We had the jingle Ball announcement. We'll get to that
in a couple of minutes. But we also had a
shocking development in the secret sound. We thought it was
over because the v Bros had a winner yesterday and
we said, okay, that's it, and then the annoying judge
came walking in the studio unannounced this morning Judge Tony
and handed me an envelope, and it turns out we

(00:29):
had leftover money.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
We have one singular chance.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
At winning the rest of the money, which means we
have one sound. And here it is all right, we're
gonna need caller twenty five. I think, for once in
my life, I know what it is.

the current jackpot?

gave away in two days over eleven thousand dollars and
then adding the other money that we gave away throughout
the whole secret sound contest, It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:26):

Good morning. Now Leanna, before you say another word, I

(04:08):
don't think we have to wish you luck in this
case because I think, like a lot of other people
right now, you probably know the sound. But we will
play it one more time in here.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
It is.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Okay, Leanne for four thousand to eight hundred and sixteen

Speaker 5 (04:40):
This is the secret sound let's it go? Leanna paying attention?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Whoa, thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Let me ask you something, Leanna, how long ago did
you know that it wasn't a paper cutter?

Speaker 1 (04:57):
And now you know? My goodness? Oh oh, she's crying.

Speaker 3 (05:01):

to make sure that I wasn't crazy that it was
a paper cutter. And then all of us called in
this morning and thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Okay, Leanna, I want you to do us a big favor. Okay,
how many kids you got.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
In the car?

Speaker 8 (05:29):
I have three of them?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Okay, on three. I want you to turn around and
yell these words.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Hey kids, we have walking around money.

Speaker 8 (05:40):
One two, three, Hey kids, we have walking around money.

Speaker 1 (05:45):

pick up more than four thousand dollars, wow, close to
five thousand. Great job, Leanna, Thanks for.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Amazing and thank you to all of our listeners that
played along this whole time. Yeah, we gave away a
lot of money. A lot of people tried, they were
playing with their families and their co workers. It's a
super fun game, so we just got to give a
shout out to all of you. We have just as
much fun as you.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
And a shout out to our judge, Tony, who can
now get some sleep in the morning.

You never know you might get in one accident. You
need a lawyer.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
That's our guy. That's way there, you go, perfect, Lisa.

Speaker 6 (06:34):
Now the entertainment update with a Billy Cobsta one away.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Before we get to the entertainment, we wrapped up secret sound.
It was a surprise round on the show this morning.
We thought it was over when the v Bros had
a winner yesterday, but the judge came in this morning
and gave us almost five thousand dollars to give away
one shot for one winner and Lisa.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
We got a winner, Leanna.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
We did, and it was life changing.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
She's a mother of three.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I talked to her in the car after we went
off the air, and it was just what we like.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
To call the perfect winner.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
I mean you can hear the emotion in her voice
when she won. This is it's life changing for Leanna.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Okay, Leanne for four thousand to eight hundred and sixteen
dollars for emptying the bank on secret sound.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Please tell us the secret sound?

Speaker 10 (07:26):
That a paper cutter.

Speaker 9 (07:27):
Oh my god, Judge, is it a paper cutter?

Speaker 5 (07:30):
This is the secret sound? Lets it go. Leanna paying attention.

Speaker 11 (07:37):
She was, I am in my car cuting, bawling my
eyes out. What an end to the secret sound contest.
Congratulations Leanna, and you're walking around money.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah. We get on the phone with Leanna after and
she was so emotional. She was telling me her story,
single mom's, single income, three kids.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
I mean, this makes a big difference. On eight hundred dollars,
it's a huge.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
Some people you might think that's not life changing money,
or you know, it's a good amount of money, but
for others that are struggling, like Leanna is a single mother. Yeah,
and the fact that Bill left the studio and went
into another studio and talked to her in real time.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
I felt like I had to.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I don't know, because I knew Roddy was on the
phone where her congratulating, and I said, God, what a
great win for Leanna and her kids and they were
in the car.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Yeah, it was just a feel good moment. What a
way to wrap up Secret Sound. But some people are
glad it's over. The thing is nerve wracking.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
This whole game. I'm glad it's over. Stresses me out.
I have ached to.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
My handshake, I get help perportations because it's actually ringing.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
And then all of a sudden it goes through the
rapid beeping.

Speaker 11 (08:40):
Signal of death, the busy rapping rapid signal.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
I'm going to go home for the day.

Speaker 10 (08:46):
I just can't.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Yeah, it's a stressful game, but a fun game. And
a big shout out to Injury Money, our partner and
sponsor for this entire Secret Sound contest.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Thank you, fucker has him. Yeah, well, you know what
else came up? There's more. You know what else we did?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
We announced jingle Ball twenty twenty five. Okay, justin tickets.
How do we get the tickets. Buddy's Good Day Morning.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Capital one cardholder pre sale ten am Tuesday, Kiss oneawait
dot com. So if you have a Capital one card,
you get the first shot at tickets and they go,
very show.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
That is quite a show.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
It's a big show. Is it's a big show. Sean
Paul is coming back here. He was here two years ago,
remember great story. So we had him backstage with Billy
and he starts talking and he starts talking about a
dub plate, and I could see Billy looking at me
like He's like, what what is that? And so finally
he goes, Sean, I gotta stop you right there. What's

(09:41):
a dub plate? And the dub plate is essentially like
a freestyle that someone like him does. It's like his signature, yeah,
where he freestyles things off the top of his head,
usually for DJ's or radio stations and something. Billy's like,
can you do one for me? And he did on
the spot.

Speaker 12 (09:56):
Dina my Yo, Dina mighty gell and said, then we'll
want to play Dina my dear, Dyna my dat niggers
de ma luid, I know my day, Dyna my duo
sign up.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
But I'm meeting them. No, so cool.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
And don't forget it was that year that he came
last minute.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
He saved us. Somebody had canceled and we flew him
in last minute. He was shopping for produce in Jamaica,
in Jamaica on the streets and like just we sent
them a jetty came in and saved us.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
He was great.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
So Ed Sharon is the headliner, and don't forget that.
The TD Garden jingle Ball twenty twelve was the first
arena show that Ed Sharon ever did. So it's like
a homecoming from you.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, we've got ourselves a celebration going on backstage here
at jingle Ball twenty twelve. First of all, I'm here
with Ed Shearon and my congratulations Grammy nomination last night.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Listen?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Good stuff?

Speaker 1 (10:55):
So are you enjoying this tour here?

Speaker 5 (10:57):
I'm loving it. Yeah.

Speaker 13 (10:58):
I've never played tenies like this, and in America, you know,
I did. I did this the Snow Patrol Tour, which
is all theaters, and I did my own headline so
which was all theaters as well. And I've never really
kind of delved into this amazing ice hockey kind of
places and yeah, it's it's it's great. I'm having a
kids on.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
How cool is that? Yeah, it'd only done theaters in America.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
I still remember him backstage at that show. Oh yeah,
he was just sort of laying down, sleeping.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
He was a speaker hungover, I believe. Oh I remember
we got up and he performed.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yeah yeah, and like I get so excited, say Grammy
nomination last night, and he's so moderate, He's like, yeah,
that's good.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Yeah, And you have to remember, like the Ed Sharon
is a good example, right, Ed Sharon started coming to
jingle Balls and then he blew up. So when you
have a jingle Ball lineup like this, obviously you have
your big stars, you have your Ed Sharon, you have
Sean Paul, and you got to have the newer artists
who one day are going to be like an ad
Sharon Olivia. Dean's a good example. Yeah, very much is
so addictous.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
It's called I Need.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
And then you got Miles Smith, who on announced day
that he's coming coming to jingle Ball, dropped a new song.
It's called Stay. It's really good. But the cool part is,
how about this for stories? He had Ed Shearon introduce
the song.

Speaker 7 (12:21):
So myate Miles as a new single that is coming out.
Please just be nice to him. He's gonna play it.
Just just be nice, be nice in the comments.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
And let me tell you it's a banger. I'm gonna
play this, and just close your eyes and imagine you
at jingle Ball December fourteenth, singing along.

Speaker 14 (12:38):
You want to sing my head, my head.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
And the deal is Miles Smith and it Charon are
legitimate friends and they're both going to be doing jingle
There could be some special magical moments.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
And Miles is opening for some of Edge's stadium shows
next year. So Ed is doing Jillette next September. But
that's a year from actually a year from today, I believe.

Speaker 8 (13:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yeah, but we get him first, and he was in
Boston just recently. He loves coming here, so he's gonna
have some stories to share when he comes back.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Remember we went to Ipswich and he did a music
video and they yeah, it's a restaurant for twenty four hours.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
He was here on Saint Patrick's Day. He just rolled
up into a bar and did a live performance. It's
it's really cool. And then don't forget Zara Lawson too,
love her. Zara Lawson. She has that song Crushed, which
is really good. But her new album is out today.
Another song I like on that album is called blue Moon.
This is definitely a Lisa song.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Earlier, something like beautiful underneath this there we go.

Speaker 15 (14:00):
Yeah, guy under the stars, Baby, first you kiss and
then when the moment comes, your dance under the stars.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Oh Man, an amazing lineup.

Speaker 5 (14:28):

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Bring the whole family, bring the whole neighborhood, bring them all.
And by the way, Sean Mendes has a history with
jingle Ball. And Sean was back in Boston last night
he did stitches.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
We got a clip.

Yeah, we're back. What an incredible show this morning.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
We announced the jingle Ball lineup earlier this morning.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Quickly Lisa was in the lineup.

Speaker 6 (15:36):
All right, starring ed Sharon Miles Smith, Zara Larson, Sean Paul,
raven Linee, Olivia Dean, Leave, Molly, and a special sing
along moment from k pok K Pop demon Hunters.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Oh a huge lineup. He's Sharon the headline or raven Linee.
We just played her that song is so hot, so hot,
And uh, you know who's definitely coming in for jingle
Ball twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
That's our pal Whennie Hey, Whinny, Oh, I gotta pay tickets.

I just have him right here. Whinny holding.

Speaker 4 (16:09):

Speaker 1 (16:15):

Whinny Hi you okay, what the hell? Okay, your voice
sounds really weird.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Ye are? Yeah, Olivia, Dean can't be the man and me.
Please don't do that to us.

Speaker 10 (17:19):
It's actually low the United Nations. We have Jamaica coming,
we have Sweeting coming, we have Iceland coming. Like this
is exciting.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Just don't sing, okay because we're trying to sell tickets
to the show.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
Just give me the life.

Speaker 4 (17:34):

definitely turned the corner. My face is slightly swollen, but
it's almost back to its original size, so we're getting somewhere.
My anti romas ended like I'm sleeping better. So yeah,
I'm definitely turned a corner.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Well, you sound so positive and upbeat. You should get
shingles more often.

Speaker 13 (18:06):
I know what I have.

Speaker 10 (18:07):
I'm like, I like low key and like this is
what unemployment feels like. And I'm like, oh, okay, I
kind of like it, but I got it.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
That's wort Winnie.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
We did a topic time this morning, you know, the
segment we usually do every so often. What we're watching.
I'm assuming you watched a lot of TV while you
were home. Any recommendations.

Speaker 10 (18:23):
Okay, literally, I just paused High Town season three, episode
seven because I've literally watched that the entire time at home.
It's so good. I high recommend it. It's set in
p Town and it's about this cop. It's really good.
It's massy police, it's like drug dealer stuff. It's very
it's really good. And then I watch All Black Rabbit,

(18:45):
which was so good.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
How unbelievable is that final episode?

Speaker 10 (18:50):
Oh my god? Yeah, So I've watched like four whole
seasons of shows while I've been home.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
You know what's weird about High Town? I keep seeing
the promo. I swear I think I saw the whole show.

Speaker 10 (19:04):
It's actually like Hunting Wise with cops. Like there's a
lot of lesbian scenes, Like, there's a lot of that.
There's a lot of like guess, but it's really good.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
How long has it been around though.

Speaker 10 (19:15):
It's started in like twenty nineteen. Ye stars, and then
now it's like on Netflix, So there's three season on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Write it down, Belly.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yeah, No, I definitely saw High Town. He loves lesbians?
Oh god? Well, yeah, because the cop in Highetown is a.

Speaker 10 (19:28):
Lesbian, right, yes, yeah, fee Town.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah, it's just like hunting Wise. Well, hunting Wise, there's
a new level.

Speaker 10 (19:36):
Of love exactly. And I also rewatched Fear because I
just love that movie with Mark Wahlberg and Renee.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Spoon classic movie.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Yeah, how about that scene when he starts beating his chest?

Speaker 10 (19:50):
Remember that scene when Yeah, I actually really enjoyed the
roller coaster.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Oh yeah, that's a good one too. Yeah, he takes
it uh to a higher place.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
I might watch it for a tenth time this weekend.
And don't forget the Red Sox documentary? Is it out
this weekend?

Speaker 10 (20:07):
Okay? Are they gonna Are they gonna win? Are they
gonna lose? Are they the playoffs? I guys, I don't
know anything.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
I've been tonight tonight.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Well, it all comes down to this weekend. They need
to win one game.

Speaker 10 (20:18):
Okay, do we have faith in them?

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Of course we do one out of three chances or
if the Astros lose, they also clinch a playoff spot.

Speaker 10 (20:27):
So okay, all right, so there's a good possibility will
be a wild card. Yeah, okay, good good. Yeah, I'm
out the loop. But I really don't know what's going on.
So you guys to just tell me. I want I
