Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston, Billy and Lisa in
the morning. It's just a great start.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
To my day on kids one away.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Hey, guys, so welcome in. It is the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show. It is a Monday, it's the start
of another week. Oh, don't forget. The Gracy Abrams contest
is still going on. We'll pay it off with the
grand prize this coming Thursday morning. Bottom line, when you
hear a Gracie Abrams song, you just send us a talkback, right, Well.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Tell us why you should be going to the show,
and then if we think so, you qualify. You get tickets,
and then you qualify for the grand prize, which means
you get to see her here and in La.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, don't just send like a vague talk back. Hey,
I'd like to go to see Gracy Aprams. Well, so
would everybody else. I give them the story, make it hot. Yeah,
they do do that. I was going through the weekend ones. Yeah,
you know, be creative, right, you know.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Also, we don't make the decisions. Don't blame Moss if
you don't win.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
That's a good point.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
Oh, they don't let us make any decisions. Yeah, so
in order to win you have to be listening on
the iHeartRadio app. That's where you leave talkbacks. So that's
very important. So when we play a Gracie song on
the app, tap the little microphone button. That's where you
leave your message. You talk back if you will, yeah,
or you can say whatever the hell you want.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Good morning, Billy, Lisa.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
Justin a point a very day, just kidding out, let
me grow.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Am.
Speaker 6 (01:24):
I on my way home.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
After working all weekend in the emergency department, and I
cannot be more excited to be in bed, but also
to listen to today's podcast as I get ready to
go back to work and catch up.
Speaker 7 (01:38):
On all the CEO madness.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Okay, bye love.
Speaker 7 (01:43):
You say that.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, it's the CEO coldplay thing. Everyone's still talking about it.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
Yeah, it's taking over. It's the Hawk Tour of twenty
twenty five.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
What do you think this guy's doing now? Like, where
is he doing? I know he's not working. Apparently he
resigned to me. I guess he had to. What's going
to become of the woman?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Well, what becomes of the couple?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
For all three.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Couples them and then their shoes Moses.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Oh yeah, speaking of which, I read a story over
the weekend, I was telling you, Lisa off the air
that the woman the cheater in the Kistol, Yes, she
married into one of the if not the richest family
in Boston, the Cabots.
Speaker 8 (02:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
I was wondering why she was even working. Not to
be sexist, but like, if my man was being on
that money, I think I would just stay home with
the kids.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
And I guess he has some sort of brewery or something.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Rob Yeah, well, the family has been making millions and
millions for a long time, the latest of which is
I guess the beer business. Yes, but the Cabots of Boston.
So this story gets stranger and stranger, and the way
it's exploding on social media in a lot of ways
is kind of funny. But we're going to talk more
(02:56):
about it coming up at six forty this morning. We're
breaking down the whole story developments.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Over the weekend, cold playing Chris Martin like at the
center of everything.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yeah, right, you think they're happy or upset.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
I think that they're publicly just very nice people. So
they act like, oh so sorry, but like they don't.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
I personally think this is like, yeah, next level for that.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Oh, this is gold for Chris Martin. It's all people
are talking about. Now. That's the term for treating now
is you were cold playing.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
We played, but I have to tell you that I
remember when we went on Tuesday night. I remember him saying,
we are going to put you up here and I'm
going to write little songs about you. Like remember I
talked about it. Yeah, yeah, So they I think, had
to tell the audience that they were doing it.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Well, we're going to break it all down at six
forty because Chris Martin addressed the crowd in his new
concert this weekend, and several other artists are now making
jokes about it when they're performing. So we'll break it
all down at six forty. Last night got a little
crazy weather wise, like thunder and lightning. It was insane,
whipping around and downpours.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I was on my porch watching it. It was it
was it was nice. I mean, it was crazy, but
it was nice watching it.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
But we're gonna have a nice week of weather.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Beautiful day today, Oh.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
It's gorgeous, like mid seventies, low humidity. Same thing for tomorrow,
then like eighty one and sunny on Wednesday.
Speaker 9 (04:19):
M M.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
And then a heat wave later this week back into
the nineties. So Justin and I are on TV together today.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh fun.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
We're going to the beautiful town of Salem and we're
going to be shooting in and around Salem in the
north Shore for dining playbook.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah, I'm ntoring, Billy land nice. Yeah. Yeah, I'm a
little nervous. We'll see how it goes.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
That'd be great.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Mike rocket is co hosting this episode that we're shooting today,
and Mike Rockett wanted Justin to be there because Mike
thinks of Justin as like a son.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
So Billy wanted to make it Claire, he doesn't want
me there.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Oh, no, you there. It's always good to have a
strong man with you.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
I'm happy to be there and I'm happy to help
in any way.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Are you going on the Yeah, we're hopping around the
north Shore by boat on Mike Rockets boat.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Oh that's so great. Yeah, another boat, right, I'm not
invited to.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Well, I went on Billy's boat on Saturday night. Max
and I we stopped by and we had a little
dinner and Alex and his son Alex was there and
Tony Ann which was really fun. But yeah, we didn't
the boat did off.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
They can't wait a minute. It was never billed as
a boat cruise, so Lisa said, hey, maybe we'll drop back.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Yeah, I know, but it's just funny because everyone always
asked me, oh yeah, like does the boat never leave?
Speaker 4 (05:32):
It doesn't leave. And Billy posted a picture of Titus,
who he loves more than anything in this world, on
the dinghy. Not even Titus can get the big boat.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
From the Planet Fitness, Kiss one Await Studios.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
We're back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Kiss.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Okay, so we're back, and like everybody else basically around
the world, we're still kind of buzzing about this cold
Play thing, right, I mean it is if you open
your phone, it's everywhere, I mean everywhere. So anyway, the
latest is this creepy CEO guy that was caught on
the Kiss cam, which is now being called the Coldplay cam,
(06:10):
apparently turned in his resignation. I think his days of
ceoing are over.
Speaker 10 (06:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
They announced it on LinkedIn on Saturday, and they put
in an introm ceo.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
See that original statement that we did not report on
was fake.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
It was totally fake.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
It's the Internet.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
You have to be careful, you know, it's really interesting.
A lot of people believed it.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah they did. Yeah, I mean it's easy to it's
easy to fool people. I was fool their first.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Well, look at all the memes. The memes are cracking
me up. There are some really. The one that really
made me laugh. I don't know if you saw the
one about the water Country. Oh yeah, on the Floater
Country and the two of them are in the flume ride.
I love that.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
I love that song. I didn't see it.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
It looked like a real commercial for water Country.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
There's so many Oh man.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Oh god. And now now it's showing up at ballparks
and people are getting on the again. The coleplay cam and.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Mcab and I did it at the Shineedown calls on
this weekend.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
But then like other artists are talking about it during
their concerts too.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Oh yeah. I mean, it's just it's just crazy. Chris
Martin actually brought it up. He had a show this weekend.
I think it was in Wisconsin. And let's start with
Chris Martin. This is what he said on stage.
Speaker 9 (07:26):
We'd like to say hello to some of you in
the crowd.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
How we're going to do that.
Speaker 9 (07:33):
We're going to use our cameras and put some of
the other big screen. So please, if you haven't done
your makeup, do your makeup.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Yeah, if you have your side check, make sure you
let off.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Didn't they do that before they did?
Speaker 2 (07:51):
They announced it on Tuesday when I was there. They
had to give you a heads up. Maybe legally, they
just like to tell you.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
So the thing is they did that because everyone was
right the comments. They're like, they've been doing this little spield,
like do your makeup, we're running at the camera.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
So even the so called cheating couple was worse.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
They were warned everywhere.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Oh my god. The new term for getting caught cheating
is getting cold played. That's right, Yeah, Happy Monday.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
It's the mayor of the South End.
Speaker 8 (08:17):
I learned a new work this weekend and the word,
the new word of the day is cold plate. It
means to be seen at the wrong place, with the
wrong person at the wrong time. So don't get cold
played this week and have a great day everyone.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Morgan Wallen poke fund at the scandal at his show
in Arizona this weekend. If there's anybody here their or whatever,
I think, I.
Speaker 10 (08:53):
Don't cheat.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Anymore.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
Doesn't condone cheating anymore.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
But if you're a sidekick, you're safe at his show.
So and then Luke Bryan also made light a bit
this weekend. Yeah, that was in South Carolina. So it's
still just spreading like wildfire.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
You know, don't if you're with your secretary or the
head of your HR department, you know, you might want to,
you know, not hold onto them during the show.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yeah, and I think her days heading up HR for
anybody over.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Yeah, there have no announcements about what's going to happen
with her job.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
She was suspended, but but she's still.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Technically pending the internal investigation. And I saw a report
we may have referenced this earlier this weekend that she
married into the Cabot family, which is considered the, if
not one of the richest families in Boston, Like we're
talking big dough.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
They have two little kids.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
Yeah. I think they're both okay in that department, him
and him and hair the CEO and her. Yeah, but
you know, money wise, I mean, there's some money that
can't fix everything.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
I mean, I just wonder, I just wonder if they'll
stay together.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
You mean the guy in the HR will Yeah, the affair,
I think that's impossible. I who knows, right.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
We need someone to keep an eye on him.
Speaker 11 (10:22):
Oh my god, you guys, it's Caitlyn the hygienist.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
I just found out that the guy from the Coldplay
camp lives literally down the street from me.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Like, what are the odds?
Speaker 6 (10:30):
That's so crazy.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
What neighborhood do you live in?
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Didn't know hygienis did that way? Yeah, and I know someone.
This is what's happening with the story. You keep running
into people that say, you know, by the way, I
knew that and her when he was then I know
somebody cannot name names, but I know somebody who dated
(10:56):
the Cabot woman's ex husband.
Speaker 10 (11:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah, well he might be in the market for a
new girlfriend, somebody they want to spend the block.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
I think she's okay.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
I think that was a lot of time ago.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah, and they did it. Yeah, it was before he
actually married the cap I don't know.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
And again, if they it was their reaction when when
they got on screen, Yes, that brought attention to it.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Don't you think because they didn't do anything, it might
have just went by.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
But it's like when you know you do something wrong,
like when you're like a little kid, and you know,
you get caught like with your literally hand in the
cookie jar and know whatever.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
The person that I want to talk to is the
girl that was standing next Yeah, the girl that also
works for the company.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
But they're saying that it's not They've come out and
said it's not her. The company has come out and
said that's not her. Oh it was not Alyssa's daughter.
They said that's not her.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Well, then who is she?
Speaker 3 (11:48):
It looks like she was a friend of the cabint woman.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
And what's weird is I mean the guy is CEO
kind of hit the floor right.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
On the ground, but she was kind of laughing thing. Yeah,
she's been made memes to made memes of her too.
I made a ton of a ton of her expressions like.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
When I know that's like, say, that's my.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
That girl knew a lot.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
So I think she was her friend.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Wow, Yeah, like she was a cover.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Up, like, Oh, I'm gonna go to coplay with my
friend so and so.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
What a crazy story. Crazy And several things I read
over the weekend. What have we learned, Well, we've learned
there are cameras everywhere.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yeah, and the fact that the internet knew who they
were instantly is also crazy.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
You know what it is. It's messy.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
There you go, aren't you cute?
Speaker 4 (12:41):
The whole thing's messy.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Billy and Lisa kiss. So, Lisa, you had a superhero
at your house this week.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
You know what I did? And it was unexpected. Our
guy Justin here texted me on Saturday morning and he
was like, hey, can I come to the house today
and pick up the peloton because about a year ago
he and I did a swap. So I had an
extra treadmill and he was like wanting to get back
(13:10):
into like some walking, right.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Justin That's right, yeah, I was doing too much biking, right, So.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
We did a little swap. I'm like, because I had
two treadmills, so I'm like, you take the treadmill. He
was like, I'll give you the peloton. So they delivered
the peloton, he and his buddy. So then yes Saturday
he's like, hey, can I have it back? And I
was like, yeah, sure you can have it back. I'm
not really using it, so if when I ride bikes,
I like, I ride bikes up outside. So so he
(13:36):
shows up with Abel, his son. Okay, we have a
little strong man here. That guy Justin lifted the peloton
up about ten like ten steps out of the basement
by himself. This thing is dead weights.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
It's very very.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Heavy, and there's no gifts.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Yeah yeah, right, and then I lifted it into into
my car.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yeah no, it was it was next level. I was like,
what I do?
Speaker 1 (14:07):
You know? So impressed?
Speaker 4 (14:08):
I spend all this time in the gym. It's got
to show for something.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
But now, wait a minute, so does your son Abel
realize how incredible this is?
Speaker 4 (14:16):
He's impressed at all? Well, you know, he's he's used
to me at this point. He did help. He held
the screen, he did with me as we went. He
was pretty heavy.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
He was so cute. Yeah, and then he was playing
Papa Shot in the game room and he's like, hey, Dad,
let's play Ping Pong all day.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
She's like, don't sure, come on, but no, I like,
legitimately I needed to mention it because it was like
next level strong.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
God. We should have like a contest in the building,
justin where you try to lift things in the like
a conference table. Yeah, just hilarious things all over the building,
the front end of a car. That would be cool.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
Yeah, we can, we can do that. I mean, you know,
I'm happy that LISTA was it was impressed.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Let's all you care about?
Speaker 1 (14:59):
You look creepy, you know. Oh yeah, like that's good.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
Oh let's go. Let's go a mic online one there likit.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
The muscles of this guy. Excuse me, look at this guy. Oh,
I'm looking at him. I always want to look like that.
I just didn't want to do the work.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
You look good.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Don't let anyone stop.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Oh your song said's creeping.
Speaker 10 (15:21):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
But we're back with the Villy and Lisa in the
morning on Kiss.
Speaker 7 (15:29):
Now the entertainment updates with the Villy constat.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
So we just played Taylor Swift and I saw a
story this morning. I forgot to mention that there's a
new Taylor Swift book on the Way that talks about
her lyrics and where the stories come from and where
the inspiration comes from. I just read that this morning,
So hopefully we'll know more soon. I'm just saying, uh,
busy weekend at Fenway Park this weekend. The Lumineers were
(15:55):
there Thursday and Friday nights, and Lisa, you said a
lot of young people turned out for the Lumineer.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
So many of my son Max's friends went to the
Lumineers like both nights, like so into it, really, yep,
so into it.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
We have they done much lately, Like apparently we're doing
enough to sell about twice wow.
Speaker 6 (16:16):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
And then Thomas Reht and Teddy Swims were at Fenway
Saturday night and they both showed up at Faniel Hall
for pop up. Teddy Swims talks about these pop ups
(16:39):
and why they do that.
Speaker 12 (16:40):
We always come trying to do these pop ups, like
we'll just like figure it out as we go, live music,
live music, celebrating live music and then unprepared live music,
like we see the show tomorrow. It's always so prepared
and so much goes into it. Then, like sometimes we
forget how fun live music is to just do live music,
you know, and so we always try to make sure
we do one of these type of things and just
(17:01):
like have them have a good unprepared time and it's
it's a blast, you know.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
It must be cool. You're wandering around Fanuel Hall Hall
and all of a sudden there's a live show from
Thomas Rhtt and Teddy Swims and on stage Saturday night,
Thomas Rhett talked a lot about his favorite things in Boston.
Speaker 13 (17:18):
I drank most of your beers out of bar, most
of your bars out of beer. I've eat my weight
and loves to rolls tray had been failed every time
to get a reservation at that two oyster.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Throwing my guts up on a whale watching tour, and
it's ended my fair share of Red Sox games.
Speaker 13 (17:38):
You listen to say, this place has always been and
always will be one of my favorite places to play
on the planet.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
And I have a lot more, but I.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Think the main thing I'm.
Speaker 13 (17:46):
Trying to say is that I have a lot of
history in this city.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Man. Yeah, it's amazing. Anyone who comes to town and
goes to Fenway talks about how magical Fenway Park is.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
It's so true.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
I went to Shine Down this weekend, Yes, and they
said the first time with the garden, they sold it out,
and on stage, Brent Smith, the lead singer, he goes,
our dream is to play Fenway. Yeah everyone. And by
the way, I'm not a huge country fan, but I
get so much FOMO at these country shows just watching
on social media too. I want to go.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Yeah, I'm mad I didn't go.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
I love and Thomas right, Yeah, Morgan Wallen will be
a Gillette in August.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
There you go. Thomas Rhett. By the way, Lisa told
me this the first ever country artist to do Fenway Park,
which is kind.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Of really Yeah, that's interesting.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
And again we addressed the cold Play kiss cam scandal
earlier on the show. Needless to say, the CEO has
resigned from the company. And that's really the only new
development aside from the fact that more than fifty million
views on TikTok with the stupid video from the kiss cam.
And yeah, the buzz is still out there. And another
(18:51):
concert tour, another incident. Katie Perry during her show in
San Francisco this weekend almost fell off her job fake
butterfly that she flies around.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
This was the second incident for her. There was one
in Australia to where she was on a giant sphere
and it like tilted over. I wouldn't get on anything
if I were her.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, well, it was about a week ago that Beyonce
almost fell out of the car that she was flying
around on Oh Boy and Billy Eilers. She's on tour
in England this past week and announcing that she's working
behind the scenes on a collaboration with director James Cameron.
I can't say much, but I can't something very very special.
(19:35):
When it was somebody named James.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Cameron, that is going to be.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
That must be a concerts here a concert probably right
that I went to that show. It was a very
good show, one of the better shows I've seen a
long time.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
She's so talented. Yet another incident at a Beyonce show
the other day, this time in Atlanta. This sounds crazy,
but somebody freaked out when they saw a bug. They
were on an escalator leaving the concert and somebody screamed
bug and it caused a stampede on the escalator and
(20:13):
at least seven people had to be taken to the hospital.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Well, there's no give in an escalator. I'm telling you.
If you fall, that's hard. That's a hard fall.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
It's cast iron.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Yeah, So what you're saying is they bugged out. I
just want to point that out. Actually, what kind of bug?
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Wasn't an extraordinary bug? Yes, I mean it's in Atlanta.
I mean, how crazy can the bugs be in Atlanta.
It's not like they're in the jungle.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
I almost had that moment this morning. There was a
mouse in the garage this morning here, Yes, And I
was coming into the door and like that little ramp
you walk up, Yeah, it was trying to get in
the door. So I was like, oh my god, I
was not.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
My mouse is never going to hurt anybody.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
And I've seen and I didn't want to run over
my feet, so I was terrified. It gave me the creeps.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
I didn't know what to do, terrified, scurry around.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Yes, it was surry scurry. Charlie XCX got married this
weekend to George Daniel from the nineteen seventy five, which
gives us an excuse to play our favorite nineteen seventy
five song, the Sound Jem.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
I love this song so much. It's one of my
most favorite songs.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Remember we all ran out and got the nineteen seventy
five hoodies. I've never worn mine. You bought them for us.
We all have them.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
I gave mine away.
Speaker 10 (21:43):
I did right.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
I was sitting out my closet a few months ago
and I was like, I don't wear it enough, and
there's happens to be a little slit right near like
the boob, and I am always afraid of a little
nipple slip.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yeah, it's kind of like I still have mine. I'm
still gonna wear it mine.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
It's just so big, like I don't know how.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Wear it because Billy always makes me order him an
ex L.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
Yeah, you're a medium.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Thank you, thank you. You have to stop with the
ex I know.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
I always buy him a large during Christmas in his
birthday just to make him feel about that.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
But the Excel in the nineteen seventy five is like
a TRIPLEXL bring it in. I'll wear it all right,
I'll bring it in for you and justin. It's only Monday,
but you've got some new music. We didn't have to
wait for Friday this week.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
Well, Mariah Carey, remember she had that song she she
released a few weeks ago. She has a new single
on the way that she is now teasing. She's been
teasing it all weekend long. It's called Sugar Sweet.
Speaker 10 (22:39):
I'm gonna keep it nice.
Speaker 8 (22:40):
I'm gonna I'm gonna keep his sugar.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
I'm gonna keep it sweet.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Nice, so nice. But is anyone playing her music? She
keeps coming out with songs for who.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
I don't know. She's a legend though, she's.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
A legend performer. If you're a singer, you want to
keep singing. Yeah, like that's they just love it, so
let her be.
Speaker 6 (23:05):
No.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
I love Mariah Carey.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
She has so many hits and she never has one again.
She'll matter.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
It's yeah, and we're still talking about her. That's good.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Still one of the top three selling female artists of
all time.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
And here you are crapping.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
No, no, I didn't. I'm just saying do something. No
one's listening.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Well she has a whole album on the way.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
So, Hi, this is Mariah Carey. If you buy my records,
I'll sleep with you.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
You know.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Hey, justin it's the mayor.
Speaker 8 (23:37):
Hey, I need a grandfather clock that could you come
over and wear something tight and move my clock.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
I'll be right out, Lissa.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
You've got a book club announcement tomorrow, right, yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
So Jody Pico, who was an author, she's from Manchester,
New Hampshire. She sold forty million books. She's going to
be my next book club and she's going to be
calling in because the registration link will go live tomorrow
and this book club will be at Big Night Live
August twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
We're talking to a thousand people, know exactly. And speaking
of books, you have a couple of highlights from this
Gwyneth Paltrow biography.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
So we mentioned it last week. So this is an
unauthorized biography, by the way. Okay, so Gwyneth did not
participate in this, all right, So these are just all
sort of hearsay stories from makeup artists and friends and
co workers.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Do we need to caution listeners on this?
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Well, again, I will tread lightly on this. So in
the book, it just gives out so much detail about
Gwenna's sort of early dating life. And one of the
stories that came out was about Ben Affleck and that
last week we said that she loved having sex with
Ben Affleck, she thought it was the best sex of
her life and all that kind of stuff. Well, in
(24:56):
the book it says that they did a certain act
which basically mirrors a certain type of afternoon drink that's
popular in the UK.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
So what I want to tea so one way of
putting it?
Speaker 2 (25:11):
Yeah, right, So yeah, so that's what happened, and that's
in the book. Okay, what's your favorite?
Speaker 1 (25:19):
This should be a little more here, we need a
little bit.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
More okay, how okay, Well, what do you want me
to say? Because I don't want to get into trouble
with the boss.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Is there a nickname for Justin Well, you can't say
the nickname.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
But back in the day they threw they call it
the Earl Gray.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
They do, okay, called tea bagging.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
The English practice for a cup of tea.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
I can't say that.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
I didn't say. Gwyneth Paltrow said it. She's writing it
in her Actually, Gwyneth didn't say.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Someone else is saying it. By the way, if you
want to get this book, it comes out July twenty nine.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
My favorite tea, Lisa, to answer your very innocent question,
is probably English breakfast.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
I like English breakfast too, yeah, or Irish breakfast.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
I don't really. I hate earl great.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
About the clothe man? Is it like tea?
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Come, oh my god, he's a water guy.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
He loves water. Okay.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
The Superman movie crushing the box office again this weekend,
another fifty seven million so far, two hundred and thirty
six million in the US, more than four hundred million globally.
And and Bill Belichick is going to have a docueries
after all. Remember Hard Knocks canceled because of Jordan and
the girlfriends.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Bo Hard Knocks Failure. They're going to cover the first
season at UNC for Hulu.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
I wonder who the executive you'res is gonna be.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Jordan.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
She's listed as CEO Belichick Productions Jordan.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
About this, I don't even care if she's calling herself Jordan.
We're calling her Jordaans from now on, Lisa Kiss one
O eight. All right, justin crazy TikTok story, let's get it.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
Yeah, sure, this is gonna get people talking. So a
woman puts up a video on TikTok ask for everybody's
advice when it comes to her marriage and specifically her husband.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
My husband asks to go out every single night. Sometimes
he wants to go play pool, sometimes he wants to
stop with the casinos. Sometimes he just wants to drive around.
And I believe him. I believe he says where he's going,
but he stays out late and it's every single night.
I don't feel like he did this when we were dating.
And I get it, Okay, I'm bored at night too,
(27:28):
I'm exhausted.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
We got two little kids.
Speaker 6 (27:30):
I get it, but I hate that he does that,
and he says that he is not going to change that.
So I need to know, am I being unreasonable because
I can see like one night a week being fine,
but like when you're parents to young children, I feel
like even one night a week is a lot.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (27:50):
I am also not a very social person.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Is it possible he's not cheating?
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Well, I guess he says that he's not.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Well, of course he does, right right now?
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Right, Like, I mean, you cannot be cheating and still
be like betraying your spouse, right, Like, it's kind.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Of he's being selfish. He's running like a lot of
me time.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Well yeah, and it's it's a partnership or it's supposed
to be, right, I mean with young kids. Well, yeah,
you stay with the kids. I'm going out every night, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Every night.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
That's unacceptable.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
It's a big deal. In my marriage. We have two
small children. It's a big deal to go out one night.
Oh yeah, it's a big deal. Like we got to
make plans and you know, there's a conversation. But every
single night. And how does she allow that to happen?
Speaker 1 (28:35):
Oh yeah, well it's on her. I mean it shouldn't
be happening and it Yeah, I mean it's wrong.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
I'm not a parent. You guys all are. But if
you're that exhausted from work in parenting, like, why are
you wanting to go? Like I babysat on Friday from
two to ten. I came home and I was no.
I'm like literally like I was striving. My friend goes,
don't you want food to go? No, I want to
go to bed, Like I don't want to eat.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
I don't care about food.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
I just want to in bed and take a show.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
That's the most important thing when your kids are little.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
So why are you going on every night like rejuvenate?
Was some sleep next to your wife in your bed?
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Something's up with this? Some things?
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, or something will be up. He's already just driving
around in the car, right.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Or she says he comes home late.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Yeah, where, Well he must go out after the kids
go to bed. That's what I'm thinking, right, put the
kids to bed and he goes out.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
I didn't hear that. I think it's like, yeah, so
she's putting the kids to bed.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Oh yeah, she's doing it all. I think that's part
of the frustration. That's what's causing all the frustration, Like
where are you going? We have a job here, we
have kids.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
I mean, look, it's important to have your to have
me time.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Right.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
That's important sure in relationships and in parenting, but every
single night when you have two small kids. I'm just
trying to imagine the conversation between my wife and I.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
When I try to say there wouldn't be she would
just tell you to stay home or right.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
She said, don't come back, don't come back right, or
get out I want to go play pool, or they'll
just p you in the face.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Bad for this woman, I really do.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
Even this morning, we've been texted, well since last night
and this morning we've been texting because she's going out
Friday night. So she's like, Hey, can I go out
Friday night? What's the plan with kids? We talk about it. Yes,
that's what it's all about.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Well, I mean, you get a lot of me time,
but it's usually around the house, you know, between your
ice plunges and your gym workouts, and.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
It's when the kids are in school, are in daycare. Yes,
that's the me time.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
So you do your job as apparent, and then you
find a mean time yes around.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
Don't you also want us time?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Well that's the other thing too.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
I don't think you want it, FLA.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
It's like Okay, it's fine if you don't want to
be around the kids, but like, what about the two
of us?
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Is like, I think that's over.
Speaker 10 (30:47):
Yah.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
This guy's in his brain but not hers.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
No, she's got to step up, right, Yeah, she has
to say something else.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
The fact that she's saying that openly, publicly, like and
he's still not getting it.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
I think that was a cry for help, like the
last resort.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
Yeah right, yeah, right, yeah, I know that's always the
last result. Well, let me see what the people think.
And then here we are.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Now it's topic time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Yeah, and the topic of this morning is basically crazy
couple news. We had a woman on earlier. She went
on to TikTok to complain about her husband because they've
got young kids and yet the husband goes out every
night until late night and then comes home. And unless
she's gonna, I don't get.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Well, TikTok was a cry for help. Yeah, obviously like
a last resort kind of thing, like what to do
with this guy?
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Yeah, it's just outrageous.
Speaker 4 (31:43):
Yeah, and it also kind of leads to more questions,
if you will.
Speaker 11 (31:46):
Hi regarding the woman whose husband goes out every single
night to do stuff while she's at home with two
little kids. I wish she had provided some context. Was
he doing this when the first child was born? Has
this been going on for a number of years, or
is this more recent behavior, because more recent behavior would
(32:07):
seem to suggest something like an affair or something has changed.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Curious.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
She did allude to that. She said that he didn't
do it when they were dating, right, So I'm not
sure what the first kid versus the second kid, but
she kind of alludes that it's kind of more recent behavior.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
Yeah, this is this guy's in crisis. He's in crisis
mode right now.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
And she also said she doesn't think he's cheating. She
doesn't think he's lying. But what does she think he's
doing and why?
Speaker 4 (32:33):
And by the way, if he were, which we hope
that he's not, but if he were cheating and she
asked him, are you cheating, of course he's going to
say no. Of course, right, Yeah, that's how it goes,
you know.
Speaker 7 (32:43):
Nope, that is absolutely not on her.
Speaker 11 (32:45):
It is on her partner for disrespecting her so much.
Speaker 7 (32:49):
Fine, maybe she could have stronger boundaries, but it sounds
like she's trying to set that, and he's absolutely disregarding it.
So she's not crazy. She is being a jerk and
it is absolutely betrayal even if he's not cheating.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Yeah right, she neither. She needs to like lay it
down like this is unacceptable. And then if he still
does it then.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Well he did say I'm not going to stop. Yeah,
he said, I'm not I'm not going to stop. She
asked him if you could have.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Conversation, right, yeah, but if you could have either the
husband or the wife on this show right now, which
would you prefer?
Speaker 2 (33:31):
I would want the husband.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
I want to pepper him with questions like what's where?
Where do where do you see this going? Like how
do you see this helping your family situation? How do
you see this helping your marriage?
Speaker 1 (33:43):
And does he not ever say, hey, let's make arrangements
for the kids and go someplace together, go drive around together,
you know, like the old fashioned like a date night
once a week something like you do it with Jen, right,
at least one one night a week. You want to
go out just you.
Speaker 4 (33:55):
And I mean as much as we can, but it's
tough when you have two small kids. Yeah, And if
we have him on, then we can have Winny follow
him around and cold play him if that's what he's doing.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
But this is my thing, right if she should start
beating him to it. She should go out before he
goes out, leave him with the kids, Like to sneak
out before he can get get out. Yes, Like, let
him see how it feels he left along with two kids.
Speaker 4 (34:15):
Yeah, or lock the doors, let.
Speaker 10 (34:17):
Him go to the casino. Then change the locks, lock
the door, and he can stay. If he doesn't want
to be home, he can go do whatever that he
doesn't have a bed to sleep in anymore.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Yeah, that's that's could happen.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
What he's doing is beyond old school. I mean it's
almost barbaric.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
What Yeah, leaving the old lady home with the two kids. Yes,
while he's out gallivanting going out. It's troubling a little bit.
Speaker 10 (34:43):
So I was married to a jerk like that.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Do not say that that's on her, because if he
wants to go, he's gonna go, no matter how many
times she says don't.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
Yeah, yeah, it's true. This is a problem for her
right now.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
Really, she should follow Winny's advice and just go before
he goes.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Like the other talkbacker said, just lock the door, change
the lock.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
You could do that.
Speaker 4 (35:05):
It sounds like that he's not open to having conversations
though about this, because you know she did say he's refusing.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
Yeah, yeah, he's dug in.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
He just never should have started a family.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Or what happens is you start a family and you
have kids and it becomes too much yep to handle.
Freedom gets taken away.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
Justin said publicly he understands dead beat dads more now
than ever.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
That was a controversial statement that I made, but I
stand by it. My wife cannot believe I said that
on the air. But you have to think about what
I'm saying. Before you have kids, you think like dead
beat dads, I could never do that. How do people
run out on their children? And then you have kids
and you understand the loss of freedom and you understand
dead beat dads. They're just they're cowards, but you understand
(35:48):
where the mentality comes from.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
I feel like normally be the opposite. It'd be like
it'd be like, oh, I could never leave my kids,
Like I don't know how you could do it. Just's
like nope, I'm running away.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
I'm not running away standing I'm standing on business all right.
Good morning, Morning crew, This is Vegas, Ray chicking in.
I think we all know where that casino is.
Speaker 12 (36:08):
Where he's going all the time, right me just to
say she's going to get big news someday.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Did I mention I'm kicking in.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
From Rome, Italy today for my stumma vacation.
Speaker 11 (36:17):
I wish you guys did great week and have fun.
Speaker 10 (36:21):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Isn't he always traveling? Right?
Speaker 4 (36:29):
Well, he lives in Vegas. He's from here, I believe,
And yeah, it seems to be always traveling around.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Wow, hope doesn't have two kids at home, or maybe
he's hanging out with this woman's husband. Oh my god,
