Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now this morning show in Boston.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the morning. It's just a great
start to my day on Kids one eight.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Hey, good morning, everybody. Welcome in. It is a Monday morning.
Justin here.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
It is October thirteenth. Welcome to the Billy and Lisa Show.
First things for us, Yes, we will have jingle ball tickets.
The show is sold out coming up seven ten and
a ten starring Ed Sharon, one of the hottest tickets
of the year. Those will be yours seven ten and
eight ten. Lots more to get to this morning. But
there's another Halloween trend happening at home depot?
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Is that right?
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Lease it is?
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Remember it was like the giant skeleton for at home depot. Well,
now it's a three dollars Halloween bucket that most contractors use.
That's the size of it. But it's decorated for Halloween.
It's got bats on it, it has a moon, it
has some jackal lanterns. But I guess this thing is
like the hottest thing.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
On social and what are they suggesting you use it
for us trick or trading? It seems like a big bucket.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah, you could decorate with it your house, but you can.
You can also put candy in it and use it
for trigger treating.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
You know. One else is weird though. It's the same
exact bucket that voters use.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
Everybody's got one on their boat tractors and contracted like
to wash the boat, you throw the soap in, you
holds it up.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
And now it's viral. At three dollars a put you
have to.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Say, they are kind of cute.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
And I like the home Depot logo in the middle
of it, so I can see how it's a hot item.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Oh, people have been posting all kinds of stuff from.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Home Depot and found these buckets.
Speaker 6 (01:27):
These worth three dollars right now at home Depot.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
He was like he faced times, like should I get
this for the kid? And I was like absolutely, first
of all, the ho much candy.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
These are going to hold?
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yeah, that's a way.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
So that video right there exploded and turned into this
big viral sensation. So the Halloween buckets, the new skeleton.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
So are they already gone?
Speaker 3 (01:47):
They're already selling out? Oh god, my wife wanted the
skeleton not as much this year, but last year. That's
like a few hundred bucks. Yeah, oh yeah, you know,
but this is only three bucks, But would you wait
in line for a three dollars bucket?
Speaker 1 (01:59):
I mean, my wife would make me if she wanted it.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
How about you just go anywhere and buy a plane bucket.
They're all the same and have a bucket decorating party
at the house shop is.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Yeah, So they've been selling out, and so people have
been searching different home depots across the country and they
can't find them. So some people are buying just plain
orange ones and they're decorating themselves.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
What you could do as well?
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Well, isn't there like a new little doll that's viral
now la buba?
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah, they're like.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Stuff like that. Yeah, they have.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Something, so you can get them and then resell them, right,
So a lot of people buy them on the aftermarket
for resell prices, these little stuffed dolls. We were in
Petown in one of the sex shops, they had little
Boo boos, so I think they were like a hundred bucks,
So maybe they're fifty to one hundred bucks, but they
can resell for much more.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
So my son is into them.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
So in this sex shop in pe Town, they had
them behind the counter for forty dollars.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
I don't know. Anything about them, So we bought him
one as the gift from p Town, like a sexy one. No, no, no, no, no,
it had nothing to do with the sex shop. It
was just weird. It was there. No, it was fake,
and he tries to show his friends. Oh, and his
friends like it's fake and what do you want?
Speaker 5 (03:12):
Meaning we were all in Kingtown together. I wasn't in
a sex shop. When were you spending all this time
in sex shop? We took a little detour from.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
The Planet Fitness Kiss one o eight studios.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
We're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Good morning everybody, Welcome back Billy and Lisa show. Thank
you so much for listening on this Monday morning. And
something is a brewing in Wyndham, New Hampshire. That's right
over the border, kind of near where I lived. They
need our help.
Speaker 7 (03:41):
Exciting news for Wyndham High School. The Jaguars were just
named one of twenty five finalists nationwide in the T
Mobile Friday Night five g Lights contest. They're getting a
twenty five thousand dollars prize to make athletic upgrades. But
now the Jags are a finalist for the grand prize
of one million that would allow them to install lights,
(04:02):
among other things.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Voting is now open on t mobiles website.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah no, I think it's really cool, especially being a
small town in New Hampshire, one of the smallest.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
In Division one. So I think it's great to get
us in the spotlight a.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Bit, getting all that stuff for the field, like and
being able to have games like on Fridays and stuff.
It would just get so many more people to come
and it's just it'd be like a great thing for
our community.
Speaker 8 (04:24):
It's a multi use field out there, so it's it's fall,
it's spring, it's the whole deal. And you know, we
know there's twenty five other schools that are hoping for
the same thing, but you know, we're hoping everybody votes
and we can win this time.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
So they were finalists. They got twenty five thousand least,
but they need a million. They need the grand prize.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
They do.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
So we've got Terry Maloney on the phone right now
at Wyndham High a parent volunteers spearheading all of this.
Speaker 9 (04:47):
Terry, you there, I am thank you so much for
having me.
Speaker 5 (04:52):

New Hampshire, everybody, anybody in anywhere to just vote for
us every email, every day. Just keep the momentum going
so we can reach our goal of getting the million
dollars and getting some lights on our field and some
Friday night games here. That's what we definitely need.

Gronksitness will come in and outfit your weight rooms. He'll
upgrade it all the equipment and everything.
Speaker 1 (05:52):

Speaker 5 (05:53):
And that's what they do for a living. The Brothers
they have good, tough, beautiful gyms. They set up.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
So wonderful people have to vote. So what's it been like?
Speaker 5 (06:04):
You know, everybody else having their Friday night games and
there you are with the day games on Saturday.
Speaker 9 (06:09):
Yeah, isn't that crazy? It's so uncold for We really
need our lights.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Though, Well, we're going to get you those lights. Okay,
I don't want to go.
Speaker 5 (06:16):

Speaker 9 (06:35):

And then Dy'll announcer went on October thirtieth.
Speaker 5 (06:42):

the lights.
Speaker 9 (06:46):

the light off the lights.

Nice thing. You gotta get some light.
Speaker 3 (08:00):

to them because I'm like, what's the deal, and they're like,
we don't have Friday night.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Games, especially when you think the towns around them are
having Friday night game.

Speaker 3 (08:13):

until October twenty fourth.
Speaker 7 (08:18):
Here's Jimmy founding when I'm in Boss and I like
to listen to Billy and Lisa in the morning on
Kiss went await Hey, Lisa.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
So the jingle Ball twenty twenty five sented by Capital
One and starring ed Sharon coming to the TD Garden
December fourteenth. Yes, it is completely sold out. The only
way in is to win with us on Kiss one
to wait and look at that. I have a pair
of tickets in my hand right now. If you want
to go see Ed in an amazing lineup, give me
a call six one seven, nine, three one one one.
(08:46):
Oh wait, it's a caller twenty five. But you'll need
a keyword or a key phrase, and that today is
bad to the bone.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
The bone of the bowel.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
Oh yeah, and bad to the bone is a key word.
Because we have a cam Neely from your Boston Bruins
on the phone cam.
Speaker 6 (09:07):
You there buddy, I am billy. I see what you
did there?
Speaker 1 (09:10):
You know nt smooth, buddy?
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Come on, hey, Lisa, right, I'm great.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Cam. Now became your theme song? Is it still your
theme song?
Speaker 6 (09:22):
I don't have a theme song.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
You know they should play that.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
I was retired a long time ago as well.
Speaker 10 (09:29):
Okay, but I'm just saying, when you walk into the
luxury suite, the presidential suite at the TV Garden before
the game, they should play bad to the Bone and
then you waved everybody.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
That's not a bad idea.
Speaker 5 (09:42):
Here we go again, buddy, comics come home. How many
years is this?
Speaker 6 (09:48):
This is twenty nine. We lost a couple during the
COVID years, but this is twenty nine, which is kind
of crazy if you think about it.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
And it's really a beautiful story. I was there at
the beginning. It's a beautiful story. How it was born.
We get new listeners to the show every day. Cam,
Can you briefly tell us the story how it was born?
Speaker 1 (10:10):
The foundation?
Speaker 6 (10:12):
Yeah. So, just before I got traded, my father was
having seiziers. This is April of eighty six. He started
having cazars. I got traded in June and subsequently find
out he had a brain tumor, and then while my
dad was going through that, my mother wasn't well and
ended up having cancer of the secum, which is part
(10:33):
of the colon. So you know, as a professional athlete,
you get asked to a lot of charitable things, and
I was like, Okay, if I'm going to give my time,
I want to make it more meaningful. So I got
involved with more cancer related charities and then I said, well,
as a family member of a cancer patient, I kind
of saw some things that were needed for today. I'm
(10:55):
a big believer in research obviously, but I noticed that
there was a gap to be able to help pat
patients and families today. So while playing in Vancouver, the
Canucks were heavily associated with the Ronald McDonald House, and
I really liked that concept. So I, long story short,
ended up connecting with Tufts Medical Center at the time
(11:18):
New England Medical Center and they said, well, we have
a vacant wing. If you want to renovate that, you're
welcome to do so. And that was the birth of
the Neely House and memory of my parents. It's really
to help cancer patients and families and we've had, you know,
since it's open. We've had over forty thousand families. It
(11:41):
really is. I mean, it just gives you an idea
of the need for a facility like that. And you know,
we're very blessed with the support we've got. As I've
said many times, most everybody has been touched by a
cancer in one way, shape or form.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Well as it happens. I lost my dad to a
brain tumor.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
But it's amazing when you've seen the Neely House and
the foundation grow. I mean, you really see your money
at work. And now we've got comics come Home. It's
happening again November eighth. And I know Dennis Leary traditionally
kicks off the show and it's one of the highlights
every single year. I always wanted to ask you, Cam,
when does he start rehearsing that?
Speaker 6 (12:20):
Oh, I mean he does our event in Michael J.
Fox's event, and you know he hosts both of them
and they're a week apart. What I do know is
that he starts, you know, not long after both events
are done. You know, he starts cultivating ideas and how
he's going to kick off each each event. But with
the comedy show, I know he works on it probably
(12:43):
eight months leading up to and then really founes it.
You know, his schedule is crazy right now, he's he's
in Ireland shooting a series. So you know, I give
him all the credit in the world for for not
only not only putting in the show on and kicking
it off, but inviting all the comics that have come
(13:04):
over all these years and gratefully they have donated their time,
which also is a huge benefit to the Foundations.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
And let's not forget Dennis Leary is also an outstanding actor.
I mean everything he's in he's really good, and you've
got an outstanding lineup. Sebastian Menacecalco is coming. Is this
his first time a Comics Come Home?
Speaker 6 (13:23):
Yes, it is, And we thought we might have had
him a couple of years ago, but his schedule didn't permit.
He said, believe me, it'll be back, and he was
true to his words. So anybody that knows his comedy
it's gold. So we're very excited to have Sebastian this year.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
And I can't remember if you've had Sarah Silverman before.
She's hilarious.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
Oh she's a right. She came early on in our benefit.
I don't know what year it was, but it was
early on and we're thrilled to have her back. She
is the right.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
Yeah, I got to tell you the Morning Show, the
entire Morning Show goes every single year and Lisa am
I lying.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
We just laugh one minute to the next.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
It's our favorite event of the whole year.
Speaker 6 (14:05):
Well, it's you know, the beauty of it is, you know,
everybody's going through something in life, right, and you know,
the last bunch of years has been very, very toxic.
If you if you will and to be able to
be able to you know, whether you're dealing with someone
that's not feeling well or ill or or whatever's going
(14:25):
on in your life, you can go to go to
this event and help raise money but also laugh your
butt off for a couple of hours. It's not a
bad not a bad way to spend an evening.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
You know, You're right, Kim, if you're feeling down, something's
going on with the family, why not go to one
of the best comedy events of the entire year. And
it's always at the TD Garden. Although it didn't start.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
There or did it, Cam No, I mean, you know,
initially I'd asked Dennis, would you do a benefit for
the foundation. I thought it was just going to be
him doing an hour set and you know, we'll raise
some money. Uh, And he said, listen, I'm going to
invite Thomas come home. Was really about a lot of
local comedians, you know, got their start here in Boston,
(15:06):
whether they're from Boston or in Massachusetts. But you know,
there's as you know, Bill, there's a lot of great
comedy houses in Boston area. So we started the Orphium
was twenty five hundred seats when we sold out right away.
We kept selling out. Then people kept asking, you know,
can you put me on a waiting list? I want
to go. Yeah. Then we went to the Aganist Arena
(15:28):
and I think it was six or seven thousand feets
and then Dennis says, as we were approaching our twenty
at Dennis goes, do you think we can get the garden?
I said, well, I'm fairly certain we can get the garden,
But do you think we could sell it out? He goes,
I know we can sell it out.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
Yeah, You've got some connections at that garden.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
Speaking of the garden, cam my son Chris's company I
think is right above your office in the garden.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
For a card Vault by Tom Brady.
Speaker 6 (15:54):
Oh yeah, yeah, right at the Verizon tower there.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Yeah, you know, Cam, I wouldn't kill you to drop by,
knock on the door and say hi Chris, because let's
not forget when my son Chris was born. You were
the first person to visit and I was so close
to naming him Cam, and I'm not even making that.
How could he possibly.
Speaker 6 (16:14):
Remember that day like it was yesterday. It's crazy how
long ago that was, Billy Well.
Speaker 5 (16:19):
Cam always a pleasure. We can't wait for comics to
come home. It's November eighth. Where do they go for tickets? Cam,
They're going to go fast?
Speaker 6 (16:26):
Yeah, ticketmaster dot com. I mean there's they have done fast.
So if you're interested in going and supporting a great
cause and having a great night a laugh sort to
ticketmaster dot com.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
So I was up late last night. You know this
show Black Rabbit with Jason Bateman and jam Wally.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
We are watching right now. Do not spoil it. I
we've one episode left.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
I'm done and I've said it from the start, right
that it gets better with each passing episode, and it's
so good.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Jason Bateman is my favorite actor.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Explosive ending, that's all I'm gonna say the two of
them are just so good.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Jude law and.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
And I haven't watched it yet. I was a little
nervous because you said it starts slow. I thought you
were gonna say I had to stop watching it here.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
It's good, it's very violent.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
But the bad news is I need a show. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
Yeah, we mentioned this earlier. If we don't help Billy
and give him a show, he'll start watching like old
seventies and eighties.
Speaker 11 (17:23):
And which he was love Boat yesterday. Yeah, which is
not the wrong with If it's your comfort show, that's it. Yeah, Billy. So,
this Red Sox doc is out today on ESPN Plus.
It's called Believers. It features Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Donnie Wahlberg.
I mean, this thing looks insane. I actually have the
the trailer.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Here if you want to hear, if you were from Boston,
you were a born loser.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Every other Red Sox fan would look at you and
know what you've been through.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Misery is the binding force, this team curse. Probably the
doc is day in Boston baseball history. This is out
of control. This has to end. Year after year after year.
All that heartbreak lit a fire in me. It was
a family. It felt like the whole world's upside.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Back would feel incredible to watch the impossible.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Nothing could stop me from believing. Don't let the Socks
win this game.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
There's no other way to break the curse.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
It's never gonna be the same, but it's way better
than losing.
Speaker 12 (18:39):
You know.
Speaker 5 (18:39):
The most amazing thing about this doc that's out this weekend,
they had no idea when they picked the release date
that the Red Sox will be walking into their final
three games this weekend at Fenway Park with the playoffs
at stake.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
So true.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
They got to win one game. That's the magic number
one game. They have three left. They have to win
one or the Astros have to lose. I thought it
was gonna be last night against the Blue Jays.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
God, I'm getting the kind of chills that don't go away.
Speaker 5 (19:04):
You know what I mean when you think of the
doc and the series at Fenway this week and the
timing couldn't be more perfect, and it was all accidental perfect.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Yeah, you gotta watch that. Add that to the list.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Also this weekend, Billy on Netflix, This probably isn't for you,
but the streaming premiere of Karate Kid Legends.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Oh god, it's not what it's a reboot of Karate Kids.
Ralph Machio is still part of that.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
I think Jackie Chan. Yeah, well, Cobra Kai is a
big show. I know your kids watch Cobra Kai, right, yeah, Lisa.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Yeah they did. Yeah, absolutely, rather loved it.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
I tried Copra Kai. I couldn't get into the second episode. Okay.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
There's a new show that just dropped yesterday on Netflix
called Wayward with Tony Collette. I am a huge Tony
Collette fan. It is about a mysterious town and stuff
that happens to teens in the town.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
And it just dropped yesterday.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
You're a huge fan of time.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
She's an amazing actress. Everything she's ever been and I've
loved really. Yeah, it's called Wayward. Okay, that's a Netflix
Netflix just dropped yesterday.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Trailer on Peacock Bill. I don't know if you have
Peacock tonight, the streaming premiere of Megan two point zero.
You know Meghan, the horror movie with a little.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
The Little Doll Doll. Yeah, okay, all right, I like
her on the weekend.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
You could add that on This is a little bit away,
but October seventeenth. I've been seeing this NonStop on Netflix,
this documentary The Perfect Neighbor. It's getting Oscar buzz. Producer
Riley's nodding her head. She knows what I'm talking about.
It's a true story of a woman in Florida in
a neighborhood that was killed and there were all these
nine to one one calls from this woman. So they
have bodycam footage kind of tell the story leading up
(20:34):
to this woman's death. Wow, it's supposed to be incredible.
I watched the trailer. It looks crazy. But this week,
October seventeenth, so that's that's coming, right. Okay, you know,
if there's other stuff premiering this weekend bill the premiere
of sixty Minutes to watch that, Okay, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Six that's a good shot. Everybody loves sixty minutes.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
It's kind of you get around to watching the episode,
like I need something hot for the weekend.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Yeah, but I've got the Red Song that's really good.
That's really good. And I've got Red Sox Baseball that's
really good.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
That's really good. You can watch that. You can watch
them both, all of it. Did you watch the Charlie
Sheen Doc.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
You finished that. Yeah, that was.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
Really got a little redundant after a while, a lot
of the same old craziness.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
It could have been just one episode, yes, what I
thought stretched it a little bit.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
But you did finish Black Rabbit.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Yeah, Black Rabbit, guys, watch it.
Speaker 13 (21:22):
So I started watching Black Rabbit, and last night I
was watching episode four. No spoilers, but I got so
anxious about it I had to turn it off. It like,
it stressed me out a little bit. But I'm going
to plug through and watch it till the end. But
just a little crazy for me.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
I agree with the talkbacker because my anxiety came from
watching Jason Bateman all kind of dishovelo.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
It really throws you as a as a you know,
as an actor.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Yeah, he's good.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
He's so good.
Speaker 5 (21:52):
It's not easy to create that look. He looked like
he had showered her bathe.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
In about six months, really really dirty.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
I got to get this.
Speaker 9 (22:03):
I don't know if Billy has seen it yet, but
on Netflix Hunting.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Wives, oh yeah, all right.
Speaker 13 (22:09):
And I heard they just got renewed for another season.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Yes, I don't know if that's a joker. And how
about Billy literally discovered hunting. He told us about it, yes,
and we thought he was crazy. I felt filthy watching it.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Alone on the boat, but then it just got so
good and it became the number one show in the country.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Such a great.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
Thanks to topic time for the Billy and Lisa in
the morning.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
Yeah, we're talking about shows we should be watching, the
shows we could be watching. I need a new show.
I'm done with Black Rabbit, which was phenomenal.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
I'm gonna need one too, because we only have one
more episode left.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Is Tony Collette coming out with that.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Saying you're a Tony It's great.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Don't worry. Her listener has got her back here, Happy Friday.
Speaker 14 (22:54):
This is Kim. I agree with Li said Tony collect
is amazing, So I'm gonna present twenty five and that
they watched Wayward tonight. However, I do feel Billy as
far as being nostalgic my favorites. I went back and
watched Ugly Betty Desperate Housewives. You guys, those jokes would
(23:16):
never fly in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
It's like the Wild Wile West. Give it a try.
It's so true.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Ugly Betty was a great show that was America for our.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Oh yeah, and Desperate Housewives. That was huge when it
was all let's go to MJ and Rhode Island. MJ,
you got something for us.
Speaker 15 (23:33):
Yeah. Have you guys watched Pulse on Netflix. It's called
Pete Pulse. It's a hospital show.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
No, I haven't. I haven't even heard of it.
Speaker 15 (23:42):
Oh my god, I just caught it last night, you guys.
That starts out it's a Miami hospital, it's a hurricane,
and you find out that this female doctor just filed
a sexual harassment claim against a male doctor, and then
it kind of flashes between the present and this like
past relationship between them. Yeah, the guy from the Morning show.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
Is in it.
Speaker 15 (24:07):
I really strongly recommend it. I could not look away.
I could not look away. Guys, I usually have another
scream going, and I was like.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Riveted, Okay, I will try it up. Pulse.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
It just hit me last night I started watching Billionaire's Bunker.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Oh about Silicon Valley? Man? Is that good? It's crazy.
I'll give you the general gist.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
These people teamed up and created what was an underground
under the ocean city in case of an emergency of
World war, nuclear bombs, things like that.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
But it was well, I shouldn't say anything. It was
all a scam. Well, don't ruin, Okay.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
No, is a real story, Yes story.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
Oh I don't think so. Billionaire's bunker, check it out.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
I don't see a pen in your hand writing these
shows down.
Speaker 5 (24:54):
There's this obsession with doctors and firefighters and cut enough.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
I'll get enough for those shows.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
There's another one with Yeah, let's go to Phizer online
one Fier.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Good morning. You're on the air.
Speaker 15 (25:09):

Speaker 6 (25:10):
This is Fiz.
Speaker 15 (25:11):
I'm driving my daughter to school right now. I just
wanted to I just wanted to share my favorite show,
Beauty and Black.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
What is it?
Speaker 15 (25:23):
It's Beauty and Black, Beauty and Black.
Speaker 5 (25:27):
Okay, all right, by the way, is that really your name, Phizer?
Speaker 4 (25:33):
No, it's Fiza, Yes, s A, I z A okay,
Well thank you.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
It's pretty.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Oh, it's like Pier with a Boston accent exactly.
Speaker 5 (25:44):
I mean, let's go to Don. She's on the phone.
Don give us a good one for the weekend. Come on,
Don pull through.
Speaker 6 (25:51):
Hi, good morning morning.
Speaker 15 (25:54):
So on Netflix, Franklin and Bash. It's like a legal show,
similar to suits.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, but they cut this so funny.
Speaker 6 (26:03):
It's like unconventional kind of the way that they practice law.
Really great show.
Speaker 9 (26:09):
I think it has like three episodes, I mean three seasons.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Oh, three whole seasons.
Speaker 6 (26:15):
Don Oh my god, I know, but it's so it's
so good, it really is.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
You love it?
Speaker 2 (26:21):
But do you have you have a problem?
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Lawyership's kind of done with lawyer shows. But all due respect,
thank you for the idea, don Ton.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
Oh my god, I think we have a front runner here, though, Bill,
you want to write this down.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
I got several.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
When I say several, I mean like upwards of twenty
recommendations for this show The Girlfriend.
Speaker 16 (26:40):
The Girlfriend on Amazon Prime just finished it six episodes,
so good.
Speaker 13 (26:46):
Billy watched The Girlfriend on Amazon really so many.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
Another show that Billy could watch is The Girlfriend on Prime.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Okay, it's like a thriller.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
It's sexy, it's fun, it's nice.
Speaker 13 (26:58):
It's based off a book.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
But I think you'd like it. That's good. Well, because
Bill's like my girlfriend. Well in a way. You know,
you know what's bugging me about.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
All the news?
Speaker 1 (27:08):
Oh? Great?
Speaker 2 (27:09):
What she was great?
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Are they teaming up Tony Collett and Robin Wright?
Speaker 5 (27:14):
No?
Speaker 1 (27:14):
You know what's bugging me about a lot of the
new shows. I'm sick of the dubbing.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
We're getting a lot of these new shows are coming
from in from overseas yea, and the dubbing is just
so bad that it aggravates you.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
I actually stay away from shows like that. It has
to be really, really good for me to watch it
and follow it.
Speaker 5 (27:32):
I started another show called The Guest, and the dubbing
was so bad.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
It was so off that I had to stop watching it.
A lot of sex in it. Okay, all right, let's
keep it going here.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
I have a good one for you.
Speaker 13 (27:47):
I just started Task on HBO Max with Mark Ruffalo,
who I love, and it's pretty good so far, a
little suspenseful.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
So try that one out.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
I'd add that one in Bill. I haven't seen it,
but Mark Ruffalo is really good.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
He's a good actor. He's really good. Yeah, this is Lisa.
We do this segment with Bill to help him out.
Speaker 7 (28:08):
I know.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
And he doesn't take it. He doesn't take any of
the suggestions.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
No, because I'm not rushing home to enjoy the weekend
with Mark Ruffalo.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
My god, I think Task looks like a good It
looks like a good show.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Task.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Yeah, it's on HBO Max.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
All right, Yeah, just write it down.
Speaker 13 (28:26):
Just a quick show suggestion.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
I happen to just somehow fall into Animal Kingdom. It's
actually a few years old and there's six seasons, but
it's really really really good.
Speaker 15 (28:37):
Definite good bindwatch, so check it out.
Speaker 6 (28:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
I keep seeing the promos for Animal Kingdom. It's got
to be a good show everywhere that everywhere. Yeah, hold on,
hold on, hold on. Producer Riley, who's covering for Winnie,
who is out with shingles, covering the board, doing a
great job. She has a show recommendation.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
It's actually a movie.
Speaker 16 (28:56):
But the new Superman that just came out is on
hbox now, no bill, Okay, then Abel should watch it.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
It was really good. I'm not into superhero movies at all.
Speaker 16 (29:09):
But this one was really good, Lisa, you should watch it.
David Korn's was hot, all right, Okay, so.
Speaker 5 (29:13):
I got to watch the new Superman movie because the
guy is hot.
Speaker 16 (29:17):
Actually there's a dog in it that makes that kind
of makes the movies that.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Story Superman's dog. Yeah, yeah, it's a rescue you love dogs. Yeah, yeah, Riley,
here we go. He's not watching Superman. Never, he's not.
He's not at all.
Speaker 12 (29:31):
No way, Hey, this is Nick Billy is off for
some horror on the weekend. Netflix is Fall of the
House of Usher. It's an eight episode series. It is amazing.
It is truly it's it's scary, it's well written, it's
well acted.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Definitely worth a try. I'll give that a try to Collett.
All right, let's take one more here, Amy, good morning.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Lisa, Sony collapsed, love
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Her, Oh my god.
