Speaker 1 (00:00):
We sure are, and Happy Thursday to everybody. It's going
to be a beautiful day, right late.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Gorgeous day, but chili like definitely like feels like faul today,
like a hive sixty. But then this weekend it goes
back up into the eighties.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Oh boy, and we get a lot going on. Taylor
Swartz album comes out midnight tonight, right, yes, so that's
going on, and we're also at one o'clock today, we're
going to countdown the album release with a new era
every single hour, a new era, which is pretty cool
stuff when you think of it.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I can't wait to hear this album, like I can't.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
I just can't wait.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
So tonight at midnight, yeah, she'll be on Kiss, she'll
be talking it up, she'll be telling stories. And then
we have this amazing VIP party tomorrow night at the
Liberty Hotel to celebrate the Life of a Showgirl. And
it's hosted by me and Mikey v It's open to
the public.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
It starts at eight o'clock.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
It's twenty one plus, but we've got this special VIP
section and we're going to give.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
We're giving away tickets right now exactly, so we need
to call A twenty six one seven, nine three one
one one eight. This is going to be so huge
because we don't do a dual prize very often. So
you're gonna have the VIP passes for the Liberty Hotel
with Lisa and Mike give you tomorrow night, and then
you also get VIP passes for the screening invite only

(01:17):
Saturday morning. So this is a big prize. Caller twenty
five six, one seven, nine one one eight. And you
know what again, I'm going to make the code word Liberty.
It's the Liberty Hotel VIP party Tomorrow night. And you've
got a book club de charcab.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
You know what else is really fun Monday.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
We keep the party going.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So right now, if you DM me Lisa Donovan one
o eight, you can get into my book club for
free on Monday night. It's at the Revere Hotel with
Patricia Cornwell. Her new book is called Sharp Force and
she's the Scarpeta series.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
That's the Scarpetta series.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
That she she's written like twenty nine books. It's being
made into a series starring Nicole Kidman that's coming out
on Amazon newly single Whoa twenty six.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
And well it's kind of cool that the breakup happened
and we've got that to talk about it, and it's.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Any Patricia has very good friends with Nicole and with
Jamie Lee Curtis, who star in this new series.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
What do you think that's like being Nicole Kidman's friend.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
I think it's kind of cooler if she has any
boring inside information. Yeah, anyway, she would share any of
that stuff that's personal.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Well, you know what, I'm going to ask her some
questions on stage. Your gint to pull her exactly and
you can be there. Just DM me Lisa Donovan one
oh eight. And then if you want to purchase the
book and have it signed by her, the link is
also on my bio to come to the event.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
So wow, going on.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Talk about keeping the momentum going around here, When when
does it stop? We have a jingle Ball on sale
tomorrow at noon. We have the Taylor Slipped album and
everything that we're doing with that into Saturday morning and
int Lisa's book Club Monday, and.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Don't forget right before that was the whole Secret Sound thing.
So we've just had one thing after another. We gave
away a lot.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Of money for Secret Sound, and by the way, I'm saying,
there could be more money on the horizon in some capacity.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
That's all I'm going to say. You got to listen
and find out like a lot of money. That's no questions.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Just you know, if you like money and you like winning,
and you like things like jingle Ball, that could be
something coming.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Just adding that to the mix too. But right now
we're focused on the Taylor VIP passage for the Liberty
tomorrow night as well as the screening Saturday morning. And
all we need is a color to one. Yeh, let's
go to Diana online. Two.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
She's in Peabody, Peabody, Diana, you're college twenty five.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
I've called so many.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
Times him Sorr, i'mus.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Okay, don't be nervous, just be excited. You're coming to
the party. Yeah I am, Yeah you are. So we'll
say Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi everyone.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
Oh my gosh, I hear you guys every morning, and
oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Well thank you. We love Peabody and the Peabody Tanners. Yes, yes, tanners,
go tanners. All right, you need to hold on, okay,
and you'll talk to producer Riley and you're gonna see
and meet Lisa dunnaman and mikey V tomorrow night at
the Liberty Hotel.

Speaker 8 (04:24):
Awesome, Thank you so much, and you get.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
To celebrate Taylor. Yeah, Lisa kiss one o eight. So
there was a big brawl outside the MGM Music Hall
on Lansdowne Street in Boston last night. Who was the
performer there last night?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Justin That would be rapper Kevin Gates. Oh you know
if you're familiar. No, no, two phones doesn't ring a bell.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
No, you know.

Speaker 8 (04:49):
He gave me twenty dollars one time.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
What.

Speaker 8 (04:51):
Yeah, we were at the old building.

Speaker 9 (04:53):
I was an intern and he was doing an interview
when he's just coming up and he wanted ice for
his fanta. We had no ice, had to go getting
down the street to get mice. He gave me twenty bucks.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Really yeah, how about this one?

Speaker 3 (05:03):
He did the summer jam for the Jam and Show
years ago, and I helped out during that show and.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
He came in full Muslim It was.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Ramadand yeah, yeah, so he had the whole outfit on,
the Muslim outfit with the head thing. Really could not
touch him at all. You can't be touched during Ramadan. Yeah,
he doesn't eat. He fasted for like thirty days or
whatever it is. Who's this guy, Kevin Gates. He's a rapper. Yeah, yeah,
So you got to think about it. When he came
back into the backstage area, you know, people are taking pictures,
there are fans there, there's staff there and very strict

(05:34):
you could not touch him.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
But they don't know that. The fans in general.

Speaker 9 (05:37):
They we told them and I remember this because I
was working that show, but he was he was hugging
Shalen Are like promotions director.

Speaker 8 (05:45):
I thought, we couldn't touch you, sir.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
I took a picture with him and I had to
stay like six inches away from him. I was nervous
the whole time that I was going to touch him.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
So anyway, he was there, and I'm guessing it was
probably a sold out show at MGM Great Venue by
the way, and somehow a fight broke out. Police were
called in, they had to use tasers. We got a
guy that was actually there sounds like every guy I
grew up with on the Freedom All. I just looked
to my left.

Speaker 10 (06:10):
I heard the door open and I saw a cop
get hit in the face and then come piling out
of the door and there was like a pile up.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
There were like ten people coming flooding out, throwing hands.
It was pretty insane. Oh, you don't want a cop
to get hit in the face, not at all.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
So it sounds like the fight started inside during the show. Yeah,
you know, some enemies that ran into each.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Other and it comes crashing out the front doors on
into the corner of Landsdown Street.

Speaker 10 (06:35):
There.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
It happens at these shows sometimes especially, you know, it's
alcohol involves.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
You know, but where does the anger come from. You're
at a concert, you're having fun, You're hanging out with
some buddies, some friends, family, whatever.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
It's usually like for me, anytime that I ever got
into any kind of situation, it's usually like you're with
your friends, your boys, and you know, something happens with
somebody else and yeah, with their boys and their.

Speaker 9 (06:58):
Crews, ego, ego and drunkenness.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
If someone wants to fight me now at this point
in my life, I'll just go home.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I like it's nice and that's ironic because now you
could really hurt them. Well no, yeah, with all those muscles,
not a fighter. Yeah, can you play his song again?
Following phones?

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Yeah, his shows have been known to be rowdy there
a second night because I would go tonight.

Speaker 11 (07:25):
You like that?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah, what's his name again? His name is Kevin Gates.
Kevin Gates, Babe, Let's go Jeff Gates. I know Jeff Gates.
Heels like a restauranteur in Bill Bill Gates, and then
there's Bill Gates. No relation. I don't think Kevin Gates.
Let's go.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Now.

Speaker 8 (07:44):
The entertainment updated.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
With the Billy Godsdat my buddy Miles Smith right there,
coming in for jingle Ball December fourteenth, And a reminder
of the general public sale is tomorrow at noon. You've
got to get in early, right least? Yeah, you do, God,
come out super fast. These tickets are just gonna disappear
tomorrow at noon. So we've talked a lot about Bad

(08:07):
Money doing the Super Bowl halftime show. Well, he's gonna
be the guest host of Saturday Night Live this week,
the season premiere, by the way, and the promo for
this week's show dropped yesterday. No, it's so cool that
Bad Money's back.

Speaker 8 (08:21):
I feel like he's been.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Here a lot recently. I think he's getting comfortable with us. Yeah,
for sure. I just I can't tell if he's like
too comfortable.

Speaker 10 (08:29):
Are young?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
It's okay that I'm using you tube brush? Right? What
I give about you? Thank you? SUPs lut he says,
what I love the way we yoke. I don't know
me that well year around. Let's go for a coffee.
So it's cool that my first day on your place
for the.

Speaker 12 (08:47):
Week, right, today's literally my first day.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Friend, his baby, his dog, be careful, he bite the dog.

Speaker 11 (08:54):
All of that.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I'm gonna go ah, and you tell me if he's trip.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Ah, Yeah, I bet she's fine.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Let me go. Such just a lot bad money. The
guest host Dojacat the musical guest. That is a big
episode to kick off the new season of Saturday Night Live,
and it's this weekend. Dojakat on fallon last night, hyping
the new album supposedly inspired by the eighties.

Speaker 12 (09:24):
I took a turn into I was making some stuff
before that in France, and then I was like, I
want to make eighties stuff out of nowhere. And yeah,
it started with Y two K and Curtis McKenzie and
I was, you know, getting beats from them, and then
I feel like I needed.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
More to it.

Speaker 12 (09:40):
And Jack added a lot of incredible instruments and you know,
sax players and things like that, amazing stuff.

Speaker 8 (09:48):
Onto the right.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Yeah, the Jack she's talking about, Jack Antonoff, who helps
Taylor does most of her stuff and they're really good
friends too. On Fallon last night, she did the song
Scramble Game. This is hilarious. It's a melody of one
song matched with lyrics of another and she was given
out of left field Vanessa Carlton's one thousand Miles and

(10:11):
TLCS no scrubs. Do they get any prep time on
this segment? You know, that's a great question.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
I think they do have to have.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
They all seem very comfortable. Arianna did a famous brand
of it, and she was the same way, like she
knew what was coming.

Speaker 9 (10:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Now, every time we play one of those segments where
we asked the same question, they must have had had too.

Speaker 8 (10:33):
They have to agree to it. They have to know
what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
You could just draw a blank when they turn it
on anyway. The Rocks new movie, The Smashing Machine, hits
theaters tomorrow. It also stars Emily Blunt, and she was
on Kimmel this week confirming this movie was the Rocks
passion project.

Speaker 13 (10:50):
I knew he'd been restless about doing something more dramatic
and a bit of a kind of rib cage open
when it comes to kind of a cinematic endeavor. But
I think when this came along, I don't know who
else could play that part. And it's based on a
documentary called The Smashing Machine. And Mark Kerr was the
pioneer of heavyweight MMA. And yet in the nineties there

(11:14):
was wasn't really the kind of audience that it has now,
and these guys used to just decimate themselves.

Speaker 8 (11:21):
Addiction was a huge issue.

Speaker 13 (11:22):
I mean, a lot of them fell down that rabbit hole.
And I think the film is less about the guy
with his fist in the air. It's really about struggle.
And I felt dj knew a lot about that.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Now I'm going to tell you the Rock and Emily
were on Good Morning America a few minutes ago, and
justin he looked more ripped than ever before in his
band Lon shirt this morning.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
He's not as big as he was for the movie,
but he's in fantastic shape. I mean, he locked himself
away for twelve weeks in Vancouver and no friends, no family.
All he did was eat and train for this role.

Speaker 8 (11:55):
Oh that sounds fun. Yeah, just I have to eat and train.
Do you just notice that everyone calls him DJ, that
are like his co stars?

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Yeah, they don't call him the Rock only we call HI.

Speaker 8 (12:04):
Yeah, but they were saying, like Dwayne or whatever.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
His nickname is. His nickname is DJ. Yeah, it's so funny.

Speaker 9 (12:09):
He's not referred to as DJ anywhere else unless someone's
talking about him.

Speaker 8 (12:13):
Yeah, the movie's on.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
I found that out because his wife is from Lynnfield.

Speaker 10 (12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
I was just gonna say that. She's an artist and
we had her on before when she had a song
on a few years ago.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Grew up with my sons.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Yeah, and I talked to her and her sister. Shout
out to her sister as well, and I was trying
to book the Rock on the show, and she was like,
you have to understand justin DJ's schedule is booked up
three or four years in advance. Yeah, like the chances
are slim to none.

Speaker 8 (12:36):
We love you, but yeah, but we should try now
sow we can get for twenty thirty.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Yeah, pretty much, good luck with that. Louis Tomlinson from
One Direction is launching a solo tour and he comes
to the TD Garden with a July fourteenth, and he's
bringing a brand new song.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
I guess Netflix is doing a documentary with Zane and Louie.
They're following them around touring the US for some sort
of cool documentary coming out next year.

Speaker 8 (13:02):
I think it's a small residency in Vegas too.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Yeah. Yeah, oh, I think we had that a few
weeks ago, right, Yeah.

Speaker 9 (13:07):
He honestly, he has more of an arm v vibe.
I don't really know what Louis vibe is. Maybe it's pop.

Speaker 8 (13:12):
I mean, I guess it's kind of happy.

Speaker 9 (13:13):
But lemonade he never He's probably did the least solo
than anybody, honestly.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Yeah, if you think back to the group, is he
the least paid attention to them all?

Speaker 9 (13:22):
No, he is, I would say though he did have
a lot of loss after the band. His mom died,
his sister died, he had like a baby. I think
he had a lot of personal stuff going on. But
I think everyone was surprised that Nile actually is probably
the biggest so Harry, But Harry takes too much time
in between Nile's always going and before the first album

(13:43):
and Harry did flopped. Really he didn't like like Nile
actually has been more I think successful if you think
of it that way, was.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
More successful. Yeah, I think he's more successful than most
people have ever met.

Speaker 8 (13:57):
I don't think now gives enough credit. But anyway, reason was.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Louis then the Kevin Jonas of the group.

Speaker 8 (14:03):
I'm actually Louis saying way more than Kevin whatever I.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Think everybody does. Yeah, Okay, here we go again. There's
talking about possible n Sync tour, a thirtieth anniversary tour,
and they're saying they're gonna do it with or without
Justin Timberlake, and I'm guessing he's not going to be
a part of that.

Speaker 9 (14:20):
Well, now his lime disease diagnosis, I guess he wasn't
gona be a herd of me.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Lime is tough. The trailer for the new season of
one of my favorite shows, Landman is out. We have
a clase? Did Tommy then that what I was supposed
to let his trophy wife go and try to pull
permits from the Railroad Commission. I run the company, she
owns it. But if you want to fight about it,
lawyer up, big boy, let's go. Why don't she let
me sell this sing? I'm want success?

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Get it for me Billy Bob Thornton is still good
in this season one was fantastic.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Oh was it a good show? Really good. You know
who's got a good a new show is Glenn Powell.
You guys all love Glenn Powell.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Love Glenn Powell.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
It's on Hulu. It's called Chad Powers. And this young actress,
this is actually hilarious to me. Her name is Brittany
Ray Carrera. And she shot a scene for the show.
She was supposed to be in the show, and she
was so excited. She invited everybody she knew to a
watch party and then all of a sudden they're watching
the show, and without telling her, they replaced her with

(15:19):
the Hawk Tour girl and we got this is my seat.
I was wondering to what you said, here I come
and we're going to Well, you re is my scene?
Did you come in later?

Speaker 10 (15:38):
No?

Speaker 1 (15:39):
This is literally my scene. I'm sorry.

Speaker 10 (15:43):
You annoying?

Speaker 8 (15:46):
Oh my god, I just literally like.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
How annoying? Just she sound?

Speaker 11 (15:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Very annoying? Is she more or less annoying than the
to a girl?

Speaker 2 (16:01):
To a girl is less annoying?

Speaker 1 (16:06):
I think the two of them should do something together.
They should do a song on that thing. Anyway, The
big story the Red Sox. They lost the Yankees last night.
They have a must win, do or die a situation tonight. Okay,

(16:30):
it's tied at one one. This is the only game
that matters right now. Didn't go well last night? This
is it.

Speaker 8 (16:36):
What do we think?

Speaker 2 (16:37):
We got the two rookies up against each other wallpoll
for the Yankees, right.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Yeah, so that's the story. I think which rookie is
going to play better or pitch better tonight?

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Well, because they say it comes down to pitching. We
had the game in the bag last night. Sucks well.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Jarender ran out there in left field. He is fabulous,
all of the best players in Major League Baseball. But
it was a routine fly ball off the bat of
Aaron Judge and he missed it.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Yeah, he catches it like literally ninety nine point nine
percent of the time, and that really changed the game.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
So Boce right off the gloves. We're gonna take it tonight.
I know it. Okay, let's go socks and We're brought
to you by Wilson Farm. Celebrate fall at Wilson Farm's
pop up Beer Garden and Lexington. You can enjoy local
beer and cider poured right in their fields. Two nights only, Thursday,
October second, that's tonight.

Speaker 8 (17:30):
That's tonight, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
And farm fresh bites and live music there too. And
then October third, which is tomorrow, they'll have line dancing
lace with Bruce and Snacks.

Speaker 8 (17:42):
I love apple cider.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
If that doesn't say Friday Night Bruce, Snacks and line dancing,
just go to Wilsonfarm dot com and there you go.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
From the Planet Fitness, Kiss one Away Studios. We're back
with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Hey guys, welcome back. So I guess a Lisa, technically,
this is my bun voyage party this morning, I guess.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
So you know you're gonna be back.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Well, we have a lot of food here, a huge
food drop and we want to thank Freddy. Good guy,
Freddy over at the Meridian Food Market, the Meridian Food
Market and Heaspashton. Did you see all the food he.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Dropped dead, some of the delicious sandwiches.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
I've been in there many times. It's a fantabulous and
giant chocolate chip cookies that are actually warm out of
the oven. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
And if you listen to the show yesterday, we had
Wyndham High School on in New Hampshire. They're in the
running for a one million dollar makeover. It just for
some lights for their field. They can't play Friday night games.
And Freddie was the one that tipped us off about it.
His daughter Isabella post to wind them high. And he
owns the deli, so he said, I'm gonna do a
food drop for you. So I didn't expect all this
much food.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Yeah, and groc is involved too, right, He's going to
put in a gym if everything goes well with fundraising
and everything else for the lights on the field.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
If you go to the Kiss Instagram when he was
nice enough to put up the video of them yesterday
with the link to vote, so please vote help them.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Uh yeah, I mean the food is crazy. There are
giant breakfast sandwiches. You know what else is out there? Ravioli?
When was the last time you had ravioli? Next? It's
so good.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
I live with an Italian grandmother downstairs and she cooks
every single time at dinner. A moment she wakes up
what's going to be for dinner and she has to
open the door and announce it every single day around noon.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
And I'll bet every time you walk in the house,
you eat. You're hungry, you need something to eat. When
you say no to the food, oh yeah, never. I
also want to thank my buddy Dukie. He brought in
trays of bakery pizza from my childhood pastry shop, Royal Pastry,
so we have that. And by the way, he brought
half moon pies that Billy like.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Well, Billy's leaving for Africa, right, so this is like
your your your send off, your farewell. You'll be off tomorrow,
then all of next week. You'll return the week after.
You're going with Michelle. Second time you're going to Africa.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
That's a third time in a year for my wife.
This will be our second time going together. Yep, and Morning.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
Crew, It's Kristen up in Brooklyn, Maine.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Billy.

Speaker 7 (20:10):
I just wanted to say, I hope you have a
fabulous time on your vacation.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
I will be looking forward to seeing some picks and
stories on your Insta, not your finsta.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Keep us updated.

Speaker 9 (20:25):
Have a great time, he won't his wife Michelle, she's
great about that, She's gotten pretty good at it. But
I love you and the food drops have been nice.
But why do you etally going off to war. You're
going on a vi safari.

Speaker 8 (20:38):
Very expensive safaris. Yes, there's a.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Very good chance I can lose a limb tremble lifetime.

Speaker 8 (20:43):
And you've done it twice. You doing it twice?

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Well, it does? It does happen?

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Official say sixty four year old Juliana Laturno died when
an elephant and the tourists were watching attack their vehicle
in Africa. The Southern Province Police Commissioner says Laturno was
thrown from the vehicle and tramp to buy the elephant.
Zimbi An authorities say tourists need to exercise extreme caution
while observing wildlife.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Extreme caution. Now, do any of you realize how close
we are to giant elephants and their children? Well, yeah,
you're going to baby elephants.

Speaker 8 (21:18):
But you're choosing that life. You've chosen to go into
their habitat.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Not my choice. Well, it's my wife, Michelle's choice. And
by the way, I will tell you something very cool
is going to happen. We are starting the trip this
year at an elephant sanctuary in Zimbabwe and Michelle, who
is a biomagnetic therapist and practitioner, has been treating injured
and tortured elephants by the poachers out there at this

(21:42):
sanctuary remotely, and they're all doing great, and she's going
to get to meet the elephants that she's been treating,
including the baby elephant that they rescued from the wild.
I want to hear an interesting story. This baby elephant
was separated from its mother because its mother was killed,
and the baby elephant just started following around another female

(22:03):
elephant who happened to be pregnant, and the baby was
getting some of its milk from the mother who wasn't
that baby's mother. So you're gonna meet the baby.

Speaker 8 (22:11):
Your wife saved these elephants, and watch one of them
kill you.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Okay, there's the possibility that I guess that would make
the story kind of cool. I never know. I shouldn't
even do this, but yeah, So we're leaving for Africa
in the morning tomorrow, the very early morning. He's going

(22:37):
to be your guide. We had him on this week. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Now, and you did ask him the first thing when
he was on the air with us. You know, all
the time you spent in Africa, has anything happened to you?
And he said no, Yo, they know the safest way
to do everything. So you'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Whenni you may get your wish. I don't know, but
it would be a cool story to tell. Just think
you can mention this at the eulogy when you're doing
part of it.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
I mean to be wrong. If something were to happen,
we would we would pay tribute to you. We devastated, Yeah,
but we'd pay tribute.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Sometimes, got it? Yeah? Anyway, Yeah, off, it is the
will all set. I think everything's in place. What's wrong
with you? First? You want me to be killed by
the elephant, by the elephant that my wife saved just
in order to kill me.

Speaker 8 (23:27):
I love the irony of it.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yeah, yeah, Well, off you go. Bill.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
You'll be checking in with us as you did last year. Yeah,
from Africa. Maybe we'll talk to you tomorrow when you
get to the airport. See how you're feeling.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Yeah, when I call you, guys, I'm in the wild.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Yeah, I know, so you'll be checking in so uh yeah,
I have a great trip, trip, Bud, Please be safe.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Time for talk back leftovers? Oh, look who it is.
Look who's back? We got him?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
The Mayor of the South alive for the first time
in two years. He went Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, three days
without a talk back.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
But he's back. Good morning, it's the Mayor of the South.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Then.

Speaker 11 (24:05):
I've been away for a while because I was having
a cosmetic procedure done. Let's just say it's high and
it's tight now. But I'm looking forward to Friday because
I may drop by to the Taylor Swift party at
the Liberty Hotel, because you know, I like to consider
myself the showgirl of the Billy and Lisa Show.

Speaker 8 (24:26):
I'm back.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Have a great day everyone, and he guesses on what
the procedure was. I am tight. Maybe a little loaf
chim something, maybe.

Speaker 8 (24:37):
A facelift or some sorts.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Maybe.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
Well, if he comes to the party, which he did,
reach back out and he asked if he can get
on the VIP list at least if you see him there,
just bring.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Him will yeah? Possibly? Yeah? Possibly? Yeah.

Speaker 8 (24:51):
Scotty's okay, Scott He's okay. I was worried.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
He's okay.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Well, we have no way to, like, you know, get
a hold of him, right, it'd be crazy.

Speaker 8 (25:00):
Street, get ahold of us when he wants to.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
He's our mayor. But yeah, it's a big week, big
weekend with the Taylor Swift stuff going on, and of
course the album tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (25:09):
Hey everyone, it's for Club Courtney. It's next SATA week.
This week Taylor Swifts album is coming on Friday. Oh
and I'm getting married on Saturday. Emma is going to
be the best flower girl.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Thank you congratulations.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Oh that's cool. Wow, what a big weekend. This is
pretty cool. So much going We can't forget Billy off
to Africa.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Hey, Billy, I hope you have a great time in Africa.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
Just remember this time when you get scared like a
little chicken, don't leave the show behind in a bathtub,
in a field, in a forest anywhere.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Don't run and leave it behind. Well, you know what
they say. If I'm being chased by a wild lion,
all I have to do is outrun. Michelle, Well didn't
you do that last year?

Speaker 8 (25:51):
I forgot about that. You did? You were outside dathing
and the outside bath.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Yeah, you were outside or something and you got scared
and you ran away and left your wife.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Oh and I accidentally locked her out of the tent
because we were both while we were both in the tub.
And I'm sitting in the tub right completely vulnerable and naked,
and it suddenly hit me We're in the darkness of
the wild, and I said, well, I'm not in a
position to help you or save you if something comes along.

(26:24):
So I said, I'm going to get out just to
make sure I'm ready. And I got out and accidentally
I locked the door. So now if something would have happened,
she couldn't get I'm just saying, Wow, well, it's going
to be a great trip. Yeah, don't leave her behind.
She should be leaving you behind. Yeah, and I'll suggest it.

Speaker 8 (26:47):
She has way more life to live, you know, let
her you should sacrifice.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
No, but I think she would try to save me
before I She's that kind of a person person and
she could kick my ass so well, except when she
gets angry, and then you know what that means.

Speaker 12 (27:00):
You remind me of a Detroit style pizza Krusty, Cheesy
and square.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Come on, come on, kids, one away into the morning,

full Force. Also this morning we had Riley Donovan on
that's Lisa's son. He calls in every week to review,
review The Golden Bachelor and break down what happened.

Speaker 7 (29:30):
Good morning everyone. I have to say I look forward
to Thursday mornings hearing Riley's recap of.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
The Golden Bachelor.

Speaker 7 (29:38):
I never catch the show, unfortunately, but I love his
commentary and I'm gonna celebrate being old today.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
I gotta say Riley was on fire this morning. I
mean he was. He was on fire.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
He's the pegest peg in the world. Yeah, that's the
funny thing. Most of us have never seen The Bachelor
or The Golden Bachelor, but Riley brings it to life.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
It was so funny.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
I don't watch it could.

Speaker 11 (30:03):
Very realistically still carry a tampon their person.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
Okay, youth, That does tell you.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
He like rolls right out of bed and just picks
up the phone and calls it.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
On a holiday too. He did not have school this morning,
No he didn't. He still joined us.

Speaker 8 (30:22):
Yeah, that's dedication.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
Yeah, every Thursday at six forty, Riley will join us.
And finally for topic time, it was all about baby names.
Apparently there's a woman charging thirty thousand dollars to couples
to name their baby and that led to a discussion
about kind of weird baby names or weird names in general,
you know.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
What I mean.

Speaker 10 (30:40):
We were on a cruise and we met this couple
who had a child and his name was Writer, which
I thought was really cute. But then we found out
that his last name was Die, Writer Die.

Speaker 8 (30:54):
It was awesome, Like your rid Die.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Shuld have given that more thought. I think they.

Speaker 8 (31:02):
That's exactly what they wanted.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
They gave so much thoughts. See, that's not that bad
to me. It could be much worse a kid, you not.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
There's a doctor from my hometown and his name is
Richard Tapper. If you think about the nickname for Richard,
the name's pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Shut up, shut up.

Speaker 7 (31:27):
But.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
I get it. Dickie Tapper, Yeah, Dick Tapper. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (31:33):
He definitely did that on purpose. He could have done
any other, you know, type of medicine. There's so many.

Speaker 5 (31:38):
Yeah, I just wanted to get in on the name conversation.
I had a girlfriend when I was in high school
and her last name was Swallow and her dad's name
was Richard, which we called Dick, So it was Dick Swallow.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Billy trip in Africa all Tomorrow and all next week,

up the volume and the Mighty One is right there

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
