coming up this Sunday night and again we'll have shot
at tickets at seven ten and eight ten. But they
just came out with this list of touring artists and
the biggest I guess in the millennium.

Right, So it's the it's from two thousand and one
to the end of twenty twenty five.

And Ed Sheeran's on the list and he's our headline.

He's absolutely on the list.

Yeah, So that got us talking about the list and
how they put it together and what the criteria was.

I think it's a strange list for some reason.

Well, it's it's weird because we just came off of
the Taylor Swift Eras tour and that was the top
grossing tour of all time.

But this list is based on ticket sales, so the
metric is slightly different. And just to note, Taylor did
not come out with her first album until two thousand
and six, so there's five years ahead.

can't you can't get the average retail price anymore of shows. Yeah,

it's all resale. You know, Taylor didn't set the price
of her tickets. It just goes crazy after the released
and that's the big, you know, issue with ticket Master
and why everybody's mad, including Olivia Dean who's dealing with

forth at it for more than a week now because

but we ordered a flat screen and a bracket to
hold the flat screen.

until three days after they said it was coming in.

I'm getting a refund. But that had the bulk of
the presence and everything was discounted and on sale.

think the main culprit for me is when I like
something on Instagram and go to buy it off of air,

processes so many payments. Now once you go there, good
luck getting anybody in customer service. Even if you find
an email address, You're just not going to get anybody.

people advise, is to go on a website, not just
a link from Instagram.

myself Lisa justin, we're all going through some sort of
an online nightmare right online shopping.

Yes, whether you're getting the item, the item came in wrong,
and you're not getting information from the company. We've all
are having this issue right now. It's like crunch time.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
My wife, Michelle and I have been going back and
forth at it for more than a week now because
we ordered and the item. I'm going to mention any stores,
but we ordered a flat screen and a bracket to
hold the flat screen.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
On the wall.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Okay, And first of all, the TV never came in
until three days after they said it was coming in.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
We had booked someone to install everything. We had to
cancel right so that window closed.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
The bracket never came until I left for work this morning. Someone,
some mystery person delivered the bracket at about two this morning.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Yeah. I love when this happens.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
It's and I'm always arguing with Michelle. I love her
as if she was my own wife. But we argue constantly,
and I'm like, why don't we just go and buy it,
because because every day boxes are getting shipped out of
the house returns from online shopping.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
Look, look, I think everybody it's easier to do it
online from the comfort of your own home. You just
order it right from your phone.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
But it isn't part of the joy to go shop,
especially during the holidays.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Lisa, you you're a shopper. Yes, do you still do both?
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Okay, do more of what I'm doing both.

But I have to say the item that I ordered,
I haven't even gotten a shipping confirmation. I ordered it
four or five days ago. Their website. You have to
email someone and they don't email you back. There's no
phone number. And my thing is it was kind of expensive,
so if it's not going to come in, I'd rather
just cancel it and move on. But then you've got

to wait for them to credit your credit. It's just
it's such a nightmare.

Oh that's another thing.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
All of a sudden, you're keeping track of what you paid,
what you paid for, what you didn't pay for. If
you're getting the refund if you're getting the credit, I
mean back.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
And forth, back and forth.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Well, the fact that you never got a confirmation that
it was being packed or anything is just trouble.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
It's still it's still I haven't gotten anything. I got
a confirmation that they got my order and they have
my money.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
They always take the money.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
That's the only thing I've gotten.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
There's always someone on the other end to take the money.
There's just never anyone on the other end to ring
what you bought on time.

The money did ducks from your bank account, no matter what, right, And.

I just want to know should I move on and
get something else for this person or should I wait?
And it's going to show up in time for Christmas?
And that's the part that's so frustrating is they will
not tell me.

Yeah, Well, I mean every day we get we're getting
closer and closer.

So you could put a stop payment on it, I believe.

Yeah, and then order from somewhere else and you're going
to make another online order.

I mean, can you buy that in stores? Lease?

No, you can't. That's the problem.

That's the thing, Billy. Some of these things you can't
even get in the stores. You have to get them online.

I got to tell you, there's not a day that
goes by, not even just the holiday season, not a
day that goes by that I don't see my wife
Michelle in the kitchen repacking something that came from an
online order because it was the wrong item, it was
the wrong size, it was the wrong color, it just
didn't fit. And repacking and sending it back.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Yeah, it becomes a full time job keeping track of everything.
So my problem is I ordered something that just says
it was delivered, but it never was and it was
from They didn't take a picture. You know, delivery services
take pictures.

At which I like.

This one didn't and it says I looked on the
on the app, it said delivered at this time to
my porch, and it never was there. It's not there
unless the porch pirate got it.

Well, you know who really loves online shopping, The porch pirates.

They love it.

The box is littering the porch every day.

And I have a ring camera and it didn't pick
up any item being delivered or taken. Yeah, I don't
know what what now? What do I do?

Well, Lisa, you're basically saying you never got the item.

Never got the item. By the way, Oh, by the way,

Well, so my issue is that, like many of us,
I did a ton of shopping on Black Friday, and
I did a huge bulk order from Amazon that had
a ton of gifts for my two kids and my nephew.
And I found out this morning. I got a notification
that one of the boxes was lost, and so now
(28:08):
I'm getting a refund. But that had the bulk of
the presence and everything was discounted and on sale.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Yeah, I lost all that.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
And by the way, the item wasn't lost, it was
taken well probably yes, probably during ship yees.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Yes, all right, So now's now it's back to square one.
Now she has to start all over again.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Oh when you'll spend hours trying to get the refund,
trying to get the credit. Nobody wants to talk to you.
It's crazy, Land. Just go to the store and buy it.
Is that so hard? Is that so difficult? I'll tell
you right now, Michelle, right now is going to the
front door. Trust me when I tell you going to
the front door to get the item. Right, She's going

to bring it back into the house right and realize
it's the wrong item, and then it starts.

All over again.

Did I mention the guy that was gonna install the item?
We canceled and we'll never see him again. I've been
waiting seven months just to have him come in and
drive a nail it somewhere. So we're never gonna see him.
So now, if and when we ever get the item
the flat screen, it'll just sit on the floor for
like months.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
I can send a friend of mine to mount your Tea.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Yeah, okay, you don't have a friend that's gonna come.
Speaker 1 (29:24):

They did my TV. Don't worry about it. But yeah,
I love that part of the story that the brackets
arrived in the middle of the night in the morning.
It's sometimes it'll say it's out for delivery, it'll never come,
and then days later it just appears. You know the
fun How about this one? I ordered an item in
March of this year, earlier this year, and it got lost.

It appeared in June. It showed up at my house
in June. Months later.

Well, I'll tell you a real creepy story. Last night
we were watching it walking Titus a good boy. We're
walking Titus on his nightly walk, and we walked by
a delivery van. Okay, that was parked right outside a park,
like in the parking lot sleeping.

He's got the thing. Oh, he's sleeping in the van
right around the color. Well they're working twenty four seven.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Oh, this is like busy time for that.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Yeah, and a lot of these comings. You're in an
outsourced delivery. Yeah, I probably should have knocked on the window.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
And say, hey, you got my item.

You know where we're using my item as a pillow
in the van.

Yeah, where's my brackets?

Yeah, So I ordered a bunch of stuff from Target,
from Alo whatever. Both of the packages say they were delivered,
Well they weren't because I didn't get them. So I'm like,
what is going on? This is peachre two packages came
at different times, they're both not here. So I ordered
stuff also from Lululemon, and I just so happened to
be home when the FedEx driver pulls up. He sat

in his truck and yeaded my package like a football
in the middle of my loss and drove away.

I was like, what are you doing?

I ran out. I ran out to the end of
my driveway and I caught him right before he drove away,
and I was like.

Like I've lost two packages because clearly you're throwing them
and just leaving them the winds, blowing them whatnot. And
he goes, oh, so where do you want them? On
the front steps? Like where do you want them? And yeah,
where else would I want them?

Yeah, that's like the basic, like the bare minimum, just
on the step.

And the package was late as well, right, Yeah, I
was so I.

Was so frustrated. I'm like, my packages are being lost
because he's eating them across my lawn.

I always wondered that when it says fragile, do we
think that the drivers really pay extra special attention.

Absolutely not. I would hope something. You're right, they could
do just toss.

What if he tossed it on the lawn and bounced
behind a bush and nobody ever found it.

I'm sure that's what happened. The landscaper will find it
in the spring and say, hey, was this yours.

I'm going to say I have not witnessed that. We
get a lot of deliveries at the house and they're
always great.

You know what else is weird that's going on with
online shopping though? You keep getting texts from different people.
I've got five different drivers claiming to have my package
like and and none of them ever shows up. And
they've given, you know, detailed instructions on when they're coming,
and the fact that they've got the item.

I just picked it up at such and such a place.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
I'm on my way on your way to wear because
you never came to me.

And you gotta be careful with those texts too, because
some of those scams. Yes, we'll never click the links
in in those techs.

I got a text from Feliciano the driver at like
one in the morning, and I'm like, I was fully
Siano's delivering now.

I am so lazy that I haven't deleted my other
like debit cards I have linked to my account. So
I have a couple link to my account, and I
ordered a bunch of things with this credit card that
or debit card that was expired that I forgot. So
when I went to go look at my Amazon order
a couple of days ago, then see that it wasn't
it was canceled, and I was like, what is going on?

And I ordered it with the wrong card.

So some of the stuff now it's not going to
be here till January.

You know one part that's really good though, and I
get to give them the shout out. The FedEx stores
that you go to to return something, they couldn't possibly
make it any easier. There's one right over here at
Station Landing. So Michelle will give me the package that's
getting sent back so that I can bring it to
Station Landing. But when you bring it in, they're very friendly,

very fast. They take your package. They will repack it
and label it and off and.

Goes yeah the system works great.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
Yeah, I mean, good luck getting your refund. But at
least the package is going.

Back to where return the item? Yes, and there's a
record of it. They give you a receipt.

Exactly how many items does your wife return?

Like I'm telling you, she spends half of a day
repacking stuff or saying, oh this is going back wrong size,
wrong color.

She also send food back at restaurants never, okay, never, Yeah,
you don't want to do that?

Yeah, no, never.

So I don't really have a bad story with shopping.
It was just kind of frustrated, in anxiety ridden. I
was able to buy the Vans K Pop Demon Hunters
for my daughter for Christmas, but I was on the
website for an hour, the website crashed, I was on
the app, and then finally I was able to get them.

So it gave me a lot of anxiety and hopefully
they'll be here by Christmas.

This is seldom from Ducksburry about the online shopping. I
think the main culprit for me is when I like
something on Instagram and go to buy it off of air,
and especially the link to shop that you cite. The
processes so many payments. Now once you go there, good
luck getting anybody in customer service. Even if you find
an email address, You're just not going to get anybody.

So I think the best thing, and this is what
people advise, is to go on a website, not just
a link from Instagram.

So I ordered three things from Shop yesterday through Instagram
and Facebook ads Christmas gifts.

Know the confirmation email. But the thing with social media
marketing now, it's like crazy, especially around the holiday season.
It was so many cool things. I saw three things
that I wanted that were cool for my life, and
it's easy. It's easy.

The other thing is like red flag is if they
say they're going to ship it to you and the
shippings for free, and they don't give you any other
option to ship or expedited shipping. That's a red flag
because then you have no idea how they're shipping it
and how long.

It's going to be.

They're going to choose the shipping that takes the long exactly.
That's a good WoT.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
Yeah, Like I never buy stuff like that now. It's
like I always want the option. If I want to
pay more to have it shipped overnight, I at least
want the option to do so.

Another pet peeve of mine with the online shopping is
you'll give them the money, they'll gladly take the money,
and they will take your order and confirm the fact
that they got your order, thank you. But then a
week later you'll get the notice it's been back ordered
for like six months.

Yeah. It's like I'm telling you, it's very stressful.

Just go in the store and get it. If it's
not on the shelf, it could be out back on
a shelf, or they'll just tell you it's out of stock.

Yeah, yesterday a package came. It was my gift for Lisa,
and I'm not gonna say what it was, but you
could tell it was for a female. It was not underwear,
just so, and my wife goes, hey, you want of
your Christmas gifts from me? Came I saw it. I'm
sorry in an accident, and I go, no, that was
for Lisa. The look she gave me.

Talking about did you get the eye roll? Oh right, okay,
I know I don't want this friend.

The worst I've had with online shopping is when they
deliver the item and it's not even in your own neighborhood,
and then you have to rely on a good Samaritan
or a good neighbor who's again not in your neighborhood,
but like two three streets away, and they co and
they deliver it to you. I had this happen with

the package. They randomly threw it around her pool and
yeah that sucked.

Yeah.

How many people do you think keep the gift that
wasn't meant for them?
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Oh? Yeah right, Sometimes you can see what it is, yeah,
and they might, but I will say that's what like
neighborhood Facebook groups are good for you know. In my
neighborhood Facebook group, people are always posting, Hey, this package
got delivered to my house. It was for you know,
this person. Wow, that's pretty good.

It's like a small village. It really is your little
neighborhood up there in North Country.
