Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, welcome into a Thursday, everybody, Quick, Quick Quick
podcast today because there's a lot going on.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Billy is headed for Africa. It's go time.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Sorry, I hate when I do that. You say a
word and it triggers a song in my head.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Okay, but this is your problem. This is okay. I've
been saying this about Winnie.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
I love Winnie, but one of her one of her problems,
probably the most glaring, is I've explained this before, I'm
explaining again for new listeners. Okay, when I got when
I got clean from drugs and alcohol, Okay, they taught
you about one of the most important things, was you
thinking about the pause between the thought and the action

(00:41):
and how that relates to recovery. Is it's an obsessive
compulsive disease. Right, So what that means is you have
a thought you want to get high, and you want
to act on it, and you do. So you have
to learn to give a little bit of a pause
and think before you act.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Right.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
They call it playing the tape through, So my tape's broken.
Hold you try We'll get to that.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
We'll get to that.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
So you are trying to not get high, try not
to drink whatever. You're trying to stay clean one day
at a time, and then you have the thought comes in, right,
the disease of addiction comes in and says, go get
a drink, go get a drug. So instead of acting
on it, you pause and you play the tape through.
You think, if I do that, what's gonna happen. I'm
going to ruin my life. I'm gonna get arrested. I'm

(01:25):
gonna do that. I don't want to do that, And
then you give it a little bit of time during that pause,
and then you get through it and the obsession goes away. Okay,
Winnie doesn't have a working part of her brain to
do that. There's no pause, But there's no pause. I'm
not going to hurt anyone by singing no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
It's not about you heard it.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
But it's even when you speak, even when you speak
to people, you're infamous for just saying what you want.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
And that's a good quality to have.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Buttimes it's not that good.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Sometimes it's not that good because you would benefit from
a pause.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Sometimes.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
You know what's the sad part is sometimes I do
and it still comes out.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
That's you know what, that's a problem.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Billy and Lisa in the Morning present, a behind the
scenes look into Boston's favorite morning show.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
That's a little too much information, said guys go the
after show podcast who appears Justin and Winning.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, So when you get that thought, you know, a
word sparks you wanted wanted to sing? Just stop for
a minute and think should I do it?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
But what if people like my singing?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I mean, bring that person to me?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
You know, my girlfriend tells me I sing good.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Oh my god. I like kJ but I like her
a little bit less now.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I think she's just being nice. One time we were
so high.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
I was singing adel and she's like, oh my god, babe,
you like hit that note?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Is she? She was high? She was fucking on edibles.
There's no way anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah, quick one today because yeah, Bill's headed for Africa.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
But the Kiss Club?

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Can I talk about it?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
It's a secret.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
I want to talk about it because I don't like
that we keep it on a hush hush. I think
this is a great opportunity starting at eleven, which is
in what like a half hour forty five minutes from now,
Starting at eleven, if you are part of the Kiss Club,
which I know a lot of people are. You can
get tickets and you get the Kiss code. If you
don't have it, you can dm us.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
We'll just give it to you.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Because it's just people dm me every year for it.
We don't send it out.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Hey, you send it out via email, but I think
people their emails change or whatever. If you're a part
of the Kiss Club, just email me, I mean dm us,
we'll give it to you. And it's for the next
twenty four hours until tomorrow morning, and you can get
tickets while they have They have allotment, so they a
lot some for the pre sale, they a lot some
for this general sale, for the Kiss VIP general sale,
and then the regular on sale. Yes, so this is

(03:40):
a great opportunity because not all people know about it
to get in and get some tickets.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
It really is, and it's our way to give to
give you know, our our top listeners.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, a chance at jingle.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
We really don't. We don't really say anything about it.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
We don't promote it. We don't promote it. Yeah, because yeah,
we promote the Capital one. Obviously they're a sponsor. So
there's a lot lot of tickets there and then you
know it's not as many in the VIP.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
But there's a good amount.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
No, I mean there's enough that if you get in
the next two out, I mean the next hour or two,
you should have no.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Problem getting again.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
So what time eleven?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
I believe it's.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
At eleven till tomorrow morning at eleven or ten because
it's an't all on sale is at noon tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Well yeah, yeah, so it's a good thing. I do.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
I do think that batch will also sell out because
this batch went so quick and there was way more
for the pre sale allotted than for this little sale.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
But just try, you might as well try.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yeah, And I know I get dms every year on
this about the code. Yeah, so if there's any issues,
you can DM myself or winning.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Yes, we we'll give it to you.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
We'll give it to you.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
But yeah, we got to jump in meetings for jingle Ball.
It's it's meeting day, It's ball day. Tomorrow is a
general on sale. So we're gonna go to this meeting, okay,
and they're gonna say, guys, we gotta sell this thing out.
We got we gotta listen to it and be like yeah, yeah, yeah,
But in the back of our minds we're like Sin's
gonna sell out yet.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
What are we doing?

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Because if you think about the artists, twenty one pilots
could sell the garden. They have many times it's a
great sold out Exfinity, which is actually more people than
the gardens.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Times it's sold out and they had to open up
more seats.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Yeah, because because if you think about it, with the
grass and stuff, they actually because the way the garden
is set up with like the staging and stuff, it
actually depending on the show, you could have less tickets
there because of what they hit the block off, right,
and then Kate mccre Tate McCree, Tate McCrae just said
two nights sold out at Mgmfemway, which are the five
thousand things, that's ten thousand people like these people can

(05:28):
do it.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Kid Larroy right.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
I mean he's huge, huge most time I's in Kesha
throwback Artists yep. And then Kat's eye for our cap
Poppers they are you know what I found interesting about
them justin they're not all from.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Korea no, yeah, and they were put together right supergroup?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Yeah yeah, supergroup.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
So yeah, that's another thing about these about jingle Balls, Right,
it's all the biggest artists and artists that are up
and coming as well the brand new artists.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
And that's a good example of that. So eleven am for.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Kiss Club members and then tomorrow, don't forget twelve o'clock
the general on sale, and it's our first day without
Uncle Bill. Yeah, but you know what, he'll be gone.
He'll have the trip of a lifetime. But he'll be
checking in yep, every day.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Not tomorrow though.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Yeah, it will be flying. He's flying all the day
he will.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Tomorrow's a travel day.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
There are fights like early in the morning, yeah, and
then it's like a fourteen hour day.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
So so Monday we'll talk to him.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
But anyway, the big Friday show will be going down tomorrow,
Dringleball ticket seven ten and E ten.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
We'll see you then.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Bye.
