Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, welcome back, Happy Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
A lot of you listening may not realize it, but
to every single morning Monday through Friday, right before seven
o'clock A, Lisa and I get on WBZTV News with
Paula and Chris, right, we do, and.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
We always, you know, talk about something fun in pop
culture on the show. Yeah, so now we have Chris
and Paula on our show.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Hey guys, you there, Good morning morning. Okay, so I
saw one of your segments. You've got this series airing
on WBCTV. That's so cool. It's called Never Too Late?
Is that what it's called?

Speaker 4 (00:32):
That is that's the branding of it. But basically it's
a bucket list item series that we're undertaking and we
all got to kind of pick one and live out
our dreams. This is in coordination with BBS Mornings at
the network level, and so far it's been a lot
of fun.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
Well, it has been really fun. And Billy, I know
you noticed last week.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Chris showed off, Well, Chris, you did is a Tuckerman's ravine.
Isn't that like kind of death defying for a skier?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
I don't know, well, I don't know if it's death defying,
but it's definitely the pinnacle for New England backcountry skiing.
I feel like in New England when you grow up,
you're either like on a pond or on a mountain
in the winter. If that was on a mountain, and
so that was always it. You know, there's it's right
near the summit of Mount Washington. There's there's no ski lift,

(01:28):
there's no lift ticket. You just gotta strap your ski
equipment on your back, hike up about three thousand, four
thousand feet and and then you just plunge down this
near vertical face. It can be dangerous in the winter
when there's a lot of ice, high winds, and then
in March and April where there's a big snowpack, there's

(01:49):
an avalanche risk. Oh we kind of did this spring
skiing version. That's far less dangerous.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Billy, Okay, Chris, you strapped your gear on your back.
Isn't it hard to walk in ski boots?

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Well, it is, so what you do for the first
uh two and a half miles, I would say that
three miles is you actually just buckle your boots into
your skis and then carry it all. So there you go.
You don't have to walk in the boots, you're just
carrying more weight. But once you get to the bowl
or the floor of the ravine, then yeah. We put

(02:25):
on our ski boots, put on some crampons, you know
those metal spikes under normal boots. Yeah, and Chudge trudged
straight up. It was more of an alpine climb than
a hike, and just went straight up the face. We
had the help. When I say we, this is my
coworker Pete, my buddy Dave who came along just because,
and we used Keith Moon from Vertex Mountain Guys, not

(02:49):
the musician, Oh.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
I thought you, yeah, no, but Keith is.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
With Vertex Mountain Guys up in New Hampshire. He's one
of the best in the business. And I can't imagine
trying to accomplish this wow without his expert.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Did you Did you ever almost get hurt?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
You know, probably at several points during the day, But
when we got to the mountain face, it was like
just just look one step in front of you and
if you're gonna stop, if you're going to look around,
stop and make sure you're leaning into the into the
ravine face, because I think that's where a lot of

(03:30):
people get hurt is where they lose balance and they
actually just tumble down the ravine.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
No, but you.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Know, I don't want to oversell this thing because it's
like it's a big party in the spring during the weekends.
There are thousands of people who do it. I kind
of equate it to like running a marathon, where you know,
globally the population of people who run a marathon is
very small, but like every year in Boston there's thirty
thousand people running a marathon.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Well, that's as you say that, that's that's Lisa's bucket.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Was an incredible, incredible job, and I call. I texted
him at about five or five thirty at night just
to say, hey, how did it go? He was still
hiking down undertake it.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
You mentioned a marathon, Lisa, that's your bucket lies.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
We talked about this last week. Yeah, the marathon by
one of them.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
We got to get you signed up and Paula Yours
is next on WBZ. Now what are you doing?

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Yeah, so you can watch Chris's on WBZ dot com
tomorrow morning starting at five am. I'm going to show
my night as the ball attendant at Snry Park.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
In the chair waiting for the foul balls.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
I was there right next to the first baseline, and
I don't want to give too much away, but you know,
as you can imagine, for me, it's a little bit
of a fishot of water seen to think about that.
But the Red Sox could not have been more gracious
and welcoming. And the ball attendants who were there that

(05:07):
night were fantastic to me, and you can tell they
really really care about the whole fan experience. They just
want it to be such a fun night at the ballpark.
And so yeah, I got I think for a lot
of people, if you think about all the things in
New England you you want to do, you think, oh
my gosh, what would it be like to be on

(05:27):
the field during a Red Sox game, you know sort
of part of the game.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Well, you know, Polly, you're expected to catch the foul balls.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
I know.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
My goal was to not get injured and with my teeth,
So that was that was my goal for tonight. But
Billy and Lisa, we wanted to ask you, do you
guys have something you've always wanted to try that you've
never done.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Wow, we just told you. Lisa wants to do a marathon.
She runs about twelve miles every day, so she wants
to get a marathon under her belt.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
I will, I will absolutely accomplish that.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
I think Ellie Charity team with the Boston Marathon would
love to have Yeah on board.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Oh yeah, she runs like a rocket too. Miyane Is.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
I drummed for years with a few bands, especially when
I was younger, and for some reason, I've always dreamt
of being on stage at a sold out concert as
the drummer for bon Jovi.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
Wow, it would be really fun.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I don't know where that came from.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
That happens.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, it has to be bon Jovi, though I don't
know why. Yeah. So really, yeah, so that's mine.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Oh that would be great, That would be awesome. Yeah,
these are.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
That's right, right. So when do we see your piece our.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Minus tomorrow morning, so starting at five am on w
b Z, and then later on we have Levin Reed
Uh decided when he was growing up he wanted to
be a firefighter and he went all in on that,
and Anna Miler wanted to swim with penguins and be
with penguins, and so we all have these really unusual

(07:10):
and different Uh stories that are coming out and are
sort of like ideas of things we all thought, boy,
I would love to do that. I might otherwise never
get the chance. And viewers are sending in videos to
CBS Mornings as well that they're running, and they've been
really fun, really fantastic.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I think it's a great series, and I think it's
going to spark and trigger a lot of people to say, hey,
I want to fulfill.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
My launch on bucket list.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Yeah, why not? Right, get it done?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Chris and Paula, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
You go ahead, Chris.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Yeah, no, I was going to say one thing underlying
about all of this. We want to do the buck list,
but the underlying theme is just don't mess up.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, yeah, you don't want to tell the story about
your bucket list attempt that failed.

Speaker 7 (07:54):
Give it exactly right, brilliant, Lisa.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
We will talk to you again tomorrow morning.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Okay, tomorrow morning, right before seven o'clock every morning, every morning.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Hi, it's Charlie Poof and you're waking up with my
two favorite people in Boston, Billy and Lisa on kiss
went away just now.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
The entertainment updates with the Billy.

Speaker 8 (08:12):
Constaf there when he was going to start talking again talking.

Speaker 9 (08:16):
About me, that's why she cut him off.

Speaker 10 (08:19):
Honestly, I was overt. He just didn't play my song.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Winn this morning.

Speaker 11 (08:25):
Yeah, spreading joy and positivity wherever she goes.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
The man Chucky Booth, what's wrong with you?

Speaker 10 (08:30):
I love him?

Speaker 3 (08:33):
We got to get him back in studio.

Speaker 9 (08:35):
Yeah, what's he doing?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
He got married, so he did. Yeah, I'm sure he's
writing music maybe for other people.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Yeah, very talent.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Get him back. We love him.

Speaker 9 (08:45):
Charnie Poo, Charlie, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (08:47):
I eat? Okay? And then there's that. Since we're talking
about Charlie Pooth and doing weird things, should we be
even more worried about Justin Bieber. We were talking about
that off the a couple of minutes ago in studio
one on.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
He's like reaching Britney levels now, like this is weird.
Someone needs to take his phone away from him. He's
posting really cryptic.

Speaker 9 (09:09):
Yeah, they're calling him this our generation's Britney. It's really
really sad. This weekend was bad. With the posts. He
also referenced ketamine, which is yeah, you know, it's a
little bit scary. Obviously. Matthew Perry died from a kedemine overdose.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
He looks so skinny.

Speaker 9 (09:23):
Yeah, and that thing where he's getting angry at his
followers and the fans basically is like scolding them for
judging him. But it's like, then don't post.

Speaker 8 (09:33):
He's posting like ups like if you haven't seen it,
like selfies of his face, but we're talking to cameras
right out at his nose basically, And it's the same
post eighty seven times. And Ke's posting like to scroll
and saying these weird things about God.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Underneath them he's begging God for forgiveness so he can
forgive himself.

Speaker 12 (09:50):
Well.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
He also posted something about transactional love and why should
he have to do something for someone to love him?

Speaker 9 (09:56):
Yeah, So who's it direct to that? Hayley?

Speaker 10 (09:59):
I don't know most of his family. I don't know
who's probably pays for his whole family life.

Speaker 9 (10:03):
Last week he posted a picture of him smoking a
bong with all of his Who are those guys that
are around? That's what I went enablers? Yeah, but he
had his son right there. Yeah. Yeah, Okay, Well, we'll
keep praying for Justin Bieber. Another reminder, best summer ever?
Still on your listening? You want to listen to the
iHeart app? And when we play a weekend song, and

(10:23):
that could happen at any moment, you want to send
us a talk back and you could get yourself tickets
for the weekend. He's in town tomorrow night and Wednesday
night out at Jullette Stadium. He had a couple of show,
three shows out at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey over
the weekend.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
So okay, listen on the iHeart app and so bring
the carpenter. At two shows in Barcelona this weekend, she
did the song It's raining men. Absolutely, she just gets

(11:04):
better and better, better and better. And she did a
transition from Bedgem her song into Pony by genuine Let's
go Gidio. That's nice, huh yea. And Miley Cyrus showed

(11:33):
up at the premiere of her visual album at the
Tribeca Film Festival and some of the fans showed up
for some reason thinking it was a concert, and they
started heckling Miley and finally got her to sing the climb.

Speaker 6 (11:49):
This is the of the film festival, and.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
I think she forgot the words at one point. She did.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
She was with people, everybody so aggressive lately.

Speaker 10 (12:33):
Well, it was dubbed as a concert.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Well for some people. Yeah, they got scammed and it was.

Speaker 10 (12:37):
Eight hundred dollars. So I'm like, I want to see
her singing he heard me something.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah, imagine if when he was in the crowd.

Speaker 9 (12:44):
Oh yeah, eight hundred dollars.

Speaker 10 (12:46):
Yeah, I want my money back that yellow.

Speaker 11 (12:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Oh god, Hey, Tony Award's handed out last night. Cynthia
Arrivo opening the show with Oprah, what are you doing here?

Speaker 10 (13:05):
It's the Tonys, it's you. I had to be here.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
And what do you do when everyone is hunting?

Speaker 10 (13:11):
What you need to do?

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Look at about them? Babe.

Speaker 10 (13:13):
The only thing you need to do is just be your.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
The original Yeah, it looked like a great night the
original cast of Hamilton performed. Does that mean they're going
to be heading out together again?

Speaker 3 (13:27):
That was the best Broadway show I've ever seen.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
That's right? You went.

Speaker 10 (13:33):
Were you able to see the original cast?

Speaker 3 (13:34):
I didn't see the original cast, but I'm telling you, like,
you walk in not knowing what to expect, and then
they blow your mind away. Everyone is so good.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Well the performance last night was mine? So good? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Maybe happy ending.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
One for Best Musical Purpose, one for Best Play, and
our old pald Nicole Scherzinger won her first Tony Award
for Sunset Boulevards.

Speaker 13 (13:57):
First of all, I just have to thank God for
carrying me every step of the way. I give you
all the glory. Okay, look, you all know this Broadway
schedule is hardcore.

Speaker 10 (14:14):
I got to keep it real.

Speaker 13 (14:16):
I had to write stuff down because I only have
oh my god, fifteen Okay, okay.

Speaker 14 (14:21):
Loosen up my buttons, baby.

Speaker 11 (14:24):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Congratulations Nicole. That's huge. Pussycat Dolls to the masked Singer,
to Broadway to a Tony.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
And all of that, all of those accomplishments. I never
understood the award shows. They have to rush you off
the stand.

Speaker 9 (14:38):
Yeah, they play the music off.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
A deep meaningful message and yeah we gotta go.

Speaker 10 (14:43):
Well they're trying to cramp so much into such a
short time.

Speaker 9 (14:45):
Yeah God they'll continue.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Uh THEO. That's what they do to people.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
You know, don't even.

Speaker 8 (14:59):
Get the This weekend the local New England Emmys. I
wonder if they had the music played off.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
I've been there, as you know.

Speaker 8 (15:07):
Well, I was doing that for you, but I don't
want to open that.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Well.

Speaker 9 (15:13):
Uh Jason Michael Channel four one, and he's coming into
the studio tomorrow. Is he going to bring the Emmy
with I can request that he won too. I think
he's kissing two Emmys.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Wow, good for him. Congratulations.

Speaker 10 (15:29):
Did you not submit yourself this year?

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Bill?

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Actually no, we didn't. Well, we don't want to hog
the awards. You know, I'm running out of room on
the or maybe it.

Speaker 10 (15:37):
Wasn't in the budget to pay for the submission. You
gotta pay this.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Again. I don't know to say that, Jason.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
You'll never say that you have.

Speaker 10 (15:47):
To pay to be submitted.

Speaker 9 (15:48):
And that's every award show.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Do you have zero?

Speaker 8 (15:53):
I don't have the money to submit, but I don't
have any any anywhere the performances either.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
I gotta tell you, every time I walk by them
at home, I get a little be.

Speaker 10 (16:04):
Proud of yourself nice.

Speaker 8 (16:06):
I'm not taking it away from Ucossa at every award show.
The Grammy's down to the New England Emmys.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Okay, could you play that thing?

Speaker 14 (16:14):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
There goes Winny again? Joy and anyway. The Lelo and
Stitch movie on the box won the box office again
this weekend. The new John Wick movie came in second,
and Our Old Pal and We Love Lewis Capaldi he's
been sidelined for a couple of years with tourette says
he's gonna perform the Glastonbury Festival this year. It was

(16:35):
two years ago at Glastonbury when he had that Tourette's
episode and all of his fans took over the song.
It was so cool.

Speaker 9 (17:08):
Yeah, pretty powerful.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Incredible that the fans new enough to just jump in. Yeah,
really cool. I have breaking news here. Oh, this is unbelievable.
I just found Bill cost his Emmy speech. This is
a joke, right, Like, this is why I get paid
to do what I do, because I just find things.

Speaker 9 (17:31):
And here it is. This is one of Bill's speeches.
I don't know where to start.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
This is wonderful.

Speaker 15 (17:38):
I think i'd like to start, of course, by thanking
my beloved Terry Bailey. If you're watching, thank you. I'd
like to I'd like to thank Kung Fu actor Bruce Lee,
because he's always a class act.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Hey, turn on news and I got a long way.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
To go here.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Turn it off.

Speaker 9 (18:02):
Okay, we just put that away in the archives.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Just put that away for good. Just Hey, Selena Gomez,
new Oreo cookies come out today.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Yeah they're cinnamon, right, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Okay, we don't need cinnamon.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
You're ruining a legendary cookie.

Speaker 8 (18:21):
Well, Billy's point is so far away from what the
oreo is. That's Simon oreo anymore.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Right, what are you doing, Selena?

Speaker 9 (18:27):
I'll try it out. The post Malone ones were Okay,
nothing's going to meet beat the original.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
Now what did you say? There's a mega stuff, the
mega stuff? Oh my god, that that has my name
written all over it.

Speaker 9 (18:38):
Okay, no, I leave your personal life.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Come on, we have.

Speaker 2 (18:51):

Speaker 9 (19:14):
Also, it's my mother in law Nannie's birthday.

Speaker 1 (19:17):

Speaker 2 (19:59):
It's we owed you time and time again. It's the
best summer ever. All you have to do is be
listening to us on the Kiss iHeart app Yeah, lest
track of myself there for a second. And when you
hear a Weekend song, well, you send us a talk
back and you know what, Shane did.

Speaker 17 (20:15):
Hey, Kiss one eight, Happy Friday to you. I'm a
big fan of the Weekend. My daughter and I both are,
and we often take drives and when we're taking that drive,
we listen to the Weekend and talk about how much
we love his music and the concept albums that he's done.
We'd love to go to the concert. Hope you consider us. Thanks,
and do.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
We have Shane on the phone right now?

Speaker 7 (20:35):
Hey Shane, Hey Billy, how are you get this?

Speaker 1 (20:38):
It's the best summer ever and you're the best dad ever.

Speaker 7 (20:41):
Oh well, thank you.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
I appreciate that little father daughter trip to the weekend.
What's better than that, right, Shane?

Speaker 7 (20:48):
Exactly, I'm really excited about it.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Now, do you have a favorite weekend song?

Speaker 7 (20:53):
Or I love Gasoline off the Don FM album.

Speaker 9 (20:57):
Oh you really are a fact? WHOA that's a good one.
He changes his voice a little bit.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, yeah, all right, Shane.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
That's so cool.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Well you did all the right things, Shane, and now
you get yourself tickets for you and your daughter and
off you go to Jillette Stadium.

Speaker 7 (21:17):
Awesome. Well, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Well, thank you for listening and for paying attention. You're
a good winner. We've had a lot of really good
winners for this, people who are die hard weekend fans.

Speaker 9 (21:28):
We've got a lot of talkbacks about it. You know,
every time you hear a weekend so this has been
going since last week. You know, people leave talkbacks and
we appreciate that. It's hard to pick. It's hard to
pick winners.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Shane's still there, Shank.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
There is Shane.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Make sure your daughter does something special for you for
Father's Day.

Speaker 7 (21:47):
Now, I'll try to try to find out if you will.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
All right, have a great time. You know what, call
us after you see the show. Give us a call
in the morning and let us know how it was.

Speaker 7 (21:57):
We'll do thank you. Kiss went away and Bill in
Lisa Morning Team.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
All right, thank you, Shane. There they go.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Best summer ever, driven by Jeep and this.

Speaker 9 (22:05):
Will continue all the way up until tomorrow and Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Yeah, I have a question for you. Just do you
think we'll ever use that Shane clip from the old
old Western from like the forties.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
We've actually gotten a lot of use out of it.

Speaker 9 (22:22):
Yeah, yeah, that's one of my top ones. Well, you know,
I try to have something for every name. Yeah, you know,
the boss doesn't like Yeah, oh I know.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
I know. It's not his show that you know what,
that's right, it's not it's our show until they fire us.

Speaker 9 (22:39):
It's our show, that's right. So if your name is
Shane and you call into this show, you'll hear this,
you know, and you know what, we just laugh ourselves.

Speaker 11 (22:48):
We do.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Yeah, as long as we're laughing.

Speaker 9 (22:51):
Yeah, that's all that matters.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Kiss talk Back leftovers, Let's round them up and get
them on Justhin.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (22:57):
The Billy and Lisa Show heard worldwide on the iHeart
Radio app, which is free to download. We say it
every single day. You can take us with you anywhere
you go, and that's where you leave the talkbacks. Right,
you listen to us on Kiss Want to wait? You
have something to say, you tap the little microphone button,
record it. You get thirty seconds and you can rerecord
it if it's not good, talk right into the phone.
You know, it's all the things that go into it.

Speaker 10 (23:16):
Lisa, I'll help you train for Boston.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
It's really not as hard as you think.

Speaker 16 (23:19):
It just takes like four hours out of your day,
one day a week where you just hate your life,
but it's gorgeous, it's wonderful, and the crowd just helps
you push through it.

Speaker 9 (23:30):
Well, Lisa, on your bucket list number one is to
run a marathon.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Yeah, so she's saying four hours. You have to do
the long run once a week because Billy, you've done
a lot of them.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Yeah, but you don't start the long run until well
into your training. You know, right away to a fifteen mile,
but you're already doing eight, nine, ten miles.

Speaker 9 (23:47):
Yeah, you can do it, least I'll take it on.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
It's called a bucket list. It's not a timed bucket list.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Maybe in a year or two, but yeah, I can
do it.

Speaker 9 (23:56):
All right, that sounds good. Earlier we had our topic
about summer job the worst summer jobs, and I had
mentioned that mine was when I was twelve. I would
go with this public, this healthy person that worked like
front of the family, and she would send me into
stores with money to try and buy cigarettes, and if
they sold them to me, she would then just walk
in and give them a citation and a fine. I
was basically a snitch. You were my first job.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
I was twelve.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Justin, you are so lucky.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
You always need to remember snitches get stitches and end
up in ditches.

Speaker 9 (24:27):
Yeah. Yeah, in my defense, I wasn't in the life yet.
I mean I was just a kid taking twenty dollars.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
You didn't know what you were doing.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
I did. I didn't know, no, Captain Mike. Yeah, justin,
what a crazy.

Speaker 12 (24:38):
Life you've led from being a twelve year old cigarette
knarc snitch smoking you cigarettes from the streets of the
city of Boston to doing boat talks and the laser
hair removal and doing ice pats in New Hampshire.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Now that's full circle. Yeah right, he's so right.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Oh yeah, he's right.

Speaker 10 (24:56):
Come quite the way.

Speaker 9 (24:58):
Well, it's funny because the I've told the story before,
but the courthouse down the street in Maldon, they had
this ashtray on the front that was sand. So the
lawyers that would come out for smoke break or the
people that were in court, they wouldn't have a short
amount of time, especially the lawyers, so they would come
out like a cigarette and they would take one or
two poles right and they would stick it in the sand.
And it wasn't like an ashtray that smourtsh the cigarette.

(25:20):
It's like it just goes out. So I would go
by there when they would go into session and I
would just fill up a little bag with all the
snipes and.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Then smoke them.

Speaker 9 (25:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
So did some of them have lipstick on them?

Speaker 9 (25:32):
Some some of them did. I mean I couldn't afford say,
I'm telling you that's a good hustle.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Yeah, it was just a snitch ripping butts outside the
Let's be easy with that word Bill.

Speaker 10 (25:44):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
So I was just wondering if.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
You walk around all day long.

Speaker 11 (25:49):
Saying silly clips like Legatube or Portland Maine or the candy.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Because I do thank you love your show.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
I definitely do the cat we do.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah, what the candy here? Hold on another twenty times?
Who cares we're getting married?

Speaker 9 (26:12):
I actually think about that clip every holidays too, every
holiday and then Maine, Oh yeah, what are you going
up there for?

Speaker 2 (26:22):
The funny thing about that clip is that was Ernie
Bok and he had no idea what I was talking about.

Speaker 9 (26:30):
What are you going up there?

Speaker 8 (26:31):
For?

Speaker 4 (26:31):
Him?

Speaker 8 (26:31):
I would love you guys to weigh in like the talkbackers.
I think that sounds like Ted. I know it's Ernie
b Jr. But for the longest time I thought it
was justin editing Ted like the little Teddy Bear. Yeah,
he sounds what are you going up there for? He sounds?

Speaker 9 (26:48):
Does Ernie know that we play that regularly?

Speaker 1 (26:51):
You know what?

Speaker 9 (26:51):
I'm not sure We'll have to ask him.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (26:54):
I saw Ernie at the Red Sox game. He was
on the broadcast. Yeah, for his he was in the
brock Booth the last week. Yeah, yeah, look at too
many good ones. Hi, it's the Mayor. A great show today.

Speaker 14 (27:09):
By the way, I love Billy Costas slapping towels story. Hey,
you haven't played loosen Up My Buttons yet? God, you
know that Tate McCrae song. They sound very similar. Let's
hear them loosen Up my buttons. Have a great day everyone.

Speaker 9 (27:25):
I mean, he has been asking for a week now
and I haven't played it. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
It's a good time for her.

Speaker 9 (27:31):
That was a jam that wasn't And the sports car
does sample that song it's the same because oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Right, yeah, it's the same song.

Speaker 9 (27:45):
It's the same song. Yeah, they just took it and sampled.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
It and you made the Mayor of the South End happy.

Speaker 9 (27:50):
Let's go, mister Mayor.

Speaker 14 (27:51):
Loosen up my buttons, baby kids one away.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the Morning.

Speaker 9 (27:58):
All right, So the best summer ever can news? This
has been going since last week. Every time you hear
a weekend song on the iHeartRadio app, that's the key piece.
You have to be listening to the show or kiss
went to wait on the iHeart app. When you hear
a weekend song, you leave a talk back. You never
know you could be at the show tomorrow or Wednesday,
like Shane.

Speaker 7 (28:15):
Oh well, thank you, I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
Now, do you have a favorite weekend song or I.

Speaker 7 (28:19):
Love Gasoline off the Don FM album.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Oh you really are a fan? I've soaken up the moon.

Speaker 9 (28:28):
Yeah, Shane's a true fan for sure.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Absolutely big Winn good winner against Shane.

Speaker 8 (28:33):
I just from listen to him, I don't really peg
him as the weekend right.

Speaker 9 (28:36):
Yeah, I think his daughter is. Yeah, he kind of
is by default.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
He knew the early song though.

Speaker 9 (28:41):
Yeah, you put him on the spot, yeah, and he
nailed it. So that will continue through today through tomorrow
to Wednesday, both shows. So listen out for the Weekend
on the iHeart app. This morning we had our topic
time at seven forty. It's different every single day. Today's
was fun. Worst summer jobs. We're coming upon summer and
a lot of young people are going to get their
first jobs for the summer and then not going to

(29:03):
like them.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Weird a summer job.

Speaker 18 (29:04):
I worked a like homemade lemonade stand and I had
these huge, long pink acrylic nails and then so I
was like squeezing a lemon made the whole lemonade for
the customer, gave it to the customer, saw my big
pink nail floating at the bottom, still gave it to them.
They never came back, So not sure what happened with.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
That little bonus in the lemonade.

Speaker 9 (29:30):
Wow, Lisa, you had a lemonade stand.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
I did.

Speaker 9 (29:32):
You did a.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Long time ago when I had a lemonade stand. The
one thing that I remember the most was my mother
telling me that I had to go out and I
had to talk to people and I had to get
them really interested in buying my lemonade because that was
the only way we were going to sell lemonade. So
for me, it was like helping me really break out
of my shell and share our lemonade with all of

(29:56):
our neighbors.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
Wow, that was quite the lemonade stand. People learn from you.
The speech, Yeah, it's life changing. Yeah, graduation, a commencement
speech or sometime.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
I was speaking of Babson actually, because they have this
thing called Lemonade Day where they do it all around
with all these kids and they help the kids do
lemonade stands. It's like a business school.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
So that was that lemonade day.

Speaker 9 (30:20):
Oh well, it wasn't as good as Billy's Emmy speech,
that's for sure.

Speaker 11 (30:24):
Thank you Justin for making my Monday morning and my
week by playing the anchorman Billy Emmy Award acceptance speed.

Speaker 10 (30:38):
That was the funniest thing I've heard.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
I'm crying.

Speaker 11 (30:41):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (30:44):
Bill thinks about that speech every time he walks by
his Emmy's case at his house.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I don't know where to start.

Speaker 15 (30:51):
This is wonderful. I think I'd like to start, of course,
by thanking my beloved terror Daily you're watching, Thank you,
I'd like to I'd like to thank Kung Fu actor
Bruce Lee because he's always a class act.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
A long way to go here, turn it off?

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Yeah, yeah, And one of the odds I actually had
about loved Terry or Bailey.

Speaker 10 (31:21):
Yeah you did, Yeah, one of the odds.

Speaker 9 (31:24):
R I P Yeah. Speaking of Emmy Emmy's Jason Michael
from w b Z TV will be in studio tomorrow.
Him and his partner are big fans of our show.

Speaker 10 (31:34):
Wait is he coming with his boyfriend?

Speaker 9 (31:36):
I'll find out, Okay, But Ryan, Yeah, he won two
Emmys this weekend.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
I saw that on his Instagram. Congratulations, talk about that?

Speaker 9 (31:44):
And also the rain?

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Yeah, what are we doing?

Speaker 3 (31:48):
Just a nightmare?

Speaker 2 (31:50):
Doesn't it seem like ever since Jason Michael came to
town it's been rain.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
I don't think we can find out why.

Speaker 9 (31:59):
I fall him on Instagram and no matter what moved
him in when I see him post, I just smile.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
He's mister Sunshine, he really is.

Speaker 9 (32:06):
Yeah. Yeah, So tomorrow morning at a ten.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Is the Mighty One back from DC?

Speaker 10 (32:11):
I believe, I.

Speaker 9 (32:12):
Think so, I don't. I don't know. He was at
the Pride festival.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah, found there all right? Possibly the Mighty One?

Speaker 8 (32:18):
No, yeah, you could still be in DC celebrating Pride.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Yeah. But if if he's not back, someone else will
be here for him.

Speaker 9 (32:29):
Well, we hope it's in the cave.

Speaker 14 (32:31):
He's so handsome and he's so gay.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Mighty One we think is up next.
