Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh, man, guess who's bad? Oh yeah, twenty five and
here we are a brand new year.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
This sounds like good jump for me.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
So everybody, just I see in twenty twenty five, we're
still singing.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Oh that's not going away, bab Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Anyway, welcome in everybody, first after show podcast of the
New Year. We do apologize we did not.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Kind of we said we would, we didn't.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Yeah, it just got too crazy. You know, we had
so much stuff to record, Winnie and I the moment, Justin.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Had a lot of editing to do. Justin does way
more than the end of the year. So, well, drops
to you.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Here's the thing, right we we went into see I
just said, here's the thing.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yes, that's your thing. You do that.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
They did a segment on Jam and Down the Hall
about that here's the thing. It just demands attention.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yes, and you also raise your finger like you're like,
here's the thing. Yes, here's the thing, your index finger.
And the best is it's it's on radio where they
can't sing.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
You, but it's more for whoever you're talking to.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Okay, So anyway, here's the thing. Okay, Billy and I
had to come in on the first Monday of our
vacation to record the year end Countdown, the music one.
We just break it up because we have so much
going on before vacation, we can't fit that in. Okay.
The problem with that, and I deal with this every year,
is Billy, once we go on vacation, goes into vacation. Billy. Yeah,
(01:26):
all right. So he's like, not even here. So he
came in on Monday. Now, mind you, I have everything
laid out for him. Probably he had a breakfast so
ten it wasn't.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Bad out for you. You would have been, yeah, you
want to come.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
I had already worked out don Cardio had two meals.
So I came in. I literally I get his headphones,
I get all the research. It's all laid out for him.
He walks in, we start recording. In the very first one,
he's like lost, like doing what are we doing? And
he's trying to like read it and like you know,
he kind of talk about it and he just keeps
(02:01):
messing up. Yeah, and he's like, I'm so sorry, I'm
on in vacation mode.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
So that was a lot about next year. When I
said I think so I got here about nine. He
got here about ten thirty. He was late, he said
ten and then he you know, it took us about
two hours, and then I spent two hours editing. So
I did not get home and it was on, it
was on. It was fucking traffic.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, it was Monday. Is it twenty third, Yeah, so there.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Was holiday traffic. I didn't get home until three thirty
four o'clock. I was supposed to be home at like one.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yeah, you know, I think you might want to suck
it up next year and this year, I should say
and just stay late on that week, like one day.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
I'm going to remind him of that. And I was
texting Jen. I was so annoyed. I love Billy, but
I'm like, I want to be on fucking vacation, Winnie.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Yeah, I think, no more coming back after you're done
on the Friday.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
You just got to see. And I do this thing too,
because I'm a sucker. I didn't have to do with
this vacation, but thank you. Here's the thing, yeh, here
it is. Here's the thing is I try to be
mister nice guy, and I'll tell the salespeople if I'm
not going away. I'm like, I'm not going away.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
I'm home don't fucking say that. Bro, they didn't have
me because they ordered that for you. They wouldn't. They
would to get a sales deal for you while they're
on vacation.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
But you know, if it's like you know, sto, I like,
stop it. No, I don't. I'm married.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
What do you mean you can fantasize it.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
No, I do not do that. But if ones that.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
I got a nice assious?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Are you serious? Are you serious?
Speaker 2 (03:31):
God?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Can we end this podcast? In twenty twenty five.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Billy and Lisa in the Morning present a behind the
scenes look into Boston's favorite morning show. That's a little
too much information, say my guys. The after show podcasts
who Hears, Justin and Winning.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, so we were off for two weeks. We spent
two weeks doing what we do. Mine was with family
and my kids, who are up my ass. I love
them daily. Yes, Winnie has no kids. So I'm sure
you were out and about living your best life.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I had a great time. I really didn't do too much,
but it was great.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
I'm sure I worked out, I went out to eat,
I cleaned my apartment, I hung out with my dog.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
When I finished Christmas shopping.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Obviously, Yeah, I just I really, I really don't. It
was honestly a trap though, because this staycation is almost
like damn, I could do this every day at my house,
like wake up whenever. I actually loved working out early,
working out at five. I fucking loved.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
It, as do.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
I loved it, loved that that I could do that.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
One thing about the working out before you continue is, uh,
you know, I'm really into health. I have a coach.
I talk about it all the time. I you know,
eat clean and diet and all that, and you know,
I try to make progress, and there are variables that
I cannot control when it comes to you know, body
composition and stuff and diet, and one of those. Two
of those things are sleep. You know, sleep's important. Getting
(04:59):
seven to eight hour I can't. I get five to six,
sometimes four. So that's one in two is doing things
like working out in the morning, especially fasted cardio, and
I did those on vacation and I saw a huge difference.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
So it it's funny said, because you know, I started pilates.
I tried plates in December, and the women that owned
the place, they are actually fans of the show, so
they gave me like five complimentary classes which is very
sweet of them because I actually try. Right now, I
didn't go back because there's only really one instructor that
I really like.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I mean, I love her.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
I could go to her every day, but she only
does like five ams, so I and like over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
So I've done.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Her on Sundays when I like, you know, my gym's
not opening away over you. So I've done Sundays with
her or like the early mornings ratification, and I'm like,
she's my favorite person to work out with, and when
you find an instruction you like, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
That's the cheering me from not keep.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Going back because I'm like, oh, she doesn't do the
times I haven't available.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
I have the same issue with Yeah, Jenna, who does
my stretching girl, she does classes too, but they're in
the morning during the week.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Yeah, So I'm just like I want to I'm like,
I can't commit to like paying such money to something
that I only like one girl, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
And she doesn't really had the time of available.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
No.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
I mean the intructors are are fine, they're good.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
I just kind of like her cadence and like I
just kind of vibe with the way that she instructs,
you know what I mean. So so yeah, so I
loved that, but yeah it was a trap because I'm like, oh,
I can wake up at five, cod to Starbucks, get
my drink, to listen to our show, which the countdown
sounded great. I got to catch that a few times
in the car, I got to go show, you know,
and I honestly wasn't.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I didn't overspend, which was good. I thought I was
going to spend too much. Justifacation. I kind of hung
on the couch.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Coda keeps me home more because like I have to
you know, at least going right.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
It's like a child in a way.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, obviously not as much John's bility, like you know.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Still, yeah, I pretty much did the same in the
city one day, though, I say, yeah, we went to well,
we went to we went to that Illusions Museum in
Fanuel Hall, Wonder Museum.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
Right.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
No, it's a walk through all these exhibits with their illusions.
So you take a picture standing on something and then
you flip the picture upside down. It looks like you're,
you know, floating or coming downrom the sailing, I should say.
So we did that and then we did. We went
to put shak Yep and then we stayed at a
hotel in Boston, the Weston, which was cool. That was
pretty much all we did. Other than that. I just
(07:19):
you know, took care of my took care of my kids.
I have a sauna now. Really into the sauna.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Yeah, I'm really friz.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
I love it because it's lazy gro cardio.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
It's really good. I did, I did almost die.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
What do you mean?
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Yeah, I thought it was going to be the end
for me.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Stay well.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
I do ice baths every day. I have been for
a long time. I love it. It's weird. I know,
I get it, but I do it. I get a
lot out of it. And so you know, I can
do ten minutes in the ice no big deal. So
I was waiting for the sauna to come and I
would look it up and you know, watch videos on
YouTube and everyone says that they do twenty minutes in
the sauna and then they go into the ice bath
for like three to five minutes, and I'm like, okay.
(07:58):
So the first time I did that during the vacation,
I did twenty minutes in the sauna at one hundred
and eighty degrees so it's really hot, really sweaty, felt
really good. I came out of the sauna, and you know,
I've watched videos when we have people on YouTube doing this, right,
So I come out of the sauna and I go
right in the ice for five minutes. And when I
got out of the ice, the end was there. My
(08:21):
heart started beating. I felt dizzy, I felt like I
was gonna faint. I felt like my life was ending.
It was fucking So here's here's let me explain to you.
Here's the thing.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Oh my god, we were retired. Yeah, I have to.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
So basically what happened is you're supposed to ease into it.
You're not supposed to go right into the ice.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Wait ease into it, like as in not as long
or like wait in between.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
So if you're gonna go right in, you should probably
do ten minutes in the sauna and not at one
hundred and eighty degrees maybe a little bit less.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
Yeah, So from the high side, do was like fifty, right,
So are you trying to kill you?
Speaker 3 (09:02):
I'm an extreme. I'm an extremist. We this right, what happens?
He's calling me too? I don't know, should we call
him I'm yeah, I'll finish. I'll finish my thought there
after you call, were you gonna put him on the podcast?
You tell him when he answers that he's on the
podcast before he speaks. Because I don't need you anymore.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Okay, what did you need?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Because the books?
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (09:31):
By okay, I don't need you anymore. Thank you, Thanks Bill.
So what happened when he is the sauna and the
heat and the cold do two different things to your body.
When you get into the cold, it restricts your blood vessels,
which lowers your blood pressure. So what happened to me
is my blood pressure dropped? Dress dummy, Yeah, I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Was your wife home?
Speaker 3 (09:53):
She's a nurse, she was in the house. I was no,
you don't understand. I was holding onto the table, bent over.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Did you go for her?
Speaker 4 (10:00):
No?
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Not, I got close, but I was waiting and it
did pass after like a minute. It wasn't like long.
So now I corrected it. And now when I do the.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Sauna, a wave of a minute where you feel like shit.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Felt like shit, felt like I was going to pass out.
But now when I do the sauna, I get out
of the sauna and I wait for like five minutes.
I let my body cool down. Then I go in
the ice. I'm fine, I feel great.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Okay, I'm happy that you didn't die. If he died.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah, So that was my vacation. It didn't do anything crazy,
but there's a lot of sickness and stuff, kids just whatever.
But do we want to talk about the phone call
that I got?
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Oh, we want to.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Talk about We're not talking about it on the air,
but we can talk about it in the podcast because.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
You're ready to bring up on the podcast. What if
it doesn't happen.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
I think that's okay. I think the podcast, the after
show family are We're a family, and it's okay. It's
like what's said here is kind of between us, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Hey, you got the call, not me. So if you
want to talk.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
About it, well, I think it's going to happen. I'm
almost positive it is. I think. Okay. So we played
the top twenty four moments several times. The number two
moment was Winnie's feud with Jordan, who's Bill Belichick's girlfriend. Okay,
so that was a huge thing obviously got picked up worldwide.
It replayed several times. So during the vacation. I'm driving
around with my family, my kids, and my phone's ringing
(11:18):
off the hook and I don't answer it at first,
but then I do. I pick it up and it's
a girl and she says, this is justin. I said yes,
and she said, you know, this is Jordan Hudson. And
so I said to her, I don't know who that is.
I'm sorry, only because her instagram is Jordan Isabella. That's
why I was confused. So she told me who she
was and I go, oh my god. And she was
(11:39):
super nice. She was so nice and so sweet. She
was a little nervous. I could tell. And she said,
you know, listen, I just all I want is some
closure to this. She's like, you know, it just just
wasn't any closure to it. I should have reached out
when it happened. I should have come on. We tried. No,
she did say that. So I said to her straight up,
I go, listen, do you want to come in? Come
(12:01):
in live? You know a day you're in Boston, you
can come in. You can talk about it. We can
talk about it all together and put it to bed,
and you know what, you can promote your cheerleading thing.
The tryouts that are coming up. I know you want
to promote that that's important, and you know, maybe we'll
talk a little bit about you and Bill. You know,
she was a little shaky on that part, but then
she was like, you know what, let's do it all right.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
So I'm excited to meet her.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
She's coming in, Winnie and I think in the next
couple of weeks, and she's she's going to bring in
a sweatshirt for you. Okay, custom sweatshirt.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
I think it's like a cheerleading okay thing, And you know,
she wants to come in and kind of, you know,
bring closure to the situation.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
I would love to I would love to bring closure
to the situation. I'm excited to meet her. I can't
wait to chat.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Yeah. I think it's gonna be I think it's gonna
be good.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
I think it would be good.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah, Okay. It's funny. I was on the phone with
her for about an hour really, because she's very passionate
about cheerleading.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Okay, I understand you're caressing it.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
I understand. No, I was listening. I was being a
great listener. But while I'm in there, Jen is texting
me like, why what are you doing. Why are you
in the car for an hour? Now? And I'm texting her.
I'm on the phone with Bill Belichick's girlfriend. She's like,
what the fuck? It's so funny.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
That's funny.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
So that's hopefully gonna happen happen soon?
Speaker 2 (13:12):
All right, sounds good to me.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Anything else that we missed here, Whinnie? For our first after.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Showback, there was a story I wanted to tell, but
maybe I'll save it for another day since we just
told a couple of stories.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Do you know what it is? You can't remember?
Speaker 5 (13:24):
No?
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Yeah, exactly what it is?
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Oh, then just say it? Why are you whispering to me?
Speaker 2 (13:30):
What if I want to? If I want to talk
about tomorrow?
Speaker 4 (13:32):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (13:32):
You want to? You want? It's just like a tease?
Yeah for another show? Yeah, oh tomorrow, listen tomorrow. Oh
you know she's glowing.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
From the inside of them.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
I think that's true. When your love properly, you glow different.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
I do agree with that.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I think it's so true.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
I do agree with that. I will say the two
weeks home, my wife was good, but she was sick
of me. Man, you lost the glove, she was well.
You wonder something weird has to do with you. Actually,
not directly but indirect Yeah, you and her are on
the same menstrual cycle, so you both get your period
(14:14):
at the same time. And here, I don't know if
this is a new thing. I can't remember. The thing
is my wife was on birth control for years. Yeah, okay,
so she didn't even get her period. I don't know
how that works, but it was like weird. And then
she got off of the birth control. We had our
son and she never went back on. And ever since
she's gotten her period. But she has like the pre
(14:35):
period thing. So the week before the period, she hates everybody.
Then she gets her period and she hates everybody. You
know what. So she finally said to me at one
point during the vacation, she looked, I swear to god,
she looked at me, and she goes, I just don't
feel loving. I just don't. She was like, I'm like, okay.
(14:56):
So then last night she went out by herself to
a to a party, you know that she was going
to take the kids. And I said, you know what,
go on mom's night out and she said, thank you,
and I go. Are you going to be more loving
after this?
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Did you get some loving?
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Uh? No, No, she's one.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Oh well we went on on the same thing. Oh,
I just you know what we're probably I just got
my offline.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
She's I think she's pretty much done. Yeah, we're like.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Yeah, her and I are like around the same.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Yeah. Yeah, So now what happens now?
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Well I'm back on birth control, so maybe I'll be
different now.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Oh yeah, I know it's not good for you.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
I don't want to go back on it, but I
can't get pregnant. I've gone this long all getting pregnant.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
My my basically my guy in college is like, he's like,
are you dumb?
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Are you done with girls? Like I was like, yes,
back on retrol. I was like I don't know. Like
he wasn't pressuring me.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
He's like winning, He's like, I know you don't want
to get pregnant. He was like, so in case you
get a partner. He was like, you want to think
about this because I was like, well, I'm not really
having sex like that. Yeah, And he was like I know,
but I know. He's like, you know, he's I love
my guy in colleges. It was more like, don't be dumb,
like you know you if you if He's like, if
you want. He didn't care about getting pregnant. I wouldn't,
(16:06):
you know, tell you you've made it very quick. You
don't want to get pregnant.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
I mean, you could just do what I used to do.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Pull Yeah. I asked him about that. I asked him
about that, and he said it was like an eighty percent.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
I go, if I track my period and they pull
out what's what we're looking at, He's like eighty percent.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
I was like, all right, fine, it's just amazing that
the window that the window of time in a month
that a girl can get pregnant is so small when
it happened so much.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Should I said, well if?
Speaker 4 (16:30):
He was like okay, but sometimes that date those days
dairy like, it's not always the same five days. He's like,
if you don't track it right or he's like he's like,
what are you gonna do?
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Then go to a planned parent Yeah?
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Oh god. Anyway, thank you guys for listening and sticking
with us. If you're brand new, welcome in. We do
a new after show every single day right after the
Billy and Lisa show. It's a companion piece, right. You
listen to the show of the podcast show and you
listen to the after show. That's how it works, and
we'll be back tomorrow. Great day everyone, you too, Winny Bye.
