Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, friends, let's go. Let's get this party rockin. It
is the after Show. I'm justin. Welcome to a Wednesday.
The show just ended and I'm here. I'm ready to
entertain you as best I can. I do have a
guest in the studio who you know, wh I'll introduce
in a second. But I just want to say shout
out to all you guys leaving talkbacks and joining the
after show. I appreciate it so much. If you've never

(00:21):
left a talk back before, you can always do it.
You can record it in your phone, you can redo it,
you can listen back to it. You don't have to
just hit send. So you have any questions or comments,
you can always hit it up on the iHeart app.
Just search Billion Lisa in the morning the after show
and hit the microphone button while you're listening, and you
can comment on anything. And maybe I'll play it, maybe

(00:42):
I won't. It just depends on the day, really, but
all right, let's get to it. Riley producer Riley is here.
Thank you for joining. Riley, God forbid you take time
out of your busy schedule, because the last three times
I've asked you to come on, you've said no, what, uh.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Well, that's yeah, I'm a busy person. Sorry.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
I know you are responsible for a lot, including the
podcast of the show, yes, the regular show, and when
that doesn't go up in a timely manner, people get upset,
which is flattering to us because they want to listen,
but it's annoying when it doesn't go up in time
and they start dming and messaging. By the way, do
they message you about that?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Never, No, only me?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I mean this goes back to there's been several people
over the years who have had that position of podcasting
and they always DM me, and I always tell them
DM whoever the person is you or Winnie, whoever it was.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I think you're just more fun to yell at. They
don't want to yell at like the young girl who
does it. They're like, I'll go yell at justin, where's
the podcast?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
You do? Sound very sweet? I will. I will admit that.
So you've been so I want to get to a
couple of things with you. You're big, Well, your time off,
the little bit of time off yead a couple of days, okay,
and then also we have a new phone screener that's
filling in, that's starting, and she's going to help out
all the radio stations including us. Yeah, and she's been

(01:58):
shadowing you. How's that been going. Okay good?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, she's really nice.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Okay, Yeah, her name is Katie. I'll get her on eventually,
we'll introduce you to her. She's got an interesting story
about how she got here. But she's going to be
like a utility person, helping out, answering the phones and
doing all types of stuff. So she's learning what Riley
does because Riley, like me, wears like ten hats.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, I love a hat.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
You're like a protege. You're like a justin protege. Yeah,
you just learn everything.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
That was like the entire point.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Right right, Yeah, because I actually talked about this on
the podcast yesterday. It was just me. It's not fool
proof plan, but I feel like it's harder to get
rid of you if you do so many things. Oh absolutely, yeah,
because think about it. If you only do one thing,
then they're like, well, you know, we can get somebody
else to do that or just eliminate that position. But
if you do all these different things, you got to

(02:47):
find somebody to learn all those things, and we know
they're not going to hire a bunch of people to
do those things well.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
And most people would say I can do all of
that for more.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Money or for more money, yeah exactly, which is what
they don't want to hear generally, not not just any company.
I should know. Yeah, yeah, you know it's it's not easy.
It's not easy. So okay, so that's going good. You
have a little shadow every morning.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
It's weird because like this is how you felt with me,
probably yeah, because I'd be like, Hi, I'm willing to
learn anything, but no, she's like, hey, let me learn stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I'm like what, Yes, The biggest question I have is
is she willing to learn? Like eager to learn and
being receptive of your teaching.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Seems like it?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, okay, good.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I mean I haven't like taught her that much because
she They were like, oh, you're just going to like
shadow for this first week, and then I was like, okay,
answer the phone and be alone by Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
It's not a hard job, you know, but yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Well.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
The funny thing is I'll talk to her about this
when I have her on. But she's not from here.
She lives here, but she's not from here, she's from
another state. She'll talk about that, so she doesn't know
any of the town names. Yeah, so on the on
the call screener thing like, someone will say I'm calling
from Peabody, yeah, and she writes it as pe Verdi. Yeah,
because she's just trying to spell it out, you know,
in her head. So that's pretty funny. But okay, because

(04:05):
that's all I care about when it comes to training
is that they're interested and they're willing and they take
it seriously.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
That's what I care about. And that's why I liked
you is because tens No like like, well I'm talking
about when you first started sitting with me, is you
were eager to learn, and you would ask questions and
then you would apply what I taught you to what
you were doing.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
That's important.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
And you taught me a lot.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yeah, I really did. And I really like the fact
that we got to a point where during the show,
before the show, I can say, hey, Riley, do this,
and you just do it. Yeah. I know.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I'm pretty good at following instruction.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, no, you just do. I don't have to worry
about it. Yeah, you know, and you know, we all
make mistakes at some point, different things. It happens all
the time, so shout out to you.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I think the most impressive thing is that it got
to a point where you trusted me and you didn't
check double check my work. That was like the second
that you stopped feeling like you had to double check everything,
which like still I mean you still do obviously, but
like there because there has been times like that time
that I pulled something from color Daddy and Jam and
used it first and I left.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
And oh word the F word.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
By accident, and I was like, oh, good thing that
like they played it first and not us. Yeah, but
like I mean, that's like a one off. But like
for the most part, like you you really nailed everything
into my brain that you felt like you needed.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
So yeah, double checking things is like one of the
biggest things for me. Triple checking. I mean, there was
something today I almost played that I pulled for Billy
and I checked it last minute and it was wrong
and I was able to fix it. They go, so,
but yeah, I remember that day with the F word
because they'll use my audio because we all have the
same system. So if I poll stuff that they want

(05:47):
to use, they'll look and they'll use it, which is
fine because they're my friends. But they texted me screaming,
what the fuck is wrong with you? We just played
the F word on the air.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Actually, I texted Ashley and apologize. I was like, hey,
I'm so sorry because that was right after what happened
with Winnie. So I was doing multiple jobs and I
was still trying to help you in the morning and
be like, no, no, I can grab it. I don't
worry about it because you you're also doing a million
things in the morning. And then I was like, my bad.

(06:19):
I just like forgot, like I wasn't thinking you.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Just move on. You say sorry if you know, if
you're willing to.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
She was like, oh no, it's totally fine. Actually, like yeah,
she kills at you, but not at me.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Again. It again.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
It goes back to anybody wants to yell.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
At me, and I feel like and I feel like
I'm the scarier looking one than you. Well, of course, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Guess I'm like a little docs and next to your pitbull.
Nobody wants to yell at me.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah. Well, it's like it's like, what the the group
thing today we talked about for topic time? M hm,
you know, Hillary Duff's husband posting that thing, which was
petty where he you know, propped his face onto the thing. Whatever.
My point was that I understood why he was doing it.
I didn't necessarily agree with what he did. But you know,

(07:07):
someone that you love, and that's not just my wife,
it's anybody that I care about. I'm very protective of
people that I love. You know, I don't like bullies.
Like I was the kid in school that would stand
up for the kids that were getting bullied. I did
not like that at all, you know, I just feel
that protective thing. So I understood that, and I didn't
want it to get misconstrued at misconstrued as I would

(07:29):
fucking crop my face onto someone. Yeah, I understood that
and post that. Yeah you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Also, like you're not going to post stuff online either,
like you're like never, like we're not we're also not celebrities,
so like I mean.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
I'm deist please, yeah, sorry, you're like E list, I dalist.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
I'm like on no list, No, you're on a list.
But like sorry, okay, sorry, mister famous, thank you list,
mister dalist. But like it's it's different then being like,
oh I'm married to Hillary Duff and like, I have
millions possibly of followers. I don't know her follower account,
but like, and I want to stick up to her publicly. Like,

(08:10):
for the most part, none of the stuff that we
say is going to be picked up by TMZ unless
we like really do something cool. Yeah, like, if you
posted something about your wife, people aren't. It's not gonna
make national headlines or as they obviously will, so it
is different. But like, obviously, behind the scenes, if you
needed to stick up for your wife, like to somebody's face,

(08:31):
you will absolutely do.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
That every single time, one hundred percent of the time.
But also you know, I don't. I would never post
things like that. I don't post things like that on
social media. That's a rule that I have. I don't
respond to people. I don't do any of that stuff.
I just try to keep it positive. And you know,
if somebody says something I don't like or whatever or offensive,
even though I'd like to respond and just don't, I

(08:53):
don't feed into it. I'll just block them and move
on because in the in the I ever tell you
the dark board thing, tell you this, Okay, So when
I first got clean, everything goes back to it it's
like ridiculous, I know, but it's my life. That's me.
When I first got clean, I was having all these
issues with people, like other people that were in recovery
that were newly cleans as well, and I was caught

(09:13):
up in all this drama and people were getting me mad.
And I would call my guy, like my mentor, and
I would complain to him. And one day he goes
to me, Listen, I'm gonna tell you something. He said.
You ever hear this the comparison to a dart board
when it comes to your life. I'm like, I have
no fucking clue what you're saying. He goes, think about
your life as a dart board. He goes, in the
middle is the bullseye, right, and that's the most points.

(09:35):
You get the most points if you get in that
little little circle, right, He goes, So in that little
circle that you get the most points. That's like you
and your higher power, or you and you know God
essentially or whatever it is, right, that's that's like the
most important thing you know. And then right outside of
there still a lot of points. That's your family, that's
your close friends. They could be in the little circle too,

(09:57):
But as you go further out, what happens, what happens around.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
It's less people, it's less points. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Right, So these people that you're fighting with, you have
to ask yourself where on the dark board are they?
And I'm like, well, they're on the outside because I
really don't care that much. He said, So why are
you putting so much attention and worrying and too points
that don't matter?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
That is actually really good advice. That's like, because I
worry about like little things like like I'll say something
like on air or whatever and be like, oh, like
I stumbled over my words. At the end of the day,
nobody gives a shit, nobody cares. Like that's on the
outside of the board.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
It's on the outside. It's not a lot of points.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
It's not a lot of points.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
No, but the stuff on the on the inside that
really counts for something that has meaning in your life,
that's what you want to focus on, you know. So
that was an interesting thing. So that's why I try
not to engage with people. And also fighting with people
on the internet is you know, you're never gonna win,
you know what I mean, You're never gonna win that
bad it's going to keep on going on and off.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Yeah, you might have like a little bit of like
satisfaction the second and you hit post on something, but
at the end of the day, like you know.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Yeah, and I just like social media because I like
posting my kids. I like seeing other people's lives that
I care about in their kids. I like that stuff,
you know, That's that's where I'm at. And then obviously
like entertainment news, that's that's what I'm on there for.
All the other stuff can kick rocks. So Riley, while
we were off on vacation, you were here. You did

(11:31):
get some time off, but you would hear two days
of each week, right holding everything down.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Two days and then three days.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Oh, you had to do the Friday.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
I did come in on Friday, okay, because you.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Had to do the traffic in the weather.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Well, originally McKay was like, you can have it off,
but then I was like, well, I need to podcast.
And also truthfully, on Tuesday, I was really lazy and
I had to voice track already for one of the
two day I forget Wednesday or Thursday, I think it
was Thursday, And I didn't also want to voice track
my Saturday. So it's like I'll just work Friday and
voice track my Saturday on Friday.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah, I mean, I mean it'd be nice to have
all that those days off, but also you can command
get paid for it.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah, you know so, and I got two days off
like already, so I was just like, I'll just come
in on that Friday.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Yeah, think about how far you've come. You do the
morning show, you do all that stuff, but now you
do the five am, the pre show and the Saturday show,
which I used to do. But then you're also voice tracking,
which means like you know, you're on the air, but
like on the weekends that spoiler alert, most times they
aren't live most times, you know, it's just the way
it is. But sometimes sometimes they are. Yet. But yeah,

(12:35):
so you do that as well. So you had to
voicetrack and do your show. Yeah, do your show.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
I had to do my show.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Think about that. That's really cool. Okay, thank you. So
outside of the working, how is your holiday? How is
your New Year's? Did you do anything?

Speaker 2 (12:49):
It was good? Crazy, No, it was genuinely nice to
have time off. I know that you said that we're
going to talk about this tomorrow. We were just talking
about this before we turn the mics on. But the
show Heated Rivalry. The last two episodes came out while
we were over break the way that that show took
over my life in a good way. A couple last

(13:11):
time I was on your after show podcast, I said
that I have always been a fangirl through and through
my entire life. I become obsessed with things really easily,
and I don't let them go. That has become this.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Okay. So you were the first one to tell me
about this show. It was I think it was on
the way to jingle Ball that you started talking about it.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
That was after two episodes.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah, all I remember it was. It had to do
with hockey players and a gay like relationship. It was
a woman and two guys basically, right, No, just two guys,
Just two guys, hockey players, Okay. Yeah. And then I
was listening to Howard Stern the other day and he
was talking like extensively about how crazy the show is.
And so that's why I said to you today, I'm like,

(13:50):
we should talk about this, I should watch it. So
what is it on?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Okay? So a little background. It is based off a
book by Rachel Reid. It's called Heated Rivalry is the
first book of the series. No, no, no, it's based
off of a book, not a true story, made up,
but it's about two players in what is the NHL,
but it's not called the NHL in the show because
of copyright and stuff. So they're two professional hockey players

(14:16):
that are rivals. They were drafted in the same year,
they're the same age, and they're like the best hockey
players in this universe, like we know that by far,
they're the only two that can come close to each other.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
What's Tate mccray's alleged boyfriend's name, Jack Hughes. So it's
like a Jack Hughes to compare them to a real.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Player, he's not the best player in the NHL, but
he's Yeah, I wouldn't compare.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
We'll hit the road Jack, Okay, two best players in
the NHL that that played for the same team or
a different team.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Different teams. So they play in Boston and in Montreal,
which is an actual rivalry that in the NHL. They're
like Boston and Montreal are the biggest rivals, like for
us whatever, it does matter anyways, and they start hooking
up and then it's it spans over eight years.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
But they're straight men. No, no, they're not justin no no, no.
What I'm saying is they were they were going into
it growing up. They were gay.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
So one of them is there's two main characters, Shane
and Ilya. Ilia is Russian and he knew he was
by he had hooked up with women and with men,
but they met when they were eighteen. So Shane, our
other main character, doesn't know that he's gay.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Okay, that's my point, yes, okay.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
And they do a very good job in the show
of like communicating this. The book is really good because
obviously we get their like internal thoughts. It doesn't matter. Sorry,
I'm this is becoming too much of a thing anyways,
So they start hooking up, and then it spans over
this time where they are texting, they're hooking up, they're texting,
they're like like seeking each other out in these like

(15:52):
different ways, and then it becomes like obviously, it's like, okay,
it's been like eight years, I actually am in love
with you, like but it so cushion. So it's it's
a heated rivalry. The rivalry becomes heated, and these two
actors were completely unknown actors. They'd been in like a
couple things, but like nothing big, and they this show

(16:14):
was just supposed to be like a Canadian show, like
a small thing. They filmed it with no budget. They
filmed it in two months, the entire show, and there
was like no big name casting, no nothing. And a
week before the first episode was supposed to air, HBO
Max was like, I got to get in on this
and they were fucking right. So HBO Max is streaming

(16:36):
it for Americans, but it's created by this Canadian company
called Crave. I will say, if you are going to
go into it and watch it, it is very sexy.
The sex scenes are graphic. You don't see anything obviously,
but like it. It's not like leaving much to the imagination.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
How many a six six EPs?

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Six episodes?

Speaker 1 (17:02):
How along the episodes they now forty?

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Okay, okay, the last episode is one of the highest
rated episodes on IMDb ever.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Really yeah, I listen. I had How It's Done on
Sirius and he was going on and on about this
show and I was listening to it and I'm like,
I know this.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
How do I know this?

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I'm like, someone told me about this, and I realized,
who's the biggest hockey fan. I know that's you. So
that yeah, you told me about it, so okay, we
should mention this tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
And one of the actors is going to be on
Fallon all right.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
There you go, Yeah, that'd be perfect. Which one the
Russian one the other one?

Speaker 2 (17:35):
But they're like all over like the they're doing like
press right now. The other one his name's Connor. He's
going to be on what is that guy's name, Seth
He's going to be next week. Okay, so they are
doing like big press.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
So we have show. We have to get Billy to
watch the show.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
He won't. I'll text him and tell although he did
he watched the lesbian show.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
You know what I'm going to do. I'm gonna call
him and because he you know, he's a busy guy,
but when he gets home he doesn't have small kids
or anything, so he watches a lot of TV and movies.
I'll tell him, hey, you gotta watch the show. It's
really good, not tell him what it's about.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
I don't know if this is a show that like
he could watch in front of Michelle, like she seems
like very like social. I feel like she'd be like, no.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
We're not so One of the things Howard was talking
about and other people on his staff is that the
reason why Howard watched it is because his wife and
another person on the staff's wife were watching it and
didn't want them to watch with them. Okay, that's funny,
So yeah, they wanted to watch it alone, and that's
why he was intrigued by it.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
I know couples that have watched it, and I watched
it with my sister, Like that's just stuff, doesn't matter
to me. But like me and my friend Kelly, who
we work for the Bruins together, have been telling every
like everybody, We're like, you, guys have to watch the show.
It's called He's Robbery. Like guys that we work with,
like this guy that I work with, Josh. I was like, Josh,

(18:57):
you have to watch this new show he did Rivalry,
and he was like, okay, We're like I felt like
we were like you know the people that come and
knock on your door and they're like, have you heard
about Jesus Christ? That's why I felt them like have
you heard about he did Rivalry? That was me?

Speaker 1 (19:09):
That was you in my car on way jingle Ball.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
It was like the only thing I care about is
he did Rivalry by the way, and you were like.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Okay, yeah, but I'll watch it. I don't I don't
care about the it's really I don't care.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
The fact that they had no budget and it's it's
shot extremely well, like you're gonna be like, wow, this
is actually like really good. In the last two episodes
are like really really high rated, and there's so in
the love stories.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Oh okay, okay, all right, well, well your dream will
come true tomorrow. I'll make sure to watch it. And
if Billy doesn't watch it, then we'll have you break
it down because we'll play some of him on Foul
and tonight. Yes, talking about.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
It, and I won't go on for as long as
I just do.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
It's okay, it's the podcast. You can do whatever you want, Okay.
So besides he the Rivalry, anything else? You hung out
with your girlfriends?

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yeah, one of my friends who lives in Nashville came
was in Massachusetts and we all went to Portland Together's
three of us just hung out for the.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Day, okay, chilling out. No no recent dates or anything, no, no, okay,
you know what, It's okay, You're just focusing on you.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
The biggest issue is that I'm lazy. I hate dating
apps because I'm lazy.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
You mean you you don't want to be like active
by I don't.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Want to like talk to people like I. I what
I want. My dream scenario, besides like marrying a hockey player,
is is somebody that I know sets me up with
the perfect man, right, Like I want somebody to be
like I have this friend and he's like perfect for
you that way, I'm just like, okay, perfect, like you've
already vetted him and he exists. I don't want to
be talking to these random men online where it's like, hey,

(20:40):
what's up, and I'm like, oh, hi, how are you
and They're like what you're doing? You suck? Like I
hate you already.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
But but but but if you go on a date
with a guy and maybe this could be something there,
you're not lazy and that that.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Part Oh yeah, no, not really. But also like everybody
that like everybody lives in Boston and then what I
have to commune to the city.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Yeah, it's not bad. Though it's only thirty minutes, thirty
five minutes. It's really not that bad. I know it'll happen.
I'm trying to think a way you can meet hockey players.
So you want to be like a professional hockey player
or just I mean that's the dream.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah, so funny. Sean Crowley if you're listening, he plays
for the Bruins. Love you sewn carally, but he there
was a picture that got posted on the NHL Instagram
account on their story and two people send this to
me back to back.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
They were like, look at your now, now what about
if they're like good looking or decent looking, but they're
missing teeth?

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Oh that doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
So you date missing like the front chicklets.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Okay, I mean that's like unfortunately part of their job. Yeah,
Like if I was missing my front teeth, people would
be like what right, Like you know that's normal.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Okay, okay, all right, well listen, if anybody knows any
hockey players that are single and that are willing to date,
producer Riley, you know, hit us up and let us know.
Hit us up. Okay, thank you for joining today anytime.
Thanks for having me, so I'll see you again on
the Appter show. Like in when July you think, well.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
If anything happened, oh it also, Season two of Heated
Robbery has been announced. Oh there's going to be another
be another season.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Did it end on a cliffhanger?

Speaker 2 (22:13):
No, they actually tied it up pretty neatly in a bow.
But it ends up like it ends very true to
the book. And then there is a sequel book for them,
and it's like the fifth book in the series. So
the second season is going to take place with that.
I'm assuming want.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
A hair of random quick story. When I was a teenager,
I had a feud with another.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Kid, and not a heated robe for me.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
It was not that kind of heated rye. It was
heated though, like he was doing things to my house.
It was a whole big war that I had. And
one of the things that he did was he put
a v a VHS. Do you know what that is?

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Of course?

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Okay, a VHS tape in my mailbox. They just dropped
it in, right, So what is this the porn? Yeah?
I told you this, yeh. So if you don't know, yeah,
I my dad found it and then he's like, what
is this It's a random tape, nothing on it. So
he put it in the VCI that we had, and
it was a gay porn that was like a prank
type thing. And I remember coming home and he's like,
what is this? Why is this in my mailbox? My package? Yeah,

(23:11):
so I remember like watching like he put it on
and I'm like, what the hell is this?

Speaker 2 (23:15):
How they're doing that?

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Oh god, yeah, listen, that's finally listen. I'm all live
and let live right.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Wait, Sorry, another story real quick. I'll make it quick
this time. So McCabe also watched the show and I
went to him and or I posted something on my
story and he was like, hey, I saw that you
watch Heat a Rivalry. It's not that good. I was like,
first of all, shut up. Second all what It's like
the best show I've seen in a while, and it
doesn't really matter. But I was like, all these edits,
like people make really good like fan edits to this show.

(23:42):
It's all over my everything. Yeah, I have been reposting
them on my TikTok and I was like, Kaye, look
at all these edits that I've reposted. And he's like,
you're a psycho and you're crazy. And then the next
day he's like I started getting edits. You're right there?

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Really?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Oh yeah, Like see, you just have to listen to me.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
He's a negative Nancy though. He's the best guy, but
he's a hater.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
He's sping on that Haterary.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yeah. It's like I'll be like, you like this song,
now I don't like it. I'll give you. I'll give
you one example.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
A great example of an example too.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Oh okay, I won if it's the same one. Okay,
go ahead, I remember the day.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Okay, yeah, it's gonna be the same.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
We were in a meeting and they go, oh, oh
my god, there's a there's a surprise lady guy guy
in Bruno Mars song dropping tomorrow, and so then we're
like wow, and it's like oh man, and then Kaid goes, yeah,
I heard it.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
It's not good.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
It's actually terrible. Like we'll just play it that one
time in the premiere and never play it again. Ended
up being like the number three song of the fucking
year and die with a smile, Die with a smile.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Now.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Well, he said the exact same thing about the Taylor
Swift album. I know he hated it on like the
whole thing, but he was like, opa Light is the
worst song ever. I feel like I'm in a Macy's.
We're playing it now and it's great. And he's come
around on it. He has like he's like, yeah, it's fine, now,
I don't mind it.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Yeah, he was explaining himself on this podcast. I didn't.
I don't understand it at all. He's like, we wanted
the true pop album.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
It was.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
It was a pop album, it was.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
And it was a Max Martin production, and like, what
are you talking?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Yeah, I'm gonna get him in here again too talk
about it.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
He was here yesterday.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
He didn't come on the podcast.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
I tried to get him. I don't know what it is.
Everyone's so busy, you know. I don't mind doing the
podcast myself because I'll just yap about whatever. But it's
not nice to have people too, like Billy and Lisa. Lisa,
she's tough to get too because she's so busy, just
like everybody's busy.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Everybody's busy.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Everyone's doing the job of six people.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah, but I make time for you. That's the difference.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Thank you. So I'll remember yesterday. I'll remember that the
next time I asked you to come on. So anyway,
thank you, Riley anytime. Have a great rest of your day.
Be careful driving home too, it's rough.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Well, I'm going to Billy's freaking boat.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Oh yeah, you're going to help Bill, so you gotta
help him record audio? Right? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
I need to actually talk to Tony about that.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
It's so funny. Right. So, so the boat show is
today and Billy's doing his appearance he does every year,
but this year he wants to record some audio for
his food show or meet Boston or something. So he's
with Riley and I. He goes, Riley, you know, I'll
pay you some money to come. So then the next
so this is yesterday, we're hitting the hair talking. They're
talking about it, and he goes, now, Riley, I only

(26:05):
need you for like an hour, but I'll be there
for three hours, but you can come for the other
two hours, no problem. And I go hold up. I
go now, I'm like, I'm Riley's agent. Yeah, if she
comes for the whole three hours, does that mean more
money or is the same amount either way?

Speaker 2 (26:20):
And he's looking at me like, you're gonna let him
do this moment you're speaking to my age.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
That's right, baby, that's what you gotta say. Yeah, I'll come,
But I'm just wondering, even though you'd probably go for
the same or not, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
He just looks. I couldn't say no. He looked, He's like, hey,
can you please? Yeah, you do so much for me.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yeah yeah, you help, you help build out. So anyway,
thank you Riley, everybody else. Tomorrow we will talk and
I don't know what's gonna happen. But you know what,
every day you turn on the podcast, the After Show,
you don't know what's gonna happen. It's surprised every single
day's life. Yeah, it could just be me talking about
bullshit and telling stupid stories. There could be someone like Riley, so.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
They also saying bullshit stupid stories sometimes.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
But that's what we do. We yap and talk. So
leave me a talk back and we will talk. Mananna right,
