Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, here we go. It is the after Show podcast.
We have a verdict in the Diddy trial.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Crazy, let's put this on a row in the gallery.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I don't know Whenny they said the jury's coming into
the courtroom right now.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
That means they'll read it in the next what ten minutes?

Speaker 1 (00:13):
I don't know. I think, So what should we do?
Should we just keep it down low or just yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Because I'm watching too. So the issue is it's not
at the federal court case, so.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
There's there's no cameras camera. Yeah, okay, we'll keep it
down and we'll keep the TV on while we do it.
So what do we think.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
They're walking now? His family's walking into the courtroom.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Honestly, I was unsure. I'm thinking guilty. I'm thinking guilty now.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I really don't know because I want to see guilty
because we saw the shitt he was doing, right, We
saw it, We heard it.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Also, you have to think that, you know, they they
found a verdict on four of the.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Five nowdays, delibertying Friday.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Or Monday, Monday, right Monday, I want to say Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Monday or maybe Friday afternoon.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
I forget, Wow, they for longer to deliberate, Karen Reid.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
But the serious charge is the when they want to
decide it all which so that's the reco chot. If
he gets found guilty on that one, he's done. But
you know, if he gets found guilty on the other ones,
what you do serious times much alone discharge.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
He can be young guilty on and like only do
like a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I think there's one, a ten year one.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
That's the lowest thing.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Had five.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
So if he gets guilty for anything, he's in there
for the next ten years.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Probably.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah, Well, it depends on what the trial. That's a minimum,
that's the thing. It's a minimum sentence, so he could
get more. There are two charges that carry a minimum
fifteen year sentence.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
And he's fifty five. So if he hits fifteen twenty yeah,
twenty five.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
You also have to factor in like appeals. You know,
he goes to prison, there's appeals, he could get out,
you know.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, but even with the appeals to still be in jail.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
He'll be in jail. Yeah, yeah, he'll be in jail.
But there are people that get out. You never think
we'll get out.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Let's see what's going on you as we are now
hearing from the judge inside the courtroom.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
Oh look here, So the jury Kira had to fill
out this form which lists the charges proven not proven,
the predicate crimes, and whether Shawn Combs is not guilty
or guilty. On count one, the racketeering conspiracy charge, Shawn
Combs has been.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Found not guilty.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Wow, not guilty.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
Racketeering conspiracy perhaps the most complicated charge for the jury
to understand. The count one had provided for a number
of predicate acts. But the jury does not have to
get into that because they have found Sean Combs not
guilty of leading a criminal enterprise not guilty see racketeering conspiracy.

(02:40):
They will now move to the other four counts, two
of them on sex trafficking and on trip and we
have not guilty now on WOW two, which was sex
trafficking of Cassandra vent Shawn Combs has been wow, not
guilty of sex trafficking. When it comes to his former
girlfriend Cassie Ventura, there was a real debate that the

(03:03):
jury heard over the course of the last two months
about consent and coercion and the complications of deciding when
an eleven year relationship between Combs and Cassie Ventura may
have become a criminal one and the jury decided it
was not criminal sex trafficking when Shawn Combs committed what
his boundary man freely admitted was domestic abuse as you saw,

(03:27):
not guilty at all. He has been found not guilty
now on racketeering conspiracy, not guilty on sex trafficking of
Cassie Ventura. He has been found guilty on count three
transportation for the persons for the transportation for the purposes
of prostitution. He has also been found guilty of count
five transportation for the purposes of prostitution. These charges carry

(03:52):
a maximum penalty of up to ten years in prison,
so we do have a split verdict. Shawn Combs has
been found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy, not guilty of
sex trafficking Cassandra Ventura, but he has been found guilty
on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution,
and we're waiting for one more count, the sex trafficking

(04:13):
of Jane And just now the jury has decided that
Shawn Combs is not guilty.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
His former girlfriends who testified under.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
The suit Jane A.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Jury has now believed that the relationships that Shawn Cobs
had with his former girlfriends Cassie Ventura and a woman
who testified under the suit Wow, we're not criminal, did
not involve sex trafficking.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
So that's a max charge when he doesn't mean he'll
get ten years, he could get two years. Wow, that's crazy.
See I listen, I know what did they prove? That's
the thing. They prove that he is a fucking monster, okay,
in a devious sexual freak. But did they prove the
criminal part? I don't.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
I was not confident that you what any saying the
conversation Shawn Combs guilty of transportation for the purposes of prostitution,
not guilty of racketeering, conspiracy, not guilty of sex trafficking.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Kira, all right, let's.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Put this in perspective.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Now that we know where Shawn Combs has been found
guilty and non guilty, let's put into perspective Brian on
time he will serve what are we looking at now
with regard to years. Of course, we should point out
there will be an appeal.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
He's got plenty of money to do that.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
But let's take it from where it stands.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
Right now, Kira, I'm still trying to wrap my mind
around this. I'm not even sure if I would say
there would be an appeal, because for Shawn Combs and
his defense.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Team, this is a massive win.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
It's a huge Three of the counts that had a
life sentence possibility are gone. When it comes to transportation
to engage in prostitution, the minimum is nothing. There's a
theoretical possibility that he walks out on probation.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Now, oh my god, it happened. No, but the max
is ten years.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
Even if you were to take both sentences and he's
not gonna get ten years, They're gonna look at his
criminal history, mitigating circumstances, aggravating circumstances, and I would assume
that he gets somewhere in the middle ground, maybe like
three to five years, three to six years possible through
that sentence and range for each count. Sean Comb's going
to trial where he was facing life and being able

(06:28):
to walk out with something under ten years, well under
ten years.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Possibly, that is a victory. Will he appeal, Sure.

Speaker 7 (06:35):
That's his right to do so, But I don't see
an appeal here. I think you take this as a win.
You serve a few years that you may get and
you'd be happy I didn't get lost.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
So imagine this. Imagine what he gets out.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Is he going to be out and about it like party?

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Just yes, he is just just partying it up. I
got to post on crazy Crazy career. Wow. Man, imagine
he's sitting in in that fucking Brooklyn prison, the worst
prison ever, thinking he's gonna spend the rest of his
life in prison, and now he's.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Gonna get out and make him feel like he is
im untouchable.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah, especially he gets probation. You hear that he could
get probation because he has no way, no way, I
mean he said that's unlikely. But he definitely won't get
ten years. He'll definitely do a couple of years. But
how long has he been in a year?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Year?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Right, so it's a year off. So if he gets
a three year sentence, he's out in two, meaning he's
out in about a one a little over one. Wow,
that's crazy. All right, Well that's what you got today.
You got the Diddy Verdict reveal. So when he's gonna
go post on Instagram, is this one of your little
head pops up? The little update? All right? Well, Kiss
went away billion, least in the morning or in Winning's
world to see that. Well, we'll talk to you tomorrow

(07:46):
as we say goodbye for vacation.
