only made sense when the fighting got so bad and
the anger and the hurt got so bad where they
were like, we can't do this anymore. They said, Okay, boom,
here's the thing. It could have been so much worse

he's living his best life. I can't speak for Billy

eyes is that money doesn't buy happiness. I told him

of him leaving and Billy getting the show. So it
only made sense when the fighting got so bad and
the anger and the hurt got so bad where they
were like, we can't do this anymore. They said, Okay, boom,
here's the thing. It could have been so much worse
for Maddie. But he he's a legend. And then he

he's living his best life. I can't speak for Billy

want to take it bad of but we confront situations.
We're vocal where you know, we're a little bit more
in your face with issues. That's not their generation and

that's not their personalities, you know what I mean.

Yeah, I And the part that really bothers me, as
I said, is that when I see comments of people
saying backstabbers that this was a planned takeover of the show,
couldn't it literally couldn't be further than from the truth.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
What do you want us to say.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Like, yeah, we bought him a multimillion dollar mansion in
Florida and sold his house here because we want him
to go so bad. Or did he do that? Did
he sell his house here and buy a multimillion dollar
mansion in Florida? Did he choose to go four days
a week?
Speaker 2 (16:57):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
I will say this and I tell this to every
you know, because obviously Maddy is you know, he brought
me over to his show, why shooting me with respect,
like you said, all that stuff, and actually told him
this one time. You know what, the great he taught
me the greatest lesson in life that everyone always hears about,
but he was first hand I saw with my own
eyes is that money doesn't buy happiness. I told him

that one time, because he had a lot of issues.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Anger all that, you know.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
I mean he was, you know, obviously very funny and
all that, but all the you know, all the money
in the world, still miserable.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, and I can appreciate him.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
I did learn a lot from working within with here,
with with him for him. But but you said sometimes
it was because what he wasn't doing. I learned, you
know what I mean, Like he showed me what not
to do, how not to act. And I always say,
you know, we're obviously all in each other's spaces, like
we get frustrated with each other. We have little tips
and whatever. But if you didn't work here during that
(17:53):
time period, it's nothing. I always help producer Riley, like
when things are ten sometimes they a girl, you have
no idea what it would have been like before. Like
we get in little arguments and we're fine five minutes later, Like,
no one's sitting here calling each other names or being mean.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
To each other.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
We have our little discussions, we get mad at each other,
and we move on. And I'm like, oh girl, this
is child's play compared to what it used to be.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
Yeah, and that and and it.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
Did teach me how to deal with a lot of
different people in this type of environment, because you're working
so closely with people that you might not necessarily love.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
You know.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
What I realized too, is it's the same handful of
people that are on social media that that just can't
let it go and they write her full stuff. I
blocked them all, by the way, it's so freeing, Well,
it's so good.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
I well, this is part of your mid life crisis.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
I deleted the post because people were tagging Matt and billion.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Just and I didn't want to make it a thing.
I didn't want to break the beasts. I don't want
to tag Matt. I like, Matt's not thinking about me.
I don't want thinking about Matt like you know what
I mean? Yeah, he has my number if he wants
to chat.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
So yeah, I was. I did.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
I try to keep a relationship with him. Obviously. I
talked to him a lot when it first happened, but
I ended up getting in a position where I was
in the middle, you know, because you know, I love Matt,
I love Billy. You know I'm working with Billy and
like he which understandable. He was like, you know, why
can't you make this happen? Like, why can't you we
just make And I tried, he did.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
I tried just just just give him a chat, just
just just let him hear him out.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Justin did try. But when I tell you, Billy grew balls.
It happened. It took a long time.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
But yeah, well he just got pushed for far enough.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Man.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Yeah, both of them, both him and and Lisa. They
just and you know, that's it's honestly between them, you.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Know, it's just and honestly, if you were with somebody
for that for decades in that environment, you would have
cracked a way before that.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
I almost feel like I almost feel like too that
I don't know, I say this without speaking out a turn.
I almost feel like I can't speak for them, Billy
and Lisa obviously, but I get this feeling that there's
a small part of a little bit of shame on
their part that maybe they didn't do it sooner. Does

that make sense that like when things would happen, things
were said and things, you know, situations took place, that
it took this long, yeah, for them to stand up and.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
Be like, hey, no, that's I know. For I don't
want to speak again. But I've always had many conversations
with Bill. He feels I think shame in the sense
as a grown man, as a father, as a husband.
He didn't nip in the butt a lot of the
disrespect that was yeah, his face publicly.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Because it progressively, towards the end got got worse and
which was actually were his words, Maddie. Yeah, he even
said that he was like I was miserable. Yeah, I
was a dick. I always mean, I own all that.
And he's tried, and I feel I almost fail for
him in a way because I'm like, I understand he's like,
I'm sorry that I did these things. I'm sorry. Why
can't you just talk to me?
Speaker 3 (20:52):
And you know, he said sorry. This man has said
sorry so many times to all of us, you know
what I mean. Yeah, Like, i I'm only three.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
I only worked him for three years and he apologized
to me so many times. Yeah, for like, you know
what I mean? And after I saw sorry is not enough? Yeah,
you know what I mean. And it's so funny. If
you guys love Billy and Lisa and they told you
they cut out a toxic friend, you'd be like, I'm
so proud of you.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
But because it's Matt, now they're mean.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Do you know what I mean? Like, that's it.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
If you said to me, Winny, I cut out Mike.
Mike's been toxic or you know, you and ZEB have
your little issues sometimes get in there and you know,
tell me all things, aren't you know, we took a
little break, And I'm like, oh, well, you know.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
For your mental health, that's great.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
And then whatever if someone told you that about people
that you respect, like Billy Lisa and they said, listen,
this is fucking killing my mental health. I can't see
all this. I need a break from his person, you'd
be like, good for you put your boundaries up. But
because it's Matt, it's not acceptable for them to put
boundaries up. And that's what's fucked up. Yeah, and I
also know I think all four of us would have
been happy to see him off.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Actually like that.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
He retired and he got his send off, and I
would have been fine, but that was on him.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
That didn't happen.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
And honestly, I'm so.

Over this because while I understand what his what Maddie's
probably issue is with the apology and everything and all
that stuff. At the end of the day, he worked
at his legendary career, okay, for years, got to retire, right,
unbelievable hall of fame, beautiful life in Florida, daughters, Marconi's wife, money,

what you love. Right, But he's now in the National
That's what he wanted, the Hall of Fame. It took
him five times, he finally got in. Okay, he's sitting
pretty yeah, Okay, it's not that bad. Like I'm not
going to treat it like he's a fucking victim, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Course, Yeah, he's living a good life. He's in retirement.
It's fine, Okay, I get it.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
It's sad. It's sad the friendships broke up. But I
feel like it could have been a lot worse.

You know, it's like sometimes when people like in my life, right,

I think to myself, I've seen the other side.

Yeah, it's crazy. You always have such a unique perpective
of your life.

It can always be worse. It could always be worse,
you know, like Matt, like for Maddie. Yeah, live your
time and man, live your life.

Travel.

He's doing all this stuff. See your daughters. You know,
it's whatever. The plan was always for this to be
the show after it was always the plan. So can
