Speaker 1 (00:01):
Now back to Billy and Lisa's top twenty five moments
of twenty twenty five kids.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
What do we so list?
Speaker 3 (00:07):
So let's be honest.
Speaker 4 (00:08):
It's always crazy, but always very entertaining, whether you have
your children on the show, or my boys on the show,
or Justin's son Abel on the show. But one day
we had my sons, Dylan and Chris in the studio,
big time hockey players growing up, college, high school, big
time hockey fans, and they really got into it.
Speaker 5 (00:30):
Your kids are so competitive. So we came up with
a little hockey quiz. I actually came up with it,
and you will not believe who won.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
Number six. Chris, Are you there? Dylan?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Are you here?
Speaker 4 (00:42):
I am here, Chris. I got to tell you off air,
your brother, Dylan, your baby brother, threw the first shot
over the bow. He texted me and he said, funny thing.
Only one of us played hockey. Now, oh boy, Chris,
if I'm not mistaken, you played hockey all over Europe,
all over Europe.
Speaker 6 (00:59):
I played first one, right wing all the way up
into the state championship finals.
Speaker 7 (01:03):
Yeah, but you know who's counting?
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I need?
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Do you understand during the game, you don't talk over
each other again, Lisa dunaman is, she's got questions and
we'll start with Chris please.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
No, we're starting with Dylan.
Speaker 5 (01:12):
Okay, all right, Dylan, name the captains from each team.
Speaker 7 (01:16):
Sidney Crosby is the captain for Canada. Austin Matthews is
the captain for the USA.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Okay, Yeah, that's great.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Okay, So Dylan gets one.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
And by the way, in this in this competition, if
the one guy doesn't get it, the other guy stack
can steal.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
All right, Chris, Now, Chris to get this, Okay, Chris,
which player said the iconic line four nations facing off
in the promo video and has now become a meme
for it?
Speaker 7 (01:41):
What he's going on here with the question?
Speaker 8 (01:43):
Answer the question, Chris?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
No answer, zero answer, Dylan, you want to steal?
Speaker 7 (01:50):
Honestly? To give Chris some credit. That's a tough one,
was it, Matthew could chuck?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
No, it's Sidney Crosby.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
I can't believe you didn't know that, all right, Dylan?
On God, it's like I'm hearing myself in the game.
They are like you. So who's next?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
All right, Dylan?
Speaker 5 (02:08):
There are four players on Team USA from the state
of Massachusetts. Can you name one player?
Speaker 7 (02:13):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (02:17):

the board, Jack Challs from Chelmsford.

Speaker 7 (02:39):
Okay, beach balls being lobbed over the next.
Speaker 2 (02:43):

were photographed having dinner with Team USA before they played
the first game against Finland.
Speaker 9 (02:57):

Speaker 7 (02:57):
Sure, I don't know this and this is crazy.
Speaker 10 (03:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah, Rouziani is definitely one.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
You get a half of that. Okay, we'll take that.
That's a tough one.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Wait, Dylan, Dylan, do you know the other one?
Speaker 7 (03:08):
No, I was going to say as well.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay, it's Rob mcallahan.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Half point. Yeah, let's just again. Okay.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
I don't think Callahan was invited.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
He just happened to be in the bar at.
Speaker 8 (03:21):
The same time.
Speaker 7 (03:22):
Yeah. Rob mcclan.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
I was born in nineteen eighty eight.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Okay, all right, who's up now?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Okay, Dylan.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
USA coach Mike Sullivan has a special connection to defenceman
Charlie McAvoy.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
What is it be you?
Speaker 4 (03:40):
That's one?
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Okay, all right, we'll give you that a point for that. Yeah,
he gets a point. Chris. Do you know another.
Speaker 7 (03:47):
Connection is the team USA?
Speaker 2 (03:51):
No, it's Mike Sullivan's daughter, Kylie is married to Charlie.
Speaker 8 (03:54):
How do you not know that?
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Isn't that interesting?
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Yeah, we're teaching the hawk Savan.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
These questions are so hard.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
I don't know the fun fact.
Speaker 6 (04:09):
In fact, Hannah and ies rehearsal dinner was kicked out
of tall ships by Charlie and his wife.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Oh your connection?
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Wow? Wow? What were you doing?
Speaker 11 (04:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (04:21):
I mean they were more important.
Speaker 7 (04:22):
They got the space.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, Chris, choose one of the four? Okay? Sorry? Okay?
Can you list all three goalies for US?
Speaker 6 (04:31):
A list all three goalies for USA, Autinger, swam In
and Hella Buck.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yes, whoa wow?
Speaker 7 (04:40):
Right there?
Speaker 2 (04:41):
That was good.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Huge.
Speaker 9 (04:43):
I don't want have known that one.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Okay, Dylan got your hockey.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
Guys went mess well and.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Extra that wasn't in the question.
Speaker 8 (04:55):
Okay, great?
Speaker 7 (04:55):
Do you have their social Security numbers? All right?
Speaker 8 (05:00):
Dylan?
Speaker 3 (05:01):
By the way, I love you guys.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Okay, Dylan, what to NHL teams did not have a
player represent them in the tournament.
Speaker 7 (05:09):
Is one of them the Seattle Kraken?
Speaker 5 (05:12):
The answer is no, Chris.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Do you want to steal.
Speaker 7 (05:20):
Yikes? San Jose Sharks, Yes.
Speaker 6 (05:24):
And the Utah No.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
You got one?
Speaker 7 (05:30):
You half?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
The Washington Capitals? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Really the Capitol?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah, the Capitals.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
All right, somebody got a bell there?
Speaker 8 (05:36):
Yeah, yeah, that was Chris. Yeah. So's the score right now?
Is Chris has three Dylan has two.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
It's a contest right now, and now Chris anymore?
Speaker 7 (05:46):
Beckey ability. By the way, this is a good question,
all right.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
This one's kind of tough, Chris.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
When the Four Nations face Off was announced that it
was returning for the twenty five season, there was a
press conference led by Gary Bettman and also included four
different NHL players there to represent the four countries competing.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Can you name two of.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
The four players that were at the press conference?
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Ooh, good question.
Speaker 6 (06:11):
Is Sidney Crosby and Austin Matthews two of them?
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Austin Matthews is definitely one of them.
Speaker 6 (06:18):
Not Sidney Crosby, Nathan Nathan McKinnon.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Nope, okay, you get a half, Dylan, you want to
give it a shot, throw it out.
Speaker 7 (06:25):
There was the Connor McDavid.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, Connor McDavid half point.
Speaker 8 (06:28):
Well, they could have a point. Was that the last one?
Speaker 2 (06:30):
That was the last one.
Speaker 8 (06:31):
Okay, Chris has a score of three and a half,
Dylan two and a half. Chris is the winner.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Well, much like tonight, it's going to be a close matchup.
This was I think a close matchup. Good job, guys.
I wish we had a prize for you. All we
have is humiliation, that's correct.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
Yeah, Dylan, don't be a sore loser.
Speaker 9 (06:51):
Dyl.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Now that's billion Les's top twenty five moments of twenty
twenty five.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
I've kissed.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Okay, we're now in the top five moments of The
Billy and Lisa Show twenty twenty five. Now I'm involved
in this one. I didn't ask to be.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Well, weird stuff always happens to you.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Well, Michelle talked me into going for a foot massage.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Okay. It took a turn number five, so Michelle was
kind enough.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Yesterday, my wife, Michelle was kind enough to make me
an appointment for a foot massage, okay, because I've had
trouble with my achilles. Yeah, and you know I think
it's healed to some degree, but it's still very stiff,
and I thought maybe a good massage on that part
of the leg and the ankle, you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
Ironically, I was on the phone with Bill yesterday and
he was like, lease, guess where I'm going right now.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I'm going to get a like massage.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
I was like, that sounds amazing.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
And my first reaction was, you know what, Lease, I'm
going to get you a gift card.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, that's what he said.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Okay, that's how we left it.
Speaker 7 (07:57):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
Then I went and this is where the story begins. Interestingly,
we booked a foot massage, both of us, because of
course Michelle decided she wanted one too, So she went
first and I walked the dog down to the place
and she comes out, took the dog and I go in,
and on her way in she said, Okay, it was
(08:18):
a great massage, but just so you know, you got
to be ready to completely be completely naked.
Speaker 8 (08:24):
And I'm like, okay, I mean that's not that's not
that's not super alarming.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
No, well, I'm always naked, but there's a blanket over me. Yeah,
they cover you up, Yeah, for your feet, foot only well, no,
that's one of the points I'm trying to make, and
I'll get to it. So I get in there, and
you know, they bring me into the room, and you know,
I undress and get under the blanket on the bed
(08:48):
with my face down, and the woman immediately walked in
and she was very nice.
Speaker 8 (08:58):
Was she younger?
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Older, younger than you would expect thirties?
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Yeah, yeah, maybe mid thirties anyway.
Speaker 8 (09:05):
Asian massage.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Yes, it was. I just don't want to get too specific.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
But she walked into the room and you know what,
the room it's pretty dark and not that dark.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
You know, they have mid lighting.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Mood mood lighting, very good. And she immediately ripped the
cover off. So now I'm naked, face down.
Speaker 8 (09:25):
Okay, okay, so wait, hold.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
On, Billa, you didn't wear underwear.
Speaker 8 (09:30):
Yeah, he's butt naked.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Oh no, I never do you have.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
To wear underwear to these places?
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Thank you for bringing that up. And I'm going to
tell you why in this case I should.
Speaker 8 (09:38):
Have long go off now, Bill.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
At this point, yeah, I thought it was a little unusual.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
And the very first thing she did after ripping the
cover off, right, she leapt onto the chamber knees first.
Speaker 8 (09:53):
So it was a time massage, yeah, and started massaging,
but he asked for a foot massage. The whole point
was where.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Okay, and now she's she's knees on oh yeah, completely naked,
and you know, I couldn't really understand what I was saying.
But the first thing she said is but I think
this is what she said. She said, would you like oil?
Speaker 3 (10:16):
And who wouldn't you know.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
That hell wouldn't like And you are so non confrontational.
Oh yeah, I mean yeah, you probably couldn't say anything
like well, wait a second, this isn't what I came for.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
I'd agree to anything, okay, because now I'm naked, and
now she's oiling me down right.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
And she's on top of you.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Ah yes, and she's like pounding me and it was nice.
And then and then she got off the table and
off me and went around to the front and I'm
still face down and now she's facing me like on it,
like yeah, she's got her knees on the table next
to my ears and she's rubbing and and I'm talking
(10:58):
right down in.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
A cross my talk like.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
So yeah, so the full yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Oh yeah, and you know, like she was getting seemed
to be getting closer and closer.
Speaker 8 (11:09):
To the red zone little Gray's hair there exactly. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
But while she's doing this right picture again, she's on
her knees by my ears and massaging down and as
she does, she's humping the top of my head.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
It's her is her? Like, so what was above your head?
Speaker 12 (11:27):
Like her her crotch and it kept oh so as
she's lunging forward with her hands, her crotches hitting my
forehead and like, okay, no in another zone?
Speaker 8 (11:45):
What was the no?
Speaker 4 (11:47):
No hold on now?
Speaker 2 (11:49):
And then yeah, so so and what you are you
like grunting?
Speaker 4 (11:53):
I am perfectly quiet. No, I'm not even moving a
muscle like I am fully giving myself there.
Speaker 8 (11:59):
Now he was excited Asian special things.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Oh my, so okay, you are getting nervous.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
I was starting to think what's going on? But then
she popped up from where she was her vaginal area,
I guess my forehead. She popped up and said half
hap and I'm like.
Speaker 8 (12:24):
What that's the code?
Speaker 4 (12:25):
I didn't know what it was. And again I wasn't
thinking codes. I just thought I was getting a foot massage.
By the way, you haven't been touched yet. Okay, so
she jumps up half hap and I'm like, yeah, thinking
she wanted me.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
To turn on.
Speaker 8 (12:40):
You were approving of the.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
No, I didn't know. I'm still not sure half hap
could have meant and I just didn't get it.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
It could have meant happy time, like happy ending time.
Speaker 9 (12:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
So again I'm ignorant to it all.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
I'm not.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
I don't go to these places to be taken care off.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
So so hap happened and I'm.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Like, oh, turn over, And then I thought she meant yes, turnover,
So now I turn over. And she left the room naked,
completely left the room. I'm buck naked now and throwing
them up, clopping, okay, just flapping her und just jump
(13:23):
hanging out. And so when she walks out, I didn't
know what she meant. I'm like, oh, it must be
over right. So then I get up naked and go
over to the couch and grab start to grab something,
and she walked in and I just froze and I'm
like and I'm like, oh, I did the wrong thing.
(13:46):
I thought it was a dungeon. No, no, no, And she
came with a box of hot towels. I don't know
why I keep reaching down. She was very short, I'm
just remembering it as best I can. So comes in
with the hot towels and I'm like, oh, I get
back on and she says, yes, you were just coming
in to de grease me with the hot towels. Yeah.
(14:08):
Then I'm like, when is she going to get to
my feet? That's why I'm here right. So now she's
finally naked. Yeah, oh I am naked in every imaginable position. Right.
So now we communicate and I figure out, oh, I'm
turning over. Now now I'm turning over, and there she is,
(14:29):
and what did you do? I didn't.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
She's laying on top of you.
Speaker 8 (14:33):
She was on the table, and I'm ling.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
What country?
Speaker 2 (14:38):
This is exactly what it is?
Speaker 4 (14:39):
I should have done my homework. I didn't know what
is this? A Taiwanese thing? Is as it from the
Fiji's like, am I going to get hurt?
Speaker 7 (14:48):
You know?
Speaker 4 (14:49):
And so now she starts doing the front.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Did you did you get aroused?
Speaker 4 (14:58):
I was praying I didn't.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
What should?
Speaker 4 (15:02):
But you know the thumbs were really getting Yeah, it
was this is where the message was being sent, I think,
And I.
Speaker 8 (15:10):
Didn't pick up on it.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
I did not. Yeah, I didn't pick up on it,
so I'm like, oh my god, what am I going
to do? What am I supposed to?
Speaker 9 (15:17):
Like?
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Am I going to be the disappointment here? And by
the way, never touched the feet that was over O
my god, I you.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Know, limped out without the massage.
Speaker 7 (15:28):
No.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Interestingly, she didn't do Michelle's feet either, and we booked
foot massages. That's what makes us think. And by the
way Michelle turned me onto this, Yeah, that's what makes
us think.
Speaker 8 (15:37):
It was one of those It was one of those places, Michelle.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
She heard a guy moaning, it's a swatch.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
It's a total baiting swatch.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Yeah, there was a guy in the building who knew
exactly what he was coming for, and I'm sure he
did that's legal. I'm glad you answered because last night
I couldn't sleep all night because I was thinking, oh
my god, imagine the cops come in when I'm there.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
What if they're doing a sting and they've got hidden
cameras I.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Could still get and I'm gonna be the next Robert Rue.
Speaker 8 (16:15):
This girl Shi.
Speaker 13 (16:18):
Just a friend, you'd say, bah off.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
She outed her. She did things that say loves Now that's.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
A billy Unleasha's top twenty five Moroments of twenty twenty
five on Kiss What We.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Well, obviously we're in the top five now. Obviously one
of the biggest stories of the entire year pretty much everywhere.
One of the stories was Bill Belichick's relationship with Jordan,
as we call her on the Billy and Lisa Morning Show.
Was a cheerleader Bridgewater State and suddenly entered a cheerleading competition.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Lise, she did, and it was in Portland, Maine.
Speaker 5 (17:04):
So one of our talkbackers decided that she would go
to the cheerleading competition for US.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
So we deputized Sarah from Maine to cover the cheerleading competition.
Speaker 8 (17:15):
I'll how you what she delivered number four.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
Good morning Sarah from Maine.
Speaker 14 (17:19):
Good morning team, how are you today?
Speaker 8 (17:21):
Good?
Speaker 4 (17:21):
It's actually good to talk with you because we all
always get the talkbacks.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Sarah, I was waiting for this all weekend.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Literally, Okay, I was so.
Speaker 14 (17:34):
Oh sorry, I was so I was happy to do it.
And you know, flex these journalistic skills and be your
official correspondent up here in the North.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Well, you did a great job. We loved your reporting.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
You sent in several reports from the scene where Jordan
Bill Belichick's girlfriend was competing in the pageant. I think
for a second time. Last year she finished runner up
and second, and this year not so much. Right, she
didn't get the Belichick.
Speaker 15 (17:59):
Bump, That's correct.
Speaker 14 (18:01):
And you know, I'd never been to a passiont before
and I learned a lot. So the runner up actually
takes the responsibilities of Miss Maine if for some reason
she cannot fulfill them. And so I think that you know, Jordan,
who have received even third place with all the bad
(18:21):
press around her, was that was actually very kind of
them to give her that because you know, I also
learned how much these you know, misnames, these beauty queens
go out and do during their reign. And I mean,
my gosh, if you had all the bad press that
she has fling around, you know, it would not it
(18:42):
would not be good. And I will say the contestants
were lovely. They did a fantastic job. Everyone was great.
Alaria said Bill. He was locked in.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Ye I saw your post.
Speaker 14 (18:58):
Yeah, he was front, he was engaged, he was looking
up the whole time. He wasn't really. It was classic
Bill Belichick, like whether he's on the sidelines at a football
game or the sidelines of a beauty pageant.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
He's in.
Speaker 14 (19:11):
He wasn't looking at his phone, he wasn't showing a
lot of emotion, not really like cheering, clapping, but but
he was in.
Speaker 15 (19:18):
He was locked in.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Did you there, did you witness Bill and Jordan's father
talking and all?
Speaker 14 (19:26):
Yeah, So, I definitely I didn't realize that was her father.
I thought that was her brother. He's very young, So
I thought.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Bill Belichick can be Jordan's father's father.
Speaker 14 (19:41):
Easily, if not father's father's father.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
Wow, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 14 (19:47):
I was hoping to maybe get a little bit closer,
but they definitely, you know, he was bodyguard roped off.
I tried to. I got a little bit of a
video and then he totally looked at me taking a video,
and then I panicked, Like Rand was.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
The bodyguard for Bill or for Jordan.
Speaker 15 (20:05):
I think for.
Speaker 7 (20:05):
Bill, I would assume.
Speaker 14 (20:08):
I mean, Jordan was up on stage and there was
you know there really there weren't a ton of people
in attendance. It was definitely mostly families. And I gotta say,
and she was also not the person who got the
loudest cheers, like there were a bunch of girls who Yeah,
and now I said in my when I talk back.
(20:28):
There wasn't a lot of drama. There really wasn't. The
biggest thing was when they announced that she was the
second runner up. She got such a little sour puss
on her face.
Speaker 7 (20:40):
I saw that.
Speaker 14 (20:42):
Yeah, it was very un beauty pageant of her.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
It was.
Speaker 7 (20:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
It's interesting though, because the winner, the first place winner,
loses because all the attentions on Jordan and she came
in third place, and nobody talks about the woman that won.
Speaker 15 (21:00):
I know, and I feel I feel bad, although you
know what, then she'll go out and she'll do her
thing for a year and she'll you know, and honestly,
at the end of the day, like who cares?
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Why do you think? Why do you think this girl
beat out Jordan?
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Well, well, first of.
Speaker 14 (21:20):
All, this girl was gunning.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
I was.
Speaker 14 (21:24):
I was messaging Justin during the pageant and I was like, oh,
I'm calling it now. Bangor and Cumberland County are going
to be the top two. Not Jordan again, no hate
or Sade. She's She's a gorgeous girl, but she has
a bit of a different look, and I think that
these girls have a little bit more of a girlish
(21:47):
look to them and they look now a little bit
more beauty pageant girlish look, and again they.
Speaker 15 (21:56):
Won because you can't have Miss Maine.
Speaker 14 (21:59):
Haven't being bad in from the unc SI yeah winds, Yeah,
whoever wins is about to go play in the Drive
for Cure, you know, golf tournament with Patrick Dempsey. You
can't have Patrick Dempsey.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Wait a minute, doctor dream is involved? What? Wait a minute,
I gotta know what. So what are the responsibilities of
Miss Maine, like like the John Deere showcase or something
like what job? Like what exactly do they do like
(22:37):
ring the cow bell on the farm fest or like
I don't like.
Speaker 14 (22:42):
Well, like I just said, they go to the Drive
for the Cure and they play alongside Patrick Dempsey.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
I did.
Speaker 14 (22:47):
I saw that last year. You know it's a little cringe.
That's okay, Yeah, I think they're at you know, they
trot them around.
Speaker 10 (22:54):
I oh wait I read it.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Wait wait, I mean Sarah, I have to ask one
more detail.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
It was reported that when she came out in her swimsuit,
did she come out to Pink Pony Club by Chapel Roon.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Oh yeah, okay, yeah, please don't ever make me see
that video.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
There we go, there comes Jordan, second runner up.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Now back to Billy and Lisa's Top twenty five moments
of twenty twenty five kids.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
Okay, the countdown continues. We're all the way up to
number three, so you know it's going to be a
good one.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Definitely.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
One of the biggest moments of the year, not only
on The Billy and Lisa Morning Show, but internationally nationally
was the Coldplay show.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Yes at Gillette, the cold Play couple cam video.
Speaker 7 (23:42):
Get there?
Speaker 5 (23:42):
Okay, So I was at the cold Play show the
night before, So the screens in question.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Were what you watched the whole show on. They were huge.
Speaker 5 (23:51):
So when this couple the second night popped up on
the screen and then ducked from behind, you're right, it
made international news.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
Wouldn't believe how big this story got.
Speaker 8 (24:02):
And it was brought to us from a talkbacker.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
Of course, it was number three.
Speaker 11 (24:06):
I just heard you talking about cold Play. I didn't
hear you mentioned the couple caught on jumpertron noodling each
other and the guys sliding down to avoid being seen,
and then the woman turning her back and then walking away.
Looks like an affair was caught in the open.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Yeah, we've seen the video and it's really Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
So Friday night when I was there, they did a
lot of that.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
They like used these giant screens and put people up
there and I just saw this one and even Chris
Martin comment and he's like, I don't know what's going
on there?
Speaker 2 (24:36):
It is it a fair.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
All right.
Speaker 9 (24:46):
Show?
Speaker 8 (24:48):
Because yeah, it's super weird.
Speaker 10 (24:54):
It was really awkward.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
He literally ducked down ran.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, he slid like and then she turned her whole face.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
She was like, what's going on with you?
Speaker 8 (25:06):
She returned, yeah, yeah, from the camp. That was super awkward.
We do have some details though thanks to the talkbackers
Lisa hasn't already.
Speaker 16 (25:15):
You guys need to touch on the kiss cam cold
plate affair last night, and if you haven't seen it,
as soon as this couple got on the jumper front,
they panicked, jumped off of each other, turned bright red,
and hid. And of course TikTok has already found the
first and last names of everybody involved, and he is
the CEO and astronomer and the woman he was with
(25:36):
is actually his co founder and he is definitely married
with two children. I'm not sure about her though.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
That's what happened all the time?
Speaker 4 (25:47):
What's she think?
Speaker 7 (25:48):
You guys?
Speaker 4 (25:49):
I know, it looked like he was in a private suite.
Speaker 9 (25:51):
It was.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
And you know, if the cameras and the kiss cam
is going to go somewhere, it's going.
Speaker 8 (25:55):
To be the private sweet And they did it all night,
I know, But you gotta think there's so many people there,
what are the chances of you getting on the kiss camp?
Now on the kiss camp?
Speaker 5 (26:04):
I know, But again, they were doing it all the time,
and I was like, oh my god, what if they
put us up on the you know, when I was
there with like my kids and stuff like that, I
was like, that'd be so fun. But you're right, what
were they were thinking? This is such a public event.
Speaker 17 (26:17):
Yeah, his reaction was really strange, the way the way
they were holding each other. This has been going on
for a very long time and they've been They have
not got caught because they were way too cocky. They
were way too cocky cuddling like that in public at
a concert. The girl next to them, I think was
with them. I think she knew what was going on too.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Do you think she's a cowork?
Speaker 4 (26:34):
She was, Oh my god that she knew she would
both of them.
Speaker 8 (26:37):
Yeah, she was headlights.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
But I mean, you know, we don't. We don't know
what's going on in his life. Yeah, they listen him
as married, but who knows.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
Maybe they're not married anymore, and maybe this is.
Speaker 8 (26:49):
We can speculate, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Man's just listening in about these Coldplay concert Huh. Looks
like the Coldplay concert was trying at the poor boy.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
It was quite the night.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
Oh my god, boy, I think he's having quite the morning.
Speaker 8 (27:10):
If anybody knows these people, you can remain anonymous. Yeah,
you can give us a call, leave us a talk back.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
Yeah, like there are a lot of people in their
little office suite, yes, standing with them.
Speaker 17 (27:21):
It was one of those things where I think everyone
knows in the office. But I mean, if his wife knew,
he would not have forgat like that. If he was
separated and not in a marriage and just happened to
be legally married and no one knew about it so
that they were geting a divorce, why would he do that.
Speaker 4 (27:36):
He's guilty. He looks so guilty.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
I actually gets really angry.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
You know, you don't know this guy.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
We really don't nothing about him.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
In the two children at home that I'm out of work.
Speaker 9 (27:51):
I don't want to know the cold Play show, but
I got to teake the clients out. Honey, I'll be back.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Yeah, there's something more to this.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
Yeah, you're probably right, but I think you're drawing a
lot of.
Speaker 17 (28:01):
Conclusion a little bit more than language has everything, and
that body language is guilty.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
He did slither down in a very creepy fashion.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
She ran away.
Speaker 8 (28:11):
It would be sad too if it was a side
chick and his real wife at home was a cold
Play fan.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
Oh my, she couldn't go because you didn't have enough
tickets for anybody outside the office.
Speaker 8 (28:21):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Yeah, I gotta take the office.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
It's a work nice Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
If somebody in that suite can call in or send
a talk back anonymously, yeah, please do.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
The woman that was standing next to them.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Now back to Billy and Lisa's Top twenty five moments
of twenty twenty five on Kiss one.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Okay, easily one of the top moments of the year
twenty twenty five. Actually, we're giving it number two for
the year. Lisa is Love on the Spectrum, Big hit
show on Netflix.
Speaker 5 (28:55):
Yeah, and Parry, who was on Love on the Spectrum
she stopped by the studio and we had so much
fun talking to her about the show and how it
happened and what she's doing now.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
Yeah, and our buddy Mike match here we featured earlier
in the countdown from WBZ Down the Hall, did a
really amazing piece on her and brought her into our studio, Justin.
Speaker 8 (29:14):
And also her videos that we posted had some of
the biggest amount of views of the whole year.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
That's incredible.
Speaker 8 (29:21):
Yeah, millions of views for Parry. I mean, everybody loved
her and just having her in the studio was one
of the most heartwarming moments.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
Five number two.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
I don't know if you've seen the show Love on
the Spectrum on Netflix, by the way, currently trending number
seven on Netflix in terms of TV shows. And we've
got a buddy of ours, Matt Heer, who works down
the Hall our sister station, WBZ News Radio. Matt, good
to see you again.
Speaker 9 (29:45):
Yeah, good to see you, Billy, Lisa Winnie, Justin.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
Matt, I'm going to say it on the year. You
are one of the best journalists there is out there
right now. You are amazingly gifted, so and you landed
on a story and you found Parry him because Perry
Kim is local and somehow landed on the show. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
This is like two years ago.
Speaker 9 (30:07):
I was doing a story over at Porter Square on
the Red Line and this character came up to me
with so much personality, so much passion for the MBT,
and I was like, this is amazing. Story didn't end
up making it to the air for one reason or another,
but I held onto that footage for years, thinking like, gosh,
I hope I can meet this person again and like
share her story, do something special. One thing leads to another.
(30:29):
I'm watching the trailer for Love on the Spectrum season
three and I'm like, there she.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Is right here in studio. Honey, good to see you too.
Speaker 10 (30:38):
Thanks for having me.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
How you doing so good? Good so far.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
We're gonna get breakfast. Thank you.
Speaker 10 (30:45):
I really feel celebrity.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
If you don't mind, Justin, can we play some of
match Report with Parry News?
Speaker 5 (30:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (30:53):
Oh my god, what's what's going on?
Speaker 7 (30:55):
Hey?
Speaker 9 (30:55):
I'm Matt Sheerer from WVZ News Radio.
Speaker 10 (30:58):
I'm I'm a huge fan of the MBTA. I just
want to say they see us. Thank you so much
for giving me a great way to get around Boston.
Without the cars, I just feel like free, like it
can go anywhere. And I whish everyone loved the tea
as much as I did.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
So that happened back in twenty twenty three.
Speaker 10 (31:14):
Oh my god, it's like an underground kingdom.
Speaker 9 (31:16):
I was working on a totally unrelated story and that
self proclaimed tea princess showed up like a party crasher.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
Who's so chill that everyone, let's go fistball?
Speaker 9 (31:26):
You for did get to use that footage, but I
always wondered what became of that purple princess known as Parry.
Speaker 8 (31:32):
And then one day I was watching TV.
Speaker 10 (31:34):
I'm Parry, I'm twenty two years old.
Speaker 9 (31:36):
Parry had been chosen for the hit Netflix Docky series
Love on the Spectrum.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
Wow, well, Parry, we know how Matt got the story
through perseverance. How did you end up on Love on
the Spectrum.
Speaker 10 (31:48):
So what happened was someone I know from the temusic
called it's a great shell. It's loco. You should totally
see it at the rockwell be the Davis Square. She
sent me a link on Instagram Graham for a casting
call for season three, and so I looked at that
and then I emailed the producers and set up an
interview on Zoom Salt that went well, and then as
(32:11):
minute after the interview ended, I literally got a call
back saying they want to fall through to the next step.
Things went from there and you could say the rest
is history.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
Wow, and everything's going viral up to an including your piece.
Speaker 7 (32:25):
Matt. That's right.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
Yeah, I just hit a million views last night.
Speaker 10 (32:29):
A million last night.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
Yeah. Oh that's cool.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
Yeah, that's incredible.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
I know, just a day later.
Speaker 9 (32:34):
No, but again, it's just all because Perry is just
such a lovable, fun character. Like if you've watched the
show the Perry that you see on TV, I can
confirm and you all can confirm now in this room
is the Perry you get in real.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Well, it's authentic. Yeah, absolutely, thank you.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
I'm still not really clear Matt on how you encountered
Parry for the first time.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
Were you out looking for her?
Speaker 9 (32:53):
No, she came up to me.
Speaker 4 (32:55):
I was doing a story about the escalator, and I'll
just say it.
Speaker 9 (32:58):
The escalator at Top Order Square, if you know, it's
like the longest eleuator in the world, and when it
goes out, people have to walk up those massive staircase
and so I was just talking to random people and
she happened to be one of them, and she walked
up those really long staters to me and we were.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
All out of breath, like, how you doing, I'm good,
I'm good, and so it was great.
Speaker 9 (33:17):
And then the funny thing was, so when I was
setting up this follow up interview, I wanted to do
something special, so I asked the MBTA, I'm like, look,
she has had every MBTA experience ever at this point,
probably been to every station. Is there somewhere else we
can take her? And they said, yeah, we have this
training facility that I guarantee you she's never seen. We've
got a blue line trained down there, a green line
sliver lying she can sit in the driver's seat, push
(33:38):
all the buttons, and that was gonna be it, but
I guess they had to get approval at the state level.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
And that's sure.
Speaker 9 (33:44):
Governor Mora Healy found out about this, and I've never
told you this, Perry, but apparently she's a big fan
of yours. So she was originally going to try to
be there too, but she had to back out. She's
a very busy governor. So I said, well, man, is
there somebody else another public figure who would want to come.
I was like, what about the mayor, Mayor Wu? And
of course she was down. And I had no idea
(34:06):
that Perry was such a Mayor Wu fan until we
were riding the tea to meet her, when I said,
what's your dream MBTA experience and she said riding the
tea with Mayor Wu.
Speaker 4 (34:15):
Having no idea that we were on our way to
meet her. Whoa, and you got to ride the tea
with Mayor Wu.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
Parry is so cool.
Speaker 10 (34:22):
Oh my gosh, I just can't believe it. It's like,
I guess stars struck around here. And I love how
she's pro polic trance and she's doing so much good
for Boston and I really think it's all on her tap.
He was the mayor of her city.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
And you got to meet her baby.
Speaker 10 (34:36):
Yeah, so cute. Even had a funny moment where she
said she had to change their folds because they had
a little poops.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
Of everything.
Speaker 9 (34:48):
Yeah, it probably happened while we were while she was
waiting for us, and shout out to the mayor for like,
you know, being very generous with our time. Things were
not running on schedule for on our end, so we
got there, but she was so cool. She waited around
and she met Perry and it was awesome. And your
other dream, I think Perry is Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Right, how's that going?
Speaker 10 (35:06):
Oh my gosh, I would do anything to meet her.
She's my eye do. I've loved her ever since I
was little. Her music resonates to me so much. How
she's listening, I hope she'll take note to maybe come
or follow me or knows me on social media.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
She does have a house in Rhode Island.
Speaker 10 (35:23):
My gosh, it's so pretty. I've been right near there.
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
And by the way, the Billy and Lisa Morning Show
is kind of a big deal, and iHeart is kind
of a big company. Who knows she might hear about
you making an appearance here and wanting to meet her,
and knowing Taylor Swift, she could very well reach.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Out to us and make something happen. I'm not promising
about it. Who knows.
Speaker 10 (35:42):
I would love that my dreams ha just come true.
My life would be complete. I oh my god, the
fangirl when I followed them back on TikTok on Instagram,
that will be me with Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
So, how has your life changed since meeting Matt Sheer
and going on Netflix.
Speaker 10 (36:00):
Oh wow, it's just it's incredible. It's like overnight, My
followers have been like boom, skyrocketing. Like I went from
like eight K followers before the show to now almost
one hundred and fifty k thenk last I checked them,
currently out one hundred and thirty nine K. My TikTok's
gone from three hundred follows to like fifty one k.
Speaker 15 (36:21):
Wow, incredible.
Speaker 10 (36:24):
One of my videos are actually now two of them
have reached a million views of just ones of me.
That's crazy. I'm just freaking out, like, oh my god.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Now do you DM most of your followers? Do you
communicate with them at all?
Speaker 10 (36:41):
I try to get back to them. I have so
many requests, like I'm trying to answer all of them.
But yes, I like to DM with my fans and
interact with them to just show them how great I am.
All their love and support it means the world to me.
Speaker 3 (36:54):
How about what the Netflix show?
Speaker 4 (36:56):
Have you gotten to meet a lot of special people
and have they become friends or Oh?
Speaker 7 (37:00):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (37:01):
Before aired, I got to go to la for the
premiere of it, and I got to meet all the
main participants. It was a dream. Also the producers too,
and some of the Netflix pr people.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
Is really okay, you were on a Hollywood red carpet.
Speaker 10 (37:16):
Yeah, well except it was blue for hats of awareness.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
They do it so right, Netflix, isn't it why they are?
Speaker 10 (37:24):
Oh my gosh, Yeah, I follow me on Instagram. Not bracking,
but yeah, follow Netflix.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
They got.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
And with you and Tina oh terrific.
Speaker 10 (37:39):
Oh my gosh, she's just the best. She's made my
life complete. She's like the other half of me. She's
like the Green Line extensions. Have I hardered the Amtrak
to my commuter rail? I say, she wears blue and
I wear purple, so it's like perfect. She shares my
energy and vibes, and she's outspoken, an advocate for things
she believes in and fights far and I love that
(38:00):
bell heart. That could just be myself around her. I
don't have to try to hide anything I love.
Speaker 9 (38:05):
I don't know if you have all seen the show yet,
but you know, I'm sorry for the spoilers, but Harry
is like the only one on the show who like
got it right on the first day. Yeah, where it's
like everyone else had to go through some duds and
be like, sorry, there's no connection, whereas Harry and Tina
it was immediate sparks.
Speaker 10 (38:20):
Love at first.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
It's cool for you, but were like, come on, we
need drama. So unlike The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, your
love is real, Like this is lasting.
Speaker 10 (38:30):
Yes, that's how I love about the Shoul. There's no drama,
no cattiness, no like standards, Like it's all just refreshing
and authentic, Like we just get to be ourself and
tell our story on our own terms. And I think
that's what makes the show stand out such a fan favor,
Like it's refreshing in the world with so much drama,
like to just have something where he can shine and
(38:51):
everyone can feel good, like people you want to root for.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
I gotta tell you, Parry, you are such a special person.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
You light up a room when you walk in.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
You're so kind.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
But I have to ask why the tea all the things?
Speaker 2 (39:06):
And do you have a favorite route?
Speaker 7 (39:09):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (39:09):
So Ever since I moved to Boston, I feel like
I've had so much independence because I don't want to drive,
and it's so glad I don't have to because obviously
we know I'm not driving in Boston. You like why
she even tries look at the traffic.
Speaker 7 (39:22):
Ever.
Speaker 10 (39:24):
Yeah, so I have independence. I could go on buses
and trains and just get to where I need to be.
I don't have to wait for someone to just pick
me up. It's just amazing and oh my gosh, all
the friends I've made and people I met. It's really
opened up the whole new stuff doors for me. Some
of my favorite routes, so I really have the Red Line,
it's gone much faster, and you can't beat the view
(39:46):
over the lawn Fellow Bridge, and obviously the commuter rail
two is it's purple. That's my favorite column.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
How are you.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
Charge of marketing and advertising, Matt, I'm guessing you through
your story, I'm guessing.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
You've found a friend for life with absolutely.
Speaker 8 (40:07):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 9 (40:08):
She's so much fun to hang out with and I
can't wait to go on more tea ventures with you.
Speaker 4 (40:12):
Sometimes me too.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
Yeah, we'll bring Tina along next time.
Speaker 10 (40:15):
Awesome, Yes, the other tea.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
It's so funny.
Speaker 9 (40:18):
So Tina I went to have after watching the show,
I went to follow her and U little unbeknownst to me,
we had messaged over the years, because I guess she
was already following me, sending me like story ideas.
Speaker 4 (40:30):
So now I'm gonna yeah.
Speaker 9 (40:31):
So now we're gonna actually set something up where we
do an interview because she's interesting. She she has a
visual impairment which she talks about on the show, and
she's got a story as well about accessibility.
Speaker 4 (40:41):
In the Wow, it's cool. So I'll tell you what, Parry, Uh,
when Tina comes to town, we as a radio program.
We'll see to it that you go to the concert
of your choice within resalen. Possibly Taylor, I said, possibly Taylor.
When you'll get on that right, We'll make it happen.
(41:04):
We'll make something, make something happen, your first date in
Boston with Tina. Okay, we'll set it.
Speaker 10 (41:09):
Up for Oh my gosh, yes, I really hope I
get me Taylor, me the world, Like that's been dream
ever since I've I was lit on people off said like, oh,
it will probably never happen, but I want to prove
them wrong. Like impossible is not the same as difficult,
Like I know other fans that matter. I know it
can happen even if it's hard. I'm not giving up
because look I where I am now, Like I never
(41:31):
thought I would be on Netflix on a docky reality
TV series like when I was little. I just I
never knew like that all this is possible, for.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
Anything's possible.
Speaker 10 (41:44):
Yeah, I always spend that half whole kind of person
so optimistic, like I hold on to my dreams. I
clutch those stars. I don't let go even though something
are like it's hard or more pessimistic. I just don't
give up. I'm stubborn like that, but I think it's
for the best. And I'm happy because I keep persevering
till I get what I want.
Speaker 4 (42:04):
Well, you know what, Parry, we can all learn from you,
And thank you for coming on to share your story.
And Matt, thanks for finding this for you.
Speaker 10 (42:11):
Thanks Ary, You've been to terrific Hulse. It's been amazing, terrifically.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
Now back to Billy and Lisa's Top twenty five moments
of twenty twenty five on his one eight.
Speaker 4 (42:23):
Okay, we're ready for the top story on the Billy
and Lisa Morning Show for twenty twenty five, and I
just want to say, at the outset, I did not
pick this as the top story because I or members
of my family might be involved.
Speaker 5 (42:35):
Okay, but it definitely was our number one moment and
it was our number one interview to.
Speaker 4 (42:41):
So over the past year or so, my son Chris
Costa has become a full partner of Tom Brady in
Chris's company, card Vault, which now is card Vault by
Tom Brady. And I remember this particular morning, Tom Brady
was traveling, he was on the go, he was with
his daughter, and he was very busy, and we were
(43:02):
fighting to get him on the show that morning.
Speaker 8 (43:04):
Just yeah, we spent the whole morning like like literally
trying to get him on the air, and from a
producer's standpoint, for me, it was so nerve wracking because
I'm like, is it gonna happen?
Speaker 7 (43:13):
Him?
Speaker 8 (43:14):
By the end of the show, he made it in time.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
And he talked about everything, including my son and his
relationship with my son, about the company card Vault, He.
Speaker 5 (43:21):
Talked about Coachella and bring his oldest son, and it
was just it was really.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
Really really cool event Number one.
Speaker 3 (43:30):
Let's go allow me to reinduce myself.
Speaker 4 (43:33):
My name is he stood up. I used to hold
snowplace I am I guess even back well and good
morning Tom Brady, Good morning.
Speaker 7 (43:44):
I love that song. It gets up.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
Well, that was a special moment when you were honored
out at Jillette Stadium. You came out onto the field
and that song played, people went nuts.
Speaker 7 (43:57):
Yeah, that was such a special day for my family
and just to I think the culmination of a lot
of great years, so many fun times, and so many
great people that have been a part of my life.
Speaker 8 (44:08):
So that was that one.
Speaker 7 (44:09):
Won't ever be recreated. RKK went over the top on
that one. That was a really special night.
Speaker 4 (44:14):
So is that always going to be a walk in song?
Like You're on Fallin next week? That's going to be
the song?
Speaker 7 (44:21):
That's a pretty you know, it's been a lot of
years going out to it, so it just gets me
in the frame of mind. We're all trying to get
that into that mode and get our game face on,
and that song did it for me for a long
time now.
Speaker 4 (44:32):
The phrase let's go. Did you ever try to nail
that down and make it your own legally?
Speaker 7 (44:38):
I know, you know, I think about it and then
I hear it all the time. And the best part
about that it can mean so many different things depending
on the tone and how you say it. And there
was a lot of those where I looked at jewel
as like let's go, and you could use it about
I don't know, five seven different ways and it it's
(45:00):
a very versatile combination of words. So I use it
a lot of times to get fired up, and that
fired a lot of other people. But I see a
lot of people use it now, so well, that's a
pretty good one.
Speaker 4 (45:11):
It's so cool and it must feel so good for you, Tom,
because you see videos of high school and middle school
football teams and even young kids in high school and
college doing the Let's go thing that you created.
Speaker 7 (45:23):
Yeah, a lot of years of it, and it's just
a yeah, man. There's a lot of things that I
looked up to and a lot of people I looked
up to in my career. So I don't know, it's
always we'll give a little bit back. Hopefully a lot
of the young kids could drop the middle word in
that little series, so the PG.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
Version, yeah, we can suggest it. So I got to
set the scene.
Speaker 4 (45:45):
Okay, Tom, I've got my son, Chrissy, your partner with
cod Vault by Tom Brady. I'm here, Billy, I've got
Lisa here. Justin is here, a win, he's here, Producer
Riley is here, and if you don't mind. Tom, we
have a fatthead of you sitting in the main chair
so that we can actually see you while we're talking
to you.
Speaker 7 (46:05):
Oh that makes me feel better. Well, then I'm kind
of in there, not even virtually. I'm actually a standy
is standing in for me that.
Speaker 4 (46:12):
I gotta tell you, Tom, not your best picture. No,
you have pink eye in the picture.
Speaker 7 (46:20):
Chris, get on it. I'm on good image, Tom, I'm on.
Speaker 9 (46:25):
Tom.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
I got to say something, proud dad to proud dad,
I need to thank you so much for believing in
my son Chris in card Fault. Thank you, thank you,
thank you so much.
Speaker 7 (46:39):
Yeah, I can't. You know, there's thanks for me to
be involved with him and the whole crew at card Vault.
We just it's always about the right teammates and it's
about everybody playing their job. And I think when you're
involved with the right people and the right teammates and
people have humility and a work ethic, you know, there's
(47:02):
no limit to what can be accomplished. And you know,
we're doing this with a great collectible business, and it's
a great hobby and I've been a collector for a
long time, but it's really about how do we take
our collective expertise and share it with the masses to
create a new generation of collectors like we were when
(47:25):
and like I was when I was a kid. So
I love partnering with your son. He's a wonderful man.
You've done a great job. And there's nothing like being
a dad to seeing your kids grow up and being
happy and fulfilled. And that's a great journey for all
of us as parents.
Speaker 4 (47:41):
Tom. I remember when I was a kid, we collected
baseball cards. We kept them in shoe boxes, and we
played a game on people's stoops.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
I think it was called Leaners or something.
Speaker 4 (47:51):
Well, you would line the cards up against the wall
and throw other cards and knock as many down as
you could. I'm guessing you never played that.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Game came.
Speaker 7 (48:00):
See, you guys didn't realize that if you damage the
corner of the cards grading service was going to deduct
you a card. You're going to be worked. But see,
by the time I was collecting, everything went in a
plastic sleeve. Yeah, not quite grated like it is now,
but there's it turned into it to a great hobby
that I think speaks to you know what a lot
(48:20):
of people are trying to do in their life and
creating these nostalgic memories through collecting and learning about people's biographies.
And I wrote about it this last week. So many
of the benefits of collecting, you know, shine through on
what we're doing these days.
Speaker 4 (48:36):
Yeah, I read it. I read your blog and you
said I learned about fractions and percentages and averages and
probabilities through trading cards.
Speaker 7 (48:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
I was not.
Speaker 7 (48:47):
I don't tell my kids this. I was not much
of a great student. I told this to my son
this last weekend. We actually went to Coachella for who
happened to be out there in Palm Springs, And we
had a great time. And we're driving back and I said, listen, like,
your dad wasn't the best student in the world. As
my daughter just walks in. I I had my precious
(49:09):
little girl that just walked in. She's home from school,
not feeling great. Oh, she gets to hang with her
dad today. Tom.
Speaker 3 (49:16):
Did you think for a second that we did not
know you were at Coachella with your son, Jack.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
I think the world knows you were at Coachella.
Speaker 7 (49:23):
I know we went there. We were with my parents
for Easter and it happened to be Coachella and we
were across the street and Travis Scott was there and
Dad said, Dad, we gotta go to this And I said,
I said, Jack, he comes on at eleven forty five.
You know that's two forty five East Coast time. I'm
normally waking up it for you, I'm to start my day.
How am I going to stay awake? And it didn't
(49:47):
take much, A little two hour nap before the show
in a warm shower, and then we were good to go.
Speaker 4 (49:52):
Well, you boy, Jack might be a big fan, but
we saw you dancing around to Travis Scott.
Speaker 7 (49:57):
I know I had a great I'm a huge fan
of And he's just he's a very humble guy and
he's worked extremely hard. I think he's a very hard
working guy, very creative, and you know, I love people
that that always start trying to do things differently. And
he's he's certainly created his own brand and music, but
also in merchandising. You know, I look at what he's
(50:20):
done with his shoe collection. Man, he's he's he's a
very impressive guy at such a young age.
Speaker 4 (50:25):
I think Justin's wearing the shoes right now in his duty,
so he's.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
Holding him up in the air.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
I like it.
Speaker 4 (50:32):
Wow. So how about your playlist, Like, what do you
drive around listening to during the course of the day.
Speaker 7 (50:39):
You know what, I'm pretty diversified in my music choice.
It's all depends on the mood I'm in. If I'm
working out, it's one thing, it's and if I'm if
I'm hanging out in the backyard, it's another. But right
now i'd see if you saw my playlist, i'd be
between Morgan Wallin, Pros Malone, Travis Scott jay Z. Yeah,
(51:02):
probably you two. Still those are probably my five top ones.
Speaker 4 (51:06):
Diversification school, a lot of diversification there. Yeah, I know.
So you guys got off to an amazing start in
New Jersey a couple of weeks ago. I think there
were like ten thousand people. There are twenty thousand people.
And I got to ask you, Tom, your arm looked
very nfl ready is there.
Speaker 7 (51:27):
A chance, I know, Billy, I those days have come
and gone. Unfortunately, I Uh, it's time for the next
generation to do it. And I had people. I had
my Montana Steve Young people I looked up to, and
John Elway and Dan Marino and now it's time for
(51:47):
these young kids to do it, so I get to
I get to view it from a different seat.
Speaker 4 (51:51):
Man, you would throw in sixty seventy yard bombs, darts.
It was incredible. Before I let you go, Tom, do
you still have the boat?
Speaker 7 (52:01):
I have a I actually sold the boat, and I
have a smaller boat because it's a little easier to
maneuver around this this Miami Bay where I live now.
So it's the bigger, the seventy seven foot boat.
Speaker 6 (52:13):
That thing.
Speaker 7 (52:14):
It just was a little hard to kind of get
where I needed to go. And interestingly, in Miami you
use it as a means of transportation. Here it's not
just recreational. So I have a little smaller one now
that I share with my friend.
Speaker 4 (52:25):
Well, I got to tell you Tom, now that you're
my new son. We do have a family putt put
here in Boston. You know, seventy feet or so, and
you're welcome on it anytime if you want to get
back out in the water here in Boston.
Speaker 8 (52:43):
I love it.
Speaker 7 (52:43):
I appreciate And when we open our car Vault by
Tom Brady down here in Miami, you better come down to.
Speaker 3 (52:48):
That opening count right, Do I get on the boat.
Speaker 7 (52:52):
Absolutely, But I have a little boat. We love a
little boat, tost It's a little sunset boat toast.
Speaker 4 (52:56):
Oh, there you go, there you go.
Speaker 3 (52:57):
We don't have to throw a trophy out into the
water or something stupid. Right, those days are gone. Tom.
Speaker 4 (53:03):
I can't thank you enough. I hope your daughter feels better.
But again, thank you so much for taking care of
my son and keeping an eye on him and partnering
with him. And you're a good guy.
Speaker 8 (53:12):
Tom.
Speaker 7 (53:13):
I appreciate you.
Speaker 8 (53:14):
Guys.
Speaker 7 (53:14):
Good luck, and I hope everything is great in Boss.
I know the marathon was yesterday. My boy, Teddy Bruski
had a team running for stroke awareness. I always pay
attention to that and all the runners. And that's such
a special day in our city. And I used to
live there on Beacon Street, and that day signified a
lot of things. And it signified that we were getting
closer to football season, which is kind of the start
(53:36):
of the off season in the springtime and spring workout,
so it's a good time of year up there in
the Northeast.
Speaker 4 (53:42):
See Tom, that's why you're so special. You remember things,
he remembers. Oh God, we love you, Tom Brady, Thanks brother.
Speaker 7 (53:50):
Thanks guys, great to talk to. You take care.
Speaker 8 (53:52):
Well.
Speaker 4 (53:52):
At least there you go the year twenty twenty five.
Not all of the moments twenty five we thought should
have made the list.
Speaker 5 (53:58):
Exactly, And if you want to live all of these
moments you can find it. Just search Billy and Lisa
in the morning on the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (54:05):
And you know what else, Lisa, we really really want
to thank the listeners, the talkbackers, I mean, they're such
a great group.
Speaker 5 (54:13):
All of your input throughout the year makes our show
that much more special and we are just so thankful,
right and grateful that we have all of you listening
and that you can take part in the show.
Speaker 4 (54:25):
And we hope you have a wonderful holiday season and
a happy new year. And we'll see you in twenty
twenty six, Yes we will.
