Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh my god, is it Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
It's a freaky, freaky Friday.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Oh my god, is it the after show on a Friday?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
It is?

Speaker 1 (00:06):
It's Friday. We don't shoot on Friday, all right, We
never shoot on Friday. And it's like, I know, we'll
just steal Billy's Friday Friday, right, Welcome.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Man, Billy and Lisa in the Morning present a behind
the scenes look into Boston's favorite morning show. That's a
little too much information, say, guys, here we go the
after show podcast. Who appears Justin and winning?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Hey, look at that. They gave us a little bit
of money and now we're like, hey, we'll do a
Friday podcast.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Guys, keep listening and we'll keep we'll keep delivering.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
We got to give the people what they want. That's right. Yeah,
if you missed it, we you know, we we originally
were getting no money for this podcast, and then they
gave us a little bit of money, then a little
bit more money, and then this year they gave us
a little bit more money and almost doubled again. And
so you know, they were like, you might want to
think about doing a Friday podcast, and.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
You know what, here we are. Can we keep it up?
We'll see. It's day one.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
We can't guarantee every week that just it depends.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Guys, don't understand Justin on a Friday is literally the
most miserable person day.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
I'm just busy.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I love that. I gotta do that. Do you know
what time I got here?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Do you know?

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Do you know? It's live and very No, it's not, No,
it's not.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I'm just very busy.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Are you excited for your weekend?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Sir? Oh, very excited. I have a family reunion. Okay,
it's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
So it's on your wife's side or your side?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
No, no, my side, my mom's side. Oh yeah, my
mom has ten brothers and sisters.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
You guys do feel the reunion?

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Well? Yeah, so she has ten brothers and sisters. It's
the Jay family.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
So she number eleven?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
No, she's a number like no is eight?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Is there eleven kids? Or ten?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
So there was Okay, I might get this wrong. There
were ten. My uncle Bill passed away aides in the eighties. Yeah,
but he was a gay man. Yeah, and it was
early on. You know, he went to New York to dance,
and this is when you were it was tapping a
little bit. I remember a little bit. I do remember
we had a big family event for when he died.

(02:12):
And actually you don't remember this, but the early nineties
it was a national campaign where yeah, but they made
these quilts for people that passed from AIDS, and we
made a quilt for our family that went to Washington,
d c. And it went down there. It was really
I was so little, but yeah, my uncle Bill passed away.

(02:33):
Actually wondered how much of a little shit I was.
I'll never forget this. I don't have a lot of
memories fro when I was a kid because I did
a lot of drugs and it messed my memory up.
I remember we went to the funeral. We were leaving
the funeral and my mom and my aunt were in
the front and my cousin that was his mom my
aunt were in the back. And so I was probably
six maybe, and so I remember we were driving and

(02:54):
they're crying, like they're all emotional and may be in
the little shit that I was. I said to my cousin, yeah,
I remember when I got AIDS once. Oh yeah, I
got it. I had a red dot on my forehead
and my mother turned around and smacked me so hard
right in the face. Oh so bad. I was such

(03:16):
a little shit and I try to keep those memories
fresh when my son is a little shit. Yeah, I'm like,
that's my seed. But anyway, so I think there are
nine left. But my whole life, we had we had
family parties. Every year Christmas, we had a Santa would come.
But over the last couple of years it's kind of
the grand My grandparents passed away, so it's kind of

(03:38):
died off. So it's been two years, so they call
it a family read. It's in Haverill, actually at my
cousin's house. It's this big hoorah. So it'll be good. Yeah,
it'll be fun. I mean there's gonna be tons of
food and all my aunts and uncles and cousins. Yeah,
it'll be a cheat night. I get one cheat night
a week, so I'll be eating. Yep, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I genuinely don't know. I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
That's every weekend.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
I know, well I have So my niece is starring soccer,
so I want to go, but she's five. So you know,
it's like when they like practice for like twenty minutes
and then they run around for another twenty minute.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
They don't really know what they're doing.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
So I'm like, do I go to tomorrow?

Speaker 4 (04:14):
I mean, I'll go to multiple over the season, but like,
do I bother going on the first day?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Should I wait and go then like next week? I
genuinely don't know a hot tip.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
If you go, you gotta bring oranges. Oh, but I'm
on a mom that's okay, suck on the little oranges.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, so maybe I'll do that.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I gotta talk to my girlfriend. We haven't really made plans.
I don't really know what her schedule was, like this weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
You know what we're not doing going on Bill's boat?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
No? But are we going on the twentieth?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
No?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Or not?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
He said? He said no.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
He said no only because producer Riley is going to
be away and she can't go and he wants her
to be there, but she we're never going to go
on the boat, That's what he said. He wants it
to be a full team effort.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
But that's not our fault that she's going away.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I don't know. Maybe the end of September she won't.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yeah, but then he's going to Africa.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Right right, Well, it's the boat stays in the water
all winter. We can have in December for your birthday.
Come on, that'll be awesome.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I'm still going on the twentieth.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah, I'm still going to go. I'm just gonna show up.
I'm sure to show up.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Last time I went right. All I had to say
was I was dropping something off to Billy's boat and
they let me in.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Please do that, because every time you do that, he
shows up to work the next day on Monday and
he gives me a great candid microphone because he's all
worked up. Speaking of candid microphones, we had talked about
this off the air, off the podcast, about the only
candid mic that I ever was forbidden to play again. Yeah,
it was because Billy's wife Michelle heard it.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Yeah, do you have it?

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I have it?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Play it?

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Well, okay, so this I only played it once and
she heard it and she wasn't like upset, but she
was kind of getting on him a little bit, like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Because he's talking about a girl that could be his daughter.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah, yeah, he was hold on to play it, Just
play it.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Stop talking about it.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Well, I got to tell you what it's about. It's
about Euphoria, the show Euphoria. Yeah, in Sydney. Sweeney who's
in the show. I put Billy onto Euphoria and he
started watching it, and then this happened.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
The Ken Did microphone. No one ever knows when he's
talking into the kendd microphone.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Oh my god, Cassie, Oh jesus.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
I would reinvent her entire birthing section the microphone.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
That is disgusting.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
You got to understand. It's he says these things to me,
and I know that Billy is just trying to be
like one of the guys type of thing, because he's
really so not feminine but metro. He's metrosexual. You know,
he likes pillows and duvets and he's into fashion and
all that stuff. But then sometimes, you know, I think

(07:07):
in that moment, I said, oh, do you watch Euphoria, Dude,
what do you think about about Cassie? Because she's like
really hot.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
It's the most outrageous thing for you to believe that.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yes, it's like the gang boy stuff. But he was
a criminal. Yeah shut up, Bill, Yeah, we just let
him have it. It's fine. But I played that on
the air, so I saved it. See how I work
is when I get these candid microphones or anything like that,
I just store it away and then I wait for
an organic moment of the show to then play it.
And so then I waited. I waited until like a

(07:37):
week or two later when he did a story on
Sydney Sweeney in Euphoria. And then I was like, oh,
you're a big fan Bill Boom, and that's how it hits.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
It's funny his wife never listens.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
And she was listening. Yeah, And well, the thing is is,
I felt so bad. I talked to Michelle. I apologize.
I said, it's not him, it's me, and I just
like I explained to you, and she understood, but she
didn't know who she was, so she was like, who's
he talking about? So then she googled Cassie from Euphoria
and of course the pictures come up this young, hot,
big boobs. You know. Another example of that is the

(08:11):
makeup one. So I had the candid mic I played
it this week of him talking about getting makeup done.
First TV show. Yeah, and I had like from a
year ago. He came in one morning and didn't know
the Mike Mike was on, and he started talking to
Lisa asking her makeup advice. At least I need to
get some makeup advice, like what do you think about
this whatever? And she's just looking at him like what

(08:31):
are you talking about? And so then here we go
a year later and he's on the air talking about
a makeup mishap. Yeah, so little behind the scenes of
how the show works.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
We're always thinking ahead.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
That's it picking ahead. I gotta go to the gym.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Oh, you do what's on the agenda today?

Speaker 4 (08:45):
You know what I love about having a trainer. I
just show up and he tells me, I don't know
what we're doing today.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
It's very similar to my coach that does my nutrition.
He gives me a plan on Friday, and then I
just followed the plan. That's what I do.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
I'll tell you when I get there.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
All right, Well, everybody have a great weekend. We'll be
back on Monday with the Sabrina Secret Sound seven ten
and a ten and of course another after show. After
that we out piece
