Speaker 1 (00:00):
My god, for a short week. I sure am tired.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Yeah, I'm.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
We do not We don't have to swear one of
those things. You know, when Howard Stern left terrestrial radio
and went to serious obviously back then he was a
shock jock, and one of the big things was, oh
he could swear now on satellite radio. But he said,
just because I can do it doesn't mean that I'm
gonna do it. So just because we can swear, it
doesn't mean we have to start off with a swear.
(00:26):
You know what I mean? When he yes, okay, when
he has a headache, she's not really involved. So we'll
just make this very quick. Yeah are you okay? Okay,
you can talk into the microphone. There you go, professional broadcast.
Oh my god, this is like, come on, we'll trying
to keep the people going. Give him something good, tell
(00:49):
me something anyway, it's been a short week, and uh,
you know, there's been a lot going on. Jingle Ball
Jackpot's been going on. We've been having some fun on
the show, and you know, we do the after show afterwards,
we do and to kind of like recap stuff and
maybe what we're doing for the weekend. I don't have
any plans, you know, something cool for addiction though, which
I love to hear.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Mike's five K. We do it every year my family.
I think this is the last one. They were saying,
my cousin Tommy.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Why are they ending it?
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I think his family just was doing it for a
little while to keep his memory lab Bay. It's his
family that runs it. I don't know they raised. They
raised over five hundred thousand dollars. That's that's twenty seventeen.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Okay, I don't know. Maybe you could step up and
take over. I don't know, Mike, I thought, you know
it's your cousin. Well, my cousin's name is Tommy. Tommy
passed away. Oh, Mike's five K Tommy. Wait a minute,
my cousin Tommy passed away from a drug overdose, right,
so this is some guy.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
So Mike's a different guy named Mike passed away of
one two and his family memorial.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
And then because your cousin did.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Our family does to raise money for abuse, say yes,
So it's in Milton.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
It actually works so kind of weird.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
So it was it's like one uncle son, but my
other uncle happens to live like on the route of
the five K, so then he has a brunch at
his house for everybody after because it's at like ten am.
It's a it's a three mile walk, so you're done
at like eleven, and then.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
You just go at my other uncle's house to they
have food. Yeah, that's cool. So it's always good when
food is involved. We love food.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
But my cousin Tara is coming in because it was
her brother that passed away, the one I if that
worked for Nike that I met in Vegas recently.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
So she her birthday was a few weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
So I'm gonna hang out go out there for dinner
when I don't make those plans with her. Okay, but yeah,
so that's that's pretty much. It's gonna be nice speaking.
I want to maybe she did from fall.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Shit, this is a good weekend to do apple picking, Tompkins,
I'm busy, Patches.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yeah, I'm going to ask Katrina what she wants to do.
And I never call her that.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Okay, Well, now she's Katrina.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
No excuse me, it's Katrina when I'm mad at her?
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Oh are you mad at her? No? No, I'm not mad.
Why did you say Katrina?
Speaker 2 (02:54):
No? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
I just like said it just say cage, That's what
I would say. Can I have her I recommend a recommendation?
What Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
By the way, she snapped back at somebody that was
one of those people that was like, oh god, yes,
she always fights, but she never does that. She's so
anti like she's the opposite of me. Okay, she never
says anything.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Oh so she must have been upset.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah, if you remember that post I died of like
I called everybody out.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
She added to one of the people. Oh, I was like,
oh my god, we'll have to check that out. Recommendation
for apple picking. It's a little bit of a drive,
but Cider Hill Farm and Amesbury amazing, amazing. It's up
like near Newberry Port, but amazing donuts and it's up
ninety five. Take a ride. It's beautiful. You can go
to Newberry Port Amesbury. It's great. They have rides. Oh yeah,
(03:43):
they have you know, you can pick your apples, pumpkins.
It's really cool. Cider Hill. Gotta check that out. I'm
just saying before we go, I want to give a
rest in peace. My friend Dave, his mom passed away.
She's older, she was in her late eighties. By the reason,
I bring it up. You know. Obviously she passed and tragic.
You know, she got sick. But his parents both are
(04:05):
I believe eighty seven eighty eight, okay, and he's older,
Dave's like sixty.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Oh he's one of your recovery friends.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
It doesn't matter, but yes, And so he was taking
care of both of his parents, you know, because that
happens in life, right. They take care of us when
we're younger. When they get older, sometimes they need help. Okay,
So he was taking care of them. The dad had
a fall and had to go to assisted living, so
he was there. He was with the mom. Then the
mom got sick recently and had to go to assisted
(04:34):
living and went into the same room as her husband.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
It's funny Cage has shorts at a nursing home. She
has three couples at sherifan.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, it's very common. So he was so happy a
couple of months ago when she joined him, and so
they spent you know, her last days together. But unfortunately,
she got really sick recently and she passed away, and
so her wake is today, so you know, we'll go
and say goodbye. But just you know, I was when
and he left to go. I said to him, is
she upset? And he's like, of course they were married
(05:04):
for like seventy years or something something crazy. But it's
just a nice story. Obviously not to death part, but
the fact they got to spend some time together. It's
very notebookie it is.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
You know. That's another thing. I gotta watch that this weekend.
Kj's never seen it.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Well that's crazy, and I'm like, we need to see it.
I can't wish she doesn't seen that.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Wow, you figure something out.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Have a good cry together, bro, My head.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Hurts so bad. I don't care about crying. Maybe crying
will help. I'm not even upset. My head hurts so bad.
Liam died.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
There's aspirin in walking over there. Okay, this is a miserable.
