Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, welcome in, everybody to the After Show Podcast.

(00:02):
I'm justin. Whinnie is back. Whinnie, are you failing? Okay?
You were off yesterday.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm only here for Nurseona.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Well, I was going to call out again, but I
was like, no, nurse, you know it's coming in.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
She said that, she said on the air. But so
are you okay health wise? Yeah? Sure, yeah, I'm good. Okay, Well,
welcome back. I did not do a podcast without you.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Oh yeah, I guess.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I thought about doing it and then calling you and
getting you on the on the phone while you were sick.
But you know what, I thought, better up because even
when you're failing one hundred percent, sometimes you know, yeah,
you don't want to talk to me. So I cannot
even imagine if you were sick. Yeah, definitely not.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Billy and Lisa in the Morning present a behind the
scenes look into Boston's favorite morning show.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
That's a little too much information to say, guys, The
After Show Podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Who here's Justin and Winny. All right, it is a Thursday,
November seventh. Welcome in, Thank you for joining. If you
listen to the show this morning, we are pre sheiate it.
This is the after show, which is a recap behind
the scenes look at the Billy and Lisa show. And today, Winnie,
we have some special guests. Do you want to introduce them?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I would love to.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
We have Nurse Fiona from Nurse Fiona's Medspot and our
favorite esthetician Sam who does our laser, our facials, all
the good stuff, and they are here to join us
to the little Q and A. We're going to talk
about a lot of fun things. So they came to
join us.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah. So basically if you follow or you know, listen
to the show and you follow winning on social media.
She has been with Nurse Fiona for a while year
doing all kinds of things, weight loss treatment, facials, what else, Winnie, laser,
laser IV bags, yep, ye.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
There's more. I don't know, there's a list. I gotta
go through it, but it's plenty well.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
And then so she's doing all that and then you know,
we do a podcast. We work together every day, Winnie
and I and I started sharing about my self care
Era and she put me on a Nurse Fiona too,
So I've been going as well and getting laser hair
removal and a little boatox there. So welcome Nurse Fiona.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Thank you, thank you for having me again. What times three?

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Yeah, anytime you want to come in your go to
be honest, we had you on before and the reaction
was actually pretty incredible.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, there were a lot of people that reached out,
a lot of questions that people had, you know, because
you know, I'm new to the medspa game, you know,
but you know a lot of women go to medspas
and they have a lot of questions, which is actually
what I want to start with. Earlier on in this
on the show this week, we had a story about
a medspot in Randolph that was giving fake botox. When

(02:30):
he actually went there, I did.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
For facials, but yes, I've never gotten any no injectables.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I went a few years ago down the street from
my house.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
So the woman got arrest So another location, Yeah there's
too Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yeah, and the woman got arrested. She was not a nurse,
but was pretending to be a nurse. Correct, So I
want to start with that now. The scary part of
the story for me is that the place and when
he can attest to this looked like a normal place.
The prices were a little bit cheaper, right, winning.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah, they were.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
I would say they were like ten to twenty dollars
cheaper than like a facial maybe that you guys had
or something. Yeah, yeah, not crazy, but I'm like, oh,
it's not a bad deal.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah. So I think she got close to nine hundred
thousand dollars, that's what I heard. Yeah, and then she
got caught because someone got filler lip filler or something
and it kind of messed up their face.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
So how can people not go there? Go to places
like that?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
So what sucks is that there aren't a lot of
regulations that govern what's going on, right, I mean, aside
from having your license, but you do not have to
display your license on the wall. There's nothing stating that.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
I actually don't. I heard you on the radio say
that bad bitch.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
I agree that the girls did for me. But my
actual diploma doesn't fit in the frames. I just haven't
changed it, so it's not my real diploma. But that's
for a diploma that's not for a license. Yeah, Okay,
you can graduate. I can graduate and take my state
boards and not pass and not get a license. So
the way people need to go about it is, I

(04:05):
think before going to your appointment, look up the location,
look up the business, look up the staff, and you
can go on mass dot gov and look up their license.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
So do your research correct you have.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
To, unfortunately, and then you can see is there a
license active? You can see do they have any infractions,
do they have any suspensions? Do they have like any
complaints will come up on there. So you just have
to do a little legwork before you go. But it's important.
Like people are sticking needles in your face, they're putting
toxin in your face, they're putting fillers in your face.

(04:39):
And this girl was buying it I think from Ali
Baba or Brain or wherever the heck she was getting.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
What is that I keep hearing that name.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
It's like, I don't know, it's from a place in China,
like a website from China. You get really really really
cheap shit, like you can buy I don't know, any.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
Fifty dollars for something that cost six to fifty. Yeah,
so she was literally saving six hundred dollars. Okay, So
my question is what if it wasn't botox, what do.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
You or if it was a diluted what was it?
You think that she was a jetting into them. Obviously
you don't know exactly.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
We don't know, so I think it's just a counterfeit version,
like buying like a fake Louis. Yeah, okay, you're getting
a fake botox. You're getting black market botox. And there's
no regulations in these other countries that are saying ten
units equals ten units, so it could ten units could

(05:36):
be one hundred units in their vial. Right, there's no equivalents.
There's nobody like checking it and making sure that it's
you know, A equals A.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Yeah. So do we think something like this this case
will help to get maybe get better laws put in.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
I think so. And I think in a lot of
states they have taken away the ability for registered nurses
to inject because of these people that are out there
that are doing this. So they create more regulations. Which
is why I went back to school from my NP
because I saw the writing on the wall. You know,
it took me four years to do that, but I
knew that I had to protect everything that I've worked for.

(06:14):
So so New Jersey, I think nps and pas and
doctors are the only ones that oh yeah, and then Florida,
I don't know if they switched it yet, but it's
the RNs can not inject in Florida either. California just
switched it back. For many years it was only npspas
and mds. So there's many states and then there's some states.

(06:35):
I think Arizona the estheticians can do motox.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
So it just depends on what.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yeah, it's really bad, so there should I wish there
was like more of a federal oversight that showed, but
each state has different licenses. But as an NP, I
am nationally certified, so that's a national and I'm also
licensed in Florida too, so I have dual licenses.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
If that is nurse Fiona, they can come see.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
You, just come see me and my staff. I have
two other NP's on stuff. I have two r nds
and they're all license. You can look up our licenses.
Go to mass dot gov, go to our website. You
can literally search our names and you can see our
active license and that we are.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
And this is why, listen, I'm all about a good
discount and stuff, but this is why something like this,
you don't go to the discount and place, like when
you get Steph in your face, botox, anything's injecting it
into your body. You want to go someone that's reputel
and if it's gonna cost you little bit more, but
you're gonna know you're safe.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
And even hydro facials. Yeah, there's I think I actually
went on her Instagram. I creeped a little bit. Somebody
sends it to me and she's posting like that she's
doing hydrofacials. And I could tell with the tip that
it's not a hydropace.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Giving fake hydro facials too, but she can call.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
It a hydro facial or whatever the heck. But like,
legally that's a trademark name. Yeah, you can't say I'm
doing a hydra facial unless you have a hydro facial, correct,
And I could tell the tip that it's not.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
The other thing that must be annoying for you as
an owner, a medspot owner is stories like this give
a bad name too medspas. You know, then people might
be like, oh, I don't know if I want to
go to even go to one, right, you know? So
I think it's yeah, I think we need to you
need to do something, We need to do something.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Let's do something right right now.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
We're doing it right now, We're doing it right now?

Speaker 4 (08:19):
There can I tell a quick story. So I was
at a not a conference, like a trade show in
New York. This was like ten years ago, and it's
all these vendors and it's all skincare and hair. It's
like this big, big trade show, like it's a zoo.
So I'm walking to the bathroom and I see this
booth and they're selling juveiterm Botox, Kaibella. It's not Allergan,

(08:42):
like Allergan's the company that makes it right, And I'm
walking by. I'm like, uh, who are these people? And
it's just some random So I walk over. I pretend
like I don't know what I'm talking about, like oh,
what's this and they're like, oh yeah, juveiter and this that.
I was like, oh, I don't know how to inject this,
Like how do I He's like, well, I'm an engineer
and I can teach you.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
An engineer was Julia Roberts, I swear.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
So then while he's like attending to other people, I'm
taking pictures. Oh my god, I hope I don't get like.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Nobody listens to this.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
So I'm taking pictures. I'm sending it to my rep
and probably like half an hour later, I'm talking to
the attorneys from Allergan. FDA is involved.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
Wow, so how are they selling it?

Speaker 4 (09:31):
It was just fake counterfeit. So when you opened the box,
a juveidim. So I actually bought one and then they
reimbursed me. I spent like I think I spent maybe
like two hundred dollars or something, and I bought a
bunch of different stuff and then they ended up reimbursing me.
But I opened the box and it wasn't Juvendim. It
was just a syringe and it had it was a

(09:53):
generic label, and it had their logo like like a
sticker on. So they were from Miami and eventually they
it took like two years, two freaking years, and then
they got arrested and they got shut down.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
So for two years after that, they continue to sell
fake product.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
And I was getting their emails and everything, and I'm like,
what the fuck, Like they're still sorry.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
You can swear on air when he swears every every night?
Fuck fuck fuck ye see what I mean. It's not
a big deal.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
So anyway, Yeah, it's out there, It's been out there.
You just have to do your homework. And I mean,
like I constantly got emails from Beijing. Do you want
to buy this? It's fifty dollars? Do you want to
buy this? It's one hundred lasers that are like, I
don't know, five thousand dollars where we pay one hundred
and ninety thousand for our laser. Wow, I'm a fool.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
You're doing well.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
No, I'm kidding.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
We'll get to the laser in a minute, but I
want to get to the the what I had done, saxify. Yeah,
so I'm new to this. You know, it's my second
time getting it. The first time we did it here
on the podcast, and willing is a little bit it
kind of to test it out, but you really hit
me on my forehead. And it was called daxify. Yes,
which now, hold on, before you explain what it is,
you kind of explain it to me a little bit.

(11:10):
You will like it has peptides in it, so it's
good for you. So you should have heard me when
he I was I was telling people, oh, yeah, it's
this daxifies, this new kind of kind of botox and
has peptides. Like I knew what I was talking about.
I have no idea what is the benefit of it.
It looks great.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yeah. So, I mean peptides are going to help to
condition the skin. It's going to help to give you
a beautiful glow to your skin, and it just gives
you a healthier just healthier skin, to just give you
a better skin health. But it's it's pretty much a
competitor to Botox and Disport and the other ones that
are out there. We carry three Botox, Disport and now Toxify,

(11:47):
so it's just another option. We charge the same thing.
We don't charge anything different. But yeah, so that's and
it looks great. I have to I think I told
you earlier. I have like a little bit that I
want to touch up on you because I'm just such
a perfection.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Yeah, well I have a lot to work with him.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Yeah, you have a lot of muscle and a lot
of muscle.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeah. Man, I don't know how the muscle is strong
in my forehead, but you know what, I'm glad it's
there because I love that. So wait, so can people
choose which one they want when they come in or
do you make it kinds of or not?

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Because essentially i'm prescribing, right, it's a medication, So it's
not like you're going to your doctor and saying, hey,
I would like to have this certain seizure mad.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
You know.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yes, they can take it into consideration, but it's there.
They're the experts. I'm the expert. So we talk about it.
We come up with, you know.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Okay, a plan. That's why they come see the professionals. Right, So,
how long can I expect this to last?

Speaker 4 (12:40):
So normal is three to four months. They claim that
it's lasting longer. I mean that. I don't want to
piss anybody off, but I personally haven't seen that, which
is why we charge the same price. Okay, So but
their claim to fames that they last longer than the
other products, I haven't seen that yet.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
But less the same, same, the same, which.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Is why we charge the same. There's some places that
charge more for it. Okay, however they get away with it.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Good for them, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Very person unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Oh well that's good. I think that's the key to
being successful in business, being a business owner, you know,
is being honest with people, treating everybody fairly. I think.
But I love it. My wife loves it too. I
think it looks great.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Why is she coming in?

Speaker 1 (13:24):
I know I got to send her in?

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Has she gotten photox. She has and so she's not
new to this.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Oh no, not at all and lip filler. Her dream
is to actually do what you do. You know, she's
a nurse, so she has her masters. She's going to
go back for her NP. She should, so I'm going
to send her in. I'll send her in. I just
don't want her to like steal my thunder. But yeah,
so forehead is done. Okay, I have a little bit

(13:49):
on next to my eyes.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
You're becoming addicted.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
Well, the more you do, you make his face head
for crows feet done and he's getting his jaw line
done like he's down.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
No, it's kind of like breaking your your yard. You know,
you got all these leaves and if you just did
half the other half now looks way exactly.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Yea, and that looks like crap.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
But I'm going to be honest about something. So that
I've found since I had this done, there have been
several men that I've met that also get it done,
but that I.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Didn't know because they had a good job.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Yeah yeah, and they tell me they're like, yeah, I
get it too. You know, I had no idea, So
it is pretty popular.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Yeah, I didn't know it like, I don't know what
percentage would you say, Sam, let's include Sam in this conversation.
We have of men that come through because you see
a lot of men for like laser and fecials, and.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
Yeah, it's still low. I'd say probably like twenty percent.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
Okay, I always say ten, so oh twenty is good. Yeah,
a few a week, I would say, and they come
and get them sculpted. Have you done?

Speaker 2 (14:54):
I'm sculpted yet, I've done it.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
I have not what he did.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
We should?

Speaker 5 (15:00):
Yeah, oh yeah, I pumped it up, pumped it up.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Well, you know it's you know, it's crazy. I messaged
Fiona after it, so you know, I made a rail
of my experience last time. I came and the same day,
like three med spas d m me and we're like,
you have to come in and see us.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Am I gonna have to start beating?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
No, no, no, it's fine.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
I'm gonna throw some head butts in there.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Yeah, I was like, get get away. Yeah, I was
really surprised. Yeah, but I told each of them. Of
course I'm exclusive, but I thought that was interesting, you know,
for being exclusive, so I only come see the best.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
I'm sure there's others that are amazing and I'm not
and I have tons of colleagues, but you know, go away.
Why are they like trying to steal my people?

Speaker 1 (15:40):
I know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
I didn't want justin.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Are they messaging you to? No?

Speaker 2 (15:44):
They know they know where my little I can't break.
I'm so you're soft.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Well they're testing it out. They're testing it out.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
No one bothers me.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
So I'll be back on Tuesday. Perfect right to shut
you up? Okay, all right a little bit.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
You'll got your hair removal on TUESDA.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
We're going to transition into that. So that's the botox.
Daxify is like a bonus, which I really do like.
But initially it was the laser hair removal for me.
I shaved my whole body. I always have. I don't
like hair, and I didn't admit that for a long time.
I thought I was. It was embarrassing, you know, But
then I kind of got out on the radio that

(16:20):
I did that, and it's just what I like. So
you started the laser on me on my back and
my arms. I had two sessions done and I'm already
seeing a difference. Yeah, I'm already seeing a difference. And
so I'm coming in Tuesday to stop my legs and
my stomach chest.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Eventually it's just going to be a dolphin.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Yeah, like a dolphin. I love it. I love it,
and listen. I had a lot of fear for a
long time because laser. I didn't know if it was
gonna hurt, you know, I asked Winnie, I'm a little
bit of a bitch, you know, for someone that's been
through what I've been through and ment of the places
I've been through, I've kind of got a little soft
in age. Maybe it's having kids. I'm not sure, but

(17:00):
I always had a fear of the laser, and I
gotta be honest with you, and this is one hundred
percent true. It doesn't hurt.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
No, the almost does it feel like it feels.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Like a little band is like snapping on my skin,
but not bad. Sam. So Sam did it last time? Hi? Sam?
And she kept saying to me, are you okay? Are
you okay? And I'm like, are you doing it? Because
I don't feel anything. So it's an easy process.

Speaker 6 (17:25):
I know you did really good. I was. I was
surprised because you can hear it when you're doing laser
hair movie.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
You can hear and you can some process, and I
was like, are you okay?

Speaker 4 (17:34):
We open the windows. We have like all sorts of
like fans and vents and things that get rid of
all those Yeah yeah, but it smells like burnt hair.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
Yeah, Sam, what's the you do a lot of laser hair?

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Move?

Speaker 2 (17:45):
What's like the biggest body part that you do? Like
that people like want done under arms?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Really yeah, and then a lot of like facial areas
like upper lips. Yeah yeah, yeah, chin, that's really popular.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
So I'm getting my legs done right now. I'm coming
like next week or the week after to see you.
And the only thing I will say, I'm not gonna
lie that on the shin bone it hurts because it's bone.
But on my muscle, I mean I have very muscly legs,
my muscles, my cast and it's like I'm chilling. It's
actually kind of relaxing. I just like lay there with
my ass out and the only thing I'm a little

(18:18):
afraid of is.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Doing my vagina. Yeah, like women do it.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (18:22):
Yeah, It's it's not fun. It's definitely not fun.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
But wherever the the more coarse the hair is, the
more you are going to feel it for the first
few sessions.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Like I think my lips would be like on fire.

Speaker 6 (18:35):
Oh no, really.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
That's my biggest fear is like the Brazilian line, like
the coarse hair, so like to.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Go from that to the on the same dage, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yeah, And I'm like, oh, I can do it.

Speaker 5 (18:56):
My legs, I'm like, but my legs are very done too,
and I even notice like how they're not growing in
or they're patchy because I'm already getting rid of so
much hair, which as a Lebanese girl, I'm a hairy
Lebanese girl with pcos that's dark hair.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
And I my tub is thinking you guys.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
Because my tub looks like a freaking I don't know
dog or cat had like a play date and there
every time I shave.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
So I was so like, it will save your your
drain if you go, like.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
You seriously save money on plumbing.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Because I tell you all that goes down that I
have drain on deck. I do. But I was just
curious that if you get a lot of bitch of Brazilians.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Yeah, absolutely, okay, but it is the next session, but
it's the perfect time.

Speaker 5 (19:44):
Well we were talking about this is the perfect time
to start your laser journey because it takes about six sessions, right, yes,
for whatever you're doing, and I know you can't really
be exposed to too much sun during this time, so
it's not good if you want to be by the
pool in June, July or August. But now where we're
it's getting dark at four pm. Now is the time
that no matter what part of your body you get done,

(20:04):
you should be good to go.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Yeah, fall is the best time to start because by
the time we're getting into next summer, you've had multiple
sessions under your belt.

Speaker 6 (20:12):
And you see results. The hair is already thinner.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
You can like push some you know, sessions off if
you need to if you're going to be in the sun.
But you're in a good spot. We're not going to
mess up here.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
So you think that like four to six weeks people
come in, Like what's the average?

Speaker 6 (20:26):
It depends on the area.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Okay, So like face, hormonal areas is usually four weeks,
and then anything on the body it's anywhere from six
to eight weeks.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
Yeah, so I've got I got my face ten years
ago and I'm gonna have to have you touch that
up though, actually, because it's a hormonal area. So you know,
with your homeomones change. Women, we're always our hormones are
always changing. So I was like, oh, I have to
have sam touched up because it's not bad. I mean,
I used to pack a coating, but I've noticed as
like my life changes, Like you know, you're in your face,

(20:56):
your hormones or whatever it's they're coming back. It's popping
back ups. Maintenance is also something you guys do. So
if someone has gotten laser hair it somewhere else, they
can come and get maintenance with you.

Speaker 6 (21:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Absolutely, Okay, Okay, I drifted back now, I drifted away
when the lips happened. I took a little vacation.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
Might be happy when you go home.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah. But to add on to what when he said
that happened with me, I got my first treatment right
before the summer started, and I didn't know, and so
I came in and you're like, well, listen, you can
come and start, but you have to come back in
September or October. So this is the perfect time. So
now I'm like in full mode. You know, I'm coming Tuesday.
I'm alternating body parts like I want to be done
by next time, I'm.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Going to be a dolphin by June. Like it's like.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
So so smith, and let me let me tell you something.
My friends at the gym are jelly jelly. Yeah, oh no,
I'm encouraging. Don't worry.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
It just thinks that you live so far.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Yeah yeah, yeah, it's worth it.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
It's worth it. And especially if you know we have
like FDA approof products, like we're not buying machines off
of they sell machines on Ali Baba laser machines on
and look it up.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
That's crazy right now, that's crazy. And here's the thing.
I know a lot of men are not like me
and want to get rid of all the hair in
their body. But I know back hair is a big one. Yeah,
I know all my friends hate their back hair. They
make their wives shave it like I did. So I
think that's a big one that guys would want to
get done their back.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Yeah, we have a lot of guys that come for
that their back.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
Now you mentioned face right, so like could I ever
get under here done? Just under here? Do the guys
do that good anywhere? Because I have a beer, but
I will never grow a beard under here, like.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
You're under neck.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Yeah, can you do that?

Speaker 4 (22:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (22:45):
Really, yeah, We've had plenty of people.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
They will talk about that later.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
I'm not a barber, so I definitely can't give you
a lineup.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Where we can draw a line do what I would do.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
Men do their private we don't, but but absolutely okay, yes,
you like, I.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
Won't tell you I'm not doing that, but there is
there somewhere.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
That way, And I know I didn't ask.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
I didn't, but that's just face off of your comfortabil level,
Like there are people that you do it.

Speaker 6 (23:15):
Yeah. Oh yeah, absolutely, yeah, it's safe to do. Yeah,
my hope he doesn't.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
He doesn't listen to this. My son Dominic, Yeah, yeah,
twenty three, he's like, hey, can I go get my
junk like LAZERD. I'm like, uh where? He's like, what
are your girls can do it?

Speaker 2 (23:31):
I'm like, they're doing that.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
I like your son. He's like, what's the big deal?

Speaker 4 (23:39):
Yeah, when he got his nom I'm going to stop.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Now. When he got right what he got, what he.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
Showed me, No, the story, he's going so embarrassed, Okay,
I gotta stop. It's not like dirty or anything, it's
just he'll be super embarrassed.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Yeah, yeah, wait, so do you do you do a
woman's private you'll do but not men. Yeah, yeah, that
makes sense, I think.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Because men are just oh they can be kind of perverted. Yeah,
what do you want to say? Like they come in
and they're like, I mean, you've had the.

Speaker 6 (24:13):
Comfortable didn't you have done it a situation?

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Did you have a situation or was that Mary or
who think we both had situations?

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Oh? Really? Okay, I have I have something to add
to this.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
But it wasn't your place because you are wonderful and
you want us decide if we want.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
To Oh yeah, yeah, yeah no men. So infamous story.
I got a sugar waxed on on a Brazilian right, so,
because I'm not getting it lasered, so I went to
this place my wife sent me and walked in. It
was a nice girl, she said, no problem. It was
the worst experience of my life. It was so painful.
I was really not that it was your So my wife,

(24:52):
it's twenty minutes to do her complete Brazilian. It was
like an hour and a half from me because she
had to go so slow.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Oh my god, yeah, I think it's worse when you slow.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
It was horrifying, but The crazy part is I had
to sign a waiver before I did it that said
I would not do anything inappropriate, sexual or anything. So
I signed it. So in the middle of this oh yeah,
oh yeah. So in the middle of the horrifying experience,
I'm screaming. I said to her, I go, you know
that thing that I signed in the beginning. She goes, yeah,

(25:23):
I go, there is none of that going on, Like
this is fucking hell. She was laughing. I'm like, you
know what she said. She said, you'd be surprised, like
guys are creeps, you know, And I go, what is
romantic about this?

Speaker 4 (25:39):
There is I wouldn't say romantic, might be kinky, like
some weird ye like they're submitting to her getting there
and wax your ball.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
It's your number one podcast.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
I guess, So, I guess. So when do you have
any questions?

Speaker 5 (26:00):
I do want to talk about because this is new
that you guys are offering some finance options, because I
think that's really important because some of the things are
obviously a little bit more on the expensive side. And
if you if you have good enough credit, you can
get I think it's zero percent for six months.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
It depends.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Yeah, yeah, credit it's through a company called Cherry, and
it's through Allergan that makes botox.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Okay, so you have to have.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
An account with Allergan in order to offer this. Okay,
that's kind of a good tell tale sign that if
somebody is offering Cherry, you know that they have good
a good account with.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
And they have good stuff.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
Yeah. Yeah, so so yeah, they just apply and then
they get their line of credit and then they do
whatever they want with it. And it depends on your
credit score then as to how much you you can get. Yeah,
for the I mean I have great credit.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
So if you have a good credit, so you probably
get go suspend it at Nursingona. And then also I
want to talk about you because it's about to be winter,
and the hydro facial was my first real experience.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Like why I started coming.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
To you guys because I have super bad skin, you know,
exement all that.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
So can Sam you do this all the time. You're
great at it.

Speaker 5 (27:02):
Love I go to Sam, I love her. I also
go to Marry, she's great too with the hydro facial. What,
like I said, say, with the winter coming, is the
hydro facial your best options? Given another facial, you would recommend, Like,
what do you think for the winter.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
No, the hydrofacial is great all the time. Yeah, it's
awesome that every everybody needs that hydration. It's good for anybody,
any skin type, dry, oily, anything.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
And I think we also talk about you you have
to the German plane with it. Oh yeah, I like
you can't.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Not, I can't take them together.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
You can't. Okay, see I have some skin.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
But I feel like the German planing makes it such
a big difference because once they clear the dead skin
and like the X, you know, and then you go
in with the hide with the needle.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
I mean it makes yes.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Well, I'm just from the point of the listener. I
have no idea what you're talking about. What is the
German plan?

Speaker 5 (27:53):
When Sam or Mary uses a little a little ring
and they go through your whole face, and I saw
that all the dead skin, and then obviously so when
she goes in to do the facial with the hydro
facial and then the machinery they use, your face is
so clear that they can really get into your pores
and clean it out.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
So you want to get them together.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
I highly recommend doing both.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
I hold on, what does nurse Fiona recommend.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
I wish I could do both at the same time.
I'm just super sensitive, like I have rosetia. I have
like just all sorts of allergies. I'm allergic to band aids,
like I just have sensitive skin.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Okay, yeah, your face looks like amazing.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
I don't understand because I just know my face. I
know what to do with my face. So I'll do
a derma plane one week, and then the next week
I'll do the hydra.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
Go in and see them if you have the right
skin type.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
And I have shitty skin and I can.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
Do it, so I think it may it just me
and I tried it, yeah, and just I just broke
out into little bumps and it wasn't.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
Terrible, right, And I find I've done I've done it
without before, like if I don't tell them and we
don't have time to do both, like fuck, And there's
a clear difference. I mean, the hidro fen is still
great without it, like you'll still feel fresh and clean,
but there's a new level of like I don't even
know how to describe, like euphoria after you get a
hydro fysient with derma plane or any honestly, any facial

(29:13):
with derma plane.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Really the biggest differences huge.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
What's nicest to do that after you've had one of
our resurfacing treatments. So now since it's laser season, not
only is it hair and mobile, it's also laser skin resurfacing.
So we have our Co two laser yep, and that's
going to help resurface the skin and it's going to
help make it more like an airbrush feel. And so

(29:37):
in the process of healing, your skin gets kind of
like sandpaper, right right, So about two weeks later, it's
awesome to do hydrofacial to get rid of all that
dead skin that comes off of that treatment.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
I also want to ask it's about to take, you know,
holiday season, Christmas, Hanukah, all the gift giving.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
You guys, you give cards, Yeah, okay, So if you
don't know what you.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Get your wife or your friend, or your mom, or
your daughter, or your sister or.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Anybody, or or your husband, whoever.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
This is a great way to give them a little
gift that they can decide what they want to do
with it and they can come to you guys, whether
it's towards botox, whether it's a treatment.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Skincare, products anything, and you can buy the gift cards online. Okay,
you can buy them towards skincare, or you can buy
them towards a service, or they can go either way.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Okay, Yeah, so I use I use some Nurse Fiona
products myself.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I saw that you got some last Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Yeah, she has one four man called the Man Yes,
which is a face you know, beard wash. I use
that every day. And then she gave me an acne
serum which I've been using and has helped me. I have,
you know, a little bit of acne on the like
my upper.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Back a little bit and you're putting it there too.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
Yeah, a little too much testosterone, right whinny?

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Yeah, yeah, too much. Give it to them to give
him too much?

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Give it to myself. But yeah, I love your products
as well.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
So thank you. We have two different lines. We have
an organic line and then we have a medical grade line. Yes,
if you're really into the clean products, we have clean
and then if you're really into like just having more
results driven products, then you're going to go for the
medical grade.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
I just wanted to say, when you brought up the
CO two, I feel like a lot of people are
scared of that.

Speaker 6 (31:13):
And they hear that and they think it's like surgical, Yeah,
like take time.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Yeah. So so a COE two treatment is a resurfacing
laser and our machine you can dial it up or
dial it down. So if you really wanted less treatments,
more downtime, more results, you're going to dial it up.
If you don't want that, then you can dial it
down and then you can just do multiple treatments and
eventually get to your goal. But it's going to help

(31:39):
with like pigmentation, it's gonna help with texture, it's gonna
help with wrinkles, what else. But yeah, this is anything
should get We should get you to do one.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Sure, sure, I'll do anything you'd like. I'll try anything.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
You love it. Yeah, so that's another good one. Bars. Yeah,
it works stars.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Too that I need to get thank you. Sorry, Yeah,
I have a scar on my knee.

Speaker 5 (32:05):
I got attacked by a sign at a grocery store
in Florida.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
I'm still late for my lofty settlement.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
So that's not laser.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Yeah yeah, but I mean it's been a year and
a half and look at it's so so fresh looking.
I'm pissed. I'm fucking pissed. Look at it. Look at
that scar.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeah, have scars all over my body.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Well, you also inject yourself with needles. Okay, that's where
that came from.

Speaker 5 (32:30):
Lord, that yourself with every day.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
That this could be good.

Speaker 5 (32:37):
You should send people from recovery to Nurse Fiona to
help wash away their sins.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
You know, whole new.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Market here, there's a whole new market. I just I
just tapped into.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
She does have a point. I do. I do have
scars from that as well.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
I feel bad like profiting from people that have an
illness and that are sorry, that have suffered. But hey,
I mean, come on over. You know.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
You're helping them, especially when you get clean.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
I am helping you. Don't want to through reminded of
that every time you look at your arm or is
it your armed?

Speaker 1 (33:15):
It's my arms in my hands, it's everything. It's been
many years, but I can I can still see them,
and I know a lot of my friends it is
the same. So I have actually actually when this actually
just give her a commission on this one. You know,
it's a real thing with addicts when they get clean.
Like I know several women girls that have to cover

(33:35):
up when they get jobs after getting clean because of
the bar.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
There's no judgment here. I mean, yeah, you know we're
we're professionals. We're nurses, we deal with, I mean an aestheticians,
we deal with.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
I mean, a scar is a scar.

Speaker 6 (33:46):
Right.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
They don't even know how they got the scar. No
know how you got the car, but we'll take care
of it.

Speaker 4 (33:51):
Yeah, we got you.

Speaker 5 (33:52):
Think whether whether it was a sign from a grocery
store or either way, we don't judge.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Imagine, I have to work with hair every single day's entering.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
What would it be if it wasn't without money?

Speaker 1 (34:07):
I know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
I bring this spice to his leg.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
It'd be a little bit more boring. I will admit
that a little bit. All right, Wait Sam, real quick
on the laser hair and move with my hair. Is
my darker hair more of a problem, like the like
the shade of the hair. So if it was lighter,
would it be easier or less treatments? Or it doesn't matter.

Speaker 6 (34:28):
No, it's opposite. So the lighter hair is actually hard.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Really Yeah, So people.

Speaker 6 (34:33):
With blonde hair, red hair, or white hair can't do laser.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
No way darker.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
So I've never lasered my arms, but I have hair
there and it's just blonde, so I can't even I mean.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
Yeah, the best combination, justin is someone like you or me,
because like you're half Spanish, I'm half Middle Eastern and
so we have lighter skin but darker hair.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
Combination snow white snow white. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
So I'd done two treatments on my back in my
arms and I got I saw, I saw some after
the first, but the second I really noticing, you know,
because I shave every week, so I know how my
hair grows. So what do you think?

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Third?

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Even more? Fourth, it just keeps getting, It.

Speaker 6 (35:12):
Just keeps getting. Yeah, it just keeps getting less coming back.

Speaker 4 (35:15):
It's what six?

Speaker 6 (35:16):
Yeah, our packages are six treatments.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
But after that a lot of people do have to
do either maintenance or like a couple more touch ups.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think by what you think, probably March,
he's good to probably yea, yeah, you'll be.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Good to go by March.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
The legs are a real big one for me. I like,
I like having smooth legs.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
You're doing your legs too. Yeah, Well, if someday you
decided you wanted to have hair on your.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Legs, well, the issue is is you know I'll just
show you.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Oh boy, he's good taking his pants off.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Okay, okay, So when I my legs, what happens is
what mark.

Speaker 6 (35:54):
Marks? Yeah, grounds, yeah, grown hair.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
Yes, his legs that okay, yeah, put your pants back on.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
I did not take off my pants in a sexual way.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
This is for business, yes, this is for your your
nurse and your assetition.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Who anyways, that's right, that's right. I don't like that.

Speaker 6 (36:16):
Yeah, it'll make a big difference.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
I know when you told me that you shaved your
whole body every Sunday, I was like, yeah, why so
it'll make a big difference.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Yeah, and raise a burn. And and because raises are
really expensive, right, what happens is I'll try to stretch
it out and use the same raiser and then.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
I get cussed. Oh my god, yeah it sucks. See
this laser here is an investment. It will save you
money in the long run. It really does. It sounds
like up front like, oh I don't want to pay
that much money, but honestly, between waxing razors and skincare whatever,
because it ingrowns like it will save you money in
the long run, especially you know, I mean, if you're
eighty you might not, but if you're like you know,
sixty years under your lifetime, you'll see the return.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
Sam. One last question for me, what other things do each?

Speaker 6 (37:00):
Can you tell everybody? Like lasers, So we do laser
for hair, We do a laser for.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Almost everything. Pigmentation, We do ipl for pigmentation, brown spots.
Vascular laser so like you know, broken capillaries, spider veins
on the legs. We do a lot of anti aging
lasers as well, so a lot of like collagen induction.
We have our radio frequency.

Speaker 6 (37:25):
In all of the lasers we do.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
They're non invasive, so they're not you know, major downtime.
Actually a lot of them are no downtime at all,
like the radio frequency. But you know they're all gonna
stimulate collagen and help with textures.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Expert she is.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
That's why answered all these questions too. But it was
you know something different.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
No, it was, I gotta tell you what. Sam very
pleasant and Mary too. Mary was great to both were great.
Your whole staff is incredible. But you know it's just seamless.
You know, we have a nice conversation, laz it was great.
This is the weirdest, No, No.

Speaker 5 (38:04):
When I tell you I like, I go to NURSIONA
and I like hang out like I don't even I'm
down on my set thing.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
I'm like, okay, I should probably leave now.

Speaker 5 (38:10):
But they're like, all right when we have other clients,
I'm like, okay, I've been here for three hours, it's
probably time to go. Because it's very comfortable. They have snacks,
they have water when you walk in, they have candy.
Michelle who I always see. Is that greets us at
the door, your receptionist.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
She's awesome. Is that her name Michelle Shelley? It's not
Michelle Shelley.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
Wait, did we have a Michelle?

Speaker 2 (38:32):
No? Wait, is Shelley not short for Michelle. No, No,
it's just Shelley.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
That's her name.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
I'm calling her Michelle.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Miss That's why I missed Michelle.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
She's lovely, good thing. I don't call her by her name.

Speaker 5 (38:48):
And then Mary, and then Sam, and then Zoe's popping
around with a smile on her face half the time,
drinking a freaking ginger ale. And then nurse Fiona always
always in and out of her office with their clients.
Everyone's great, but it's a good atmosphere. So definitely, if
you have any questions, you can DM Justin or I,
or you can go right to nurse Fiona dot com.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
That's nurse Fiona.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Yeah, yeah, I know. I was surprised. I got so
much feedback from my my reel from going Yeah, so
much feedback about you know, lasy hair removal and the
