Speaker 4 (02:45):

Speaker 1 (02:45):

Speaker 2 (02:46):
I can't wait to see that.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
You're coming over the border. I am coming down.
Speaker 6 (02:50):
Wow, he's doing his quarterly duty of being supported.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
And Bill is going to come and yeah every day, yes,

Speaker 8 (03:23):
You so exciting freaking out right.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Now, Well don't freak out yet. Do you have the keyword?
Speaker 8 (03:29):
It's sold out?
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, now you can freak out. Give us a woom.
Speaker 8 (03:33):
Oh, oh my god. My daughter is gonna just scream
because we had t craik tickets for October and I
had to sell them why because we had a conflict
and money's really tight, and she was really bummed out
and like, oh my god. So when I found out
you were given giving them away today, like I'm shaking.
I'm literally shaking.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
You're a perfect winner.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
Effect Oh my god.
Speaker 8 (03:57):
She loves Tate McCrae. And she saw a jingle ball,
Oh my god. And she loved all of you.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
We love her.
Speaker 8 (04:05):
Jonas Brothers.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
Oh yeah, you're getting wrong, Yeah you are.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
God.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
We've got a lot going on this morning. First and foremost,
we gave away the first pair of Tape mccraide tickets
a couple of minutes ago. We're going to do that
again at nine to ten this morning because it's tay Tuesday,
it's National Dog Day. Like I said, Yeah, there's a
lot going on, and we like to focus occasionally on
local stories that kind of shock us. Uh, And there's
one that's been going on this week. A person of
(04:39):
interest as of this morning, has now been identified. Did
you see the story where they found a dead body
outside South Shore Hospital?
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah, and Weymouth, which is our neck of the word
it is.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yeah, it's just really scary, it.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Really is, and no one knew what it was. But
then they gave more details as to the condition of
the body and then yeah, the person of interest came
from calls from another community.
Speaker 9 (05:03):
Residence of a situate community told police they saw a
man loading a large, heavy looking blanket into a black
Hontess civic earlier Saturday morning. Investigators say those calls into
police came after news reports aired over the weekend about
a man found dead inside a car outside South Shore hospital.
Official stay of the victim, twenty seven year old Decklan
Perry of Portland, Maine, was found wrapped in blankets and
(05:26):
bound with duct tape.
Speaker 10 (05:27):
Yeah, terrible situate, Like I mean, it was just a
pretty much beach sleeper town if you're from the South Shore.
Speaker 6 (05:33):
I mean they had that, you know, murder last year.
Speaker 8 (05:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (05:37):
Yeah, and now this that's interesting and the guys from Maine,
which is a weird maybe he's down for the summer.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Young too, twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, but all the past few days you're watching the
local news, you kept seeing the story. Yeah, they're still
trying to identify this man found in the backseat of
a car wrapped up.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
In right outside Sashire Hospital.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
So now they've got a suspect in a customer interest.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Yeah, person you don't know, like is it a drug overdose,
but then wrapped in duct tape.
Speaker 10 (06:02):
Yeah, but the person was trying to do the right
thing in a way by taking them to a hospital, right.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
I mean, I'm not I don't have.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
That the person interested wrapped him up duct tates and
then brought him to the hospital.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
We save them you know when you watch.
Speaker 10 (06:20):
Those like you know, a crime shows and then like
the dramas and like someone gets shot in like a
shootout and they go take them to the hospital. They
just drop him off and roll and they keep going,
you know when he step away.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
I'm not following it. I'm sure you're making a very
logistic point.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Yeah, yeah, that does happen in the movie. I know
what you mean. They pull up to the emergency room,
they let him out.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, this guy was wrapped and.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
He wasn't letting him go anywhere. It was dead.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
And shout out to the residents and situate that made
the phone calls. You know that they knew that the
body was found in a civic and they saw them
loading up the civic.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
And the other local story that's mind boggling over the
weekend where the boat capsized off Salisbury Beach right at
the mouth of Newburyport. Like, I don't know why anyone
would take a boat out in those conditions, but it
totally capsizes, and I think what the guy on the
boat is still missing. The teenage boy was found dead,
(07:20):
but they still haven't found the guy.
Speaker 11 (07:21):
Man.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
The ocean is so beautiful but so scary.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
At the same time, especially.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
This past weekend. I thought that hurricane that passed over.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
We left pet Town early, well Billy did. Yeah, you know,
they were staying a couple extra days. We were taking
the ferry back, but we left because of the storms.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
And then someone in Hampton died. Yea still in the hospital.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
And I saw people were back in the water at
Hampton yesterday. Yeah, they're advising you to go in only
a little bit. But you know, it's funny though. I
was noticing a lot of it and watching the news
all the time. Well, we were very focused on the
hurricane and the seas and the rip tides and everything else.
But then I was looking at some of the beaches
as you watched the local news, and I'm like, this
is interesting. Like a lot of us from here would
(08:01):
actually fly to Hawaii to swim in that kind of water,
but here we're like, you.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Know, it's like well they were like I was up
in Maine and they were like Hawaii like waves.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, I couldn't believe it. It looks so dangerous.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Yeah, we saw people in in Provincetown, a well fleet
maybe surfing.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Well there they were surfing off of Nantucket.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
There were videos that Channel four our partner was posting
and it did it look like Hawaii waves.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Well, the weather has gotten insane. Did you see the
sandstorms in Phoenix and the Burning Man Festival? Oh yeah,
Oh it was apocalyptic.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
It just it just took over the whole the whole,
the whole area.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
The Burning Man Festival always looks apocalyptic. Yeah, that's the point, right,
But ben at that the sandstorm on top of all
of the videos.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Folks, if you haven't seen the videos of the sandstorms
at the Burning Man Festival, but all over Phoenix, they
they had a complete ground stop at the airport.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Cars couldn't drive. There was zero visibility in Phoenix. And
you know what, the attendees at the Burning Man they
don't care. Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Those big glasses anyway, and oh.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
I'm glad you brought that up. They were all wearing
those like emergency oxygen masks. Do they bring those? They
prepare for it?
Speaker 4 (09:16):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's been fires sandstorms in the past,
but again they're they're in another plane of mental well being.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
And that's like an m event.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Well interesting, there is no official lineup, musical lineup. It's
kind of impromptu shows up. So no one could show up,
but they do, Like you know, DJ cost and your
nephew could go and show up.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
It's a week long event. I mean the people that
were running for their lives two days ago are still there.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Like Diplo usually goes to it, and you know he'll
do a set.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
There's a woman there this year, an attendee who broke
her spine. I think it was last year of the
year before she fell off something at burning Man. Yeah
Brooker spine recovered and now she's back.
Speaker 6 (10:05):
Well she must still be high from last year. She's
going back to.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
They got some good Yeah, they got stuff you've never heard.
Speaker 7 (10:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
What on Boston is Benson Boone And you're waking up
with Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss one.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Await Boston's number one hit music station.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Hey Lisa, Now the entertainment update with a Billy constup and.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
It's all about sellouts on the Billy and Lisa Morning Show.
Tate McCrae sold out two shows here in Boston. We'll
have more tickets coming up at nine to ten this morning.
We're gonna hear from Tate in a second. But the
book club you just announced has already sold out.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Yes, the Chris Whitaker September eighth, All the Colors of
the Dark at Johnson Maine is officially sold out.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Boom, and then you've got to show a book book
club event this coming Thursday night. Also sold out.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Jody Pico at Big Night Live by any Other Name,
and she's huge.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, and we're it's so excited.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
It's very humble of you, Lisa, to be surprised, you know,
excited about it, but also surprised when we know what's
going to sell out.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I have to say, like I love this, Like this
is just so much.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Fun and fun for our listeners.
Speaker 12 (11:14):
It is.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Everyone can get involved.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
The Chris Wait, if they sell out this morning, could
be one of your fastest sellouts. Actually, and he's calling
in a few minutes just after nine o'clock.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Yes, he is from London.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Let him know.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
Break the news to him. We have to the London boy.
Speaker 6 (11:29):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
And again you have Taate McCray sold out tonight and
tomorrow night at the t D Garden. Don't forget. She
headlined our jingle Ball this past December and talked about
coming back here to Boston for these shows.
Speaker 6 (11:43):
Kitty Garden. I've been dreaming about my whole life just
to play a headline show there. So it's definitely a
bucket list. I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
I got to be honest with you. I've been out
there a couple of times into the crowd. Yeah, I
do want to say it too loud. This is a
Tate mc cray crowd tonight. Really, no, no, they are
loving you in this building tonight. I love Boston. So
was the best nine to ten this morning. Another pair
of sold out Tate McCray tickets. All right, little nas X,
(12:11):
he's out of jail. There's the good news this morning.
He was arrested this past Friday morning, very early. It
was overnight. Actually, he was walking the streets of Los
Angeles naked, although he did have some brief song.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
He took them off, white, tidy white. He eventually took
them off. He went full commando.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Oh and then he was wearing an orange traffic cone
on the top of his.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Head and white cowboy boots which at one point he
took off. And now those boots are on sale on
eBay for ten grand. You gotta love it. But anyway,
he was released on bail fifty thousand dollars bail. Yesterday.
This was his dad outside the jail.
Speaker 13 (12:50):
He's in good spirit, he's all right. He's very remorse
for what happened, you know, but make them happen any family,
you know. I want to get the help that he meet,
and just keep him in.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Your prayers and we will, we will.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
You just need he needs some help and hopefully he'll
get it.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
He does.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
And just announced that barah Mar is gonna do Vegas
for the new year. He'll have two shows at the
Park MGM at December thirtieth and again on the thirty first.
And Benny Blanco and Selena Gomeza, we've known for a
while they're going to be getting married at some point,
but they had their bachelor bachelorette parties.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Well they're saying they're getting married in September, so this
is perfect timing. She was in Cabo with the girls
on a yacht and he was in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
And Benny Blanco's taking some heat on social people are
mad because well they're saying he's tone deaf. He was
promoting two hundred dollars blueberries. So we've got it right, guys.
Speaker 7 (13:47):
I can't tell if I'm too or These blueberries they
just sent me are the biggest things I've ever seen
in the world.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Okay, watch.
Speaker 6 (13:56):
They come like individually, act insane.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Look at this blueberry. This this is a blueberry?
Speaker 14 (14:06):
What?
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Okay, you're gonna taste it? I did the box utter?
Like two hundred dollars? Can I say something? M h
those blueberries look damn good?
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Oh yeah they do.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
They come in a box, they're all individually packaged. Yeah,
and they're giant. They're probably bigger than a walnut.
Speaker 10 (14:27):
But they act like he has like a pro you know,
like a deal with them, like he was just trying them.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
They were good, Like, I don't.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Did someone send them to him as a gift?
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Not sure.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yeah, it seemed like they just kind of popped up
and he had them. But I don't think he's got
a deal with the blueberry coming.
Speaker 6 (14:42):
No, it just seems like he said, oh, they taste good.
Like I don't see the big deal.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
They are pretty big.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Rachel Platton is taking a cue from Taylor Swift. She's
releasing a new album all of her songs. I thought
there was only one and that was fight song, called that.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
A one hit wonder.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Yeah, but all that. Okay, I have to point out
that when they announced it, they said it would be
an album Rachel's versions of all of her greatest hits,
and it struck me, well, what was there besides fight Song?
Speaker 4 (15:17):
I mean, she had a whole album. She had other songs,
Broken Glass, good song.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
But again, if you're if you're a fan of hers,
then these are her greatest hits and you'll be excited
about it.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
And now they're Rachel's versions much like Taylor Swift.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
Right, so they weren't her versions of four like someone
else owned it.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
I'm assuming otherwise, what's the point. Mainly they were always
Rachel's versions.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
We put together like a thousand bucks maybe buy by the.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Rights, you know, the whole catalog she's not doing. We
got to be careful. She's from Newton, Massachusetts.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
We love Rachel.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
We really embraced her at the right time.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
She was doing NFL games, they were featured in the NBA.
It's like the fight song was every way I was
using it. Yeah, what's going on with Taylor's red lipstick?
Speaker 6 (16:03):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (16:04):
So Louis Vutan has a new beauty line out and
the big thing is that they have a lipstick that
costs one hundred and sixty dollars, which is outrageous, like
the Blueberries. But the creative director of this like lip
line is Pat McGrath and she's the one that created
the lipstick that Taylor wore on the Arastour, the red
lipstick that everybody wanted, and it sold out and it
(16:25):
didn't come back around for two years.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
It was sold out for two years. Lipstick, Yeah, lipstick,
Women like Lipstick.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Harry Style has been very busy lately, not with music
but with dating. Now he's with.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
Us who he's with Zoe Kravitz, so Lenny Kravitz and
Lisa Bonet's daughter. She was in Big Little Lies, among
other things. And yeah, so she was seen with Austin Butler.
They're in a movie together recently. And then she was
walking around Rome arm in arm with Harry Styles.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Well, he spends a lot of time in Rome. He
was there when the got in. Oh that's right, you
spotted I love.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
When's he going to do some new stuff?
Speaker 3 (17:05):
He supposedly is working on it and it's coming out
in twenty twenty.
Speaker 6 (17:10):
Sex Well, he's due overdue, one would argue, I'm just
saying Miley Cyrus did a song for her dad, Billy
Ray Sivus.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
It was a birthday song. Mick Fleetwood and Lindsay Buckenham
are in the song.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
That's so amazing. I love fewood make Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
That doesn't Coldplay. Chris Martin. There was a guy in
the audience that was proposing and wanted to propose. And
you know where Chris Martin does that thing with the
cameras all over the stadium. This was at Wembley Stadium
and he picked up on it as the guy was
getting ready to pop.
Speaker 15 (17:41):
Brother and said, no, do some very basic security checks. Okay,
is this puss at the partner?
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Yes, no one else is popping.
Speaker 15 (17:51):
Okay, are you CUsing this with sibthings or anything weird?
Speaker 4 (17:55):
But no?
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Okay a.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
Are you real? Real people looking? Looking? And I think
we could continue.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Well, the cheating couple in Foxborough kind of went away.
Speaker 10 (18:09):
Yeah, I was thinking that like it had they had
a good, like ten day run, two weeks maybe.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
A huge story. Yeah, And now.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
I tell you so many people at the Coldplay show
got engaged the night I was there.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
That's like what people do at that show.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
Yeah, Chris Martin strikes me as somebody who eats two
hundred dollars blueberries.
Speaker 6 (18:29):
I don't know. He's very but he's very like conscious.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Like his show is very much about sustainability. Yeah, like
I said before, what are they doing to those blueberries
to get them so big?
Speaker 7 (18:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (18:40):
Shooting them up with something something.
Speaker 6 (18:42):
They're not organic, I'll tell you that.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Like when you see blueberries on a regular blueberry bush,
they're tiny.
Speaker 6 (18:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Yeah, oh no, it's in Willie Wonka. Remember Violet the blueberry?
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Oh, she yes, kept growing.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Whatever that was, that's probably what they used.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
That'd be something cool to Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Remember violent, didn't she explode? Yeah, she exploded. She ate
the blueberry and she turned into the blueberry.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
I've never seen it, but i've seen pieces.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
That's a classic.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
At any moment, look at me now, I.
Speaker 6 (19:15):
Think Biolo was eating all the chocolate. That's why she
was exploding.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
She was she was eating on them.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Yeah. Okay, it's roster cut day and the NFL deadline
four o'clock this afternoon. We're gonna have some nervous players
out there at you Let's Stadium today. Drake May definitely
knows the feeling.
Speaker 12 (19:29):
Yeah, it's always a tough day, you know, I really
got to experience it, you know, one time last year
with the guys around the locker room off so you
hear about it. And there's so many guys out here
that worked their butts off that are kind of you know,
fighting and crawling to make the team.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
For all you Mac Jones fans, he's safe out in
San Francisco.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
I was Jones has a uniform somewhere.
Speaker 6 (19:48):
Yeah, the forty nine ers. He's behind party. He's Party's backup.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
That's insane.
Speaker 6 (19:53):
I know.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Red Sox beat the Orioles in Baltimore yesterday. Roman Anthony
became the youngest player in Red Sox history to have
a lead off home run. Swings He'll tag this one.
There's a drive out to right in his deepbit it
is gone. Can't a blinking and I the Red Sox
take a one to nothing lead.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Is six. He had a home run last week where
he did a bat flip. Yeah, it was just the
coolest thing. I don't think that ball is leaving landed yet.
I mean that was so he just launched it. This
kid can hit.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
By the way, if you're not paying attention, the Red
Sox are pretty good. They're making a run at.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
They're very exciting, very exciting.
Speaker 6 (20:35):
Hey, will they make the playoffs?
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Well, they're a half game in the wildcard half game
up on the Yankees, so first place in the wildcard position. Yeah,
I want to get this in. A Labor Day weekend
is coming up. By the way, if you like fireworks,
there will be fireworks over Boston Harbor. Fun this coming
Thursday night. In fact, it's going to be over at
Columbus Park, Christopher Columbus Park, and they're gonna have live
(20:58):
music and everything and then the fireworks get sent up
over the harbor. So that's Thursday to kick off the
long Labor Day weekend.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
And we brought your question. Yeah, I got sorry to
interrupt you.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, it's okay.
Speaker 4 (21:08):
At what day can we start playing our favorite Labor.
Speaker 6 (21:11):
Day it's the lay that one, no, thank you?
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Oh we could give it a little teas.
Speaker 6 (21:18):
Now now, Happy Labor Day.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
Yeah, so you know that's not counting how many times
we play that leading up to this week.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
The other one we like about the barbecue and it's
on the grill.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Oh yeah, grill it. I'll have all those ready to go. Yeah, okay, yeah, okay, Lisa,
we'll be ready.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
It's the Labor Day weekend show.
Speaker 6 (21:42):
That's my favorite one.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Oh I have remixes to that.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Oh yeah, I can't wait.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
A Labor Day weekend show Friday and to Billion Les

Speaker 6 (22:14):

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Day weekend show.
Speaker 14 (22:18):
From the Planet Fitness, Kiss one Oway Studios.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
We we're back with a Villy and Lisa in the
Morning on Kiss.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
And all morning we've been celebrating Tate McCrae her two
sold out shows in Boston at the TD Garden. We
had a winner earlier this morning at eight ten. And
by the way, I have it from a very reliable
source that Tate McCray happened to be listening to The
Billion Leased the Morning Show right now. Just throwing that
out there. But we do have another pair to give
(22:46):
away right now. But you'll need a keyword, and the keyword,
Producer Riley, is going to be London Boy. And the
reason the keyword is a London Boy is because we've
got London Boy on the phone right now. Chris Whittaker
on the phone. Chris, can you hear us there in London?
Speaker 16 (23:08):
I can. I really enjoyed London Boy as well.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Well, welcome to the show, Chris. This is so exciting.
We have breaking news for you right now. We opened
up the registration link this morning to your book club
and it is already sold out.
Speaker 16 (23:25):
No way, that's so cool.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Oh, not only is it sold out, it sold out
in record time. Chris, I think you sold out faster
than Tate McCrae.
Speaker 16 (23:34):
Well, I'm going to tell her that. If I ever
see Kate mcgraye, I'm going to tell her.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
Well, we need to tell the story of Chris Whitaker
and how I came about meeting Chris Whitaker. I went
to the Jenna bush Haager book Festival in Nashville this spring.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
I had already read his book All the Colors of the.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Dark, last fall book of the year in my opinion,
and Jenna Bushager absolutely Adores.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Chris, he was there.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
We were all talking and I said, you know what,
I'm going to ask him to come and do my
book club, just to see and he was like, I
would love to do the book club. So that's how
it all happened. And he is coming September eighth.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
And now you're talking to Boston, Chris Whitaker.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
I can't wait to come, you know, I really really
am looking forward to. I flied to Washington next Friday
and then on to Boston and then do like a
bit of a tour and then end up in Vegas,
which I'm very excited about.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Yeah, they've been out, They've been He's been all over.
You were on Nantucket too this summer right with Tim
and Tim talks books and Allen Hildebrand.
Speaker 7 (24:32):
I was, yeah, it's the most expensive place I think
I've ever done.
Speaker 16 (24:36):
It was eye openings.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
Now you just made a joke, right, But you want
to hear something funny about two weeks ago, we actually
had a list of the most expensive summer destinations and
Nantucket is the most expensive in the entire country.
Speaker 16 (24:54):
Wow, well, I can see why. It's very beautiful.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
It's gorgeous. You always have fun it's yeah, it's pricey. Yeah,
so we're super excited.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
If you don't know who Chris Whitaker is, All the
Colors of the Dark is a crime fiction, that's what
Chris likes to write about. But it's combined with like
this really beautiful love story.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
So it was an incredible book.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
It's over six hundred pages, so you've got a lot
of reading to do.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
But but now it's in paperback, so that's what we're celebrating.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Yeah, we need to explain the delay because well, Chris
is across the pond in beautiful London's in the Homeland. Yes,
and well we have a little bit of a delay,
but it's working. It's working. It's working. All I can
tell you, Chris is everybody I'm telling you this sellout
this morning. Your tickets were gone in seconds.
Speaker 7 (25:44):
I think I needed to pick me up as well,
because I'm actually I just dismantled my kids paddling pool,
which which signifies the end of summer in London, and
they've been standing around like that.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
A paddling pool.
Speaker 16 (26:04):
Yeah, yeah, you know what, they swim in it.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Okay, I think most people swim in a pool, Chriss, Okay,
I got it. But is he paddling a boat or
something or.
Speaker 16 (26:14):
No, No, that's what it's called in the ego.
Speaker 7 (26:16):
It's just a paddling boll Basically, you just like you
build it, fill it with water, and then they spend
the whole summer in it, and then I have to
take it down at the end of summer because they're
going back to school.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
And they asked it's one of those big blow up ones.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Okay, yeah, yeah, they don't have paddling pools in Nantucket, Chris.
You got to go to London to get those.
Speaker 16 (26:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
See there's that thing again. It drifts off. It's a
bad connection. I don't want to make a big deal
about it.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
But yeah, well this is fine and we can't wait
to see you. He'll be here September eighth at justin
Maine if you are lucky enough to get.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
On the list, and he'll have no delay there.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Oh no, immediate is what it's going to be. Chris.
We can't thank you enough for joining Lisa's book club.
I know how excited she is, but Boston and New England.
I can't wait to see you.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
What's the date again, Lisa, It's September eighth, at josin.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Maine, complete sell out. And now who've we got Amara? Hey, Sarah,
good morning, good morning. Now where are you calling from, Sarah?
Speaker 17 (27:23):
I'm calling from ninety right now, driving into my thirty
four week OHB appointment, and I think I just want tickets,
I hope.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Well if you know the keyword, what is the keyword,
London boy, London boy, because we just had London Boy
Chris Whitaker on the phone coming into Lisa's book club.
So now you can celebrate. You've got your tickets for
Tate McCrae.
Speaker 11 (27:47):
Thank you.
Speaker 17 (27:48):
This will be Baby Girls first concert, so I'm very excited.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
Ah, that's another good winner first concert. Remember for the
rest of their lives.
Speaker 6 (27:56):
It's a baby in a summit.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
That's okay, that's okay. I'm sorry, I'm having trump. You know.
Once I had London.
Speaker 6 (28:04):
Boy in London right here.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
I'm still living the delay. It was freaking me out.
But that's okay. The big news. What's her name?
Speaker 6 (28:12):
Sarah?
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Sarah? Okay, Sarah, thank you, and don't go anywhere because
producer Riley's going to give you all your instructions and
have a ball and good luck. By the way, she's talking.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
Okay, thank you, Sarah, good congratulations For everyone else listening

Speaker 4 (28:43):

not JJ Abrams, No, it was not Donnie Wahlberg. It
was Lisa.
Speaker 11 (28:53):
Good morning everyone, Avid listener here, and I just want
to say that yesterday me and my daughter chance upon
Lisa at South Short Mall, and I just want to know.

and thank you for the taking a picture with us.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
Have a great day. Oh I love that got Lisa
on the go.
Speaker 6 (29:18):

Speaker 3 (29:18):
I was at one of those places where you can
make pictures into art like canvas, and I needed to
quickly make something for Max for his dorm room. So
I so, yeah, So I was there and they were there,
and I met them and they were so nice, nice.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Yeah, big week Max going off to college.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
To the Southstrouw Mall. I'm a north Shore guy. Mean,
I live in New Hampshire now, but grew up in
the north Shore. The south Strong Mall is like the
spot that. Yeah, I've never been to that mall, great mall.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
Oh yeah, we're always.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
It's always been.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
I was the last time too. What did she say?
Fatter of course?
Speaker 5 (29:48):
I know. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (29:49):
I took my nieces for the first time. They'd never
been really, so I had to give them the you
know the first time.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Yeah, didn't you give up the Chris Brown show to
take them to?
Speaker 6 (29:59):
I did Pop Dog.
Speaker 10 (30:00):
Down at jam and it was nice time to get
me tickets to Chris Brown. But I came through last
minute and I got them tickets to the Descendant's Disney
Zombie Worlds Collide tour, which was sold out at the Garden.
They were children in the rafters. It was insane. So
I took them to their first concert, the TD Guard.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Well you missed an insane show. Did anybody see the
videos of Chris Brown flying?
Speaker 12 (30:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Yeah, it's like pink Yeah, even higher though he was
in the sky. At one point he was standing at
the top of one of the pillars.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Yeah, yeah, I was almost as high as the prudential. Yeah,
he was equal to the prudential. It gave you that
impression anyway.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
Yeah, really cool. Well when he almost went thanks to
Popju door, yeah yeah, there he is tickets again. Huh.
Speaker 6 (30:49):
I know he literally said that to me. He was like,
I really came through for you. I go, I know,
but my nieces want to go to this show. And
because Billy said, I'll never get me tickets again, I go.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
Yeah, I'll always post these funny things on his social
media when these big shows come to town and he goes,
you know, all the people that are hitting me up
and texting me out of nowhere saying, hey, how you been, Hey,
I've been a long time. I'll answer those after the
Chris Brown. Oh god. Anyways, back to school week two

She just started dating a new guy only about a month,
but his birthdays coming up? She needed tips? Does she overcompensate?
She just get him a carge? You know, what the
hell does she get him for a birthday after a month?
Speaker 2 (32:21):
What about a ball cap?
Speaker 14 (32:23):
You could go in any direction with that, a sports
team of college, something fun and Philly.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
A baseball hats not a bad idea. Well, I collect cats,
so yeah, that's always a good gift.
Speaker 6 (32:34):

Speaker 4 (32:34):
Maybe it's the guys into sports. You can get his
favorite team. Yeah, he's Yeah, Red SOX A good one.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
I like that.
Speaker 18 (32:40):
Yeah, my boyfriend and I's birthdays are legit a day apart.
So when we first started dating, we had only been
dating for three months, his birthday being first and then mine,
and it was you.
Speaker 6 (32:54):
I wouldn't say awkward, but it's a little bit.
Speaker 18 (32:57):
More harder to do, you know, when you first start
and dating, because it's yeah, I don't know, it was
just a lot harder. But we celebrate our birthdays together
now and it's like the best thing in the world.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
I love that for them. But you're right, the expectations
are weird in the beginning.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Yeah, it's a valid question. Yeah, you know, it's a
new relationship.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
It's good to acknowledge it, yeah some way.
Speaker 4 (33:18):
Yeah, Yeah, don't overcompensate like I did. See I would
tend to Overcompetenie.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Well, you would just hand wads of cash out.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
And yeah, exactly.
Speaker 6 (33:26):
I wish I met billions.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
On the last divorce Another life around. Yeah. So Tate

I needed to pick me up as well because I'm
actually I just dismantled my kid's paddling pool, which signifies
the end of summer in London, and they've been standing
around like that.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
They were like a paddling It's just a blow up pool.

the wine will be flowing from ninety plus cellars.
Speaker 1 (35:11):

because they needed more room for this event Thursday night.

and asked all the big questions.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
You have to ask yourself. How did it get to
be that big?
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Who's up next?
Speaker 6 (35:35):
Tiff?
Speaker 1 (35:35):
My girl? Tiff? Ready to go? Here we go hit it.
