Speaker 1 (00:00):
So over the years on this show, we've talked to
some degree about what we call Disney adults. People who
as adults love going to Disney, love going to vacations
in Disney World or Disneyland.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
It's kind of a rare breed, right.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
I love dressing up, they love going as a single person,
they love going as a couple, and they do it
and they are like, all in Well.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
It's funny because we teased this topic a few minutes
ago on the show. Ashley from the Down the Hall
the gem In Morning show came out.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
She said, you got a gripe with me? I said,
what are you talking about? What I do?
Speaker 1 (00:35):
She said, I happen to be a Disney adult and
she's hardcore.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
Yeah, she's a Disney person. Yeah, which is great.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
I love that people have a passion, Like if they
love Disney, that's amazing.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
It's a place for them.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
So there's a new development for Disney adults exactly. So
this app creator is coming up with a dating app
called Single Riders. So it's basically like jumping off of
their single Rider lines they have, which allows on a
you know, like single people to go into a line
and they fill empty seats, you know, and then cuts
down on the wait time.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
So yeah, god, this is even sadder.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
That is true.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Okay, so you go to the park, you're a single
Disney lover and you can go and they have like
the singles line like they do in skiing, like in
the ski line, because you're you you skiing and I ski, well,
like you can if you ski by yourself, you can
go in the single line. You get you get up
onto the mound on the chair left a lot sooner
because you just jump on and so it's basically the
same idea in Disney. So that's that's why they came
(01:39):
up with that name, because it's the single.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Line that I need to ask what there are people
adults who go to Disney alone?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, you know it's a Disney adult.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Yeah that is.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
When I went to Disney a few years ago for
the first time, it was my biggest takeaway. I had
a great time with my watch of my child, but
it was the people walking around with no kids. They
have the ears and everything, and it was like, oh.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Yeah, I'll dressed up but alone.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
Yes, yes, yes, really. People move to the Orlando area
just so they can go Disney all the time. It's
actually like people will literally decide to move to Orlando,
kissing me anywhere within the realm of Disney World so
that they can get a pass for the year, which
is like a thousand dollars, right, and you can go
any day anytime and ride or ride, go get food.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
But I need to be clear, you're talking about a
person alone.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Yes, So they like being part of this community, yes.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
And now because of this app, they can meet other
Disney adults. Hi, my name is Joe.
Speaker 6 (02:37):
I am one of the developers of Single Writers and
other theme park enthusiast dating app. So if you guys
have any ideas of things that you would like to
see in our dating app, please let me know. But yeah,
like I'm super excited this is happening.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
You can meet other like minded individuals like yourself.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
I actually know a couple that they're Disney adults and
they met as adults and they both have love for
Disney and that's probably one of the main reasons they
got married.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
I'm not even they go to the park.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
They just bought one of those Disney vacation club things
where you go like at least I.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Think Disney cruises.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
No, so they I know, they moved to like Kentucky,
so they're a lot closer now to Disney. They don't
live and they thought about the thing too, and they
just fought the Disney Vacation Club. So they go a
couple times a year. They have everything mapped out. They like,
they are obsessed. And I gotta say, I think it's
a little bit more interesting that the man is such
a Disney fan than the female, which I'm not I'm
(03:34):
not being sexist or bised. That just feel like maybe
it's a little bit more socially except for the girls
to want to be princesses and like you have like that.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Does he like the ride?
Speaker 5 (03:42):
Yes, yes, they go on the rides. They're in their
late thirties.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
So a man in his thirties.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Late thirties alone, yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Will walk Disney World wearing now.
Speaker 7 (03:51):
He's a wife.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Well, now he's a wife. So they got engaged at
Disney and.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
They again, this is like a shared experience for them.
It's a passion, and they found each other.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
I will say the girl I've known a lot longer.
I don't really know the husband. She's like a family
friend and she's very sweet, and I don't say an innostant,
but she has like kind of like almost like a
very sweetness to her where she would be a Disney
adult Like she's like just sweet and kind and just
not like just seems.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
I don't say simple houses decorated into.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
Yeah, you can buy property on Disney property and live
there forever. Really, they don't all dress up either, They don't.
Speaker 8 (04:30):
Listen, not all of us Disney adults dress up.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Okay, just so you know, yeah, Melissa.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Online one, isn't there a community called Celebration or.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
Celebration Celebration in Florida.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
It's like a whole community right around the park.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
It's owned by Disney. You can own Yeah, people live there.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yes, really, really, you take it easy. We have this
here with Mickey and Miny.
Speaker 9 (04:52):
You guys, okay today you can't we have Marissa.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
I'll okay, Marissa, are you wearing Mickey ears right now?
Speaker 8 (05:05):
No? I will say there's a fine line of the
Disney adults, And I hate saying that I am one
because I'm not dressing up. I'm not going crazy. I
just really enjoy like the presents there, like the parades
and the rides. But I did want to chime in
just on the dating app. There's a huge Facebook community
group about Facebook Dating with Disney adults, and they'll put
(05:28):
on like their whole costumes, outfits and everything, and it's
actually like it's a huge thing. So I think the
app might have some competition. I'm just saying, Wow, this
is so cool.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
So we actually have a listener, Marissa, where are you
calling from?
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Marissa Stoton Stton, mass.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
So you are one of them and you listen to.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
No, this is there To Marissa's point, there's the people
that really enjoy Disney might go once or twice a year,
it's just because they want to experience. Then there's the
next level people that it's their whole personality. They have
to buy every Mickey ear, they have to live in Florida,
they have to go, and.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
They've got multiple costumes.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Yes, and there's a there is a difference, a big difference.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Marissa, You're not one of them.
Speaker 10 (06:12):
No.
Speaker 8 (06:12):
I just enjoy going for the rides and I like
going there for like the parades and the fireworks. But
I would not qualify myself as a Disney quote unquote adults,
Where's where's your popcorn baskets?
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Where's your favorite place? To stay.
Speaker 8 (06:26):
I like the All Star resorts. Honestly, they're so close,
they have the transportation. It's not crazy, isn't.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
The All Star resort for Little League kids? No, it's
the kind of the lower end hotel. Yeah, but the
Little League teams go there.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, it's the cheapest. Yeah, but still but even the
cheapest hotels in Disney are still nice.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
Oh yeah, of course. I think it's more interesting people
that literally moved their whole life to live in Florida
for just to go Disney like that.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
That's that's a commitment that really is just fascinating to me.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
But I honestly think I low key think this is
very like it's a common interest. It would be, and.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Again it's a shared passion. Yeah, and that's what everybody's always.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Like, of course it is. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
Okay, stop, Billy, you have to stop.
Speaker 7 (07:07):
I have to.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
We have to before he says, oh no, they're all
coming out now, kiss okay, justin please tell me that
the Disney adults are not coming at me.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
No, not so much. Okay, but there's so many of
them out there. They just you know, I love about
Disney adults. They own it.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Yeah, Oh yeah, I love it.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
I love it.
Speaker 11 (07:24):
Let me tell you something.
Speaker 12 (07:26):
I am thirty years old and I.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Go to I go to Florida with my family.
Speaker 12 (07:30):
Every single year. No one else wants to go to Disney.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
You bet your bottom dollar.
Speaker 12 (07:35):
I'm going alone.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
I am the biggest Disney adult.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
I am not a weird Disney adult.
Speaker 12 (07:40):
I don't dress up. I don't even wear Mickey only clothes.
I just love Disney. I love Disney.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
See, that's one of my points.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Unless you're a Disney adult, you're not going to say,
bet your bottom dollar.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
That's a Disney adult.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
It's very wholesome.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
Yes, going to the park alone, it's actually good if
you're a rider, because, like Lisa said, you got to
ride so much quicker, you can do so much. Alan Oh,
I definitely see that.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
I definitely see that advantage to being a single adulta Disney.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
The kids do nothing but hold you back. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
We went a few years ago and they're expensive.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
We spent so much money. Within the first hour in
the park, my son wanted to go home to the
hotel to go in the pool. Yeah. We have a
pool at home, right, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (08:25):
Yeah, because you know they have nanny though that you
can you know, hire so that you can go do
stuff as adults because your kids hold you back. So
you said, all this money, then you pay like forty
dollars an hour like this nanny service.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Actually started talking about bringing my mother in law the
next time we got Disney. Yeah, stay back with the kids.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
You're right, because there's always one that just can't deal
with it.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
I don't think there's any smoking in the park.
Speaker 5 (08:48):
But yeah, and your mother in law's smoking. Hotel, no
smoking anywhere. And it's literally fun. You're saying.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
In the bathroom in the hotel room, cracking the window.
She's coming back from Florida tomorrow. Wow, And so you
know you can get off the plane. I don't smoke
right outside the doors at Logan.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
No you no, I don't think you can smoke it.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
He says, you can.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Oh, she probably makes it way.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
She'll do what you want anyway. Anyway, what's up with
the celebration place.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
In Florida so they can buy home?
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Yeah, it's a community.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Oh, it's a community.
Speaker 13 (09:24):
Lisa, Okay, Good morning, Billy and Lisa Crewe. Alert listener
Lily here. I used to work for the urban planting
firm that designed celebration Florida. The creepy thing about that
community is that it's full of traditional wives where the
milkman still comes. Most of the wives work from home
and the husbands are the providers. It's very very nineteen fifties.
Speaker 7 (09:48):
Yeah, I don't know, it's a little creepy.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
You know.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
It's like, don't worry, no, don't worry, darling. Remember that, Yes,
Harry Styles movie.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Yep, that's exactly.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
What it was. You see them on TikTok to be influencers,
and they have these extravagant lifestyles where they take the
golf court over over to Disney Springs or whatever, and
their husband clearly is the provider, and they have the
kids perfect, they have the dresses on like they are
just the pearls.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Yep, And all of a sudden, the milkman's knocking too often.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
He's back again.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
There's still a milkman around here.
Speaker 9 (10:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Cleston Ridge, she can still have milk delivery.
Speaker 7 (10:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Again, it's like, yeah, it's old school, but people still do.
Speaker 5 (10:27):
I think two places, that's her farm and Crescent Ridge
both deliver milk.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Still celebration, Yeah, very nicety.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
You know, they're both Milton and Sharon Stowton.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Yeah, wow, very nineteen fifties.
Speaker 14 (10:40):
Her job is to make a home the American home today.
It is perhaps the most important job in the world.
How many years will she have before the job gets
her down?
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (10:51):
Will it take her youth, her good looks, her health?
Will it spoil her dispositions and finally wear her out?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Celebration?
Speaker 1 (11:02):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (11:02):
Boston?
Speaker 9 (11:03):
Justin Biaver?
Speaker 3 (11:04):
This party right now and we're back with the Billy
and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Now the entertainment update for the Billy constat.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
So I mentioned it a couple of minutes ago. I
think it's worth mentioning again. Caitlyn Clark and the Fever
are in the garden tonight.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Yes, Indian Indiana Fever and the Connecticut Son at the Garden.
And this is the first time Caitlyn Clark's been here.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Yeah, it's a big deal. I think this game sold
out a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Did Is Dave Portney going to be there? Very good question.
I think we will be all her games, yeah, Caitlyn Clark.
And it's in Boston, yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Right, And he has a house in Nantucket so it's easy.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
And right before we went on vacation, there were more
and more stories about the aggressiveness in the WNPA and
this one player in particular.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
I think it's Sheldon as her last name.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
It is constantly attacking Caitlyn Clark, the punching or in
the face, and it's getting crazy on the court.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah, but it's never been bigger the WI I.
Speaker 8 (11:59):
Know, never, Hi, Justin and producer Riley.
Speaker 10 (12:04):
I know you guys are talking about Caitlin Clark coming
up on air and I'm a huge Indiana Fever fan.
Speaker 15 (12:10):
I'm going to the game tonight.
Speaker 13 (12:11):
So if you want someone from Boston to talk to you.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Guys on air, I was love to chat.
Speaker 8 (12:19):
I'm such a super fan.
Speaker 10 (12:20):
All right, talk to you later.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
All right, she's hired tomorrow morning. She got to call
in and review the game. Right, Please tell us what
it was like you the talkback while you're there. Yeah, yeah,
I'll get it. It doesn't have to be in the morning.
Speaker 12 (12:30):
You can leave it.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Talk back anytime of the day from the stands. Yeah,
during the action. Just since we're talking about sports, I
don't know if you caught it last night, the home
run derby cal Rawley, otherwise known as the Big Dumper,
won the derby.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
No, it will not get out.
Speaker 9 (12:52):
The Dominican dominance comes to an end.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
The Big Dumper is your Home Run Derby champion, first one.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
You're twenty five.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Kind of a cool story because a he won. He's
the first catcher and the first switch hitter to win
the home run Derby. But his dad pitched to him
last night and his brother caught, which is kind.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Of really you know, you don't.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
You don't think you're gonna win it, and you don't think.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
You're ever gonna invited, and then you get invited, and
you know the fact that that you went it with
your family and super special and just.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
What a night.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
I think I can safely say that's the first time
we've had the Big Dumper on the show.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
What a name? Again? Is that an insult or?
Speaker 1 (13:39):
I think in some ways it's a compliment. In some ways,
I guess he's got a big old butt.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
I guess. So, so what a dreaming as a father
and son. Magine right, it's been going since Little League
and now he wins the home run Derby And it
was kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
The post derby press conference, you had the Big Dumper
and his dad and his brother.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
All sitting there for the press conference. Kind of a
cool moment.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Uh cold play in the Gellette Stadium tonight. That is massive.
Sixty thousand plus in Jellette Stadium, including our own Leasa Donovan.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Two sold out nights. We will be there. Bucket list moment.
Can't wait do it's this show.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
I can't even speak.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Your show starts at six o'clock, so if you're planning
on going, it's early. There is an opening act. But
but yeah, but there's a one percent chance. Our boss
called me last night and said that there's a one
percent chance and I may be able to go and
meet Chris Martin after the show.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
That's if you're getting a call from the boss the
night before the show, that means he's talked to the
record label people and this is looking pretty.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Good for it.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
Again, it's one percent. I wouldn't say is looking pretty good.
I think.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
They set the bar low because I'm assuming it's going
to be how Chris feels after the show. Yeah, if
he's super tired, worn out, he's not going to want to.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
Meet it exactly, He's not going to want to do it.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
But tell me yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, So and we're ready, we're like leaving at the
house at like two thirty this afternoon.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
I think you should leave now.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
I know you have to be all in with a
show like this at Gillette.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Oh yeah, it's gonna be good show.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Good morning, everybody.
Speaker 10 (15:16):
I just want to call and say I am super
excited about tonight. I won tickets to cold Play the
first time you guys did the match game a few
months ago, and I am super excited to be going
there tonight and just wanted to say thank you again
for the opportunity to go.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Well. She won way back in the in the winter.
We did the match game. Yeah, we did the match
game twice this year already.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
And then we had somebody sent to talk about it
earlier this morning or call in who got tickets from
us in two thousand and one or something.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
At the Avalanche that I went to that was the
first time I interviewed. Chris Martin was right before that show.
That was amazing. And Tom Brady was there too that night.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
That's a great venue too for a cold Play shown.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
The new Smurfs movie arrives this Friday. Rihanna not only
has music in the movie, she plays the main character Smurfat.
Speaker 16 (16:09):
It's not a dream that I even had. I never
thought it would be possible, like play Smurf Fun. We
all as little girls, Like if you were a fan
of the Smurfs, you've always wanted to be Smurf Fun.
So having the opportunity to play her and bring my
own thing to the character a big deal, A lot
of pressure and super super exciting.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
And we've got a clip from the song in the
movie right, just us funny thing with Rihanna. She's been
away for so long people kept waiting for new music,
new music, and now it's not only music but a movie.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Too, right that she's starring in.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
And she's pregnant right now on the red carpet with
her third child, so this is perfect Good brought the
kids to the premiere.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
It was a big weekend coming up in Showcase Cinemas.
You'll have the Smurfs movie, You'll have the Jurassic movie
and F one and Superman and Superman.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
I feel like people aren't going to Jurassic the way
they thought they would be going, right, Lisa.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
Yeah, I feel like Superman just completely took over, just
like movie marked.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
Our li from Showcase told us.
Speaker 5 (17:18):
Yeah, no, it really did, because I was gonna f
one times and it has them not that long, and
there was only two f one times, and then there
was like twenty seven Superman times.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Hey, in Atlanta, get this, somebody broke into a car
belonging to Beyonce's choreographer and a couple of large suitcases
were stolen. And there's a report suggesting in the suitcases
may have been some unreleased Beyonce music. So police are
out there looking to cuff someone.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Please remember a couple of years ago that song was.
It was big and Bill couldn't stop saying cuff it.
Speaker 5 (17:56):
Oh my god, I love that era. I love that Billy.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Era all day. Look if you're if you're a thief,
that's a huge score. But then again, what are you
going to do with it? Sell it? But you're gonna
buy it, then we're gonna be hot in your tail.
Black Paint had a show in La this week.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Rose brought out Bruno Mars for APD and Lewis Capaldi
went on Foulin last night talking about his return to performing,
(18:33):
especially the Glastonbury Festival just recently terrifying. It was most
of his and the lead up to it, I was like,
this is the worst thing horrific.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
I made a terrible decision.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Yeah, and then it went and then we did it
and it was really beautiful and lovely and it went
as xactly as how I hoped, and it was Yeah,
probably the best day of my life.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
He sounded good, isn't he?
Speaker 10 (18:55):
Lord?
Speaker 4 (18:55):
Yeah, he sounds great.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Looks good too.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
He is back And I remember was it you and
when he were in his dressing room when he did
Big Night Live or something?
Speaker 2 (19:04):
MGM MGM. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Bad Bunny dropped a new single yesterday. Obviously we've got
a cli.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
We're gonna be banging out on the room.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
But today I'm sure, but our sister station will be
playing this plenty and probably even maybe jamming.
Speaker 15 (19:27):
Yeah, and Rique Santos yes see us their morning and
the new one from Bad Bunny. I love him, I
love all that. We love th great down the hall.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Let's go UH. The new Jurassic World movie, which.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Apparently not as many people as expected or seeing, UH
is streaming starting August fifth, which probably explains it.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
That's a signet, get it out of the theater and
start streaming it.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
This could have been a st Remember, we can make
we need to make our money back.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yeah, somebody put a call in at this practice. Get
them back.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
You remember back in the day when they would do
straight to video. Yeah, they would have these movies that
were like anticipating and then all of a sudden it
would never be in the movies and there be straight
to video.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Well remember how long you have to wait to go
from the fires video? Yeah, anymore, depending on how well
it was doing.
Speaker 10 (20:19):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Emmy nominations are coming out this morning. I'm thinking the
Bear will do well again. I'm thinking the White Lotus
will do well. The pit that's a big one. The
Pit is in there too. Eleven thirty this morning, we'll
get the Emmy nominations. And finally Sabrina Carpenter on stage
and she brings out Duran, Duran.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
That was my bad.
Speaker 7 (20:39):
Sorry, that's okay.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Lists that bring back memories for you.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Well, I was a big Durendurin fan, and that was
Simon Lavond and John Taylor on stage.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
They look great by the way. I thought they sounded
good too.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
But yeah, I had the opportunity about the same time
I interviewed Chris Martin to interview Simon Lebughn.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
It was quite a year for you.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
I looked him up.
Speaker 7 (21:09):
He's like sixty seven.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
Yeah, so they look good for their they do. Yeah,
but it didn't.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Yeah, that didn't go well because he was he was
We had to interview him at a club and he
was so drunk that I was about to start the
interview and he projectile in all over my shirt.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
I'm not I'm not joking.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
It really is that that time, that era really was
such a time, right, we have both ends of the spectrum.
You had Chris Martin, it was like a therapy session interviews.
He's the best interview at the Four Seasons, and then
Simon puke on you.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
Yeah, it was just such a weird time and I
didn't know what.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
I didn't want to embarrass him as an artist, so
I just sort of took a napkin off the bar
and just started dabbing my shirt. And I said to
our music director at the time, I was like, I
guess we're not interviewing him. He's not in any position too,
And then we all just left.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Heird, this is least of the fashion clothed mean everything
to her, and this guy just projectiles.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Did you save the shirt or the sweatings?
Speaker 5 (22:07):
That's the guy.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
I'm on the von from Duran Duran, No, I think
I who knows what happened to this?
Speaker 5 (22:13):
Does it make it worse or better than that that
it was him and not some random person?
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (22:16):
I think it's again.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
It's it's a cool story because I don't think it's
ever happened to anyone.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Else, right, well, who knows. He may have a history
of it.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
You never know.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Anyway.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Hey, we're brought to you by Ocean Edge Resort and
Golf Club, who says you can have it all at

Speaker 11 (22:56):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one of the studios with
a Billy and Lisa in the morning on Chi.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
So every morning, bright and early. As a team, we.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Generally get together. We discussed the show, what we'd like
to talk about not talk about Winnie hands in this
sheet that used to be called the prep sheet, and
now we affectionately call it in Winnie's World. That's actually
your Instagram's my instagram.
Speaker 5 (23:24):
If you'd like to give me a follow.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Up free plug right there. Yeah, so now I've got
one from in Winnie's World. And here's the situation. A
mom and dad woke up to find their five year
old squandered three thousand dollars in an online shopping spree.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
It must have been one of the one click situations
where the credit card was already loaded in.
Speaker 13 (23:46):
Well.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
I remember Dylan, my youngest boy, when he was very young,
was very into the NBA jerseys, which went for like
two hundred and fifty dollars a pop. And somehow he
had access to our account and he ordered like two
jerseys a month without us even knowing it.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
And I'm like, what's going on here? And justin you
ran into it with Abel once, right, Yeah, he got
me for over one thousand dollars because my credit card
was on Fortnite, which is a game plays Yeah, so
he was buying v bucks that's like the currency that's
in the game. And I do have an update on
that story. Oh good. As of last week, it looks
like I'm going to get all or part of my
(24:25):
money back, Oh my god, because a class action lawsuit
was filed by parents whose kids, yeah, made purchases using
their cards Epic games. You can go on and I
did this and went on and and you know, and
put how much money was taken. And it looks like
I get some of it back.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
That's amazing because I remember a couple of months ago
they said absolutely.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Not yeah, because it was purchased. There was no like
proof that it was not him or me or whatever.
But it looks like they gotta yeah.
Speaker 16 (24:52):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
So think about how much money, millions of dollars was
spent by these kids, who whose parents had no idea yeah,
at least the right. Yes.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Riley is a chronic little shopper and he does the
Amazon one click and I'm telling you, every day there's
another package that shows up and it's not for me.
It's for him, whether it's a pair of sweatpants or
a sweatshirt or like hair gel.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
But who's whose card is it yours?
Speaker 3 (25:16):
It's yeah, I mean it's like it's like the family
you know, credit card at which I have since deleted
because it got so aggressive. I was just like, we
need more like sweatshirts, more T shirts, we need more socks.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Like he just kept He just buys stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
I will say. Riley Dunovan is always very well dressed.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
He really is. Yeah, he reminds me dressed, reminds me
of you.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Bill.
Speaker 5 (25:40):
It's easy at shop when it's not your money exactly.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
So that's been put to a shop, that's been put
to a stop.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
You got to be careful with the kids. I mean
my son, he didn't know you know what he was
really Yeah, he's young, Yeah, yeah, he was just they
made it so easy where you could just click a
button and you could buy a thousand V bucks.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
Yeah wow.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
He was doing it over and over for a month
until I luckily I caught it. So I gotta tell
you Abel, it's a little rascal. Yeah. Well I told
him this one's free. But if you do it again,
now that you know, you know why I took my
card off there.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
Yeah, you have to take your card off as well.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
You could finish that thought.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
You said, if you do it again, what are you
going to do?
Speaker 7 (26:19):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (26:20):
I'm so scared?
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Well, taking things away you take all of his stuff
away and then give it back in five minutes.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
At a certain point, because with Riley, at a certain point,
they're like, yeah, I don't care about the iPad, take
it away from me.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
I don't care about this, take it away from it.
They get like, really crazy, you.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Got to find what really hurts the moment.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
No, that's the thing. But then it like they challenge
you on it.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
My best moment is a dad. And I've told you
this story before. My oldest Chris. I got him this
really cool pickup truck right when he was going to college,
and he was trashing the truck like, I'm like, now
you understand, you really have to take care of it.
This could become a collector's item someday. Right, I took
the pickup away, made him ride to the dealership with me.
(27:06):
As I turned it in and made him take all
of his stuff out of it. I said, no, this
is no joke. This is not like we're coming back
to get the truck tomorrow. Never got the truck back.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Billy also canceled Christmas.
Speaker 5 (27:18):
Oh yeah, wipe it out, Yeah, like it never happened.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Onto the next holiday, Eastern I remember that story and.
Speaker 12 (27:32):
You'll appreciate this one.
Speaker 15 (27:33):
My little nephew.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
Managed to go into a sneaker website and order himself
two hundred and fifty six dollars Lakers colors Jordan's. He
went to my sister in law. He was six at
the time.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
Well, I think dad must have gotten me a gift.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:49):
Nice.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Try.
Speaker 5 (27:51):
Well he's a little witty too, like he even thought
to say that his dad bought it.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Yeah. And I know those Jordans. Those are nice sneak
Oh yeah, for sure, You've got quite a collection. Yeah. Well, yeah,
well that was a little incident that I had several
years ago.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
You were obsessed.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
I was obsessed with the sneakers. I spent ten thousand
dollars under a year on sneakers and I was in,
like credit card dead. Yeah, but to what end? I've
always been.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
Fascinated by the sneaker collector.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
No, I've always loved sneakers since I was a kid.
But growing up we had no money, so I couldn't
never afford Jordan's. My family couldn't afford them. So I
told myself one day, if I ever reached a point
in life where I can buy sneakers, I'm going to
buy sneakers.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Yeah, and so I was buying them a lot, at
least as the fashionist to the look. Now where you
wear a fine suit with a pair of sneakers, is
that going to stick around long?
Speaker 4 (28:40):
I mean, guys, yeah, I still see it around.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
I love it. Yeah, I think it's great. Yeah, although
a nice pair of beautiful pair of shoes with a
suit is great. But exactly nice pair of sneakers.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
You know, that's Bob Kraft's look, Robert Kraft, where's the
nikes he does?
Speaker 5 (28:55):
When you're worth eight billion or whatever? I guess you
can run every own.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Nobody's making fun of you if you got billions?
Speaker 4 (29:00):
Oh yeah, have you ever suit with sneakers?
Speaker 6 (29:04):
No?
Speaker 1 (29:04):
That's what I mean, because I'm always like am I?
Speaker 2 (29:07):
I wear a lovely pair of shoes.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
See even during your spikey hair oversized suit like the
mid two thousands, no sneakers were involved.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Not with will. Yeah, but I'm just saying it's gotta go. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Like the tiny pants thing where they come up to
the calf. When's that going away? You mean the ankle
tiny suit with the tiny pants they come up here.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
I like when they show a little ankle okay, well
this is turned into Bill's kiss One justin You've got
a lot of talk about leftovers.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Yeah, sometimes he will hit us up, you know. The
day after a show yesterday, we had that Big Vents
and Boone surprise. We surprised the dad and his son,
three year old son, big Bents and Boone fan. We
we brought them in. We had a beautiful surprise, some
tickets and more for them.
Speaker 12 (29:56):
Hey, guys, love your shows.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
Every morning I I have to listen really early though, so.
Speaker 12 (30:02):
I wasn't able to get an update on the three
year old who loves Benson Boone.
Speaker 8 (30:06):
Can you do a.
Speaker 12 (30:07):
Click update about what happened with SAP please?
Speaker 5 (30:10):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Well, they came in.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
The dad came in with his three year old son,
who was a Benson Boone fan, huge Benson Boone fan,
and we surprised him first of all with a giant
cardboard cutout of Benson Boone and we got them tickets
for the show, right Lise.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
We did an overnight stay a hotel, limo to the
hotel and dinner.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Yeah yeah, and that was and swag too, yes, swag
for the birthday party. So he's going to the show.
We don't know what's going to happen at the show.
That's out of our hands. Yeah, our part, but big
shout out to Ryan and Rott Ryder.
Speaker 5 (30:44):
She can hear that whole interview on our app. So
if you go to the Billion Said podcast and you
just searched it, it was yesterday's episode, so she can
hear it if you missed it yesterday.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
And by night Family came in. It's great, and the
videos on the Kiss Oneaway Instagram as well, so check
that out.
Speaker 17 (31:00):
So I was watching TV last night and an advertisement
for the Salem Waterfront Hotel came on and I was like,
who is this angelic voice that's not eating? This advertisement
sounded a lot like justin was that you brother? Sounded great?
I already booked my stay and it.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Was you That was me? Yeah, yeah, you might hear
that ad run you know when you're watching sporting events
or streaming. That is my voice for the Salem Waterfront Hotel.
It's my favorite place.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
In fact, I think the ad that you voiced was
on when the NC double as were airing.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Yep, it was on during I think NFL playoff time. Yeah,
it's running all the time. Why is the Salem Waterfront
Hotel better because it's where we perfected the art of
relaxation where you can rejuvenate. I mean, I wouldn't say
it's angelic, but it's interesting to use. Then we as
though you're an owner, don't feel that. Well, yeah, that's
a part of the family. Yea, yeah, well you know
(31:54):
what happened there? I replaced Billy. Yeah, no, it's actually
I did because there, well, there was a little incident.
Both of our commercials are running. Oh no, no no,
they pulled yours.
Speaker 9 (32:04):
Visit the award winning Salem Waterfront Hotel, and visit the
award winning Salem Waterfront Hotel and Marina and experience perfection
on the award winning sale.
Speaker 11 (32:23):
Kids is the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa
in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
All I lost the cover this morning. We covered a
lot of ground on the show. We spent a lot
of time talking about cold Play because they're at Jellette
tonight and Lisa is going to the show. Bucket list moment.
Speaker 18 (32:37):
If Lisa needs anyone to go to the concert tonight.
Speaker 5 (32:40):
I will go.
Speaker 18 (32:42):
I wanted to go to the opening night so bad,
and I'd love to meet Chris Martin. That would be
a dream, and just to sit in the floor tonight
would be a dream. But the tickets are silly, eight
hundred dollars. I'm going tomorrow night, but I want to
go tonight so bad, like I need to go to
this concert. I've been trying to win tickets and everything.
But maybe I'll buy tickets later tonight or get scammed.
Speaker 8 (33:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
We'll see, we'll see what happens.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
Way, but she's going tomorrow night. She's going tomorrow right,
so she wants both nights.
Speaker 5 (33:10):
She's a greedy I was thinking the same thing. Greedy, greedy.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Yeah, where his seats are well before?
Speaker 6 (33:18):
No?
Speaker 2 (33:19):
No, yeah, but anyway, Yeah, don't get scammed, by the way,
I always be careful about where you're sending your money to.
But speaking of getting scammed, also this morning, we talked
about a kid who spent five thousand dollars of his
dad's money and what was he buying bell the kid
who's buying h I think a little bit of everything. Yeah,
a little bit of shopping by we wanted. But yeah,
(33:40):
I'd be careful with the kids.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
My son spent five thousand dollars on Madden somehow or another.
Speaker 12 (33:48):
You could buy strength years ago.
Speaker 5 (33:52):
He's twenty three now and he's a wonderful kid.
Speaker 11 (33:55):
But back then that was not good.
Speaker 5 (33:59):
It's a lot of money.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Just don't put your card on file. That's what it is,
you know, because a lot of the kids, they don't
know any better. Yeah, they go, they want to buy something,
you know, they click a button and then boom they
buy it.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
I also think keeping your card on file if I
always feel like it's going to get hacked, could be right.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Yeah, it happen too.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
By the way, to answer your question, there were thirty
one different items this kid bought.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Okay, Little Shop and Spring Shop and Spring Also this morning,
we talked about Disney adults because there's a new app
for single Disney adults to meet up with each other
at the park.
Speaker 11 (34:31):
Good morning, morning crew, Midwest.
Speaker 16 (34:32):
Holly.
Speaker 11 (34:32):
Here, I have a friend back home who is a
hardcore Disney adult.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Like.
Speaker 11 (34:38):
She is intense, Like she even changed her last name
to Disney, and she goes all the time and she
dresses up. Her whole house is decorated in different.
Speaker 7 (34:48):
Things Disney like.
Speaker 11 (34:51):
It's it's insane.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Ohow freaking changed her name.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
That's really weird to Disney you.
Speaker 5 (34:59):
Know, annoying is change your name, especially you know women
do it way more than men because of you know,
getting married. But all in on that, Yeah, I guess.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
So you know I met one of the Disney's Disney adults. Yeah, no,
the actual Roy Disney, like a Walt Disney.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
A couple of times at Disney World when we used
to broadcast all the time. Let me ask you something.
Anyone's feel free to speak up. Anyone else in the
room or in the zip code that's met one of
the Disney family member.
Speaker 4 (35:28):
What was your takeaway?
Speaker 6 (35:29):
What?
Speaker 4 (35:29):
What's your biggest memory from meeting him? A very nice
guy with the animated.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Uh, no choice, the language. Did he dress up?
Speaker 14 (35:39):
No, he had.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
He had a gentlemanly suit on Roy Disney. I think
he's still alive.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
Well I'll look it up. Yeah, yeah, look it up.
Speaker 7 (35:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Also, this morning, there's a new dating technique in New York.
We talked about where basically women are going to these
places like food places and that people mobile order and
then they to get people salad.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
That's so crazy.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
So they get a free mail and then they look
up where the guy works and if he works like
in you know, Wall Street, they're hitting him up, so
it's stocking. It's basically stalking.
Speaker 12 (36:10):
I had an experienced a few summers ago where a
guy was waiting for me outside of CBS. Apparently he
saw me waiting in line at the pharmacy holding some
boxes of tampons with him like a hot mess. But
he thought I was attractive, asked for my number. I
don't know how to say no. We texted, I agreed
to meet up with him for a date and he
(36:32):
proceeded to show up late and forgot his wallet. So
need to say, won't do that again.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
You got to say no.
Speaker 4 (36:39):
Yeah, you just have to put your foot down.
Speaker 5 (36:42):
I have the update on roy Disney. Oh yeah, okay,
So roy O Disney, who is Walt's brother, Yes, died
in nineteen seventy one. His son roy E Disney, which
I'm assuming who you met in two thousand and nine.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
So no, he's not alive, but he was alive when
I met him. That's the important. But twice, I love that.
Speaker 7 (37:04):
You met.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
Bill, say it with me.
Speaker 10 (37:09):
I love Disney.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Have a great day, everybody. We'll see in them on
