Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, so welcome back and Happy Giving Tuesday. And
it is also National Mutt Day, to keep that in
mind as you just roll this. By the way, can
we talk about the storm for one second. It's not
even raining.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Yeah what storm? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Yeah, it's it's rain.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
And the local news reporters are still at the sandpiles
looking for snow or rain. It's not coming anyway. It's
a time for another ticket tag and I've got a
name to call, and this person has exactly fifteen minutes
to call us back. You'll get jingle Ball tickets, but
at least they'll qualify for the grand prize. What's that about?

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Okay, it's the ultimate VIP experience, which includes front row
tickets to sold on jingle Ball, which is incredible, a
backstage artist experience. Yes, you're going backstage, hotel, overnight stay
and passes to the pre concert party.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
This is amazing. This could be the biggest jingle Ball
prize we've ever given away.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah, it's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
And now the name at Amy E. Swan. At Amy E. Swan,
you have precisely fifteen minutes to call us back, and
good luck with that. Justin you got some talk backs
in there I do.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, Today's National Mutt Day. You know what that means.
Adopt a mutt. We love mutts. Billy has a mutt. Titus.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Hey, guys, Happy Tuesday and happy National Motday. We know
Lisa has Ruby and we know Billy has Titus.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
He's a good boy.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
So my question is that, with it being December and all,
if Titus were to say like poop on your rug
or maybe like chew on your favorite pair of boat shoes,
do you cancel Christmas for him too?

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Boys, a diehard listener.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Right, there is this something that Titus could eat of
yours where you would cancel Christmas like you canceled it
for your your children when they were young.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Well, they lost the walkie talkies. Okay, we were headed
to a field trip. But okay, no, no, there's nothing
Titus could do to make angry.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
He's a good boy.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
He's set your good boy.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Yeah, okay, so Titus is off limits when it comes
to Christmas being canceled, Lisa.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
It's Carrie.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
So I heard that Emily in Paris was at the
book club and scoped up your fabulous jumpsuit and wanted
to put it in the show.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Congratulations you are ahead of the game. You fashion needs
to clean you.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I loved that.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
So she streamed your book club out bets saw.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Your outfit and then they put it in the show.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
You're inspiring, Hollywood.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
You still have that jumpsuit? I do, well, you got
to bust that thing out. I'm going to Yeah, jingle
Ball is right around the corner. Good time to bust
that thing out.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
I was a phote to Lisa's outfit and jingle Ball
because the jingle Ball day, I go out and buy
my outfit like an hour before, and Lisa spends like
three weeks planning for it.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Oh yeah, well.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
We all do not be a big thing. No, you
buy your outfit the day.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Of, literally probably on the way to jingle Ball.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Is this like a tradition now?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Oh wow, I like that.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, I just go on a whim finds thing.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
But this looking forward every year to Lisa's ouf is
getting a little creepy. No mean, you're talking about a
woman you bought underwear four lists. Okay, we don't have
to bring that up. They were skims underwear exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
By the way, I was scrolling yesterday and I saw
an head for the Rihanna's Savage fenty panties that are
just dropped. Let me yeah, laugh, I'm not going to
buy them for what are you doing? Showed up?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
You're spending way too much time in the ice bas.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
I'm just saying they showed up on my feet. I
don't know. It's probably because we were talking about panties
for some reason. Okay, so they showed up. All right,
I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna do not
at all.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
Good Morning Morning crew, checking in from Switzerland. My husband
and I are on our tenure anniversary and we're going
to a bunch of countries.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Switzerland up first. We'll check in when we get to
the next one. Have a great day.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Listen to us in Switzerland.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Oh, that's cool. She's gonna go to different kinds and
then check in on the talkback.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
That's cool and we encourage that. Yeah, international listeners, we love.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Them, yeah very much.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
So.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
So if you watch the Today Show or Good Morning America,
they all have the segment called Deals of the Day.
Like Good Morning americaly says that woman with no neck.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I've never seen her, but it.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Gives you the Deals of the day. So doctor Ruth
to Daldy is in studio with us. She is the
dermatologist to the stars, and we figured, hey, it's the
holiday season, let's talk about deals at the cosmetics counter
or at your place or not.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
No, how about CBS, right, how about Walgreens?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
How about others?

Speaker 8 (04:41):
Don't think there? Hold on a second, please, Yeah, we
get feedback going on. Is that Is that better? Okay,
you're good. It's not you, it's me.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
So it's it's stuff you can get at CBS, your
local pharmacy. That would be great stocking stuffers.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Right, Well, maybe you can take the headphones off, yeah,
and just throw them on the floor. Yeah, okay, there,
we don't smash them like Billy think that I would
have kicked them across the room.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
But just okay, is that better?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I hope?

Speaker 3 (05:16):
So?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
Everybody, especially even in November December, is still concerned with
the pigment on his or her face from the summertime,
and it takes ages to get rid of it. There's
an amazing product by Userine called Radiant.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Tone Radiant Tone in Tone.

Speaker 7 (05:35):
It's their dual serum and it is it has a product,
a special product in it called an ingredient called thyamidl
which really works. So for those people who have little
dark spots, little age spots, little liver spots. It's a wonderful,
wonderful treat.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
And Userin is like I know, it is just a
body cream, right, it's it's less than thirty dollars.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
It's a wonderful wonderful product called Userin Userin Radiant Tone
Dual and you can get that at your local forget
at your local pharmacy. The other thing that I think
is great for anyone who wants to start with retinals,
with retinoids at Lisa. You know that I am a
huge fan that that's probably the most important thing that
you use other than sunscreen.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Coffee.

Speaker 7 (06:24):
So obviously in my office we have very advanced ones
and they're very expensive. What you can do other than
getting a prescription from your dermatologist, but you may not
have a dermatologist, is use a product called Rock R
Big C. I'm a big fan of Rock is great
And for the slightly older patient, Rock makes a hydration

(06:46):
cream that is spectacular. It's in a jar rather than
a tube.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Oc okay, and this is a moisturizer.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
It's a retinal containing moisturizer. Oh yeah, again, don't go
every night. Start slowly because it doesn't dry your skin.
That's an old wives tale. It just increases the cell turnover,
so the cell moves up from the basel layer to
the superficial layer more quickly, causing some peeling, which is great.
Makes your skin more luminous, it makes the light reflex

(07:17):
more beautiful, it makes you look younger.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
How much is that product?

Speaker 7 (07:19):
That product is thirty about thirty five dollars?

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Oh? Perfect.

Speaker 7 (07:22):
It's a great product.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
And this is what we love about your doctor, Ruth
Dermatologist to the Stars. By the way, is that you've
got a place right what's the name of your clinic word.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
Well Dermatology Partners in Wellesley. Yes, we have regimen pro
and regimen Pro. If you want to log onto regiment
pro dot com, you can put me in as your
doctor provider and you can really shop the more expensive line.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
But that's not exactly. And that's why we love you.
You are so successful at your place that you're telling
people to go to cvs and just get the cheap
stuff of thing.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
You have to start.

Speaker 7 (07:57):
You have to start, and if you're using something, it's
better than thing.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
And isn't it about consistency.

Speaker 7 (08:02):
One hundred percent? Yeah, one hundred percent and all of
these products. I know that I'm an old, old old
dog doing an old record, But if you're not using sunscreen,
none of these things make a difference. Please wear your sunscreen.
But I'm going to give you some so the so
the Max Daily Hydration cream by Rock is for the
slightly older or drier patient, but the Correction Own Deep

(08:25):
wrinkle serum would be something for a slightly younger patients.
All at CBS. Now, let's get into something just a
little bit more fun for like the teenager, because you
know that's for us, that's all you see, that's their market.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Yep.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
Well, the things that I think are great are some
Bubble is a company that was started by a young
woman and I actually had the chance to meet her
at Sciences Skincare, which is a great meeting that we
all go to. And Bubble has all these beautifully packaged, adorable,
little brightly colored, slammed, dunk moisturized. Yeah, great names, really

(09:02):
cute under thirty bucks and you can get those and
you think it's a good product, great product, and that
the product's name is Bubble bubble and they're clean products,
which everybody wants. So they're wonderfully you know, natural organic
that doesn't mean quite as much to me. Organic to
me means that it has carbon in it, not that
it's you know, sourced from plants necessarily, but it's a

(09:24):
great product. The other thing for a teenager or a
young person is BioMA b yo am BioMA creamy jelly cleanser.
So it just has a wonderful, wonderful jelly like surfactant,
so it actually does remove grime and grease and makeup
and it feels good. And it's also packaging.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
But this fascinates me. You've got an incredibly successful dermatological
business and you're sending people to CVEs. This is what
we love about you.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
But that's but that's what we should be doing, especially
this time of year. You're looking for things to buy
your kids put in the stocking. Now buy some bubble products.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Well, you want to know something about my wife, Michelle,
and I love her dearly, but she buys me all
these expensive creams, you know, because she yells at me
for not doing enough, but she doesn't realize that I
keep stacking them up in my van.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
You're not using them, and I'm.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Using the things I steal from the hotel room.

Speaker 7 (10:20):
Like you know, well you should put some of the
user and dual serum on them. Little dark spot on
your left.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Ah, So that's I was going to show you the
dark spot because I could be well, anyway, what's the
thing for the dark spot? I want?

Speaker 3 (10:33):
That's the duel.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
That's the serum retina.

Speaker 7 (10:36):
Okay, now the retinal too at night, but the US
and dual serum that you'd put on more.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (10:41):
Now let's talk about young children and just wonderful cleansers. Lisa,
do you use in my cellar water yet? I don't, Okay,
So let's talk about my cellar waters because that they're
like ten dollars okay, and they're wonderful, wonderful product. My
cellar waters Garnier actually, which is at CVS, yes, has wonderful, wonderful,

(11:01):
full skin active waters. And so they're very mild, especially
for someone who's using a retinoid at night.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
What do you mean water?

Speaker 7 (11:09):
They're waters that actually clean the skin, and.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
So you don't drink them.

Speaker 7 (11:14):
You don't.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
So it's not like a cleansing soap. It's a cleansing water. Interesting.
I've never heard of that. Great product from the planet.

Speaker 9 (11:23):
Fitness Kiss one awaits studios. We're back with Villy and
Lisa in the morning, so justin.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
We did a ticket tag a few minutes ago and
there was some controversy with the phone call.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Right yeah, So I pick up the phone and we
were looking for Amy E. Swan on Instagram for the
ticket tag. So I had Amy on the phone and
then I said, okay, I'll put you on hold, and
then the other line rang and I picked that up
and it was someone that said, Hi, this is Amy
E Swan from Instagram, and it was a different girl,
no way, and I'm like wait, and I asked her
all the questions, did you yes, yes, yes, this is

(11:55):
my name, and I go hold on a second. So
then I go back to the first Amy and I go, Amy,
we have a problem. We have two Amy Swans. And
then they explained the other one was her twin sister, Alisha.
They were both calling for Amy. They wanted to make
sure they got through, so I had Amy and Alisha,
so shout out to both of them. Amy's all set.
She got the sold out jingle Ball tickets and qualifies
for that VIP Grand Prize and.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
It's a huge prize. But I'm glad we cleared all
that up. Now let's go Billy Lisa.

Speaker 9 (12:22):
Now the entertainment update with a Billy Cobs up one away.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
So the Patriots beat the Giants in Foxborough last night,
thirty three fifteen was the final. They actually led by
twenty three at the half. They never looked back. Ten
wins in a row, eleven and two on the season.
Now heading into a bye week, here's Drake May.

Speaker 10 (12:40):
Yeah, the biek's huge. It felt like a long time coming,
but you know we're here and we had some important
football after the bye week. So we're looking forward to
You'll stay in and getting healthy and having guys you'll
want to get better, and I'm looking forward to you'll
get some guys back and then make a uh, you'll
make a push win football. So she gonna starts to
count down the road.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Yeah, how about this the Pats next game December fourteenth,
that's jingle Ball Sunday the Bills in Foxborough. Definitely a
high point last night. Marcus Jones a ninety four yard
punt return for touchdown.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Gillan hits it and the return by Marcus Jones, he
can fly.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Still going, still going, flags touchdown Patriots. They've got serious
speed this year, Marcus Jones and Henderson. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
But also like those passes are pretty accurate. It is
like on fire.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
He's like a sniper. Yeah, unbelievabless.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
They were just in in absolute kill mode yes night.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
I mean yes, they were not letting anything chance.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Yeah. And then there's Dave Portnoy paying tribute to Drake
May's wife and with a cooking video.

Speaker 11 (13:53):
Hey, everybody hate Pats fans.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Happy game Day.

Speaker 11 (13:56):
Happy Monday Night Football. Happy December first in case you
have a notice, And Michael May declared December bakedness. She's
making a new meal, new baking item every single day
till Christmas. I figured for day one, for Monday Night football,
we'd fall along.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Today we are doing eminem cookies.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Okay, I love this. He dressed up like and and
I found her like a week ago. She was making
banana bread in her in her kitchen. So I just
love that Dave did this because she's so cute, so cute,
but he's right, she's declared it Mary Bakeness. So every
day we're supposed to make something unique. So she did
Eminem cookies and they looked really good.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
And let's face it, if you're starting with M and ms,
you can't possibly go wrong.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
I know it's the perfect food.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
You know what I do? Sometimes I get two Eminem
cookies and I put ice cream in between them. Can
make my own sandwich.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Oh yeah, boy, they sell those, But to be able
to do it at home is even better.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Because I can make it nice and big. Thank you,
You're welcome. Come on, Bill, carry it?

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Okay? How about lady guy guys? She says. The first
concert she ever attended was jingle Ball.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
The first concert I attended, I think was jingle Ball.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Who played jingle Ball?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Do you remember?

Speaker 5 (15:18):
I remember the Googoo dolls played and they.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Had snow on stage.

Speaker 5 (15:23):
They had snow, and I was losing my mind that
there was. It was my first experience with like production
in an arena. Was crying, crying. My mother was like,
what's wrong with you? Crying?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
And she ended up performing at our jingle Ball.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
She did with.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Concept.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
I will never forget that day. Yeah, walking around the
backstage area with her dancers, and she was wearing like underwear.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
It's the same outfit. There's a video online of her
performing like for the first time in a park for
like ten people, and she's out there with that same
skimpy outfit.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Now look at her, she's confident. Yeah. Speaking of jingle
Ball coming up December Fourteenth's still time to grab some
of the jingle Ball merch, right, Lisa.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
It's the iHeartRadio jingle Ball collab with jcpenny. Just go
to jcpenny dot com. They've got sparkly shorts, they've got
faux leather skirts. They've got fun holiday sweater so you
can wear it to jingle Ball, but you can also
wear it for all of your holiday parties jcpenny after.
My favorite item are the sequin little shorts. They're black.
They're so cute and off for you.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Billly doesn't sound unless I'm up to something weird. For
the ladies. The Ladies the Ditty documentary drops on Netflix today,
produced by fifty cent. We've got a clip from the trailer.

Speaker 12 (16:47):
We have to find somebody that to work with us,
that has dealt in the dirtiest of dirty business.

Speaker 13 (16:54):
Puffy Puff, Daddy Diddy show coals.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
All of these weat.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Incarnations, all of those.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Name changes are attached to really bad deeds.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Everything in life. You're going to have people that are
bad and people that are good. You have to choose
yourself fifty on GMA yesterday, explaining why it was so
important to do this documentary.

Speaker 14 (17:24):
If I didn't say anything, you would have you would
interpret it as hip hop is fine with his behaviors.
There's no one else being vocal, so you would look
at it and just say, because that mind your business,
or let me not say nothing about nothing or those
things that it would allow it entai culture to register

(17:46):
as if they're for that behavior.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Again, that's on Netflix today. Meantime, rumor has it now
that Amy Schumer lost all the weight she wants to
lose her husband. I'm not making this up. She shut
off the new Look with some glam photos supposed to
on the Instagram, and a lot of fans were noticing
not just the weight loss, but the fact that she
was not wearing a wedding ring.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
That could have been our topic today. God, so she
lost all the weight and then dumped her husband.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Isn't he from around here, like from the vineyard.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
I think you're right. He was a chef on the vineyard.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Yeah, the poor guy was with her. You know when
she had some weight issues, you know, remember she kind
of gained some weight and now she lost it. She
looks fantastic, and she dumped them.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Chris Fisher is his name?

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Fishing?

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Well, poor Chris.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
And apparently they were looking to sell their Brooklyn and
their New Orleans homes and they're privately working through some issues.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Listen, my wife was with me when I was like
three point fifty. You never said anything. I lost the weight.
Still with her?

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Yep, yeah, loyal.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Amy Schumer, not loyal.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
You lost a lot of weight, dude.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
The first trailer from Taylor's Riffs concert film is We've
got a clip of that right now.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
I'm gonna thank you, every single one of you.

Speaker 15 (19:19):
For being a part of the most thrilling chapter of
my entire life to date.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Producer Riley, do you feel like she's thanking you personally?

Speaker 13 (19:27):
I was at the erastour, so I mean I helped
her buy her master's back.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
I'm part of this documentary, you know, and.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
She's acknowledging you call me crazy. I really want to
see this film.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Well, Producer Riley is in a parasocial relationship with Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Oh that's right. Serious Parasocial super Fan. This concert film
comes out December twelfth, that'll be on Disney Plus. And
Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things talks about changing her
name to Millie Bobby bon Jovie, Millie Bonnie bon Jovi Brown,
No Brown, just drop the Brown, drop the Bobby, drop
the Brown.

Speaker 8 (20:03):
It's just Millie Bonnie bon Jovi.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Oh, Mellie Bonnie buncho.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
That's beautiful, Millie bum bumb mvbbbbb. Justin there's an Easter
egg everybody should be looking for. And Stranger Things in
the new season the first four.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Episode, I think it was in the first episode, there
was a missing person's poster of Millie Bobby Brown Jane
and there's a phone number on there. If you call
it you will get a recording from the Hawkins PD.
Pretty cool. So if you rewatch it, you can call
the number, you can hear it.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
And Lisa, you've got some information on Emily in Paris. Well.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Netflix dropped another trailer December eighteenth. If you've been waiting
season five, and it's going to be the Tale of
two Cities. Emily will be in both Paris and Rome.
And in the trailer there was an outfit that I
wore to the jod Peacock book Club. It's the scene,
exact outfit.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
So what you're saying is she it's like, wait a second,
this is so cool. She watched the stream from the
book club. So what you were wearing and out and
got it again?

Speaker 3 (21:01):
I don't think so. But all I'm saying is that
you know that was really cool.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
That's why we call you Lisa the Fashionista, because everybody's
paying attention to what you're wearing. Anyway, We're brought to
you by Wilson Farm in Lexington, a holiday ready gorgeous
fresh cut trees and by the way, a huge selection
of greenery, their own stunning points set as plus whimsical
ornaments and one of the kind gifts. Go to Wilson

(21:26):
Farm in Lexington. It's really a cool place to hang
out for a while. Or go online Wilsonfarm dot com
and Happy Holidays from Wilson Farm and there you go.

Speaker 16 (21:36):
Hi, this is Audrey E's Swan. I'm calling for my
sister Amy and my other sister. We're actually triplets, and
I'm wondering if we can get three tickets to Tingle.

Speaker 9 (21:50):
Paul from the Planet Fitness Kiss one of eight studios.
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
And we have the astro in studio where with us
Keith Lockhart, the Boston Pops. Let's give him some rightful
intro music. Put us in the moods the holiday pops.

Speaker 13 (22:13):
I can't see this, but I'm doing the Russian dance
on the planet fit this studio of Kiss went away.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
That would actually be a great workout for you, justin
when you're doing your squats, the Russian thing where you
go down you're kicking your right out. Oh yeah, that'd
be a good work.

Speaker 13 (22:30):
I don't think I can do more than one of
those anymore.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Keith, always a pleasure to see you.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Welcome back everybody.

Speaker 13 (22:37):
Happy holidays.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Now the holiday season with the Pops? Has it already
kicked off? Is it about to kick off?

Speaker 6 (22:43):
Hell?

Speaker 13 (22:43):
We have kicked off preparations. We have rehearsals yesterday, we
have more rehearsals today and our first our public breakout
is on Thursday. We start with a special preview event
for our service people and from the United States Armed
Forces and their families. Put together with the generous support

(23:07):
of the Highland Street Foundation and Connecting about two thousand
veterans and active service people and their families with the
Pops tomorrow night, and then we open to the general
public on Thursday night, and then from there.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
It's sore and running.

Speaker 13 (23:24):
It's about fifty concerts all told, between then and New
Year's Eve.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Fifty yeah, between this week and New Year's Eve.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Yes, sometimes there are free shows a day.

Speaker 13 (23:34):
Sometimes there are, and often there are two shows a day,
and rarely are there no shows a day. And Symphony
Hall for the Wonderful Holiday Pops, our special Kids, Madines continue.
We're out on the road in Providence, in Worcester, Manchester,
Lowell and after the holidays, after you've recovered. On the

(23:57):
twenty sixth, will be doing the modern Christmas classic Elf
the movie.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Really you're doing el.

Speaker 13 (24:05):
Screen with John Debney's wonderful score played live by the
Boston Pops. That's on the twenty seventh and twenty eighth,
and then we'll be doing Charlie Brown Christmas Live on
Stage on the thirtieth, and Seth MacFarlane will ring in
the New Year for us.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Seth McFarland is doing New Year's Eve the podcast.

Speaker 13 (24:24):
It's not the first time actually, really he's great. I
don't you know, but he's definitely. He has a great
Sinatra esque kind of voice, cool and a lot of
access to those great charts. So it's a real kind
of a it's a you know, rat pack.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
There you go, New Year's ego. I noticed you left
off a huge event that's happening with the Boston Pops
this year, and that's our joining the well.

Speaker 13 (24:50):
I was trying to keep that a system.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Let's set fully launching this.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
So every show, I think it's every show during the
holiday season, you do, you'll have a special guest doing
Twas the Night Before much every show.

Speaker 13 (25:05):
Yes, Clement Clark Morris classic poem read live with the
Boston Pops accompanying you. No pressure.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Now when the celebrity comes up on stage with the
Boston Pops behind them, is there a certain song that
goes along with the reading?

Speaker 13 (25:21):
Usually it's just the yes of course when they start reading. Yes,
we play a musical version of Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Thank you for sharing that, because for Lisa, I do
have the Twust the Night script and I was hoping
that we can do a dry run and justin you've
got the accompanying.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
Music Lisa, you ready to go.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
I just speak and you should listen, Okay, I don't
if the music is going to match up exactly.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Okay, we'll do our best.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
Twas the night before Christmas went all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The
stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes
that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Keith, you want to conduct her.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
The children were nestled, all snug in their beds, while
visions of sugar plums danced in their heads. And Mama
in her kerchief, Bill and I in my cot just settled.

Speaker 13 (26:14):
Down a moment here, moment here, you really have to
be an I in my kerchief, Papa in this cap,
because well, otherwise there's going to be a whole different
sort of poem.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Oh, you're right, restrike the band and I in my
kerchief and Papa in his cap had just settled down
from the winter. Went out on the lawn. There were rows,
such a clutter?

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Can I hear the excise?

Speaker 3 (26:37):
I sprang from the bed, Keith, and to see what
was the matter?

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Wait to the.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
Window, tore open those shutters and threw up the sash.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Shall I continue?

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Yes, Yes, I think I'm looking forward to this.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
A rousing round of applause from the audience gathered.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
You can join us on December seventeenth, three o'clock.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Show, Symphony Hall, Matinee.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
Yes, and I would love everyone in Billy and Lisa
Nation to buy their tickets. Go to b b s
o dot org.

Speaker 13 (27:18):
Boston Pops dot org. Easier to remember.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
Joining the fun.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
And you can can't even imagine what you're going to
wear for the Pops least.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Oh yeah, you have to get some sort of beautiful
holiday gown.

Speaker 13 (27:29):
Yes, you're going to be stunnying. That was a great read.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Thank you could have sloaded down, but I'm just saying
I'm s want to You want to people.

Speaker 13 (27:39):
You guys in the media, everybody reads on the fest
side because you're used to getting a lot of copy
and in a short period of time, because your producers
and they're going like.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, he's he's the one you know
who won't do it. I know you.

Speaker 13 (27:56):
Guys like surprising me. So I thought i'd ask on
the air, Billy, why won't.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
He will not do I went through all the dates
and it's just I'm locking, but I have to ask
you before we go. Okay, has anyone you know, any
one of the celebrities who have done it? And I'm
sure there have been plenty, has anyone really screwed it up?

Speaker 13 (28:13):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Who was it?

Speaker 1 (28:15):
And what did they do? Just screw it up? Because
I want to make sure.

Speaker 13 (28:18):
Well, I'm trying to think back through the biggest the
the outtake reels from from the moment, and I need
to pick somebody who's not still living.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Oh okay, that's otherwise.

Speaker 13 (28:30):
We would embarrass them and I might it soon. So
you know, I would think Dom de.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Luise, oh, big Dom de Luais.

Speaker 13 (28:40):
By telling a viagra joke before reading.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Do Louise? Wow?

Speaker 13 (28:46):
I don't know as a screw up, but I would
say offhand, yep. Some people just can't help themselves.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
All right.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
One quick tip you can give Lisa as she prepares
for her performance with the Pops.

Speaker 13 (28:57):
Yes, forget about the eighty five highly skilled professional musicians
sitting on stage behind you and the two thousand eager
people ready to tweet about your performance. Okay, in the house,
just pretend you're reading it. Remember when your son was eight.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
To him, yea bedtime story Passion.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Okay, show the Passion Keith. Always a pressure, buddy, Boston,
because I'm telling you there are so many shows coming up.
You've got to get to see the molls.

Speaker 9 (29:28):
I love Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 16 (29:30):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Let's get some talkback leftover his brother.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Yeah, listen. The talkbacks are wide open all time of day.
You can leave a talkback on the iHeart app. You
just clicked that little microphone button. You download the iHeart app.
It's free, and you listen to us on kiss and
you tap the microphone button and that's it. We accept

Speaker 17 (29:48):
Hey, guys, it's my first talkbacks there me, but I
probably you're youngest talkback here. So you guys are so awesome.
I love you guys so much. And yeah, this is
so cool. I'm sorry to do this more often.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Yeah, all ages, you can leave it to back perfectly done.
There's no age restriction there. But yes, thank you to
her for listening.

Speaker 6 (30:06):
Hey, Justin, I'm heading up to Salem, New Hampshire this
weekend for a girls' night with my daughters. Any fun advice,
anythings we shouldn't miss. We're really excited hoping there's a
little snow up there, have a great day.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Oh that's great. Tuscan Village I was gonna say, Tuscan
Village has everything. I mean, you can go, you can
get dinner. There's so many great restaurants. You go to
Tuscan Kitchen, Capitol Grill, you can go to Tits you
know any what what? Oh? Sorry, you just do old
tavern in the square. It's called for sure what you

(30:41):
call it?

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Okay, for the sake of those that don't know, that's
the nickname you sir.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Riley was just there this weekend and she didn't she
was out with her friends. We're joking back and forth
about it.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
You say I'm going, I'm going for a minute.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
I was gonna go up to say come on down.
But yeah, Tuscan great. And they have the little outside
area there. They have a bar outside so depending on
how cold it is, the roof deck. Although I go
to the roof deck, it's indoors at the roof deck. Yeah,
so enjoy. That's stall in New Hampshire. Or you can
come buy my house. My doors are always over everybody
else does.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
That's right, Time morning.

Speaker 18 (31:14):
Crew, longtime listener, first time talkbacker. I won your universal
contest in April and just recently went on that trip.
I just wanted to report everything was amazing. It be
was a family favorite, literally bringing my daughter and maybe
me to tears of pure happiness. Harry Potter, World Measure, Magic,

(31:35):
Nintendo Land. Oh, it's going to go down as one
of our absolutely favorite family trips of all time.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
See that's so cool. We don't think about that. I
mean changing lives. I mean they'll talk about that forever,
that trip.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Yeah, we did that earlier this year, and then twenty
twenty six is coming up. Uh huh, there'd be more trips.
I don't I'm just saying that's all. That's all I'll
reveal at this time. But yeah, we love that. Anything
that we giveaway, especially these big prizes, even little prizes,
you can always let us know how it went. You know,
this is a two way relationship. You know we give
them away, we want to hear back when you you

(32:08):
know about the experience.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Well, this ticket tag thing we're doing for jicken Ball
is going to be life changing if you win that.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Oh that grand prize is unbelievable. Hotels, stay front row, backstage, crazy.

Speaker 12 (32:20):
Good morning guys, it is Carlos do you know that
you guys always talking about Aaron Rodgers and Bingnie Spears,
how they always act a little bit different than everybody else.
Guess what, they shared the same birthday, So there you go.
They got one didn't come as their birthday today, So
maybe that's why both of them are almost the same way.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
Yeah. Yeah, Brittany's back on Instagram today, right, you got
back on yesterday.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
I think there was a troubling post yesterday, not really
about being in the dark or I mean, all our
posts are troubling, the poor thing. And Aaron Rodgers, he's
always looking at the end. You see his face on
the sideline this weekend he got he got smashed in
the nose. His hand is all messed up. You got
smash in the nose. And there's a picture of him
he had all bandage and bloodied on his face and

(33:06):
someone posted he looks like one of the robbers on
Home Alone.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Yeah, I think be the end skip this season.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
I think so kids one away.

Speaker 9 (33:19):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
All right, wrapping things up on this rainstorm, snowstorm.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Not a drop there is snow, not a flake.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
North and west you'll see some snow.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Yeah, I think towns in it is snowing. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
To two words for your bone dry.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
No, don't, don't listen to Bill.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
It looks like it looks like it's coming.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
It's very great. It's very dry. Yeah, we're going to
have precipitation.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
It's gonna be a good day, especially for listener Amy
Amy E. Swan, she was one of our ticket tag
winners and it was a whole thing with her because
I got a call from to Amy Swans. One of
them was lying, but apparently was their sister, Elisha, her
twin sister, who was calling for her to make sure
she got through.

Speaker 9 (34:03):
Hey, good morning, kiss went to wait, this is Amy
from Instagram.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
You chose me this morning to win your jingle Ball tickets.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
I couldn't be more excited.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
I've been trying for weeks and weeks and weeks with
my ten year old daughter to win, so I'm so
excited to bring her.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
I'm so sorry we didn't get.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
To speak on the phone this morning.

Speaker 4 (34:19):
As it kept dropping my calls and I told my
identical twin sister to try and call, and.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Ironically we both got through at the same time. How funny.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
Thank you so so so much, and have a great day.

Speaker 17 (34:31):
Can't wait to see you.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Yeah. Amy and Riley were yelling at each other. The
phone kept dropping off and kept calling back there hanging
up on me. No, you're hanging up on me.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Well you should have saw my reaction because I said, oh,
this is Amy Swan, Yes, all right, put her on hold.
Next call hello, Yeah, this is Amy Swan from Instagram.
It was crazy, But anyway, we'll call another name at
twelve ten, Trevor, who's in from a cabe and you'll
have fifteen minutes to call us back. So go to
the kiss Instagram. You can enter on the pin post,
follow the directions and you listen and win. It's two stop,

(35:00):
two step process. You enter and then you listen for
your name, and that's how it works. All right, Let's
go back to earlier in the show. We had Penny
commit on WBZ in the courtroom for the Brian Walsh trial,
and one of the things she pointed out is that
we may see Brian Walsh testify in this case, which
would be very surprising the defense.

Speaker 19 (35:19):
Instead, specifically, you will hear that Brian Walsh went upstairs
suddenly found his wife decease. They're saying, you will hear.
Does that mean we're going to hear from Brian Walsh.
He's the only one that was there and meaning he's
the only one that could give us that evidence. So
that's gonna be really interesting to see if you catch

(35:39):
fires during his own trial.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
I mean the guys at crea stage that they're going
to put the creep on on the stands, especially he's
a convicted fraudster. Yeah, so he already got convicted of
lying and being a front.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
I think that would be we can't find the body,
it's been incinerated.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
That's right, Okay. I think Brian just needs to lock
it in. It's my opinion. I'm just saying. Also, this morning,
Lisa had some gym rage. It was some guy next
to her at the chim Oh.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Twice once in New York and once around here, just
like overdoing it with the workout.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Right next to you, burpie sweat all over the place.
So that was our topic of discussion for today. Was
you know Jim Jim pet peeves if you will.

Speaker 15 (36:19):
I saw this new Jim like pick up line and
I've yet to use it, but I think it's super clever.
This girl walked up to some guy and was like, oh,
how many sets do you have left? Or like when
are you going to be done?

Speaker 5 (36:32):
And he was like.

Speaker 15 (36:33):
Said, like how are money? And she was like, oh,
you mind like me giving your numbers so you can
text me and let me know when you're done, and
then just like walked away and then he like paused
from it, and it was like, wait, like just got
like distracted by like how smooth.

Speaker 20 (36:45):
She did it.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
That was smooth. Yeah, although I don't think a girl's
ever done that for me.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
No.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Yeah, that is a good little tip though.

Speaker 20 (36:56):
Good morning guys, especially Billy my biggest pet pee that Jim's.
When I'm working out on a treadmill and I don't know,
there might be only one or two available, and I
get on it and I see this girl giving me
this side eye and she's like, could you stop looking
at me or go to a different treadmill.

Speaker 6 (37:11):
It's like, listen, lady.

Speaker 20 (37:12):
First of all, I've only got eyes for Billy, okay,
And second of all, you're nothing right home about.

Speaker 18 (37:18):
Either, no.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Crazy crazy head peeves. Yeah. And finally, we had Keith
Lockhart in The Maestro earlier this hour for the holiday
Pops and Lisa Donovan. Lisa, what are you doing the
reading for.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Twas the Okay?

Speaker 3 (37:33):
Yeah, you go to BSO dot org to get your tickets.
I'll be their December seventeenth. It's the three o'clock show,
and I will be doing Twas the Night before Christmas.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, and she gave us a little tease.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
Twas the Night before Christmas went all through the house.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The
stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes
that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
I know you have a birthday shout out before we go.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
I sure knew. First of all, giving Tuesday wouldn't hurt
if you can make a donation to some worthy cause.
And I want to say happy birthday to my son Alex,
who today turns thirty four years old. Is that confirmed? Yes,
it's been confirmed. I didn't need it to be confirmed,
but yes, it was by him.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Yeah, he had producer Riley and I googling the age
of his son.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
Okay, for the show. Why do you want to ruin it?
This is a beautiful, beauty wish for my middle Maybe
happy birthday, Alix Anyway, we gotta go. We'll see you
in the morning. Mike

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
