Speaker 1 (00:01):
Right, welcome in.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Our fearless leader just walked out of the studio with
seconds till we got.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
You know, I can't stress enough. If you're in the
broadcast community, I can't stress enough. Be prepared. Yes, they
tell us that all the time at meetings, you want
to be on time, be prepared, which generally speaking, we are.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
He said it yesterday or meeting, but you weren't there
and I wasn't there.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Okay, we have a bulletin, an all out bulletin from
the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. There is a missing
dog and the dog was somehow allowed to escape from
a grooming center. Do we know which grooming.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
Center it is?

Speaker 4 (00:45):
So I don't want to say where, but it is
in Canton. I don't know if I should say the place.
But yeah, it was yesterday, like in the afternoon. So
last scene at four forty five on Denham Street, heading
towards Norway and Westwood. Yeah, but no updates since.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
This is a golden doodle, it's like what it's like
your dog?

Speaker 6 (01:02):
It's exactly like my dog, but this dog is only
about eleven pounds. It's like reddish rust brown in color.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
And it was last scene headed toward Westwood on the Highway.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
No, No, there's like it was on Cedar Crest. I
mean it's if you're from that general area near the
Kitten Junction station.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
You know, I gotta be honest with you. I send
Titus the Wonder Dog quite a bit to the grooming center,
and I'd send them there, assuming they'll keep the door closed.
Is that too much to ask?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Well, we don't know what happens.

Speaker 7 (01:30):
Yeah, we don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I'm sure you know. So if you see the situation
right now.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yeah, if you see a little golden doodle again, Russ
brown in color. The dog's name is Bailey, but they're
suggesting you don't yell out the dog's name.

Speaker 8 (01:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
The dogs shy and she's wearing a pink bandana.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
If that helps, it should be easy to spot.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Yeah, missing Dogs mask dot com.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
If you all right, let's find h Billy and Lisa
show Nation, Let's find Bailey.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Yes, hopefully that'd be if we could have to actually
leave the search and to find the dog. But Lisa,
you now have a list of the rudest things you
can do at a movie theater.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Okay, this is perfect. I'm going to see Sinners tomorrow night.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
Right, These are the things that you cannot do, justin
promise me. The first thing is arriving late. You know
those people I'm on time, arriving late than trying to
find a seat. They're standing right in front of you
talking because they can't find any place to.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Say because the seats are numbered. Then they pull out
their fall flash light and they're shining the light.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
Right, So go online, get your seats, pick them, arrive
on time. But this is my number one pet peeve.
Number two snacking loudly snacking, whether you're crumpling up candy
packages like a bag of or you're just stuffing popcorn
into your face like it's really disruptive.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
It is what I might be guilty of.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
You are well crunching the bag and everything and just
handfuls of popcorn.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
The popcorn. Yet well, I get the biggest one possible,
and I'm so excited because it's so good and so
I yeah, I try my best, but my wife is
she'll look at me and be like, you need to
take it.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
You need to dial it down.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, what about.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
You, Bill?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I gotta be honest with you that I can't even
remember last time I was in a movie theater.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Oh my god, I love going to this to.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Watch it at home. But if I were going to
the theater, it would be showcased soon. Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
I was just gonna say that, shout out to Showcase.
They have the best popcorn. But again, you can eat
popcorn sort of, you know, softly talking.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Too during the movie. Everybody wants to like break down
the movie at the movie, hold.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
On, stay on the popcorn for a second.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
What happens is you start very gently, okay, a couple
of pieces out the time, but as you get deeper
into the bucket, I start getting more excited, especially as
the movie is starting. I get excited all the all
the previews. But the movie starts then I'm I'm fistfuls.
Before you know it, I'm picking up handfuls and then
dumping them into my my god.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Wow, this is I have to say.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
The previews are when you should just chow down on
the popcorn because the previews are so loud.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah, I don't have way too many previews now too, they.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Have a lot of previews.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
I actually feel like they cut back. I was at Showcase,
like to see Donnazee's like last month, and honestly there
was only like three.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
I think it depends on the movie you're seeing.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Okay, in the old days, justin you can appreciate we
used to cut a hole in the bottom of the popcorn.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
That used to be fun.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
What is that a sexual thing?

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Oh my god, are you kidding?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
We have to move back.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Okay, what wait, I have one of my third truest thing.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
Okay, beyond what Billy just said, using your phone in
the theater.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Okay, I can't.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
We have to separate themselves.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
From it, we really do.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
You know the people they're constantly on their phone, their phones.

Speaker 9 (05:00):
It's like a little hanky pang everybody the last Actually, yeah,
oh my god, you know what.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, it's Friday, late last night. My brain is not itself. Yeah,
I eating popcorn right off apple, Okay, go ahead, all.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
Right, talking or singing during the movie or doing whatever
that was that Bill was talking about bringing small children
who can't handle the theater, making too much noise, leaving
your trash behind. That's a big one for me. Like
when you get up when the movie's done, don't like
take your trash with you. It's like a sign of respect.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Yeah, it's easy too, right.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, that's the last What do you do with so
the buckets?

Speaker 6 (05:46):
Yeah, yeah, it's I don't think is it a bag?

Speaker 3 (05:50):
It's mostly bagged now I think.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
The logest thing about you.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Oh it worked best?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah, oh my god, what's got to go?

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Don't talk to me.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
I'm on my popcorn break.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
I love Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 10 (06:07):
Kiss hate Justin. Since you love the popcorn big bucket,
do you know that it's free refills? And if you
bring the kids to the movies, do you know that
you can ask for little baggies and fill up the
popcorn with it? Anyway, we love the big bucket too,
Happy Friday.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
We used to do that.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Well, no one loves it more than Billy.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
We used to cut a hole in the bottom of
the popcorn.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
That used to be fun.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
I'm like, so, what was the parson.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, we don't ask questions.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Yeah, just leave it.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah, we need to leave it.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Big. You just dropped out your imagination. Happy Friday.

Speaker 11 (06:46):
Listen and Bill's defense. I don't think Bill was the
only one who started talking sexual about the movie theater
the way Justin was talking about.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Going in on the popcorn.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I mean, I don't know, Yeah, I mean, that was
just it was a little aggressive.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
You said excited, like eight times excited.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
I'm so excited. I get so excited. Yeah, it's so good.
It's a tree. It's it really is.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I think everybody has movie theater memories, absolutely totally, going
back to high school and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
I mean, a couple of minutes ago, Lisa had the
list of things not to do in the theater, and
I'm pretty good about most, but it's the chewing loudly
thing that's for me. I just I know because my
wife shushes me, like you're being aggressive with it.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
It's just so good.

Speaker 12 (07:30):
What's the best thing at a movie theater?

Speaker 13 (07:33):
Getting peanuted Eminem's and pouring it into your popcorn?

Speaker 14 (07:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Yeah, I do a bunch of crunch you put it
in the Yeah, it melts it so good.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Oh so do you do it at home? You free
prepare a thing of munching crunch or no, no, the.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Someone a bunch of crumbs. It's like the nasty crunch.
Probert's a little bunch.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah. When I was a kid, some of the probably
the most bonding moments were with my father. We're going
to the movie movies. We went to the movies every weekend,
big movie buff. My dad and I and we used
to go on the weekends into the matinee and so
we'd go and he'd he'd plan it out, so we'd
go to the matinee, pay for that, and then we'd
walk out and just walk into another theater. We do

(08:14):
two or three.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Know, I don't think you could do that anymore.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
But yeah, I never ever went to a movie with
my dad.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
Really.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
He used to go to porn movies a lot.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Really, like in the camp Lisa, what is going on
with now? I know he did.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
It's like, well, because he worked in the combat Zone.
I know a lot of people listening may not remember
the combat zone with the adult section of Boston, and
you know, like it was tending bar. He ran the
bar and occasionally and go next doors, right next door.
And he never took it to the movies, certainly, not
those movies.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Any movie.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
But there was a movie theater for porn.

Speaker 15 (08:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
They were like ye on Washington Street, downtown crossing. There
were four or five theaters that only showed.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
It was the combat hardcore.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
It's like a group project, you're all watching porn together.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
When we used to cut class in high school and
walk into the combat zone just to see the guys
going into these movie theaters.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Like I said, there are a lot of people know
it was a different.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Time movie memories. At least you know what. It all
makes sense now.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
In the morning. Wait, okay, justin, let's get a couple
of talkbacks in.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Can we Well it's going to be rainy, not the
whole weekend? Right, but no it's not.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
It's not going to be a wash out.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Okay, but the forecast.

Speaker 15 (09:45):
Is little morning kiss crew, So I have to let
you know about the weather situation.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I bought a camp five years ago.

Speaker 15 (09:54):
The first year it was raining, the second year it
was dry, The third year was last year it was dry.
So fifth year, guess what we're having tgif that summer?

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Oh man, yeah, that's stinks. Well, hopefully we'll move out
of the pattern and have plenty of nice days and
beautiful weekends too.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
And it's gonna get cold next week right least.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Yeah, fifties going spots.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Great, bundle up, don't put the jackets away. No, yeah,
how's that pool coming opened in a couple of weeks?

Speaker 1 (10:30):
My pool is open?

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Is it is? It like swimmable.

Speaker 6 (10:33):
Oh god, it's like in the sixties. I mean, the
hot tub is open and ready for business.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
I can go skating.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
What what? What time? Can I come over anytime?

Speaker 16 (10:42):
Now?

Speaker 6 (10:43):
The entertainment updates with the Billy copstay all right.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
So it's gonna play the Knicks in the next round
of the playoffs. The Nicks eliminated the Pistons last night.
Jalen Brunts in the game winner with seconds last, twelve.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Seconds Brunts and holding.

Speaker 7 (10:59):
Till the end.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Bronson puts up a three. Jalen Brugson.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
That's the three.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Yeah, he got the double bang. Meantime, the Knicks coach
on facing the Celtics next.

Speaker 16 (11:11):
Obviously, we'll be doing a lot of work in the
next couple of days. They're the defending champion, so we
know that we're gonna have to be at our best.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
So we got Game one Monday night TD Garden in Boston.
Game two Wednesday night TD Garden in Boston. Red Sox
lost four to two in Toronto last night. They go
three and three on the road trip. They're back at
Fenway tonight, and don't forget the Kentucky Derby is tomorrow
and most likely I hear it's going to be in
the rain, right.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Lise, that's what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
I don't know what are you doing those fancy hats
if it starts pouring.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Out, no idea.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
It just drooped down and cover your face.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Very muddy.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
And we're waking up to several more developments in the
Bill Belichick, Jordan Hudson hot mess. So Dave Portnoy is
chiming in again, and here's some of what he says.

Speaker 16 (11:58):
I had met Jordan, and it was clear she ran
the show like she managed. We both were together at
a speaking gig. She she just ran the show. It
was very obvious.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Was it clear that she was crazy? I don't know
what's going on. I mean, let me put this way.

Speaker 16 (12:17):
I know her and I know him, and I'm gonna
see them, I'm sure in Nantucket and she sees everything
that is said. Now, am I afraid of her?

Speaker 3 (12:26):
No?

Speaker 16 (12:27):
Am I gonna sit here and really go out and
be like, she's the craziest person I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
No, I don't want to be over.

Speaker 16 (12:33):
I'm carrying my watermelon first shop and I can bump
into her.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
I'm so curious as to what people on the campus
of UNC are saying and how they're looking at this situation.
But Lisa, this is a big development. The Hard Knock
special that was supposed to happen.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Oh, he's so great that it's NFL Films. They were
supposed to start filming with Bill Belichick on the UNC
campus March first. They've decided to move away from that
project because his girlfriend Jordan, asked to be demanded to
be the executive producer on the docu series Hard Knocks.
She also wanted to see dailies of the show, and

(13:12):
she asked the executives to treat her with respect or
they wouldn't get to use the coach's IP.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
This is all told to.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
Page six anonymously, but we do know that they did
walk away from the project.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
This is the craziest thing I've ever seen. Of all people,
Bill Belichick, you would not expect this of him. He
was always in such control of every single thing he did, yep,
including the Patriots, until she came.

Speaker 12 (13:33):
Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordan books like the human that the
sea witch Ursula turns into in The Little Mermaid. Remember, Vanessa,
once you see it, you can't unsee it. All I
can picture is her just looking at the camera and
going ha, so long Bill's freedom.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Okay, I'm looking.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
At it now.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Okay, I can see what she's talking about.

Speaker 6 (14:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
I think this is obviously what he wants for now.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
I don't know if he's going to come to his
senses eventually.

Speaker 6 (14:08):
But this is something that he is enjoying.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
I think, Lisa, it's onto something. I mean, he seems
like a sun of mine. There aren't there's a thing
where older men or men of power like to have
a woman that takes control because they're in charge of
everything and everyone always looking to them. It's this weird
like thing where they want to be dominated, so.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
They want to give up the power exactly right.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (14:29):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
So maybe that's and.

Speaker 6 (14:31):
He likes her aggressiveness, yeah, because then he doesn't have
to be the aggressor anymore.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Reports do suggest that UNC Football now might be second
guessing the deal with the Belichick. Belichick's daughter in law
Slam Jordan on Instagram yesterday.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Right Steven's wife Jennifer Schmidt.

Speaker 6 (14:48):
She actually commented on the Julian Edelman podcast where he
said that you know, she's just doing her job as
a PR person. And then Jennifer said, well, pure people
really don't storm off the set.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Well, I'm sure UNC doesn't want, you know, especially with
the when the season comes up, all to talk to
me about Belichick and his girlfriend, right, instead of the
team and the players in the game.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
And I'm guessing they're thinking, why is any thinking about
football more than he is? It seems like he's everywhere
and doing everything except football. I don't know. But there's
another report saying that Jordan has filed for as many
as fourteen trademarks. Yes, she has to claim certain Belichick phrases,
and we talked about that, I think a week or
so ago when this thing first broke.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yeah, her company is called Trouble Cub Enterprises.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Huh does she have any friends? I never see her
hanging out with free.

Speaker 6 (15:38):
She posted a picture of one of her friends on
Nantucket when she did the daffodil photo shoots.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Oh yeah, earlier this week.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Yeah. I have a couple of questions when the season
starts for UNC, will Bill Belichick be with the team?
Will he run out onto the field with the team,
And will Jordan take the field with Belichick when the
UNC season starts. I'm very curious to see if that happened.
Will she come running out of the tunnel.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
She'll be on the sidelines for sure. Definitely she'll run out,
but she'll definitely, yeah, she'll be there. And why was
she wearing a Navy jersey the other day when.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
He was he was to they were in Annapolis?

Speaker 6 (16:19):
I read they were at Annapolis High School when they
were filming that twenty Yes, so that's why, all right?

Speaker 3 (16:25):
And if Jordan does in fact take the field and
stand on the sidelines yelling at people, will she be booed?
I think yes.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
The only thing I think that at this point he
has come down brought some of people with him. It
would take a lot to fire him for the season
with like a whole new.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Oh yeah, I don't think he's going to be booed.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
No, I mean, will Jordan be booed if she comes
running out with the tea?

Speaker 1 (16:47):
You think?

Speaker 17 (16:48):
So?

Speaker 2 (16:48):
It's college.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
I think we hate it because of where we're from.
You know, you think, yeah, we've seen this man for
twenty thres you.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Think the UNC campus is going to embrace her.

Speaker 6 (16:57):
I think, to your point, we feel closer to Billy
then I think we should.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Oh, you're probably right.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, was here for so long.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Okay, a lot of TV this weekend. The Kentucky Derby
is tomorrow Saturday Night Live. Tomorrow night, Quinta Brunson will
be the guest host. Benson Boone will be the musical guest.
Sunday night on ABC the Time one hundred Special, and
then Sunday night on HBO the series finale of The
Righteous Gemstones. I keep hearing a lot about this show,
but I don't know anybody who's seen it. And yesterday

(17:28):
we talked about the F one movie with Brad Pitt.
It has a monster soundtrack, Joja Kat ed Sheer and
Tate McCrae, Rose Madison, Beer, Chris Stapleton and yeah, we
got a lot of new music to talk about. It's
a new music Friday right justin it.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Is, indeed, And you know, the Slina Gomez and Benny
Blanco album came out. We played a bunch of it
and there was one song on the teas that wasn't
on the album. It's a song called Talk, but they
dropped it for the deluxe and I think it's probably
my favorite out of all the songs they made Yeah,
huh yeah, that's ah, that's a botle's a catchy one.
Also new this week, Maroon five out the new single

(18:04):
with Lisa from Black Pink. It's called Priceless. Maroon five
are going back to their roots for this new album.

Speaker 13 (18:10):
Was really different the time around because we really got
back to the basics of how we started and you know,
like as time went on, songwriters came in and we
did a lot of collaborations with a lot of different people,
which was amazing and led to some amazing and amazing
run of hits and all that. But this was kind
of back to just the organic, kind of simple, all
created in house.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
I like this project. I think this album is going
to be huge.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
I think so too. Yeah, you can expect a tour
too that will likely come to Boston as well. And finally,
new ed Sharon Old Phone. He was teasing this last
month or two. He had the Old Phone pub and
ips which remember we like it a little on the
sad side, and you know what, you can add it
to the playlist from that segment yesterday, The Saddest songs
that make you cry, A.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Good job buddy, this just in Lady Gaga and Bruno
Morris's song Die with a just passed the one billion
views mark. And how about role Model? He was on
the Elvis Durant Show yesterday. That's our New York City
morning show on iHeart. Don't Forget. He's heading out on
tour with Gracy Abros.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
She was one of the.

Speaker 8 (19:15):
First people I met when I first moved to LA
which was like twenty end of twenty eighteen, beginning of
twenty nineteen, and I had met her Ray when she
was putting out her first EP Minor, and so I
got to like literally watch her from that moment to now,
you know, doing three nights at Radio City and now

(19:37):

Speaker 5 (19:41):

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Oh hey, welcome back in late again. Bill.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Okay, it's a Friday. Okay, it's a Friday. Ab I
worked very late last night at a fundraiser and see
my buddy Andy husband's world champion barbecue chef. I ran
intom outside the studio. I had to say thank you
for being here. You've got to be prepared.

Speaker 17 (20:47):
It's ready to go live. Let me just prep to
you a little. Speak loudly and clearly, no profanity. This
is the microphone. Don't touch it. And now if you
get nervous, just imagine that your listener is completely new.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Justin.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
We had a crazy eight o'clock hour. I mean, it's
a crazy Friday show. Let's recap.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Well, yeah, the movie theaters. I'm going this weekend to
see Centers. So Lisa had a list of the things
not to do and not to do at movie theaters.

Speaker 14 (21:13):
Former movie theater employee here one time while I was working,
a group of people went to go see a scary
movie and they were being very loud and disruptive, and
during one of the scary parts, one of the gentlemen
in the group screamed and threw his popcorn up in
the air, and the gentleman behind him shushed him with
his fist.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
And that was quite.

Speaker 15 (21:36):
The experience to watch.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
This cold clock the guy.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
We'll add that to the list.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Don't fight, yeah, you know, start a fight in the
movie theater.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
No, absolutely not. Yeah, so yeah, crazy list. We used
to cut a hole in the bottom of the popcorn.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
That's just to be fun.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Yeah, that was quite a moment from Bill out of
left Field. Don't do that. It's fun for some pre
and a reminder you can listen to the Billy and
Lisa Show anytime the iHeartRadio app from.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
The Planet Fitness Kiss one O Wait Studios.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
We're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Hey guys for Welcome Back. It's the Big Friday Show
and we're joined by my good friend and world famous
chef Andy husband Andy. Welcome in. Always good to see you, buddy,
Happy to be here. Good morning, You've got the smoke shops.
How many now? I can't keep up with you. By
the way, you're a dear friend of mine and I
know all about the smoke shops. How many now?

Speaker 5 (22:26):
Today?

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Six?

Speaker 5 (22:28):
Next month? Seven?

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Okay? So where's number six? Six is Wooburn?

Speaker 18 (22:34):
Okay, right on Route thirty eight and ninety five. There's
a stopping shop there. And we opened about a month ago.
And then two months before that or maybe in January,
we opened up in Methuin, Yeah, right on Pelham Street, and.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
That's been wildly successful. We love Methuin.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
I think Justin has a date night? Is it tonight
or tomorrow night?

Speaker 16 (22:53):
Justin?

Speaker 3 (22:53):
You're going to the mathouin.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
One tomorrow night. Yeah, I'm check check it out. I'm
sure it's going to be fantastic. But yeah, going to
the movies. But we're going to do some barbecue first.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Yeah. You got to understand something, Andy, When Justin goes
to a restaurant on cheat Night, it could be a
spectator event. We're excited because cheat night is crazy, like
he just eats everything on the menu.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
I might try everything on the menu.

Speaker 18 (23:17):
Well, you know, we have something called the pit Master,
which is everything here we go here, we go, it's
all the.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
Meats and all the sides.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Oh that's what I'm getting.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Yeah, how long do you cook your meats for? How
long do you sort of you know?

Speaker 18 (23:30):
So, I mean the general statement is an hour a pounds,
So if brisket, if it's sixteen pounds, is sixteen hours?

Speaker 5 (23:37):
About that? It depends.

Speaker 18 (23:39):
You know, every animal is different, so we're kind of
looking at him and figuring it out for each one.
But you know, ribs or ribs are four hours, chickens
about four hours. Our famous wings are two to three hours.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
So no, Andy, something strange happened this morning and I
didn't really see it coming. Okay, you came, you arrived
at the iHeart Studios here in Medford, and suddenly you
and Justin were engaged in a conversation about bodybuilding and weightlifting.
And I didn't see it coming. But the funny part

(24:11):
of that is when you walked in this morning, I'm like, boy,
Andy looks great. He has like a glow. So you're
on a program.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
Now I would call it a program.

Speaker 18 (24:19):
Uh, but I'm gonna run a marathon half marathon in September,
and I've just been focused on, you know, being healthy
and taking care of myself and looking at what I
put in my body. And it's not complicated, and I
enjoy it. I use an app called Lose It, which
is a Boston company, and it works great. Really, I
don't work for them. I'm just saying it works great.

(24:41):
I chuck what I eat?

Speaker 15 (24:42):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Is it hard to be on a program and stick
with it when you run a bunch of restaurants, you.

Speaker 18 (24:48):
Just yes, because you know, bacon and bread is everywhere,
so that's kind of the easy grab and French fries.
But you just you know, what is it? What do
they say? Uh? Plan to six, plan to succeed, prepare
to fail.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (25:02):
Okay, so the newest restaurant, Yes, is where Wooburn? Okay,
you're in New Elm Street. Okay. And and what's down
the road Chelmsford? Oh okay, yeah, Chelmsford.

Speaker 18 (25:13):
Which is literally down the road from Wilburn. And we're
really excited. That's looking like early June.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Now, how do you decide where to open? By the way,
you're right up the street Assembly road. Yeah, it's complicated
and it's easy. You know, a little bit is just
sitting there and watching who's in the area, and you know,
big corporations would do like you know, hire companies to demographics.
We just kind of like look at it and look
at who's in the neighborhood. You know what, who else

(25:40):
is doing barbecue. I certainly don't want to open up
next to you know, Fireflies and Marlborough because they're awesome
and I love them.

Speaker 18 (25:46):
I don't want to open him next to BT's and
Stirbridge because he's awesome. I don't want to open him
next to Blue Ribbon. These are all great places. So
we want to make sure that no one else is
around us is doing great barbecue. And then just what's
the community like we really you know, as you know,
for me, I'm big involved in communities where I go,
and so we want to understand the community and see
if we're a good fit for them.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
I was telling justin Off the year you were a
cool chef before chefs were cool, because you had a
place in Boston called Tremont six forty seven and on
weekends at least I don't know if you remember this,
it was in the South End and on the weekends
he had a pajama brunch. Yes, yeah, that was creative
at the time, Like everybody was buzzing about it.

Speaker 18 (26:26):
Yeah, and it was wildly successful and for us, look
working brunch, anyone who's worked a brunch, worked a cloaping.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
Which is close to open, it's awful.

Speaker 18 (26:35):
Yeah, And we wanted to make it fun for us
and I've always found and I'm sure you guys are
the same way. If you're having fun, then you're doing good.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 18 (26:43):
And so we all kind of got together when we
first opened and said what would be fun And we said,
let's wear our pajamas. And you know, we kind of
had to make rules because sweats and a T shirt
wasn't even though that may be your pajamas. We wanted
to make it like look like look like pajamas, like
you know, a dad out of the fifties or something.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
And it was very successful. So you and I are
collaborating on something. Yes, I'm having my first ever meet
to eat with Billy. And this kind of came out
of nowhere, but it's sold out in about ninety seconds
and it's happening May fourteenth, and it's at All Modern
at Market Street Mall in Lindfield. I'm sure you've been there, Yeah,

(27:20):
everybody's been to them. But the store is beautiful and
not only you, but we're going to have a Mike
Rocket and a team from the Salem Watafront Hotel, and
I figured nice marriage. Think about it. We're entering the
barbecue season. Yes you are, and I say this all
the time. You are the world champion barbecue chef.

Speaker 18 (27:36):
Well, I'd like just to say that I'm a member
of a world champion team. Chris Hart is our leader,
and I always want to make sure he gets his
props because you know, I'm think of him as Tom
Brady and me as Julian Edelman.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Yeah, okay, So the event will have you on one
side of the room with your barbecue and on the
other side because barbecue season is upon us. Yeah, and
on the other side is Mike Rocket and his staff
from say in the Waterfront Hotel. They do a lot
of weddings. The wedding season is upon us and the
boating season and he's right there on the pickering wharf
in Salem. So it's going to be a lot of fun.

(28:09):
We'll just meet, will gather, meet some people. We'll have
some wine thanks to Lisa's friends at ninety plus Wine Cellars. Yeah,
it's gonna be great.

Speaker 9 (28:18):
When are we gonna get a smoke shop in the
north Shore.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
It's my favorite.

Speaker 9 (28:22):
And I have to go to Assembly Row all the
way up here in Beverly with love one in the
north Shore.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
You avoiding the north Shore?

Speaker 5 (28:29):
Wells close?

Speaker 6 (28:31):
Yeah, what about the south Shore?

Speaker 5 (28:34):
We love the south Shore? You well, we haven't.

Speaker 18 (28:39):
I mean, I would say, look, rite me the check
and I'll be Look we are, we are actively looking.
And again it takes time. And look, we just open
three places, so we do need to catch our breath
and get everything going right.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
But we're looking. We're going to grow. You know, you're not.

Speaker 18 (28:57):
We're not done, so we'll see. You know, I love Salem.
I would love to be in Salem.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
It's a good place for you.

Speaker 18 (29:03):
Look at Salem and I won't name the place, but
you do know it. A couple of years back, we
were very seriously it takes time to find the right
space and the right community.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
And yet all of your places are doing well. Yeah,
I mean, and it's not easy, right, I mean, times
times are weird right now.

Speaker 19 (29:21):
A lot of competition, Yeah, but even you know the seaport,
which has so much competition, you know, Jason Santos opened
around the corner with his citrus and salt, which is awesome.
We're still really busy in the seaport, so it's it's
neat and and boy, you know certain great barbecues, real fun.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Okay, pop quiz, pop quiz. You've got seven locations right, soon,
rattle them off starting with one.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 18 (29:44):
H Seaport, which is really four point to get mad
at me, Assembly Row, Harvard Square, East Boston with the
best view, right, Methuin, Wilburn, Chelmsford.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Coming, Chelmsford coming. Yeah, we count that in them all. Yeah, Okay,
you got an A an A plus on the pop quiz.
Thank you, thank you so much for coming in Indy.
I can't thank you enough for collaborating with USSA Kiss.
So justin we get a lot of chalkbacks, especially on
a Friday. We don't want to leave anybody behind, but
it's not easy.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Yeah, these are the leftovers, well I should say leftover.
We are running a little bit late here, but it
is Friday. We're all a little bit crazy. Billy's really tired.
It's has been a crazy show.

Speaker 11 (30:31):
I just want to say, you guys are hilarious.

Speaker 14 (30:34):
I am driving into work this morning and I am
just racking up laughing, like you just never know what's
going to come out of Billy's mouth.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
I mean, he just completely.

Speaker 15 (30:42):
Takes it to left field.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
But thank you because it just made my morning.

Speaker 15 (30:46):
Kiss one awight, it's the morning wrap up on Billy
and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Not really sure we had to start. If we look
back on the Friday show, it was a little bit crazy.
Let's start with a discussion we had about the movie theaters.
Lisa had a list of things not to do at
the movies. I'm going this weekend to see Sinners. I'm
really excited.

Speaker 11 (31:05):
So my boyfriend and I haven't been to the movies
in a long time, and I thought, you know, you
can just bring food whatever you want. So we got
a large cheese pizza and he was looking at me like,
I don't think this is gonna work. I'm like, no,
it's fine, it's fine. You know, it's in the box
and everything.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
We walk in.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
They stop us at the.

Speaker 11 (31:22):
Door and said no, and we turned around and had
to eat it in the car before the movie. So
can't bring in a large pizza, FYI.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
You know that's good to know.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
Yeah, yeah, you used to have to sneak the sneak
snacks in in your gym.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
You always have to seek stacks and you put them
in your sweatshirt. You put them in your purse. They
don't check your purse like a bottle of water.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Yeah, it's kind of like when you're on a plane
and somebody comes down sits next to you and they
have a couple of slices of pizza they're eating. It's
like annoying.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
It's like, or just get a giant bucket of popcorn.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
We used to cut a hole in the bottom of
the popcorn.

Speaker 9 (31:55):
It used to be fun those memory.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Yeah, okay, it's fun for some people.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
I thought it was very creative for the time. I think.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Yeah, I think so too.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Want a little more, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Okay. Also this morning, we talked about the updates on
the Bill Belichick saga with Jordan Hudson.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Hi, everybody, it's Lucy here.

Speaker 10 (32:17):
Hey Bill, if you need help and of being held hostage,
please blink twice.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
We got you.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Yeah, a little concern there for Bill Belichick. Yeah, well,
the story keeps getting crazier every single day.

Speaker 11 (32:30):
You know.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Today Lisa had the update about the Hard Knock Show.
Oh yeah, you know she got that canceled. Yeah, I'm
sure on Monday there'll be even more developments.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
I can't imagine how many more developments by Monday.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Yeah, there's a missing dog and Canton. We covered that
Bailey goldendoodle. Lookout for young Bailey out.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
There, Captain Mike Yea, are you positive that the dog's
name isn't Chloe and he's headed to Denham today to
testify in the Karen Reid case.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Well, it is back in session to look for the dog.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
It's a little golden doodle with a pink band. Dan,
we got to find the dog.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
Yeah, I'm so worried about the little dog.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Thank you too, definitely. And as you know, as we
wrap up this Friday, wrap up another week on The
Billy and Lisa Show, just remember this.

Speaker 7 (33:14):
I just wanted to wish you a fabulous weekend. I
hope it's fun. I hope it's relaxing. I hope it's
full of peace. And like I tell everyone, this show
is truly medicine for the soul.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
It really is. So thank you for all that you do.

Speaker 2 (33:29):

Billion Lisa Morning Show. Yeah, I me and everybody's got memories.

Speaker 2 (33:56):

with you at all times. Something crazy happens, leave it talkback,
even this weekend. I'll get it Monday morning.

Speaker 5 (34:20):

Speaker 3 (34:20):
