that was as fast as it can be.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Yeah, the Q was nuts.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I guess I'm not really sure what that last caller
was talking about. I was three thousand, eight hundred and
thirty seven in the queue, and by the time it
got to me, it already sold out except the floor seats,
which were six hundred and thirty two dollars each and
they were only individual ones, so it was already sold
out way before that last call of sick they go quick.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah wow, some people did get them, though, I.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Just sin I don't know if I'm doing this right.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
I'm old.

Speaker 6 (00:50):
But with the help of my daughter, we got three
lows seats for jingle Ball.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Oh eazyow lows.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
That's nice. I love loads.

Speaker 7 (01:03):
I think it's it's a perfect perch A little bit. Yeah,
being a short early I.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Love Loach and it seems like everybody in Lows is nice,
you know, because they're not banging into each other, you know,
down there on the floor.

Speaker 8 (01:16):
I'm just just like for the Working Middle Classic.

Speaker 7 (01:19):
We're here, but we're not there.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Loas is good. Well, I've got tickets right now for
Coller twenty five jingle Ball presented by Capitol One featuring
Ed Sharon, which is huge. It's happening December fourteenth. We
need a Caller twenty five and the keyboard is going

you gotta want to get there early and you got
to be quick.

news this morning, justin there's a high school in Wyndham,
New Hampshire that has no lights for the football field.

Yeah, Wyndham High we got to help them get some lights.
They're part of this big national team mobile contest. Yeah,
and they're in like the top running to win a
million dollars to get new lights. Now, think about this
Friday night lights that was a great show on a movie, right,

and break it all down. But I got to give
a shout out to one of the parents that I

Speaker 9 (03:17):
When I was talking to them yesterday, I go, wait
a minute, wait, football is played high school football is
played on Friday night. Yeah, they go, No, we don't

the grand prize of one million dollars that would allow
them to install lights, among other things.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Voting is now open on t mobiles website. Yeah. No,
I think it's really cool, especially being a small town
in New Hampshire, one of the smallest in Division one.
So I think it's great to get us in the
spotlight of.

Speaker 9 (04:49):
It, getting all that stuff in the field and being
able to have games like on Fridays and stuff.

Speaker 5 (04:54):

and it's just it'd be like a great thing for
our community.

Speaker 14 (04:59):
What's a multi use field out there? So it's fall,
it's spring, it's the whole deal. And you know, we
know there's twenty five other schools that are hoping for
the same thing, but you know, we're hoping everybody votes
and we can win this time.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah, so they're finalists. They got twenty five thousand least,
but they need a million. They need the grand prize.
They do. So we've got Terry Maloney on the phone
right now at Wyndham High apparent volunteers spearheading all of this.

Speaker 11 (05:22):
Terry, you there, I am, Thank you so much for
having me.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
All right, Terry, So we got the twenty five grand,
what do we need to do? Come on, let's go.

Speaker 11 (05:32):

New Hampshire, everybody, anybody in anywhere to just vote for us,
every email, every day. Just keep the momentum going so
we can reach our goal of getting the million dollars
and getting some lights on our field and some Friday

it myself.

Speaker 1 (06:15):

Gronk Fitness will come in and outsit your weight rooms.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
He'll upgrade it all.

Speaker 11 (06:25):
The equipment and everything. So pretty amazing.

Speaker 1 (06:28):

They have goods, tough, beautiful gyms they set up. Okay,
so wonderful. People have to vote. So what's it been like?
You know, everybody else having their Friday night games and
there you are with the day games on Saturday.

Speaker 11 (06:44):

need our lights though, Well.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
We're going to get you those lights. Okay, I don't

That's a nice thing. You gotta get some lights.

Speaker 16 (08:35):
Like.

Speaker 9 (08:35):
My heart was kind of broken when I talked to them,
because I'm like, what's the deal and they're like, we
don't have Friday night games.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Especially when you think the towns around them are having
Friday night game.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah, they gotta go there on Saturday during the day. Crazy.

Speaker 9 (08:48):
Anyway, We'll post the link up on our social media

On October twenty fourth.

Speaker 13 (08:53):
Billy and Lisa Now the entertainment update with the Billy Copstead.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Okay, I'm sorry, sorry, I'm anxious. I'm anxious. The Red
Sox took Game one from the Yankees in New York
last night. Yankees had the early lead one Zip Socks
got a couple of runs in the seventh, another run
in the ninth, and things got really scary bottom of
the ninth. The Yankees got three hits in a row.
They loaded the bases, nobody out, but Chapman shut it

(09:19):
all down. Final call is ready, he throws, he got up.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Chapman leaves the bases loaded, and the Red Sox win
Game one, three to one.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
In the Bronx, Yeah, those two runs in the seventh
came off of Bregman double. Here was that Callear and
Bregnant down the line. That's a fair ball off the lone.
He'll hit to second.

Speaker 9 (09:47):
He will be in there with the double and insurance.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
From Trevor's story, it's three one Red Sox and one
Zip in the series.

Speaker 9 (09:57):
I just love they do two things when they when
they reach when they get a good hit, Oh yeah,
they do the thing yeah, and then they do the
wind up. Yeah, you know, and there. I don't know
exactly what that is.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Out of either, but I do know we have a
game too tonight, six o'clock start. Meantime, Adam Sandler had
a sold out show in the TV Garden last night.
The show last night did include his Chris Farley tribute
song He's.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
In Bold in the Hipshow.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Yeah. He also talked about Bad Bunny doing the Super
Bowl halftime show don't forget Bad Bunny was his caddy
and Happy Gilmore too.

Speaker 17 (10:27):
He's going to be amazing and he's quite a performer
and I love that man. I finished playing basketball today
and I got a text on the Bunny himself and
he said, you just finished playing basketball. I watched you
or something like that. He was on the same street.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
I love him.

Speaker 10 (10:44):
I loved him in that movie. All really good on.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
It, and he's gonna crush The halftime show will this weekend.
The Smashing Machine opens in theaters across America. Huge demand
for this movie. The life story of UFC legend Mark Kerr,
played by The Rock and Mark Kerr went on Rogan
this week and couldn't believe it when he saw The
Rock as him.

Speaker 15 (11:06):
So first time I saw him in Vancouver, like nobody
told me. Nobody said, hey, listen, we're gonna do prosthetics.
We're gonna give me your califlower ear, we're gonna make
his brow. And then nobody told me this, and I
turn around and it's like this.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Like I see him as me, like oh my god.

Speaker 15 (11:23):
And it's this moment where I'm looking at him and
I'm looking at my like myself. I could still see
him in there, but I'm like looking at like a
mirror picture myself, and it's this experience where I'm like,
oh my god, man, like wow, like you like you're
going like this is you going to a place that

(11:46):
nobody even thought you could get to?

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeah, and the rock took some real hits in this movie.
He insisted on it.

Speaker 18 (11:52):
But I said to our fighter, I said, hey, brother,
I know it sounds crazy, but you got hit me.
You have to hit me. And he is a Japanese fighter,
very respectful. He goes, no, no, no, I will not hit you.
He refused to hit me, and I finally said, please,
we have one shot at this. You must hit me,
And Benny came over and said you must hit him.
And but then he said, I know you respect DJ,

(12:15):
but I know you respect the fight that actually happened
with Mark Kurr in Japan. Let's stay, let's keep our
integrity and wail away.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Benny's the director. He did Uncut Gems. Yeah, I love
that movie.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (12:30):
I'm really happy for the rock Man because he's been
looking for a different kind of role, you know, an
Oscar worthy role. But it's tough when you're his size.
He looks like that. This is perfect.

Speaker 10 (12:40):
It is perfect.

Speaker 9 (12:41):
So I'm going Saturday night. It's getting good reviews, but
I'll have a full review. You won't be here, Bill,
You'll be in Africa. I certainly will.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Ye'll text you. Earlier this week, Lola Young collapsed during
her show in New York. Yesterday, she announced she's canceling
all her upcoming shows, anything coming up in the future,
for the foreseeable future, needs to spend time on herself.
It's kind of sadly, you.

Speaker 10 (13:05):
Know, sad, but hopeful. I am. The fact that she
knows that she needs to step away and get help
is actually very hopeful. And Sean Mendez did it and
took several years off and now he's back touring. He
was just your last week at the Garden. So I
think she's taking care of herself.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
We're talking about it earlier. Sometimes the fame just comes
too fast, too much.

Speaker 10 (13:25):
Justin Bieber canceled his whole tour right well, he had
that paralysis too on his face, remember that. Yeah, But yeah,
I think that because of social media and things just
moving so quickly, they don't have the skill set sometimes
at such a young age to deal with.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
The demands are incredible once things take off incredible. By
the way. The cancelations include her plan show at Roadrunner
at Boston Landing November fourth, Justin, you showed me a
video this morning? Didn't Justin Bieber post something else weird overnight?

Speaker 9 (13:56):
He posted at three in the morning. I don't you
have to go look at it on Instagram. He's just
like like jamming to a Dominican song or like a
Latino song, kind of with his sunglasses on and this
weird like thing on his head.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Maybe that means he's going to join a bad Bunny,
like a bad Bunny song. I can't confirm that. He
doesn't say anything. He's there with goggles and.

Speaker 8 (14:20):
Did you guys see he posted for him and Haley's
in the anniversaries today, So he posted this like sexy
picture of her and was like, happy anniversary.

Speaker 10 (14:27):
Well she's at Paris Fashion Week right now. Yeah, all
over the place looking great.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Are you saying that Michelle and I Sharon Anniversity?

Speaker 7 (14:36):
You actually stole the date from them. They got married
a couple of years before you.

Speaker 10 (14:38):
They got married and bluffed in South Carolina.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Yeah you were almost there.

Speaker 10 (14:43):
Yeah, well I was at the place that they got
married several times.

Speaker 8 (14:46):
I'm pretty sure that they were like all metal bluff
ten eleven, ten to one twenty nineteen. I think they are,
and you're ten to one twenty one.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Yeah, happy anniversary. Huh. So we move on, Sam Smith.
You love Samson.

Speaker 7 (15:00):
I love Sam Smith.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
He is announcing a residency in San Francisco. We're talking
multiple shows through February of next year. But he's also
releasing a cover of the Bill Withers classic Ain't No
Sunshine No Sunsin. That's beautiful. Yeah, what an amazing voice.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
Sam's came back to Sam's roots.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Interesting song selection though, it's a good song.

Speaker 7 (15:27):
Remember when Sam had that last tour that was just
very interesting. Yeah, the music it was.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
It was just not He's at his moments.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yea.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
He certainly has no detour. Yeah, a little bit of
a detour. Sometimes they're very quick. It's just one block
left and then you're back on the main road. He's not.
Time magazine now with its most influential Rising Stars in
the World. Tate McCrae high on the list, as is

(15:56):
Gracie Abrams and Lisa There's some sort of a connection
betwe between Lisa's book club and this list.

Speaker 10 (16:02):
Okay, so Jody Pico just did my book club and
she wrote one of the essays. You know how they
ask celebrities to write why this person is a rising star?
And she wrote it for an author called Ali Hazelwood,
and she wrote deep in. I just loved seeing Jody's
name in Time one hundred.

Speaker 7 (16:20):
I don't think you have their peers right about them?

Speaker 10 (16:22):
Yeah, like Jonathan Bailey. Ariana Grande wrote the piece about him.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Wow.

Speaker 10 (16:26):
And you know who wrote Tate mccray's Dakota Johnson after that?

Speaker 7 (16:31):
Interesting?

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Interesting choice?

Speaker 7 (16:33):
Yea the friends or something.

Speaker 10 (16:34):
I have no idea, but.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Hey, the Wheel of Fortune had its biggest winner ever
last night with our buddy Ryan Secret Things. That is
the category. Christina is staring at me. Good luck, pack
of coyotes.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Christina, you're a millionaire.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Wow, million bucks.

Speaker 7 (17:07):
So many things had to go right for her to
win that million.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Yeah. It's a process.

Speaker 8 (17:11):
Yeah, So first you have to win it while you're
doing the regular game with the two other people. Then
you can't get a bankrupt or anything during the rest
of the game. Then you have to get to the
final and win that, and then you have to spin
that wheel to get whatever they replace it with.

Speaker 7 (17:23):
So that long journey, it's a long journeys to get
you a million.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
She did it all. Did he get sentenced this Friday?
His lawyers are fighting for time already spent, and prosecutors
are looking for what at least eleven years.

Speaker 9 (17:35):
Justine, they're asking for eleven. His team obviously is asking
for time served. He's been in a little bit over
a year. He's two charges. They both carry a maximum
sentence of ten years, so that will be twenty years.
So I think prosecutors are looking like, huh, well half
of that eleven?

Speaker 8 (17:50):
Wow, in your experience from is this his first technical
like legal offense that he will I'm.

Speaker 9 (17:55):
Not sure about that that If that's true, that could
be used, you know, defense.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yeah, I'm not really sure.

Speaker 9 (18:02):
If I had to guess, maybe maybe three or four years,
or we could get time served.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I don't think he'll get eleven though.

Speaker 8 (18:07):
Time served just seems like crazy, and that means he'd
be out tomorrow Friday immediately.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Yeah. Yeah, you got your sponsors standing by there.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
Bill Justin was.

Speaker 16 (18:18):
Talking about what might happen the duty sentencing, and Billy
went into the ad. I really thought that Billy was
going to say it presented to you by Justin the
ex Convict instead of the ad. So thank you guys.

Speaker 10 (18:29):
For making the drive every morning so enervating.

Speaker 7 (18:33):
I love you.

Speaker 8 (18:34):
Yeah, this report you want to buy some advertising time?

Speaker 1 (19:34):

Speaker 10 (19:40):
I could not wait for this like I have been
dreaming about October third.

Speaker 9 (19:44):
Yes, we've been talking all about jingle Ball. Obviously, the
Capitol on pre sale sold out in minutes yesterday. The

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
