Speaker 4 (00:19):
You know, I played that podcast for Riley yesterday, my

Speaker 2 (00:23):
We just keme playing it over, yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Voice. The video is up on the Kiss Instagram and
I believe Facebook as well. We had her on and
uh yeah hay wire, I just woke up.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Yeah, she's still out with shingles ever.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah, well she's been off the air since like last
Friday speaking.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Yeah, she's uh, she's probably gonna be out the rest
of this week anyway. I mean shingles. A almost said
the B word. Is that allowed?
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I just wouldn't say.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, it's not necessary. Yeah, it's a bitch. Yeah. We
thought that shingles may have affected her vocal cord, right,
you know, because it was spreading this past weekend. I
don't know if it still is.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yeah, when we when we first got her on the
phone yesterday, I couldn't believe. Now it was a technical glitch,
but it's just the timing of it couldn't have been
more perfect.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Well, it seems like something I would do alter her voice,
and I didn't. It was just just happened. She wants
to come back. Oh, she was trying to come back
on Monday.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Yeah, but it's not about us. It's it's it's about
the company.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
And you know, I mean, shingles.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Is serious business, and it is contagious under certain circumstances.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Well, if you haven't had chicken pox, that's where it
gets a little dicey.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
But it's also how she feels. Right. She doesn't feel well.
She said her body hurts, she doesn't feel good. Stay
home and rest. It's not a big deal. Yeah, I mean,
why not just stay home?
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Man?
Speaker 3 (02:01):
God, it's a perfect excuse shingles.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah, maybe I'll give our a call right now. I
just woke up. I want to get back to bed.
Speaker 5 (02:09):
Hunt.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
So rainy morning out there, release How long is the
rain going to stick around?
Speaker 4 (02:15):
It's like spotty showers, say, mostly cloudy, a tempts in the.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Sixties and a lot of rain tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah, overnight tonight to tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah. So it was very hot and humid yesterday and
you know, my AC was shut down. I was sweating
all night long.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, it was balmy, it was so hot.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah. My a in the boat's been shut down for
like four weeks. So were you sweating last night? Of
us out?
Speaker 3 (02:39):
I put a big fan in the in the bedroom. Yeah. Yeah,
we need a new pump. You gotta pump it up,
a new pump. I got the pump.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
It was delivered yesterday on the boat. Yeah, so we
have to put the pump in. Move it's a lot
of water boat and bring on another thousand.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
You have no idea how true that is from you
the last three or four weeks.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Just pay me.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Money's just flowing out money.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
It's the money pit.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah, I need another job. Do I have time for
another job?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
I mean you have. I'm not even gonna list all
the jobs that you have. Yeah, a lot.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
You're the busiest person. I know.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
It's just not coming in as fast as it's going out.
It's just anyway, we've got secret sound talk about money.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Seven eight ten this morning.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
The jackpot as of right now is three thousand, eight
hundred sixty four dollars.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Boy, I wish I could play. I give that to
the pump guy.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Yeah, come in handy.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
You gotta pump it up.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
And the new season of Survivor kicks off tonight and
there's a local woman that you know really well.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
It's the best story ever. So Shannon Fairweather. She is
the daughter of Julie Fairweather and Bill Fairweather. They own
the Greatest Bar. Yeah and yeah, Shennon's on the show
and they've created this really fun fan experience at the
bar called the Survival Ultimate Fan Cafes. You can actually
go to it, and like they've got like memorabilia and
pictures and all this fun stuff regarding Survivor.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
And isn't it going to be hosted by Boston Robb Yes, yep. Now,
producer Riley, who's standing next to me, probably doesn't know
who Boston Robb is. But he was on one of
the very first seasons of Survivor.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Did he win?
Speaker 4 (04:27):
No, But his wife Amber won Survivor All Stars. Yeah,
and they're married and they've got four daughters.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
But he's been on several seasons yes, yeah, yeah, And
he's hosting I did Win some Money, Yeah yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
He's going to host the viewing parties at the Greatest
Love This Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
He's a cool story. He's been around for a while
and a nice guy. He's been in the studio a
few times with us.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yeah, and then Shannon's actually on the show, yeah, competing.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Well, it's reality TV season because the Golden Bachelor starts tonight. Riley,
you're someone to join us tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Six forty New time.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
So if you are used to hearing him, like at
seven ten, we were moving it a little bit earlier.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
How was he when you told him that it was
going to be an early It was.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
A negotiation, Yeah, because he usually gets up at six
forty five, so now he's getting up fifteen minutes early.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Oh so producer Riley will call him around six six thirty,
six thirty, Okay, he's gonna be tied. I just woke up. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Well, the fact that we've got the Golden Bachelor and
The Survivor kicking off tonight, well, it's reality TV season,
so we're gonna have a fun topic on the show
this morning. There's a long list of reality shows. Do
you have a favorite? You might want to start thinking
about that now.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
It's tough to just pick one. So many great ones.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
What's the over under on how many times I'm going
to play those clips? Many? Many?
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Bye?
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Yeah, and I laugh every time. It couldn't be more
Perfect from the Planet Fitness Kiss one.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Of eight studios.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
We're back with a Billy and Lisa in the morning, and.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
The Secret Sound is back this morning. We'll play at
seven ten and eight ten. The jackpot, by the way,
is three thousand, eight hundred and sixty four dollars. So
Jimmy Kimmel back on TV last night with a fifteen
minute monologue.
Speaker 6 (06:24):
I've been hearing a lot about what I need to
say and do tonight, and the truth is, I don't
think what I have to say is going to make
much of a difference. If you like me, you like me.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
If you don't, you don't.
Speaker 6 (06:33):
I have no illusions about changing anyone's mind, but I
do want to make something clear because it's important to
me as a human, and that is you understand that
it was never my intention to make light of the
murder of a young man. I don't think there's anything
funny about it. I posted a message on Instagram of
the daves killed, sending love to his family and asking
(06:55):
for compassion, and I meant it.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
I still do.
Speaker 6 (06:58):
Nor was it my intention to blame any specific group
for the actions of what it was obviously a deeply
disturbed individual. I don't think the murderer who shot Charlie
Kirk represents anyone. This was a sick person who believed
violence was a solution and it isn't ever.
Speaker 7 (07:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
To recap, Kimmel was taking off TV because of comments
he made about the Charlie Kirk gilling. Last night. He
reached out to Charlie Kirk's a widow, Erica, over the weekend.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
A very beautiful moment. I don't know if you saw
this on Sunday. Erica Kirk forgave the man who shot
her husband. She forgave him. That is an example we
should follow if you believe in the teachings of Jesus
as I do. There it was, that's it, a selfless
(07:49):
act of grace forgiveness from a grieving widow. It touched
me deeply.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
He got emotional several times, really emotional during the speech
last night. He also mentioned the fans for sticking by him.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
I also want to thank all of you.
Speaker 6 (08:13):
We supported our show, cared enough to do something about it,
to make your voices heard so that mine can be heard.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
I will never forget it. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Also, more than four hundred celebrities posted support for Jimmy Kimmel.
Stephen Colbert also canceled recently said this tonight, Jimmy Kimmel
returned to the airwaves.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Hill, I'm glad Kimmel's back. He is a wonderful fella.
Speaker 8 (08:37):
To know him well is to admire him immensely, even
if he takes the whole summer off.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
And you knew Kimmel would get around to mentioning the president.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
President of the United States made it very clear he
wants to see me and the hundreds of people who
work here fired from our jobs. Our leader celebrates Americans
losing their livelihoods because he can't take a joke.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
By the way, some ABC affiliates are still holding out
keeping Kimmel off TV. They say more than twenty four
percent of affiliates across the country. All kinds of theories
as to why Disney was so determined to cancel Kimmel,
and I'm sure we'll see more and more theories out there,
but that's what went down last night.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah. The new one is that Bob Iger at Disney
wanted to kind of straighten the ship, get away from
the politics for he retires, to get Disney more aligned
with like you know what they do that's one theory.
I mean, who knows. I think. My opinion is I
think that, you know, kimill should leave politics out of it,
and the President should stop tweeting insults at Jimmy Kimmel.
(09:45):
I mean it's upsetting. Doesn't the president have to run
the world. I mean, like him or not, he's running
the free world and he's tweeting insults at Kimmel. So
maybe if they both just Kim's funny.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Yeah, no, I totally agree. K Kimmel was creative.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
He's funny. It's the show.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
But I agree, I'd love to see them take politics
out of late night TV. It's they're entertainment shows. And
I'd love to see the presidents stop with the ridiculous tweets.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
Yeah, he was at the UN speaking yesterday, you know,
handling world business, but then he put out a tweet
towards Kimmel, and it's like, just step away. That's my opinion,
But who.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Am I Especially in the middle of your address to
the UN General Assembly, there is no focus on business. Yeah,
there's so much going on in the world. But again,
both sides just need to back off a little bit.
That's my opinion.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Like, I love Kimmel's feud with Matt Damon. Yeah, I
love money and it's fake, it's it's creative. Yeah, the
mean tweets, legendary segments. Yeah. And then Gamo, who doesn't
love Gamo? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (10:52):
And people talk a lot about you know, in the
older days late night shows, it was all about entertaining people,
give people an escape before for bed, and there was
never politics. And I just again, I just think lose
some of the anger.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Everybody on both sides. Yes, too, definitely on both sides.
So while Kim's Kimmel's back, So do we think that
these you know, affiliates will eventually bring Kimmel back? I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I mean, you never know what's behind decisions that people making,
giant conglomerates. I think it's I think it's kind of weird,
and I think it's kind of weird the way they
cancel Colbert. You know, he's still going to be on
until mid next year, and yet he's canceled. That didn't
make much sense to me either, right right, it's true.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
Good morning everybody. I just want to say that the
political climate today stresses me out and makes my anxiety pique.
So I personally really appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
You guys never.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
Speak of politics, So thank you for keeping the morning
silly without having to go there.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Well, we do make things very silly on the show.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Oh yeah you do.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
If you want one hundred percent silliness, you have found
the right show.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Yeah, yeah, you're in the right place.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Yeah we're okay, well.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Said, okay, we do silly one.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Politics really doesn't have a place on this show.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Typically. Well, it's just a never ending cycle, right, there's
always something to fight about, there's always something to argue about.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
You're never going to win, and.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
You're never gonna win.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Yeah, then you get other people angry, and you know,
one side disagrees, the other side agrees.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
The next day it's different. It's just you know, that's
too much, just like late night, early morning. You don't
leave it out. Just leave it out and you'll be okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (12:45):
From the Planet Fitness Kids one o eight Studios, we're
back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Hey what do you say? We play Secret Sound presented
by six one seven Injured. You can find him on
Instagram at to injury Money The Jack Right Now three thousand,
eight hundred sixty four dollars. That's a lot of dough.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Lease, that is a lot of cash.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Whoo man, walk into the weekend with Jeff under four
grand I'll take it. But we're going to play with
the secret sound one more time.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Here it is.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Oh boy, okay, we need a caller twenty five at
six one seven, nine, three one eight now.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
The entertainment update with a billy concept.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
So I've already talked a lot about Jimmy Kimmel this morning.
He was back on TV last night, back on.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
I've been hearing a lot about what I need to
say and do tonight. I've been hearing a lot about
what I need to say and do tonight. And the
truth is, I don't think what I have to say
is going to make much of a difference. If you
like me, you like me. If you don't, you don't.
I have no illusions about changing anyone's mind. But I
do want to make something clear because it's important to
me as a human, and that is you understand that
it was never my intention to make light of the
(14:03):
murder of a young man.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Yeah, I was a fifteen minute monologue. He made a
lot of sense.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
I thought he did a really good job.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Yeah, very emotional at times. Ye, and so that was
last night. So Kimmel is back meantime. The new season
of The Golden Bachelor starts tonight. Mel Owens a one
time football player, divorced and looking for love. Mel says
he's been following the show for years.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
H Where are you? Mel?
Speaker 4 (14:31):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (14:31):
There you are.
Speaker 9 (14:32):
I think it started in two thousand and two, so
I had watched it from that point going forward for
about maybe two three years. Then I had my boys,
and then I didn't have as much time to watch.
But I was in and out of the Bachelor broadcast
(14:56):
from time to time, so I knew about, you know,
how it worked in some of the people, but I
didn't really follow it that closely.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Had my kids, I was putting me to sleep.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Okay, Mel, I'm going to have to step it up
for the show. I'm just saying, you say, his wife,
his ex wife is already speaking out least.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
She spoke to the Daily Mail People magazine and they
asked her if she would be watching, and she said
to him, good luck. I mean it's going to be bad,
but anyway, I don't want to be involved in this.
So she had a very bad experience with him. They
just finalized their divorce last year.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
Yeah, he doesn't strike me as somebody with good energy.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Well, Mel, there also was some controversy, remember this, Lisa,
because he said he didn't want to pick anyone that
was younger than I mean older than sixties. Right, yet
he's on the Golden Bachelor.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
They're all on their sixties.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Yeah, it was an insult. He took a shote.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
Okay, mel Well, Lisa son Riley, our official correspondent on
All Things a Bachelor's going to join us on the
show recap episode one at six forty tomorrow morning, this same.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Time, right, that's a new time for him.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
How is he feeling on this season so far? Does
he have good expectations or what?
Speaker 4 (16:12):
I think he feels the same way about Mel like
we do. So he'll be interested to see what the
dynamic will be between these ladies.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
I look forward to it.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
I think there's a chance this season you may see
Mel kicked out.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Yeah, well, it's going to reverse the whole show.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
No, she says it's going to be bad.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
So oh yeah, we wait for that day. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah,
so long.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
Also tonight, the new season of Survivor season forty nine. Whoa,
it's going to be in the fijis. There is a
local contestant, Shannon Fairweather from Wakefield, Massachusetts, and she's going
to come in the studio this morning.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Right Li she is.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
And I know Shannon like for way back when. I'm
friends with her mom, Julie Fairweather, And they're having this
amazing Survivor Ultimate Fan Cafe at the Greatest Bar upstairs
and Boston Rob's gonna host the night tonight. And yeah,
so Shannon's competing for a million.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
Bucks Wednesday Night Watch party. So a fifteen this morning,
Shannon will be in the studio. She's on Surviving So exciting.
Speaking of TV shows, Fox is bringing back Baywatch with
an all new cast, Adrenaline fueled rescues, tangled relationships, complicated chemistry,
(17:28):
beach side heroes all coming back next year, bring out
the Baby Oil Family Anderson that was her show. I
remember as a kid watching that show at her running
down the beach as a young.
Speaker 10 (17:41):
Boy in the red bathing suit, yep, knocking around and
one of the greatest movies of all time, The Hand
that Rocks the Cradle is coming back.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
The reboot will drop October twenty second on Hulu. We've
got a clip from the trailers something along with her mom.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
She said, your mom pretending to be someone else?
Speaker 8 (18:11):
Who as shit?
Speaker 1 (18:13):
Was it? Rebecca de Mornae? Yes, I remember this movie.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
The Nanny never happened to Annabella Scura? Didn't she end
up on the Sopranos?
Speaker 1 (18:23):
I believe? So wow? So that's coming Hulu October twenty second.
How about this?
Speaker 3 (18:27):
Cardi B is the new voice of the New York
Subway system.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Hey, New York, it's Cardi B. I'm here at the
MCA recording some PSAs you'll be hearing in the subway stations.
We're walking here. That's our first stepping not city. Move it, bucko.
These trains don't move without you. So make sure you
pay that fare and keep it real.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Stop subway surfing, right, say keep it cute and keep
it moving.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Oh I like that?
Speaker 8 (18:58):
Really?
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Do maham.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
A cut as expected? She want to call her daddy
with Alex Cooper. Yesterday we've talked to her about Stefan
Diggs and she's not only dating Stefan Diggs, she's carrying
his child.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
And she was.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
Asked yesterday if she's going to be going to pats games.
Speaker 11 (19:16):
Do you think you'll go in the field. I don't know,
KURTI this is like fun, this is fun.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
I know.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
I just like I'm just like learning different things every day.
Speaker 7 (19:26):
Like people probably think that I just got these things
fed down, and I'm just like I'm just like as
a little girl, Like not little girl, but it's like.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
I was like, you're excited.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah, I'm excited.
Speaker 11 (19:35):
It's like the beginning stages of something really fun and
it's exciting to be moving forward.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
You gotta translate, list she's excited. Yea excited. I can translate.
I've been.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Stomach and vagina.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Jelly Rolling post Malone wrapping up their joint tour in
London last night on Sta jelly Roll, which show me
posts my low some love.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Nobody's ever took me to thirty forty seven. He's across
the world.
Speaker 12 (20:06):
I gave you more money than anybody's ever gave you
to play a show open and.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
For anybody higher. Everybody who works for you loves your post.
Speaker 6 (20:13):
There is a bad stage crew of people who love you.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
We love you, post, I love you, Thank you for
bringing me on this tour. You're music saves people posting.
We love you posting, we love you posting. Now, that
is good chemistry, you know. Oh they're perfect together.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Yeah, and jelly Roll, by the way, has lost over
two hundred pounds. Gary Brecca is the guy who worked
on that with Jelly Roll.
Speaker 8 (20:41):
I got a DM one day from him and he said,
do you work with fat people? We flew out and
met him in LA and we flew on his jet
to Vegas. So I had him do some blood work,
had him do the teen testing, and I did the
whole the labor view for him on the plane. And
I'll never forget that flight. It was actually very sad
because I could see this guy's heart.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
He's a good.
Speaker 8 (21:00):
Human, but he could barely fit in this private airplane seat.
And he started talking to us describing what it was
like to go through a day in the life of
just being him and his weight. Like he would say,
I have to sleep on my side and wedge myself
in with pillows because if I roll on my back
at night, I'll suffocate al Vama And he was like,
you know, I never turned the radio down in the
car because when I pull up to a stoplight, I
(21:21):
can hear myself wheezing, so I'll just turn the radio
up to bury the sound of my own breath wheezing.
Every morning that he would wake up, he said, as
soon as he would wake up, he would thank God
that he didn't die that night, because he felt like
he was going to die every night went to sleep.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Like he is in a place.
Speaker 8 (21:35):
He's like, I'm ready to commit to changing this because
God's given me this opportunity to have my music serve
the world, and I feel like I'm going to die.
He is one of the most genuine human beings and
to see that transition right there is just is just amazing.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Justin.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Gary Brek has worked with a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Right Yeah. Dana White credits him with getting his health
in order. Dana was pretty sick, had some real healthy
things going on, and Gary like reworked everything and got
him healthy. Wow. He's kind of this celebrity fitness nutrition guy. Hey.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Jason Tatum went on Jenna and Friends yesterday That's Your
Friend List. General Jenna Bushaker talked about the Achilles injury,
the recovery and the comeback.
Speaker 12 (22:16):
I think for me and my team, the doctor, the organization,
the most important thing is making them for recovery. Being
back one hundred percent not rushing it. But I haven't
said like, yo, I'm not playing. What I will say
is I'm not working out rehabbing six days a week
for no reason.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
Yeah, and well documented. Jalen Brown is a huge fan
of Bill night a science guy. This week he was
at the unveiling of Bill night Star on the Hollywood
Walk of Fame.
Speaker 13 (22:43):
Bill was a bright spot and all of our day
when they rolled that TV out with the trolley, like
we knew what tom it was. But building not just
teach science. He taught a generation of students of all
walks of life to explore, to discover, to create, and
(23:04):
also to ask questions.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
You know, Jalen, we feel the same way.
Speaker 13 (23:09):
There was a bright spot and all of our days.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Yeah, and now this an AI artist, Zania Monet, just
signed a three million dollar deal, a record deal.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
She's the creation of Talsia.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
Jones, who, by the way, writes lyrics and uses the
AI platform and the finished product already has millions of
streams on YouTube and Spotify.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
And we've got a clip.
Speaker 10 (23:40):
Came in on one.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
The real one Isry J. Blige. Yeah, it's good, but
it's frightening the music industry. On the road. Are we
going to have like a jingle Ball of AI artists?
I don't know. I mean that that songwriter writes the
(24:05):
songs and then she just puts it into a program
and that's what it spits out. There's another one that
has gone viral this week of fifty cents many Men.
So we had that song many Men. This one which
they took that song and put it in AI and
they wanted to turn it into like a nineteen fifties. Yeah,
that's not how good this sounds indible. It's unreal. Yeah,
(24:34):
and it is very fifties. It is.
Speaker 14 (24:36):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
By the way, I mentioned jingle Ball. We have jingle
Ball tickets coming up at nine to ten this morning.
We will announce jingle Ball Friday morning else.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I can't wait. And live music is where it's at.
And that's jingle Ball.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
You got that. Rud doesn't get better.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Doesn't get any better than jingle Ball.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
And we're brought to you by Dover Rugginholme.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
There are literally dozens of reasons why you should go
to Dover rug for rugs or carpany.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
But in fifteen seconds we can only tell you where
to go.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
And that's Dover Rugnatic Boston Burlington or doverrug dot com.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
And you just talk over my clip. Yes I did.
It's okay, Well, you know what, you're still the bright spot.
Speaker 13 (25:17):
Phil was a spot and all of our day.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Kid's one eight secret Sounds.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
Okay, let's go to the phones.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
We've got Lisa in the beautiful Newburyport, Massachusetts, which by
the way, is on the Mighty Merrimac.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
Good morning, Lisa, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
All right, Lisa, we're ready to play the game.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Are you ready to play the game, Lisa.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
I am ready.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
All right.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
We're gonna give you the secret sound one more time.
Please listen very carefully, Lisa on the Mighty Merrimack in Newburyport,
Massachusetts for three thousand, eight hundred sixty four dollars.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
What is the secret sound?
Speaker 5 (26:13):
I think it is.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Okay, the judge is looking me right in the eye,
right across the table. Let's go to the judge.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Judge. What do we think, Lisa? That is not the
secret sounds? Really?
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Oh, Lisa, We're sorry, but I have a great day
at work. Thank you for listening, Thank you for playing.
The Secret Sound presented by sixty one seven Injured millions
one every month on Instagram at the injury money, Oh.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
My god, are you okay? Lisa? Just making sure hard
We'll do it again. Eight ten the jackpot rises. How
about this three thousand, nine hundred and seventy two bucks
could be yours, Lisa O money. One of the.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Greatest lines of all time. You gotta give that big
booty a slap.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
That songwriting right there, that is it just doesn't get
any better.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
If flow Rider did our jingle ball last year, yeah,
he crushed it.
Speaker 5 (27:13):
He did.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Oh man, he's shirtless. He was wandering all over the
garden going up into the stands. Oh god, great energy. Yeah,
don't forget jingle Ball. Tickets coming up this morning at
seven ten and well yeah, seven ten and eight ten,
nine ten, nine ten.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Oh no, the jingle Ball's nine ten. I'm sorry. We
got a lot going on it, so it's not your
fault this so much. And for our listeners, we know
it's a lot, but just you know, we'll do our
best to keep you, you know, holm and we will
announce jingle Ball. It's two days away.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
We'll announce it at seven fifteen Friday morning, Big Weekend
Reality TV because The Golden Bachelor starts a new season tonight,
so does Survivor. And we've got a local contestant from
the new season of Survivor coming in studio this morning
right after eight o'clock. I think it's eight fifteen this
morning exactly.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
The name Shannon of fair Weather. Yeah, and she's on.
Is it season forty nine?
Speaker 4 (28:04):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (28:05):
And it makes you wonder all these reality shows over
the years, did you have a favorite?
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Well, I remember, like like when reality TV first started,
you had you know, you had the Osbourne's, you had
this civil life with Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie, and
then you went into the real World which was huge,
and then the Kardashians. But like when you talk about
like competition reality shows like The Bachelor, The Amazing Race,
(28:36):
and Survivor, I have to say my favorite of all
time because I've watched so many versions is the Bachelor franchise. Like,
if you think about it, you've got The Bachelor, the
Bachelor at Bachelor in Paradise, now the Golden Bachelor, and
I think they just keep reinventing themselves in a way
that you know, we were saying off the air. Sometimes
it doesn't hit, but it has hit more than it
(28:56):
has well.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
It's definitely the most successful franchise in reality TV.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
I would have to say yeah. I mean they have
a lot of viewers. They do well, otherwise it would
be canceled. Same thing with Survivor. You might think to yourself,
people still watch Survivor. I mean it's the forty ninth season. Yeah,
I gotta be honest.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
I didn't know it was still on. But when the
Survivor first came on, I remember watching the first couple
of episodes. I remember the guy from Rhode Island that
won I think the first season and then went to prison.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
For tax evasion. Right, well, there was that Richard. Yeah, yeah,
I think the very first might have been you know,
correct me if I'm wrong, The Real World, Yeah, Rob,
early nineties, that was kind of the first one. And
then I think for Family maybe the Osbourne's.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
It was the Osbourne's definitely.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Right, that took you inside the home, you got a
behind the scenes look. And then the Kardashians, of course,
is probably one of the biggest, which was created by
Ryan Seacrest. Oh yeah, our brother hare oyah. Yeah, that
was yeah, that's I mean, that's is that still on
the Kardashians. Yeah, yeah, it's who.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
I really liked Amazing Race because it kind of took
you around the world in a creative way. And I
was a big fan of Fear Factor. Oh I fear
That was Joe Rogan right coming back.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
He used to come in all the time studio.
Speaker 9 (30:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, infamously Joe Rogan down the hall at jam and
Santy he came in because he was doing comedy in
Boston and uh, and he put Santy in a chokehold
and he knocked him out because he's an MMA fighter.
Oh yeah, Santy went legit out. He has the video,
it's probably posted on his So wow. But that's coming
back hosted by Johnny Knoxville Bill Oh really yeah, now
(30:32):
Johnny Knoxville. Which show was that Jackass, which was kind
of re y It definitely was, so it makes sense.
Yeah for me, it was the v H one shows
and MTV. Obviously Jersey Shore I did watch and that's
still around. But then there was like Flavor of Love.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
That was a good one for two years.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Yeah, and then Rock of Love remember that one. Brett
Michaels was another dating one that was good that was
on VH one, MTV had some good ones.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
They had the original great ones.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Oh yeah, good Morning Morning Crewe whenny yesterday that was
hysterical satan.
Speaker 14 (31:13):
So my favorite shows, I would have to say is
Love at First Sight and Love is Blind, Absolutely love
those shows.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
Have a great day, guys.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Thank you hey.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
Reality question, uh is below Deck considered a reality show?
Speaker 2 (31:28):
It is Dudley's catch.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
I like below Deck at Top chef Hell's Kitchen The Apprentice.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
The Apprentice is one of the originals.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
Yeah. And the issue with a lot of these reality
TV shows is, you know, they create drama, you know,
they create storylines, you know, because they want it to
be a certain way. And that was one of the
criticisms of The Golden Bachelor the first season, there wasn't
enough juice. You watch the reality shows for the juice.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Well, I mean tonight, you know, the Golden Bachelor starts
and mel Owens is the Golden Bachelor, and he just
strikes me as a flat.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
Tire, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
I'm sorry, he just is bad energy.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
You just did your entertainment at seven ten and we
played the sound of him time. He sounds like a bowl.
Speaker 9 (32:10):
I think it started in two thousand and two, so
I watched it.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Oh shut up, I don't know. I'm not into this.
I don't think this one no, but we'll see. I
don't know, but I will say they grabbed me. With
the first season of The Golden Bachelor. I thought it
breathed new life into the franchise.
Speaker 4 (32:28):
And I think that the ladies are not going to
get along as well as the first season did, because
that was one of the things that my son Riley
was saying, like they were all like too chummy. I
feel like maybe this season there might be some cat fights.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Yeah, I think Riley, your son said it. He said
the women were more in love with each other than
they were with The Golden Bachelor. Yeah, and he ended
up being a creep right.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Oh like Gary next level creep.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
Yeah yeah, all right, Well, you know it's gonna premiere
tonight along The Survivor. We'll have Riley on tomorrow at
six point forty. And by the way, Bill, who could
forget your favorite one of all time? The Real Housewives?
Speaker 3 (33:04):
Oh yeah, Remember I actually vowed to never mention The
Real Housewives on this show, and I never did until
that monster called into the show.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
Teresa Judaye secondary moment, she had a little spat on
the air with Billy and.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
I said to you, no, I don't do real housewives.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
I never have.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
Oh, we got to put her on. She's good Teresa,
and right away she attacked me.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
She definitely did. But we held our ground with her.
We definitely did.
Speaker 5 (33:33):
Now it's topic time with the Billy and Lisa in the.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Morning, and we're talking about reality shows and why not
tonight the new season of a Golden Bachelor and the
new season of Survivor. And by the way, the second
episode of the new season of Dancing with the Stars
is on tonight. It's another show we didn't even mention.
And we were Dancing with the Stars and.
Speaker 4 (33:53):
We were going down the rabbit hole of reality shows
of all time, and how could we forget? Like the
Biggest Lose are Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
The Boss when they moved the bush.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
It was legendary, so emotional. Man.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
Yeah, is that show still on?
Speaker 2 (34:12):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
No.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
American Ninja Warrior where they go out on the obstacle
course and that's another reality queer eye for the straight guy.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
Oh yeah, Carson Kressley was on that Project Runway.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
I never watched that either. My wife's a huge trash
TV reality show. But now it's funny now that she's
gotten a little bit older, she watches a lot of HGTV,
like she was devastated about Jonathan Chokun and canceled.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Yep, oh, the Farmhouse Show.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
The Farmhouse Show, Jonathan Knight.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
Do you guys watch Doctor Pimple Popper?
Speaker 1 (34:44):
I can't know, it's disgusting.
Speaker 5 (34:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
And then you've got those shows like My ten Thousand
Pounds Sister and.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Yeah, My Strange Obsession. Yes, guys, it's so many good ones.
Speaker 14 (34:56):
Oh yeah, how can you talk about MTV's reality TV
but not talk about the best competition show, The Challenge
going on for over thirty seasons now, definitely one of
the best.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
Yeah. So you had The Real World and then you
had the Challenge. Yeah I don't even remember that. Sorry,
you had the rail World and you had Road Rules
where they would take him on the road, and then
they put them together and picked the contestants from each
show and had the Challenge, which is still on.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
I've never watched that.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Oh, it's so good. There's a local guy that's been
on a bunch of them CT he's local. And then
don't forget Ashley down the Hall was on the rail World.
Oh that's right, she was, Oh that was right, Yeah,
she was there. They had a Boston season, they did,
They did, I think early on.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
Yeah they did. Oh my god, because we had one
of the guys on.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
I just thought of that. My wife, Michelle was in
a reality show.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
What reality show?
Speaker 1 (35:47):
I forget the name of it. Oh, we need to
find this out.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
Yeah, she was on a reality show, both she and
her sister. Really on the early days of reality TV.
But when you think about the industry that reality TV became,
I mean it's massive. Listen to all these shows.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
There's so many. I mean I have so many talkbacks
and so many shows that I completely forgot about.
Speaker 14 (36:08):
Do you guys remember Shot at Love with Chila Tequila?
Speaker 1 (36:11):
That show was wild. I remember that Chila Tequila. There
was a local contestant on that show too, from my
city in Malden. Really yeah. Yeah, they were like completely
unhinged these shows.
Speaker 7 (36:22):
I just want to make note of how absolutely unhinged
early two thousands reality TV was. I don't know if
anybody remembers that show Next on MTV, and it was
like somebody would get off the bus and then their
date would be waiting for them and they'd take one
look at.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
Them and be like no.
Speaker 7 (36:39):
And then they were like really problematic shows like The
Swan where they were essentially like, this woman is so ugly,
We're getting her extensive plastic surgery to change her life.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Yeah, that was so messed up.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
I remember it was like one season and then it
just became like a horror show. Remember Joe Millionaire and
then we found he came in and then we found
out that he wasn't a millionaire.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
Yes, it was a complete fraud. Fraud. Yeah, and they
were all vying for the millionaires love. Oh, we're going
to be set for life.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Nothing nothing, Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Remember you telling me that story he came into the
studio I did. Yeah, Yeah, I remember you tell me that.
Speaker 10 (37:15):
Does anyone remember the show Meets the Barkers with Travis
Parker and.
Speaker 7 (37:18):
Channa mostly his ex wife, and I thought it was
the best show.
Speaker 10 (37:21):
I can't remember what network was on, but it was
one of the.
Speaker 7 (37:24):
First reality shows.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
I actually remember Meet the Barkers. I think I did
watch that two thousand and five ish it was on MTV.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Travis Barker, Let's go to the phones, Kaitlin has one
a Caitlin, what reality show you want to talk about?
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Good morning?
Speaker 15 (37:41):
I definitely have to talk about Laguna Beach and the Hills.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
Those were definitely one of my favorite men.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
So those were reality shows?
Speaker 1 (37:48):
Yeah, of course, the Hells, Yeah they were, yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah. It followed the Teenagers were the Teenagers? And
Laguna Beach. Wow? Was One Tree Hill a reality show?
Speaker 7 (37:59):
That was.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
Dawson's Creek was not.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
A reality show?
Speaker 13 (38:07):
No?
Speaker 1 (38:07):
Well, Bill is only focused on one show. Good morning, guys.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
It's whinny he kidding, Good morning guys, especially Billy.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Listen.
Speaker 13 (38:15):
If the topic is reality TV shows, there's only one,
and obviously it's a guiding playbooks.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
It's following this hunky guy eating food. What's better than that?
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Oh right, you would be in that category.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Yeah. Would that be considered a reality show?
Speaker 3 (38:30):
I don't think so, because it's not a competition.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
No, they don't have to be. They don't know.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
I mean, look at the Osbourne's or the Kardashians.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
I guess in some way it could be a reality show.
Meet Boston probably more because we're out on the streets
interacting with people and artists and architects, and front tours
and stuff.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
I guess it could be.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Did you text my wife yet and find out what
the name of.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Busy right now? But I'll find out.
Speaker 14 (38:56):
There's a show out called The High Potential the episode
two of season two Aeric last Night.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
It is a really great show. I started watching it
because I don't know her.
Speaker 10 (39:07):
Name, but she's in It's like the blonde girl from
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Oh my god, Oh I have something on this What
I forgot to tell you about this bill? So It's
Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That's a great show. I don't
know if you've ever ever seen. It's been on forever.
It's hilarious. Well, Charlie Day, who's the co creator and
star of the show, is gonna be in Boston this
weekend for free events. You can meet Charlie Day. Really Yeah,
he's got a new whiskey and he's coming to Boston
(39:33):

Speaker 1 (40:06):
It's always Sunny's is a classic. Okay, He's so good,
Danny DeVito, come on, so get there early. Sorry, I'm sorry.
All right, you're kind of losing it over Charlie Day.
I just well, he's it's a great all right. Do

the wrap up at nine. All my it's always Sonny

(40:28):

Speaker 15 (40:30):
And if you're still not watching The Traders on Peacock,
what what what.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Are you doing?
Speaker 15 (40:37):
That has to be one of the best reality TV
competition shows ever, especially last season. Boston Robb you guys
were just talking about, was actually on last season and
there is an episode where there's a face off between
him and Bob the Drag Queen. That has to be
one of the best episodes of TV in history.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
It is so good. Please go watch it. There's a
new one you have to check out. Yeah, I've got
my wife's reality show.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
What was it called?
Speaker 10 (41:04):
Wicked Fit was based on her gym.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
Yes, I think a lot of it.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Your pla, This is amazing.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
Yeah. Producers came in from California and it was like.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
A big deal and she was like the gym owner. Yeah,
but she would always end up in arguments with people
or something. She told me about it over the years.
Wicked Fit, Oh, featuring I'm on the Hunt.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
I'm gonna find her. I cannot believe you believe this?
This is unbelievably forgot. Oh my god. Well let me
call Michelle and see what she says. Coffee. I'm sorry,
are we not time? It is
