Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, here we go. Hi, everybody After Show podcast, justin Whinnie.
Let's get right into this, Winnie. I thought it was
funny how on the show This Morning? Yeah, you you know,
your your spider bite issue got brought up and you
had I don't think you realized that you never talked
about it on the regular show. We talked about it
on the after.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Show, which is our you know, our family.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, no, it happens. You know, we
do so many things. But I thought it was funny
and you started like you just casually started talking about it.
I'm like, whoa, Winnie. They don't know what you're talking
about unless you're an after show arm.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Remember I just assume everyone's an after show I remember.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Which they should be. They should be. Yeah. Yeah, we
do this every single day after the show. If you're new,
if you're just joining us, it's the after show. It's
kind of like unregulated. We can say what we want,
We kind of recap the show or just talk about
things in our life, and you can always join the
after show. If you're listening on the iHeart app, you
can listen to this podcast a lot of places, but

(00:56):
on the iHeart app you can leave a talk back,
so if you're listening on your phone and just had
tapped that little microphone by, and then you can ask
a question anything that you want to know. So, yeah,
when he's got the spider bite issue going on, do
we think it's shingles?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I've had I had one listener reach out to me
when I posted on Instagram saying the same thing, and
my mom looked at it, and my aunt when he
just had shingles recently, like a couple months ago, and
she was like, well, Auntie had more mirrored and there
was more spots, so she was I'm not sure if
it step.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I don't think it would be that.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
But then like my boyfriend was looking online and it
kind of does look like certain shingle marks. I really
don't know. I mean, I have no idea, but I've
gotten multiple opinions and I've heard bites, right, So I
literally don't know. When I tell you, I shocked that
this is a fourth day on antbiotics and there's been
no change.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I'm just surprised that the doctors wouldn't know it was shingles.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Right, That's what but I've heard it was saying they
get mixed diagnosed at first because it looks so similar
and they present like with cellulais, which is basically like
where like everything you describe I described, you know, the
pain and the swelling and.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Like cellulitis on like the like on your butt.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Yeah, they can get it anyway.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
It's just when your cells react to like a certain thing. No, no, no,
that's some that's like, no, it's not it's not.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Oh my god, what the is it called?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Oh my god, what is it called?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Cellulitis?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
No?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
No, oh, cellulitis is a bacterial skin what's that called?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
It's going to drive me thing?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Yeah, cellulus No, I mean look at that. Hold on,
hold on, hold on, hold hold on. It's called oh cellulate.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Cell you yes, cellulate cellulites when you have like markings
on your Yeah, I love that. Yes, that comes with
normally people have like larger framed or you know, have
extra love to give. Yeah, No, it's not that.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
So hold I don't know if I get in trouble
for this, but I'm going to say it anyway. So
my wife has a little bit a little bit but
she's trying to get rid of She's like very like
focused on it, and I go, why I like it.
I put my mouth on it and I lick the cellulite. Yeah, okay,
I like it. You know why. It's natural, you know,

(03:14):
and it's a part of her. I just want to
put that out there.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Go ahead, Yes, okay, I got an image I didn't need.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
But anyways, Yeah, I don't know what's going on. I
have been trying to do. I feel like I've tried
to do everything that was told.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
To me to do.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I sit tile and all Ben Anddreau clear it in
during the day, Ben and Dreul At night. I've woken
up the last two nights in a row like legit
and pain. Yesterday last night, I woke up crying. I
think my boyfriend was like, he's so sweet. He like,
got up, got me ice, got my talent and all that,
and he said, don't be afraid to wake me up.
And I was like, no, I know. I just feel
bad because I can't. I mean, you have to not

(03:49):
be able to sleep. But yeah, it's been like one
of the more painful things I've gone through, and I
feel and I think I feel guilty, like bitching since
my dad just had major surgery yesterday. I see you
and I'm like he just went through, you know, months
of cancer treatment, and like, I'm like, oh, my face hurts.
So I almost have like a guilt about not feeling

(04:09):
good right now.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Oh, you're not a martyr. You know. Pain is pain. Yeah,
you know. Yeah, it's different obviously than your dad, but
it still sucks.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah, especially on your face. I think my mom's worried.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
It's on my face, which is narrow like your brain,
and you're like, you know a lot of things you
need to function.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
So she was like, I'm more worried of where it's located.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah, but where did the spider bite come from?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
I don't know. Oh, that just hurt.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
But don't put your hand on it, you know.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I was itchy my ear it hurts.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Is it itchy too?

Speaker 2 (04:35):
A little bit? But not like terribly.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
It's just so, who said spider bite? The doctor?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Did they say bug bite?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
And then Michelle Billy's wife does biomagnetics, which I think
people know what that is. She looked at it with
her magnets. If you believe in the more of a
holistic approach. She also said the pathogensers a bite an animal,
like a bug bite, a spider bite, whatever. So I've got,
and then a babysit fors an r N. She looked
at it and she said the same thing. So I
got three separate opinions. But now I'm going to go

(05:04):
to my actual doctor because maybe it just needs a
stronger antibiotic. And then I've heard steroids. I've heard you
can get an iv antibiotic that will help. I might
have to go to the hospital and do that. But
like the fact that there's been no change in four days.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Crazy, it's a little concerning that the antibiotics didn't knock
it out. I feel like the antibiotics knock out everything exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
That's where I'm concerned.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
I mean, you could call Peter ask you what he thinks.
It's Peter, Peter Parker's Peter. Oh, first I thought you like,
all right, well you're off to the doctors today. That's good. Yeah,
my recovery event went well last night, and Ima stay sober.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Did you do yoga?

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I didn't do yoga, but I spoke in front of
a yoga class. Would for the people. It was only
fifteen minutes.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Oh, that's good.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I thought it was gonna be longer.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Well, you want they wanted to keep you at fifteen.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, yeah, because they were on a schedule of workout
classes in yoga. Yeah, the thing that they say to
wrap you, they didn't wrap me because I'm very very
like on it with the time. But your so you're using,
I don't like to go over.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
So it was check your watch, Like, how did you know?

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I had my phone kind of near me and I
just would like check it. I didn't go over, I
went under. I think I spoke for thirteen minutes. It's
just tough because the longer that I am in recovery,
the longer my story is. And so like I could
speak for an hour and tell my whole story, right, yeah, so, which.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Is good because sometimes you can lean buy a lot
of the fucked up shit. Yeah, and just placed that
and say look at I'm on the other side.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yeah yeah, I mean I did share that. You know.
Speaking on Boston City Hall Plaza was crazy because I
used to run around those streets. That's where I ran
around in my addiction. But I really focused on the
exercise part and how it's much it's helped me in
my recovery.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
And was it a fundraiser or no, it was it
was an event with all vendors, but people that are
in recovery.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Anybody that wanted to come could come. So there were
people walking by and they had all different kind of
recovery centers, like Power of Recovery there, like talking to people,
giving out stuff they had like health stuff, and then
they yoga cl is and workout classes. It was pretty cool. Yeah,
you know, I'm into all that stuff. I just started
doing yoga.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I know you're liking it, loving it.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yeah, I do it on Sundays. Have you done yoga?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah, heated yoga? Okay, Yeah, And so I told the
story about me doing yoga now, and so I go
on Sunday mornings. It's heated and it's hard and I
have a hard time keeping up, but I'm getting better.
And so the joke is, it's like it's like eighteen
women and me and maybe one dude. Right, and so
those women of all ages, and there's beautiful women in there,

(07:29):
and they're wearing yoga pants obviously, okay, and your sports bras.
So I'm in there and what happens is depending on
where I am to the teacher or the is it
the yogi, the instructor? Yeah? Is that what they're called
I barely the instructor, so the instructors up there, depending
on where I'm sitting. Sometimes I have a hard time
seeing the instructor, so as they're you know, teaching the

(07:51):
next move, I have a hard time looking at at
at her or him. So I have to follow along
with the other people. So I'm gawking at them, but
you don't mean to. But I'm not looking at their
bodies in a sexual way. I'm just trying to follow along.
But a couple of times, especially with like the really
hot ones, I'm like doing them. I'm trying to do
the post and I'm like staring at the girl, like

(08:13):
looking at what she's doing, and she just like looks
at me, and I'm like, girl, you're very beautiful, but no, no,
but she's just right near me. But in my head
I'm thinking and thinking in my head like I'm a guy,
I look at women right, But in my head, I'm thinking,
I don't care how good your ass looks. I don't care.
I need to know what that.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Is like sitting near an old lady.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah. Well, the thing is, it gets depending on what
time I get there. Yeah, yeah, it gets busy. So
I'll be in yoga this Sunday.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
But hopefully no one thinks you're being creepy.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah, and if they do, that's okay, all right, when
he go to the doctor, let us know tomorrow or
whatever the update on that, right, And hopefully the puffy
face doesn't explode, and hopefully if it's a spider by it,
they didn't lay eggs.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Okay, that's awful thought. That's ok thank you for that.
Good luck, all right,
