After Show is on. It's Justin Winnie back from vacation.

not really. We really needed the break in the vacation
and we got some good rest and we had some fun.
But we're back to work and back with all of you.

Welcome back, Glad you're back. I've been listening to the
After Show podcast Justin Mini and it's good. But I
will say I now know way too much about Fred's
love life that I did not need to know about.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, well that's covered extensively on this podcast. We did
what you mean? Oh, I mean, of course, Well what
I was gonna say is now things are all good,
so there's no like juice there anymore. But going back
to when he's previous love life, she had some bumps
in the road, which we covered on the After Show,
which I'm assuming he's rehearded.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Oh, that's probably what he meant. I was confused to get.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Probably what I mean I'm sure some people may have
gotten win that you were going to start talking about
your last relationship a little bit and kind of explaining
what happened, and you did. Yeah, so maybe that's what
happened with him.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Yeah, maybe I did my best to touch upon it
and not focus on it too much.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
But it's all good. Now you got the clothe man
do Yeah, the clover with a boyfriend. He's doing good, right, Yeah,
he's great. Yeah, they was. He was getting rave reviews
on the boat in town. Yes, because he was on
the boat he met Michelle and Billy and he said
he's a wonderful guy, super nice, quiet. And I thought
to myself, I know he's a nice guy, but I thought,
I mean, the first time you meet people, you're not
your true self.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah, it takes a little while, you know, a few
meetings to really come out. Not that he's this like
fucking crazy person.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, but they said he was super nice. Seems like
a really nice guy.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah, it's funny you say that.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I know is yesterday we went to my parents asker
my sister's birthday, and that's about the fourth.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Or fifth time he's hung out with my family.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
And I this time, I felt like a real difference
in like the camaraderie maybe like they were more like chatty,
you know.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
What I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
And he was like he was more like he was comfortable,
felt more included maybe than like trying to like get
his way, like you know what I mean. Like it
was more like natural, you know. So, yeah, it definitely
takes a couple of times.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Well that's what's great about your real friends, right, your
true friends, they know who you are. You can be
yourself around them, because in some way, we're all chameleons
when we meet different people, especially new people, you know,
we want them to like us. We want to make
a good first impression, and so you know, it takes
a little while to make it a make a thing.
But anyway, welcome, welcome everybody to the after show. I
don't know what we missed, but we had a great vacation.

I'm not sure what when he did besides go to
the Jonas Brothers. I don't know what. What'd you do?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Honestly, I did I binge watched that show. I was
telling you about Sullivin's Crossing, which you would never watch.
I don't know why I'm watching it. And then the
first weekend of vacation, my uncle had a big cookout.
We went to that, like just a lot of you know,
sleeping in yeah, and hung with the dog.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yeah. Hung My niece has hung out with them a
little bit.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
But yeah, it's about it nice if it works. So
I like he like, he came like, we would do
some at night, but I was like chilling.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
My wife watched The Hunting Wives. Yes, I didn't watch
it with her because she had already started it.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Did she finished it?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah? She liked it. Yeah, you know, sleazy. Yeah, but
she loves trash TV. That's all she watches. Like at night.
Sometimes I'll go to bede, we'll put the kids to bed,
and then we'll go to bed or whatever, and then
she'd be like, you know what, I'm gonna stay up
and watch the trash TV. Yeah, you know you want
to hear a good story. Yeah, So I have the chickens,
talked a lot about them. I had this guy, a

(03:29):
friend of mine, come over to look at something. He's
doing some work at my house. So he comes over,
looks at it and then he says, you have chickens
back there, show them the chicken coop. He's like Wow,
I love fresh eggs. Do you have any? I said, yeah,
actually I do. So I go inside and I asked
her grandmother Nana where they are, and she said, there's
a carton in the garage fridge. Check there, Go there,

(03:50):
there they are. There's two eggs in the cart and
so I'm like, hmm, I can go in the house
and see if there's more. But maybe the chickens laid
some eggs. So I'm like, come on, let's go. We
go back to the coop. I unlatched the thing, open it.
There's like five fresh eggs in there.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Oh nice.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I'm like, dude, what's fresher than this?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
But they only one a day?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Right, one a day? But now they're pretty much all
laying eggs. Yeah, I think it's six five or six now,
but soon seven a day. So I load up his
carton I give them to him. He's happier than anything.
He goes on his merry way. Some hours later, Jen
comes home and uh, I'm in the pool with Gemma,
and I hear her like laughing hysterically, like uncontrollably laughing,

(04:32):
and I'm like, what the hell is She starts screaming
my name. She's like did you give the eggs away?
I'm like, yeah, to the fucking electrician, my friend, they
were all fake. They're fake eggs that she puts in
there to encourage the chickens to lay eggs in that spot.

(04:52):
It's part of the training of the eggs. Okay, So
I gave him fucking fake eggs. I texted him right
away and he's like, oh, they were in my fridge.
So then he opens it up and he's like, oh
my god, he's a wood.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
You didn't notice when you put them in the box.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
I didn't notice because I was talking to him and
the other Sad thing is they were numbered, and I
didn't notice.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
The question for you, are you guys naming it freshly
laid or oh she got the stickers? I thought it
was a really cute name. What's it again?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Just laid freshly aid?

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I don't just laid or something.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
It's not like we're not calling it a name. I
don't think.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Oh, I'm like, that's a good name for an agg company.
Just laid, just got laid.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
And then she has other ones coming today that say
butt nugget.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Oh, I like the other one, but little gross.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Yeah, but yeah, she has the car and she has
she now has a swing up there. She's in henopause.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah that's what Okay, that's.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
What it is, you know. But yeah, my vacation was good. Yeah,
we did the Peetown. We talked a lot about that.
I just I just want to say about Pete Town.
Have you been? Oh, you've been.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yeah, I went true summer to got my cousin and
his husband have a house like wealth Fleet.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Which twenty It was a bit shocking to me. So
much gayer than a Gunquit. Now, Gunquit's like another that
we like, and it's like a lot of gay people there.
But Petown. I don't know if it was just because
it was Carnival week, but it was like insane. Yeah,
but I had a great time. It was such like
a happy.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Place, well to save space for like you know, the community.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, and you know, it's not like the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties,
when you know, people were shamed for that. Yeah, but
it was nice to be in a place where everyone's
just who they are, right, happy. Everyone was so nice,
but like literally everybody's game.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Well, you know what's funny is I feel like the
way people treated people that were gay during the sixties, seventies, eighties,
is why places like Petown exists.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
But isn't it messed up that they put them on
the furthest tip of Massachusetts?

Speaker 4 (06:51):
But maybe they picked it themselves maybe, And it's beautiful
down there.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, no, it's beautiful, beautiful, But it's just I had
that thought, you.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Know, No, I think it I think it was they.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
I think it was the gays choosing their own place
to be, you know, like I mean, it was it's
it was safe and it was beautiful, and you know,
I just became the gay place.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
So yeah, I know it's really nice down there.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
There obviously are straight people that live there, families really yeah,
we actually have a talkbacker that they're a full time
family that's straight.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Right.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
My cousin and his husband own a wealthy which is
like twenty minutes away, and so as you get closer,
there's probably more, you know, gay couples, but when we
went down there, there was plenty. There was plenty of
non you know, I guess you would just call them
allies that, you know, because obviously you can't live down
there and be ignorant because there's just so much of
it that's you know, there's so much culture.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Do you want to know about dick Doc? Yere?

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Did you go saw it?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Saw the the pedal bikes? Yeah, that take you around,
They kind of give you a tour. And so we
were driving. Yeah, the boy Toy petty Caps were these
two Bulgarian younger like gay kids, super nice. They would
have drug just the summer. Work seven days a week,
ten am to three.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
As they probably kill it, kill it. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah. So he's driving us down the street. It's dark
out and he slows down in between these two buildings
and points towards the beach and it looks like an
alleyway that goes down to the beach. You can't really
see it there. And he goes, don't go in there,
and and he goes and go what's that? He goes,
that's dig Doc, and Jen goes TikTok and he goes, no,

(08:18):
dick Doc. And then it clicked in my head and
I'm like, is that the under the docks thing?

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:23):
And yeah it's a real place. It even has a
Facebook profile to check in. People check in are there? Yeah?
So you it's a place at nighttime that turns into
kind of like a cruising area where you can go
down there and whatever happens. He pay people up sexual stuff.
But I was looking into a little bit more. There's
a documentary on YouTube about it. It's more of a
place of love and like it's not there's no rests there,

(08:47):
there's no controversy. It's really just a place to meet
other guys and hook up, really, is what it was.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
The thing about gay men versus I think women.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I want to know if it's what Jen said, guy.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
There're way more animalistic than we are, so their sexual
exchange a lot of the times, and my gay guys
listening might agree. Well, you know, I have gay friends,
and I feel like it's way more transactional, you know,
like they don't ask names, they don't care where you're from,
they don't care what your name is, they don't care

(09:18):
what you do. You're just both getting off or one
of you get gets off. Like it's literally doesn't It's
not with a heterosexual couple or like a lesbian couple,
where there's way more emotional connection, maybe sought after, whereas
with game and there's a lot of open marriages and
open relationships with gay men because they have, you know,
more sexual desires and it's it doesn't have to be

(09:39):
as emotionally connecting for them. So I think that's why
something like dick doc is you know, well received.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Jen said something kind of similar, but she made a
really good point about the dick doc because you know,
not an issue but a big thing in any relationship.
But I'll talk about my own. Is the difference in say,
sex drive between men and women. I typically men have
a higher sex drive. Men can have sex every single day,
and women like having sex too, but you know, women

(10:07):
can usually go longer without having to fucking get off,
you know what I mean. And so she said that
she goes, Yeah, that makes sense because think about how
much honey, our guys are than girls, right, and to
double the testosterone. So that was dick doc. And then
the hotel we stayed at was very boutique. It was
called a Wall Beautiful. It was one row night. Uh,

(10:30):
this is expensive. Well how much do you think, like, what's.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
A little more eight hundred? Yeah? It makes I mean
because they clean, I mean that's all they do.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
And it was Carnival week. Yeah, but it was very
like upscale redone and the shower had no door. I
guess that's a new thing now.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I've seen that half a window, half a door.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
But then the water, you know, spills out, but it
has a drain, but still make a shower. I get dressed,
I sit down, say thirty minutes later, I go in
to brush my teeth, I'm standing on a puddle, you know.
I didn't like. Yeah, but the bed was cool. The
bed when he was low to the ground, it was
on like a boy.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
It wasn't you know why, Oh it's easier for I
think that's why and bother people.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
When we checked in and sat down on the bed,
Jen looked at me and goes, how much gay sex
has been happing?

Speaker 3 (11:25):
So much?

Speaker 1 (11:26):
How many butt plugs? Oh god, it's true. But we
had a great time. And you know what, it was
a great time for my wife and I in our marriage,
getting away from the kids, spending some time together, some
massages and some alone time which were very nice. And
the food was good too, so that's good. Was supposed
to go to New York, had to reschedule some issues

(11:46):
with my friend. He couldn't go, and when we go alone,
I wasn't gonna go alone because I wanted to go
with him. It was something that we were going to do.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
What did you tell any cow got with the name Eddie.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Well, no, it actually worked out fifty calm my Instagram
got and I worked out because he had a family
thing already scheduled and he was gonna he was gonna
leave early and meet us, and it just made it
so much easier. Good. But he's coming back in September
another neutrient mails event, so I'll be there. Anything else
that sticks out during my vacation. No, we came back

(12:17):
on Tuesday because of the storms. We were coming back
on Tuesday on the Peetown Ferry, but the ocean.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
I know, you got a free ride.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
I know, yeah, because I was texting Michelle and she
was like, oh, we're coming back yeah today, And actually
Justin and Jenner.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Come up with because we're coming back early.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah Thursday. Yeah, yeah, you know. But it was good.
Titus was great. He was humping Gen but me, he
was loved up on me the whole time. Yeah, it
was really great. It was really great. That's a big
boat man. I had the thought to him, like, no one, now,
he's can't take this thing off.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Yeah, it's a lot of work, fucking.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Huge, I'm telling you. I have I have new found
respect from Billy recently. It's TV show that's a lot
of work. Like he leaves here and goes and drives
around and like has to wait for cameras to get
set up and then host the show after hosting this
show and then the boat. Yeah, there's a lot of work,
a lot and it's just him and Michelle too. Yeah
it was it was nice, but we're back and uh

(13:09):
this is the kids go back to school this week
and then it's Labor Day yep. And isn't it crazy
about today's show with the talkbacks with the teachers? A
couple of years ago, our boss said that to us.
He's like, they try to make a point to let
people know to listen to the podcast. And he's like,
you know, so many teachers go on summer vacation and
they stop listening. I got a ton of talk back.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
I know you only played a couple of the first
day back. Yeah, that's crazy, guys. Just listen to the podcast.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Yeah, the vacations, the schedule, I get the greating on
the podcast.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
You can listen to something we did a month ago today.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Yeah, you know, yeah, and it's it's short, not sure,
but it's an hour and an hour and a half.
No commercial. Well, this commercials on the app if you
do the pay version, Yeah, there's no commercials, but you
know it's it's condensed. You can listen to it. So
for any teacher out there that takes a summer off
from us, what are you doing? You know, uh, you're
going to take me?

I don't know.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
Oh really, I don't know what I'm doing. So jonahs
con you know with Saturday, I'm still tired. I don't
know I'll people perform a night Because we were on
Fade for like three hours entertaining the crowd. I was
losing my voice, like I was liked by the further
strove and started.

So I don't know. I want to do Chris Brown tonight,
but I don't think I'm.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Going to go that Monday.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
And I know, I was saying, I'm like a Monday.
I love Chris Brown, you know I do, but I
don't know if I want to go. I have a
week to go to today. So I was like, that's
a lot.

I have no idea what I'm doing. This is a
busy week for me.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
So my boyfriend's birthdays on Wednesday, and then I have
a wedding on Saturday, and I just have a lot
going on.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Oh, speaking of that, I have a talk back that
I was going to use for a topic time sometime.
It has to do with kind of with that.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Hi, guys, I'm hoping you can help me with something.
I just started dating a guy about a month ago
and I really like him and it's going really well.
And he has a birthday coming up in just felidays
and I don't know what to do.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Should I get him something? Do I get a card?
Please help?

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Thanks? When you've been longer than a month with Clover, Yeah, well,
I will say when we started, we first started hanging
out around Christmas time, so I actually did get him
a Christmas present.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
I just promised about shirt.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
OK, like something that was thoughtful, not expensive, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
He loved it.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
He actually he wears it all the time. He still
like I washed it the other day. He left it
at my house. So I think something small like not
don't spend a lot of money, maybe forty thirty, forty bucks,
I don't really know, just a totally just like something sweet,
or you go to dinner.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Don't go overboard, no, don't go overboard.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Something little, just to like, look that you're considerate, but like,
like my boyfriend, he's very anti birthday.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
So I'm struggling because witness, No.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
He just doesn't he's not for the hoop log like
he when I tell you, we're very opposite, Like he
doesn't care about most things.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Doesn't like you care about your birthday?

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Yeah that's the thing. Oh your birthday. Yeah, let's go out.
I'll get you presents, whatever, But no, don't worry about
my birthday.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Like it's just he could be just saying that.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
No, no, trust me, I've been with him. What am
I getting him?

Speaker 4 (15:59):
I got him cologne, he's a big Colonne guy channel.
I got on a gift card to like a store
he likes. I got him And I'm like, is that enough?
And then I wanted to go to dinner and he's
like can we just stay in? And I was like,
you don't want to go out for dinner? He was like,
I mean, I guess we can't. Like he doesn't like
he doesn't want you singing hypberth at him.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Like we met. My sister's birthday was yesterday.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
We went over for it was on Saturday, so we
went yesterday for her birthday and my sister goes, oh,
we should have sing hyper birth to you too, and
he's like, no, no, no, Like he just doesn't like
being the center attention. He also, I also think it's
upbringing his like parents aren't really like birthday people. They're
not really like gift givers. I just think it's not
something he's used to, you know what I mean. But

when it comes to me, he's very generous. He just
doesn't feel he really feels like it's not like he
doesn't need to be celebrated.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
You know what, you can celebrate in other ways.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Oh, we do that every day.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Yeah no, oh my god, he would break up with
me if I did that. But yeah no, I definitely
think give him a little something just to show them
that you like him.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely that's a good I think we
should use that for the show.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Yeah, I think it's fine. I don't know, but yeah,
so I don't know what I'm doing. But Jonas Khn
was amazing. It was absolutely insane. We had the best
show Jojo Jesse McCartney fucking Dashboard Professional, which if you
are EMO in the early two thousands, that's for you.
Boys like Girls Opened Tonight, remember them I don't want
to ever hear that again, Okay, and then Wally and

then Kevin Jonas singing that, Billy Costaye and Glenn Powell.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
That was crazy. What a fucking day, what a night.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
I want to know how that comes together.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
They said they're friends. Yeah, I mean, they're all in Hollywood.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
But it just worked out. I think because he was
he's here, Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
He knew some songs. He was singing along. I saw him,
I was watching him. I was right next to him.
I was watching him, So it was it was amazing.
Of course, Kiss and the Jonas brothers collabed around Jonas
Kahn crazy.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
It looked insane.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
It was insane.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
It looked great, did it didn't. I'm not a huge
Jonas brother's man. I like them, yeah a lot, but
they definitely they just have a connection with the fans.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Yeah, and they always say Boston is a special to them,
and I really I always believe that when someone's like
when you say, because we're from here, so we know
it's a special place. But the way they treated the
Famway show showed that.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
They went all out, like choosing Boston to debut the song.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
You could have gone he could have done it in
New York. He could have gone, like you know they did.
They're from New Jersey. They played two shows, but like
between Philly and but no, they picked Boston. Good point
and it was amazing. He sounded really good. Yeah, like
I have the whole performance if you want to listen
to you don't. But it was really he was really.

Really I heard the audio and saw the video too,
And what did you say? He sounds good?

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Yeah you're saying that.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Nope, sounds good. Okay, book Club Thursday? You're going to that?
I thought, well, we had to all go, Oh we
do I don't know?

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Oh, okay, I guess I'm going. Well, I was gonna go.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
You know, Jimmy Falley from SNL, who's my cousin's boyfriend.
He and some of the SNL writers are do show
at Laft Boston.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
If you guys are interested.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
In going, he's not coming in.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
She want him to want me to want to book
him for Thursday?

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Is he still gonna be on? Is he still on SNL?

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Yeah? Truly, he just did that. He just finished the
movie with Adam Saylor. Adam Sanlor brought his movie.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, why wouldn't you will come in.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
All right, I'll text him right now. Well, I don't
want to, like, I know, he's my family, so I
don't want to know he's good.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
He's they're announce in the new cast this week.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Well he already told he already told me. I know
who's not kind of coming back?

Speaker 4 (19:23):
I know, but but no, he literally Adam stand that
bought his movie and they just they just wrapped it
and it will be on Netflix in the fall.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
See in it. He wrote the movie, wrote the movie.
Oh yeah, book him for Thursday. Okay, even commit at eight?
