Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up, motherfucker? Oh that's right, we can say that right.
Suck you. So the mayor of the South End called
during the show today. By the way, Hi, everybody after
show Billy's hair, Yeah, you might want to clear that up. Yeah,
the outset. Yeah, the mayor of the South End called
in because the talkbacks are broken. I pick up the
phone and he goes, oh, the talkbacks don't work. I
have to call in live. I go yeah, and he goes,
(00:21):
I love when you swear on the after show, so
shout out to him. Yeah. I mean, I don't want
to be too offensive here, but if I want to swear,
I can swear.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Yeah. And for the longest time I didn't know that.
I thought you were setting me up. The first few
times I came on the after show, I'm like, are
you setting me up? Telling me go ahead and swear,
and then you pull it and you send it to
the front office.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
No, you've said much worse on the end. That's for sure.
You are a crazy person. But anyway, how are you
doing after jingle Ball? You get to sleep last night?
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Yeah? I had. Let's see, yesterday I went home, I
had a three hour under the cover, solid nap three hours.
The show lets me nap. She doesn't bother me, and
you know, Titus will come up and he'll just nap
with me, so he's used to it. So I had
a great nap. I had a great night's sleep last night.
So I'm back.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Okay, thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
You worked your ass off.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
No one works harder than you.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
And should we tell everybody when they can hear the
end of Year or the jingle Ball special the top
the countdown from jingle Ball, the one we did there?
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, yeah, So it aired on live on Sunday, aired
again last night, and then we're re airing at this
Saturday and Sunday. So Saturday at nine, yeah, Sunday at
seven o'clock.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
A little behind the scenes on the jingle Ball. I'm
a little pissed off at Ed Shearon. You know, I
love Ed Shearon. He's one of my favorite people in
the world. But Ed, you owe us a favor. I mean,
you owe us an apology. You canceled the interview. You
were the only one at jingle Ball that didn't do
the interview. And I understood when I heard you were
coming in just a couple of minutes before you hit
the stage. But you were hanging out for a long time.
(01:52):
You could have spent some time with us.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
I'm just saying he wanted to watch the show. He
watched the entire show from the side.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
I would have interviewed him right there next to the stage.
Now the show two three minutes, come on, ed.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
You know what's crazy, as I really believe, and this
is from meeting him before. He didn't make the decision.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I know.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
I know if you walked up to him and asked him,
he would have said, yes, yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Well I did walk up. Yeah, we did well, documented
on Instagram from backstage. But that was just to acknowledge
the fact that he came back for jingle Ball and
on behalf of the station and the company. I wanted
to thank him, and you came and Lisa came. Yeah,
and that was nice. I was glad we did it.
It was I take it back. I apologize, said, I'm
fine with you.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah, well, he's coming back next year, so we don't
want to ruffle the feathers.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
And how about Billy and Lisa Morning Show live while
you're here for Gillette.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
That would be huge.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
That's how we can make it up to us. Yeah,
come on by the station. We'll buy your lunch, we'll
buy your dinner. We'll take you out to dinner with
anything you want.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, I don't think that he likes to do things
like that outside of the show. He always does pop ups.
He did the Box Center, yeah, when he was here. Yeah,
that's what I love about Ed. You know, he'll do
these big stadium shows, but he'll also do the small ones.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
So we don't have to do a big press thing.
We're not going to have any press. If you're coming
by the Billion This Morning show, we're not telling you.
You're just doing the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. And
then we'll take you out to a nice dinner, right right. Oh, Lisa,
don have been good to see you. I just promised
Ed shearon you and I would take him out to
dinner when he comes back in September.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Would you like that? Okay? Well, he started Lisa by
starting to trash Ed.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I just wanted Ed. He's a good friend of the station.
I've interviewed him several times.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
I wanted him.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
To know that I love him so much that I
was very disappointed that he didn't get to do the
interview with us.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
A jingle ball.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yeah, I think disappointed is a good word.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
He may or may not have called Ed Sharon a
hideous ginger in the past. What are you doing? It
was years ago. I can pull the audio, but I.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Won't still lash us out and then forget.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yes, No, what it is is that he's the entertainment guy,
and you know how the cycles go, the new cycle,
there'll be a new celebrity every day, there's a new
story and he has to report on.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
And you know what, we have an edge contrary to
what some people listening every morning believe it right, we
haven't ed stand by it. Okay, Yeah, a little shout
out to the trol there, troll, you know who you are, troll.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
I don't listen. Listen. I did a whole podcast yesterday
by myself, Yeah, airing them all out. Oh you did
on a crazy rancho about people. That's right, like nasty stuff.
You know which one hurt me the deepest, Lisa, you
can feel this. Someone made fun of my sneakers at
jingle Ball. What they go? Who wears white sneakers? This
isn't nineteen eighty, Get it together, justin.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
The white sneaker is the most popular sneaker on the planet,
right now. Yeah, and at least two of the artists
are wearing what do they call them? Air Force one?
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Air Force ones? Though these were supreme, these were kind
of high end sneakers. I had gotten them a while back.
I won them in a raffle, never wore them. I
wore them for the first time.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
So some creepy troll had to make a negative comment
about your sneak sneakers.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
That one hurt my soul.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
What's the troll wearing?
Speaker 1 (04:59):
I don't know. Well, that's the point I made yesterday,
is like, let's look in these people's closets.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah right.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
You know everyone's so quick to like throw judgment out. Yeah,
I think it's okay to just flip flops. You just
write whatever you want. There's no repercussions.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Now you're getting me going, see, it's not my fault.
Least he works me up.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
It's not me. I didn't bring anything up.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Well, how can somebody think about this? We all agree,
how magical a night jingle ball is, right and always is.
We were looking at you and me and justin Lisa
to the crowd. At one point while Ed Sharon was performing.
We were on stage looking out and my mind was
blown by how magical it was, and yet someone can
think of something negative just say, shame on you, Yeah,
(05:40):
big shame.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Well, the TD Garden was full and was filled with
just people who really wanted.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
To be there.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
So yeah, you know it was very coo. Well, I
like Zara Larson a lot.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
She was great. What you're going to Sayrea Freya as
a guy's amazing.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
She's like she's sixteen, an ever ready battery.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
She never never heard of her before. Yes, she's like.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Such a class act, so mature for her age, beautiful, talented, bubbly, warm, nice.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah, we loved her.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Before the interview, Justin says, by the way, she has
billions of streams, and I say, oh god, billions of streams.
She said, not really.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
I said, like I said that, Lisa, you wrote it
had millions. No, this is what he does.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
It was written as billions, Lisa, did you catch that
when I was talking?
Speaker 1 (06:28):
But you added that he has a numbers thing. It's
like a fetish Oh yeah, with numbers. He he inflates
all numbers to make it sound big.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Well, it was a compliment billions millions. Who cares?
Speaker 1 (06:40):
She didn't care. She didn't care. Yeah, all the interviews
I thought went really great. Yeah, you know, even even
someone like Molly who only has you know, she's one
big song, one viral song, but she was a good
interview and from Ghana.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
From Ghana, Yeah, we talked about Africa off Mike.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
And you mentioned Sean Paul was on one of the remixes,
and you were like, oh, hopefully you'll see it. She
went to his dressing room and they were hanging out.
I saw some pictures on her social media.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Yeah, I get do I get you get credit. You
put those two together.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Could get credit.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Okay, So if they come out with something together, I
want to cut.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Okay. I don't think you're gonna get a cut. You're
you're not gonna get a cut. Nothing. No, no, thank you,
no nothing, thank you at least jingle Ball. Any final
recap on that you had.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
A great time, Yeah, I mean again, like it's it's
my like most favorite event of the year, just because
we get to get dressed up and then we get
to see all of our listeners and they come out
big time and it's such a feel good event. I
for me, it was Olivia Dean. I actually got to
see her perform. I was standing in the crowd and
(07:44):
I got to feel everyone saying man, I need together.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
That for me was a highlight. And then just being
backstage with you guys.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Yeah, and you know, Olivia Dean was so nice backstage.
But at one point I said, so, man I need
is there one? She didn't answer?
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Now, No, supposedly she dated Harry Styles.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
What well did you know you were you there for
the interview or you were okay? Okay? Her people walked
out before she came in and said, Olivia is super
cool down to the interview. No relationship questions. Oh yeah,
broke that, you know?
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yeah? Because then I said, no, You're so easy to
fall in love, is it?
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah? But she had a good answer to you.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
She answered that one.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Yeah, she said, yeah, I am, I'm easy to fall
in love with. Here you go. How about Harry?
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Was she easy to fall in love with?
Speaker 1 (08:35):
I mean, and she is kind of Harry Styles.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Type, totally his type?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Right?
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Yeah, Lisa, I thought of you because you were out
I think, visiting clients all over the you were all
over the garden. But when Raven Leney came in, she
had changed from the outfit she wore on stage and
the one she wore backstage. I said, I have to
ask this for Lisa, done of him because she's our fashionista.
(09:02):
Uh and she if she were standing here, she would
ask you who were you wearing it was?
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Was it Tory Birch?
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Tory Birch.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
That's interesting. I haven't heard.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Anyone beautiful outfit the jacket. You should look it up.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
Whoa, there's a Tory Birch store.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yeah, have to.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Look it up.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Raven had the hair going crazy.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Yeah, that is one beautiful hair. Yeah yeah, yeah, you
think it was hers?
Speaker 1 (09:27):
I don't know. Do you some extensions? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
I can never tell extensions.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
I can't Yeah, but I can't tell you.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Have you ever noticed something like when I say something
offhanded or slightly crazy, Lisa has the tendency to just
back away from.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Did you just say that? That's funny? This one? So
we're gonna have the awards on Friday. Friday morning, We're
gonna have some of the best of the year.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Now you have awards for us on the show.
Speaker 1 (10:02):

Speaker 3 (10:21):

Speaker 2 (10:25):

Speaker 1 (10:26):

Speaker 2 (10:29):

cases of ninety plus sellers wine in the boss's office.
We can crack a case when she's out here.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Yeah, we can have a talkback challenge. Yeah, you know,
like they have to add lib talkback.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
All right, I'm gonna at work on it because we
