (13:01):
You know?

Speaker 4 (13:02):
There is north Borough up there? Or where exactly is it?
Speaker 13 (13:08):
It's text to Marlborough, your Shrewsbury kind of in between
the two with the other boroughs.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Yeah, yeah, one of them is not for Burrows though
with south Borough, I think South Borrow Boxborough Box Borrow
is not.
Speaker 13 (13:20):
A Foxborough Foxborough. Those are not part of our borrows
or fake burrows.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
I used to go to Marlborough a lot. My kids
played a lot of hockey at the Big Hockey Center there.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
I used to smoke marlboroughs.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
So we all have something in college. But good luck
with your day and have a good time at pilates.
Get it done, as they say, get it done.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
So hold on before you go to the next call.
This is actually really cool. So we have the new
phone number. Yeah right, and people are calling. We have
caller ID. I can see first and last names, which
I won't say on the air, but that's pretty cool.
By the way, you can also text the number as well.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
How does that work?
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (14:48):
It's like an owns jacket.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
So typically, what's the average game? What do you do
with the game? Is security?
Speaker 15 (14:55):
So I would be up in the three hundred levels.
It would just be like watching the fans no throw snow.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Wow, this is so cool. So you're not one of
the people that runs out to tackle the person that's
running out on the phone. No, no, no, that would
be cool.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
But you have to deal with all the.

Drunk people, right, there's some of the drunk men a
little bit scary.

Oh my god, she is one new favorite person. Ye,
sober is the new sexiest power of recovery. It is.

young or too old.

mark that down. It'll be the third of three games
on Sunday. Pats and Chargers eight o'clock. Coach Grabel right here.
Speaker 16 (18:56):
We'll get ready and get rolling and try to do
what we do every week. Just prepare and figure out
who who we have available and be ready to go.
That's that's all we've done all year, and it's all
we'll be able to do this week in the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
And here's Drake May on the Chargers right a here.
And then we come a long way.
Speaker 17 (19:12):
I think we uh, you know, it takes everybody. Took
it righty in the locker room, took every coach, and
I think it starts out that's what we wanted to
one of the goals host home playoff games, and this
is what we wanted to. So it's a winner go
home and the mentality think mentality changes from that standpoint.
But really I think we just take playing like us
and we've built this identity and played to it, and
I think good things happen.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Yeah, it's a crunch time Winter go home eight o'clock
game though. Yeah, on a Sunday night.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
We're gonna have to stay up for it.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Got to Yeah, so you got the Pats, Chargers eight
o'clock Sunday night, Bills and the Jaguars will play one
o'clock Sunday afternoon, the Eagles and the forty nine Ers
for thirty on Sunday, and then two games on Saturday,
Panthers and the Rams for thirty, Bears and the Packers.
How about that Packers eight o'clock Saturday night and then
the Monday night game Texans and the Steelers. Aaron Rodgers
(20:03):
is in the playoffs. Who would have got? It's like crazy?
Speaker 5 (20:08):
That division is not too good either.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
No, No, meantime, Seltz will host the Bulls in the
TV Garden tonight. Jaylen Brown on Saturday hit fifty points.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
Fifty freaking points.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
It was just draining them fro him everywhere.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
Yeah, I hope Tatum comes back. Yeah, oh my god,
thinking we're doing very well. Thinking maybe no after the
All Star break and yeah, get him back. I mean
he's running and jumping see the videos.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Yeah. And then there's Will Farrell. He showed up at
an LA Kings game dressed as an NHL ref pretty
goofy bit.
Speaker 6 (20:44):
I've always been in support of the NHL referees. In fact,
I trained two of the guys out here there to
my prize students, Brandon and Francis h they're doing, they're calling.
Speaker 5 (20:58):
A heck of a game.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
No, there you go.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
He's such a clown.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
Anyway. Karen Reid movie, The Lifetime movie The Karen Read
Story drops this weekend, and the trailer dropped on Friday.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
We need someone now, guy, he's on response.
Speaker 15 (21:19):
Jobs.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Just behind me is the location of the death of
Boston Police officer John O'Keefe.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Karan Reid, you have the right to remain silent. I
loved this man, Karen. Did you kill John O'Keefe? Karen
Reid had not been to do it.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Just feels like this whole town was crying. And I
met Karen Reid and her parents right before Christmas.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Well, that's right, I did. Yeah, you went to the
Ernie Bach event.
Speaker 8 (21:49):
You like.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Very nice? Yeah, very you know quiet. Her parents were lovely.
I had a nice conversation with her mom. We were
talking about because she's writing a book, so I was
trying to find out more details about that.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
So do we know anybody that's in the movie, any
of these actors.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Or that's a lifetime movie. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Well, yeah, there are some actors actresses that make their
whole career on lifetime. You wouldn't reckon I'm a big
lifetime we know. I didn't recognize any of them. Do
you think she looks like Karen Reid? I guess a
little bit, a little bit. Yeah, yeah, and justin you
had the Ernie Bark experience over the holidays, right, you
went to a big show.
Speaker 5 (22:27):
Oh, I went to Kill Tony. It's a comedy show
at the Box Center. It was It was a really
great night. My friends and I had a great night.
But yeah, Ernie put us in his seats there and
this little sweet we didn't even know. They came over
to us and go, do you know that you can
go into this little sweet day? So shout out to Ernie.
He was a nice Christmas gift.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
There you go. And you also saw Oh it was
the Mentalist right, Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
It's so much for in vacation. Yes, the Mentalist was fantastic.
He blew everyone's mind. I don't know how he does it.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
And he was good enough to call this show right
before we went on break.
Speaker 5 (22:58):
Yeah, and I did meet him, and I talked about
Chris your son.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Oh yeah, well that's right, because he did a whole
thing with my son.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Yeah, we talked all about it. But I said at
Chris cost and he goes, you know Chris Costa. Yeah,
everyone knows Chris Costa.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
Hey. The complete final season of Stranger Things is out,
the finale on Netflix as well as in theaters. In fact,
the finale took in twenty five million at movie theaters nationwide.
Some of the cast members showed up right surprise.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Vig Yeah, out in LA. But the big thing was
the soundtrack and that two print songs were used in
the finale. They had to ask the Prince Estate for
their permission and they never give their permission. They did
to the Duffer brothers and it was a huge deal.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
One of the songs, one Doves Cry, We got it.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
Don't want to give too much away. I know some
people have not finished the finale. Yah, I did like it.
I did like the finale.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
I got to tell you, there was nothing like a
Prince concert live. I was lucky enough to see him
a couple of times. Purple Rain, Are you kidding me?
It's in the finale?
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Well, these are two scenes that these songs are used in,
and one they wanted an upbeat song for the first one,
and then sort of an emotional, you know, pull for
the for the finale.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
You know what's really cool about Stranger Things and all
these old songs is it gives its new ears, younger ears.
Like my son, he's eight years old. Yeah, he loves
running up that hill. He was listening to when Doves Cry.
He loves mister Sandman. Yeah, mister Sandman. You know he's
only eight, you know, but he's kind of just discovering
these songs.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
So do you think the Prince songs will shoot to
number one?
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Absolutely? They all of the songs that even like I
Think We're Alone Now by Tibery Yeah that jumped so.
But on January thirtieth, they're releasing a vinyl of all
five seasons and all of the songs like a collector's item,
which would be really cool.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
Meytime separate from Prince the Joe Carey song and the
beginning is blowing up.
Speaker 5 (24:48):
This song's a couple of years old. We've played this
song on Kiss One. Await that's right, and he came
into the studios. People are discovering it that that's him.
They didn't know. They knew the song, but they did
not know it was Joe Carrey from Stranger Things.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
Okay, so now that Stranger Things is done, can we
get Joe Keary to come and do something with us.
I'm sure he will, right remember, like he couldn't do
anything until after, I mean, Netflix like owned him.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
But he did come on the show once and.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
He did little effort.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Well, we started playing that song. It was such a
huge deal to him because he grew up listening to
Kiss One. Wait he's from Newburyport.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Yeah. So Critics Choice Awards handed out last night the
movie One Battle after Another, which I finally saw over
the holidays. One for Best Picture. Chelsea Handler hosted the show.
Leonardo from One Battle after Another got there late and
he while he took some shots from Chelsea Handler.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Leo's here.
Speaker 4 (25:40):
Thank god.
Speaker 18 (25:41):
Leo almost didn't make it tonight because he was trapped
on a boat in Saint Bart's. It was just like
the Titanic, but worse because Jeff Bezos.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Was there.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
And Bart That's where Brady.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, yeah, her hand was all over his back on
New Year's Eve.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
I got to call my son and see if he
knows anything about this.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
There's quite the age difference between.
Speaker 5 (26:11):
There was a lot of rubbing going on. There was
a lot of rubbing, touching.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
He was touching him.
Speaker 5 (26:16):
Yes, she was all over.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
She was the aggressor, as they say.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
Yeah. Well there was on another yacht too, with another
sports person as well.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Oh, she was on a yacht with Miles Teller and
his wife work.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Yeah boy getting around the yacht scene. Timothy one for
best Actor. Yeah for Marty Supreme shouting out his girlfriend
Kylie Jenner.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
And last ye, I'll just say thank you to my
partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I
love you. I couldn't do this without you.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Thank you so much. Appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
No, he's going to get bonus points.
Speaker 5 (26:52):
Oh yeah, Marty Supreme is supposed to be incredible.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
I'm going to go this week and see it in
the theaters.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Yeah, at least the promotion he did. The promo he
did for that movie was like next level. Remember the
whole rapper thing. They thought he was a London rapper,
thought he wasn't, but he ended up doing a rap
song with that rapper as the Kid.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Meantime, our thoughts in prayers go out to kid Leroy.
He dropped another song this weekend. He's still whining over
the breakup with Tate McCrae. Listen here, he's dropping the
whole album Lisa Friday.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
He is actually crying he needs to move on. Yeah,
this is like that's like song number fifteen. And by
the way, Tate mccray's moved on. She's with a hockey
player now supposedly. Yeah, I don't know like the hockey
player's name, producer Riley does. You could tell us, oh.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Jack Hughes plays for the Devils.
Speaker 19 (27:39):
But I saw on Twitter that some song that the
Kid Roy just released has the lyrics like you flew
to see him do his thing, your heart is cold
as ice, and he's a hockey player. So people are like, oh,
you're writing about Jack Cues already.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (27:53):
Yeah, poor kid, he's so young.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
I just can't get off his knees. Yeah, it's humiliating.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
He's just such a little puppy dog.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Imagine if she didn't like them when she left him,
Imagine how much she hates them now.
Speaker 5 (28:05):
Oh, go away, perfect.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
Oh no, she's perfect. You gotta let it go. Hey, uh,
we're brought to you by lunch Dates. It's time to
ditch the apps. Let lunch Dates and their professional matchmakers
handle the search. Vetted high quality mciuse no algorithms. The
definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and
over and expecting a different results. So stop waiting and
start dating.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
You get it.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Stop waiting and start dating. Go to lunch dates dot com.
Or you can call six one seven date now. That's
six one seven date now, and there you go.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Lisa Lone.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
Yeah, we're back live. We are back from vacation. It
was very lengthy vacation. We all had a good time,
and so we're back and on this new year, we've
got a new number. We've talked about it a couple
of times, and the new number is eight seven seven
six one seven one eight eight seven seven six one
seven eight. And speaking of the new phone number, when
(29:02):
you call the show, you'll hear a new voice that
we have in the new year, and that's Katie. She's
our new phone screener. She's actually on the phone as
I looked for the glass right now, Patriots a big
story this morning. We've got that. And we're all back
from our vacations, and I guess we can talk about resolutions.
Is that something we still do?
Speaker 5 (29:21):
Well, what do you have one?
Speaker 4 (29:24):
Well, Lisa's got a bona fide resolution, and what is it? Lisa?
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Okay, so you know, we go back and forth to
Mexico all the time. My kids are really good at Spanish.
I was like, you know what, this is the year
that I'm going to become better at conversational Spanish. So
I joined du lingo and so that's that's going to
be my goal by the end of this year that
I could actually have some sort of basic, nice conversation
(29:51):
understanding of the Spanish language.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
I'm going to got anything so far? Yeah, yeah, give
us a little something.
Speaker 7 (29:56):
Me.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
I'm a Lisa. Just my name is Lisa, or soy
Lisa or okay?
Speaker 5 (30:00):
All right, hold on, let's let's take a lesson here.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Let's now move on to some delightful and useful greetings
in Spanish.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
Hi, it's called ola in Spanish. Can you try that?
Speaker 5 (30:10):
Please? We knew that Lisa Ola almost very good.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
Now I'm Lisa.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
You're not going to turn into like a Hilaria, so
I'm not awesome. Great for the show.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
A fake accent in Spanish would be awesome. Please make
that part of your resolution.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
That would be great.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
I do.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
I do like that. That's a great resolution. I always
wanted to learn Spanish. I'm half Spanish and I don't
know Spanish.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
Oh really, why did I think you were perroving?
Speaker 5 (30:39):
That is span I mean again, it's Latin.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Well, I do a lingo thing. I can add you
into my friends and family plan if you want me
to add you on.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
Really you can piggyback, yeah, and I could.
Speaker 5 (30:49):
I could learn. Yeah, you know, my dad speaks Spanish.
I grew up with grandparents speaking Spanish, and I never couldn't.
It's always I look Spanish, so it's embarrassing my whole life.
Anywhere I go and I meet somebody that's Spanish, they
talk Spanish to me, and I don't know how to
talk about it.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
Yeah, I came up with the resolution, but you have seconds.
You have to promise you're not gonna laugh, because I'm
taking it very serious.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
No promise.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
For the new year, my resolution is I want to
learn how to twork like professional.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
Zara Larson kind of was the jumping off point.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
I watched her dance all vacation. Anytime I went to Instagram,
there was Zara Larson again. She did it at our
jingle ball back in December. She has the ability to
separate her ass from the rest of her body and
I've never seen that done before. Have you noticed it
in your dancing. It's like she has a different engine
for her ass and then another engine for the rest of.
Speaker 5 (31:48):
Her It was all over my Instagram as well, all
the different jingle balls that she did ours in Boston.
The dance was fantastic.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
So here's my resolution. A. I'm gonna learn how to
work and you can help with this. Justin I want
to get an invite from Zarah Larson.
Speaker 5 (32:03):
To join her on stage. You're going to go on
stage and twur and.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
Do the dance.
Speaker 5 (32:08):
There we go. Lush life, baby, I mean listen. Learning
to dance is something that I always wanted to do.
That would be a possible resolution one year for me
because I got two left feet.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
Yeah, I don't see you as having much work.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
I just with my wife and I dance. I just
do the one two step and I just hold on her.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
Yeah you know, so Jenna good dancer? Can She's just.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
A good dancer? Yes, I did. We played Christmas games
at my house on Christmas Night Christmas Eve, and one
of them was a twerking game, which you should get.
It's a box of ping pong balls that you strapped
to your back and you have to twerk to get
the balls out. So it's a good way to move
you and move your ass. Well, my wife can separate
her ass from the rest of her body. Oh that's
(32:51):
probably why you married her.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
And she's not even dancing at the time.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
Justin where do we get the ping pong ball?
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Last? My wife where she got it. We played several
games on Christmas and that was one of them.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
That sounds fun.
Speaker 5 (33:05):
Yeah. The other one was we had a reindeer blow
up hat that my mother in law, Nanny wore, and
we had rings that the kids would throw onto the antlers.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
God, you guys are very playful grandier games. Yeah, do
you have a resolution? I actually do. Yeah, it's it's
actually it's kind of fitness related. I have a pad
shoulder from weightlifting that's been like for a year, and
so my resolution is to like put the weights down
and do physical therapy PT baby and fix it because
(33:35):
it's not getting any better. It's affecting me when I sleep.
PT is the one thing that can save you from surgery.
Speaker 5 (33:42):
I learned that from you actually because you had an
issue on your shoulder.
Speaker 4 (33:46):
I had a triple tear. Yeah, I had the shoulder,
I had the bicep.
Speaker 5 (33:52):
But PT it, I know it works. So I'm gonna
commit myself. I ared be an appointment. I have an
appointment next week, so I'm going to start. So my
shoulders is gonna be down.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
Lisa mush So if I tear something twerking, what muscle
is that?
Speaker 5 (34:08):
That would be your glutes, your hibs, wow, mainly your hips.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
So I won't be able to sit down for a while.
Speaker 5 (34:13):
Yeah, definitely not. You know what, why don't you on Spanish?
Like Lisa got you go?
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Now?
Speaker 1 (34:20):
It's topic time for the Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
If you're just joining us this morning. We're back from vacation.
But was I think a long vacation.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Very long, several weeks.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
Yeah, we come back to a new phone number, so
write it down now, don't wait another second. Eight seven
seven six one seven one oneh eight. It's a new year,
it's a new phone number. And again eight seven seven
six one seven one one oh eight. And we're kind
of doing something I didn't think would ever do again.
But I guess we have to touch on resolutions. Uh,
(34:51):
Lisa has a serious one. She's going to learn Spanish.
Speaker 19 (34:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
I already downloaded DUELINGO over the over the vacation and
started my lessons. So, yeah, I want to be more.
I wouldn't be able to have conversational Spanish, you know
by the end of the year. My kids are really
really good.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
At WOW, so maybe they can teach you a lot too. Absolutely,
and justin is part Spanish, I guess through your background
not from Spain.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
My my family's from Peru.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
And Lisa said, you can piggyback her lingo.
Speaker 5 (35:19):
I'll learned. That's something I always wanted. I always wanted
to do, is learn Spanish. It's good to know just
in general.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
And my resolution is learning how to work? Yeah, this
is at a professional level.
Speaker 11 (35:29):
What is When Billy announced his New Year's resolution was
to learn how to work?
Speaker 4 (35:33):
You can definitely hear producer Riley laughing in the background.
Speaker 5 (35:38):
That's great.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Yeah, yeah, she laughed in my face and I said,
it's a unique but I think she likes that.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
I'm going to do it.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (35:45):
But do you want to learn how to just twerk
or dance in general?
Speaker 7 (35:48):
No?
Speaker 4 (35:49):
I can dance. I've got some rhythm. I've always been
told I got rhythm.
Speaker 5 (35:52):
Well, twalking requires like a specific movement of the buttocks.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Yeah, it requires an ass which I don't don't have. Yeah,
so that's going to be the biggest chance.
Speaker 9 (36:02):
It's not.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
I don't think it's gonna.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
Work Billy's resolution.
Speaker 9 (36:05):
What I wouldn't give to walk into a zoomba class
and see Billy standing.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
Next to me. Do they oh, do they chalk and zoomba? Well,
you've done a zoomba class? Yes, I did it with
Why are you asking? I don't know, but anyway, I'm
sticking to it. Uh, it's working professional level. I want
to be invited places to talk. Okay, and now, ladies
(36:31):
and gentlemen, please welcome. You're like at a wedding, you know,
the band when they do the they just invite me
out and I just lead everybody in a tork session.
Speaker 5 (36:39):
I must say, at any event that has a dance music,
a wedding, anything like that, the person that can get
up there and dance, I'm always jealous of. Yes, man,
look at this person.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
Yeah, the first one on the dance floor.
Speaker 5 (36:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
And the first one on the dance floor typically cannot dance.
Speaker 5 (36:53):
At all, right, which is hilarious. Let's go to oh
is that prince online? One is the name Prince.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Colo, Prince Paula, Prince Nicola Nicola? Okay, are you okay? Nicola?
Speaker 13 (37:10):
I have a horse voice. But I didn't have a
good Christmas.
Speaker 10 (37:14):
The Grinch for visiting.
Speaker 13 (37:16):
I didn't see Santa. I didn't make the normal New
Years as LUSI I.
Speaker 15 (37:21):
Just stand God for giving me life to see another year.
Speaker 13 (37:26):
And I want a job.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Oh uh god, you know we had one, but we
just feeled that we have Katie our new phone screen
or otherwise, you know.
Speaker 8 (37:36):
But you love your voice, Jim.
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Okay, Well, thank you very much for calling. And by
the way, happy.
Speaker 13 (37:44):
New Year, Happy New Year. Sorry, but I wish you
all a bit and I hope you have a wonderful,
wonderful rest of the day.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
Well, thank you, and take good care of that voice.
I'm told throat tea. What are they called the throat
something throat coach t Yeah, well, thank you. It was Nikola, right,
uh Nikola.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
Yeah, she's looking for a job this year, so that's good.
Get like good vibes to her. She's going to get one.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
Sounds like a hard worker to me. Yep, yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 14 (38:13):
You know, Morning Morning crew, justin. I love that one
of your potential New Year's resolutions is learning how to
dance again. I love that for you, I love that
for Jen. I think that you too should investigate line
dancing if you haven't already, or swing dancing perhaps is
more your your style. I think that it'd be fun
(38:37):
and it would be a nice little reward after you
work on your shoulder. You can swing your wife around.
Super fun.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
Yeah, you across the room your line dancing.
Speaker 5 (38:49):
I don't. I don't see that either, but fun fact,
at our wedding, I was offered by an individual to
pay for our entire honeymoon if we learned the dirty
Dancing finale dance.
Speaker 4 (39:02):
Oh yeah, where you lift her up? Where?
Speaker 1 (39:04):
And you can do that?
Speaker 5 (39:05):
I declined. Why I had a fear that I would
drop her?
Speaker 4 (39:09):
Why would you drop her? You've got more muscles than
anybody I know?
Speaker 5 (39:12):
God forbid. On our wedding day I was to drop her.
And plus I don't I'm not a good dancer. I
could have learned. But that final moment where he picks
her up after slazy, I just was too full of fear.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Okay, and there she goes. Jen falls on the floor. Boom,
never speaks to you again. And how about this, Jen
falls to the floor and you pull your back out
so you can't work out anymore?
Speaker 5 (39:39):
Right, I know? And anything can go wrong, so I
said no.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Good morning and happy New Year everybody.
Speaker 13 (39:43):
It's Lucy. I have the best New Year's resolution. My
new year's it's not to have a New Year's resolution.
Speaker 4 (39:50):
So killed it already.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Hey, hope you all have a great day. Love that
we're all back together again.
Speaker 5 (39:56):
Yeah, because how often do we really stick with the resolutions?
Speaker 1 (39:59):
Well, that's it. Usually you just pick something that's like,
you know, low hanging fruit, like drink more water or
something like that, like something easy.
Speaker 4 (40:07):
Oh sober januine dry January, ry January. You know what,
leave me alone.
Speaker 5 (40:12):
There's nothing wrong with dry jen.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
There's nothing wrong with it. But don't try to force
it on me. Everybody wants to make you feel guilty.
Oh no, you're not having a dry January. I don't agree.
If it's okay, I'm going to have a glass of wine.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
Well, don't they call it damp January where it's like
you're sort of not drinking as much as you do.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
Oh, you just less than the amount I think.
Speaker 4 (40:31):
Yeah, but there's some pressure they want to put on you.
Oh you're not doing dry January. What's wrong with you?
Speaker 18 (40:38):
What?
Speaker 5 (40:38):
Yeah, it's it's just a trendy thing to do. But
I do agree with it, and a lot of people
do dry January and they keep it going. They do
because you feel better.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
Yeah, okay, fine, fine, you know what, I might have
a glass of wine right now. I mean, ninety plus
wine cellars is in the building, right we have a
refrigerator full of it.
Speaker 5 (40:55):
We do No, yeah, please don't do that.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
So my resolution was to stuck out of my comforts own.
I'm a city girl. I'm not really into like country
type things. My son wanted to go to the TV
Garden Professional bull Writing Championship was there on Saturday, and
it actually was amazing. I would totally go again. And
I got to meet Toukaesk, so it was pretty good fun.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
Is he a bull rider? Now he was spectator.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
Hey, we want to say thanks to the TV Garden
by the way for sending us.
Speaker 4 (41:28):
They sent us some merch, serious merch.
Speaker 5 (41:31):
I mean they sent us Bruins jerseys and Celtics jerseys
with our names on the back.
Speaker 4 (41:37):
Yes they're frameable. Yeah, oh, did you reach out to
our buddy while lead yet?
Speaker 5 (41:42):
I will do that, but yes, thank you to the
TV Garden for that.
Speaker 4 (41:48):
It was like a big flag.
Speaker 5 (41:49):
It's so thoughtful, it really is. They sent us a
jingle ball flag to which we're going to hang out
here at the office, so shout out to them. They
want to reach out to me so we can say
thank you. I would appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
My New Years resolution is to stop procrastinating so much.
Speaker 14 (42:04):
I feel like I find myself doing a little more
than I'd like, and yeah.
Speaker 1 (42:10):
That's something I just have to break.
Speaker 13 (42:12):
Do you guys procrastinate?
Speaker 5 (42:15):
Well?
Speaker 4 (42:16):
I think we all do to some degree, right, I mean,
can it's human nature. You know, things you don't want
to do, you don't rush to it, you know what
I mean, You get to it eventually.
Speaker 5 (42:26):
Yeah. I think for me, the procrastinating for me is
reaching out to friends, people that I love, you know,
staying in contact. You know, life short, you never know,
you know, So make the phone call, call that person
you haven't talked to it in a while, you know.
That's what I like to.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
Can I say one thing on the resolution thing before
we leave it?
Speaker 5 (42:45):
We know it's not for you, but go ahead.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
You know I was kidding about the tworking, right, I
don't think the intentions of tworking.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
Yeah, I'm like, because I was going to ask you, like,
where are we going to be doing this?
Speaker 4 (42:56):
And I could be talking and no one would know
because I don't about to ask. Yeah, right, you know
what I mean. You got to have a beefy ass
to really pull off trking.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
Well, yeah, if you have a very jiggly asked it
works better. Let it go baby oofs. Yeah you know
what I mean, but yeah, let it do.
Speaker 9 (43:10):
It's think Yeah, good morning, kiss. Wait, this is listener Lisa,
and my New Year's resolution is to be the twenty
twenty six Talkbacker of the Year. So let's get it started. Billy,
you might break a hip trking, you might want to
rethink that resolution. Love you guys.
Speaker 5 (43:31):
Yes, we should mention that it's a brand new year,
so that means a new Talkbacker of the year for
twenty twenty six.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
New opportunity for someone out there.
Speaker 5 (43:40):
Yeah, so we awarded Kim the Talkbacker of the Year
before we went on break. We had her in studio,
gave her some gifts, said thank you so that person
could be you and the race is on as on
that moment. Yeah, right now, so you know that's you
want to join the show. You can do that every
single day, anytime of the day. By the way, when
I come into the morning, if you leave it at
five o'clock, I will get it. And you can leave
(44:00):
a talkback on the iHeartRadio app. Just download it, leave
it a hit the microphone button, leave a talkback that
comes to me, and be creative like Kim. She won.
Speaker 20 (44:09):
Welcome back everybody, I missed you, guys. This is Kim.
I want to thank you again for picking me for
Talkbacker the Year. It honestly was a thrill of a lifetime.
I do want to say that I have retained top
dog law on pressing charges.
Speaker 1 (44:23):
I had no idea I.
Speaker 20 (44:23):
Was going to be filmed from the side. If I
had known that, I would have won my supersonic spanks
instead of the festive, decorated Christmas merk, and that I
had on
