Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, we're back. We've got a pair of tickets for
the jingle Ball that sold out. Jingle ball Ed Shearon
is the headline, Olivia Dean's coming for jingle Bait.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
It is hot right now.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Sane man. Anyway, Yeah, you not only get the jingle
Ball tickets if you're called twenty five, but you quali
five four to what at least a jackpot?
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Okay, Yeah, we've really like upped the game here. So
caller twenty five, you win the tickets, then it qualifies
you to win one hundred and eight thousand dollars. You're
gonna come into the studio. We're gonna have one hundred
eight bags. One of the bags has one hundred and
eight thousand dollars in it. Plus you get four front
row tickets to jingle Ball, so you still get the
foe front row tickets to jingle Ball, and you may
(00:35):
get the one hundred and eight thousand bullers.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Justin did anybody win the one hundred and eight thousand dollars?
Speaker 5 (00:41):
Not yet? Just started today, right, Yeah?
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Seven to ten with the first one. Now is the
second one, so we do need caller twenty five, and
you'll need the keyword and the keyboard is going.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
To be heist. Yeah, heist, heist, that robbery.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Everyone was talking about this yesterday.
Speaker 5 (00:56):
Yeah, we'll be talking about that in a couple of minutes.
But speaking of jingle Ball, Tate McCray has done our
jingle Balls many times, even when she was kind of
coming up. Then she was our headliner last year and
then look at this year. Three shows sold out of
the TV Garden, including this past Friday night.
Speaker 6 (01:11):
Mike from New Hampshire, I went to see Tate McCray
Friday night and she was amazing. She just played all
the hits she played, take Pretre. She did not do
any covers, but the show was awesome and it's great
to see how what she's grown from when I saw
(01:32):
her in twenty twenty one to when I saw her
last year jingle Ball. She's amazing, great show.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
Yeah, Mike, not your typical Tate McCray fan. Really No,
it sounds like, but he actually goes to a lot
of shows.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
And I know, Mike, she didn't do a soundtrack cover.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
He said no, maybe no, Well that's a different thing.
I'm not sure if he went to the soundcheck. I
think he more meant during the show.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Podcast so the sound check, the sound check is a
ticketed event, a separate ticketed event.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
Yeah, you extra to go early. And she does a
sound check and that's what she does the covers. But
she did tif for tat the kid LaRoy song.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah, we were wondering Friday, would she do it?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Selesta. That's Taylor Swift's favorite.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Song right, Well, not only that, she I think she
wants to rub kid Laroy's face in it.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
Well what do you do tend to breakup songs towards her? Yeah,
like enough is an one is enough? Yeah, you know
what I mean. I'm looking out the window here at
the radio station. It's looking a little windy. Here, looking
a little windy.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Justin and Billy and Lisa, this is MK. I have
called in from.
Speaker 7 (02:38):
Many a last around the.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
World, Egypt included. I am currently in Harwich, Massachusetts, and
the wind is insane. We're about to get the forty
five minutes so way from here storm, beautiful sunrise. My
dogs are loving it, but.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Uncomfy.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Yeah, so we woke up and it was a beautiful morning.
Oh you're not going to stay that way.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
No, it's getting Oh he's gotting windy here now weather
a'll lert. We're having trouble hearing.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Yeah, wait for the drenching rains.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
Bill is your boat?
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Okay, who knows? Honey? Is it okay? Down there?
Speaker 8 (03:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Batting down the hatches?
Speaker 5 (03:20):
Yeah? What's she doing right now?
Speaker 1 (03:22):
CoFe tying? Okay, that's putting the call? Call her twenty
five and nine one. Hey, Nicole, your call it twenty five.
You have a keyword?
Speaker 8 (03:29):
Good morning, Yes, it's heist.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Heist is the keyword. So this is cool, Nicole, because
you have jingle Ball tickets. But tell her about the
bonus lease.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Okay, you're shot at one hundred and eight thousand dollars.
You'll come into the studio and we're going to give
you four front row tickets to jingle Ball.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
That's guaranteed.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
And then you pick a bag and one of the
bags has one hundred and eight thousand dollars in it.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
You okay with that, Honey?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Perfect? Thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (03:51):
I'm very grateful.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
All right, so are we? Thank you? But don't go anywhere,
Do not hang up. You'll talk to produce it Riley
and we'll see a jingle ball.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Wow, that's amazing. Twelve hand will be your next shot
to win the sold out jingle ball tickets and also
qualify for the forefront row jingle ball tickets and how
much money leave.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Tilly Lisa every morning. Kiss.
Speaker 9 (04:11):
It was an elaborate jewelry heist in broad daylight at
one of the most famous attractions in the world. Authorities
in Paris say pieces stolen from the Louver this morning
were priceless.
Speaker 10 (04:21):
It does appear that these were extremely well trained rubbers.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
They clamless, meticulously obviously.
Speaker 9 (04:29):
The thieves broke into the Apollo Gallery, which houses the
French Crown jewels, getting in and out in just seven minutes.
Officials say that thieves enter the museum from the outside,
using an external freight lift mounted on a truck to
reach a window and then forcing it open. They sped
away on motorcycles.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Oh boy, how on earth can you manage to break
into the louver?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
This will be one of the best movies.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Right's got the rights to this story?
Speaker 2 (05:01):
All right?
Speaker 3 (05:01):
It was brazen, it was brutal, It was quick, seven
minutes in and out.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
They dropped Eugenie's Crown on the way out.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Oh yeah, so, I'm telling you they it was well orchestrated.
They showed up in like a little van like construction
workers pulled this.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Like ladder and they just went right up and broke it.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Now, when you drop Eugenie's crown, do you pick it
up on your way out?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
You'll lead They did, got spooked, they did.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
Yeah, they got away with a bunch, but they left
some stuff behind. There was one gem that was worth
a lot of money. Yeah, but they left behind. But
how brazen is this? You know who we have to
get on this, Lisa ben Mezzer, We do column. Yeah,
he could write a book.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
And you know this is like the Isabella story Gardener Museum.
Speaker 8 (05:42):
It really is.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
They it was never solved, never solved.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
It was happening at nine thirty am, just as the
museum was opening, so a lot of commotion, right, Yeah, there.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Was one hundreds and hundreds of people were in the museum.
They were asked to leave, including a local guy.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
He was there.
Speaker 11 (05:58):
When they realized what was going on, the guards got
very aggressive immediately. But then when we started seeing swat
teams and military people, I was like, I think there's
something more going on here, and so we all turned
and high tailed it.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Yeah, when you see swat teams arrive on the scene,
of anything, just hide like I mean, something serious is
going down.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Well, then there's the question that Lisa asked this morning,
where do you fence the jewels?
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Right, although had a good idea.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Maybe you break it up like you break up the
necklaces and sell in peace by piece.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Worth so much more as a whole though.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Right, wouldn't you love to see where these guys are
right now and what they're doing.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
I feel like they always get caught, except for the
Isabella Gardner of course they were never never caught, but
I'm sure they'll get caught.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Well, this is Paris, this is your home.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
I'm telling you that it was so low tech but
so high tech at the same time.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yes, right, So they sent a letter all to the room.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
They pulled up in like a van, and then they
hopped out as construction workers. And then this this ladder
was an electric ladder, so they just pressed a button
and it just went zoop.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
All the way up to the second floor.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Again hopped and they went up to the balcony and
then broke through the window.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
This is and the and the museum was open.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, it was just opening.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Wow, this is amazing. So they must have been planning
this for a year. Yeah, they definitely in and out
and how.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Many minutes, like seven minutes?
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (07:32):
The Crown Jewels.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
Oh boy, yeah, they're gone. It's unbelievable. Wow. So yeah,
is Interpol in on this? You think?
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Absolutely?
Speaker 5 (07:40):
Just French authorities absolutely never want to Interpol after you.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
No, you never want to have a conversation with Interpol.
You never want to know who's in Interpol.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Never.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yeah, just to avoid it at all costs.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
Never. By the way, isn't crown jewels also a nickname
for something? Yes, certainly, that's all I was thinking when
the news.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Are protect the Crown Jewels?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
I think is the phrase how do you say it
in French?
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Paul de Lumier.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
No, I don't think that's it.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
I don't think that's it.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Somebody's walking around with the Crown jewels for real this morning?
Speaker 5 (08:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Yeah, God, I want to know these guys, really, Lisa.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Now the entertainment update with the Billy godsend on kiss.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
So the Patriots are on fire, four wins in a row,
first place in the afcast. Drake may also on fire
two hundred and twenty two yards for two touchdowns. Everything
is clicking right now.
Speaker 12 (08:38):
You'll learn each other, learning the offense together, and I
think more and more comes for every week. And I
think that's the big thing with with coach. He's uh
calling great games. And I think we got you know,
even more or less than the tank. And I think
that's what we'll look back on in that fourth quarter
there to try to really steal the game.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
I told you a couple of years ago, keep an
eye on this guy, Drake May. Yes, this guy is
the future from the beginning well documented.
Speaker 5 (09:01):
Yeah, how many times Lisa did Billy say, until I
see it, I'm not buying in on the Drake hype,
I'm not buying in.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Well, now I'm seeing that and I'm all in, how's that?
Speaker 5 (09:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I mean, Drake bidyu coach raybel back in Nashville. He
coached the Titans for six years before being fired, but
he says, don't believe all the hype. He was not
seeking revenge.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
Sure moved on, you know, I mean again, there's a
lot of guys over there and a lot of people
and have support staff that helped us through some decent things.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
But you know, they kind of move on and this
is a whole different challenge and I'm.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Excited of where I'm at. Yeah, Patrick gonna play the
Browns on a Sunday out of Jillette Stadium. It's a
home game one o'clock, a kickoff. Two games tonight by
the Way Bucks and the Lions and the Texans and
the Seahawks, the Blue Jays and the Mariners have a
game seven tonight. Winner goes to the World Series against
(09:57):
the Dodgers with a Game one on Friday.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Oh, it's an eight oh eight start, but I feel
like I have to watch it.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Oh man, it's gonna be electric. How about shohe Otani?
Justin was calling me over the weekend. You see this guy,
this is miraculously watch.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, he's the best player.
Speaker 5 (10:15):
I think of all time. Yeah, definitely of this generation.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Yeah. He pitched six scoreless innings. He struck out ten
batters and had three home runs in the game to
the County.
Speaker 13 (10:31):
Oh, Toddy, Toddy has done it again. It's third home run.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
He actually led off with the home run. Imagine. I
think he struck out three batters in the first jenning
and then he got up to the plate let.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
Off with the home run. Yeah. I was watching the
This is like two inside hit the slow motion on
one of the home runs. His head doesn't move. He's
looking at the ball the entire time.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
That's the key.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
It's perfect for him.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
You gotta stay on the ball. Same thing in tennis,
right list.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
Yes, yeah, So now the talk is, well, the talk
is like, what's going to happen to the ball? How
much is the ball gonna be worth? The third home run?
Speaker 7 (11:05):
Ball?
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (11:06):
And then also this trading card. So I did reach
out to your son, who is the card expert. He's
in Dallas opening another card vault. He's going to join us.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah, what are the odds? We have an expert in
the family. You can talk about the ball, he can
also talk about the card.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
Yeah. Well, so you know see how I'm excited about
the holow tiny thing. Think about what it's like in
his world. Oh, I mean he was already texting me NonStop.
I go, Chris, we're not on the air. This is
the text.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Save it for the air, because he could even broker
the deal. Let's say somebody has the card or has
the ball and they are looking to sell it. That's
what he said, Yeah, Chris can do the deal. And
then he gets an incredible commission I'm just saying so,
so bring the carpenter the guest toast on the Saturday
Night Live, also the musical guest this weekend. We do
(11:49):
have a clip from the monologue.
Speaker 7 (11:50):
Now, since I'm here, I want to clear up some
misconceptions people have about me.
Speaker 8 (11:54):
Everyone thinks of me as this like horn dog pop star,
but there's really so much more to me.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
I'm not just I'm also turned on.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
I'm sexually charged and I love to read.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
She's kind of morning. She was jumping around in her underwear.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Yeah during what because she's like in on the joke. Yeah, no,
all the time.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
She doesn't take herself too serious.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
She does it and the skits were hilarious and I
knew they would be. I mean, she's so fun. Doesn't
she seem like she's having the time of her Ye, yes,
she does while working.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Yeah, I'm so happy for her.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Just announced, by the way, Olibya Dean will be the
musical guest on Saturday Night Live November fifteenth. Olivia Dean
on the list of jingle Ball artists sold now jingle
Ball December fourteenth, and don't forget we had two shots
giving away tickets this morning at seven ten and eight ten,
We'll do it again twelve ten today justin on the
jingle ball tickets with the shot that's the one hundred
(12:48):
eight thousand ridiculous. Fifty cent is thanking Taylor Swift for
mentioning him in her new song Ruin the Friendship. Here's
a clip of the song. Was cool anyway? That's the song,
(13:10):
and now ry can we get the clip.
Speaker 5 (13:12):
That was cool? And you know what it is?
Speaker 1 (13:13):
I think the shout out is about that period of music,
right do it to that Tryan is coming and you
can't miss me and in her life at that point,
it's true, Lisa, didn't you get an invite from fifty
cent once to come to his house?
Speaker 14 (13:28):
Well?
Speaker 3 (13:28):
I interviewed him at one point and he was going
to be somewhere like in Connecticut at some party. He
invited me.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
Did you go?
Speaker 1 (13:36):
I didn't, but he did invite you to his home.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
He said.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
That one's up there with the Chris Martin.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, look at the effect you're having on people. Yeah, Okay.
Brandy suddenly walked off for show in Chicago this weekend
mid song. We have a clip there she goes it
(14:09):
can be one second talk.
Speaker 7 (14:13):
What ye.
Speaker 11 (14:16):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (14:17):
My god, God, no, she was performing with Monica. But
the big story is she left the show before they
did their big song, right boys mine, I.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
Mean that's the finale. That's what everyone showed up to see.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
The waiting all night face. That's it. Well we got it.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
I love that song.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
She did release a statement after the show saying she
was a hydranting.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
You just gotta drink more water.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Can't stress that enough. We say it every day on
the Billy Reason.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
I always say that you gotta drink more water.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Drink your water. So the Springsteen movie with the jer
Me Alan White as Springsteen comes out this coming Friday.
Jeremy Allen White and Springsteen both on The Graham Norton
Show this week talking about how involved Bruce has been.
Speaker 10 (15:10):
Bruce was there. We spent a little bit of time
before we got started shooting. We met here actually in
London for the first time at Wembley. I met him
before show, and we got together around New Jersey right
before filming, and then and then Bruce was around, you know,
on set with us.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
I always feel a little guilty.
Speaker 15 (15:28):
Back there, you know, I go like, Okay, now does
this fella have to play me? He has to play
me while my stupid ass is sitting in the chair
watch watching him.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yeah. They were on the Good Morning America this morning
too with George Stefanopolis a couple of minutes ago.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
Movie looks good, must say.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Coming out this Friday. You know it was weird. I
was in my office a couple of minutes ago.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
Is this Kelly and Mark?
Speaker 1 (15:53):
No, but they're involved.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Of course they are. Billy has an obsession Kelly.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
In my office. It's getting my coffee. And Good Morning
America was on the TV in the office at the time,
and they were recapping the daytime Emmy Awards, and it
just seemed like something from a past to life, like
talking about the soap operas that won Emmy?
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Is General Hospital still on?
Speaker 1 (16:19):
They won?
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Really?
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (16:21):
So what do we think it is? Lesa? Is it
Mark and Suelos? Is it his build that Billy's obsessed with?
Speaker 11 (16:26):
Like?
Speaker 5 (16:26):
What is it?
Speaker 7 (16:27):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (16:27):
His arms are jack? Do you get That's why you
caught an attitude every time I mentioned Mark and Suelos,
because you're jealous of his arms.
Speaker 11 (16:33):
No.
Speaker 5 (16:33):
I love Markenzuylers. I do like him. Think he's a
nice dude. And yeah, he's in shape. But you're like
obsessed every day.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
The Kelly and Mark Show actually won an Emmy.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
Thank you for that hard hitting report. Are you done?
Speaker 11 (16:47):
I think so.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
We're brought to you by the nine and nine Restaurant.
Listen fourteen ninety nine. Big Deal Meals start the week
off right satisfied, big appetites every Monday through Wednesday. Today
happened to be a Monday. Try the new grilled tary
Archy chain for flavor that will always be kicking you.
Ask for big deal meals in a great time. You
gotta love the nines and there you go.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
I love you from.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
The Planet Fitness Kiss, one of eight Studios. We're back
with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
On It to the count.
Speaker 13 (17:17):
Oh Tony Toddy, Oh Toddy, Oh Toddy has done it again,
this third home run.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Yeah, otan, He's six scoreless innings, he pitched, he struck
out ten. He had three home runs in one game.
He actually let off the game with a home run.
So we go now live to Dallas, Texas and my
son Chris, who's in Dallas opening up another cardball store
with Tom Brady. Good morning, Chris, morning guys. Uh so
(17:48):
you're the memorabilia experts. So this ball, this third home
run of the game, what do you think that's worth?
Speaker 8 (17:55):
I mean, it's got to be two millions his fifty
to fifty home run ball. Did I believe it was
four point four million at auction last year when when
he hit the fiftieth home run to go with his
fiftieth sole and base. Yeah, so yeah, I would say
half of that, the only reason being kind of the
fifty to fifty mark is a mark deck kind of
lives on forever. This was more of like a single
(18:15):
game performance type deal. But it was certainly one of
the best games in history. Oh yeah, So maybe I'm
wrong and it comes closer to four million, but I think,
you know, fifty to fifty was something a little bit different.
This is still very very special and obviously something we've
never seen before. But I think two two and a
half million is my guess.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
So, Chris, the guy or the woman who bought the
four million dollar ball, So is this somebody who's just
going to keep it as a collector or will they
try and resell it and make even more money?
Speaker 8 (18:43):
Yeah? Good question. So it was actually an investment firm
out of Taiwan that won it last year at auction.
It's called XE Capital. Yeah, there's a lot of that
happening in this world right now. There's you know, not
just private money, like big private money, but there's also
you know, big public money, private equity, venture capital. There's
a lot of big investment coming into not just the
(19:05):
memorabilia but the sports card space. So yeah, I think
what they're doing is they're they're folding it as an
investment as part of a larger portfolio. And this type
of ball could certainly go to a home like that,
go to you know, a celebrity collector's home. Kevin O'Leary
spending a lot of money in our Oh yeah, so
you never know.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
He's big. He's big in the collecting bis. How about
you're in the trading card business? Is there a card
and what would that be worth?
Speaker 8 (19:32):
Yeah, So those two sides of that number one, Tops
made a what they have they have Tops Now product,
which is kind of like an on demand trading card product.
When big events happen, they'll create a card to commemorate it,
and they'll have a Top rep at the stadium and
the player will sign the card and this card happens
to have a game used ball from the three home
(19:54):
run game. Yeah, so that card is going to do
big money. So one on one with a piece of
a game, use ball, the game and Otani's autograph. You know,
that might be a three four, five hundred thousand dollars card.
But I have a friend I'm not going to disclose
who who has me working on tracking down what you
can consider Otani's best card in existence? Is this one
(20:15):
of one super Fractor from twenty eighteen Bowman Chrome, his
first Bowman card. One of one.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
That's gonna be My next question? Is there any chance
you can broker the card deal?
Speaker 8 (20:28):
Yeah, I'm working on this one. I don't think I'm
gonna be able to get it for less than four million?
Speaker 5 (20:31):
Is that a celebrity friend, Chris?
Speaker 8 (20:34):
It is justin thank you for asking? Yees.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Could it be a celebrity friend who's actually very close
to you right now in Dallas?
Speaker 8 (20:44):
No, No, it is not. It is not that celebrity friend. Okay,
that would be, and I'd be giving away too much.
Everybody knows. Tom was here in Dallas doing the broadcast yesterday.
But yeah, no, it's a it's a friend. It's a
good friend and it's one that's excited cards, and it
is beginning into cards lately. So I'm in the in
the process of hunting or working on hunting that card down.
(21:05):
But again, like I said, I don't think we're getting
it for less than four million. I think it's going
to break the modern baseball card record, which is held
by I don't know if you guys know who Vegas
Dave is, but he's a fairly viral personality. He bought
the Mike Trout one of one super fractor back in
twenty twenty for three point eight million, So this will
break the record.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
Is four million out of this guy, this celebrity friend's
price range. What's their their MAXI amount of money they
want to spend.
Speaker 8 (21:32):
No, it's very much inside of their price range. Jump,
and we're starting to give away too much info.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Okay, let's say hypothetically you brokeer this deal four million. Hypothetically,
what would be your cut?
Speaker 8 (21:43):
Well, it depends. Sometimes it's nothing. Sometimes it's you know,
you know, we want to take care of our friendships
and our relationships and help people that help us. Yeah,
sometimes that's part of our business. But in this case,
probably nothing. I think it's more so this is a
really important moment in our industry. You know, anything record breaking,
anything O Tani related, is really important in our industry.
(22:05):
And yeah, I mean the guy is.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Listen.
Speaker 8 (22:09):
I hate to say it because I'm partners with Tom,
but I think we're starting to head into greatest athlete
of all time territory. Yeah, with Otani and listen. It's
no disrespect to Tom. I think he's currently holding that
holding that place. But this is something we've never seen before.
I mean, wow, Like if you were to compare what
he's doing on the baseball field to other sports, there's
(22:32):
no real way to describe it. Like, you can't come
up with a basketball game performance that would match it.
You can't come up with a football game performance that
would match it. It's absurd.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I'm glad you're talking about Tom, your partner, because we
were wondering as a group here back in Boston, is
there any chance you can get mister Brady as my
fourth son back on this show. You know, we could
talk football, we could talk Patriots, we could talk break May.
Speaker 8 (22:58):
It's always in the cards, it's always in the car.
You're gonna work on that, You're gonna work on Tom.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Yeah, like aggressive, bet, yes please, yes.
Speaker 8 (23:05):
Okay, that's all you got to do, is all you
have to do is ask?
Speaker 1 (23:07):
All right, we're thinking by the end of the week,
so we can Okay, what you've got him right there
in Dallas. You're probably having ham and eggs with him
right in to Does he eat eggs at least Tom Brady?
Speaker 8 (23:18):
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Okay, all right, Well if you get to Tom, make
sure he knows you want to get him on the show.
And congratulations on Dallas. Is this your eighth card Board
store now?
Speaker 8 (23:29):
Yeah, eighth location. We're right at American Airline Center with
the Mavericks and the Stars play. We're going to open
on Thursday. Out here, we are announcing a very special guest.
But I'll give you guys, oh the uh the first
look at the story. We're gonna have Cooper flag, the
first overall NBA picked at the store on Thursday. Wow,
that's very exciting.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
So you're going to be hanging out with this week too.
Speaker 8 (23:52):
Yeah, yes, yeah, absolutely so. Cooper Flagg will help us
open Dallas on Thursday, and then we're going to open
Mall of America in November and going to open Vegas
in December.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Justin why don't you go ahead and say what you
want to say and say, Billy, have you been to
an opening yet? God ahead?
Speaker 5 (24:07):
I was actually Chris, I was actually going to ask
when is the timeline for Miami, because that's the Miami one?
Is the one Billy and all of us are planning
to go.
Speaker 8 (24:15):
Yeah, well, of course, yeah, how could it not be?
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Well Tom's house is well, Tom invited us on the boat,
so we.
Speaker 8 (24:21):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, be prepared. If I get Tom
on the show, his ask is probably going to be like,
if he wants me on the show, he better be
at an opening.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Oh? Really? Is he copying an attitude with me? Is
my fourth son William pro quo? Okay, get Tom on
and we're guaranteeing you were coming to Miami.
Speaker 8 (24:42):
Well, I mean no, you're coming to the next one.
I'm going to drag you out of Boston, make you uncomfortable.
We're going to make the schedule challenging, and you're going
to come and see an opening.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Well, when is the next one.
Speaker 8 (24:54):
It's going to be in November in Minneapolis, your favorite city.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
I'm not coming to min go to Minneapolis if you
gave me the four million dollar card.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
Oh, my god, we're going to Minneapolis. All right, Well,
keep in touch Chris on on Tom. Let's try to
make that happen. That'd be great.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Congratulations Chris, you got very proud man. You must have
some talkback leftovers in there.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Brother, Well, we just had Chris on your son who
was a part of card vaults. Every time we have
him on, I get inundated with messages and questions, as
does he about people that have collections and have cards,
you know.
Speaker 13 (25:33):
Justin could you ask Billy Billy Son like if he
had a modest card collection, like.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
How do you go about cash mat in or you know.
Speaker 13 (25:42):
You get some valuable cards with a lot of like
not so valuable cards.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Do they look into things like that? Do they look
for that? You can go to any card vault. They buy, sell,
trade all that stuff. That's the business, Heason. They're at
TD Garden and at Patriot Place and Foxborough. Yeah, there'll
be woods. That's what they do, so you can't hurt
go in there see if they're worth anything. Maybe they'll
buy them.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Yeah, they want to see everyone's cards.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Yeah. I mean I get calls every day barey not
for noten though I got boxes and cards they're all
brand new. I bet they weren't a lot of money.
Can you get me your son Chris on the phone.
I don't know if they're exactly talking like that.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
I don't think so. Well. The thing is that, you know,
I feel like with Chris, he could find a hidden gem.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
That's the thing you never know in someone's basement. They
don't even know it, and that's what they're looking for.
Speaker 5 (26:30):
There are hidden gems. Yeah, put away. So anyway, also
this morning, we talked a lot about the six seven
trend that is everywhere. It's taken over the world. Six seven.
Speaker 7 (26:38):
Speaking of six'. Seven SO i have a kindergartener and
who has no idea and she's like six. SEVEN i
was a fourteen year old who thinks it's, dumb and
he gets so annoyed with, her and THEN i have
to remind him of all of the phases that he
has gone, through such as flossing all of the. Time
he floss his way through first. Grade every time he
takes the corner with a grocery, card he goes. Drift
(27:01):
so you, know those trends just keep.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
Going, yeah the six seven is just another trend that
the kids. Use but it's. EVERYWHERE i was At. Screamfest

wife's saying, it my son saying. IT i was At
screamfest At. CANOEDY i was in line for an hour
for The Haunted, house and you could just hear it. Around.

Speaker 7 (27:22):
Seven let me tell you, something six seven is way
better than bottle flipping, was.
Speaker 10 (27:27):
And way better than.
Speaker 8 (27:28):
Whatever they used to do in the. Nineties Like John
cena somebody, wrestler you, know put the ex over, there.
Speaker 10 (27:34):
Cross and, said that's, it.

think it's funny and they it kind of like.
Speaker 8 (27:46):

Speaker 5 (27:47):

was someone. Else they had THE x towards The, yeah,
YEAH i forget who that. WAS i remember, flossing, Flossing, yeah.
FLOSSING i still say that. Sometimes, yeah, yeah you're. Flossing that.
Was that's been around for a. While six seven is
(28:09):
just a new. TERM i was hesitant to talk about
this because you know what's gonna happen, Now, Lisa bill's
going to be six seven all day and he's gonna
be not gonna able to stop. Himself he's going to
ruin the. Trend, right go, AHEAD i know you want
to do it right. Now six. Seven here's a silly.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Question why six hate? Seven because seven eight nine.
Speaker 2 (28:32):

of minutes, ago we were talking about the six seven
trend and we mentioned that old wrestling move kind of
the suck it with the hands from the. Nineties we
couldn't think about what it.

when he wins something dab the. Dab the dad still does.
That he is doing it right. Now the six seven
trend lives.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
On he's gonna be saying it all. Day you're gonna
be saying that on THE i can't.
Speaker 5 (29:28):
Wait it's. Everywhere it was during THE nfl broadcast. Yesterday
the kids are saying even like adults are saying, it
six seven everything six seven? Six does that?
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Mean like? Whatever?
Speaker 1 (29:37):
Yeah why not just say?
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Whatever it's kind of like. That, yeah but if you
can roll it into an actual six or a, seven
naturally that's the. Win, yeah you. Know he asked my, Son,
hey what time are you going to be home? Tonight you,
know And i'll say six And i'll be like six,
Seven so. Stupid also this, morning our topic time was
about that boatload of money that was found In. Maine
(29:59):
it was left on a. Roof some guy dropped, it
another guy picked it. Up now they're looking for the,
guy which led to the question, of, like you, know
if you found the, money would you give it back
or have you ever lost or found a lot of?
MONEY a lot of good talkbacks.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
On this good.
Speaker 7 (30:12):
Morning long story, Short i'm a server AND i found
one thousand dollars in an envelope underneath the.
Speaker 9 (30:19):

Speaker 16 (30:24):
So and he also left his credit, card so we called.
Speaker 9 (30:27):
Them so we had the credit, card and they were.
Speaker 7 (30:29):
So happy that we found one thousand dollars cash for
him that they ended up giving us the three hundred
dollars reward for returning the.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
Yeah, absolutely the right thing to.
Speaker 14 (31:24):
Do is to turn the money in because that's good. Karma,
however if you're stupid enough to leave seven grand on
the roof of your, car you don't deserve to get it.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
