Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, this is this is so cool, Lisa. We're about
to crown the grand prize winner. I can't even speak.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
We're gonna make somebody really happy.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
So the Gracy Abrams contest has been going on for
what a week and a half, maybe even two weeks.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
We've been bout a week.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Yeah, we're getting qualifiers. They send us a talk back
when they hear a Gracy Abrams song, and we've been
telling you the grand prize winner would be announced this
morning on the show, Lise exactly.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
So they get floor seats to the Boston show tonight.
They get floor seats for La and plus we're gonna
fly you out yet out there, so you get a
trip to LA for you and a friend.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
And the grand prize winner is Gianna from Malden And
this is so true. Come on, oh man, this was
by the way, this was Gianna's original talkback, and we've

(00:54):
got it right here.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
I would love the Gracy Abrams tickets. My sister, she's
going to be a junior in high school this year.
She's had a little bit of a rough time throughout
high school. So I would love these tickets so I
could take.

Speaker 6 (01:07):
Her and have a fun night with her and.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
Just let her know that she's worth having fun with.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Well, that's the talk back that won the grand prize,
and Gianna from Maldon is on the phone. Good morning, Gianna.

Speaker 7 (01:22):
Good morning. Thank you so much. I can't even believe it.
I'm just shaking right now. This is crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Okay, talk about why it's so great to your love
for Gracie Abrams.

Speaker 8 (01:34):
I really love her just because of how much my
sister really loves her, you know, and I think it'll
be so much fun to bring her. She's gonna lose
her mind when I tell her that we're going to
be on the floor tonight and then in La next
week or whenever the show is.

Speaker 7 (01:46):
I don't even know.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
This is crazy, Gianna. Are you suggesting your sister might
not be listening right now?

Speaker 7 (01:52):
Honestly, she's probably asleep. She probably has no idea.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
It doesn't seem fair. She should be with the rest
of us.

Speaker 7 (02:01):
I know she really should be. We'll work on that.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Keep in mind, the Los Angeles show that we're flying
you out to is like what August sixth, and so
that's like very soon. You have to start making plans
clean the schedule.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
Definitely, I'm gonna have to get off work. We'll figure
it out.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Okay, we'll do us a favor. Can you at least
wake your sister up and let her know that the
two of you are going to be on the floor
for Gracie Abrams tonight and then you're hopping a jet
to Los Angeles.

Speaker 8 (02:30):
I'm sure my mom, I'm sure my mom is jumping
up and down trying to get her up right now.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
All right, so it's a family affair. Most of the
family is listening, except for your sisters.

Speaker 7 (02:41):
Except for Isabella.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
It gets to go on the rebound.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Have Isabella leave us a talk back when she wakes up.

Speaker 7 (02:46):
I will definitely thank you guys so much.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
This is crazy, Gianni, you got a hold on producer
Riley's going to give you all the information you need.
This is a huge prize. So good work and congratulations.

Speaker 7 (02:59):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Wow, amazing on the floor tonight in Boston on Laura.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Now that's like being a Hollywood celebrity.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
It really is.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, yeah, I mean yeah, it's just a it's an
amazing product. So shout out to everybody that that you know,
participated left talkbacks.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yeah, they were all good. And Lisa Way Okay, we're back.
I almost choked myself with the headphones trying to put
them on, and I almost took an eye out. These
headphones can get dangerous once in a while. I'm just
saying they snap, right, Okay. So uh, Producer Riley is
in studio whether it's right now. She's very excited because

(03:37):
she's heading to Nashville on a girl's getaway.

Speaker 9 (03:39):
Yes, I'll be leaving tonight.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Oh, you leave tonight, Oh and extended weekend.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Love this for you first time.

Speaker 9 (03:48):
I went like super quick one time, but I didn't
explore anything, so kind of basically the first time.

Speaker 10 (03:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Well, if you're looking for recommendations, are on Lisa with there.
Just recently, I had.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
A girls trip for the Jenna Bushagger Book Festival, and
it was my first time to Nashville. We just had
the best time ever. There's live music everywhere. Like you
walk into a store and there's like live music or yeah,
it's amazing.

Speaker 9 (04:08):
And you bought cowboy boots.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah, you gotta buy cowboy boots.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Do you have cowgirl Can you say cowgirl boots or
is it always a Cowboy boot?

Speaker 9 (04:16):
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah, that's a good question. You'll have to look that up. Yeah,
you I go into the Post Malone bar though, right
that just opened.

Speaker 9 (04:22):
That was like the one thing that we put on
our list. Literally, the entire weekend is kind of just
up in the air. We'll do whatever, We'll jaunt around.
But in the group chat, we were like Post Malone Bar.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
And that's on Broadway, that's on the honky Tonk whatever
they call it the honky Tonk Highway or whatever.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Can you just walk right in or you need a
reservation or is there a line or.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Ill she'll find out this weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I'll report back.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Yeah, doesn't every country artist have a bar establishment?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah, it seems that.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Dean Dolly Parton, Yeah everybody.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Does you know who does too? Gavin de Graus, Yes,
I saw a beautiful one.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, there's so many to choose from.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Well, Gavin de Gra's been in the bar business for
a while. He opened one in New York City several
years ago.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Kid Rock has one.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Oh, that'd be a cool bar, Kid Rock.

Speaker 9 (05:06):
We'll have to go to all of them. Maybe post
Malone will be there, imagine, you never know.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I'm guessing if he's there, then you're gonna need to
get in line, but giddy up.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Oh, it's so much fun. Are you staying with your
friend or are you staying at a hotel?

Speaker 9 (05:21):
We're saying in her apartment. The four of us all
cramped into one yearl's small part.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
You have a tendency to go away on these trips. Yeah,
with people in small rooms. You ever notice that?

Speaker 9 (05:32):
Okay, Well, if I don't have to pay for a hotel,
it's fine with me.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Also be a good point, well nobody pays. It wouldn't
hurt you to leave a little something on the way
out for your friend that owns the apartment.

Speaker 9 (05:44):
I'll tip my friend.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
I'll just take to dinner.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
We'll get a little something nice, stock to refrigerate or
something with beer.

Speaker 9 (05:51):
You're gonna slip me a hondo bill.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I'll give you a little walking around money for nashvillepreciate it.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
We wait. Okay, so you're going to post belone any
other plans there? Just like just free balling it.

Speaker 9 (06:06):
Literally, we're gonna spend every single night on Broadway just
walking around trying to hear all the live music going
into bars. That's literally the only thing on the docket.
There's nothing that we have planned. I need recommendations from people.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Yeah, you can send us talkbacks. If you've been to
Nashville a lot, you want to recommend anything for Riley,
I meant least, we'll definitely give you a list. But yeah,
we're always open to talkbacks and suggestions.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
The twelve thirty Club has a really fun roof deck
with live music and DJs.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
O Guy was really really nice.

Speaker 6 (06:37):
Check it out.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Just don't throw anything off the roof. Yeah, there seems
to be a big thing down there in Nashville.

Speaker 9 (06:43):
I don't think I'll get forgiven the way that Morgan.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
So yeah, yeah, you got to give you up girl.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yeah, have a good weekend, have a fun time this weekend.

Speaker 11 (06:53):
And you know what they say, save a horse and
ride a cowboy.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
I'm sorry, I apologize for my friend.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
In the top. That is classic. I love our talkback
ride at Cowboy, Riley.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
You're off tomorrow, You're off Monday, So Tuesday we'll find
out how it went all right? All right?

My birthday every day.

Speaker 6 (08:22):
Is well, happy birthday. I struggle with her because I
do like her acting. I have enough great movie She's
had some great movies. It's just the cause playing at
the singer that kind of gets to me.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Let her be right, I know, let's just let jay
Lo I feel.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Bad, j Lo. What do you have to say to Whinny?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Now the entertainment Update with a Billy Costa.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, Gracie Abrams had the first of her two shows
in the TV Garden right here in Boston last night,
and she was thrilled to take the stage in Boston.

Speaker 12 (08:53):
Is you know, like one of my favorite cities in
the world period. Does feel like home here, not just
because of the New England family that I have, but
because of the fact that every show we've played in
your city, you've showed up like this, regardless.

Speaker 7 (09:11):
Of the film was two hundred.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Thanks. It's ridiculous.

Speaker 7 (09:16):
So I just love you in any way.

Speaker 12 (09:18):
I hope you don't relate to this next song.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
It's dead.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
Doesn't every artist say like Boston is their best say.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah, oh my god. I was gonna say the same thing,
but somehow when they're in Boston, I believe it.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Thomas Ratchers said it, he was just here this past weekend.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
Yeah yeah, yeah, Well, the Jones trying to say it
all the time because they used to do like legit
like clubs here when they were like fifteen because they
lived in New York, so that was a quick drive.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Everyone says that pittsburgha California.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
I don't. I still like to believe they mean it,
especially when they do Fenway Park that is.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
A magical place where Thomas rat was.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, but also on stage last night, Gracie read a
special letter to fans.

Speaker 12 (10:06):
This is the last leg of the Secret of Us tour,
between touring my last few EPs and albums, the amazing
festivals and opening for the brilliant Olivia for our fever.

Speaker 7 (10:18):
She is Taylor.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
That's very wild.

Speaker 12 (10:23):
They're lucky. Four years on the road, we are in
the home stretch now and I just want to pause
for a moment to let you know that we couldnt
be happier or more grateful to be here with all
of these.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Freight Did Gracie Abrams open for Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo
and Taylor Swift?

Speaker 2 (10:41):
I know Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
I don't know about Billy Eilish.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
I thought she just said it.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
She said Olivia and Taylor. That's all I heard.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
But maybe she.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Said Billy too.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Wow, just looking through all the artists that talk about
Boston and Sharon.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
Jason, Now Sharon has the Irish connection.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Yeah, it's some funny and none of the none of
them actually live here.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
It sounds so good. Like Drula loves the clam chowder.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Man, I'm not going to lie to you. The best
clam chowder in the world.

Speaker 13 (11:10):
The only place you get the best, best best clam
chowder is in Boston.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Charlie Poos likes to Cologne loves Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Right, Well, he went to school here, he spent some
time here.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
He walked the walk, he actually lived on these Boston streets.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
And just the other night you said, at least Thomas
Rhett was talking about all the places he wants to
go here, like Neptwin Oaster.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Never can get a reser.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
I love Boston.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Come on, Boston. Who anyway, Chap, Gracie Abrams is back
on Say Gracie back on stage in Boston tonight. We
did have a grand prize winner. We did that at
a ten this morning and the grand prize winner is

(11:54):
Gianna for Maldon. So she's going to be on the
floor for Gracie Abrams tonight, and in a couple of weeks,
she and her guest will fly to Los Angeles and
sit on the floor for Gracie and Los Angeles, which
is huge. Meantime, Chapel Rohan's new song comes out next Friday,
August first. It's called Subway and where it Is. She's
been shooting the music video for that song in and

(12:17):
out of New York City.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
But if she doesn't start to pop ups and singing
it live in the subway next week, she's doing it wrong.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Some busking.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
Yeah, she needs to me busking in the subway with Fallon. Yes,
yes she does.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Oh, that'd be cool.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
It would be very cool.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Hey, there is a breaking news on the hit show Wednesday.
I know you watch it least I think you're the
only one of us that does watch it.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Well, my son Riley pulled me in. I'm glad he did.
I loved it.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
So anyway, Season two premieres August sixth. We knew that
part one, Part two comes out September three, and yesterday
they already greenlighted a season three before season two even begins.
That's what I call a hit.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
I gotta get on this. I gotta get my son
off Stranger Things. He just watches it over and over again.
We need a new show.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Yeah, this is it. It's good, it's it's not that scary.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Nightmare is your thing?

Speaker 2 (13:05):
No, not at all?

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Okay, Okay, Happy Gilmour too arrives on Netflix tomorrow. And
jelly Rolling Kevin James apparently making a country music movie together.
Jelly Roll for the past week or so has been
hosting The Kimmel Show, which I think is very cool,
and he had Kevin James on last night.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
You have been prepping for a film.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
I know you're excited about.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
You are coming into the country music space and you're
going to shoot a country music film.

Speaker 13 (13:30):
It's going to be a crazy one. And you know
how crazy it is because my man is doing it
with me. You're going to be my sis.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
There's no way I would meet Kevin James do it
at music movie. Not be hard to get cut from
music movies.

Speaker 13 (13:43):
So we we have to we have to get me
to be able to look like I know what I'm
doing right, and it's a journey.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Kevin James pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Stuff loves Boston. Last year I did the Jimmy fun
Hit Athon, Yes right, and he was the celebrity guest.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
He did Mall cop right, Green Tree, Burlington.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
And then didn't he do the zoo thing at the
Franklin Park Zoo. Didn't he film something there too? Is
the zoo keeper?

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Right?

Speaker 6 (14:12):
And then here comes the boom he did in Quinsy.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Right, and then he did the thing with Adam Sandler.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
So he really loves boss.

Speaker 6 (14:21):
Did you get to meet him when he did it?
Was he nice?

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Very nice? Yeah? He was with one of the Wallbergs.
It's his boy. I think it was jim Jimbo Jimbo.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Yeah, Jimbo still works with Donnie and with Mark.

Speaker 9 (14:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
He he was walking around with Kevin just tagging along.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
Wow, Jimbo's just been tagging along for a long time.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
You can't sorry.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
He set me up. He set me up. I'm sorry
he set me up.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Oh my god. You know I'm exchanging text right now
with Donnie Wahlberg. We can't make any.

Speaker 6 (14:55):
I was insulted. I would tag along with anything, doing
a whole show. Tag along with jim tag along, that's
a great tagle.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
When he wants to be clear, she will tag along
anywhere with anyone.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
You don't forget Paul, one of the best chefs in
the region. Anyway, the new season of Dexter is streaming
on Paramount Plus. Justin you're watching this show.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Right, Oh, of course, Yeah, this is a good show.
You should start from the beginning. I don't know why
Billy was starting now. If you've ever watched Dexter, it's
been on for a long time, So start from the beginning.
But the new season I'm watching three EPs are out
the fourth this weekend, and it's really good because you
thought he might have died at the end last season,
but he didn't ruined it. For me, well, it's called resurrection.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
I had to stop watching like ten minutes in because
I'm like, what's going on? Like I don't understand, but
now I get it.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Yeah, you know who's in it, Jim.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
Thank you, Jim. Patriots training camp yesterday, Drake May impressed
with the fan turned.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Out, went up.

Speaker 14 (16:00):
You know, I wish I could sign everybody. I think
that's what's what makes the league gell these fans, you know,
coming out here and coming out here on whatever day
it is Wednesday we're in camp. Who knows the days,
but coming out here and you know, sporting US and
you know, being here for us in the hot and
the heat, and I think that still makes it go.
So it's fun to get here.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
To make plays.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Stefan Diggs funny video. He was chasing a little dog around.
It was dog adoption a day out of Gillette yesterday,
but this was his first session.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Glad to be excited about.

Speaker 6 (16:27):
I'm just happy to account of me back playing football.

Speaker 10 (16:28):
You know.

Speaker 14 (16:29):
It's been a kind of a long all season for me,
eight months out, so I was eager to get back
out there, get it back around the guys, and it's
been pretty fun.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Yeah, I'd like to see him adopt the dog lace I.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
Do, and he should be. It would be the dog
that he was chasing around. Yes, that'd be a good story.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
It was a tiny little dog. Yep, it was like
he was chasing. You ever chase the chickens over there
at the house.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
All the time all my wife does.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
It's a good workout, the rocky thing.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Yeah, that's what he did to train. Yeah, she only
lets one out. Gerty Girty is the only one that listens.
That's her the favorite chicken. The other one's run away.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Yeah, so that's the idea. You want them to run
away so you can chase them.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
No, it's not that she has like a connection to
one of them.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Oh, don't get me. There was a moment this past
weekend where I looked over and she was sitting next
to the coop and she had one chicken on her
shoulder and the other one on the chair next to her,
and I thought, this is who I married.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
Do we know the life expectancy if chickens are not
killed to be eaten?

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I don't.

Speaker 6 (17:23):
I gotta look this up because they could be there
for a long time.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
I don't know. But I saw out of one of
them the other day, and then the other chickens came
and they ate the egg.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Oh okay. You know how people talk about the cat
ladies that have like twenty seven cats and that she's
gonna end up being the chicken lady in New Hampshire.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
She already is.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
Wow. If they're well cared for backyard chickens, they can
live from to like ten years, oh boy.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
And they're well cared.

Speaker 6 (17:48):
For well, yep, it varies from five to ten years.
But if they're well cared for, you looking at least eight.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Thank you. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
By the way, we're talking about dog adoption. Last night
Ellen and I went to a restaurant. I posted it
on Instagram, I can't wait to go at Assembly Rolls
Salt and Stone, and I had remembered seeing it one
day when I was walking by that they have an
outdoor patio just for people who want to go to
dinner with their dogs. And we tried it last night.

(18:17):
Not only is it an outdoor patio just for you
and your dog, but they have a dog menu and
the menu was pretty extensive for the dogs.

Speaker 6 (18:26):
I looked at it, I can't wait to say, Coda.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Check it out, Salt and Stone. It's right up the
street and Assembly Rots a hot dog lover's dad.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
We can't bring Titus.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Why not?

Speaker 6 (18:40):
Because he's a little you.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Know, he was fine there. Occasionally he's a nipper. He
nips Justin because Justin's the load.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Of the just but he has people, but he doesn't
do it to other dogs.

Speaker 5 (18:49):
Right.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
No, he reads masculinity.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
My dog's very masculine, so it won't work.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Yeah, because he wants to be the package female. Well,
Justinus in and he's dripping with testoster.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
I'm sorry, I can't. I can't change whoe I am.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
But you'll become the pack leader.

Speaker 6 (19:06):
Justin last time I tyson nit my face and Billy
Toy was a love test.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
You know what, Titus last night he was eating good.
He's a good boy.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
He's a very good boy. We're brought to you by
the ninety nine Restaurants. Visit the ninety nine the day
after the Red Sox when they won last night nine
to eight over the Phillies. You get a free kids
meal with every adult Entrey purchase the ninety nine restaurant,
the official family restaurant of your Boston Red Sox, and
there you go.

Speaker 7 (19:37):
Chim is very inspiring for that. I think we're quite grateful.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
From the Planet Fitness Kids one o eight Studios.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning on.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Okay, really big local story going on. Concession workers are
going to go out on strike at noon tomorrow, and
I'm talking about the concession worker at Fenway Park as
well as MGM Music call. What they want is a
better contract and certainly better working conditions here they are

(20:09):
folks at the park are paid poverty wages.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Many people who start at the park have to make
a minimum wage to work their way.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Up to eighteen dollars in change that is not acceptable.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
At America's ballpark.

Speaker 14 (20:21):
There used to be four beer sellers at one particular stand.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Now there is one person watching over four registers, four
of these machines.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
None of us want to walk out, but we all
want good wages and we all want to preserve the
jobs that we have had.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Now. The timing of this strike could not be worse
for Fenway Park and for MGM, because well, the Dodgers
come into town tomorrow for a weekend series, easily the
biggest weekend series at Fenway Park ever, possibly because the
Dodgers bring with them shoey Otani, the hottest player in baseball.

(20:58):
The last five games, he has had home runs in
every single one, including last nights fly ball center field
headed for the Saints, reaching them again fifth consecutive game
of the show. Hey Home Roun The show, Hey Show
is coming to Boston tomorrow for the weekend series. And

(21:20):
don't forget our old buddy, Mookie Betts is with the Dodgers,
so he'll be backing down. He loves Boston.

Speaker 15 (21:26):
I mean, I have a lot of memories in Boston. Obviously,
I'd say the most fun is the World Series. But
you know from the debuts to you know, just ins
and outs of every day being around Boston. I have
so many memories and so you know, that was a
great chapter in my life for sure.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Yeah. And the timing of this strike again couldn't be
more targeted on this series out at Fenway Park. But
also the fact that Riley Green Lisa Donovan is at
MGM tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Right, So there's a lot going on down at Fenway,
and the work are potentially striking or asking people not
to buy stuff at the ball park or at MGM
if this does happen, and we did check, and you
can bring a sixteen outs or less water closed up
plastic water bottle or one that you fill up on
your own.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Yeah, I gotta give a shout out to because I'm going, Yeah,
I'm going Saturday night with my son. It's a big deal.
Where'd you get the tickets as a big game from
somebody I know named Bill? Thank you Bill. So my
son's a huge Otani fan, So this is a big
deal for us. So the strike couldn't come at a
worse time, you know what I mean?

Speaker 11 (22:32):
Justin my boy, only you and your luck World champion
Dodges at Fenway Brock for the biggest weekend of the summer.
Your son's looking forward to it, and the concession stand
workers are on strike. I can't wait to listen to
Monday's show to hear about the altercation.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
You get into. Well, well, I gotta give a shout
out to Jimmy Baseball's instagram dm me. You can bring,
like you said, any kind of drink that's covered, not opened,
So we can bring waters, and we'll buy some candy.
We'll go to dinner, dinner first and I'll buy some
candy snacks, put them in my pocket.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Because if you get in line at the concessions, people
are going to.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Be up in Yeah, they're gonna tacolate.

Speaker 10 (23:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
I can't be a scab. I can't do that. But
I also need to make sure my son has water.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
It's gonna be hot.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Yeah, very important. And let's face it, you have a
very short fuse, so if people are up in your grill,
this could be turned into an incident.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
We don't want that to have now. We don't for
the old days. Very peaceful now.

Speaker 6 (23:31):
And I support the workers, you know, Good Morney morning crew.

Speaker 16 (23:34):
So justin I'm sitting here thinking like, how can you
still support the strike, but still get able some food.
And this came across my mind, so just the thought
maybe you could get his hot dog, pay for it
and then give them and kind of make it loud
for everyone to hear, and just say this is an
extra twenty and this is the minimum. You guys should

(23:56):
get paid an hour and then thank them and walk away.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
But giving to the scabs.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Yeah, yeah, if you're gonna stick with my idea on this.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
I think you have a good idea.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah. By the way, this could be a stupid question.
Does the strike include the concessions outside the park?

Speaker 6 (24:12):
No, because those are the venders that do it on
their own course.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
The sausage guy people like that, although it'd be weird
for them to still be doing it because they're are
you kidding me?

Speaker 6 (24:22):
They're gonna get so many more people on the outside
that want to get before they go in.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Yeah, the sausage kings.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
The sausage is all made in house. They've got four
guys their only job. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Wait, so that's another dilumma. Wait can I get a
frank outside?

Speaker 1 (24:38):
That's what I mean?

Speaker 10 (24:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Absolutely, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (24:40):
Those are small business owners and we support small businesses.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
If they might be supporting the concession.

Speaker 6 (24:45):
Kidding me, they're gonna be like, give it to me,
don't give it to the park.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
So that's it. Get your dog, your sausage and pepper.
Get it all outside the park.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Bring the water bottles in. I'll have plenty of candy
and snacks. My son loves candy. Who doesn't.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Yeah, you know what, you know what you have to
do on outside the ballpark? You have to have able
to play catch with a guy on stilts.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Oh, that's my most favorite part of the whole thing.
A guy on stilts like that, to this day just
makes me so.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Opp I met that guy actually had assembly row. He
was down there for an event that I hosted.

Speaker 6 (25:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Every time to go to Fenway, he shouts out, hey, Billy,
you want to play some catch? And I do with
him everything. And there's a band on yaky Way tour Yeah,
yaki Way.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Yeah. Listen, we support the workers. They need to be paid.
I know AI is you know it's coming up. It's
getting you know, crazier and crazier.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Machines to be paid.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
They do some of these people.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
I work there for decades.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah, you know, yeah.

Speaker 6 (25:40):
If I want, I would have a really hard time
at getting a frank.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
So you wouldn't bring your own water.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
Well water, but no family frank at family. That's hard.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Well, you can get it outside the park, but it's
not the same.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
We think you can.

Speaker 6 (25:53):
No, you can, but it's just a different it's just
a different dog. It's very different dog. There's something about
it special.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
And then just go for a sauce and you do what.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
There are a lot of restaurants park intern standard, you know.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Yeah, Lisa loves the sausage and I just want a
Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
In the morning, it's time for talkback Leftover's Mama Han.

Speaker 17 (26:18):
Hey, morning crew. It's Becca listening from Brooklyn, New York,
laying in bed listening to you guys. One day past
my due date with my second baby. So I'm hoping
you guys and your good vibes can put me into
labor either today or tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Thank you, Lisa, you got some good vibes, a lot
of good vibes. I've been through it twice. You just
want that baby out.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Your time is gonna come.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Well, it's gonna come.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
And you'll know it when it's time.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
I was watching this morning Frankie v who's won half
of the v Bros and Gianna on in the afternoons
here on Kiss. He is having a child any day now,
and he put up a video of him and his
wife dancing.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
I had to try and get things going to the labor.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
They told me to bounce on one of those like
rubber like exercise balls.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
I've heard that tip.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Yeah, it didn't help.

Speaker 6 (27:08):
I've heard that. You know, other things induced it too.

Speaker 15 (27:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
Yeah, you try everything, like even spicy food or.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
I've heard spicy food.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
I remember I think when he met meant something.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
Yeah, that's why I said that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, is
that true? Yeah, I mean I don't it may work
for somebody.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
I wish I knew that.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Yeah. I remember when my first time, Chris was being born,
his his we went out to dinner late in the
pregnancy to fancy French restaurant and ended up going directly
to the hospital. She went into labor in the restaurant.
So French food, French food, fancy French food.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
So certain types of food can connect.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
They say that, Yeah, spicy is one of them.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
They suggest definitely not bouncing on the ball.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
Okay, well you don't do that for some other reason, Yeah,
on the exercise.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Well, Becka, once the baby comes, make sure you leave
us a talk back and give us an date.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
Hi, it's private, anonymous. Justin, I just saw that the
ms p c A has a.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Ton of al pacas that need to be adopted.

Speaker 16 (28:10):
And I can't think anybody more perfect.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
And I'm stopping that talkback right there. I do not
need an al paca.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
These are great animals to have in the yell.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
You can make like sweaters and you sell them at
the farm stand.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Justin, No, I'm very serious about this. My wife's going
through a mid life crisis.

Speaker 6 (28:28):
I already texted your wife like three days ago.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Please don't we live.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
I know I did. I texted her. I texted your
wife like last week telling her about the pacas. She said,
she's gonna look into it.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
You know, there's an alpaca farm on the I'm gonna
tell Jen about It's gonna spend a couple of hours
there hanging with you. I think you get a goat first,
and then the alpaca.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
I sent her a text on Monday with the screenshot
of the apoca farm and then she I think it's
time to add al paka and she said, yes.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Why why are you texting my wife because I have
her number?

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Please don't she does it with my wife. Oh my god,
I did text.

Speaker 6 (29:05):
I texted on Monday.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Oh god, I've got the perfect plan for you, justin
you ready for this. You know that neighbor right next
door that you hate?

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Yeah, they hate me.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Okay, So I suggest you buy their property. Okay, knock
down the wall that you put up between you, knock
down the house and extend the yard, and you've got
a legitimate farm.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
As paid back.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Then you get an now paka, You get a goat,
You get a couple of goats.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
Hang out is an now paka a lama?

Speaker 6 (29:33):
That's the same, different their cousins.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
It looks similar though.

Speaker 9 (29:36):
Ye.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
Pack is where you get all the hair you get like.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
The beautiful young, like where you can have scarves.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
And I have a couple of sweater No, this is
actually could could come to fruition. She does, We can't
get a goat.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
I think farm life is amazing and I think that
this could be something in your future.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Definitely.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
The chickens are fine, and we have seven chickens. It's fine.
That's good enough for me.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
No, she's she's expanding.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
Yeah, she wants to expand. I can tell she's working
her way up.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Well, the goat will live in the house.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
No, no, no, we can't get a goat. I forget why.
They're very active. Oh no, the fence they jump. They
can jump, So we'd have to get a fence and
it has to be tall enough. It's a big investment. Okay, Yeah,
be careful.

Speaker 6 (30:18):
Doesn't mean it's not in your future. At some point.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Can you delete that number from your phone? Please? That's
my girl wife.

Speaker 6 (30:25):
That's my girl kids run away.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
So we've done been doing the talkback for Gracy contest
on the talkback Mike on the iHeart apps. Every time
you hear Gracy Abrams, you leave us a talk back
and tell us why you want to be at the show.
We gave away tickets all week long. A grand prize
winner was picked this morning. It was Gianna, who submitted
for her young sister who is a huge Gracie fan.
She was sleeping when the grand prize was announced. We

(30:54):
asked her mom to wake her up and she did.

Speaker 5 (30:57):
Hi, this is Isabella from all that My mom just
keeping into my room.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
I could have thought the house blog fire.

Speaker 6 (31:03):
I can't believe this. I'm so excited to see Gracy
Apris with my sister in LA.

Speaker 7 (31:06):
This is amazing.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
Thank you, so so, so so much.

Speaker 7 (31:09):
I love kiss Monoy.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Thank you very much. So She'll be on the floor
for Gracie tonight and then in a couple of weeks
jump on a plane head to LA.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
Amazing, amazing contest.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
I enjoyed that one, yeah, very much so, And thank
you to everybody for listening. Thank you for participating and
using the talk back feature. It's kind of a new
way that we do contests now sometimes and maybe we'll
do it again, who knows. Also, this morning, we talked
about Justin Timberlake mailing it in at his tour in Europe.
They're calling at the karaoke tour. He's basically not singing,
saying one or two words and letting the crowd sing

(31:41):
his songs.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Morning Crow.

Speaker 18 (31:43):
Question about Justin what is he doing while the crowd
is singing? Is he walking back and forth? Is he
holding the mic? Is he lying down?

Speaker 5 (31:52):
Like?

Speaker 18 (31:52):
What's he doing on stage?

Speaker 14 (31:54):
Well?

Speaker 18 (31:55):
The whole place is singing around him. Thanks, love you guys.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Sort of walking around. In one he has a hoodie
on with a hood up clapping.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Yeah, he's doing the hype man thing.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
But there's one where he literally puts the mic down.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
Yeah that is the Millionaires again.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
At least he didn't do it. Justin bieber were Justin
laid down.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Every to get to the bottom of it, though. What
exactly is going on and why are people allowing him
to do this?

Speaker 3 (32:25):
I don't know. I guess we'll find out. But Billy
was the only one of us that supported this. You
saw no issues with it, which was a little strange.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Well, I like Justin and I think there's always a
reason for why he does something.

Speaker 18 (32:35):
Yeah, Justin Timberlake is nothing but a box, and Billy
wants that box.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Okay, all right, really Justin, it's what's in the box?

Speaker 3 (32:53):
I guess, I guess.

Speaker 18 (32:55):
So.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Producer Riley is head of the Nashville this weekend for
a girl's tripty This rally helps out behind the scenes.
But yeah, she's heading to Nashville for the first time.
She can go to the Post Malone Bar and live
her best life.

Speaker 17 (33:06):
To live through views, So please go to Morgan Wallin's
Bar and take lots of pictures.

Speaker 6 (33:14):
Enjoy yourself, girl.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Yeah yeah. Nashville is one of this places that it
seems like it's mandatory that you're drunk.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Well, it's easy to do.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Walk up and down and go in and out and.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Really yeah, there's so many bars.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
No, it's just that's all you do.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Every country artist has a bar.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
I feel like, oh god, yeah yeah, and you know
it's a great place to meet a cowboy, that's.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
Right, yeh yee ha. So had a great time, producer Riley.
We'll get an update when she comes back next week.
And yeah, yeah, it's been a good show. A lot
of great content that we covered. Billy was on one,
of course, Good.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Morning, it's the mayor.

Speaker 10 (33:51):
I have to put this under the gayest thing I've
heard today, and it always comes from Billy Costa. Justin
is thing with testosterone. That's the gayest thing I'll hear
all day.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Let's celebrate the mighty one. Okay, we don't do that enough.
Here he comes right now.
